Warning: As this takes place 8 years after a story of mine called Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: DX, this series is bound contain detailed descriptions of possible toxicity and maybe even descriptive violence, gore, attempts of writing body horror, and more in future installments. Please read at your own discretion.
This series I am writing is out of heavy inspiration from Hideaki Anno's Shin Japan Heroes Universe, which is essentially Anno's takes on reintroducing a new incarnation of a famous anime he made (Neon Genesis Evangelion) or a tokusatsu he grew up with (Shin Gojira/Shin Godzilla, Shin Ultraman, and Shin Kamen Rider) while attempting to stay true to the source material and the meaning behind their stories.
I do not own Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Saban's Masked Rider, or any other series that will be mentioned or used in this series. This is merely an experiment. This will not just show these series, but also variations of many IPs that were given the live action adaptation treatment.
"Those traitorous Edenites are getting away!"
Deep underground, a pair of robots raced through a sewer tunnel, fleeing their pursuers. One had red saurian features on its face, while the other had pink draconic features with a faceplate shut tight. Beams of red light threatened to pierce and tear the fleeing duo apart as they struck the concrete walls around them like lightning. A bolt grazed one of the robots on the knee, causing it to yelp in pain. Finding a drain to take cover in, the larger robot pulled its smaller companion closer and leaped into it just before a well-aimed blast could strike the two where they stood.
The gunner who had placed the shot snapped their fingers in disappointment that they hadn't neutralized the two traitors. Looking up to see a sign, they noticed a sign that read "CAUTION! MECHA RANGER TERRITORY!"
The gunners walked off, muttering about how the two would most likely be killed by the Empire's most powerful enemy. They were tempted to follow them, but it honestly scared them.
Outside the tunnel, the larger robot laid sprawled on the ground strained from the current ordeal. Turning to the robot next to him, he had to make sure of something. "Are you okay, kiddo?"
The smaller Edenite tried to get up when she felt a sharp pain from her left knee. "My knee hurts, Uncle 1021..."
Clutching his fists, he closed his eyes in anger that he couldn't protect her from that shot. First, they were on the run and now his only niece was hurt. "I think we're close to Go City...," he said softly.
Sirens blared as they got closer and closer to their location.
"Too close to Go City..."

A team of colorful rangers were surrounded by grunts and their commanding officer. Arming themselves for the fight of their lives, the rangers went into various poses.
"Secret Squadron... Star Rangers!" the rangers shouted out before engaging their foes.
Everyone looked up in confusion before beams of purple light struck everyone there...

"Trini! Congrats on the Conference last year!" Ernie called out as a Thai-Korean teen walked into his juice bar and gym with a Japanese friend.
"Thanks Ernie!" Trini smiled as she pulled her companion next to her. The guy nervously smiled as she began talking about him. "This is Boi! We met a few weeks after the Switzerland Peace Conference!"
Boi waved awkwardly. "Hi! It's nice to meet you!"
"Can we get two smoothies for to go?" Trini ordered, looking at the menu. "I'm thinking of mango for mine. What do you want, Boi?"
"Can I get a pineapple smoothie?"
Ernie went to work preparing their drinks.

As Trini and Boi sat at a bench at a nearby park drinking their smoothies, they were contemplating on their future.
"You surpassed my status as Tiger Ranger." Boi began all of a sudden, getting his companion's attention.
"Isn't that a good thing?" Trini asked as she and Boi began cleaning up after themselves.
"It is... And I'm proud of you, Trini. Never in millions of years did I expect someone to finally do it until you and the other Power Rangers started wearing our Beast Ranger suits. Geki, Goushi, Dan, and Mei? Even Burai? We're proud of you guys and Zordon for using Daizyujin's blessing to help us get our physical bodies back."
The two yellow rangers smiled at each other before noticing the sky turn purple.
"That doesn't look good... It doesn't look like something Rita or Lord Zedd would do."
"Same with Bandora and Satan..." the two looked at each other in worry before running off to alert the other Rangers.
Little did they know that the universe would freeze, and time would come to a halt in a flash of purple...

A lone figure sat on a skyscraper's rooftop in downtown, admiring the night sky. Suddenly, they noticed a scene unfolding below. The figure promptly jumped off the tower to investigate.
The figure pulled out a white and gold pistol and inserted a golden gear piece as he began glowing various colors before being engulfed in a white light.

In a part of the multiverse where the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers returned their powers to Zordon for the next generation after defeating Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, a bustling new city named Go City emerged as tribute to the many heroes in the world who have come and gone such as the Power Rangers, Metal Heroes, Space Sheriffs, Ultras, and Kamen Riders.

A new generation of villains has emerged in the form of the Gearbreaker Empire, which has been waging a secret war against the city for the past three years. In response to this threat, a new group of heroes has arisen to confront the danger. Utilizing the power of the Edenites and the enigmatic Grid Gears, the Gearbreaker Empire's most formidable opponent will continue battling until peace is restored throughout the land.
"When you're the first, many more will follow!"
Keep fighting at full power, Rangers! May the power protect you in your darkest hours!

"We have Gearbreakers at the river! I repeat, Gearbreakers at the river!" a police officer called into his radio, chasing after the two robots on the riverbed with eleven of his peers.
He frantically carried his niece across the desert, now evading stun rounds fired by Go City's police. He was running low on power. Any more running would harm his body from the stress he was putting himself under.
"D- don't push yourself, Uncle!" the smaller robot cried out.
Grinning to himself despite the pain, 1021 comforted her. "Don't worry about me, kiddo! Hopefully we can find some shelter."
Disappearing into the darkness, the two Edenites used their built-in lights to search for a place to stay.

They found shelter by taking cover at an abandoned mineshaft inside the nearest rock formation. There, they hid for a moment. The two were filthy, injured, and exhausted from the ordeal. At least they had managed to outrun the police without sustaining too many injuries.
"A- Are they gone?" the smaller robot asked in a faint whisper. 1021 nodded.
"More or less," A voice sounded out of nowhere. The two Edenites were terrified, especially when the owner turned on a flashlight to show a white and black helmet with a golden V planted on top of his blue goggle-like visor. "I had to lure them away from here."
"Sweet sprinkles, 1317... It's the Mecha Ranger!" The saurian robot cried out, as they were both cornered by the fabled destroyer of Edenites. Hugging his draconic niece, the two screamed together. "He's gonna exterminate us just like all the Bolters sent here on the surface! AHHHHH!"
"I DON'T WANT TO DIE, UNCLE 1021! AHHHHH!"
The Mecha Ranger quietly chuckled at that and snapped his fingers to get their attention. The two robots stopped screaming and listened nervously. "Now, we've got a bit of a problem here," he said. Nobody responded. "Why are you two up here on the surface? By the looks of your clothes, you appear to be civilians."
1021 calmed himself down to convince the armored threat. "Please, we're being hunted by our own people. We don't have anywhere else to go other than the surface!"
"W- we need a place to stay..." 1317 meekly whispered.
The Mecha Ranger looked down for a moment to process the situation before unveiling a metal surface on the wall. He then took out his gun and inserted its muzzle into a slot.
The trapdoor beside them opened up to reveal a spacious underground base. The White Ranger stood before them in full view, along with the white, gray, and silver decals on his armor and cape. He then removed his armor to reveal a high school student of Japanese descent. His dirty white coat clashed with his blue jeans, but if either of the two Edenites had to guess, that jacket was at least fifty years old.
"Make yourself at home," the Mecha Ranger politely gestured, helping the two climb inside. "My name's Kaito Goshiki, and this is my base of operations as the Mecha Ranger. Also known in this part of the world as the last Power Ranger."

As Kaito helped the two Edenites move along in the base, he gave them a proper tour of the place to show them what they can do.
"First room to our right is the first bathroom out of eight."
"For humans?"
"For humans and whatever species arrive, so the both of you are free to use it."
"The room to my left down the hallway is the repair room. I'll try to help 1317 in fixing her leg."
"T- Thank you, mister Kaito." Kaito turned to the pink Edenite and raised an eyebrow.
"How old are the both of you? I can tell you both are related, but it's kinda hard to know."
"To be clear, I'm in what you humans call a midlife crisis." 1021 chuckled to himself.
"I- I'm seventeen..." 1317 rubbed her neck in embarrassment. Kaito gave her a small fist bump.
"Well, I'm almost eighteen. I want to make you feel better, 1317, so don't call me mister; Just call me Kaito." the draconic Edenite gave a shy nod at that, feeling her face plate slightly open. 1021 noticed a small electric spark near 1317's faceplate and nearly grinned. "Anyways, Next room to the right is the tunnel to Go City. I normally use this if I need to get some groceries or when patrolling Go City, but considering the circumstances, I'll take the both of you with me if any of you want to see the city once all of this blows over."
"Are you sure about that?" 1021 asked cautiously.
Kaito nodded to the saurian Edenite and gave a soft smile. "I'm not the kind of person to lie unless the person I'm talking to isn't trustworthy. That's why I'm letting you two stay here. I can tell that you're innocent people being hunted by the Gearbreaker Empire. I trust you."
The two robots were grateful for that.
"Let's check out the kitchen!"

"The two divergents are gone?!" the prime ruler of the Gearbreaker Empire roared out in anger as his loyal subjects need down in disappointment, connected to the empire's interface.
"They escaped being dismantled and ran into Mecha Ranger territory, Emperor Mechadus, sir!" a bolter answered nervously.
Emperor Mechadus remained silent for a moment as he pondered his decision. Finally, he turned to a massive Edenite soldier and issued his command. "Very well. Send a scouting party to explore the surface and locate all potential invasion points. Your primary objective will be to locate traitorous units 1021 1951119 and 1317 1951119. Secondly, seek out and eliminate the Mecha Ranger. Lastly, compromise Go City's security network. Ensure that Professor Protrude equips your soldiers with our most advanced weaponry. Return these traitors alive!"
"YES, EMPEROR MECHADUS!" the army chanted out.
As the troops left, Mechadus smiled, hoping they can defeat the Mecha Ranger once and for all.

"This is so good!" 1317 savored the taste of her ice cream cone while ignoring the mortified stares of the humans around her. This was her 26th snack item she got from Kaito, and she was eating everything. Even the cone wrapper. Paper bits that stuck to her fingers burned off from sparks of electricity that occasionally appear on her hands. She and 1021 were eating ice cream from Kaito's café and ice cream cart at the local park, enjoying what the incognito Mecha Ranger gave them. The table they sat on was next to the barista's carts, where they could watch him work. "Thank you, Kaito!"
Kaito was generous to give her and 1021 a tour of the surface while he's doing his daily routine working on the weekends selling ice cream and coffee, but now the lone barista was slightly beginning to regret it because the crowd forming around 1021 and 1317. He was understandably worried for their safety. "No problem."
"Well, not really sure what to say about the humans staring at us." 1021 added as he threw away his cone wrapper into a trash bin. "So this is what a park feels like. Feels good... Thanks for taking us out, Kaito."
"Hey, I'm glad you're enjoying it." Kaito calmly nodded as he waved to the crowd staring at 1021 and 1317. "Homemade ice cream and coffee are one dollar each at Full Power Café! Great for hot and sunny weather all year long!"
As the day passed on, the barista was about to finish an order when the customer who made the order asked something. She was admiring him from a distance, unnerving the incognito Mecha Ranger by a decimal.
"What's with the two robots here? Did you build them?"
"No," Kaito replied. "I repaired them after they arrived at my house."
The customer nodded before pointing at 1317. "How much does that one cost?"
Kaito frowned and shook his head. "She's not for sale. Nor is her uncle. They're sentient."
(Stop the song...)
"Hm. Alright then." The customer sighed as she pulled a pen from her pocket. The pen transformed into a twin-tipped spear, crackling with electricity, and the customer morphed into a feline Edenite, startling other customers. 1021 and 1317 turned to witness the commotion and were shocked to their cores. Pointing the spear at the barista, the robot declared its intentions. "Those Edenites are traitors. Hand them over or face the wrath of the Gearbreaker Empire!"
The barista remained quiet as he observed the situation. 1021 was trying to hide 1317 and himself to no avail, and there were no other humans around at the moment. Eyeing the Edenite's face, he made a simple comment. "Nice hair."
"Flattery won't win me over that easily!" the robot shouted in a flustered manner. She jabbed her spear at Kaito when he dodged to the left.
1021 called to Kaito to get his attention. "STOP FLIRTING WITH THE ENEMY AND LET'S SKEDADDLE!"
Seeing the fleeing robots, the feline Edenite pulled out a blaster and adjusted its settings. She fired at 1021, who tripped and fell after kicking a shopping cart. Kaito and 1317 looked back and tried to reach the large robot.
"NO!"
1021's eyes widened as the purple light barreled into his vision and closed his eyes, but the shot never came in contact.
Opening his eyes, 1021 stared in shock at the one who took the hit...
"U- Uncle… You need to get out of here…" 1317 whispered before powering down. She fell to the floor face first while the feline Edenite silently stared at the situation.
1021 scrambled to his downed niece and tried to wake her up. "Wake up, kiddo! Wake up! We gotta get out of here!" but there was no response from the pink draconic robot. Tears came out from the Edenite as his attempts ended in vain. "T- this isn't funny! Wake up, 1317! Wake up already!"
Kaito glared at the armored Edenite and nudged at 1021. "1021, I'll carry her. That's the best we can do for 1317 right now."
The feline Edenite watched, stunned at the ordeal. Pulling out her radio, she informed the underground army of the current situation.
"Professor Protrude, this is Bolter Unit 7115. I... I took down Unit 1317, but she is being aided by Unit 1021 and a human! There are no signs of the Mecha Ranger."
"I see. Then it is time to lay waste to this city once and for all." a gravelly voice rang out from the speaker. "I shall arrive with troops to aid you in a moment."
"Thank you, sir!" the unit thanked profusely as she cut off the connection on her end.

"That sniper of yours had a pause in her speech." Protrude turned from his communications console to Lord Mechadus.
"A pause?"
The Emperor recited what 7115 had said. "'Professor Protrude, this is Bolter Unit 7115. I-" Mechadus emphasized the pause. "'I have taken down Unit 1317.' The unit has already become divergent; we must silence her before she goes against my will."
Protrude looked to his left and looked at a bulky metal helmet he was working on. "She is one our best, my liege. We do not need to dismantle her if we use my new scrambler helmet."
"Is it durable?"
"A shot from the Mecha Ranger will only scratch it, my liege."
"A change of plans then. Bring in our dear unit 7115 for a little... Reward."
"Very well. If the helmet is destroyed, we will dismantle the divergent when she comes back from the surface."

Rummaging through his destroyed cart, Kaito contemplated about the unit that shot 1317. She is still on the loose. Picking up an ice cream bucket, he read the logo and sighed. "It's going to take me a week to make five dozen more of these."
A pair of feline green eyes followed him. Following that pair of eyes were masses of reds, yellows, greens, blues, purples, and whites...

1021 sat beside 1317 at her bunk to check on her vitals. A tiring task, but worth it when he realized that she is just unconscious. Closing his eyes, he realized that he and 1317 couldn't run any more.
Kaito allowed his home to be their home.
1317 got to open up a bit thanks to the teen fabled in infamy back in the Empire.
He can actually do what 1317's parents neglected to do and raise their estranged daughter to the best of his ability.
They can have basic needs.
They're home now...
And they need to defend it.
A sense of resolve grew in the saurian Edenite as he tightly held 1317's right hand. That he will protect their home no matter what with the Mecha Ranger. He stormed out of 1317's room to find Kaito's armory.
What he found was amazing.
Gears with different colored engravings adorned a central column, surrounded by computers of various sizes. Six colorful suits with diamond engravings and a white suit with tiger motifs were displayed on one side. On another, a laptop labeled "Avataro Rangers" had four differently colored dots peppering its screen in a CMYK format. A brown sword with a trigger reading "When you're the first, many more will follow," lay on an articulated stand beside the final display, which revealed eight other colorful suits and their respective owners. 1021 carefully read the placards dedicated to each member.

"Power Rangers?" the saurian Edenite began as he looked around for more information.
He noticed a red metal eagle with rainbow tail and wing feathers and poked a button behind its head.
"ZORDON!" the robot squawked, startling 1021 greatly.
"AH! What in the world are you?!"
"EAGLE and the Star Ranger's last project, Doro!" Doro replied, bringing out a foot to 1021. "I'm supposed to serve as the navigator of the next generation of Power Rangers."
1021 brought out his hands and shook them with Doro. "Huh. I kept seeing the term 'Power Rangers' in this room. What are they?
The Metal Eagle responded, "Power Rangers are warriors throughout the multiverse. It doesn't matter if they are called that or Sentai. They usually come in different names and suits, but this universe hasn't had any rangers since 1995. Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, Kimberly, and Tommy? The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers? They turned in their morphers after defeating Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. Both were powerful beings from a sector beyond our solar system."
"I- I see..." 1021 sighed to himself. "What about the Mecha Ranger? Kaito. I need to help him."
Doro's eyes widened at that. "Kaito? As in Kaito Goshiki?" a nod from the saurian Edenite confirmed it.
"He's alive as the last of those 'rangers' you mentioned!"
"What year is it?" 1021 made a silent face of impatience at Doro's question. "Never mind. This universe's Zordon left these in case he was gone. He called them Grid Gears; gears you insert into blasters to transform without needing the morphing grid. The only problem with them is that they require inorganic organisms to fully utilize their powers."
1021 picked up a gear that he felt attracted to and picked up a pistol as well. "Good for me, then. Anyways, my name is 1021, the year here on the surface is 2025, and my niece and I just met Kaito after he allowed us to use this place as refuge after our folks at the Gearbreaker Empire decided to dismantle us."
"You're Edenites?"
All 1021 did was nod. "I want to do Kaito a favor and help defend Go City with him."
Doro nodded. "Go to him and have him grant you authorization. Right now, you can only use your gun for self defense."
"Will do!" the saurian Edenite walked off with a salute. "I'm gonna make those Gearbreakers regret hunting my niece and I!"

Kaito was about to bring his carts back home when he heard electricity crackle from behind.
"Didn't expect you to come back." the barista began as he turned to the owner of the sound. "I thought you Gearbreakers know better than to attack people out of nowhere?"
"I- it isn't me..." the feline Edenite groaned in pain as she shakily aimed her weapon at him. Her head was encapsulated in some kind of helmet.
"So this is the human who aided Units 1021 and 1317?" Kaito looked around, only to realize that he was surrounded by more Edenites. A white, tall, and lanky Edenite confined to his mobile platform rolled next to the armored Edenite, adjusting his monocle. "I remember you, Star45..."
"How do you know my old Kamen Rider Chronicle username?" the incognito Mecha Ranger backed up to his carts and felt five spears poke against his spine.
Protrude ignored the question as he raised his arms. "Unit 7115, how does your reward feel?"
"I- it hurts..." a shock of pain from the helmet forced 7115 to prepare to blast Kaito. "I- I'm s- sorry I- I have to k- kill you like this..."
"Set your Breaker Rifle to explosive." Protrude cackled.
The barista looked away, preparing for the worst. He looked at the spear bearing bolters and observed what their personalities were, wincing from the cuts made from the spears poking his back. He could tell the robots who held spears to his back were innocent. They were hesitating to stab him and were shaking for their lives when they realized that their fellow bolter will commit friendly fire and be hit as well.
A loud blast could be heard, catching everyone off guard.
"Back away from the Mecha Ranger!" 1021 roared, pointing his pistol at Protrude. 7115 was forced to aim at 1021 instantly.
"Mecha Ranger? This ride-player?! You worthless baker! You have no room to talk, you nameless heap of scrap!" Protrude spat in response.
The saurian Edenite paused for a moment. After deciding, he pumped his fist into his chest and pointed a finger at the seething professor. "I gave myself one... and it's Jura! DJ Jura!"
Kaito pulled the spear bearing Edenites up close and pushed them to a safe location. He dodged a blast coming from a soldier and stood next to the now named DJ Jura.
"Why are you here?" the Mecha Ranger whispered to DJ as he opened his coat.
"I want to join you as a Ranger, Kaito. You're gonna need all the help you can get in defending this place." Kaito stared at DJ, with the Edenite feeling as though Kaito's gave pierced into his soul.
The Mecha Ranger gave DJ a rundown, how to operate the pistol, what happens if any of them were to flip their gear, and more. The bolters looked at the two in confusion, while Protrude was growing impatient. He was about to have 7115 blast the two where they stood when they turned around.
Kaito chuckled as he pulled out his own pistol and gear. "Looks like I won't be alone!" He looked at DJ and granted the Edenite access. "You embody the spirit of the first Megazord from Universe 16, Daizyujin...the God of the Ancients. I'd be honored to have you join me as the second Mecha Ranger, Red Mecha!"
Juras nodded as he inserted his gear into his gun. He cranked the weapon eagerly. Feeling the power emanate, he grinned and fired. He nailed 7115 with a shot to the head, shattering the bolter's helmet. Everyone jumped at that, not expecting the saurian robot to fire so early. Kaito smirked as he also began cranking his gun.
Flashes of light engulfed the two, until they were covered in white and red light. Feeling the rhythm coming from the pistols, the two spun in synchronization to the beat. Stopping once the beat ended, the two pointed their guns at Protrude and fired. "IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!"

"SECRET SQUADRON!" Kaito's white and black Mecha Ranger suit formed over his body as he raised his gun to the sky. "MECHA RANGER!"
"PREHISTORIC FANTASY!" DJ shouted as he stomped the ground. He then pointed his gun at the sky and yelled, "RED MECHA!"
The two lowered their guns to meet Protrude's eye level once again. "FULL POWER, RANGERS! POWER RANGERS: MECHAVERSE!"
The atmosphere was tense as the bolters realized who they were aiming at. The Edenite Slayer himself, Mecha Ranger. Kaito's black, grey, and silver decals gained color, revealing shades of red and pink on his chest and gold where his silver armor pieces were. A golden 45 shone on his forehead surrounded by a pair of silver wings.
"/SHIROMEKA? KUROMEKA? MEKARENGER~!!!/"
They then looked at the traitor 7115 was hunting to see his new look. DJ had what could only be described as an armored black and red bodysuit, with his gloves and boots being orange pieces of armor. An orange diamond adorned his chest, with Kaito's emblem on the center. His helmet was red, silver, and black, shaped like the Dinosaur Megazord of old with a faded golden 16 on his forehead.
"/RED~DOMEKA!!!/"
"Exterminate them!" Protrude snarled as he began to retreat.
The Mecha Ranger and Red Mecha fired, disarming a bolter who jumped at them with a spear. Red Mecha rolled after a spear tried to hit him and immediately retorted by kicking a bolter who tried to get Mecha Ranger from behind. The Mecha Ranger picked up the bolter who tried to stab Red and threw them into the ground. Many kicks, punches, flips, and offensive fire ensued, with Mecha Ranger and Red gaining the upper hand for a moment even when surrounded.

More troops arrived in hopes of defeating the two when the bolter's commander joined the fight.
Mecha Ranger and Red Mecha turned to the commander cautiously. Red and the Gearbreaker Commander locked eyes before charging at each other. It looked like a sumo wrestling match with the two trying to force each other off an imaginary circle.
The bolters turned their sights on Mecha Ranger, slowly overwhelming him by the second. Mecha Ranger looked at his belt and began opening it. He slammed it shut once he took out what he was searching for: A golden gear with a '40' adorned on its surface. He inserted it into his pistol without a second thought.
He fired at the sky, revealing a quintet of rangers with animalistic decals on their bodysuits.
"Power Rangers Animal Force!" the quintet shouted before fading away from reality, transforming Mecha Ranger's white and red cape into a pair of sharp metal eagle wings.
Mecha Ranger leapt forward to dodge a spear strike, but he was lifted off the ground because of his wings. "Woah! Didn't think this through!" changing his plans so he could use the wings to his advantage, Mecha Ranger made a quick swoop to his left to strike his attackers. He rolled to the right to avoid a spear that nearly gored his helmet. Mecha Ranger allowed himself to crash into the bolters and shot them all with precise blasts after jumping off one of those dastardly soldiers...
Red Mecha and the Gearbreaker Commander were evenly matched thanks to the transformation of Red Mega. The Gearbreaker Commander took his arms off Red and rammed his head against the 2nd Mecha Ranger. Red released his hold and did a roundhouse kick that flipped the Gearbreaker Commander onto the ground. Red landed the finishing blow as he leapt at the Gearbreaker Commander with a flying kick...
The two rolled their arms in sync before doing a fist bump while the loyal Gearbreaker bolter grunts erupted in a fiery explosion. Their victory was cut short when a massive Edenite erupted from the ground and destroyed the tower they grew from.
"I FOUND YOU, MECHA RANGER! TIME TO DIE!"
The two Mecha Verse Rangers stared at the giant robot who stomped into the park and scattered. Red Mecha pointed at the giant in annoyance.
"WELL, LOOK WHO DECIDED TO CRAP ON THE PARTY!"
"THAT'S RIGHT! I'M RUINING YOUR TIRADE!" the massive bolter roared as he charged a laser from his only eye. Mecha Ranger and Red Mecha barely had time to dodge the following blast.
Hiding behind Mecha Ranger's smashed up carts, the two looked at each other and tried to make a plan.
"Find an open space. Flip the coin in your gun!" Mecha Ranger whispered to Red Mecha.
Red Mecha looked at his gun. "Do you know if this can work?"
"If it doesn't, we'll think of something. Is that good?"
Red Mecha looked uncertainly up at the ice cream dripping down from the wrecked ice cream cart above him. Remembering the taste and the moment he and 1317 had shared with Kaito before the Gearbreakers attacked, he regained the motivation he needed to continue. "More than enough for me."
"Red Ranger! Red Megazord!" The Red Mecha's gun roared as he aimed it at the sky.
What he didn't expect was growing in height until a giant metal harness was fitted to his body. His harness covered him from head to toe, making him look like a giant red tyrannosaurus rex made out of titanium. The massive bolter charged forward, hitting Red Mecha with an uppercut.
Mecha Ranger dodged his ally's manic battle against the giant bolter. He was about to distract the giant foe when he was suddenly struck from behind by a now enraged Gearbreaker commander, who was doing everything he can to exterminate the feared White Ranger.
Red Mecha rolled over and dodged a hard stomp, noticing a fiery spark at the tip of his T-Rex head's mouthpiece. Before he could try again, he was grabbed by the tail by the bolter, who swung him into an apartment building. The bolter was about to hurl the giant metal T-Rex again when he was scorched by a burst of flames.
"HAH! That's what ya get, ya corncob!" Red Mecha laughed as he kicked the bolter away. The massive bolter got up in a daze, but he struggled to get his senses again.
Mecha Ranger dodged the hard slashes the Gearbreaker Commander attempted and retaliated with two precise blasts from his gun. The Gearbreaker Commander managed to swipe at Mecha Ranger but was met with a glowing white slash coming from a brown and silver sword the White Ranger summoned all of a sudden.
Mecha Ranger and Red Mecha nodded at each other. Red made a grin beneath his T-Rex head and charged. Mecha Ranger pressed a button on his sword and selected its 'rifle' option.
The bolter fired a laser at Red Mecha, but the newly christened second Mecha Ranger jumped over him and began firing a powerful jet of fire that defied physics...
Red Mecha flew backwards, curled up like a shrimp. His fire breath propelled him into the bolter rocketing to the sky. Seeing the city down below, Red kicked the bolter off his back and allowed the both of them to fall.
Red began, straightening his tail atop the bolter. He gored the bolter, frantically twisting his tail. As for Mecha Ranger, he got close to the Gearbreaker Commander and cranked his gun.
"Power Sword... PIERCE!"
"/RIDER CRITICAL SLASH!/"
"Gatling Blade... SHRED!"
The Gearbreaker Commander screamed in pain as Mecha Ranger hacked off his leg with his sword and began shredding his insides with the gun's four barrels.
The Gearbreaker Commander and the giant bolter gave silent roars before their bodies erupted like fireworks. Facing his new ally, Mecha Ranger watched the fiery explosion caused by Red Mecha before being struck by a brick wall of debris...

"Thanks for saving me back there," Kaito groaned in pain as he felt his cracked sternum. "We gotta prepare for more attacks, 1021..."
DJ grinned as he helped the limping Mecha Ranger. His own body was just as damaged, but he shrugged off the pain to correct his new friend. "Hey... my name's DJ now, Kaito. I'm done with numbers."
"Well, it fits you. I can't deny that." Kaito gave a soft smile before seeing the wreck that was his ice cream and cafe carts and sighed in disappointment. "It sucks that my carts were destroyed. That's... That's the only source of income I have to go to college."
"Well, stuff like that happens. We just keep going forward."
"Yes we do."
"Was Protrude serious when he called you a baker?"
"Yep! One reason why 1317 and I moved up here was because of the famine we have underground right now."
"Nice." Kaito and DJ made a fist-bump as they hobbled off. They were about to leave when police cars surrounded the two.
"Go City Police! Put your hands in the air!"
Kaito stared at them and raised his arms. He urged DJ to raise his arms up as well. What he didn't expect was DJ awkwardly waving his limbs around like he were at a rave party.
"DJ!" Kaito tried hissing to get the Edenite's attention. "DJ, stop waving your arms!"
"Hey Gearhead, are you a precambrian fossil?! Copy Kimchi right next to you and raise your arms!" a police officer called out before he got looks of disapproval from his fellow officers.
"What the?! That's uncalled for!" DJ cried out in outrage. "I just got out of the underground only to experience this already?"
Despite DJ's protests, the two were escorted off in cuffs as they were brought in for questioning...
The feline Edenite, 7115, climbed out of the rubble when everyone else had left. 7115 gasped and panted for oxygen. A few Edenites who used to be Gearbreaker bolters climbed out of the fallen wreckage as well. They were all wondering what they should do now that they had been abandoned by their own forces.

"Guilty as charged. I was ten when Kamen Rider Chronicle came out. I got to play the game at first when I was at Japan. It's a game where you actually fight living diseases called Bugsters."
A bulky figure with spiky hair and blazing orange eyes peered downward, spotting someone familiar.
"I got rescued by an actual Kamen Rider after I got shot." Kaito explained.
"Please! You need to help!" a black and green figure pulled out his glowing sword and leapt. An orchid praying mantis monster joined him as they defended 7115 from being shot at by a mushroom themed Edenite.
"DESTROY THOSE EDENITES!" Protrude roared out to the bolters serving with the Mushroom Edenite
"Ecto phase... Activate!"
"Hen... shin!"
