Davis thought his life was going good, he had gotten the girl of his dream Kari to date him but after meeting their new teacher he and all of his friends are thrusted into an adventure they will never forget not just dealing with Digimon but Kaiju as well watch as Davis and the digidestined fight to protect both worlds and uncover the secrets of the Kaiju and their teacher's past

1. Chapter 1

The year was 2000, March in the springtime. Half a year after the Digidestined return from their adventures to the Digital World.

During that time period, the digidestined were fighting against Diaboromon and trying to prevent him from trying to destroy the entire world.

However on an island not that far away another incident was happening. Deep inside an underground facility a shadowy figure raced down a corridor. The figure ran down a small staircase while dodging attacks.

A second later another shadow figure came through the door and leaped down. Suddenly multiple beings appeared around him all growling.

"Get him, no matter what!" the figure ordered.

The beings gave chase after their target relentlessly down the corridors. An attack was fired at the figure causing him to stumble from the blast before he continued to run before he was blasted out of the exit by the explosion.

The figure was revealed to have shaggy white hair that reached his neck, and red eyes. He was wearing a tan jacket with a black shirt, baggy tan pants and black shoes.

The male immediately stood up and continued running with the beings continuing their pursuit. As he ran, explosions were happening all over the island.

The man came to a stop at a cliffside. "Shit!" The man cursed as he turned around to see the explosions along with his pursuers who were engulfed by the flames, not thinking twice the man leaped off the clift into the ocean, just as the explosions were completely consumed in fire and it began to sink beneath the waves.

Just as the man gasped for air as he looked back to see the island sinking.

(Year 2002)

In the city of Odaiba, the city that had once suffered from a Digimon invasion 3 years ago. In an apartment complex, A young boy lazily opened his eyes which were marone, he had short crimson hair. The young boy sat up and yawned, this boy was Daisuke 'Davis' Motomiya. Davis looked at his clock and his eyes widened.

"Oh crap! I'm going to be late!" Davis shouted as he shot out of bed and immediately got dressed, slipping into a black and blue long sleeve shirt under a sleeveless jacket with tan shirts and white sneakers.

He then rushed to the front door only to see a note on it. "Don't oversleep and get to school already squirt." Davis grumbled as ripped the note off the door. "Damn Jun! Couldn't you at least work me up?"

Davis growled annoyed by his older sister's sense of humor. 'I hope I don't run into her at school!' Davis thought, wishing they didn't merge the junior high school with the high school, however Davis pushed it to the side and ran out the door before locking it.

He was currently running down the street. Hoping to meet up with his friends.

He turned a corner and was greeted by four individuals. The first was a boy his age with his arms crossed. He had spiky black hair and golden eyes, with his right eye having a distinguished scar down it. He wore a black trench coat over a white t-shirt, jeans, and black combat boots.

The second person was a young girl who looked like that boy. She had long black hair that went to her upper back. And like the other boy, she had golden eyes. She wore a black tank top with the symbols for yin and yang on the front, along with blue jeans and slippers.

The third girl had long curly blond hair and blue eyes, she wore a white dress with brown sandals.

And last but not least was a girl with chestnut hair that went to her shoulders and hazel eyes. She had on a pink long-sleeve jacket over a black tank top and was wearing a pink skirt that stopped right at her kneecaps and had white mid-calf boots.

"Sorry… I… work… up…. A little… late." Davis said between breaths.

"Don't worry, Jun said you would be along." the black hair girl said.

After getting his breath, Davis just grumbled. "Xion, you have no idea what I go through with Jun. she's a pain in my ass."

"And so is Xeni with me, and you don't hear me complaining." Xion grinned.

"It's Xeno, Xion." Xeno grumbled not liking the nickname.

"You're lucky to have an older sibling, Davis, not many are blessed." the blond girl said having a French accent.

"Catherines right Davis, at times Tai and I are at odds but in the end we're there for eachother." the chestnut haired girl said before giving Davis a kiss on the cheek.

Davis gave a small grin while rubbing his cheek. "I guess so, Kari." Davis said.

Three of the four were his childhood friends, and the first was Xeno Jameser. A hotheaded boy who constantly gets into trouble however despite his appearance, he is very intelligent but is an underachiever, along with being his main rival in many things. The second was Xeno's younger twin sister, much calmer than her brother. Xion is a star on their school's gymnastics team and was a ballet student on the side. She usually tries to keep the peace when Xeno flies off the handle. Catherine was foreign exchange student from France, and Xion's pen pal, about a few months ago she arrived in Obdiba to learn about Japanese culture and since she and Xion were pen pals, Catherine lived with the Jamesers while she was staying. Catherine was sweet and got along with everyone in school, And last but not least was his girlfriend Kari Kamiya, he had known her since the 3rd grade, and they had been best friends ever since, her brother Tai Kamiya was one of his closest friends and an older brother figure to him. Davis has had the biggest crush on Kari, but he was afraid to act on those feelings fearing it would ruin his friendship with her, until a few months back he had asked her, and she had answered yes, and they had been dating ever since of course Tai had warned Davis about hurting Kari with Davis could understand with being around him long enough knowing Tai was only looking out for her.

"We should get going, school will begin soon." Catherine said.

The other didn't object as they began to walk to school. "Did you guys hear? We're getting a new teacher?" Kari questioned.

"Yeah, I heard. He's supposed to be our homeroom teacher but they say he studied in most fields." Xion said.

"I wonder what he'll teach us?" Catherine questioned in wonder.

"Pfft, who cares. Just another adult hired to put us to sleep with his boring lectures." Xeno scoffed. "If he's like Mr. Midoriya, I swear I'll shoot myself."

"You wouldn't need to, Mr. Midoriya's words alone would do you in." Davis chuckled.

"Boys." Kari rolled her eyes at Xeno and Davis's words, although she will admit not out loud that Mr. Midoriya's lectures did annoy her too given his tendency to constantly repeat certain lessons. "Let's give him a chance."

"And Xeni." Xion turned to her twin. "Please don't attack this teacher, the last one was in the hospital for a whole four months."

Xeno just grumbled at the nickname again. "Fine! But as long as he doesn't get in the way of us setting the score Motomiya." Xeno said while clenching his hand into a fist making it pop.

"Yeah, I got cha Jameser." Davis said in a flat tone.

The male figure from the island was in front of the school and was just starting his first day as a teacher.

He was wearing a gray t-shirt with a silver jacket with black pads over it as well as black jeans and black shoes.

As he was walking through the hallways to the class he was assigned to a voice called out to him.

"Dr…. Jaden Muto?" A woman who looked to be around the man's age holding a black binder had mid-length black hair. She wore a black suit with a white dress shirt underneath with a black tube skirt and black heels.

"Uhh yes, Ms." Jaden trailed off.

"Principle Tsubaki, Kanako Tsubaki." Kanako said with a stern tone.

"Nice to meet you Ms. Tsubaki." Jaden said offering a hand, but Kanako just looked at it. Jaden pulled his hand back and decided to change the subject. "It's your first day too, right?"

Kanako didn't respond, only opening the binder. "Yes, and I'm still trying to figure out why a professor of Mathematics, Science, Biology, and other subjects would come all they way to Odaiba to teach all these Subjects to kids and teenagers?"

Jaden just chuckled. "What could I say. Guess i'm just looking for some peace and quiet." he replied.

"So you became a junior high and high school teacher?" Kanako grinned before slamming the binder before frowning. "That makes absolutely no sense, does it Dr. Muto?"

"You know what, maybe we should hang out together so that you could tell me what to expect of them." Jaden asked in a teasing manner

"I expect you to make it hard for them, painful if possible." Kanako said with a small smile. "If they smile, then you know you are doing something wrong, now I'm to find my first truant, we'll talk later." Kanako said before she walked away leaving Jaden in the hall.

"Well…she sure is a sadistic teacher isn't she?" a slightly muffed voice said

"Quiet Dharak." Jaden whispered before he headed down the hallway and entered the classroom that he was assigned to.

Meanwhile Davis and the gang arrived at school, however they were met by a girl with long purple hair and oval shape glasses, she had on a red long sleeve buttoned shirt with a lavender t-shirt underneath and a red tube skirt with purple shoes.

"Oh great…" Xeno sighed.

The girl glared at the group mostly at Xeno. "Xeno, I hope you are listening cause your assignments are still overdue, and with the new principal working today, our school needs to show her that we are dedicated to learning."

"Tch, get off my back Yolei, I don't need to hear any of this from you." Xeno said with a glare.

Yolei Inoue the vice student body president, or as Xeno would call her the bane of his existence after Davis. She was always on everyones butt for any assignments that were overdo, always reporting any student who didn't abide by her laws, her beef was almost always with Xeno.

"That's right, we're also getting a new principle." Catherine spoke up.

"I heard she's a real shark." Davis uttered. "She's tough on students, teachers, and if she catches you doing something fun, she'll throw you in detention for 3 weeks."

"I think you're over exaggerating Davis." Kari said with a small frown.

Yolei then pointed at Xeno. "And don't forget, you still need to turn in your homework assignments!."

"Four-eyes, you won't get anywhere by imitating my mom." Xeno huffed, not even fazed by Yolei's words.

Yolei's face turned red with rage. "Four-eyes, you scared faced delinquent!" Yolei shouted, and Davis, and the girls just watched, all sighed as Xeno and Yolei began to argue like usual.

"This won't stop any time soon." Xion shook her head. "I'm going inside."

"Yeah I should head in as well. I need to grab this year's textbook from the office." Kari said with Davis nodding there was a mailing issue and Kari had accidently got the wrong book.

"What are you going to do Catherine?" Davis asked.

"I'm going to meet up with Sora, she's supposed to be helping me with my tennis lessons later." Catherine said, she and Sora were very close, almost like sisters and lately Sora had been teaching how to play tennis.

"Hey Davis!" a kid yelled out from the field. "You want to play a round of soccer before school starts?"

Davis smiled and as he was about to agree before a thought hit him as he took a look over to Kari. "Go ahead, I will be fine getting my book Davis." Kari said knowing how much he enjoys soccer just like her brother people often say that Davis was a clone of Tai which she denied, Davis may have had similar traits to Tai both good and bad but she knew where the similarities ended and Davis didn't have a older brother figure in his life so naturally he would imitate Tai and how he acted like a younger sibling would.

"I never said you wouldn't." Davis grinned at Kari, he knew Kari was joking even if she wasn't Davis knew Kari could take care of herself when he's not around while shaking his head, before turning back to the player who called him.

"Sure!" he shouted back before turning to the girls. "I'll see you three inside, especially you Kari." Davis said as he kissed Kari on the lips which she gladly returned before they pulled away.

"See you later Davis." Kari waved, smiling at him as she, Catherine and Xion walked inside of the school.

Davis grinned before he ran to the field to participate in the game.

As soon as the three girls walked down the hall of the school they came across a young boy shorter than them with very thin brown hair in a bowl like cut

"Oh hey Cody, how are you today?" Catheine asked politely.

"Oh… um I'm doing well." Cody said, while he looked around the three girls could see worry on his face which confused them, but Xion began to understand. "She's not here is she?"

"Heheheh." Xion chuckled with her hand over her mouth. "No, she's sick, but she told me to tell you not to run when she's better."

Cody sighed in defeat, however he was happy she wasn't at school even if for only a single day.

"I'm also waiting for Yolei, we were supposed to work on some flyers." Cody said.

"She might be a while, Xeno and Yolei are 'flirting' again." Xion said with a nervous grin.

"What are you students doing!" A female voice called out which made all four students bounce up in surprise.

They then turned to see Kanako standing behind them with her arms crossed and a stern look plastered on the woman's face.

'She must be the new principal.' Kari thought, the atmosphere around the adult screamed discipline.

"Well we were chatting little be-" Kari try to say only to get cut off by their new principal.

'Well Miss Kamiya." Kanako said, opening the binder and finding Kari's records. "Member of the cheerleading squad, along with being part of the photography club and assisting with other extra School curriculum."

"Umm.." Kari was taken aback, it was like she was being interviewed for a job. "Yes, ma'am."

"THAT IS Ms. Tsubaki, young lady!" Kanako reprimanded while glaring at her, which made Kari flinch slightly.

"Ah, Ms. Tsubaki, it's a plaisir I mean pleasure to meet you." Catherine said nervously, not sure how to even talk to the principal even fall back into her native tongue from her nervous.

"Miss Deneuve." Kanako said, flipping through the binder and coming to Catherine's records. "Before coming to Japan to study abroad you used to be a part of a culinary club, and a Nature club even taking up some veterinary classes along with having high mark's among your peers and now you currently live with the Jameser family."

"Ye-" Catherine was about to say.

"Mr Hida." Kanako announced Cody's last name, cutting off Catherine completely. Finding Cody's records. "Very intelligent for your age, a part of the kendo, mathematics, and science clubs, father was a police officer and grandfather a retired police officer."

Cody flinched, Principle Tsubaki bringing up his dad was a very sensitive topic for him.

"Miss Jameser." Xion having seen the pattern as she flipped to her page "A fairly model student and proficient gymnast with above average grades and unlike Mr Jameser has common sense not to cause trouble yet." Principle Tsubaki said, emphasizing the last part.

Xion frowned, this new principle was insulting her brother, yes her brother had a bad temper and would always cause problems but that didn't mean she couldn't respect and love his other traits like how he ride or die for her and their friends something he show to them so Xion decided to have a little fun. "You also forgot ballet dancer." Xion grinned with a slight bit of sass. "I thought you had all my records?"

Kanako just leered at the girl for her sass. "Thank you for tell me Ms. Jameser… but I don't tolerate your attitude, consider this your one and only warning this year next time it's detention." Kanako said

Xion nodded. "Yes Ms. Tsubaki." Xion bowed respectfully.

"Also I'm gonna make this very clear effective today: their zero tolerance for ANY form fighting during or even on school grounds and will lead to immediate expulsion for all participants is that understood!" Kanako told them making it clear wasn't question

Xion nodded 'Jeez, talking about being stricted.' Xion thought, knowing that Davis, Xeno and their frenemy Status practically fight everyday in school and now one fight could lead them to being expelled, she just hoped they would avoid fighting today at least until they can warn the two.

"Hey! Everyone!" A kid called out getting everyone in the hall's attention with short black hair and hazel eyes wearing a baseball hat with a white t-shirt black short and white sneakers. "Davis and Xeno are fighting again! Get your bets in!" upon hearing that many of the students in the halls ran to the front of the school.

"Hey! No running in the hall!" Kanako shouted, but no one was listening to her as she tightened her grip on her binder as she followed after students

'Of course' both Xion and Kari thought not even 10 minutes of school and Davis along with Xeno were brawling as usual.

"Come on, we got to get over there, before Principle Tsubaki does." Kari said knowing that might be the only chance to prevent them from being expelled.

"I know a shortcut!" Xion said. "Follow me!"

Following Xion, the three followed the female Jameser down the hall but Xion bumped into someone and landed on her ass.

"Sorry about that, but we're in a rush." Xion said, as she looked up to see a blond boy

"No, I'm sorry, I kinda rushed in here avoiding a kid with a bad temper." the boy said.

Kari just looked at the boy and her eyes widened in surprise. "TK…?" Kari uttered.

"Kari…?" the boy named TK asked, surprised seeing his old friend.

Xion quickly got to her feet. "Did this kid have golden eyes with a scar down his right eye?"

"Yes, I accidentally kicked a soccer ball and it hit his head." TK said sheepishly.

"Oh boy." Xion pinched the bridge of her nose. She can imagine what had happened after that, leading to a fight.

"Sorry TK but we need to get over there now. I promise we can catch up later. Xion which way? " Kari quickly said as she got other's attention.

"Right this way." Xion said the leading group down hall TK came from.

TK just watched as the group ran down the hall, he tilted his head in confusion. He knew that fights like this would usually end up getting either students in detention or suspended and injured.

Though TK could help but wonder why Kari needs to get over there? That one girl seems to know that boy is she friends with him?

"Well this is definitely going to be an interesting year."

Few minutes earlier.

Davis was currently playing soccer with his friend. The goggle headed boy passed the ball to one of them, which he passed it to the another some of them just looked behind them.

"Man, those two are like an old married couple." one boy said.

"It's one of those anime mangas, I read, where an annoying nerdy tsundere girl falls for a jerky delinquent." another boy said with a sly grin.

"Pfft, this isn't an anime or manga, this is really life." his friend waved his hand. "That will never happen."

Xeno and Yolei were still going at it with their argument.

"For a big brained girl four eyes you seem to be lacking in street smarts." Xeno mocked.

"Oh yeah, at least I HAVE smarts you scarred face idiot, who raised you? A pack of wolves?" Yolei insulted.

"You know bitch! Your mouth is 3 times bigger than your brain could ever be!" Xeno shouted.

"Bitch?! Oh your mother would be washing your mouth out with soap if I don't get my hands on some first!" Yolei shouted, completely offended by Xeno's insult.

"Heh, like you could do anything to me." Xeno sneered. "I could easily make you beg for mercy if I wanted too, but of course you wouldn't be worth it."

"Oh I hate you!" Yolei shouted, getting in Xeno's face.

"I hate you!" Xeno shouted back.

"I hate you!" Yolei shouted back again

"Remind me what their record is?" the boy asked as they heard two continue yelling I hate you at each other.

"Twenty five minutes straight during lunch last year, Xeno's sister and Cody had to literally pull them apart."

"Think they're gonna break it this year?" The first boy asked

"1,000 yen says they do before the end of first semester." the other boy wagered.

"You're on." his friend said and they both shook hands.

Back with Davis who just ignored his friends wager, he was focusing on the game, his friend who got distracted for a second because of the bet the other players made, accidentally kicked the ball too high and out of Davis' reach.

"Oh man, sorry Davis." The player apologized.

Davis waved at the player. "No problem, I'll get it." Davis said as he saw the ball landed next to a blond kid who was looking at him funny. "Hey kid, can you kick the ball back please?"

The blond kid seemed to snap back to reality and tried to kick the ball to Davis, however again it sailed over him, Davis turned around and his eyes widened in fear seeing where the ball was heading.

"I hate you."

"I hat-ow" Xeno was cut off mid sentence when the soccer ball hit him in the head. Xeno glared at the ball and growled before pivoting on his heel to the field. "OK! Who's the wise guy that kick that fucking ball into the back of my head!?"

Everyone on the field with the exception of Davis just pointed to the blond boy who looked shocked that almost everyone on the field just ratted him out like that.

"I'm sorry it was an accident." The blond boy said in calm apologetic tone

"Oh your right…" Xeno grumbled while cracking his knuckles. "You're about to find that out the hard way, that Xeno Jameser doesn't take hits to the back sitting down "

"Xeno! Stop it was an accident! You really want to be suspended on the first day again?" Yolei said, hoping to spare the kid who she knew was Takaru Takashi, a new student from getting hurt.

"Seriously Xeno it really was an accident." Davis insisted but could see he wasn't going back down "fine if you want to fight then come at me I'm the one who asked the kid to kick it over anyway."

"That's fine with me, Motomiya! I'll kill you first then him!" Xeno declared clenching his fists tight as he walked onto the field.

"Kid just head in I got this." Davis told him as other kids practically ran off the field getting out Xeno path.

TK nodded as he ran to the side of the field and into the school. At that time Davis and Xeno met in the center of the field, both stood only 10 feet away from each other staring each other down as the wind blew across the field. As a crowd of kids and teenagers began to gather around them from the field and from within the school all placing bets and talking about who was going to win.

"Seriously Xeno you need to look up the word self-restraint." Yolei muttered when she noticed certain people coming out the school.

The two got ready and in moment the two start running toward each other.

"Xeno/Davis don't fight!" Only for two to hear a voice respectively breaking the two contractions and trip over their feet falling face first onto grass.

Davis put both hands on the ground and slowly pushed himself up, Xeno did so as well as he spat out some grass that got in his mouth.

"Now I feel like a goddamn cow! Ok who fucker that caused me to trip!" Xeno growled as his anger kept growing as he looked for one who caused him to trip as students broke away and all pointed at Kari who rolled her eyes at action and was next to his sister, Catherine and Cody. He sees his sister and their friends breathing a little heavy catching their breath.

"Jeez, I wonder Xeni?" Xion questioned with her hands on her hips, finally breathing steadily.

"What are you doing back out here?" Davis asked, confused.

"We needed to stop your fight." Kari said with look of relief on her face.

"Cody, what are you doing out here?" Yolei was surprised to see her friend/assistant.

"I kinda went with the group." Cody admitted to kinda being dragged along.

"Seriously I get into a fight once a day, that hardly warrants you three and shortstack to come out and cause me to eat grass." Xeno grumbled, crossing his arms.

"My name is Cody, Xeno." Cody said softly, he never liked the nickname Xeno had given him.

"No, we had to get here and stop it before she got here!" Catherine said looking very nervous

"She?" Davis arched an eyebrow.

"That would be me!" A stern female voice rang out from the crowd which caused many of the students to move to the side.

Revealing Kanako who opens her binder "Satoshi 'Xeno' Jameser and Daisuke 'Davis' Motomiya" she announced both of their first and middle names.

"Mr Motomiya" Kanako called out his last " Below average grades with expectation of physical academics, especially when it comes to soccer. You have habit of turning in assignments late by 30 percent though it has recently decreased to 25 percent and your arrival to class on time is only 90 percent with you having ten detentions, half of them relative to fighting during your time here."Kanako said in very cold tone which Kari and Xion noticed compared to how she spoke to them

'Woah, she doesn't sweep the details.' Davis thought, feeling like he was being interrogated.

"Mr. Jameser…" Kanako said in an even colder tone, finding Xeno's records. "Even more below average score just barely above passing, you have a habit of starting fights which is almost every day since you join this school with last year alone having more fights then any other student entire time here with the exception of a young man named Sai, you barely ever turn in your assignments, you even broke a teacher's arm last year for simply reminding you of one such assessment."

"What are you, my parole officer." Xeno said more annoyed then surprised by her reading off his record.

"Mr Motomiya and Mr Jameser effect immediately you both are expelled from this school you both are to leave premises now or I will call the authorities to arrest you for trespassing." Kanako said without any hesitation

"You can't just expel us on the first day!" Davis shouted, completely shocked by what Kanako said.

"Yes I can, you two are the very examples of delinquents who don't belong in this school." Kanako said.

"And you're the prime example of a woman who needs to get laid." Xeno counted calmly, which caused the crowd of students to ohhhh, while Xion, Yolei and Kari just face palmed.

"Mr Jameser, do I have to add sexual harassment charges against you as well as trespassing?" Kanako said while glaring.

"I'm only pointing out that if you had a man in your life you wouldn't be as crazy as you are now." Xeno said with a grin.

"Xeno stop!" Davis growled, not needing him to dig them a deeper hole.

"Umm, Principle Kanako." Yolei spoke up. "As much as I want Xeno gone, but don't you think expelling them on the first day would be bad for the school's image? Especially since technically the two didn't fight all that happened was them tripping and falling onto the ground" Yolei said simple pointing out the facts.

"Yeah, my brother and Davis didn't fight at all, so in a way they didn't break your rules." Xion quickly added, playing on Yolei's words. "It wouldn't be right for them to be expelled and we have plenty of witnesses to back that up right?" Xion said while glaring at the crowd.

"Oh yes, they didn't even throw a punch." a random boy said nervously.

"We saw nothing right, girls?" A red-headed girl said to her friend who simply nodded.

Kanako simply stares at Yolei before she then opens her folder "Yolei Inoue" as she finds Yolei's records. "Straight A student, having one of the highest overall grade averages, student body vice president and head of the disciplinary committee, you also work at your parents' convenient store, when not in school" she then turns her head toward Davis and Xeno

"Mr Motomiya and Mr Jameser you both have one week's detention starting today failure to arrive on time we result immediate expulsion is that understood."

"Yes ma'am." Davis immediately nodded.

Xeno just glared at Kanako before Xion smacked him in the head, making his yelp. "Yes, ma'am." Xeno grumbled while rubbing his head.

Kanako then turns her head back to Yolei. "Miss Inoue, I expect these two to be severely punished during their detention."

"Yes, Principle, I'll make sure they never break the rules again." Yolei nodded.

Kanako turned to the crowd of students. "What are you waiting for? Head to your classes or I'll expel all of you!" Kanako shouted and instantly the crowd disbanded, she then turned to the main group. "You all as well!"

Not arguing, Davis, Kari, Xeno, Xion, Cody and Yolei walked inside of the school, leaving Kanako in the front of the school.

Watching from the window was a silver haired teen. His hair was in a ponytail and he has bangs that went went his chin

Nobu, the student council president who just sighed at Xeno's behavior. Nobu was captain of the kendo team as well as a straight a student just like Yolei and has a good relationship with the Kamiya's as well as the Jameser

"Looks like this year is going to be something else." Nobu sighed.

"Are you ok young man?" a voice asked.

Nobu turned to see Jaden. "Yes, I don't think I've seen you before. Are you the new teacher Jaden Muto?" Nobu asked.

"Yeah." Jaden smiled before looking at Nobu's expression. "Let me guess trouble already?" he asked

"Tch, that's an understatement, a kid I know, Xeno and Davis almost got expelled just a few minutes ago by the new principal." Nobu sighed.

Jaden was shocked. "Damn, well at least they didn't get expelled." Jaden said in an awkward tone

"I have a feeling this won't be the last time they'll get threatened with expulsion, now Yolei and I have to think of a punishment for those two, so Principle Tsubaki doesn't expel them." Nobu said

"Well if it makes you feel any better, I wish you the best of luck then." Jaden said. "I'll be off teaching class now."

"Have a good day sir." Nobu said, before he left for his class.

"Well, I better get to my class." Jaden said as he walked down the hall.

"You two owe me for even bothering to stick up for your sorry butts." Yolei said, having a smug tone in her voice.

"Oh you are enjoying this aren't you?" Xeno frowned.

"Brother, you did escalate the situation over an accident." Xion sighed.

"TK didn't even mean to hit you." Kari said.

"TK?" Davis asked. "You mean the blond kid who hit Xeno?"

"His full name is Takaru Takashi, he's supposed to start today and he'll be in your homeroom class." Yolei told them. "But giving the fact that Xeno even tried to hurt him, it's clear his first day is off to a rough start."

"Pfft! When I get my hand on him…" Xeno growled.

"Umm… Xeno maybe you should refrain? Remember what Miss Tsubaki said?" Catherine reminded him.

"Speaking of which, I heard she was a hardass, but not to that extent." Davis said.

"I'm not one to insult people I just met, but the new principal is really uptight, she literally has information on all of us down to a T." Xion stated, she respected teachers and other adults, Ms. Tsubaki probably isn't a bad person, just very strict but her attitude definitely does not leave a good impression on Xion.

"I think she's good for this school, maybe now these two and Sai will think twice before even starting a fight." Yolei said with a grin.

"Really Yolei?" Davis said, giving her a look, before turning Kari. "what do you think Kari?"

Kari had to think for a minute. "I… I think she could be a little less strict on the rules." But deep down, she didn't like what Kanako said to both Davis and Xeno, especially Davis, but there was nothing she could say with a new principle. There were obviously going to be new rules, they just have to accept them.

"She even talked about Cody's dad." Xion said, which made Cody stiffen, Xion immediately apologized. "I'm sorry, Cody." she knew how sensitive Cody was about talking about his dad, it was the same for Xeno talking about their dad.

"It's ok." Cody said. "We all should head to our respective classes," he said before turning to Yolei. "We still have flyers to work on Yolei, and you did promise you to take a look at my computer after school."

"Thanks for reminding me." Yolei nodded. "And I'm going to be telling Nobu who will be in charge of your punishment."

"Fuck…!" Xeno cursed under his breath.

With nothing else to say to each other, they went their separate ways. Cody, Yolei, and Catherine went to their classes, while Davis, Kari, Xeno and Xion went to their class.

Once they arrived, they saw that a lot of their classmates were already in class.

"Seems like our teacher isn't here yet." Xion stated.

"Good, I don't feel like getting lectured again." Xeno grumbled as he walked over to his desk.

Davis and Kari looked at each other and shrugged while Xion pinched the bridge of her nose with nothing more to say. The three also took their seats. Xeno sitting in the back with Xion in the middle. Kari was in the second row with Davis a seat or down from her.

After a minute or two Jaden entered the room holding a stack of papers. He looked around the room, taking in all of the kids in the classroom.

"Hello class, I'm Jaden Yuki Muto. I'll be your teacher." Jaden said as he introduced himself to the class.

"Hello Mr. Yuki." All the kids with the exception of Xeno who seemed to be bored, his head lazily positioned on his knuckle.

"So, does anyone have anything exciting to say before we begin class?" Jaden asked. "Like something that they did during summer vacation."

"I liked not being here." Xeno said in a bored tone.

"Well, he sure isn't exactly Mr. sunshine." Dharak whispered

Jaden just smiled awkwardly while his eyes are closed

Kari than raised her hand.

"Yes Ms." Jaden said, not knowing her name

"Hikari Kamiya, but Kari for short." Kari told him.

"Alright, what is it?" Jaden asked.

"We've heard that you've studied numerous fields in your line of work. Can you tell us what kind of fields that you've studied?" Kari asked.

"Well, I've studied Mathematics, Science, Paleontology and I even learned Archaeology from my uncle in the past as well as Cryptozoology." Jaden answered

Xeno's eye looked at Jaden with a bit of interest. Xion raised her hand. "Um. Mr. Muto?"

"No, Mr. Muto is my father's name, just Jaden is fine." Jaden said.

"Ok, Jaden, give in how much you know. It's surprising that if you applied for our school, those skills of yours would have been better in either Harvard, Yale or even Bancroft." Xion said

"True, right now I just want some peace and quiet for a while." Jaden said

"Umm, I think you chose the wrong school, Jaden." Davis stated.

"I'm starting to think that as well." Dharak whispered, agreeing with Davis.

Jaden smiled. "I'm sure i'll be fine." he said, the kids finished telling him what they did during the summer Jaden then held up a hand getting everyone's attention. "Thank you all for sharing your stories and I'm sure you all know that we have a new student joining us." Jaden said, turning to the door which revealed TK.

"Class, meet your new classmate." Jaden gestured for the boy to introduce himself.

"Hello, my name is Takaru Takashi, but please call me TK." TK said as he bowed respectfully. "I hope we can all get along."

"Great." Jaden said. "You can sit in the seat next to Miss Kamiya."

TK nodded and walked over to the desk next to Kari and sat down. "It's like old time huh?" TK smiled at Kari.

"Yeah, we have a lot to catch up on." Kari smiled back.

Davis just watched from where he was and he felt a twinge of jealousy. 'How close are those two.' Davis thought, not liking how chummy TK was with his girlfriend.

'Grr, when I get my hands on him.' Xeno thought.

"Alright, since this is the first day back, we'll only do a pop quiz once you are done, you'll be free to talk to each other for the rest of the class." Jaden said as he began to hand out the work sheets.

Meanwhile, in the Digital World, in a forest.

"Run for your lives. It's the Digimon Emperor!" a scared voice called out as they ran.

Several black ring-like objects were coming out of the forest chasing after the Digimon. It latched onto the Digimon. At that time, Patamon, Biyomon, and Tentomon were being chased by Snimon. "twin sickles!" He shouted before he sent two sickle beams at them. The beams nearly hit them, causing Biyomon and Tentomon to separate while Patamon hid away.

"Oh no, Biyomon, Tentomon." Patamon said, concerned for his friends.

Just then, a teenage boy with brunette hair wearing a green uniform arrived and kneeled next to an orange dinosaur. "Agumon, are you ok?"

"Tai, you're here," Agumon said, looking at his old friend.

"No time to catch up, time to Digivolve," Tai said, holding Digivice, but to his shock it wasn't working and simply beeped.

"That's the thing Tai, I can't digivolve," Agumon said.

"It's like riding a bike, remember? So start pedaling and Digivolve," Tai told him.

"I'm afraid it's not that simple Tai, it's not that I don't remember it's cause I literally can't digivolve." Agumon said, trying to help Tai to understand the problem.

At that moment somewhere in the digital world, in a room full of screens a boy watched Tai and Agumon. His hair was black with skin being on light side and he wore a blue suit with white on sides and on the chest, a black belt with a gold buckle on his wrists, ankles and around his neck look like cuffs, he had on a cape with interior being black while outer edges were gold, two large golden shoulder pads and on his face was golden glasses with lenses being pure black.

"Haha, it's no use, thanks to the power of my dark digivice there's no way for them to Digivolve," the Digimon Emperor laughed.

Tai gritted his teeth, trying to figure out why Agumon couldn't digivolve and if that was true that meant the others couldn't Digivolve either.

"How is that even possible!?" Tai asked but before Agumon could say anything else Snimon came flying over to them ready to sic his sickles into them.

Tai, and Agumon ran and had met up with Patamon, and Snimon was still chasing them. Suddenly they ran into Gatomon.

"Quick move your tail," She said, pointing at the cave

Once they were inside, the cave Tai took out his D-terminal. "We're going to need help, I'll contact the others," Tai said.

Back in the human world, school was nearing its end, and Catherine was currently playing a match of tennis with a red-headed girl Tai's age. Both girls were wearing a white polo shirt with matching white skirts and tennis shoes. The score was 15 to 30. The red-headed girl was head of Catherine.

"Not bad, Catharine." the girl said with a small grin. "Remember to keep the form I showed you."

"Yes, Sora." Catherine nodded, while bouncing the tennis ball.

Catherine swung her racket forward sending the tennis ball bouncing to the edge of the Sora's zone but out of nowhere Sora delivered a well timed back hand swing and sent the tennis ball sailing to Catherine's side of the field.

The blonde rushed to the side and was barely able to hit the ball onto Sora's field however it had touched the white line automatically giving Sora 45 points. "On the white line Catherine, that's 45-15." Sora said in a playful tone.

"Oh, Mince!" Catherine said in her native language, which translates to Darn it. "I just can't keep up."

"Heheh, it's ok Catherine." Sora giggled. "You're getting better, you just need to work on your speed and accuracy along with your flexibility." Sora explained. "For speed, maybe you should join me for track and I can help you with accuracy as well, for flexibility you can ask Xion if you can join the gymnastics squad."

"Oh la la, I don't think I can last in Gymnastics." Catherine said track might be something she could do, but she wasn't sure if she was flexible enough to even apply for gymnastics.

"You don't need to stay on the team, just stick around until you get your flexibility up." Sora said as she walked to the locker room with Catherine following close. "I take up gymnastics and ballet to help me with my flexibility and balance, it took me a while to get Tai to join in."

Catherine just imagined Tai in a leotard, and she couldn't help but giggle at the image. The two entered the locker room, and opened up their assigned lockers. "So what are you doing after school Sora?" Catherine asked as she opened up her locker, before she began to undress.

Sora took off her shirt revealing her bright red strapped bra. "Well, me and Tai are planning to catch a movie, after that we're going out to eat." Sora explained, as she unzipped her white skirt which fell to the ground revealing matching red panties. The red-head stepped out of the skirt and opened her bag revealing a female version of Tai's school uniform along with a towel. She took it out and placed her tennis uniform inside.

Catherine took off her tennis outfit, revealed her white training bra and matching white panties. She wiped back her lovely golden hair, and turned to Sora who had taken off her bra revealing the red-heads D cup breasts, before they were covered by the older girl's towel.

Catherine sighed, placing her hands on her chest. She was a B cup which was pretty good for her age but she couldn't help but feel envious of Sora's figure. The blond then saw Sora walking into the showers, Catherine decided to drop the subject and finished undressing and wrapped herself in the towel before joining Sora in the showers.

Both girls enjoyed the hot water making contact with their skin, the tenseness in their bodies leaving them along with the sweat and stiffness of their tennis game. After a few minutes they both exited the showers, dried off and got dressed. Sora in her uniform and Catherine in her casual outfit.

"So what will you be doing after school Cath?" Sora asked, as she and Catherine exited the locker room.

"Well, me, Kari and Xion were planning to have a girls night out, we even planned on inviting Yolei so she can, how do you say? unwind." Catherine answered.

"Sounds like fun." Sora nodded. "I'll see you later, Cath, same time tomorrow?"

"Absolutely." Catherine nodded, and with that the two girls went their separate ways.

However, something in Sora's bag began to beep. Sora reached into her back and pulled out her D-Terminal and looked at the message. "Come to the Digital World now, the Digimon need our help?" Sora read and expression changed to a mixture of nervousness and seriousness. "Oh Tai, what have you gotten yourself into?" Sora asked herself as she ran to the nearest computer room.

Earlier before Sora got the call from Tai, Jaden was walking in the hallway when he ran into Principal Tsubaki.

"Dr. Muto, how was your first day?" Kanako asked.

"It was great. The kids were great and there was no problem at all." Jaden said.

"Great, you'll get to see more kids during detention." Kanako said, confusing Jaden.

"Um, excuse me?" Jaden asked, "Am i In trouble?" he asked

"No, you'll be in charge of them." Kanako stated.

"Ah, I'm sorry but I can't do that." Jaden said "I have plans to go to a museum later outside of town as well as meet up with a friend of mine."

"Perfect bring the little monsters with you, it'll be sufficient torture for them." Kanako said.

"But -" Jaden tried to reason but he was cut off by Kanako.

"Mr Muto either watch them or you can go clear out your desk on your first day the choice is yours." Kanako threatened with frown on her face

Jaden just sighed. "Very well… who are the students I'll be looking after?"

Kanako grinned and handed him the paper. "These are three main ones you need to keep and eye on, for next week."

"Wait a week?" Jaden asked surprised

"Yes a WEEK so I would advise you keep your schedule open."

Jaden sighed, not attempting to fight her on it he had to hope Alice will understand.

"Also Mr Muto if they cause any trouble you can expel them on the spot," Kanako stated.

"Ms. Tsubaki, don't you think expelling them on the spot might be-?" Jaden tried to reason with her only for her to cut him off again.

"I will see you in the morning Mr Muto." she said walking away not bothering to hear what he was saying

Jaden just watched Kanako's retreating form. "She's like Crowler, only 10x worse." Jaden muttered to himself

"I think calling her sadistic was being generous." Dharak whispered.

"Ahhh… looks like I'm stuck babysitting." Jaden said, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Well, I might as well go to the computer room to print out some worksheets for them."

"Are you regretting being a teacher?" Dharak asked.

"Shut it Dharak." Jaden grumbled as he walked to the computer room, Jaden knew it was going to be a long week.

Jaden was sitting at a computer, frustrated one of the downsides of this world was that the technology was obsolete by his standards. The assignments were copied and passed onto a thumbdrive.

"There, that should do it." Jaden said, as he pocketed the thumbdrive.

"Can we leave now?" Dharak asked.

"Yeah, don't want to keep Alice waiting." Jaden said as he got up and left the room to call his wife to explain the situation to her, however, he seemed to have forgotten a weird shape black and purple toy laying on the spot where sunlight was shining.

Not long after Jaden had left Sora arrived in the computer room, she looked around and saw no one was there.

She quickly typed on the computer and the gate to the digital world appeared on the computer screen. "Tai, Biyomon hang on, I'll be there soon." Sora said, taking out her Digivice and holding it to the screen and in a flash of light she was sucked into the screen.

As soon as she left, the toy popped open for a second before closing again just as Yolei walked into the computer room.

At that time Kari was currently talking to TK, Xion decided to head home ahead of her and Catherine and lucky Xeno head for home as well which was good for TK.

It's nice to see you again, Kari," TK smiled. He was really surprised by how much Kari had changed. He hardly recognized her, but it made sense, three years can really change a person.

"It's good to see you too, so you just moved back here with your mom?" Kari asked.

"Yes, though she hasn't seen me yet since she's been on the computer the whole time." He said jokingly.

"Parents, what are you going to do?" Kari shugged.

Just then Catherine walked up to the two. "Bonjor Kari, and you too Takaru." Catherine greeted the two.

"TK is fine." TK waved his hand.

"We didn't properly meet earlier." Catherine said. "My name is Catherine Deneuve."

"Nice to meet you, mademoiselle." TK said politely.

"You speak french?" Catherine asked surprised.

"Only a little." TK shrugged. "I've only just started taking classes."

"Well, if you want, I can help you with your French if you want?" Catherine offered.

TK smiled. "Sure, I'd like that."

"Careful, buddy, you'll find a lot of competition for Catherine." Davis said as he walked up to the three hands in his pocket.

"Oh Davis, it's good for you to join us." Catherine said, with a bit of blush as Davis said, a lot of the boys around school often gave her a lot of attention giving her gifts and stuff while flattering it made her bashful.

"So Xeno and Xion are gone?" Davis asked Kari.

"Yeah but."

"I'm still here." Xeno voice came as he walked up to them.

"I thought you left?" Kari asked surprised.

"My wonderful sister was waiting and reminded me I had detention today" Xeno said sarcastically

"Grr.. don't remind me." Davis groaned remembering he would have to stay after school as well for next week.

Xeno glared at TK who just backed away slightly. "You're lucky, I can't hurt you here, but that doesn't mean you're safe outside of school."

"Oh Xeno, can you just let it go already and leave TK alone." Kari said very annoyed.

"She's right Xeni, don't want you getting in any more trouble." a familiar voice said, the four turned to see Nobu walking up to them.

"Oh hey Nobu." Davis greeted.

"I can't get a break today can I." Xeno complained.

"Oh stop it, you got yourselves into this mess." Nobu said.

"Wait a minute! I tried to stop him from hurting TK and I got detention for nothing at all." Davis complained.

"Davis stopping one fight with another fight isn't nothing and both are lucky you got saved by technicality or you both wouldn't be here complaining." Nobu said

"Tch, whatever, I'm going." Xeno said as he walked down the hall to the room where detention was.

"What the hell's wrong with him?" TK asked.

"Many things kid, but that's only putting it lightly." Nobu answered.

"He's not that bad, Xeno may be a jerk but he does care for his friends most of all his family." Kari said.

Everyone, even TK glanced at Kari with a look.

"That would seem believable if he wasn't always picking fights with everyone unfortunately." Nobu said. Not having much of a bias, unlike Kari does.

"Eh, Xion keeps him in line, him going to detention is proof of it." Davis waved his hand. "Speaking of which, don't hit on Xion. Xeno can be very protective of her and Xia."

"Oh don't remind me of the last guy who did. Gave her a wolf whistle and Xeno put him in the hospital for 6 months." Kari said.

"Kind of an overreaction, if you asked me." Nobu said as he glanced at Kari who was willing to defend Xeno. "After all Xion is old enough to accept or reject someone."

"Try telling that to Tai." Kari mumbled.

Nobu chuckled. "Well in your case it's funny, in Xeno's case it was basically assault."

"To be fair to Xeno, that kid did pull a few stunts, like him being in the girls locker room with Xion in there going to change?" Kari said, waving her finger

"Ok, i'll give him that one." Nobu relevant that was the one time, he didn't even bother to punish Xeno since that kid did break the rules by spying in the girls locker room.

"Oh yeah, I would have done the same thing if he did that to you Kari." Davis said, clenching his fist.

"Please don't become another Xeno Davis. I don't think school could handle that." Nobu said to Davis

"Let's just drop it Nobu." Davis said. "No point in even continuing on this topic."

Before Nobu could answer Yolei walked up to them. "Kari, there's a message on the computer from your brother Tai." she said, getting everyone's attention.

"Tai?" Kari asked, wondering what Tai wanted.

"Come on, I'll show you." Yolei said as she walked to the computer lab with the others following behind.

The group arrived in the computer room, where they were met with a redheaded boy who wore the same uniform as Tai, and he was holding a strange object in his hand.

"Izzy." Nobu spoke up.

"Oh Nobu." Izzy said happy to see his friend and then noticed TK. "TK is that you? You've grown."

"Yeah, it's good to see you too, Izzy." TK said happy to see his old friend.

"So Izzy what's going on?" Kari asked, from what Yolei told them on the way, it had to do something with the digital world.

Izzy was a little apprehensive since Davis, Nobu, Catherine, and Yolei were here so he wasn't sure if he should say anything about the Digital World.

"Yolei said something about a Digital World?" Davis asked.

"You can tell them Izzy." Nobu said, as he took out his sleeves revealing a device on his wrist. The device looked similar to a wristwatch of some sort

"Is that a digivice?!" Izzy said in surprise.

"It's different from ours." Kari said, taking out her digivice along with TK.

And to everyone's shock, Catherine took a digivice as well. "I thought I was the only one with one." Catherine said.

"Wait, wait!" Yolei spoke up her arms in the air. "I'm lost. Can someone tell me what the digital world is and what is a digivice?"

"We'll explain later alright." Nobu said

"You better Nobu." Yolei said she didn't like to be kept in the dark.

"Sora went ahead not long ago and is in the digital world." Izzy told them, Nobu noticed something in Izzy's hand.

"Izzy what's that? A dice?" Nobu asked.

Izzy looked at the object and just shrugged. "I'm not sure, I just found it when I arrived in the computer room?" Izzy answered.

Suddenly Davis snatched it out of Izzy's hand. "Heh, doesn't look like much." Davis said, but his ear was grabbed by Kari making him groan in pain. "Ahh! Kari! Not the ear!" Davis whimpered.

"Don't snatch things from people baka!" Kari scolded Davis.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Davis apologized, as he waved his left arm. And with that Kari let him go. Davis rubbed his ear while his other hand went into his pocket.

"Catherine, how long have you had your digivice?" Izzy asked curiously.

"Well to be honest I'm not sure how I got it. It was just lying in front of my computer about a week ago when I got home from practice with Sora."

"You never told Xeni, Xion, Xia or even their mom?" Kari asked

"I didn't know how to explain how this just appeared in my room without seeming folle, I mean crazy" Catherine said correcting herself after slipping into her native tongue

"Fair point." Kari shrugged, she was one to talk, when Agumon's digi egg first appeared in her and Tai's room they or more accurately Tai didn't even know how to explain how a big egg appeared out of their dad's computer and that least crazy thing that happened.

"Well what about you Nobu." Izzy asked, turning to him.

"Like I said to Yolei we can explain EVERYTHING later, don't we have matter right now?" Nobu said in a questioning voice.

"Right." Izzy said remembering why they are all here.

Meanwhile, back in the Digital World, Sora made her way through the forest following Tai's digivice signal, she had also been avoiding a lot of the Digimon who tried to attack her.

"Out of all things, why does it seem like every time we are in the digital world, we have to run for our lives!" She yelled, she then hid in a bush as a Snimon passed by, she looked out and saw it was gone she sighed before she felt something grab her shoulder.

"Ah!" Sora shouted before turning around and seeing her Digimon partner Biyomon. "Biyomon? Geez, don't scare me like that…" she said, feeling like she was about to have a heart attack.

"I'm sorry, Sora," Biyomon apologized before she drew her into a hug which Sora gladly returned. "I missed you so much."

"Me too," Sora smiled; as she pulled away Sora couldn't help but ask. "What's going on? Why are all the Digimon acting like this?"

"It's all because of the Digimon emperor and his dark rings." Biyomon said.

"Digimon Emperor?" Sora questioned, but she saw a few Digimon passing by. She knew they couldn't stay in one place; they had to move. "Tell more along the way; Tai isn't too far from us let go."

Biyomon nodded, and they began to move along the forest to Tai's current location while Biyomon began to tell Sora about the Digimon Emperor.

At that time, Tai, Agumon, Gatomon, and Patamon were in the back of the cave, and they appeared to have found an egg. But I was orange and red like a flame. It also had a spike protruding from it.

"Isn't that a Digiegg?" Tai asked; he had never seen a Digiegg like this one before. "It even has the crest of courage on it."

"Yeah, but I've never seen a digiegg with a spike on it," Agumon said, crossing his arms.

"I hate to have been the chicken that had to lay that thing," Gatomon remarked.

Tai then reached out and tried to pull it out of the ground, but it wouldn't budge; however, it began to glow, making Tai back off as 5 lights appeared out of the egg.

"They look like fireflies," Tai said as he saw them fly out of the top of the cave at a fast speed. "And really fast ones,"

Meanwhile, outside, Sora and Biyomon had made it to the cave just in time to see the lights fly out and disappear from sight as they continued on to their destination.

"What were those?" Biyomon asked, confused.

Sora shook her head. "I don't know; maybe Tai can tell us. His signal is coming from the cave," she said, pointing at the entrance.

Biyomon nodded as they made their way inside the cave; Sora and Biyomon looked around and saw a light at the end of the tunnel; there was Agumon, Gatomon, Patamon, and Tai!

"Tai!" Sora yelled, running over to him.

"Sora!" Tai exclaimed and ran towards her; when they reached each other he grabbed her by the hips, lifting her into the air and spinning them before he put her down. "I'm glad you got my message,"

"Of course, someone needs to make sure you don't do anything stupid," Sora said in a cheeky tone.

Tai rolled his eyes and smiled. "Haha, very funny," knowing Sora was only joking.

"I'm glad to see you are alright, Agumon," Biyomon said, landing next to him. She was worried about him ever since the Digimon Emperor had shown up.

"You too, Biyomon, glad you got to safety," Agumon said, happy Biyomon was safe as well.

"Tai, Biyomon said that there's a human going around enslaving the Digimon, but that's impossible since we are the only ones who can access the Digital World," Sora said. She and Tai knew that the only ones who could access the Digital World were Digidestined and it made her worried.

"That's what I thought too, but Gatomon told me about a Dark Digivice, which means a Digidestined that we didn't know about is the cause of this," Tai said, clenching his fist it was still hard for him to believe that any Digidestined would even try to enslave the Digimon.

"What were those lights that shot out of the cave?" Biyomon asked out of curiosity.

"They came from that weird digiegg over there when Tai tried to move it." Agumon told her.

Both looked at the Digiegg in question and saw it was strange looking like Tai and the others. They had never seen a Digiegg like that before; Sora walked over and tried to move it but like Tai, she couldn't.

"Damn, it feels like it's welded to the ground," Sora said, pulling with all her might before she fell backward on her behind. Sora breathed deeply for a few seconds before getting back to her feet.

"That's not budging anytime soon," Tai said, crossing his arms.

"This digital world, what is it, some kinda amusement park?" Yolei asked.

"Not exactly." Izzy shook his head. "think of it as more of a parallel world that operates under its own law's that is loosely connected to ours under ideal conditions." Izzy explained in the simplest way he could think of.

"So parallel worlds truly exist?" Yolei said, putting her finger to her chin. "Incredible! This could prove many of those theories!" Imagining the possibilities this discovery could lead to.

"So it's like the Phantom Zone, or Lorule?" Davis asked, remembering the superman comic he read and his latest Legend of Zelda game, A Link between Worlds.

"More so Lorule if you have to use one the two but still not quite exactly the same." Izzy said. "Anyway something has happened in the Digital World, based on a message I got from Tai I just finished sending a response when you got here and Sora sent out a message as well saying digimon are a lot more aggressive and having to avoid them."

"Well then I'm going to go help." Kari said, determined making her way to the computer as she pulled out her digivice.

"I'm coming as well." Davis said, if Kari was going he was too, besides Tai and Sora were his friends as well so he wouldn't let them face anything alone.

"Um Davis it's not that simple you need a digivice to open a gate to get into the digital world?" Izzy tried to explain

"Izzy, I don't care, if Tai and Sora are in trouble then I'm coming too can't I just barrow Nobu's?." Davis asked.

"No you can't." Nobu said quickly shutting that idea down.

"Why?" Davis questioned

"One, I don't trust you with my digivice for multiple reasons, and two a Digivice is MEANT for one it is given to so it is fair to say that if someone else tries to use it instead it wouldn't work for them." Nobu explained.

"Damn it! There's gotta be something I can do!" Davis gritted his teeth.

Catherine lowered her head, she was planning to have Davis borrow hers for the time being, but with Nobu's explanation, that thought was tossed out how do people say? The window.

Before Yolei could say anything objectionable, Cody stepped into the room. "Yolei, there you are, you promised to look at my computer." Cody reminded his friend.

"Oh that's right." Yolei said she did make a promise to Cody, she then turned back to the others. "I want details of your finding in the Digital World, down to every last detail, I want to know everything."

"You can't just tell us that." Davis utterered.

"You're not going anyway." Yolei reminded Davis. "And I wouldn't trust you to give any details at all." she said before leaving the computer room with Cody.

"Ohh I hate her so much." Davis frowned annoyed, by Yolei's insult.

"I think you need to take a ticket behind Xeno." Nobu said, adding much to Davis' frustration.

"I can't wait any longer I'm going in!" Kari said but before she could open the gate, 5 orange lights appeared out of screen shocking everyone as one flew into Davis' hands the other 4 flew out of the room two going left other two going right the two that went right landed in Yolei and Cody hand's, the last two light flew down the hall and went separate ways, light traveled down the hall just as Xeno opened up the door to detention and it hits him in back of the head causing stumble and hit ground face first again. As he looks up see's what hit him with a glare filled with rage.

The final one flew to the entrance to the school where Kanako was about to exit, the light shot right passed the new principal into town with the woman being startled by the sight, making her drop her binder.

Davis gasped before showing the others what was in his hand. "Look at this!" Davis said.

"Another digivice!?" TK gasped.

"It's another different model from the ones we have." Kari said looking down at hers and then looking at Catherine's

"Not just one if each light has one then their are four more out their " Nobu pointed out

"Who do you think they went to?" Catherine innocently asked?

"Hey!" a familiar angry voice shouted. They turned to see Xeno along with a nervously Cody and annoyed Yolei.

"Who's the wise guy that punted me with this trinket?" Xeno said holding out a black and dark red version of the Digivice Davis had just gotten.

"I'm kicking their ass fuck me getting expelled." Xeno growled.

"Oh kami. Why him?" Nobu pinched the bridge of his nose, thinking the digital world was playing some kinda game or they were that desperate for help either way that world is going to regret that decision.

"You got a digivice too Jameser?" Davis questioned.

"Wait, are you the one who flung this into the back of my head?!" Xeno demanded.

"I didn't do anything, these things flew out of the computer and the reason it hit you and head could just be karma coming back to bite you." Davis told Xeno not to be in the mood to be accused.

"Oh, do you want to finish what we started Motomiya?" Xeno questioned cracking his knuckles.

Davis shook his head, as much as he would to put Xeno in his place. "No Xeno, I have more important things to do, Tai and Sora are in trouble." that when a flash of light happened behind him turn to see that Kari was gone

"Wait where's Kari?" Yolei asked surprised by the flash.

"She must have left for the Digital World." TK said.

"Damn it!" Davis shouted as he rushed over to the computer. "And people say I rush into the things half cocked!" Davis said and on instinct he held up his Digivice and in the flash of light he too vanished in a flash of light.

"Get back here Motomiya we are not done!" Xeno yelled as Davis vanished as he turned to Izzy grabbing him by collar lifting him up despite being shorter than Izzy Xeno was much stronger then he looked. "Tell me how to get in there or I'm putting you in that computer the hard way." Xeno threatened glaring at him.

"Just hold up your digivice to the screen!" Izzy choked, trying to catch his breath before being shoved to the ground by Xeno.

"Really that's what this fucking thing is called." Xeno said, rolling his eyes at name as he looked at the computer screen, before giving off a creepy grin. "Hehehehe, this might actually be some fun…" Xeno chuckled before holding up his device up to the screen and in a flash of light he also vanished.

"Damn Xeni!" Nobu growled in annoyance.

"Jeez he's terrifying, he could give the Dark Masters a run for their money in intimidation." Izzy coughs as he catches his breath.

"Izzy, are you ok?" TK asked in worry as he bent down to him.

"Yeah TK not the worst experience I've been through but definitely up there." Izzy said

"Izzy, trust me when that delinquent gets back, I'll deliver the harshest punishment that even he can't escape from." Yolei said.

"I am more worried about what is happening in the digital world." Izzy admitted.

"TK, you head in and I'll follow afterward." Nobu told TK.

TK nodded before holding up his digivice and in a flash of light, he vanished into the computer. Before Nobu could follow Kanako entered the room. "What the hell is going on in my school!" Kanako shouted at the top of her lungs.

Everyone in the room turned to see Kanako along with Jaden who just arrived not long after her. "What was that light? Is this a prank your delinquents are pulling on me?" Kanako yelled

"Delinquent?" Yolei squeaked in fear, she had never been called that before. "Ms. T-Tsubaki let me explai-"

"No! For that light that passed me in the out by gate and for what you possibly have done you ALL have detention for a WEEK and for you two Ms Inoue and Mr Ryouma I will have to do review your abilities to hold your positions as vice student body president and head of the disciplinary committee and student body president respectively until then you are all staying here with Mr. Motomiya, Mr. Jameser and your brother Sai Mr Ryouma." Kanako breathing heavily turning to Jaden.

"Mr. Yuki, please escort these delinquents to your home room and you will be taking along with you like the others." Kanako said, which made Jaden sigh knowing it would be more work.

"I'm not a delinquent. I'm not a delinquent! I have never broken a school rule in my life. My perfect attendance records I have no blemishes on my records!" Yolei begged, hoping Ms. Tsubaki would be lenient.

"Ms Inoue thanks to that outburst of yours you made my decision quite easy. You are being stripped of responsibility as vice student president effective immediately and have a second week of detention now unless you want to lose your role as Head of Disciplinary body too go to detention now!" Kanako screamed at Yolei

Yolei immediately clamped her hands over her mouth as tears began to fall from her eyes. The other kids and Jaden just looked at her all sad knowing how hard she worked to gain that position and how she worked to even be a star student.

"Y-yes Principal Tsubaki." Yolei lowered her head.

Kanako just smirked before turning away. "I hope this will teach you kids not to prank me, next time it's expulsion consider this as being lenient." she said before leaving.

Yolei sank to her feet and lowered her head as her glasses hit the floor, Cody lowered himself to her level and patted her back. "H-how could it come to this…? In one day, I went from a non blemished star student, to a… delinquent girl…" Yolei sobbed before she began to growl. "I'll kill him, I'll ring that Jameser's neck! I'll snap him in TWO!" That got everyone except Cody to move away from Yolei.

'Sorry guys, it looks like you're not getting any other help now.' Nobu thought

Jaden just looked at the kids awkwardly not even knowing what to say, after a few minutes he spoke. "Umm… sorry you kids are in this predicament, I wish there was something I could do to help." he said, rubbing the back of his head.

'Comparing her to Crowler clearly is an insult to him 'cause at least he had some level of respect for students who were top of their class.' Jaden thought.

"Also have any of you seen a black and purple object in here, it kinda looks like this." Jaden asked, as he took Dharak out of his pocket, it was fine for him to show them Dharak they would only see him as a toy or part of a dice set.

"Yes I saw something like that." Izzy nodded. "Actually I have it right…" Izzy said as he searched his left blazer pocket but it wasn't there.

That when hit him when Davis grabbed it he actually never gave it back meaning he still had it on him. "ahhh, hahaha, I… Davis must have taken it somewhere…" Izzy chuckled nervously.

Jaden did not look happy at that. "Where is he!" he demanded, he couldn't believe his shock, he had foolishly left the bakugan trap in the computer room and now some kid was running around with it.

"He?" Izzy asked, confused.

"Damn." Jaden muttered, realizing his mistake.

Kari, and Davis arrived in the Digital World, the young girl landing gracefully on her feet while Davis landed on the ground face first, Kari held her hand to her mouth trying her hardest not to chuckle at her boyfriend's grand entrance.

Davis got up and grumbled and looked around in awe, but then he noticed his clothes were different. Davis looked around in awe, but then he noticed his clothes were different. He was wearing a dark blue bomber jacket with a red and yellow flame pattern at the bottom and over a light green shirt. He was also wearing dark olive green shorts, dark blue socks, and orange and white boots.

"Woah, this place gives you a new outfit." Davis said, looking himself over then see Kari giving him her hand helping to his feet.

"You look good Davis." Kari grinned. "And I give your landing a 6.7."

Before Davis could answer, Xeno arrived and landed on Davis's back. Knocking him into Kari forcing the two to ground. Xeno groaned as he rubbed his head. "Note to self, interdimensional travel is a hassle." Xeno groaned.

"Jameser!" Davis and Kari shouted, surprised that Xeno was in the digital world, before they could tell him to get off them TK then arrived and landed on the three as well.

"Ahh!" TK groaned.

"The fuck." Xeno groaned underneath.

"Talk about a 1 point landing." Davis uttered.

"Get off me!" Kari shouted, feeling completely squashed underneath all three boys.

"Where the hell are we?" Xeno demanded.

"We'll tell you if you and TK get off us!" Kari shouted.

Eventually everyone managed to get up and after Davis and Kari stopped Xeno from trying to kill TK again. Both TK and Kari explained everything to Davis and Xeno.

"So this the place where those 'things' come from?" Xeno questioned with some venom, before he looked himself over, Xeno was now wearing a long black tail coat with red trims and golden buttons on the collar with a choker round his neck, over a red t-shirt, he wore black jeans with brown combat boots and red fingerless gloves.

"Damn." Xeno said as he looked at his clothing. "I look wicked." he smirking

"You look even more like a criminal now." Davis muttered

"You want to go at it Motomiya! I still own you for this morning!" Xeno threatened.

"Is it always like this?" TK asked Kari

Kari just sighed. "Yep… hard to believe those two are best friends…" Kari muttered under her breath, before she walked over to the two of them and pulled their ears causing both boys to yelp in pain.

"Ahh! Kari, why the ear again!?" Davis demanded in pain.

"Damn it girl, that hurts!" Xeno said also in pain.

"That's enough! I don't want to babysit you both, Tai and Sora need our help. So I want you two to drop this bullshit and not argue for the rest of our time here." Kari shouted as she pulled on their ears even harder, making Davis and Xeno yelp in more pain. "Do you both understand?" she demanded

"Yes, yes! I won't fight as long as we are here." Davis shouted.

"Ok, ok, just let go of my ear." Xeno promised.

Kari just let go of their ears, which both boys rubbed. "Now come on! Tai and Sora are waiting!" Kari said, turning her back to the three.

'Man, Kari really has changed, she even got Xeno to listen to her.' TK said, astonished.

Davis turned to Xeno who grumbled. "Truce?" Davis asked, holding his hand.

Xeno just looked at Davis' hand and scoffed but he took it. "Truce." Xeno reluctantly agreed. "So where do we start?"

"Our Digivice can track other Digivices." TK told Xeno, before taking out his, on the screen there were 6 red dots. "Ok, these four are us, here."

"So the other two are Tai and Sora." Davis finished. "So we head straight." Davis said, pointing north.

"We need to be careful though." Kari uttered. "Me and TK don't have our partners, and we don't know what Digimon are your partners, so we need to be cautious."

"Then let's get going." Davis said, pumping his fist.

And with that the four made their way through the treeline hoping to avoid any danger as they made their way to Tai and Sora.

At that same time, Tai and Sora, along with the Digimon, were making their way toward the signals that appeared a few minutes ago. Both older Digidesiend were reminded of when they first arrived in the Digital World, running unable to defend themselves, and with their Digimon unable to digivolve made it even worse.

"This is really annoying, like total Deja vu," Sora said as she followed close to Tai.

"Yeah, I forgot how much I hated this part being in the Digital World," Tai stated, as he followed the directions on his digivice. "So how long had the Digimon Emperor been enslaving the Digimon."

"He showed up about a few months ago; we haven't actually seen him in person; we tried to fight back, but his dark rings were too much, and most of our friends got captured, out of us and the other DigiDestined Digimon," Gatomon explained.

"The others, Frigimon, Ogremon, Monzaemon?" Sora asked in worry.

"Yeah, with the way things are going, all Digimon will be mindless slaves," Biyomon said

"We won't let that happen, and we'll find a way to beat this Digimon Emperor I know we will," Tai said, before his Digivice began to beep. "They're just up ahead," Tai said before Patamon flew ahead of them.

"TK!" Patamon exclaimed with excitement.

TK and the others came in sight as TK also dawned a happy expression at seeing his partner after so long.

"Patamon!" TK said happily as he hugged his partner.

"Gatomon." Kari exclaimed as she ran over and hugged her partner.

"I missed you so much Kari." Gatomon said happily.

Kari then noticed that her partner's tail ring was gone. "Your tail ring… what happened?"

"Boy, this is a weird reunion." Xeno muttered, his arms crossed.

"You had to break up the moment right?" Davis remarked.

"Davis, Xeno…?" Tai was surprised to see the two boys in the digital world.

"We're glad to see you and Sora are ok, Tai." Davis said happy to see his friends were ok.

"Tai, we'll talk about it later." Sora said, grabbing his arm. "But we need to head back to the cave, it isn't safe for us."

Tai nodded in agreement. "Come on, we need to get out of the open." Tai gestured for the others to follow him and Sora, unaware that a Dark Ring was floating above them, had been following Davis's group since they first arrived in the Digital World.

However it wasn't the only thing watching, form the shadows a small figure stood glaring at the group then at the Ring, with a snap of it fingered a small ball of dark red fire appeared on it's pointer finger, with a small flick the ball of fire shot at the ring and completely engulfed it before it exploded.

"Hmph!' the small figure huffed before it stepped deeper into the shadows and vanished from sight.

Meanwhile in detention the rest of the gang were sitting in room 121, a decent size room painted white that could fit 15-20 students, their were 2 windows on the end of room cabinets were on the west side of the room with a sink and some basic washing supplies on the counter along with three drawers on each side of two cabinets.

Jaden sat at the teachers deck, doing some paperwork. While the others sat at their decks doing the assignments Jaden had printed out earlier. Nobu, Yolei, Cody, Izzy and Catherine were close to finishing their work along with a young man who was a year older then most of the younger kids. He had spikey white hair and dark brown eyes, wearing a blue blazer with a light gray shirt underneath, blue jeans and black and white shoes.

Jaden was busy reading a book while glancing at the kids every now and then. "Where is Mr. Motomiya, Mr. Jameser and Ms. Kamiya?"

"We.. don't know." Izzy answered, not wanting Jaden to know about the Digital World.

"Alright then, I bet they won't be too happy when those two learn they'll be in even more trouble on the first day of school." Jaden said as he went back to reading

'And I hope he throws the book at Jameser!' Yolei thought, she couldn't believe that she was in detention… years of following the rules trying to set an example, perfect attendance, straight A's and she had never got into trouble even once, but now she was unjustly placed here and her parents were probably ticked and her brother would be mocking her until the end of time.

"Hahaha, it's hilarious how you ended up here big brother." the boy said who couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, the star students, the student council president placed in detention on the first day with his female sidekick, it couldn't be funnier!"

Nobu just ignored his younger brothers as he just handed in his work

Yolei however just glared at the boy in complete rage and disgust. "I'm no one's sidekick Sai, and if you keep bringing it I'll cut your balls off and shove them up your ass!" Yolei shouted in anger.

"Ohh, you cursed, you just keep breaking your own best detention I ever had." Sai chuckled.

Nobu just sighed before speaking. "Yolei just ignored my brother, he's just trying to get a rise out of us." he told Yolei before he turned to Sai. "Sai, I'll speak to my mother about this later."

"Really? then how are you going to explain how you got detention on the first day?" Sai asked.

"I'll tell her my side of the story." Nobu said with authority.

"Will you brats shut up!" Jaden shouted, slamming his hand on the desk causing it to crack. "I'm already having a hard time dealing with this myself, I should be visiting the museum as part of my job."

Everyone just looked at Jaden before he continued. "So if you all don't sit down and shut up, I will have Ms. Tsubaki expel all of you."

Just then a knock came from the door. "What is it now?" Jaden shouted in anger.

The door slid open revealing Xion. "Sorry Mr. Muto, am I interrupting you?" Xion apologized.

"No, I apologized, I'm just watching over detention." Jaden said

Xion looked and was shocked to see Nobu, Yolei, Catherine, Cody and Izzy in detention; she never would have thought any of them, especially Yolei, Cody, Nobu, and Catherine would be in trouble. "Yolei, Catherine Nobu what happened? I never thought either of you would get detention." Xion asked.

"Long story." Nobu said with a sad smile. "Why are you here? Looking for your brother?"

"Yeah, mom wanted to tell him something." Xion answered. "Not just that, I was waiting for Catherine and Kari, we were supposed to go out after school." Xion said before turning to Catherine looked down in shame.

"Désolée Xion, looks like we won't be able to have fun." Catherine apologized in her native tongue.

"It was your brother's fault I'm in here and practically lost my perfect record." Yolei complained.

"Um, Yolei, technically speaking Xeno didn't do anything." Cody stated he understood Yolei was angry, but she was blaming Xeno for something he 'surprisingly' didn't do.

"Kid, don't bother." Jaden said. "She's currently going through the 5 stages of Grief." he said with minor amusement in his tone but even Jaden felt sorry for how hard she worked.

"And she's currently angry, and blaming Xeno is her natural response." Nobu added.

Xion was already connecting the dots, Principle Tsubaki must have been the one to do this and she didn't show any mercy to Yolei despite how she was an honor student to a T.

"Aren't you worried about me?" Sai asked Xion who glared at him.

"Sai, the day I worry about you is the day Xeno and Yolei kiss." Xion scowled, which thankfully Yolei was too consumed in her grief to even take notice.

"Oh screw you." Sai scowled

"By the way Xion, I don't suppose you've seen Mr. Motomiya and Ms. Kamiya as well as your brother have you?" Jaden asked

Xion shook her head. "No, I sent my brother back here, and Kari was supposed to meet me and Davis, I thought he would be here. But I don't know where they could be, I mean it's not like they all vanished in a flash of light and ended up in some other world or something?" Xion said, waving her hand dismissively.

That very statement made Nobu, Izzy, Catherine, Cody with the exception of Yolei look at each other before looking back at Xion who seemed confused with the awkward silence.

"Ummm, did I say something wrong?" Xion asked, confused. "Never mind." Xion shook her head before turning back to Jaden. "Anyway, if you see my brother, tell him this: I'm going to kick your fucking ass for getting detention on the first day again, that's what my mom wanted me to tell him. If you have any trouble with him, call mom and she'll rough him up for ya."

"Thanks Ms. Jameser, is there anything else you want to add?" Jaden asked.

"No Mr Muto." Xion shook her head, before turning to Catherine. "I guess I'll see you at home, and just so you know, my mom knows you wouldn't break the rules." Xion told Catherine who nodded before the second youngest Jameser left the room.

Nobu looked out the window, wondering how the others were doing.

Just then Jaden's phone rang and he sighed. "I got to take this." Jaden told the kids. "Nobu, I want you to keep things calm, and feel free to rough up anyone who speaks up." Jaden said his glare turned to Sai, before Jaden out the room and answered the phone.

"Hey honey, my first day? Interesting… let's leave it at that." Jaden sighed.

back at the cave, with everyone safe inside Gatomon began to explain the situation again.

"He called himself the Digimon Emperor, and he began to enslave all the Digimon, not only that he has a new dark digivice that prevents us from Digivolving." Gatomon finished.

"A lot of us tried fighting back, but it was no use. The dark digivice not only prevents us from Digivolving, but it also drains our power." Biyomon added.

"The opposite of what Digivice normally does." TK said, putting a finger on his chin."They're supposed to empower a Digimon."

"Show her one of yours." Kari told Davis and Xeno who just took out their digivices.

"Like these?" Davis asked.

Gatomon looked at his digivice. "That's it! You two work for the Digimon Emperor!" Gatomon accused both Davis and Xeno with glare.

"Wait a minute." Davis spoke up, shocked by the sudden accusation. "I work for no one, besides, mine is not dark, I got mine when it flew out of the computer." Davis as Gatomon kept glaring at him

"Gatomon he's not working for the Emperor, I can vouch for him." Kari said getting between the two Gatomon looking into her partner's eyes can see her honestly she then looks toward Xeno.

"Come cat as if I would work under someone else. I decided what I do and take orders from NO ONE just ask her." Xeno said pointing at Kari while feeling insulted, he did what he desired.

"He's right about that to a frustrating level." Kari said in an annoyed tone that Gatomon picked up.

"But his Digivice, it's dark much like the emperors." Gatomon stated.

"Look, whiskers, I didn't ask for this damn thing. It just appeared out of nowhere and hit me in the back of the head and you need to stop throwing accusations around like that before I see if you cats' really have 9 lives." Xeno glared at Gatomon who glared back.

Only for Kari to grab his ear again "Don't threaten my friend and partner Xeno or it be me you deal with." Kari said

"Damn, girl let go!" Xeno demanded.

Kari then turned to Gatomon who raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure we can trust them?" Gatomon asked, arching an eyebrow.

Kari gave her a smile "if you can't trust Xeno then trust me when I say he isn't helping Digimon Emperor ." Gatomon releases a sigh.

"Alright Kari, I'll trust you." Gatomon decided to put her trust in Kari's judgment.

"And you apologize." Kari told Xeno.

"Ow, why me? She's accusing me." Xeno said feeling more like the victim here.

Kari responded by pulling Xeno's ear harder. "Alright! Alright! I'm sorry for insulting and threatening you, Gatomon." Xeno apologized.

"You're forgiving." Gatomon said with a cat grin.

With that Kari released Xeno's ears while the other humans and Digimon just sighed.

"Damn it." Xeno said, rubbing his ear before glaring at Kari who just huffed.

Patamon decided to continue from where Gatomon had left off. "The digimon emperor uses Dark Rings that function similar to the Black Gears we encountered years ago, and once a Ring is attracted you, you're a slave for life."

"And good luck trying to get rid of fleas." Gatomon added.

"I'll slap a dark ring on him!" Kari said in anger. Unknown to them a dark ring was hovering above them, relaying a feed back to the Digimon Emperor himself.

At that moment in a base somewhere in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor had heard what Kari said and just chuckled as if he heard a joke.

"I like to see you try," The Digimon Emperor mocked as he looked at the computer screen. "Now let's see, inni, minni, mini, mon." said before pressing a button on his keyboard. "Attack Monochromon!"

In a mountain full of Digimon in cages, one of the cages began to rise up as a hatch opened on top the cage reached the top revealing a Digimon that resembled a Monoclonius Crassus. the upper face is covered by black armor that extends into bony frills with red stripes. Its greyish build is armored on the back reaching all the way to the tail with white bone armor on its stomach. Its nose has a single large horn and green eyes.

On Monochromon was a Dark Ring around its body "Raaah!" Monochromon roared.

"And to join him." the Digimon Emperor smirked as he pressed another key on his keyboard.

Soon another cage reached the top before revealing a creature resembling a Gastornis, a species of extinct carnivorous flightless bird only with metallic feathers on it.

it had a Dark Ring around its neck. Diatrymon screeched.

"And lastly to make things interesting." the Digimon Emperor smirked with an evil grin as he pressed one final key on his keyboard

Another Cage reached the top before revealing the creature. It resemble a green muscular bipedal dinosaur with rhinoceros horns on its snout and it had two large red-striped black tusks protruding from its back

It had a Dark Ring around its neck as Tuskmon roared

Tai and Sora showed them the Digiegg. "I've never seen an egg with a spike in it." TK stated.

"And it's even heavier than my mom's meatloaf." Tai joked.

TK tried to move the egg, but to no avail. "Damn it budge." TK grunted trying to lift it but stopped.

Kari then stepped forward. "Stand back, this is a woman's job." Kari said as she tried to lift it but much like the others it didn't budge.

"If only there was a woman here to help." TK joked which earned him an annoyed slap in the back of his head from Sora. "ow!" TK yelped rubbing the back of his head, he should have known Sora wouldn't have taken kindly to that joke.

"You're up Xeni." Tai said, which made Xeno glare at him for the nickname.

"Sooner or later, I'll shove those goggles down where the sun doesn't shine." Xeno threatened before he also tried to lift the egg but much like the others he failed. "Damn it! Does this thing have its own gravity?"

"You're the last one Davis." Tai said, if Davis couldn't lift the digiegg then no one can.

Davis nodded, taking a deep breath, he bent down and grabbed the digiegg and pulled with all his might. For a second it seemed like it would budge, however with one more pull the egg popped out of the ground with Davis' falling flat on his ass.

"Well that was easy." Davis grinned.

But to everyone's shock as a pillar of orange energy shot up from where the egg once sat, they watched as a small blue dragon digimon with yellow V on its forehead. As soon as it opened it's eyes, it leaped out of the pillar of light with a big smile.

"Woah ho!" the dragon exclaimed as it danced around Davis who was completely confused by what was happening. "Free at last! Free at last you moved the Digiegg!"

The small blue dragon stopped and held out his hand to Davis. "My name is Veemon, but call me Veemon." Veemon introduced himself.

"Um, hi i'm Davis." Davis sheepishly introduced himself.

"I've heard of Veemon, he's an adventure seeking digimon who brings you good luck, but I thought they were extinct." Agumon said.

Gatomon thought the same thing as well, she also heard of the Veemon species but just like Agumon said they were extinct wiped out from years of war even before the Dark Masters were around. During her time working with Myotismon which wasn't her fondest memory she learned that the last of the Veemon Species were the Royal Knights Magnamon and UIforceVeedramon who were mysteries themselves and they had both fallen in battle but for a Veemon to be here should be impossible.

"It's nice to meetcha Davis, since you removed the Digiegg of courage that makes you my partner." Veemon said.

"I think you got the wrong guy." Davis said.

"Tch, just accept what you're given Motomiya." Xeno scoffed having his hands in his pocket.

Just then the cave began to shake.

"What's going on in an earthquake?" Davis asked, looking around.

"No look up there!" TK shouted poining above them.

Suddenly Monochromon smashed through the ceiling, attempting to get into the cave roaring at them.

"What the fuck is that?" Xeno demanded in shock.

"A monster!" Davis answered.

"No it's a digimon!" Kari corrected Davis.

"It's Monochromon!" TK said recognizing the Digimon.

"Boom, Bubble!" Patamon fired off a blast of compressed air.

"Spiral Twister!" Biyomon flapped her wings, creating a spiral of green flames.

"Pepper Breath!" Agumon fires a fireball.

However the attacks just bounced off Monochromon's shell like they were nothing.

"Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon roared as he started charging his own attack.

"Run!" Tai shouted.

Not needing to be told twice, the others ran out of the cave into the passage just as Monochromon unleashed his attack and it collided with the opening resulting in an explosion that collapsed the opening.

As they were running, Veemon spoke up. "Davis, you need to use the power of courage to open the digiegg."

"What the heck are you talking about?" Davis said, not even sure what Veemon was even say, behind them Monochromon busted through the rubble, and began to pursue his targets.

Davis and Veemon came to a cliff stopping right at the edge. "Shit! One more step and we would have fallen over." Davis said seeing how far down it was, he turned around looking back in the cave.

"Davis, get down here!" Tai called from the bottom.

"Move your ass Motomiya!" Xeno called after.

Davis looked down to see Tai and Xeno, Veemon looked behind them and saw a blast of fire heading straight for them. "Davis move!" Veemon shouted pushing himself and Davis down the cliff as the attack passed over them, Davis and Veemon tumbled down the ciff and landed on the bottom.

"grrahg…" Davis groaned through his teeth, holding his shoulder. "Damn it."

"Davis, are you ok? Are hurted?" Veemon asked in concern.

"I dislocated my shoulder." Davis answered in pain, it wasn't really the first time it happened but it still hurt like hell. "Can you pass me a stick?"

Xeno walked over and kneeled before Davis. "I think this will be faster." Xeno said as he and Veemon sat Davis up, Xeno took hold of Davis' shoulder with both hands. "Hold your breath and on three." Davis did what he said and held his breath. "1, 2 snap!" Xeno didn't finish counting as he snapped Davis' shoulder back into place.

"Ahhh!" Davis screamed in pain.

"There it should be back in place though I don't have a fix for your goggles." Xeno said

Davis brought his hand up to his goggles pulling them off his head and see's one lens were completely shattered. "Man, Kari gave these to me for my birthday." Davis said remembering how she gave them to him a few years back before they had started dating and he cherished them.

"She can get a new pair, right now I suggest we run!" Xeno shouted pointing up at the cliff, Davis and Veemon looked to see Monochromon right above them on cliff looking down at three

"Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon fired off as three barely got out of the way in time as they ran to catch up other's only to see them toward them!

"Not this way!" Tai yelled as they were being chased by another digimon that looked like a hunched over green dinosaur with long tail green spike's going down it's back along red stripes a skull and crossbones on it's arm's with few Stars wrapped around the arm as well and two large Black and red horns coming out it's back with it being Tuskmon.

Davis, Xeno and Veemon skidded to a stop "You got be kidding us what next a pterodactyl." Xeno yelled.

They then heard a screech in the distance as Large metallic bird charged out of the forest, its head, wings and talons covered in metal while the rest of it's body had feathers covering it with its talons looking especially Sharp, the digimon being Diatrymon.

"You just had to open your big mouth huh Jameser?" Davis remarked with a glare.

"Shut up Motomiya, do you have a solution to this problem!" Xeno growled.

"Yeah, run." Davis simply said, it didn't take a genius to know they were little out match and didn't have a way to fight back

"Davis, you need to open the Digi egg." Veemon pleaded.

"And how is making omelet going help us now!" Xeno yelled as they ran away from both Monochromon and Diatrymon.

"Panzar Knuckle!" Tuskmon shouted as his first began to glow with energy before he punched down at Tai and the others, however his fist missed them, however the force of the impact sent all of them flying.

"Kari!" Davis shouted in concern and fear.

"Destruction Roar!" Diatrymon shouted as he released a loud shriek at Davis, Veemon and Xeno forcing them cover their ears as Davis drops the Digi egg as force of Roar forced them back toward others

Tai groaned as he struggled to get up. "Agumon… Sora…" Tai said through gritted teeth.

"Tai…" Agumon uttered as he walked over to his partner.

"I'm fine Tai." Sora said as she struggled to get up.

"Sora, are you ok?" Biyomon asked in fear and concern for her partner.

"Just a few bruises." Sora said.

"TK…?" Patamon flew above his partner.

"I'm fine buddy." TK relatively fine.

"Kari are you ok?" Gatomon asked in worry.

"I think s- ow" Kari said as she tried to get up only for the second she tried to put pressure on her left foot only for it to give out. "My ankle, I can't move it."

Xeno got to his knees and gritted his teeth. "I hate this fucking world, these fucking things should be destroyed along side ass of world." as he forced his body up

As Davis slowly got back up he felt a shaking in his pocket "What the?" Davis uttered, as the toy that Izzy had earlier bounced out of his pocket, he was so much in a rush to follow Kari he must have pocketed without thinking.

"Oh yeah I guess I still had that." Davis said empty mindedly

"What is that thing?" Xeno asked as he wasn't in the classroom at the time when Izzy showed them the toy.

Before Davis could answer the Toy bounce one last time before opening up and moving around confused?

"Does this world bring toys to life?" Xeno asked in shock before getting a frown on his face."Sure why not. Hey toy you wouldn't happen to have anything to deal with this?" gesturing to digimon surrounding them sarcastically not expecting an answer.

The Trap Bakugan looked around at digimon before then leaped in the air and glowing with purple aura that flashed, and in its place was a larger black-colored 6-headed serpent who began hissing at the opposition.

Xeno just stares at what once was a toy for a moment before saying "Alright, I give up!." Xeno said, throwing his hands into the air. "This world is trying to make me look crazy, it's beyond any logic I can even think of."

'You were already crazy to begin with Xeni.' Davis thought to himself, before turning back to the creature.

"Alright, now I'm getting confused. Why is this toy suddenly alive?" Davis asked only for the Bakugan to turn two of its 6 heads towards Davis and Xeno and hissed at them both in anger

"Why are you hissing at us?" Xeno glared at the toy now turned monster.

"Oh, I guess I landed on you. I'm sorry for that," Davis guessed, not realizing that it was the toy remark.

"Davis, Xeno! We can use some help here!" Sora called out as she immediately had to roll away to avoid Diatrymon stabbing her with its sharp-clawed talons.

Legionoid immediately understood the situation, and even though its ally Jaden wasn't around, it quickly slithered toward Diatrymon and rammed the bird off of Sora.

At seeing the new arrival, all the Digidestined and Digimon looked at the 6-headed serpent

"Woah! I didn't see that coming," Davis said in awe.

"I've never seen a creature like that. Is it a Digimon?" TK asked Patamon.

"None, I've never heard of Digimon like him before." Patamon answered.

At that time, the Digimon Emperor watching the battle was surprised by the appearance of Legionoid. "What is that creature? I have no data on it at all," the Digimon Emperor gritted his teeth in anger.

He then pressed a few buttons on his counsel to give Diatrymon new orders to focus on the new creature that appeared and kill it; he will just study the corpse later to find out what it was. He also noticed that one of the girls had gotten hurt and was vulnerable, making her the perfect target for Monochromon cause no matter if they try to protect her or run to save themselves, he can scratch off at least one annoying pest from his kingdom.

Legionoid began to position four of his six heads, two aimed at Agumon and Biyomon and two at Patamon and Gatomon, while the last two were staring at both Diatrymon and Monochromon.

"Ah, why are you looking at us?" Patamon asked uneasily.

"I'm not sure, just hoping he is still on our side." Agumon said uncertainty

Legionoid then fired from four of his heads, a deluge of nearly white liquid, with only a hint of purple on the coloring.

"Hey do you need those eyes of yours checked you hit wrong targets." Xeno yelled

The liquid began dissolving in each of the targeted Digimon's skin.

"Eh, what was that stuff?" Biyomon said in disgust.

"Wait, I'm suddenly getting stronger." Agumon stated, as he began to feel power welling up inside him.

"Yeah, me too." Patamon stated, he to feeling power welling up inside him as well.

"Whatever he fired at us, made us all stronger." Gatomon said, looking at her claws before clenching them.

"Do you think you can digivolve?" Tai asks with hope in his voice.

"Unfortunately, no, but maybe it's enough to even the odds." Agumon said, getting an idea.

"Pepper Breath!" Agumon unleashed his attack however unlike it's usual, it was now dark purple and hit Tuskmon resulting in a huge explosion pushing him.

The Digidestined and the Digimon just watched in awe and it clicked.

"That wasn't an attack, it was a power boost!" Davis called out.

Xeno just put his hand to his face not bothering to say anything and just really hating this world.

"Let me try!" Biyomon said wanting some revenge on Tuskmon for what he did to her, Sora and their friends.

She took to the air. "Spiral Twister!" Biyomon called, as she unleashed a purple spiral for flames scourging him forcing him back.

"Boom Bubble!" Patamon inhaled and released a powerful blast of air sending Tuskmon off ground onto his side.

"Alright!" Tai pumped his fist, now things were looking he rushed over to Sora and helped her up. "Are you ok?"

Sora nodded, before turning back to their partners. "They're pushing them back, whatever that thing did, our digimon can now battle stronger opponents."

However Monochromon was charging at Gatomon who cracked her knuckles. "Lightning Paw!" Gatomon shouted as she met Monochromon half way and slammed her fist to his face which sent him skitting back.

The digimon of light landed on her feet and grinned. "Now if that Unimon was here, I would teach him a lesson." Gaotomon grinned.

Monochromon shook his head and growled. "Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon exclaimed as he unleashed a power ball of flames, however… it wasn't aimed at Gatomon.

"Kari!" Tai called out in fear.

"Get out of the way!" Davis shouted as well

Kari gasped, adrenaline taking over, she pushed past the pain in her left foot and barely leaped out of the way and was blown away in the explosion. She landed on the ground rolling a few feet away crying out in pain, as she held her leg which was now not only did it feel even more broken but now her boot was now on fire forcing her kick it off despite pain she felt with it gone her ankle which was now scorched and bleeding.

Davis didn't even waste any time and rushed over to his girlfriend, with Veemon and Xeno following behind.

"Kari! I'm coming!" Davis shouted.

Legionoid was battling Diatrymon with Legionoid trying to wrap around Diatrymon to restrain him with Diatrymon trying to keep out reach and attack with Destruction Roar.

"Davis, you need to use the Digiegg now!" Veemon said this time it was more demanding. "I can digivolve only if you use your courage to unlock it!"

"Wait, where is it?" as Davis searched for it

"Over there!" Xeno shouted pointing to the side where the Digiegg was. "I got it, go check up on Kari!" Xeno shouted as he ran towards Digiegg.

As he reached it and grabbed it only for Diatrymon to block his way to them back.

"Out my way bird brain!" Xeno shouted.

"Destruction Ro-" only to get interrupted by some flame hitting him in the back head distracting him for a moment which all Legionoid needed as he tackled him to ground wrapping one of his 6 necks around his mouth sealing it shut as he wrapped the rest of his body around him keeping him restrained.

Xeno sighed. "Alright, I owe ya one." Xeno said, waving his hand, as he continued to run to the Digiegg.

"Ahh!" Kari shouted in fear as Monochromon charged towards her, Davis shouted in fear thinking Kari was going to be killed, just then Xeno grabbed the Digiegg, luckily it wasn't heavy this time around.

"Davis!" Xeno shouted and threw the digiegg at the goggle headed boy.

Davis turned and grabbed the Digiegg out of the air, before turning back to Monochromon getting in front of Kari and Gatomon. "Leave my girlfriend alone, bastard! Digi Armor Energize!" He shouted holding the Digi Egg of Courage high as it began to glow.

The symbol of courage appears in the stream of data where both Veemon and digiegg of courage appears as well

"Veemon armor digivolve to!" Veemon Said as he and the Digi egg meet in the middle of the symbol of courage.

Veemon is then encased in flames as the images of the Agumon evolution line (Agumon, Greymon, Metalgreymon, and Wargreymon) as Veemon's body change in flames, taking shape.

Then blades extended from Veemon's new body, hands, and head, freeing him from flames and revealing his new form.

"Flamedramon the fire of courage." As Flamedramon said, the streams of fire appear behind as he stand ready to fight.

Just as Monochromon was about to hit the three, Flamedramon rammed into Monochromon, knocking him over.

Flamedramon landed on his feet. Everyone looked at the newly digivolved Digimon and was surprised by his evolution.

"Armor digivolve?" Tai uttered, that he never heard of this type of Digivolving.

"What's that?" Sora asked, also surprised by this new type of Digivolving.

"Awesome." was all Xeno could utter from what he couldn't help but think was metal sight.

"Armor digivolve, huh? Against the power of my dark digivice they shouldn't be able to digivolve at all." the Digimon Emperor Said, and unlike the strange creature which brought out his angry seeing him as an invader to his kingdom this armor digivolve intrigued him.

"They're more resourceful than I thought." As he watched the screen with Flamedramon to see how he would fare against Monochromon.

Legionoid, seeing their new Ally, then fired from all six of his heads, a deluge of nearly white liquid, with only a hint of purple on the coloring, covering Flamedramon's entire body in it.

The liquid began dissolving in Flamedramon's skin

Flamedramon began to feel more power swelling inside him as his appearance changed. His armor was now a dark purple, and the spike on the trip of his nose changed to a golden color and he was emitting purple flames from his body.

Flamedramon looked over himself, surprised by the new change to not just his armor but his power as well. But he wasn't complaining.

Monochromon and throws him over his shoulder, making a massive smoke cloud from the force of Monochromon hit the ground.

After the smoke clears, Monochromon is shown in a small creator but is over-wise fine as he recovers, as Flamedramon rushed at him. "Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon fires multiple blasts of fire at Flamedramon.

Flamedramon began to leap and dodge out of the attacks; he ducked, rolled to the side, and sidestepped before he backhanded one in a tree behind him, making it explode on him, causing it to explode before one of the last ones hit him, creating a smoke cloud but the armor Digimon emerged unscathed glaring at Monochromon.

"Flamedramon go for the dark ring to break the emperor's control over him." Gatomon yelled

Monochromon roared as he charged at Flamedramon, whose right claw burst into purple flames. "Flame Knuckle!" Flamedramon shouted as he punched forward the two Digimon collided, and both stopped with their backs towards each other for what seemed like forever just then, Dark Ring on Monochromon busted into purple flames and shattered from heat, causing Monochromon to collapse, exhausted.

"And down he does." Xeno grinned.

"Crispy just how I like those dark rings." Gatomon smirked, impressed with how Flamedramon dealt with Monochromon.

"Spit Fire Blast!" Agumon roared as he unleashed a powerful purple blast of fire aimed at the Dark Ring on Tuskmon's arm just as the attack pushed him back, and the Dark Ring was destroyed with the ring's influence gone, the green digimon slumped forward.

Legionoid had two of his heads bite down on the dark ring around Diatrymon neck and ripped it apart as he went limp in his wrap as he still kept his grip on him.

Flamedramon began to glow orange just as a beam of light shot into Davis's digivice and then a small beam shot into his jacket pocket. "What?" Davis uttered he reached into his pocket and pulled out a D- Terminal opening he saw an egg icon on it. And with that Flamedramon returned to Veemon.

"This has to be the craziest day we've ever had." Xeno said as he walked up to Davis.

Davis turned to the scarred face and nodded. "Yep." That was all Davis could say before he remembered Kari was hurt. "Kari!" Davis shouted as he and Xeno rushed over to their downed friend.

Diatrymon was weakly struggling in Legionoid grasps. "You mind letting me go please?" Diatrymon politely asked.

Legionoid seeing that he appears to be in control complied as he loses his hold on the prehistoric bird digimon.

"Thank you, I never thought I would be freed to think for myself again." Diatrymon started trying to get his bearings.

"Grr." Tuskmon released a low growl, before standing up. "Ahaha, I'm free, yes." Tuskmon cheered, happy to be free from the Digimon Emperor's control, he then turned to Tai, Sora and TK. "Thank you Digidestined, I owe you all my life."

"It's no problem, just glad that you're back to normal." TK smiled.

"Yeah, it's all part of the job." Tai said with a grin.

Sora and Biyomon were checking on Monochromon who opened his eyes and shook his head. "That's a good Monochromon." Sora said, petting the Digimon on the horn.

"I'm happy you are back to normal." Biyomon said happily.

"Does this hurt?" Xeno asked, poking Kari's injured leg.

"Ahh!" Kari screamed in pain. "Yes it hurts! Stop poking it!"

"Well good to confirm that." Xeno rolled his eyes. He wanted to see how bad it was. He learned first aid from one of his aunts and he needed to assess how bad the injury was. "Judging by how bad it is, I say she'll need a cast when we get home." Thanks to Kari's quick thinking she avoided the worst of Monochromon's attack; her foot wasn't that badly burned, but it could be broken.

"Damn it Kari, we got to bandage this thing up." Davis said he looked over Kari's foot and it was slightly burned and bleeding. It could take months or even a year for it to heal. Taking off his jacket he wrapped it around Kari' foot and ankle. "There it's not the best band aid, but It should hold you over until we get you proper treatment."

Kari winced in pain before she gave Davis a soft grin. "Thanks, Davis. At least someone is trying to help me." Kari said, giving Xeno the stank eye.

"Whatever." Xeno said as he rolled his eyes he confirmed damage done and what she needed so he left her to Motomiya.

Davis chuckled at his friend and girlfriend's back and forth, then turned to see Legionoid hovering over them and hissing. "Thanks for the help." Legionoid simple nodded as he was covered in purple Aura again as another purple flash happened as he transformed back into his Trap form and then goes back into Davis pocket.

"um ok." Davis said.

"I'm still confused, where did you get that thing from?" Xeno asked.

"He got it from Izzy." TK said as Xeno just looked at him not knowing who he was talking about.

"More like taking it." Kari muttered, though if he hadn't they might been in worst position

"I was in a rush to follow you and I forgot since you suddenly left." Davis said feeling slightly offended.

"Who?" Xeno asked, eyebrows arched.

"the guy you threatened how to get into the digital world." TK said with sigh

"oh him." Xeno just shrugged.

"Who did he threaten?" Sora asked.

"Izzy." TK answered.

"You really threatened Izzy?" Tai demanded as he walked over to check on his sister.

"So what?" Xeno said not really caring.

"Actually I wonder what happened to Nobu. He said he would be right behind me?" TK said wondering what happened

"Nobu?" Tai and Sora asked in shock. "He's a digidestined?"

"Not just him, Catherine as well." Kari added, as Davis helped her stand up while supporting her.

"Catherine? How long has she been one?" Sora asked in surprise.

"She told us that she only had her digivice for a week, however she hasn't met her digimon partner yet. Like Xeno." Davis added.

"Tch, I won't be partnered with these things even if you paid me a million dollars." Xeno crossed his arms. "I'm fine on my own without one of those killers."

"What the hell's wrong with you?" TK demanded starting to get annoyed with Xeno's attitude. "Without a Digimon partner you won't be able to survive, for even two hours here."

"I'd rather die." Xeno stubbornly said. "If you all will excuse me, I'm heading home to anyone who is interested."

That when it hits Davis "We forgot about our detention!" Davis exclaimed in worry.

"So?" Xeno said.

"Jameser! You know if the new principal finds out we skipped it, we'll be booted out of the school. She nearly expelled us this morning." Davis said.

"She nearly expelled you two?" Tai asked in surprise.

"Yeah, the principal doesn't care about it if it was the first day, if you fight even once she'll expell you." Kari confirmed it. "On top of carrying a folder with ever student's information in it and saying it out loud to you and anyone else listening."

"Oh boy…." Tai said nervously, this is definitely going to be a tough year, especially if this new principle makes it tougher to use the computer lab which means they wouldn't be able to come to the digital world as often as they could.

"Um, do you think we might get detention now?" Sora asked nervously.

"Hard to say, hopefully she left for the day." Davis said.

"Alright, the suns going down, now we can relax." Patamon said, getting everyone's attention as the group saw the sun beginning to set.

"Shouldn't we be more concerned?" Xeno asked.

"No, the Digimon Emperor doesn't act after sun sets and any digimon he sends out to return to his territory." Gatomon told them.

"So if he's a kid like we were, that makes sense he has school and other things in the real world." Tai said.

"Or he just needs to sleep like everyone else." Xeno pointed out.

"That too." Tai nodded.

"You all should go to your world." Diatrymon suggested, as Monochromon and Tuskmon walked up to them. "We'll gladly help you all with any information we can find."

"Thanks though watch out for those dark rings you don't want to be grabbed by another one them." Sora said as she grabbed Kari on the other side.

"It's been great working with you Davis." Veemon offered his hand.

Davis grinned and after making Sora have a good grip on Kari before he took Veemon hand shook it. "Who says this is goodbye? I'm definitely coming back to help my partner." Davis grinned.

"Davis." Tai uttered as he walked up to his long time friend. "You did good today."

"cough" Xeno faked a cough.

"I didn't forget about you Xeno." Tai said

"Good." Xeno frowned.

"Davis, what you did today, you showed fear but that fear also gave way to you awakening the courage I've seen in you, and I believe you have what it takes to be better than me." Tai said as he took off his goggles, and presented them to Davis. "As part of the next generation it wouldn't be right for you to be going around with some broken goggles."

Davis started for second before taking them from Tai. "Tai…" Davis uttered he couldn't believe it. "Thanks." Davis said before he put them on.

"They make you look handsome Davis." Kari commented.

"Hahaha." Davis laughed sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'll send a message to Izzy, and tell him we are on our way back." Sora said, as she let go of Kari as Tai helped support his sister.

Tai looked at Kari's foot and scowled. 'What am we going to tell our mom?' Tai thought, wondering how he was going to explain Kari foot to they began heading to the gate back.

Unknown to the group they didn't noticing someone watching them leave from the forest the small figure from before watching getting a small smirk on his face "So fun will begin soon and we can settle it finally. So you better get strong and fast cause I have been very patient." the figure said.

Meanwhile back in detention, luckily their time was almost over about 10 minutes left. Izzy heard a beep in his pocket. He looked over to where Jaden was and he didn't seem to not notice as he subtly took out his D-terminal and as he went to open it only to have it taken out his hand.

He had gotten a message from Sora. 'we are on are way back.' the message said.

"Whose on their way back?" Jaden asked with his eye raised as he looked at the message.

"Ahh!" Izzy gasped, surprised the teacher appeared out of nowhere. "Um, nothing…."

"We'll see about that." Jaden said as he walked to the turning around "None of you are to get out of this room until I find out what's going on even if detention is over." jaden said. Before turning to Nobu. "Nobu, you're in charge until I get back."

Jaden than went and walked through the hallway.

"Izzy, you better tell him when he comes back, I can't stay here!" Yolei shouted. "I have damage control to take care of and no stupid secret is going to make this any worse."

"And as the moments fly by, the sidekick slowly loses her sanity after she loses what was most important to her." Sai spoke as if he was telling a story while smiling.

"Shut up Sai!" Yolei shouted as she rushed to where Izzy was and grabbed him by the collar and began to shake him. "Izzy! You better tell him! I won't take the fall all because a bunch of delinquents disappeared to another world!" Izzy couldn't reply, for he was getting dizzy because of Yolei shaking him around.

"Yolei, let go of him." Cody said, trying to reason with his friend.

"Please, there's no need to do this." Catherine added.

"Shut up!" Yolei shouted, not even listening.

"This is better than cable or watching hentai." Sai chuckled, he was enjoying every moment of Yolei's meltdown wishing he had popcorn.

"How vulgar, Sai." Catherine said not liking Sai's words.

"Enough!" Nobu said, pulling Yolei away from Izzy, how slumped to the flow with dizzy dials in his eyes. "Yolei, you're a member of the student Council, you need to keep calm."

"I… I… just… Sora… all.. Back." Izzy tried to speak but couldn't even speak because of the dizziness.

"What Izzy?" Catherine asked, bending down, making sure he was alright.

Nobu picked up the Digidestined of Knowlages D-Terminal. "Sora says they are on their way back to the computer lab."

"That's wonderful." Catherine smiled, happy her friends were returning home safe.

Just then another message appeared. "Find Nobu, and have him call his mom, Kari's hurt and she'll need medical attention."

"Kari's hurt?" Catherine gasped in concern.

"The digital world can be a very dangerous place, you can get hurt or killed." Nobu told Catherine.

"Is Jameser with them?" Yolei demanded.

"Most likely." Nobu said

"Then tell Sora, to tell him I'm going to strangle him with a jump rope!" Yolei shouted.

Nobu looked at Yolei for a couple of seconds before glancing at Izzy "Let's keep that one out, besides most likely Jaden will punish all of them for this." Nobu said to Izzy.

Izzy finally got over his dizziness. "Man, she's just as scary as Xeno, I would rather fight the Dark Masters again." he muttered before he stood up with the help of Cody and Catherine. "Our time is up, we can leave now and meet them in the computer room."

"We can't not until you tell Mr. Muto what was on that device." Cody reminded Izzy.

"You all can stay here much longer if you want." Sai said as he stood up. "I've paid my debt to society." Sai said before walking to the door and slid it open. "If you see Motomiya and Jameser, tell them I owe them for last week."

Only to run into a young man about Jaden's age, he had spiky blond hair, he was wearing a Gakuran-like outfit fastened by gold Ouroboros motifs, black pants, black ankle-high boots.

"Excuse me, is Jaden Muto here?" the young man asked.

Both Catherine and Yolei blushed at the sight of the man before them.

"No, he just left a minute ago." Sai answered, rolling his eyes. "Now if you would excuse me, I have to go." Sai said before he left the room.

"Who are you?" Izzy asked.

"Names Keith, Keith Ferman." Keith introduced himself.

"Hello Mr. Ferman." Yolei greeted finally her tone changed from sad and angry to upbeat and happy. "My name is Miyoko Inoue, but everyone calls me Yolei. Vic- well former Vice Student Council member."

Keith noticed how down Yolei's attitude had changed."It's nice to meet you Ms. Inoue." Keith grinned. "But call me Keith."

"So are you Jaden's friend, Keith?" Catherine asked.

Keith nodded. "Yes, and I'm here because the museum just discovered something that would intrigued him."

"Really?" Cody asked intrigued himself.

"Yes, he was supposed to meet me at the Museum after school, however…." Keith trailed off.

"Because of the new principal putting him in charge of us." Catherine said feeling responsible.

"Ahh, it's fine." Keith waved his hand dismissively. "The museum isn't going anywhere, besides I think he would rather be here or there than with his wife, ohh she wants to kill him." Keith chuckled, before he turned on his heel. "Anyway, I'll call him and see where he is, bye kids." Keith said before leaving the room.

"He was nice." Catherine said.

"Nice and handsome." Yolei said with a silly grin.

"Oh brother." Cody said, before turning to Nobu. "Nobu, what do we do?"

"For now let's wait for the others." Nobu said.

Meanwhile Jaden was walking through the hallways when he saw a flash of light in the computer room.

"What was that?" Dharak said

"Let's go find out." Jaden said as he went to the door to check it out before he heard voices

"Damn it, Motomiya get your sorry ass off me!" Xeno shouted in anger.

"I didn't ask to be in a dog pile Jameser!" Davis shouted back.

"Whoever has their hand on my ass, I'll kill them!" Sora shouted, then a slap was heard.

"Ow! Sora it was an accident!" TK apologized.

"My leg! Guys get off, you're hurting my leg!" Kari shouted in pain.

"Oh sorry." Tai apologized. "Oh man, Davis' jacket is gone, we have to patch it up."

Jaden cracked open the door and saw. Davis, Xeno, Kari and TK. along with them were two others he didn't meet at all.

"Damn it!" Tai said as he wrapped his jacket around his sister's foot. "Where is everyone? I thought they would still be here."

"I don't know, I'm sure Nobu and Izzy would have been here." TK stated.

"Who would be here?" a voice asked

"Oh shit." Xeno grumbled, and they turned to see Jaden. "Busted by granny hair? Oh great."

"Uh, Mr. Muto we can explain." TK said.

"How are we supposed to do that?" Xeno muttered sarcastically. "He'll think we're crazy and send us to the loony bin."

Jaden just held up a hand towards them silencing them " , and your detention has now been extended to two weeks along with Ms Inoue." Jaden said

Everyone especially Xeno's eyes widened, not because of Davis and Xeno's detention extension but the fact that Yolei was in detention. Yolei! The so called perfect rule abiding student was in detention,

"Can you repeat that again?" Xeno asked, still awestruck. "Slowly please?"

"You heard me well enough both of you are joining Ms Inoue for two weeks of detention." Jaden said "Be glad it was me and not Principal Tsubaki who caught you." he said before glazing at the others "The rest of you will also have detention as well and will be joining Nobu, Sai, Izzy, Catherine and Cody for one week of detention as well." he said

"Nobu and Izzy?" Tai and Sora shouted in shock.

"Cathy and Cody?" Kari exclaimed in disbelief.

"Hahaha.." Xeno just chuckled at what he heard. "Nobu and Yolei…? Ahahah, I wish I was there to see the look on her face! Ahaha! She's probably freaking out as we speak!"

"She did freak out just after we found out you left." Jaden muttered as he put a hand to his forehead, again feeling sorry for the girl and Nobu for having to deal with this much responsibility.

"Ahahah! Damn, little miss perfect record, detention is worth seeing her have a constant breakdown!" Xeno laughed, holding his sides.

Jaden just sighed as he glanced at Kari "You sure he's a nice guy? Cause I know your his friend but your judgment seems pretty bias to me." he asked

"At times, I even think so myself." Kari sighed, but winced in pain.

"Look, Mr. Muto, I'll gladly go to detention." Davis said, before looking at girlfriends injured foot. "But Kari is hurt, we need to get her medical attetion."

Xeno stopped laughing and became serious. "Her foot got burnt and it might be broken."

"Very well then." Jaden said as he relented "I won't pester you on what happened but all of you will come with me to the museum tomorrow, during school hours which will serve as your detention, no questions asked."

"Even us?" Sora asked, pointing at herself, she had never gotten in trouble before she wasn't picture perfect but she knew when to avoid trouble.

"Can you just let them go?" Davis asked, hoping Jaden would be lenient to Tai and Sora.

Jaden glared at Davis, which told him not to push it any further "Just follow me to the others." Jaden said

Tai just slumped. "I can't believe this, detention, my mom's going to kill me."

"Your mom? What about mine?!" Sora glared at Tai.

"This year is going to be a load of bullcrap." Xeno stated.

"For once, I agree with you." Tai said.

With nothing more to say the group followed Jaden with Davis and Xeno supporting Kari as she couldn't stand up on her own.

Sora leaned over to Tai and whispered. "I don't understand, how could Izzy and Nobu get detention?"

"I don't know." Tai shook his head. "Could be the new principle, whatever they did was something she didn't like." Tai whispering back

"Well I hope this doesn't become a recurring problem we already have enough to deal with." Sora sighed.

The group arrived at detention as Jaden opened the door, having them enter first, they saw Nobu and the others, Sora, Tai and Kari couldn't believe that their friends were in detention.

Xeno on the other hand was loving every moment, Yolei and Nobu the two so called star students of the school were in detention. Xeno was about to say something but Yolei quickly cut him off.

"You better not say something Jameser, or else I take a jump rope and choak you to death." Yolei threatened.

Xeno just arched an eyebrow. "When did you become kinky?" Xeno simply asked.

"Ahhh!" Yolei screamed so loud it forced everyone to cover their ears except Xeno and Davis who were still supporting Kari, the windows in the room began to crack and thankfully didn't shatter.

"I hate you all so much! I'm in trouble because of the Digital World!" Yolei shouted at the top of her lungs.

"Yolei!" Izzy shouted, he couldn't believe she blurted out the Digital World.

"Don't bother, Izzy." Tai said in a down tone. "He saw us come out of the computer."

"And now we're in detention as well." Sora said glaring at Jaden.

"Kari' your leg!" Catherine gasped seeing her friend's leg wrapped in Tai's blazer.

"I'm fine, Cathy."" Kari said putting on a brave face.

"Nobu, we have to get her to doctor." Xeno said. "Her leg isn't that burnt, but it might be broken."

"Detention ended awhile ago, you're all free to go, you all just need to serve your weeks of detention later." Jaden spoke up.

"Right." Nobu nodded, as he walked over to Kari and bent down to her leg. "Does this hurt?" Nobu asked, as he twisted Kari's foot slightly.

The young girl's pupils shrank in pain. "Ahhh!" Kari shouted at the top of her lungs, and finished what Yolei did and shattered the windows, everyone covered their ears even Davis and Xeno had to drop Kari on her ass to cover their own.

"Yes!" Kari shouted as she held her foot and glared at Nobu with tears in her eyes. "It hurts, are you happy now Nobu?"

Nobu recovered from nearly having his ears drums destroyed. "Yeah, it's broken, I don't think you'll be walking around for a while."

Kari lowered her head. "That means I won't be able to help you guys."

Jaden bent down at the injury looking closer at the burns. "Tell me where did you get those burns?" he asked.

"We're all busted anyway, might as well tell the old man." Xeno said his arms crossed.

"I'm only 25." Jaden said, not liking that old man jab.

"Then why's your hair as white as Albert Einstein's?" Xeno questioned.

Davis and Tai couldn't help but giggle at Xeno's joke, but Sora quickly pulled their ears making them stop.

"Mental stress could do wonders to yourself." Jaden replied, being vague, almost smirking

Despite Xeno's foolishness, Tai, Nobu, Sora, Izzy, TK, and Kari talk about the Digital World, and Kari explains who she got hurt.

"So that's it huh?" Jaden said.

"I'm surprised you aren't calling us nuts?" Tai stated, Jaden was taking the information better than a lot of them thought, most people would have thought they were crazy and were smoking something.

"Well, I was around the incident 4 years ago." Jaden lied 'Though, I've seen worse and been through scarier shit.' Jaden thought

"Incident!" Xeno growled to himself while clenching his fist.

"Myotismon." Tai, Sora, Izzy, TK and Kari said the same time.

"Myotismon?" Davis, Yolei, Cody and Catherine asked.

"Is that a digimon?" Davis asked.

"Yes, a vampire Digimon." Izzy said, but Xeno grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up again.

"What do you know about that vampire!" Xeno demanded glaring at Izzy, his pupils turning to slits.

"Jameser…" Izzy choked.

"Grr! Tell me!" Xeno shouted as he shoved Izzy into the wall forming a crack in it.

"Jameser stop!" Jaden said as he grabbed him by the hand that was holding Izzy before forcing him to let go of the kid "Obviously, something happened 4 years ago." Jaden said as he tightened his grip on Xeno's hand

"Gahh!" Xeno gritted his teeth. "Let go, old man!"

"Judging from your anger, this Myotismon must have killed someone important to you, right?" Jaden said. "A lover, a family member." he started speaking. The moment he said family member Xeno glared harder at Jaden."Ah, it was a family member, since the school records state that both of your sisters are alive and that you've currently live with your mother I have to assume it's your father." Jaden said

"I said… let… goo!" Xeno growled his glare hardening even more.

"Your glare is more like a mere pup trying to act tough in the wild trying to intimidate a full grown wolf." Jaden said, not affected by the glare as he seen and been through worse but relented anyway

Xeno was able to snatch his hand out of Jaden's grip before turning to the others, a lot of them, mostly the older kids, gave him a disappointed look, while Davis, Kari and Catherine just gave him a look of sympathy. "I will never work with the beings that killed my father, not in this lifetime or another." Xeno said, as he took out his digivice and tossed it at Nobu who caught it in one hand. "Find some other fool to play the hero, not me." Xeno said, before walking towards the door.

"Hey!" Nobu called out making Xeno turn around as he tossed the Digivice at him as Xeno caught it. "Regardless of what you think, Xeno the Digital World choosed you, like it you not it has plans for you. Destiny."

"Tch, Nobu, only fools cling to destiny." Xeno scoffed.

"He has a point." Jaden said, agreeing with Xeno which surprised him. "People should carve out their own future instead of letting destiny guide them."

"Thank you." Xeno said. "I decide my own fate, not some world made of 1s and 0s." Xeno grinned pointing at himself with his thumb. "I'll see you here tomorrow," he said before leaving.

"What a jerk." Yolei frowned, as she bent down to Izzy. "Are you ok?"

"Haa…haa… yeah…" Izzy answered. "That was the second time I got choked by him, only once he slammed me into the wall."

"Are you sure he's a great guy?" Jaden asked Kari

Kari lowered her head. "He used to be." Kari admitted. "I've known Xeno and Xion longer than I knew Davis, and Xeno wasn't as bad as he is now, sure he was prideful but more respectful."

"Listen, there's always a difference between the past, present and future. You can't your relationship with him in the past cloud your feelings with him in the present right now cause that's just being Bias, it's his decision after all, he might change in the future but we'll see." Jaden said

"Then you should have seen him in the Digital World, like it or not, he actually had our backs despite how much of a jerk he was." Davis said. "He risked his life to get the Digiegg of Courage to me which saved us."

"One act doesn't change anything." Jaden said "After all I would know that."

"Of course you would." Dharak whispered. "That's an understatement you know."

"Speaking of which, do you have a toy with you?" Jaden questioned.

"Oh you own it?" Davis asked as he took the toy out of his pocket. "It turned real once we were in the Digital World, it really saved us." holding it out for Jaden.

"Really how so?" Jaden said in a fake surprised voice trying to gauge what exactly they know about trap Bakugan before deciding what to tell them as calmly as he could grab his friend.

"Well It or maybe he/she turned into a giant multiple headed lizard." Davis said, trying his best to describe what happened.

"You mean a Hydra?" Nobu asked the description reminding him of Greek monster

"hum, Davis, a little help?" Kari asked, trying to refrain from yelling, trying to be very patient with how everything had to be explained to catch everyone up.

"Oh I'm sorry Kari!" Davis said as he helped his girlfriend back up

"And it gave the digimon a power boost with liquid it spat out." Tai added picking up where Davis stopped.

"Really." both Jaden and Izzy asked at the same time both intrigued by information though for different reasons.

"Yeah, they are able to beat back 2 champion level digimon on their own without digivolving." Sora added in.

Davis had helped Kari backup while apologizing to her for dropping her on the ground. "I'm sorry for dropping you." Davis apologized sheepishly.

"It's ok." Kari said as she sat down on one of the chair's. "I'm sorry for screaming." she said feeling a little embarrassed before looking at the windows. "Principle Tsubaki, is not going to like what happened to the windows."

"Oh great, more detention!" Yolei almost shouted, but refrained in fear, breaking another one.

"Don't worry I know someone who can get this fixed before tomorrow she won't know anything happened." Jaden said knowing with their gear they can easily fix it which will save them headache.

"Let's talk about this later." Davis said, as kneeled down to Kari's foot. "We need to get Kari, to a doctor now."

"Yeah." Tai nodded in agreement, however he wasn't sure how to explain this to his mom.

Jaden debated for a second weighing the pro's and con's of what he was going to suggest then he made a decision. "I know someone who can help with that."

That got the kids attention. "Really?" Tai and Davis asked at the same time.

"My wife is trained as Doctor and we keep some medical supplies at home for emergencies around house." Jaden half lied since yes they do have supplies but not exactly reasons he said

"Your wife can really help me?" Kari asked in a hopeful tone.

"Yup she saw and treated plenty of bone fractures." Jaden nodded.

"Well I'm going to ask what at least some of us are thinking. What's the catch?" Nobu asked, knowing he was not offering this help for free.

Jaden shook his head in response. "No catch, Kari is my student and I can't let a student stay injured on my watch." answered

"I'm heading home." Yolei said her shoulder slumped; she knows what awaits her at home and just wants to get it over with.

"Yeah I should get home as well." Cody added not wanting to make his mom and grandfather worry about him.

"That's fine I only have enough room in my car to carry four people with me anyway." Jaden said

"That's ok." Izzy said, waving. "I'm going to stay behind and contact the others about what has happened." Izzy also wanted to run a few checks to see if he can gather any more information since something is bothering him about what happened today.

"You should head back to Xeno's house Catherine." Kari suggested.

"But Kari, you're my friend, I don't want to leave you." Catherine said she didn't want to leave her friend, she wanted to make sure Kari would be well.

"You're not besides knowing Xeno there's a good chance he didn't head straight home so best you go home to let Xion know everything is fine." Kari said to her friend.

"Same for you TK you don't want to worry your mom and you can fill in Matt on what happened today." Kari said to TK who nodded knowing she isn't going to take no, TK walked to the door before turning to the others.

"I'll see you all later." TK said before he after the room.

That left Davis, Tai, Kari, Sora and Nobu

"If you don't mind I would like to join you all because like Mr Muto I have my own responsibility to watch over the students and safety." Nobu said to them as he sent Jaden a look.

"That's fine I will cover for you and Kari and call your mom to tell her you two came over for a study session at my home so she doesn't worry." Sora said knowing her Mom isn't going be back tonight so their no risk to it as she gives Tai a smile.

"Ok." Tai said, smiling back.

"I'm staying." Davis said in a firm tone before turning to Kari. "No ifs ands or buts, I want to make sure you're 100%"

Kari rolled her eyes but also gave Davis a small grin. Davis wouldn't leave the side of his friends, especially her.

"I'm going as you can guess to watch out for my sister." Tai added

"Alright then I'm going to make a call back home so my wife has everything ready when we get there and then I will car up to the gate and pick you guys up. So you all grab what you need to take with you and meet me by the gate." Jaden said as he pulled out his phone as he walked out of the room.

"You really think his wife can fix my foot?" Kari asked Nobu, in an uncertain tone.

"That is part of reason I'm going to make sure she knows what she doing and doesn't cause irreparable damage to you." Nobu said

"Yeah, your mom taught you medical skills, so you'll be a better judge than the rest of us." Davis said with only another one who knows as well as Xeno, since one of his aunts was a doctor who taught him basic medical treatment.

"Alright I'm gonna run and grab our stuff. Davis, can you stay here with Kari?" Tai asked

"Wow, I'm surprised you're leaving me alone with Davis, while I'm defenseless?" Kari said with a sly grin.

Tai's eye twitched before he huffed huffed. "Ok, you've been hanging out with Davis and Xeno too long."

"or it could be Xion." Nobu pointed out making Tai sigh.

"I will be back in a few minutes." Tai said leave the room with Sora heading for the door as well.

"I'll be heading home." Sora said before turning to Kari. "Get a better little sister, we're going to need everyone in order to stop the Digimon Emperor." She said before she left the room.

"Nobu, where are you going?" Davis asks to see the student body president going for the door.

"I actually had something that needed to be taken care of before we got caught in a situation so I'm going to take care of it before we leave." Nobu said simple

"But everyone else is gone for the day?" Kari pointed out.

"Never said I needed anyone here to do it." Nobu said, closing the door behind him.

"You know sometimes he's very stra-" Davis was about to say as Kari pulled him towards her and kissed him.

Davis eyes widen for a moment before he melts into the kiss returning it as two go at it for a with Kari pushing her body into Davis mushing their chests together as Davis helps her keep her balance on chair keeping it tipping over as two go at for a minute before breaking away needing air.

"Sorry I should have asked but I kinda needed that." Kari said with blush on her face with weak smile from her implosive action

Davis just chuckled, face just as red while shaking his head. "I'm not complaining." Davis said, a kiss from Kari is something he never complains about, especially one that passionate. "Yeah, after today I can understand."

Kari lowered her head and lost her smile almost like she was ashamed about something. "I'm sorry…."

Davis arched an eyebrow. "Why? What are you sorry for?" Not understanding what Kari was sorry about.

"For keeping the Digital World a secret, it just-"

"You thought I would think you're crazy or lying. I get it, something that can't easily be explained is something that needs to be experienced, " Davis said, understanding Kari's reasoning.

"Yeah Davis I promise you next chance we get I'm telling you everything." Kari said.

"You mean like Myotisguy." Davis ask knowing something big happened with Digimon and relates to Xeno and not just him, Davis and his family were held hostage by Digimon.

Kari's eyes hardened hearing that name, her grip on him tightened slightly "Yes." Kari coldly said making it clear she had her own connection to

Davis gently took her hand and rubbed it. "If you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to." Davis said, seeing that it might have been too much for Kari to talk about.

"No you NEED to know him just not now, later it's important especially to Xeno and me." Kari told him.

Davis nodded, seeing the pain and firmness in Kari's eyes. "I'm all ears right now if you want?" Davis said, pulling up a chair in front of Kari.

Kari looked into his eyes and saw his honestly and couldn't help but get smile "Alright it started with-"

"I'm back." Tai said as he walked in followed by Nobu startling the two as Kari accidentally slammed her injured foot into the ground

Tears fell from Kari's eyes as she turned to the two with those teary eyes showing frustration. "You know you don't need to announce it to us coming in!?" Kari said while gritting her teeth, trying to hold back a scream.

"It's something difficult that some people need to learn." Nobu said looking at Tai who was hold his, his sister and Davis stuff

Tai rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, anyway, Jaden told me that he's ready." Tai said, however, he had arrived back a minute before Nobu had returned and had heard their conversion. He knew Kari at her core felt responsible for everything had happened 3 years ago feeling survivors guilt for those who lost love one's or their lives themselves which had grown worst as years went on and her understanding of what happened those days grew, especially Xeno feeling like she was responsible for his dad's death and how he turned out now.

Davis turned to Kari and smiled. "Well, let's get that leg treated, don't want your mom killing Tai now would we?" Davis joked, as he got up from his seat, turning around and kneeling in front of Kari, the brunette girl gave a soft smile as she got on Davis's back, before the maron boy stood back up and placed his hands under her legs to support her.

Kari smiled and laid her head into the back of Davis's neck finding it comfy. "Like a pillow." Kari sighed softly, nuzzling against him which made Davis chuckle.

Tai was about to speak but Nobu placed a hand on his shoulder, getting Tai to turn around. Nobu shook his head.

"Let the two have this from what was told I think they earned it." Tai thought for a moment and released a sigh knowing he was right. "Alright let's head to the main gate, Mr Muto should be ready by now and should be waiting for us." as he lead way to gate

"Right." Davis nodded following and Nobu.

With that the four left to the front of the school when they made it to the and saw a black car. The team walked over to Jaden who was leaning against it.

"About time you got here." Jaden said. "There's enough room for you 4 to ride along, three in the back and one riding in the front with me."

"You take the front, Nobu." Tai offered wanting to sit close to his sister.

"Fine." Nobu said getting in front as rest in the back with Kari being put in the middle with Davis and Tai sitting on either side of her.

"Alright, hold on." Jaden said, turning the key, as the car engine roared to life as he put into drive. And with that they began to drive away.

After a few minutes of driving a awkward silence was felt, Davis decided to break it. "So umm… Mr. Muto, where do you live?" Davis asked.

Jaden looked at Davis through his rear view mirror. "Call me Jaden kid, we aren't in school and it makes me feel older than I am. And my house is a bit on the outskirts of the city luckily I know a shortcut to get there faster so it should only be another 10 minutes." Jaden said.

Davis nodded, and for the next 10 minutes they were now on the outskirts of the city along a cliff line overlooking the ocean. The gang looked at the surroundings, it was the outskirts of the city, they saw rocks, grass they could see the ocean as the waves crashed against the rocks.

They then see a house sitting on little ways away from the cliff though calling it house might be underselling it cause it was quite large being two stories tall.

There was also a dragon statue on the front lawn. To the right was a large forest. And on the left was a large garage. Overall besides the dragon statue, it was your average-looking house near a forest and the ocean.

Tai just whistles at the sight. "Nice place you got here." Tai said.

"And a good view of the ocean." Kari said, thinking it would be romantic seeing the sunset over the horizon.

"How long have you been in Odaiba in order to build this?" Davis asked, he knew it had to have taken a few years and a lot of money to make a place like that, and it looked to be worth the patience and every penny.

'It would be a good place for Kari to spend time together.' Davis thought.

Jaden glanced at the rear-view window before answering. "1 year." he answered, shocking everyone. "I've just recently move here from Tokyo."

"It's a lovely home, and a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city." Nobu said, impressed as he looked at the home.

"Thanks, my wife and friends loved it too." Jaden answered.

They drove up to the driveway which was a cleared up dirt path. Turning off the car, and putting it in park and unlocked the doors. Jaden and Nobu were the first and shut the doors behind them. Tai stepped out from his side and shut his door, while Davis got out on his and helped Kari out and once again gave her a piggyback ride, Davis not having a choice kicked the door shut while trying to not double over with Kari on his back..

"Hey, watch how you kick." Jaden told Davis.

"Sorry, do you want me to keep your door open then?" Davis asked sarcastically.

Jaden just rolled his eyes and gestured for the four well three since Kari was riding Davis' back. "Come on, I called my wife ahead of time, so she should be all set up." Jaden explained, as he walked up the stairs with the group following behind.

They came up to the wooden door that had a craven dragon spiraling around with its head in the center with its eye red and narrowed as if it was glaring, daring anyone who even came to the door to open it.

"Nice door." Davis said, thinking the door was cool.

"Did you carve it?" Kari asked.

"Nah, my wife did, it's one of her family's talents." Jaden shook his head before taking out a pair of keys and he unlocked the door.

"Age before beauty." Tai said with a cheeky grin.

Jaden turned around and glared at Tai. "I can always give everyone more detention because of that joke?"

That immediately got Tai to shut his mouth, as Jaden walked into the house. "Honey, we're here." Jaden called out, the group followed after and they were surprised by the inside.

In the living room was a long red couch and a matching chair on the side. It also had a long table in the middle of the room with a TV at the very end of the room.

There were row after row of books on the shelves and on the side was a replica model of a T-Rex skeleton as well as a model of a Dragon on the desk across the shelf.

"Woah…" Davis uttered his jaw dropped.

"You can say that again." Tai agreed, jaw also dropped at the view.

"You must be paid well, for you to have all of this." Kari said as she looked around the house.

"That's because we all pitch in." a female voice said, as a young woman with long flowing orange hair and light green eyes, she wore a light green dress that stopped at her kneecaps under a lavender jacket.

"Woah…" Tai and Davis said as they looked at and how beautiful she was, however Kari smacked Davis in the back of his head.

"Ow!" Davis yelped before looking at Kari. "What was that for?" he asked.

Kari just glared at him before closing her eyes and turning her head. "Nothing." Kari huffed.

Alice seeing this just chuckled. "Sorry a lot of people tend to have this reaction when they first meet me." Alice said before sighing

"You're accent? Are you Russian?" Nobu asked.

"I'm ½ russian and ½ japanese." Alice answered. "But I was mostly raised in Russia."

"Now that's a combo." Tai said.

At that time Sora was in her room when she suddenly felt angry. "I don't know why but I'm going to kick Tai's butt tomorrow." Sora grumbled, she didn't know reason, but she felt like hurting Tai for something he did or said.

"Umm, Alice can you please just check the girl." Jaden said.

"Sure, whatever." Alice said as she rolled her eyes. 'It's amazing, when girls hit on him it's fine but if guys hit on me, it's awful.' Alice thought as she walked over to Davis and Kari. "Let me take her to the next room, it's a lab and a clinic mixed into one."

Davis nodded as Kari got off his back and stood on her good leg, Alice picked up Kari in the bridal position which surprised the girl by how strong the woman was. "You three can stay here, I'm sure my husband has something to tell you." Alice said as she took Kari into the next room over.

Davis just watched as the two girls walked away, he wanted to go and he could tell Tai also wanted to follow as well, however they both decided against going knowing Kari would be fine.

"What did your wife mean?" Tai asked.

"Hmm, well, since you and a lot of others are in detention, Ms. Tsubaki told me to take you all with me to the Museum tomorrow." Jaden answered.

"So all of us are going to the Museum?" Tai said, not happy he always thought the museum was incredibly boring.

"Consider it a new experience for you all and before you ask yes by all I do mean everyone who got detention today and potentially anyone who gets it tomorrow." Jaden answered, seeing Davis had a look of wanting to ask a question.

"Well, it looks like we're all in for a big headache tomorrow." Davis knowing pain is coming tomorrow.

"Come on, museums aren't that bad." Nobu told the two.

Davis just gave Nobu a look and basically said it all.

"I wasn't talking about the museum I'm talking about getting both Xeno and Sai to go and not cause some form of trouble." Davis said.

"ahh sorry your right and then Yolei who is on the path against Xeno for costing her the position of vice president as she would put it." Nobu said crossed his arms and nodded.

"Wait when did that happen?" Tai asked shocked

"When Kari, Davis, Xeno and TK entered the digital world, I would have to guess one of the orange beams flew out gate into town right past Kanako who came into computer lab blaming everyone in there for it which how everyone got detention and when Yolei tried to defend herself she lost her position as vice president on spot."

"Damn, I'm sorry to hear that." Davis said he and Yolei might not get along often but he knew how much Yolei worked to get to where she was in the school. It would be like if he was forced to quit their soccer team it would be devastating.

"Hmm." Tai hummed. "5 new digivices? Davis, Xeno, Yolei, and Cody all have one. But what about the 5th one?"

"No idea." Nobu shook his head. "But it has to be someone that goes to our school."

Jaden decided to get them all back on topic. "Anyway, you all met Keith right?" Jaden asked

Davis and Tai shook their heads, not sure who Keith was. "I have, he mentioned that he wanted to show you a find." Nobu said.

Jaden nodded. "And since I'm watching you all, might as well show you. But I'm not looking forward to watching Xeno and Sai."

"Xeno might like it, his dad was an archeologist and a scientist, he practically grew up in a museum." Davis said.

"I doubt that, but I'll take your word for it." Jaden said.

At that time Alice had Kari sitting on a cot in the lab. Kari was surprised by how advanced the lab looked, it was almost like something out of the future. "I've never seen a lab like this, only in science fiction." Kari commented, before she winced in pain.

Alice had rubbed Kari's foot, determining how bad it was. "It's broken, and but the burns aren't too bad, a little ointment and no stress on your foot and it should be as good as new." Alice told Kari

Kari nodded but she gave a sad expression. "Thank you."

"Are you ok?" Alice asked.

"Yeah, but it's just." Kari cut herself off. "There's something me and my friends are going to have to do, but if I'm walking around in a cast. I'll be useless."

Alice looked at the young girl. "You know, Jaden told me about this Digital World. You don't need to hide it." Alice said in an understanding etone.

Kari looked at the young woman, feeling dumb. Of course Jaden would have told his wife, the woman who was supposed to help her. "This is just a reminder that the Digital World can be a very dangerous place, I'm lucky to even walk away with my foot at all" Kari said, but then realized that she made a joke without trying.

"Ehehehe. Alice chuckled. "That's a good one." Alice liked Kari and saw her daughters in the girl herself. "I'm going to do something, but I want you to keep this a secret ok." Alice smiled, holding a finger up to her lips.

Kari looked at the red-head for a second, but then nodded. Alice gave her a soft smile, as the red-heads hands began to glow a soft white. Kari's eyes widened in surprise, she had never seen anything like this before.

Alice then placed her hands on Kari's foot, the chestnut hair girl felt the pain slowly leave her foot. And to Kari's shock and amazement, the cuts and the black burn vanished. After a few minutes, her foot looked as good as new.

"Stand up, and hop on it." Alice said before stepping back.

Hesitating a little at first, Kari placed her foot on the ground which was cold. But she didn't feel pain at all, she put her full weight down on it which made the young girl smile before she hopped on it a few times.

"It's better!" Kari said with a big grin, she couldn't help but feel happy. She didn't know what Alice did it but it didn't matter.

Kari stopped hoping and turned to Alice before giving the older woman a big hug. "Thanks, you really helped." Kari smiled completely grateful to Alice.

"Your welcome, now don't tell anyone what I did, alright." Alice said

Kari lowered her head, she didn't really want to keep secrets from her friends especially Davis, but she owed Alice for helping her. "I promise, my lips are sealed." Kari smiled while making a zipping motion on her lips.

Alice giggled. "Now you run off and join your boyfriend and brother and you better get ready for going to the museum tomorrow." Alice said

Kari nodded before walking away as she stopped mid step. "What you did do, it's almost like magic. But that can't be possible." Kari shook her head.

"I'll tell you when the time is right and by that point you would no longer have to keep it a secret alright." Alice smiled

Kari nodded before she left the room to see the others.

"She's a good kid isn't she?" a voice said to Alice.

"Yep, she's full of light, almost no darkness inside her at all." Alice said, having been in the room with Kari for a bit she could see a strong power within the girl, a powerful light.

"But you could feel a power coming for the others too? Especially her mate." the voice said.

"Hmm, yeah." Alice said she could feel a power deep within Davis but it was only faint as if it was waiting to be unleashed at the right time, however that was a topic for another time. "Come on Hydranoid, let's go see them off."

A few minutes earlier, Davis, Tai and Nobu were sitting on the red couch while Jaden was explaining what he'll be giving them for assignments while they were serving detention.

Just then Kari entered the room with a big grin. "Tai, Davis," Kari called out, getting the three boys' attention, they were shocked to see Kari standing up on her own, and her foot was completely healed.

"Kari!" Davis and Tai shouted as they both jumped off the couch and rushed to her side.

"Your feet it's better." Tai said, completely astounded.

"It's not broken anymore?" Davis asked.

"Nope." Kari said, stretching out the P. "See?" Kari said as she began to hop on her foot showing she was indeed better.

Alice then walked in the room and saw Kari showing off her newly healed foot to her friends. Jaden looked at Alice who nodded.

Tai turned to Alice and bowed. "Thanks for helping, I owe you big time." Tai said, grateful to Alice for healing Kari, and from keeping him from feeling his mom's wrath.

"You're welcome." Alice said.

"How did she do it Kari?" Davis asked out of curiosity.

"It's a secret between girls Davis, my lips are zipped." Kari grinned, making a zipping motion with her fingers.

"Hahaha." Davis giggled, but he understood and decided not to prie, before he turned to Alice. "Thanks for helping Kari.

"No problem." Alice nodded.

"Ok, now that's over. I should get you all home, your parents are probably worried." Jaden said. "Remember after School, we'll be taking a bus to the museum."

"Right sir." Nobu said, knowing that he'll drag Sai to the bus after school.

"I'm going to the Museum as well." Alice said. "I want to see what Keith has found."

"Oh joy." Jaden muttered.

"What was that?" Alice demanded glaring at Jaden.

"Umm, nothing honey." Jaden said, waving his hands defensively.

"Alright kids see you all later." Alice said with a smile that was like that of an angels.

"Oh… see you later Ms. Muto." Tai said with a small wave.

"Yeah, look forward to seeing you again." Davis also waved.

However Kari grabbed both Tai and Davis by their ears making them yelp in pain. "Kari, let go!" Tai shouted.

"Why always the ears?" Davis questioned.

"Come on! She's married, you bakas." Kari said as she dragged the two to the door.

Nobu couldn't help but chuckle as he followed them. Leaving only Jaden and Alice.

Alice turned to Jaden who had a hardened expression. "Are you jealous?" Alice asked her husband.

"Whatever do you mean?" Jaden scowled

"Oh my god, the Supreme King, is jealous of a kid and a teenager showing affection to me." Alice couldn't help but giggled.

Jaden forcefully grabbed Alice before he lifted her head by the chin, so that her eyes were looking straight at him. "You seem to have forgotten who you belong to, don't you?" Jaden asked with a smirk.

Alice frowned before she pushed Jaden away. "I belong to no one, not even you. Unlike you, who chases after every girl you see and every girl who chases you. I'm faithful, so look who's calling the kettle black?"

Jaden just looked at Alice for a moment before smirking as he reached out to her and caress her face. "That's not true at all, you do belong to me. Every part of you belongs to me." Jaden snarled

Alice just grinned before shaking her head. "Just go take those kids home, dragon boy." Alice said before walking away.

Jaden just looked at his wife's retreating form before smirking. "Playing feisty and hard to get huh?" Jaden smirked before he turned around so that he could drive the kids home.

In his control room Digimon Emperor was looking over footage of battle with DigiDestined with two different images one showing the armor digimon the other showing the creature or Hydra as he will label it for now until he can gather more information on it.

"Interesting armor digivolve that can bypass my black digivice lock on digivolving and this Hydra that empower digimon so a couple rookie's could hurt a champion." He could help but be intrigued by these events even the Hydra who intruders in his world could prove to be useful even after it is disposed of.

"umm Master shouldn't you shouldn't head home it's getting late." a meek voice said as emperor didn't even bother turning around knowing who it was.

"I'm studying our new foes, things are about to become interesting." the Digimon Emperor said as a meek voice came closer revealing a green worm like Digimon.

"oh alright umm what's a foe?" the worm asked innocently

"Our Emperor has found a worthy challenge to test his power against unless we are using too big words for you?"said a female voice just outside room. "If you don't mind me offering a suggestion on how to restrain and learn about your foes my Emperor? " the voice as few new images appeared on his screen as his smile grew.

"Yes I can see how this will play out." Digimon Emperor said as he began typing to assemble this plan and finalize the details.

With worm looking at him in concern while looking at his master before turning to voice only see she already left.

Meanwhile Xeno was in his room, which is a fairly large room painted gray. His bed was queen size on it were sheets with pickaxe patterns on them and a white blanket. On the wall were a few posters, from Dragon Ball, to One Piece and Naruto and most of all Indiana Jones.

On the far side of the room was a deck with a black computer with a matching monitor, the deck had a second shelf that had a laptop on it. On the side of the desk was a bookshelf that had many books, most of them about science or archeology.

"Hmmm." Xeno hummed, as he laid on his bed with his hands behind his back. The young Jameser had gotten home about 20 minutes ago and his mom was pissed at him for not only getting detention again, but almost getting expelled. All he could really do was apologize and serve out his sentence, but that wasn't the only thing on his mind.

The scarred-face boy reached under his pillow and pulled out his digivice, he still couldn't make heads or tails of why he even had the thing. How was he supposed to work with the monsters that killed father and scared him not just mentally but physically as well.

Xeno ran his finger along the scar on his right eye, even after 4 years, he could feel the hot sensation of Myotismon's lightning attack brushing against his face. Xeno just sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "Mankind's origins, how did some of the ancient people even learn or build what we even use today? Did other worldly beings teach us? From a world that is beyond our sight of comprehension? It is our job as Archeologists to find out the truth." Xeno said, quoting his father's words.

Xeno had heard these theories, many people believe extraterrestrial beings help shape mankind in its infancy. Akator, El Dorado, Atlantis, the Mayan Pyramids, Egyptians. Like many before him, his father had spent his life trying to figure out these questions. One time he told him and Xion that it was possible that creatures could exist in what they called cyberspace, and both him and his sister dismissed the idea even when he showed them an old book he found on one of his travels.

"Book…." Xeno said as he got up from his bed, and walked over to the bookshelf. He scanned along the books until he found an old black book. He pulled out the book and opened it, inside was a language that no one knew. Many thought that there wasn't a connection to anything. Until his dad found them linking each character from the book to somewhere in the world, and revealed that creatures from a world made of data had shaped humanity's past.

"Father, is the Digital World what you were looking for?" Xeno asked himself. "I need to show this to Izzy and Nobi later." He needed answers to why those creatures are here and did they really interact with ancient humans, he needed to know for his father's sake and his.

Just then a knock came from the door. "It's opened." Xeno said not taking his eyes off the book.

The door opened revealed a little girl who was around Cody's age, she had dark blue hair and golden eyes, she wore light blue pajamas with white socks. "Hey big brother." the girl said.

"Hey, Xia." Xeno said not taking his eyes off the book. "How are you feeling?"

"A little better." Xia said. "What cha doing?" she asked, curious

"Thinking…" Xeno answered.

"About what?" Xia asked

"Well, something happened today. And I think it might help us with Dad." Xeno answered.

"Really?" Xia asked with a hopeful smile

Xeno turned to Xia and gave her a genuine smile, walked over to her and placed his hand on Xia's shoulder. "Yeah, Dad's notes and research might be right." Xeno said.

"Cool, that means we can find out if aliens did interact with mankind." Xia said with excitement.

Xeno nodded, however, to both of their shock. Xeno's computer which began to glow dark purple. Xia hid behind Xeno who glared at the screen of his computer.

"Xeni, Xia what's going on?" Xion asked as she and Catherine walked in after seeing the dark purple light in the hall.

The four kinds just watched as something seemed to be passing through the screen. "What the fuc-" Xeno didn't get to finish as the dark purple light enveloped the room itself.

The next day, after school was finished, everyone met with Jaden by the bus among them was Xion much to everyone's surprise and Jaden's confusion.

"Excuse me Ms. Jameser, but why are you here?" Jaden asked.

"Who else is going to keep Xeni in line?" Xion asked with a cocky smile. "Also, I was told you were going to the museum for a new exhibit, I couldn't resist, if my father was around he would be giddy to see it too."

Jaden rolled his eyes. "I see, does anyone else have any surprise guests for me that I should know that would come with us or meet us at the museum?" Jaden asked

The backpack that Xeno had brought began to move on its own. "Let me out of this thing you disgusting human!" a squeaky voice said.

"Shut up!" Xeno hissed.

"What was that?" Izzy asked

"Nothing." Xeno said with a glare. "But I do have something, I demand you look at it later, Izzy."

"Okay, let's get on the bus then." Jaden said.

"Wait up, we're coming too." a voice called out.

They turned to see three young women, two adults and one teenager. The first was a young woman with long flowing dark blue hair and light green eyes. She wore a dark purple jacket over a yellow top with a purple tube skirt and black slippers.

The second woman had waist-length silver hair and like her oldest son red eyes, she wore a white and pink shirt, black pants and white sandals.

The female teenager has mid-length silver white hair and light blue eyes like her younger brother, she wore a yellow top with a matching yellow skirt with brown mid heel sandals.

"Mother, Haruka? What are you doing here?" Nobu asked

"I could be asking the same thing, mom?" Xeno asked.

"Yeah, what are you doing here?" Jaden asked more specifically to Nobu's mother.

"What, I can't see an old friend?" Sakura asked Jaden.

Everyone just looked at both Sakura and Jaden before one of them decided to cut the tension down. "You two knew each other?" Xeno asked

"We were co-workers." Jaden said

"I remember, you mentioned some kinda new work?" Xeno's mom said to Sakura, before turning to Jaden. "It's nice to meet you, Sango Jameser, and I'm sorry for anything my son did yesterday."

"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Jameser." Jaden said as he and Sango shook hands, Jaden noticed how firm Sango's grip was. "Damn, what a grip you have."

"Don't let her fool you, Sango knows how to throw hands, it's been like that since the two of us were kids." Sakura jokes. "It's how she actually met Xeni."

"My husband, Xeno the second." Sango clarified, before turning to her childhood friend.. "And please don't bring up that story, I'm embarrassed to talk about it."

"Great." Jaden said as they stopped shaking. "Well, let's go to the museum already."

Without needing another excuse everyone boarded the bus. Everyone began to take their seats. Davis and Kari in one, Tai and Sora, Cody and Izzy, Yolei was sitting by herself as she looked out the window in the distance, seeming kinda disconnected from what was going on around her. Nobu was also by himself as well. Sakura sat with Sai to make sure he behaved much to the delinquent's dismay. Catherine sat in the middle of the bus alone until.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" TK asked.

Catherine looked up at TK. "sure." Catherine said, as she scooted over TK and sat down.

Sango sat in front of the bus along with Haruka who sat across from the older woman.

And finally sitting in the very back were Xeno and Xion. the older twin placed the bag in the middle of the two. "We have to tell someone Xeni." Xion whispered..

"First off, don't call me that!" Xeno said, holding up a finger. "Second, we will but not now."

"Why didn't you just keep it, home with Xia and her babysitter?" Xion arches an eyebrow.

"I already lost dad to one of these things, you really think I would leave Xia alone with one of those things?" Xeno argued.

"Let me out!" the voice inside shouted from inside the bag, and began to move around. Xeno and Xion grabbed the bag to stop it from moving.

'I knew I should have shot this thing when I had the chance.' Xeno thought about gritting his teeth.

"This is going to be a looong day." Xion muttered.

Jaden stepped onto the bus, and saw that everyone was now sitting down. "Alright, this isn't any field trip, so all of you better be on your best behavior. I was given permission by not only the principal but by a few parents to crack some of your skulls/expel any of you if you cause trouble ." Jaden said, giving off the warning.

No one answered which was all Jaden needed. "We're ready to go." Jaden told the bus driver who waved his hand, and with that they began to drive away heading for the museum.

As they went along Tai and Sora turned around in their seats to Izzy "Ok Izzy how did yesterday go?" Tai asked

"I sent emails to Joe, Mimi and Matt. I got a response from Matt saying TK filled him in. I'm still waiting to hear back from Joe and Mimi." Izzy said as Tai thought for moment

"We need to get everyone together!" Tai said even if they can't give direct help, any help they can give to this next generation could be the difference between life and death.

"It might be difficult for even the next generation to do so, remember. We had the summer vacation to go to the digital world, but they have everyday lives just like us and with Principle Tsubaki keeping a tight leash on the school." Sora added.

"It'll be hard for even the younger kids to go and help." Tai nodded, Sora was right they had plenty of free time during summer 4 years ago, but with school and other things it would be difficult for the next generations.

"things might be worse than we thought I still to need run experiment to confirm it but if what I think is right then digital world is-" Izzy was about to say only to be interrupted

"Mr Kamiya, Ms Takenouchi face forward." Jaden said before his eyes looked forward

Tai and Sora turned around. "Let's talk about this later, when we get everyone together." Tai whispered to his friends.

"If Xeno was still alive he would be giddy about a new discovery." Sango said.

"Oh yeah, like a kid in a candy store." Sakura smiled while shaking her head.

They both remembered when Xeno the 2nd was alive that he would be as giddy as a schoolboy when something new was found and discovered, times the Jameser was so absorbed in his work that they would have to pull him away from his studies especially the black book he found years ago which he claimed had all the answers that Mankind needed.

Jaden turned to the two women and decided to enter the conversation. It would be a bit before they arrived at that museum anyway. "Hakura told me about Xeno Sr, I'm sorry for your loss. I heard he was a fantastic scholar." Jaden said to Sango.

"Yeah… he was…" Sango trailed off, lowering her head before picking up. "Before he passed, he found a book that made him think that humanity had been guided by creatures from another world, only they were made of data."

Jaden looked at Haruka who shrugged. "He never told me." Hakura answered honestly, this was the first time she had heard of it, her old friends had been keeping something from her and she would have to ask more about it later.

"Any let's drop it." Sango said she didn't want the day to be about talking about her deceased husband, even if this trip was for detention, she was going to enjoy her time out.

"Thank Kami." Sai muttered, he was getting annoyed with the adults.

The bus finally made it to the museum and when Jaden and everyone came out. Jaden was surprised by what he saw.

"That's odd." Jaden said.

Blocking the Museum's entrance was a chained, in front of it was Alice and Keith and they too looked confused.

"Keith, do you know what's going on?" Jaden asked

Keith shook his head. "Don't know, it was like this when we arrived."

"It's strange." Alice said, putting her hand to her chin.

"Well, no museum for us." Sai said, putting his input

"How about you kids look around, you find anything prehistoric or mythological. And i'll cancel detention for all of you for the rest of the weeks." Jaden said as he turned to them

"Really?!" Yolei exclaimed gleefully show her first emotion this morning. "Come on Cody, we're looking immediately." Yolei said as she grabbed Cody's wrist before pulling him away.

"Yolei! You don't don't need to drag me." Cody said, trying hard not to stubble.

"Heh, it just gets funnier and funnier." Sai chuckled, only for Hakura to smack him in the head. "Ow!" Sai shouted before rubbing the back of his head.

"Xeni, you and your friends follow them." Sango told Xeno.

"Mooom, do I have to follow Yolei?" Xeno asked, not believing what he was hearing.

"It's either follow a sweet defenseless girl, or…" Sango said with a sweet smile while cracking her knuckles.

"Alright, alright, I get the picture." Xeno said as he left to catch up with Yolei and Cody. "Bossy woman." Xeno muttered under his breath

"Wow, she reminds me of Kikyo…" Alice whispered to Keith, who nodded in agreement.

"Ahh, let's go after them." Davis frowned, knowing that if Yolei and Xeno are alone together the entire forest might get destroyed in the process.

Davis began to walk after Xeno, with Kari, Catherine and Xion following behind him. Leaving the adults and the older kids and TK behind.

"Aren't you going too?" Jaden asked the others.

Nobu shrugged, before turning to the others. "We might as well go too." Nobu said, which the others nodded in agreement.

"Hey…?" Hakura spoke up. "Where'd Sai go?"

"Oh great." Sakura face-palmed.

"I have a feeling that I know where he is." Nobu said as he looked in the direction of where the 2nd generation of digidestined walked in.

"Well, while you're looking after the younger kids. Me and the adults will look around to see what's going on around here." Jaden said

"Yes, Mr. Muto." Tai said, before he and the others followed after the kids, leaving the adults.

Jaden's expression hardened. "No one told you it was going to be closed?" Jaden asked Keith.

"No, I wasn't informed." Keith answered.

"Look a logo." Sango pointed to the door window.

The others looked at the door and saw that the logo looked like that of a dragon head with red chains. "Soahc Corp?" Jaden read.

"I've never heard of that company." Sango said.

"Neither have I, have you?" Jaden asked Sakura

"I've heard rumors of a new company doing maintenance on buildings in Japan, mostly in Tokyo and Odaiba. But this is the first time I've heard their name." she said not familiar with the group.

"And it appears that the museum is one of them." Keith said. "But no one told me, maintenance was taking place."

Jaden couldn't help but feel his instincts telling him something was wrong with this situation as he glanced around. "Ok let's get kids back on the bus for now Keith, can you see if you can get in contact with anyone you know from the museum and see if we can get some answers on their end?" Jaden asked as Keith nodded pullingout his phone.

"Why am I getting a bad feeling…" Sango said, not liking the situation.

At that time, Davis and his group caught up with Yolei, Cody and Xeno and not to their surprise. Xeno and Yolei were at eachothers throats.

"How am I to blame this time around?" Xeno shouted at Yolei.

"If you didn't vanish into the computer, I wouldn't have gotten detention! My parents were disappointed in me! And my brothers… oh they couldn't stop mocking and making fun of me!" Yolei shouted back.

"Heh…" Xeno chuckled while shaking his head. "You act like detention is horrible? Trust me woman, there's much worse fates then detention."

Cody got between them trying to keep the peace. "Come on you two, fighting isn't going to fix anything." Cody said.

"Stay out of this!" both shouted at Cody, who just stepped back. Before Xeno and Yolei went back to arguing.

"Hey Cody." Xion greeted, as she and the others walked up to him. "How long has it been going on?"

"10 minutes." Cody sighed.

"Will you too stop, arguing isn't going to fix anything!" Kari shouted, she felt bad for Yolei and how the Principle wrongfully placed her and the others in detention, but placing the blame on Xeno wasn't really a solution to the lavender girl's predicament.

"Can't we all just get along?" Catherine asked.

"Oh no, I love this drama." Sai said, stepping out of the tree line.

Xeno turned to Sai and glared. "Tch, why are you here? I would have thought you would be hitchhiking back to the city by now."

"And miss all of this drama." Sai said with a mock smile. "Never, besides it's fun to see Yolei lose her marbles."

Yolei turned to Sai and glared. "Then why don't I kick you in your marbles!" Yolei threatened

"Yolei, please just ignore the idiot." Haruka said

"Great." Sai grumbled.

Tai, Nobu, TK, Sora, Izzy and Haruka walked into view.

Sai chose to ignore Hakura as he leered at Davis and Xeno. "Now is a good time for the three of us to settle who's the strongest." Sai said, clenching his fist.

"Sai! I have better things to do than to waste my time on you." Davis said. "If I fight you, I'll end up in more trouble."

"I don't mind, I always love cracking your skull and ribs." Xeno grinned, cracking his knuckles.

As both boys were about to charge, Xion and Haruka grabbed both by their ears making them yelp in pain.

"Ahh! Why is it always the ear!" Xeno shouted in pain.

"Hakura you bitch! Let go!" Sai demanded.

"Don't you dare call me that…" Haruka said, pulling Sai's ear even more.

"Serious? You two know that if you fight, it'll affect us as well?" Sora said, hands on her hip.

"Yeah, we have a chance to get out of this problem, so stop arguing and fighting!" Tai spoke up.

"Fine!" both Xeno and Sai said through gritted teeth, and with that both Xion and Haruka let go of their ears.

With nothing more to say the group began to walk through the woods. "So what are we looking for again?" Davis asked, with his hands behind his head, he knew they had to find something prehistoric or mythological but didn't even know what counted as one of those.

"Who knows, as long as it gets us out of detention." Sai said

"The thing about Archaeology, it's not an exact science. It takes patience to find what you are looking for." Xeno remarked.

"Wow, that might be the first logical thing I've ever heard you say." Yolei said in a mocking tone.

"Tch, dad was a scholar, ancient things were his bread and butter." Xeno said. "Still, I doubt we'll find something out here today, the chances of that are very slim at mo-" Xeno said before he suddenly fell in a hole

"Wha-" Yolei didn't get to finish as she fell in as well.

The ground gave out beneath everyone else and they fell through the opening in the ground.

Jaden, Keith, Alice, Sakura and Sango walked out the front of the museum. As Keith got off the phone.

"Hmm, yes, yes goodbye." Keith said, hanging up.

"Anything?" Sakura asked.

"Last minute repairs, something happened yesterday and they want to fix it." Keith answered. "Which is odd, I didn't notice anything wrong."

"Are you sure about that?" Alice asked

"Positively, I was here yesterday, nothing was unusual and no one told me or the other employees about any damage or anything." Keith answered.

"Let's worry about that later." Sango said. "The kids come first."

"Right." Jaden nodded before looking around. "Where the hell are they?"

"Nevermind that, has anyone noticed that the T-Rex is missing." Keith said "Along with the bus."

Jaden, Alice, Sango and Sakura looked and were shocked to see that the bus was not only gone but also the T-Rex.

"Ok, that's not unusual." Sakura said, sarcastically.

"Umm, guys…" Sango said, getting the others' attention.

They suddenly heard footsteps and coming around the corner, they saw the T-Rex that was displayed at the front of the museum.

"Keith, quick get the jeep ready." Jaden shouted

Keith nodded and rushed toward the Jeep, to get it started. "I'll distract it, I'll catch up." Jaden said.

Alice, Sango and Sakura rushed to the Jeep, Keith jumped into the front he looked to see Alice hopped front while Sango and Sakura hopped in the back. Keith locked the door which made Alice roll her eyes.

"Why lock the door?" Alice shouted at Keith, it was obvious it wouldn't do anything.

"Sue me alright." Keith yelled as he stepped on the brakes

Jaden ducked under the T-Rex's jaws and made a dash to the jeep, and he coolly slid into the back with Sango and Sakura. "Drive Keith! Drive!" Jaden shouted.

Keith tried to turn the key but the jeep wouldn't start. "Come on Keith!" Sakura shouted, as the T-Rex was fast approaching them with every step.

"Come on!" Keith gritted his teeth, and the engine started and they shot forward avoiding the jaws of the T-Rex before it began to chase them.

"Sakura! What have you done this time?" Sango demanded as she looked behind them seeing the T-Rex still on their tail.

"Why are you blaming me?" Sakura asked, completely offended.

"Stop yelling!" Jaden shouted, as saw the T-Rex gaining on them. "Keith! A Little faster please!"

Meanwhile back with the kids, they were all on the ground piled on each other.

"Is this always going to happen?" Xeno asked, feeling the weight of everyone else on him.

"Ahh… I heard this area had sinkholes." Izzy groaned.

"You could have told us before we entered the woods." Tai said in pain.

"Too heavy…" Kari groaned.

"Oh mon corps endolori." Catherine said in her native tongue. Meaning oh my aching body on her back.

"Um.." TK uttered, as he saw he was on top of Catherine.

Both blonds blushed a deep red while in their current position "This is how they say, Awkward?"

"Y-yeah." TK said, turning away;.

"Who's hand is that?" Sora demanded in anger.

"Ahh, sorry Sora." Cody apologized.

"Can't we all just get up!" Yolei shouted, like Xeno she felt the weight of everyone else on her.

"For once I agree." Sai growled.

After everyone got to their feet, Sora gave Cody a light tap in the back of the head. The group saw they were in a cave network.

"Woah." Davis said surprised. "Does the museum or Jaden know about this place?"

"I'm not sure." Xion answered.

"We need to get off here." Kari said, as she looked above and saw the opening.

"I'll climb up and go get help." Tai said, as he gripped the wall and tried to climb up, but the rocks on the wall gave out and Tai fell flat on his back. "Owww…"

Sora and Izzy helped Tai back to his feet. "Nice to have you back Tai." Sora jokes.

"Walls are too steep, we can't climb them." Nobu said as he pressed his hand against the wall.

"Jeez, I figured that one out five seconds before that idiot attempted to climb out." Sai scoffed, an asshole he may be, but Sai still shows some intelligence that places him ahead of the curve he just chooses not to uses it.

"So what do we do?" Yolei asked, she still couldn't believe her rotten luck. First she got detention and now she is stuck in a cave.

Haruka took out her phone and she didn't have any bars. "No cell service." Hakura said.

"So no calling, for Sakura or mom." Xion stated.

"We can't just wait here." Davis said, before turning to a cave entrance. "Let's head down the tunnel, there may be a way out."

"And if there isn't?" TK asked for an eyebrow arched.

"That's right, it could be dangerous." Yolei said, agreeing with TK.

"Do you have any better ideas?" Davis asked TK and Yolei.

"Davis is right, us standing around is just as bad as moving forward." Izzy said.

"Xeni, where's the backpack?" Xion asked her brother.

Xeno checked his and saw the bag wasn't on his back. "W-what?!" Xeno gasped as he looked around for his backpack. "Shit! Shit! Shit!" Xeno cursed as he looked around for it.

"Xeno, what was inside the bag?" Kari asked.

"There it is!" Catherine said, pointing to the bag as it hopped away.

"Oh no you don't!" Xeno shouted as he ran towards the backpack and grabbed it before lifting it off the ground.

"Let me out of here!" the voice shouted from inside.

"Xion, I think you need to tell us what is going on." Haruka demanded m

"Xeni, we have to tell them." Xion said.

"Gahh! I hate this." Xeno growled before he walked back over to the others. "Alright, take a look for yourself." Xeno said, as he unzipped the bag and out of it sprang a black and white ball shaped creature.

"Man, you humans really know how you make a digimon feel like baggage, I thought I was going to throw up in there." the creature said irritated.

"Who gives a fuck how you feel?" Xeno said

"It's a Yaamon, a mischievous little digimon who isn't even afraid to cause trouble." Nobu said.

"That explains alot," Xion muttered

"This thing appeared out of my computer late at night, and it's been causing me problems." Xeno grumbled.

"I'm not exactly happy being dumped in your bedroom while avoiding those stupid Dark Rings." Yaamon said. "I don't need a pathetic human to be powerful, for I have lasted eons with no help."

"And I don't need a shrimp like you either." Xeno said.

"Shrimp! I am Beelzemon! The great Demon Lord! And I am no shrimp! Also I almost forgot revenge!" Yaamon shouted before he jumped at Xeno and bit down on his nose.

"Ahhh!" Xeno shouted, feeling backwards, as he tried to pri Yaamon off his face. "Get it! Get it! Get it oooofff!" Xeno shouted, as Xion, Davis and Kari tried to get Yaamon to let go of Xeno's nose, while Sai and even Yolei laughed at Xeno's misfortune.

"This is the best week of detention I have ever gotten!" Sai said wiping a tear away from his laughter

"Did he just say Demon Lord?" Tai questioned, wondering what Yaamon meant.

"Let's save that for when we get home, for now let's get out of here." Haruka said, knowing now wasn't the time for explanations.

As Xion was able to get Yaamon to let go of Xeno. "bad boy…" Xion told Yaamon, who growled in frustration as he tried and failed to escape from her grasp.

"You alright?" Davis asked Xeno who held his nose.

"Do I look alright to you?" Xeno asked.

"Sorry, standard question." Davis remarked.

That when hear coughing sound looking over to where Xion was with Yaamon repeatingly coughing as she pats his body with concern.

"What's wrong with you little guy?" Xion asked as he finally spat out a half eaten candy bar with a wrapper still on it.

"I'm not little!" Yaamon spat out as he caught his breath.

"Stupid you don't eat a wrapper." Xeno said only to take a closer look "Wait a second, that was from the secret stash in my bag?" Xeno ran to his backpack. "What the hell! My secret stash!" Xeno shouted in both despair and anger. "You ate all my candy?!"

Yaamon just huffed unapologetic. "That stuff may have been sweet, but your despair is even sweeter!" Yaamon laughed.

"You little shrimp!" Xeno shouted as he dived at Yaamon who bounced out of the way, which Xeno slammed into the ground, he quickly got up as he tried to grab Yaamon who just laughed at Xeno's attempts to even catch him.

"This is beyonding hilarious, it's almost as funny as Yolei's breakdown." Sai laughed.

"Shut up Sai!" Yolei shouted.

Nobu just looked at Xeno and Yaamon and pinched the bridge of his nose. 'The Digital World is doomed…' he thought.

Nobu nodded to his younger sister Haruka who got the message before she went forward to stop the confrontation before it got even worse. "Alright you two, break it up." Haruka said

"I take no orders from a human! Especially the sister of Nobu." Yaamon bounced up and down.

Haruka glared before she delivered a punch, knocking Yaamon into the wall which knocked him unconscious. She then turned to Xeno almost daring him to fight back.

"Grr…" Xeno growled before punching the wall, cracking the rock slightly. "I hate digimon…!"

At that time, the adults were still driving away from the T-Rex that was chasing after them.

"Can't you drive faster?" Sango shouted.

"This is as fast as it goes." Keith said.

"Then go faster!" Sakura shouted as well.

The T-Rex caught up and bumped its head against the back of the jeep, making the adults jerk forward, as the jeep bounced a bit as they continued to drive away from the T-Rex.

"Well, this is a very fine day." Jaden muttered with a sarcastic edge to his tone

Alice looked ahead and pointed to a curve. "There's a highway, just past the curve." Alice said.

Keith nodded, turning the wheel and the jeep made its way to the highway, the T-Rex away about to bite the jeep, but it crashed into the road above them which made it fall on its sides.

Skidding to a stop, the adults unbuckled their seat belts and walked over to the T-Rex. They saw its face was broken revealing its electronics.

"What do you think happened?" Sakura asked.

"Don't know? Someone will probably reprogram it most likely." Keith surmised

"Not most likely, definitely." Sango said.

"But why?" Alice asked.

"I think we better find the kids…and quickly." Jaden said "We already wasted enough time."

Back with the group, they had been wandering through the cavern for at least 15 minutes. It seemed like the cave went on forever, it was like a maze and it became even more complex as they continued to navigate through.

"Ahh… we're lost." Yolei sighed.

"Yeah, yeah… we've heard that the last 3 times." Xeno said, not exactly having a fun time either.

"It's like a maze down here, I can't even tell if we are coming or going." Sora said every path and cave looked the same. It was hard to differentiate where they came from or if they were going in circles.

"Guys, I think I Found something." Davis said, the others walked up to him and saw a skeleton.

"It's a fossil." Izzy said, walking up to it. "It's perfectly preserved."

"Indeed, which is odd." Nobu said a he glanced at it and begin inspecting it

"How can this be odd? With this I'll be out of detention." Yolei grinned, this find could not only get her out of detention but it could make her and the school famous.

Xeno held his hand out in front of Yolei, getting her to stop. "Something is off about this thing." Xeno said as he too observed it. "You rarely ever see a skeleton like this." he said as he rubbed his hand against it. "It's counterfeit." Xeno frowned.

"I have a feeling that was the case." Nobu said, trusting his instinct "But why would a counterfeit fossil be here?"

"An old movie prop?" Tai said as he grabbed the jawbone and pulled it down and it triggered something revealing a entrance to a hidden room that was revealed to everyone

"Tai what did you do?" Sora and Kari said in unison.

"I don't know?" Tai gasped backing away from the skeleton.

"Ok, is anyone getting an evil science movie vibe?" Sai asked.

"I am." Catherine said shocked to see it.

"This is crazy, how long has this been here?" Cody asked, more curious than shocked.

"This is amazing." Yolei said with stars in her eyes.

"And it's not that far from the museum…" Nobu pointed out.

The room was a large brick and stone chamber, containing various dinosaur fossils, shelves of books about mythology and Crytozoology, machines, and a central computer

The teens looked around the room in awe at everything that was in the room.

"Look at this place, it's something of the future." Izzy said, completely excited being a computer geek, being around technology like this was a dream come true.

"Look at all these books." Kari asked as she, Xion and Catherine looked at the shelves

"Mythology, Crytozoolgy and many others, whoever designed this lab has done their homework." Xion said.

"This is all very exciting." Catherine said. "However, I am confused about how this place is here."

"I could spend a week going through this computer." Yolei said, as she and Cody who seemed to be curious, as they observed the central computer.

"Don't touch it." Haruka said, walking over to the two. "We have no idea what's on it."

"Hey human, over here." Yaamon called out to Xeno.

"What do you want?" Xeno demanded, not wanting to deal with Yaamon.

Xeno looked at Yaamon who was bouncing next to a podium in the middle of the room. "Hey, everyone come here." Xeno called out to everyone else.

Everyone walked over to where Xeno and Yaamon were and they saw in some kinda black rock were multiple colored shapes, everyone who had seen them before looked like the ones Jaden had.

"Hey, aren't these like the toys Jaden showed us?" Cody asked.

"Yeah, but they are different colors." Izzy pointed, he was fascinated by toys. "Red, Blue, White, Brown, Green, Black, and Gold."

"Ok, this is weird." Sai muttered.

"Yes, what are the odds that the thing that saved us in the Digital World and the one Jaden showed some of us in class are right here in front of us?" Tai questioned.

Davis reached out to grab one but was stopped by TK. "You shouldn't touch them, we don't know if they are dangerous." TK said.

"TK, one of them saved our asses back in the Digital World, also if we show them to Jaden we might get out of detention." Davis said.

"TK, I can't believe I'm saying this. But I agree with Davis. If this is the chance I need to to get out of detention then I'm taking it." Yolei said.

Everyone looked at each other and shrugged, as they all reached out and picked a color. Tai got Red, Sora Green, Izzy Brown, Nobu Gold, Haruka Red, Sai Blue, Catherine Blue, Cody Brown, Yolei Green, Xeno Black, Xion Black, Kari White, TK White, Davis Gold.

"Huh? Doesn't look like much…" Sai said as he looked at his toy.

"Hmm." Nobu muttered as he inspected the toy he had in his hand

"Do you eat them?" Yaamon asked.

"No, you don't." Xion said

"You just ate my year's supplies of candy! How are you still as hungry as Motomiya in a sushi place?" Xeno demanded.

"Hey!" Davis shouted, completely offended by Xeno's comments.

"Well, we got something, let's get the hell out of here." Sai said.

"Yeah, mom and the others might be looking for us." Xion said "And I especially don't want to see what kind of freak lives in a place like this."

Haruka nodded. "I agree with her, this place is giving me the creeps."

"Well ladies first." Xeno gestured towards the entrance where they came.

"Oh aren't you the gentleman." Yolei said sarcastically. "I'm still going to choke the life out of you."

"You know, blaming me won't fix what that woman did to you." Xeno told Yolei. "Of course, seeing you having a meltdown regardless is a beautiful sight to see." however Xeno was shut up when Yolei punched him in the gut knocking the air out of him. Xeno held his stomach as he fell down to the floor.

"Hmph!" Yolei said whipping her hair behind as she walked away,

"Man, you really have a way with the ladies huh human?" Yaamon stated sarcastically.

"Fuck you…" Xeno weezed.

"Oh Xeni." Kari said, shaking her head.

"Maybe, you should refrain from saying rude stuff." Catherine said to Xeno as she helped him up.

"Let's just get going." Nobu said.

At that moment, an island began to rise out of the ocean, on the island was a castle on the highest point. Inside was a lab filled with complex computer systems and shelves with test tubes and jars that were filled with colored liquids.

"This power, so the Bakugan have been moved." a figure said, before turning to his minions.

The creatures growled before heading out the door which opened.

At that moment, everyone managed to found a way out of the caverns.

"Finally, we managed to find a way out." Sai growled

"For once I agree with you." Xeno said

"Sweet sunshine!" Yolei shouted with glee, spreading her arms enjoying the rays.

"I'm happy we're out." Sora said, before looking around. "But which way is the way back to the museum?"

Everyone looked around and saw that they were in the middle of the woods and they coudn't see where they were anymore.

"Great, now we're all lost." Sai said with his arms up.

"Calm down, the others must be looking for us." Nobu said, trying to pacify his brother.

"We can't just stand here, with how far we walked in that cave system we could be miles away from the Museum by now." Kari said.

"What's the position of the sun?" Cody asked.

Izzy looked up and saw the sun. "So either go straight or the back."

"Does it matter? Any direction could be even more forest." Davis stated.

"So we just walk?" Catherine asked.

"Yep…" Xion frowned.

The group began to walk aimlessly through the woods, they really didn't have no way of knowing where they were going, Haruka had checked her phone and saw they were out of range of any cell service meaning they had to be deep in the forest.

"Every direction just looks the same." Tai frowned.

"I don't want to be stuck in the woods! I'm too young to die!" Yolei walied.

"You aren't going to die woman, sooner or later granny hair and the others will show up." Xeno told Yolei.

"Don't call me woman asshole!" Yolei shouted at Xeno.

"Can we not fight and focus?" Catherine suggested hoping to avoid even more arguing.

"No, let them fight, it's entertaining to see humans at each other's throats." Yaamon said with a grin.

"You know we don't need the running commentary from the peanut gallery ." Xion said, not in the mood for Yaamon's antics.

"Indeed, now shut up or I'll knock you unconscious again." Haruka said with a glare

"Grr… just you wait until I get my true form back." Yaamon said under his breath.

Haruka glare turned into a smile. "That's what I thought." she commented

Suddenly the group felt a strange breeze that left most of them on edge.

"What was that?" Davis asked.

"The wind?" Yolei said, hoping it was the case.

"That ain't the wind." Nobu said

"Grrr… something is coming." Yaamon growled, as he felt a powerful presence approaching them.

"Tch, maybe it's something I can punch." Xeno said, cracking his knuckles.

In a flash of dark green light appear multiple monster appeared before them, the monsters looked like a cross between human and dinosaur with cybernetics, they have heads resembling a masked creature with scythed appendages

Everyone just looked at the creatures with mixtures of various emotions. Fear, surprise, awe and many others.

"Ok, those aren't digimon." Izzy said he had never seen creatures like these before and he fascinated.

"Who's willing to run?" Catherine asked.

"I'm willing too." Sora answered, knowing that without Biyomon she didn't want her chances.

"Xeno, Sai I think you both know even you two can't fight your way out of this." Davis said, he wanted to fight as well as both of them, but even he knew that it would be suicide.

The creatures didn't waste anymore time and charge forcing the gang to run for their lives, Xion reached down and grabbed Yaamon who didn't want to be carried. The group ran through the forest as fast as they could with the monsters hot on their train.

"Put me down wench." Yaamon shouted

"Sure, no skin on our part, those creatures would tear you in shreds in your current form anyway.'' Haruka said as she ran besides Xion.

"Yeah, we don't have to help you." Xion said

"Xeno, can't you make him digivolve?" Tai asked.

"Don't want to." Xeno said as he ran

"Stop being stubborn Xeno! Use your digivice." Kari shouted at Xeno.

"I don't even have it on me, I didn't think I would be chased through the woods by circus rejects." Xeno shouted back.

"Oh great, just when we need you to be useful." Yolei shouted.

The team came to a crater in the ground, alot of them jumped over it, Catherine was able to clear the landing but stumbled about before she continued run, Cody stumbled to the ground as he land but Yolei fell into the crater losing her glasses.

"Shit!" Davis shouted as he and Xeno skitted to a stop and rushed back for the two.

"Come on Cody!" Davis said, as he helped Cody to his feet as they ran.

Yolei was frantically looking for her glasses, but 3 of the monsters were about to jump on her. But the three were shot down by Xeno who was holding a black color pistol. Xeno quickly reached down and grabbed Yolei's wrist and pulled her out much to her dismay.

"Wait! My glasses! I left my glasses!" Yolei protested, as the forest was now all blurry..

"Forget them and run!" Xeno shouted, not letting go of Yolei's arm.

As the two ran, Yolei tripped over her feet and fell to the ground, as Xeno lost his grip on her suddenly the green object that she had was glowing before a vision of a green hawk-like bird of prey appeared screeching and soaring through the sky.

Yolei didn't know what it was and as the creatures were coming closer to her before she knew it she screamed unleashing a powerful hawk-like screech that sent some of the monsters flying back into the others, the others covered their ears from the loud screech.

"What the hell was that?" Xeno demanded, as he helped Yolei who was still shocked by what she had done off the ground.

Yolei's eyes widened as the green energy entered her eyes, before everything became less blurry. "What the…?" Yolei gasped as she rubbed her eyes before opening them again which confirmed what was happening. "My eyes… I can see clearly."

"Really?" Xeno questioned, as the others ran up to them. "And how exactly did you do that?"

"I have no idea." Yolei said, confused just as Xeno is.

"Yolei, Xeno." Xion said, as she approached, however she noticed Xeno looking at Yolei, his eyes slightly wide.

The monsters recovered and prepared to attack Xeno who immediately got into a fighting stance. "I'm done running!" Xeno shouted before a vision occurred where a black Wolf covered in armor howled before it leaped down a mountain.

One of the monsters leaped at the three, Xeno pushed Yolei to the side making it miss her. As he blocked a punch, before delivering a gut punch to the creature and grabbed it's arm then threw it at the others knocking them down.

Xion backflipped out of the way of two of the monsters, and landed on her feet with grace and perfection. Xion leaped and the kicked one of them in the head leading it crashing into a tree using the momentum of her landing, then swept the creature's feet making it fall to the ground a vision occurred to her as a Killer whale-like creature appeared leaping out of the ocean before it flew in the sky.

Nobu was kicked backward into two of the monsters, but he elbowed them in their stomach and ducked a side punch grabbing one of the creatures before delivering a judo throw. At that point, a vision occurred, an armored golden dragon appeared roaring high atop the mountains while lightning was striking the ground.

Cody ran from the monsters, but then tripped on the ground. The small boy rolled on his back and the two of the monsters struck Cody immediately closed his eyes and brought his hands up to his face when his arms began to glow brown, the creature's attack collided with his arms and were stopped. In Cody's vision was a brown armored rhinoceros/triceratops-like creature hybrid that emerged from the center of a vast desert and it screeched.

Cody on instinct threw his arms out and sent the creatures flying backward. Quickly getting to his feet, Cody looked at his hand confused by how he did that. "My body." Cody said, as a monster rushed at him, Cody ran at the creature before sliding through its legs and jumped back to his feet before he delivered a kick to its back. He then blocked a punch before he spun and kicked the monster away from him.

Izzy ducked underneath a kick from one of the monster's and he dodged a few more of them. Izzy found himself back up against a tree as 4 of the creatures drew near. Beads of sweat poured down the red-head's face, trying to think of a way to get out of his situation.

The creatures leaped at him and Izzy closed his eyes, waiting for the attack to finish. Izzy slowly opened his eyes and saw the monsters levitating in air, all of them struggling. In Izzy's vision in a deep forest flying among the trees was a giant prehistoric brown dragonfly, screeching as it flew by.

"What was that?" Izzy said to himself as he tried to comprehend what was going on. To him it didn't make any sense even if he was friends with creatures from another world and he had seen a lot of crazy things in the past.

Izzy shook his head as he looked at the creatures floating, the red-head blinked which sent the monsters crashing into the tree. "Prodigious…" was all Izzy could say.

Sora struggled against the monster's hold, desperately trying to break free before the monster threw her into the air, Sora screamed seeing that she was about to hit a tree. In Sora's vision, in a green blazing inferno a firebird-like creature soared through the air with grace. Sora closed her eyes bracing for impact. But the collision didn't come, the red-head slowly opened her eyes and saw she was floating a foot away from the tree.

"What the?!" Sora shouted, as she waved her arms and legs in the air. "I'm flying?" Sora questioned, she looked down and saw the creatures roaring at her from the ground. A glare appeared on her face, she was angry at the monster for hurting her and her friends, and she wanted revenge.

Without warning Sora swept down at one of the monsters and delivered a double drop kick to its head smashing it into the ground. Then two more rushed at the digidestined of love, who remember her self defense lessons from Haruka, Sora ducked under a slash and punched one in the chest, then elbowed another in the chest knocking down next the first one before she kicked another in the chest.

'I can't wait to tell Biyomon about it.' Sora thought.

Sai swept the legs of one of the creatures coming after him, knocking it off balance. Sai grabbed another one that rushed at him, sidestepping before grabbing it in a headlock then he drove his knee into it's stomach a few times before throwing it down to the ground.

"Tch, is that all you got? I fought homeless people tougher than you." Sai boasted, however karma came back to bite him, one of the creatures decked him from behind knocking Sai to the ground before grabbing him by the shirt and tossed him onto a boulder.

Sai groaned as he shakingly got back up to his feet only to see 4 monsters standing before him. Sai glared at the creatures. At that point a vision occurred. Swimming in the river was an armored alligator-like creature

"What the hell was that?" Sai said to himself out loud before the creatures lunged at him and struck him with their scythed appendges. Sai avoided them and was about to counterattack and at that point both of his arms started glowing, shocking him.

As soon as Sai hit the creatures and knocked them back, the glow vanished revealing that his arms were covered in scale-like armor and his hands now ended in claws.

"Hmm.." Sai uttered before he smirked, before looking at the creatures. "Oh, you bastards are dead." Sai said before he rushed at the monster and slashed.

Catherine ran away as fast as she could, with the monsters on her tail. She looked back to 4 of them and they were gaining fast. Catherine turned around and saw she was running right at a boulder. "Oh no!" Catherine shouted as she skitted to stop and rested her hands on the boulder, she was trapped.

The blond girl turned around and saw the 4 monsters slowly creeping towards her. Catherine had her back against the wall, her hands spread out, the four leaped at her ready to attack. "Ahhh!" Catherine shouted, in her vision was a majestic dolphin-like creature leaping out of the ocean.

Just then to Catherine's shock, she began to fall backwards as she seemed to phase back into the boulder. As the creatures smashed face first into the spot where the young girl once stood.

Suddenly Catherine walked out of the boulder dumbfounded as she looked at the boulder then down to the monster's who were groaning. "Qu'est-ce qui s'est passé." Catherine said in her native language which translates to 'what the hell just happened'

Haruka backflipped away from five of the creatures that were coming after her, and landed on her feet with grace and perfection. She was eventually cornered against a tree.

"Cornered…" Haruka muttered.

One of the monster charged at Hakura but to her surprise Yaamon appeared out of nowhere and unleashed a bubble attack which made the monster stagger a bit, taking advantage of the creature's fumbling, Hakura grabbed Yaamon in one hand and used the other to grabbed onto the enemies shoulder using the momentum to vault over the creature doing a front flip and landing on her feet gracefully on one knee before she swept the remaining monsters of their feet and landed on the ground with a hard thud.

"You're welcome…" Yaamon muttered. "And don't misjudge me, the only reason I helped is for my own survival."

Hakura didn't get a chance to answer, she turned to see the 4 monsters rushing at her. Haruka glared, in her vision was a phoenix/dragon hybrid-like creature soaring through the sky while it was raining fire around the area.

Red feathers began to cover her arms, making them appear to look like wings. Harkua looked at her arms in shock. "You humans are the weirdest creatures I've ever seen!" Yaamon shouted, surprised.

Haruka didn't even answer as she crossed her arms in an X shape before she threw them out, which sent the feathers flying at her enemies somewhere on fire and others were not.

The feathers collided with the monsters, the normal feathers impaled them making them roar in pain, the fire ones did the same only the monsters that were hit were engulfed in flames roaring as the creatures fidgeted and ran around like chickens with their heads cut off.

"Okkkk…" Haruka uttered, looking down at her arms which turned back to normal.

"Is your mother a bird digimon or something?" Yaamon asked with the stank eye.

"You know I could torch you?" Haruka said, the feathers reappearing on her arms.

"Grrr…" Yaamon growled.

Tai punched a creature away before he spin kicked another way sending it tumbling. One of the monsters kicked Tai in the back causing him to stumble onto the ground. Tai tried to crawl away before the creature grabbed him. "Ahh!" Tai shouted, the creature threw him over its shoulder sending him crashing onto the ground with a hard thud.

The Digidestined of Courage groaned, as he pushed himself up with his knuckle. "Damn it…" Tai uttered, the moment he got up the creatures were already behind him. Tai turned to meet his attackers. Tai wasn't afraid, he put his hands up ready to continue fighting. "Bring it!" Tai shouted, in Tai's vision was a humanoid dragon with shields attached to both of its forearms. It was standing in the middle of some ruins.

Both Tai and the creatures ran at each other, Tai duck under a sickle, then deliver a punch that sent the monster flying back into a tree which broke in half upon impact. Tai's eyes widened, as he looked down at his hands in complete awe. Tai didn't have time to gawk, as he dodged a punch from another one, Tai grabbed it's arm before tossing it at the others, leaving only one standing.

As it charged, Tai grinned before running at it, as they closed the gap, Tai pulled his leg back before kicking forward for colliding with the creature's chest which sent it flying between two trees that were shaped like a goal.

Tai raised his arms high. "Woahhh! Goooaall! And the crowd goes wild!" Tai shouted at the top of his lungs. "Ahhh! I'm the strongest boy in the world!" Tai smiled as he poked muscles. "Wait until Matt sees me, he'll be jealous."

TK ducked under a kick losing his hat in the process before rolling to the side then quickly got to his feet. The digidestined of hope avoided one of the creature's scythe arms that was swung at him. In TK's vision was an angelic looking humanoid covered in armor that was reminiscent of that of a falcon. The humanoid raised its blade into the air as lightning struck the blade.

TK snapped out of it and shouted holding out his hand as yellow light appeared in his palm before it slowly formed into a staff that resembled Angemon's.

Clang!

TK looked at his newly formed weapon with disbelief, with it blocking the scythe. On instinct he flicked the staff up pushing away the scythe before delivering a quicking jab to the creature's gut and stumping back.

The blond spun the staff around and smashed it into the side of another creature's head, using the momentum of his swing TK spun around and slammed two more in the face knocking them down to the ground.

TK positioned the staff behind himself, and looked around. "Damn…" TK said, before the staff vanished. "Can't say this is the weirdest thing that has happened."

Kari didn't like fighting much, not like some of the others, but that didn't mean she couldn't. Kari kicked a creature away from her, before she broke into a sprint one of the monsters tried to slash at her with its scythe arm, she leaned backward and slid under the attack, barely missing her face.

Kari slid across the ground like a baseball player sliding to homebase, She jumped to her feet and saw she was surrounded by at least 5 creatures. 'Crap…" Kari thought, see there was no way out of it.

The creatures charged at her, Kari looked around in fear. In Kari's vision a roar echoed through an aurora veil as a majestic lion covered in armor ran through the lands.

Kari snapped out of it, suddenly a yellow dome formed around her stopping the monsters in their tracks. The digidestined of light looked around confused as they monsters clawed and punched the barrier but their efforts proved futile.

Kari just looked at monsters, before her face grew more determined. Bring her arms together for a brief moment and with a yell she pushed her arms out causing the dome to expand in the blink of an eye and it pushed the creatures away with incredible force the monster flying away in multiple directions.

Her enemies gone, the dome vanished leaving behind yellow sparkles. "Amazing…" Kari said, looking down at her palm before she clenched it into a fist. 'Am i… catching up to you two?' Kari thought of both Davis and Xeno.

Davis stumbled backward, his lip bleeding from the blow given by one of the creatures. "Tch…" Davis scoffed, before wiping the blood off his lip. "You guys are pretty tough." Davis admitted, as the monsters began to surround him. "But…" As a smile began to creep on his face. "But your punches lack the stopping power."

In Davis' vision was a humanoid creature wearing knight-like armor standing atop a mountain.

Davis snapped out of it, as the creatures began to rush at the goggle headed boy who took his goggles off and tossed them to the side. Davis's hands began to glow with a golden aura, as one of the monsters closed the gap. The marone-haired boy sidestepped the blow before delivering one of his own and it sent it flying into a nearby boulder and shattered in on impact.

A second creature slashed its scythe arm in a side slash, Davis ducked under it getting into a crouching position before leaping up and kneeing it in the gut, then delivering a left hook to the side of its head knocking it face first into the dirt.

Pivoting Davis delivers a sidekick to another's head causing the monster to spin in the air for a second as it lands on the ground. He uppercutted another, flipping in the air then landing on its back.

The goggle-head took a few deep breaths, as the creature before for a sneak attack trying to drive its scythe through Davis, but a flash of dark purple lightning struck the most causing it to screech in pain before it slumped down to the ground.

Davis looked at the monster behind him then turned to see Xeno who's hand was crackling with dark purple lightning.

"There's only one person who will end you, and that will be me." Xeno said with a glare.

"Hmph." Davis uttered with a smile.

With the fighting over, the kids walked up to each other and silence fell over them as they tried to process what had just happened. And it was Sai who broke the silence.

"Ok… this has to be the best detention I've ever had." Sai said with a big smile. "That was awesome! I got to fight monsters and I now have claws." he said as he grinned at them before they vanished along with the scaled armor on his arms

"Who cares about your claws, I can control lightning!" Xeno grinned, before looking around. "I wish there were more of them, I'm all warmed up now."

"Oh course you would want to fight more Xeni." Xion said sarcastically.

"Come on Xion, you're a Jameser, don't tell me you didn't feel the thrill rushing through your veins." Xeno said to her.

Xion just gave her brother a deadpan look. "What I'm more concerned about is why they suddenly attack us and what those things were?" Xion said

"She's right, why were they attacking us?" Sora questioned, still finding it odd.

"And why do we suddenly have powers like these?" Izzy said, going through so many theories and possibilities in his mind and each one came as inconclusive.

Yolei had recovered her glasses which luckily weren't scratched, she then tried them on but it was blurry before taking them off and everything was clear she didn't do it a few times before she kept them off. "What am I going to tell my eye doctor?" Yolei questioned softly, it all happened too fast, losing her reputation, learning about the digital world, then finding toys, suddenly gaining powers and now she could see clearly without her glasses.

"Nobu, what do you think?" Cody asked, he was just as curious as some of the others along with being shocked by the sudden development.

"For now, this stays between all of us." Nobu said

"Can we at least tell Matt and the other digidestined?" Tai asked. "They should at least know about this."

"Yeah, my brother, Mimi, and Joe can keep a secret." TK added.

Nobu thought for a minute. "Alright, but no one outside the digidestined will know this."

Everyone but Xeno and Sai who both just huffed and nodded.

"I hope we go home soon, this is all too much for me." Catherine said.

"Yeah but which way?" Yaamon asked, bouncing in place.

Nobu turned to Sora. "Sora, you can fly right? Can you see if you can tell us where we are?" Nobu asked.

"Ehhem!" Sora uttered with a slight blush as she pushed her skirt down. "I want all the boys to close their eyes if that's ok?"

"Even me, your boyfriend?" Tai asked with a sly grin.

"Stupid Tai." Sora rolled her eyes.

Sora used her powers to fly above the treeline. It was hard to do at first but she was able to get high enough to see that they really weren't far from the highway. She then saw a jeep with Jaden, Alice, Keith, Sango, and Sakura stopped before the adults ran in their direction.

Sora landed on the ground next to Hakura. "You can uncover your eyes now." Sora told the boys. "Jaden and the other adults are on their way."

"That's great." Kari said, bringing her hands together happily.

"Remember what happened here is between us." Nobu said.

Just then the adults came out of the brush and saw the kids, Sango rushed over and pulled both Xeno and Xion into a tight hug that nearly choked them.

"Oh my god! I was so worried about you both!" Sango exclaimed happily tears of joy pouring down her cheeks.

"Mother…!" Xeno hacked.

"To… tight…." Xion uttered her face turning blue.

Everyone just laughed awkwardly at Sango's action but it was natural. "Um.. Sango, you should let those kids go before they end up joining your husband…" Sakura told her best friend in a nervous tone.

"What happened?" Jaden said. "Everyone here was so worried."

"We can take care of ourselves, old man." Sai stated.

Haruka however elbowed Sai in the stomach causing him to stumble. "What he means is that nothing happened" Haruka translated

"Yeah, and I'm ready to go home." Davis said.

"I'm hungry, feed me human!" Yaamon said bounced next to Xeno forced Sango to release both him and Xion.

Jaden looked at Yaamon and then at Haruka. "Nothing happened huh?" he asked in a sarcastic tone.

"Xeni, Xion… what is this thing?" Sango questioned with killing intent.

"Asked your son, he was the one who decided to bring with us." Xion said putting her brother under the bus.

"Oh pinning it on me! Thanks a lot Xion!" Xeno shouted in anger.

"Well you didn't want to leave alone with Xia or her babysitter." Xion said

"Enough, what is that thing?" Sango questioned

"Well… the truth is…" Xeno began but trailed off. "It's a Digimon… one of the creatures that killed dad."

"Whhhhaaat!" Sango's scream caused some nearby birds to fly away.

"Is there anything that me and Alice are missing here?" Keith asked Sakura.

"Ahhh…" Sakura groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Looks like the two of us have a lot of explaining to do right Jaden?"

"How about we all head home and take a night to rest?" Alice suggested. "After what happened today, I think we need time to process things."

Sango glared at Yaamon who glared back at her, taking a breath and she calmed down. "Fine." Sango said before turning to Sakura. "You have alot of explaining to do, Sakura."

"Very well then." Sakura said before sighing

"Xeni, if that thing causes any trouble, I'll shoot it between the eyes." Sango declared.

Most of the Digidestined were surprised by Sango's hostility towards the in-training digimon

"You can try lady, but-" Yaamon started before Jaden flicked a rock at him knocking the in-training digimon out

"Dear god, can he be quiet?" Jaden muttered

"I'll be waiting in the jeep." Sango said before leaving the group.

"Ok, that was something." Tai said honestly surprised by Sango's reaction.

"Wait, Sango how would we all get back home? The bus is gone?" and the jeep cound't possible fit all of us." Jaden said

"You're the smart teacher, figure it out granny hair." Sango called back.

"I'm only 25 years old." Jaden muttered

"Then dye black…" Alice spoke up.

"Your mom really doesn't like digimon." TK said to Xion.

"After what happened 4 years ago, I don't blame her." Jaden said "However to blame an entire species isn't right, it's like saying all humans are evil." he said

"That is true, but loss can cause people to not think that way, it's not as simple as that." Sakura said she agreed with Jaden and Sango before glancing at Jaden "Isn't that right, Jaden?"

"Shut up." Jaden said before thinking of a way to get everyone home

Eventually, Jaden decided that the best solution was to walk back much to some of their despair. It was either that or wait a couple of hours for new transportation so after voting they agreed to walking. They eventually managed to make it back just before 6:30 in the afternoon.

"Alright, i'll see all of you back later during detetion after school the next day." Jaden told everyone. "Make sure that all of you have a good rest everyone."

"I'm not looking forward to it." Yolei slumped. "My parents are probably going to kill me."

"I'm glad to be going home." Sora said she couldn't wait to take a nice long shower and lay down on her bed.

"I'm pretty sure most of our parents are going mad at us for being late home." Cody lowered his head, remembering how disappointed his mom and grandpa were when they found out he was in detention.

"I'm hungry!" Yaamon shouted.

"You ate my secret stash! That candy could last at least a year, and you're still hungry?!" Xeno said in shock at how Yaamon could still want to eat.

"Dear god, now it's like we have two annoying children in our house." Xion muttered

"And I'm not looking forward to having it in my house." Sango stated.

"Don't worry Sango dear, I'll tell you everything later when you come to my house later alright." Sakura smiled.

"Alright." Sango nodded. "Come kids, and Yaamon, time to go home."

And with that everyone went their separate ways, Sakura decided to stay behind while Nobu, Haruka and Sai went only leaving. Only herself, Jaden, Alice and Keith.

"I'm sorry you had to see her like that, Sango isn't always that way." Sakura apologized.

"It's ok, I've seen people do what she did before." Alice said, over the years she's seen both human and monster blame one another for tragedies and it usually came from both sides.

Jaden just yawned. "That reminds me, how's Fabia doing? Last I heard she is doing errands for you." Jaden told Sakura

"Everythings going well, she should be done by tomorrow." Sakura answered. "But i've been thinking, Yaamon… the digital world and everything… even what happened at the museum."

"The digital world, you still need to explain it to us." Keith told Sakura.

Sakura nodded. "I don't mean to keep it a secret, it's just me and my organization don't know who to trust, after what happened 2 years ago things have been tense especially since that Diaboromon incident a few years back."

"Yes, when that human made digimon tried to nuke both Odaiba and Colorado." Jaden frowned with his arms crossed.

Sakura bit her lip. "Yeah, that boy Willis, he played god almost killed many people but isn't his fault, how he was supposed to know his digi egg would hatch into a killing monster." however she would be called a hypocrite since she and Jaden were working on something in secret.

"Why don't you start at the beginning." Alice asked in a serious tone.

Sakura sighed. "Well it's just while me and my husband were researching the Digital World, a gate suddenly appeared."

"Gate?" Keith asked

"Sorta like a portal or passageway to the digital world." Sakura answered.

"Ok, so what happened?" Alice asked.

"My husband vanished into the Digital world." Sakura said "However I know for a fact that he's still alive."

"How could you tell?" Jaden asked

"Because later another gate appeared and we were sent a message by a digimon that was written by him along with the new model digivice that we were working on." Sakura said. "In fact Nobu is wearing it right now."

Suddenly a creature materialized behind Sakura and became visible and begun nuzzling up to her.

The creature resembled a young dragon. had three horns like a Triceratops. It is mostly white in color with black-tipped horns and tail, red tipped spikes on its frill, a red stripe around its left wrist, two black wings that grow out of its back, and dark violet-tipped claws on all four of its limbs. It also possesses yellow eyes and a small black nose, and wears a blue bandana around its neck.

"Oh how cute!" Alice awed.

"This is Gammamon." Sakura said as she introduce him to everyone. "When the gate appeared young Gammamon was there along with the note from my husband as well as the new model digivice. It said to treat him as our son."

"Interesting, but why would he send you the digivice and Gammamon?" Keith asked curiously.

To be honest, I'm wondering about that myself." Sakura said

"I want to know why those kids are involved, what's their role in the digital world?" Keith asked.

"They are called the Digidestined or Chosen Children, a group of kids who are chosen by the Digital World to protect both worlds alongside Digimon who they are partnered with." Sakura answered.

"So child soldiers?" Jaden asked not that he cared.

"The digidestined legacy goes way back even before the technology today was ever made, through history. In fact the Digimon were the basis for most of our folklore and my friend Xeno Sr even theorized that they helped ancient humans learn agriculture, crafting and many other things, and I wish I allowed him in on the secret before he died." Sakura said with a look of shame.

"Well thanks for answering our questions." Jaden said as he wrapped his arm around her before pulling her towards him. "But we all have to be on our way and get ready for tomorrow." he said

"Sure, and maybe we can finally spend some time together." Alice said, turning to Jaden. "You barely ever spend time with me, you're almost always at work, or… chasing skirts as always."

"Oh, we'll spend time together alright." Jaden said, pulling Alice close to him.

"Well, while you two do that. I'm going to contact the museum manager and see if I can get some information on Soahc Corp." Keith stated.

"I'll look into it as well, something wasn't right when the T-Rex attacked us and then the bus conveniently vanished." Sakura added.

"We could discuss this later tomorrow." Jaden said "Does that sound fair?" he asked

Everyone just nodded and agreed.

The next day, the gang went on about their day although alot of them couldn't get what happened the previous day out of their mind. With no word on the Digimon Emperor's activities, so they wouldn't be going to the digital world, the day had gone by fast and group was outside the school.

"Oh god, I hate this…" Yolei muttered, all day many kids and teenagers in school mocked her and joked about her no longer being on the council, not only that she also had to get used to not wearing her glasses, although she didn't really mind so was a positive.

"I don't know, I could get used to you being like the rest of us peasants." Sai mocked

"Sai! I spent so long trying to reach what I achieved while you just waste your life on fighting and foolishness, I wouldn't be surprised you end up on the street asking for some loose change!" Yolei growled.

Nobu coughed into his hand "Actually Sai, despite his actions, has an IQ that could rival Izzy's, he's just too lazy to do anything." Nobu said, shocking everyone, even Davis and Xeno.

"Really?" TK asked, surprised by that.

"Well, looks like you aren't as dumb as I originally thought, but it's to be expected." Xeno said, which made TK feel offended.

"I don't need your insight tissue hat." Sai said to TK. "I don't know your grades, but I don't put any effort into doing my work." he revealed.

"Xeni's the same way, super smart but is a complete underachiever." Xion stated.

"Cause everything is so boring, the point of being smart if everything that is presented to you is too easy?" Xeno stated.

"Finally someone agrees." Sai smirked

"So you two are just bored out of your minds and refuse to make an effort?!" Yolei shouted in complete shock.

Both Xeno and Sai looked at each other rather than at Yolei before answering. "Yeah that's right." they both said at the same time.

"Oh my Kami, all this time…" Yolei sat down on the ground feeling completely stupid, that meant both of them could be even smarter than her.

"And even with all that intelligence, they still lose to Davis in a fight." Kari said, leaning against Davis's shoulder, which made the goggle headed boy sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.

"Grr." Xeno and Sai growled in anger, for Kari to bring up that fact.

"Forget about Xeni and Sai's intelligence, what's the report on those toys?" Xion asked.

"Yeah, Izzy did you or Nobu find out anything?" TK asked.

"I scanned them with my computer and I have to say the power give off is incredible." Izzy answered with excitement.

"What is it you all are talking about?" a female voice spoke up.

They all turned to see a young girl, she seemed to be about a year older than the younger kids. She has auburn hair that stopped at lower back. She had spiral glasses with light blue eyes behind them. She wore a long sleeve red-shirt with white stripes, a yellow vest, black leggings under red shorts and blue sneakers.

Behind her was a young boy her age, he seemed a little fidgety, he had short brown hair with light purple eyes. He wore a white buttoned shirt, blue trousers and black shoes. He was holding a black bag that seemed to be a little too heavy for him.

"Oh man, Yoko." Yolei said.

"Who?" TK asked Kari.

"She's Yoko Tsume, she's on the school newspaper, her father is a new reporter." Kari explained

"The boy is her assistant, Rito Tsubasa." Davis added.

Rito headed up a video camera and began filming and Yoko got in front of the group. "A-alright, rolling in 3,2,1…" He counted before pointing at Yoko.

"Hello students, this Yoko Tsume once again, bringing you news. Today, we have a rather interesting group which is surprising to see Yolei Inoue and Nobu Ryouma." Yoko said before turning to Yolei.

"Word in the halls saying that both you and Nobu has lost your positions on student council, can you quote me on this Ms. Inoue?" Yoko questioned. "Is it true that the new principle took away your position, how does that make you feel? Are you angry at the action?"

"No comments." Nobu replied in a calm voice with his eyes closed, Staying cool and calm as always

"But Mister Ryouma, aren't you angry by the new principals' actions? Isn't this an insult to the example you try to make of school?" Yoko asked. "Many are saying you actually enabled Davis, Sai and Xeno to fight each other before Principle Tsubaki arrived."

"Rest assured, I'll see what I could do in the meantime, until then there's nothing I could do until then." Nobu replied

"Sounds like you may have a plan." Yoko stated. "Ms. Inoue, is it true that the reason you and Jameser argue is because of a lover spat?"

"No comment!" Xeno grabbed the camera from Rito who was shocked, both and Yolei had a deep blush on their faces. "If you keep filming this, new rules or not! I'll shove this down your throat and we'll get a real understanding of how the man body works!"

Yoko pointed a finger to her cheek. "Rumors are saying that you two are secretly dating, and are putting on a charade, and Yolei is not even wearing her glasses. Is she trying to be more appealing?"

"Grr! Shut up!" Yolei shouted, feeling both embarrassed and disgusted. "Yoko, I don't need you saying such bullcrap!"

"This is so hilarious." Sai chuckled, enjoying the drama, almost asking if he could get a copy of what they were taping.

"But with all the arguing and stuff, also didn't Xeno save you from a old man that nearly raped you on the way home?" Yoko questioned which made Yolei flinch.

"What?" TK muttered, he looked at the others and they looked uncomfortable, but not shocked by what Yoko said.

"Umm, Yoko isn't that a bit too personal to bring up?" Rito questioned, feeling like that was too personally for her to bring up.

"The public must know Rito." Yoko said not backing down.

"That's bullshit Yoko! That too sestive to bring up!" Xion shouted, not believe that Yoko would bring up a terrible event that happened to Yolei

"That's true, don't remind Yolei of that horrible event, and you shouldn't even be bringing it up with others." Kari also does not like that Yoko brought up Yolei's past.

"It's my job as a journalist to expose the truth, and I'm on track to finding a scoop that will put me on the map." Yoko said with her head up high. "I'm planning to find out more about Mr. Muto, there is something about him that screams mystery and I'm planning on solving it!"

"Yeah, you do that, we'll just be going." Davis said, as he and Kari began walking away. And soon after the others did too.

"So what do we do now?" Rito asked, wondering what his friend and boss would do.

"They are hiding something, my reporter senses are tingling." Yoko said her face scrunched with determination.

"So we follow them?" Rito asked.

"Hmm." Yoko said with a determined look.

"Can you believe how insensitive Yoko is?" Xion grumbled, as turned to Yolei who seemed to have a blank expression, as Cody patted her back trying to comfort the lavender haired girl.

"I haven't known her very long, but Yoko is kinda how do you say?" Catherine trailed off trying to find the right word.

"Crazy, nuts, a clout chaser?" Sai said.

"I was going to say too much into her work, but those work too." Catherine remarked.

Kari looked at Yolei and saw she was very distraught, the digidestined of light placed her hand on the girl's shoulder. "It's ok Yolei, we're here with you." Kari said.

"Yeahhh,..." Yolei uttered, trying her best to not think about that incident, it was the most horrifying experience of her life, she could never forget the fear she felt on that day.

Xion looked at her watch. "Oh man, I'm going to be late for my ballet lessons. Xeni, do you mind holding this?" Xion asked as she tossed the toy at her brother who caught it in one hand.

"Hmm." Xeno mumbled, as Xion walked down the sidewalk.

"Is it true?" TK asked Xeno. "Did you save Yolei?"

Xeno narrowed his eyes before he could say anything they heard of scream. "Ahhh!" Xion screamed.

"Xion!" Xeno shouted, as he and others turned to see Xion struggling against the creatures they had fought the other day. Behind a car that was parked, Yoko and Rito watched in shock and awe.

"Hurry, Rito, get the camera out!" Yoko said, wanting to get this caught on film.

Rito opened the black bag but everything fell out of it, the young boy scrambled to grab the camera, he grabbed the camera with his hands fidgeting trying to get the thing on once Rito did, he began to film.

"Let me go, assholes!" Xion shouted trying to break free.

"Xion!" Xeno shouted as he rushed at them to reach his sister.

Only in flash of green light they vanished in thin air as he went though where they once were. Yoko's jaw dropped. "Tell me.. You got that?" she asked Rito."

"Oh yeah…" Rito said with a big grin. As he showed her the footage but both his and Yoko's shock it was blurry.

"There's nothing there." Yoko said with disappointment.

"Xion!" Xeno shouted as he got up looking around. "Fuck! Dammit! Shit!"

"Oh pauvre Xion…." Catherine muttered her hands over her mouth.

"Where did they take her?" Kari said, both scared and worried for Xion.

"Xion!" Xeno shouted, millions of thoughts rushed through his mind. "Damnit! What am I going to tell mom and Xia?" the older twin was beginning to panic.

"Xeno calm down! You know how tough Xion is, panicking won't help us!" Davis shouted, he was worried as well for Xion's safety and wellbeing.

"What do we do?" Yolei asked, cause normally she would consider calling the cops or something but what would they say?

"Nobu, Izzy, what do we do?" Cody asked, not really knowing what to do.

"I think we should tell the teacher this time." Nobu said

"Oh yeah! Hello, our classmate has been kidnapped by a bunch of monsters that teleported away, they'll think we're crazy and send us to the looney bin bro." Sai said sarcastically.

Nobu glared at sai before walking away.

"Where are you going?" Xeno asked.

"Over to Dr. Muto's house." Nobu said

"Dr. Muto? What's he going to do?" Yolei questioned.

"These things are prehistoric." Nobu said. "Sort of, so i'm going to Dr. Muto's house for answers."

"I'm going too!" Xeno growled as he walked away. "I'll beat the answers out of him, and better know where I can find my sister!"

"Look we all can't go, I'll stay behind and contact Tai and Sora." Izzy said.

"Me too." Cody said. "If that's ok?"

"Sure." Izzy nodded.

"I'm staying out of this." Sai said.

"I'm going with them." Kari said.

"Count me in too." Davis said clenching fist.

"I'm coming as well." Catherine said.

Xeno stopped in his tracks. "Cath, I want you to stay here and tell my mom me and Xion won't be back for a bit."

"But…" Catherine tried to interject.

"I'm not asking! I'm telling you!" Xeno shouted, clenching his fist so hard his nails dug into his flesh causing blood to drip onto the ground.

Catherine was taking aback by Xeno's outburst but reluctantly nodded. "Alright…" Catherine said.

"My car can only fit one more person." Nobu called back.

"I'll go with you guys." Yolei spoke up. "If Dr. Muto has answers then I want to know, and I do owe Xion for a few things."

"Alright let's go." Nobu said as he hopped in his car before he lowered the window. "Haruka tell mom that I'll be back before dinner alright."

"Ok." Hakura said, which made the group jump in shock.

"Where did you come from?!" Xeno demanded.

"I was behind you all this time." Haruka answered. "I was just being quiet."

"Don't do that again, I almost wet myself." Kari muttered, her hand on her chest.

"No promises." Haruka replied

"Everyone." Nobu said. "Are you going to get in the car or what?" Nobu asked.

Not needing any more reasons, the kids get into the car Xeno sitting in the front while Davis, Kari, and Yolei get into the back. Before they sped away leaving the group behind.

"I hope Xion is ok." Kari said in worry.

"Let's hope she's alright." Nobu said as he drove over to where Jaden's and Alice's house was

After driving for a couple of hours, they parked in the driveway of the house.

After exiting the car they all rushed to the front door.

"Hey old man! Open this door!" Xeno shouted banging on the door.

There was no answer. After a couple of minutes Nobu decided to opened the door and it was revealed to be unlocked which confused as well as concerned him.

"Why would Dr. Muto leaves his house unlocked?" Nobu said to Xeno.

"Good question… but I don't care." Xeno said as he walked in.

"He needs to calm down." Kari said she understood that Xeno was worried about Xion but yelling and attacking with no plan would be suicidal.

"Let's hope Jaden has the answers." Davis scowled, as he and the others followed after Xeno.

"Dr. Muto, are you here?" Yolei called out.

"Hey old man, I have some questions for you." Xeno said.

"This is weird, where is he and Alice?" Kari questioned.

Xeno then saw a model replica of a T-Rex's skeleton and went to examine it. "Hmm, you're thinking what I'm thinking, Nobu?" Xeno asked Nobu

"Yeah…" Nobu answered.

"What?" Davis asked, but then realized what they were on to. "Wait a minute, that's only in the movies."

"Yeah, the guy's a teacher." Yolei started "Not a-"

Xeno then pulled down the jawbone of the model T-Rex revealing a hidden passageway.

"Madman." Yolei finished as she gasped in shock

"Ok, this is so cool!" Davis said giddy.

"Where do you think it goes?" Kari asked curiously.

Xeno began walking down before turning back to Kari. "it goes down." Xeno answered before he continued walking down, the others soon followed and to their shock they were back in the same place they found the toys.

"This is seriously creeping me out." Yolei said.

"This is the same place we were before." Davis said, looking around. "So Dr. Muto and Alice do know about these." Davis said, taking out the golden toy.

"But why is this under his house?" Kari asked.

"If you all are looking for extra credit?" Jaden's voice rang out behind them forcing the kids to turn to face him, and he didn't look happy. "You've come to the wrong place."

The 5 just looked at each other then back to Jaden, all were wondering what the hell did they just walk into.

A/N: Woah, that was a long chapter and yes many of the characters were ooc but I'm trying to add some more to this story, adding more of a real world feel with the Digidestied acting more like normal kids and teenagers with hobbies and goals outside of the digital world. One of the important things to take away is that Kari has survivor's guilt and feels responsible and things aren't really the same even after everything that happened during Myotismon's invasion, and many things will be revealed later.

A/N-SkylanderZilla-I use some themes from Power Rangers Dino Thunder in this chapter and merged it with the Kaijuverse but it'll be drastically different. One the Trap Bakugan that the Chosen Children have found have an unknown energy source that were use in their creation which is why they have powers. The energy source will be revealed later in the story. And two, the primary battlers Bakugan/Kaiju wielded by Jaden, Alice, Keith and Fabia won't see much action in this story due to reason which will be revealed later in the story as well, so they mostly take a support role. But they will eventually assist them in the story later.
