What's up, everyone! This is GKC here bringing you the next chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-G!

Gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of reviews from the last chapter. Hopefully, I get more this time.

Now for the disclaimer: I do not own, except my OCs, Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V or Gundam or other fictional material. All rights belong to their respective owners.

Now let's get this party started… BEGIN!

Chapter 6: Fangs of Rebellion

A day after my Duel with Sora, I decided to visit the hospital to check on Ruri and Rin. The doctors told me that the girls have yet to awaken but I have to believe they will wake up.

"Hey, you two," I said with a grin. "It's been a while since I last visited. You will not believe the weird week that I've been having. I dueled some obnoxious punk who tried to steal Yuya's cards and I had to duel a persistent sweet-loving brat who I know for a fact is an Academia spy. I know this is insensitive and all that but I'm kinda glad you two are here unconscious instead of meeting this kid."

The comatose Rin and Ruri said nothing. The only sign of movement from the two girls was the slow rise and fall of their chests from their breathing.

A gloom cloud settled over my head. I don't wanna feel like I'm wasting my time, but what can I do? Not like I can use telepathy.

"Where did you get that idea from?" Ray asked.

Something I learned after watching the OG King of Games, Yugi Mutou. He shared a bond with a 3000 year old Pharaoh who apparently looks just like him.

"I feel like I should know that name…"

Well, timeline wise, I think this is way too far into the future or something. Anyways, I guess I better get going, the girls will need all the rest they can get.

*RING! RING! RING!*

A brief chiming noise erupted from my D-Pad. The Caller ID on the screen revealed to be Shuzo. Wonder what the old guy wants?

"Hello?" I responded, putting the device up to my ear.

"Yusuke-kun! I know this is probably not a good time for you but my daughter and Ayu went out to grab ice cream for the boys. I know I shouldn't be worried but I'm worried. Could you go and meet them halfway on the way to the school?" Shuzo asked, sounding every bit like the frantic and worried father he was.

I sighed, "Alright, I'll meet up with them."

"Thank you! I owe you one big time!" Shuzo said, before hanging up.

Yeah, I'll hold you to it.

Placing my D-Pad back in my pocket, I focused my attention back on the girls before laying a hand on their heads. "I'll be back to visit soon. Promise. Just…get better." With those final words, I left the hospital room.

Sitting against the support pillar of the riverside Bridge, I waited for Yuzu and Ayu. Though it got boring after about two minutes, I passed the time by looking over my Decks.

"Huh, so my SEED era Deck focuses more on this type of Summoning Method. That will definitely be useful." I said to myself with a grin.

"SEED? As in plants?" I could feel Ray tilting her head.

"Not…exactly, per se." I sweat dropped. "Let's just say, it's a different era of Gundams, okay?"

"Yusuke-kun/Yusuke-niichan?" Two familiar voices said in unison, making me jump a bit and dropping a few of my cards.

"Oh man, my cards!?" I exclaimed in horror as a few of my monsters started flying towards the river.

"Ah! I'll get them, Yusuke-niichan!" I heard Ayu cry out as the little girl ran ahead and started hopping up in the air, grabbing a few of the cards that hovered a little too close to the water.

"Ayu, be careful, you're going to-" Yuzu called out.

"Kyahh!"

*SPLASH!*

CRAAAAAP!

Curse my reflexes to children in danger! My body reacted to Ayu about to fall in the river and I immediately pushed her out of the way along with the cards that could've gotten wet. However, instead of her falling in…I fell in the water instead.

"This…is just another Tuesday for me…" I grimaced, my spiky hair now dripping down over my forehead and my eyes.

"Yusuke-kun, are you okay?" Yuzu asked.

"Yeah, peach- ACHOO!"

Dammit, now I got a cold…how is that even possible?!

"Anyone have a towel?" I asked, rubbing my face before flinching back when a large pink towel was presented to me.

"Here." Yuzu offered with a giggle.

"Where were you…" I paused before the rest of the sentence came out. "Nevermind. Thanks." I accepted the towel as I walked out of the water, using it to dry off my face and hair.

"Well, at least you don't have to shower." Yuzu giggled.

"Oh, very funny." I rolled my eyes. I took off my shirt and began to squeeze it to drain the water out while the towel hung around my neck. "Your dad wanted me to walk you and Ayu back to the school. Sun is setting, after all. Cute girls shouldn't be out by themselves."

"Uh, Yuzu?" I said, as she was…staring at me, before seemingly snapping out of it.

"I-I'm sorry, what?" Yuzu got out.

Wait…was she checking me out? Oh god no…

Slipping my damp shirt back on, I quickly gathered my composure. "Your dad sent me. I'm here to walk you back to You Show. Ayu, can I please have my cards back?" I held out my hand to the little girl.

"Uh, sure." Ayu said, as she did as told, giving them back to me. Okay they're still dry. Good.

"Thanks." I placed the cards back in their assigned Deck and noticed the plastic bag held by Yuzu. "Guess you got the ice cream?"

"Yup! Want some when we get back?"

"Sure, why not?" I shrugged. "Shall we, ladies?" I gestured ahead like a proper gentleman, prompting both girls to giggle at me.

As we walked along the riverside path, I couldn't help but ask, "So, I'm guessing Yuya, Sora, and the boys were all chanting in unison for ice cream after a dueling session?"

"Yep." Ayu said, matter-of-factly with a smile.

"Jeez, if they wanted ice cream that much, they should get it themselves!" Yuzu complained with a small pout.

I chuckled, "Here's a little advice: Most men are lazy by default. They prefer others to get stuff and bring it to them."

Ayu chimed in, "But while complaining you still bought them a bunch, you're really nice Yuzu-oneechan!"

Suddenly, Yuzu paused in her step with a gasp, confusing me while Ayu seemed concerned.

"Onee-chan?" The little red-haired girl inquired.

Yuzu quickly brought a finger up to her lips while gesturing to the overpass above us. Walking the upper path without even noticing us were two of those nameless goons I remember back at LDS who held the kids hostage while I dueled Sawatari.

Wait, I feel like I'm forgetting something here…

"Sawatari-san is going all out, isn't he…" Goon #1 said.

"I'll do whatever it takes to crush that Gundam Duelist, he says," Goon #2 remarked in amusement. "Sounds like he's going to do something awful!"

I narrowed my eyes at the duo while the girls gasped quietly in shock.

Crap, what am I missing? This scene in particular is on the tip of my tongue. Where have I…

The rest of whatever the hell the two faceless losers said didn't matter to me but for some reason, Sawatari's focus is now on me.

"Sawatari!" I heard Yuzu's quiet growl before she decided to follow the goons with Ayu following her, surprised and confused.

"Ah, dammit." I cursed. Guess I better go after her. Knowing how the female lead in a Yu-Gi-Oh series always goes off on her own, that ends up leading to trouble.

Warehouse No.52

Something about that number was hauntingly familiar. God dammit, why did I have to have selective memories when it comes to events in certain anime?

"Yuzu-oneechan…" Ayu looked up at the pink-haired girl, "Shouldn't we let Yuya-oniichan know?"

Yuzu wasn't even focused on what Ayu said, she continued to stare at the warehouse that the two goons had entered.

Sighing, I knelt down beside Ayu and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Ayu-chan, head back to You Show and get Yuya. I'll stay here and keep Yuzu out of trouble, okay?"

"Yusuke-kun is right. Head back to the Duel School." Yuzu suddenly agreed even though she gave me a small glare for my comment about her causing trouble then handed off the bag filled with ice cream to the little girl before she took off towards the entrance.

"Ah, dang it, Yuzu! Don't run off like that!" I called out, following after her. Suddenly, above my peripheral vision, I thought I saw a figure standing on the roof of a warehouse. When I looked up, I saw the momentary fluttering of a tattered cloak then it was gone.

Wait…could that be…

I shook my head. No, can't focus on that right now. Lone girl is entering a warehouse with four boys her own age.

Getting focused, I ran after Yuzu. When I arrived, I had found the girl already calling out to the little worm known as Sawatari, "You coward!" She declared.

Peeking around the corner, I spotted Sawatari and his goon squad, the former hastily drinking a bottle of water after seemingly choking on eating a piece of pie.

Yuzu walked in, "I'll do whatever it takes to crush that Gundam Duelist, you said? I will never let you!"

When he recovered from his coughing fit, Sawatari looked at the girl in surprise, "Hiragi Yuzu!? Why are you here?!"

"I don't have to explain that to you!" Yuzu retorted. Then she pointed out, "You've got some pie crumbs on your mouth…"

"What?!"

"Sawatari-san, use this." One of the goons handed the stuck-up Duelist a clean cloth. Something that Sawatari accepted to swiftly clean his face.

Then I watched a small back and forth. Sawatari would start showboating to pass it off like one of those television dramas while Yuzu would interrupt him. Pretty funny to watch but kind of easy to blank out from.

Seemingly having enough, Sawatari exclaimed in comical annoyance. "Let me talk!"

"I don't plan on listening to you!" Yuzu countered. "You coward, sore-loser, second-rate duelist!"

Sawatari's brow twitched at the insult. "Second-rate, you said…?"

"No, you're even below that!" The pink-haired girl countered. "Third rate! Fourth! A hundred-rate duelist!"

Man, I forgot how savage Yuzu can be when she's mad. Guess she got your pushy attitude, Ray.

"Hey, I resent that!"

"You really are starting to get on my nerves." Sawatari growled, having a popped vein on one side of his face with gritting teeth while balling up his fist.

"I don't care! You're just a third-rate duelist with a fourth-rate deck!"

*GOOOOOONG!*

…did she really just quote Kaiba?

I noticed how Sawatari trembled for a second before glaring menacingly at Yuzu, "Now you've done it…"

One of Sawatari's goons closed the door to the warehouse, trapping Yuzu (and me) with the four LDS students.

"What you just said…" Sawatari growled, standing across from Yuzu, who had her D-Pad at the ready. "...if you want to take it back, now is your chance." He gave the Melodious Duelist his ultimatum.

"Too bad I don't feel like it, one bit!" Yuzu said, stubbornly. "You cowardly, sore-loser, hundred-rate duelist!"

Sawatari gritted his teeth in frustration, "That ignorant attitude of yours…" He took up his own D-Pad and placed it on his wrist. "I'm going to make you regret not knowing your place!"

Alright, enough is enough.

"The only one who should learn their place is you, Bakatori." I said, my voice producing an echoing effect due to the enclosed space of the warehouse as I stepped out from my hiding spot and revealed myself to all those present. "After all, a hundred-rate duelist such as yourself never had a chance against me. I doubt you'd be able to beat Yuzu."

"You!"

"Yeah, me."

"Yusuke!" Yuzu gasped. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, I had to follow you and make sure you weren't gonna do anything crazy and apparently ya did." I shrugged.

"I was looking for a chance to get my revenge on you!" Sawatari smirked. "Come on! Duel me, right now!"

"Not interested." I waved off his challenge, much to his shock.

"What?!"

"I've got no interest in dueling such a weakling. And besides, I'm not the one you'll be having a Duel." I said, much to the confusion of the teen until a cry of pain came from the entrance of the warehouse.

The door to the warehouse was open and the goon that had closed it was sent sliding across the ground in a heap. The assailant being revealed as a masked boy wearing a ragged, torn cloak with a red scarf, an apocalyptic breathing mask with goggles, and purple-gray hair that was spiky. The hair color reminds me of an eggplant.

Sawatari looked at the newcomer in suspense, "Who are you?"

The masked figure stood protectively in front of Yuzu, momentarily glancing at me before settling his hidden glare at Sawatari. "Back down." He told them as well as Yuzu.

This confused and annoyed the pink-haired girl, "Huh? What's with you?"

"Excuse me, who are you to-" Sawatari began.

"I'm not going to tell you again…" The masked figure said coldly. Hidden eyes landed on the LDS pin attached to the collar of Sawatari's uniform.

"Showing up all of a sudden…" Sawatari spoke, "...are you supposed to be the knight that's come to save the princess?"

The masked youth moved his left arm, exposing a Duel Disk of an unknown model to those in Standard. When it activated, it produced a curved black board with a violet blade.

"That's an odd duel disk you have there…" Sawatari commented before glaring at the interloper. "...so, you don't intend to answer my questions then?"

"Hold on, what're you doing butting in like this!?" Yuzu complained, preparing to equip her D-Pad. "This is my duel!"

However, the masked youth placed a hand on her elbow, stopping her from activating it. "I don't want you to get hurt anymore…" He said, melancholic and tender for a person that was not exactly Yuzu.

I wonder if I should tell him that he got the wrong person.

"Obviously, you should."

But why though?

"Avoid all the craziness that might happen?"

It's gonna happen either way. Did you forget that everyone keeps mistaking Yuya and Yuzu as different people despite the fact that they may share the same face, but they have different eyes, hair colors, and Decks? Yugo, especially, seems to have only the stupid factor of Zarc.

Sawatari chuckled in mock amusement, "Well, aren't you cool?" He spoke. "But you should leave it at that, Knight-kun. You'll just embarrass yourself."

The youth gave no response.

"This'll be the perfect chance to test out my new deck." Sawatari said, activating his Duel Disk while giving me an eager glare. "Watch closely, Fujimaru! After I crush this wannabe hero, you'll be next!"

Yeah, not likely.

"I'll leave it to you then…" I said to the masked knight, before adding in a low voice so that Sawatari wouldn't hear it, "...Yuuto…"

The hidden gray eyes widened in surprise as the Xyz counterpart of Yuya looked at me in surprise, "How did you-"

"Focus. You have a Duel to win." I whispered. "We'll have our chat later."

Yuuto looked at me in suspicion, but he cooled his features and focused back on Sawatari.

"DUEL!" Both boys declared in unison.

Yuuto LP: 4000

Sawatari LP: 4000

"I'll go first!" Yuuto declared after drawing his starting hand.

"Go ahead," Sawatari said with a smirk. "Knight-kun."

"I set all five cards in my hand, face-down!" Yuuto declared, playing his entire hand as five holographic cards appeared, shocking both his opponent and the girl he believed to be his secret girlfriend. "I end my turn."

While everyone else was stupefied by Yuuto's play, I understood how his Deck worked. The Phantom Knights archetype had always been a tricky, high-risk, high-reward type of play style to me. Not many players I know use it but it's still pretty effective, especially against Duelists that are not familiar with it.

So, while I smirked at the inevitable, Sawatari was busy laughing his rich ass off. "Whoa now, you come in acting all cool, and that's all you can do?"

"Sawatari-san, end him!" The green-haired goon cheered his boss on.

"You didn't draw a single monster?" Sawatari questioned his opponent in between giggles. "I feel sorry for you, you don't get it, do you?"

"Didn't you hear me?" Yuuto mocked the egotistical duelist. "I ended my turn."

"Huh?" Sawatari drawled in annoyance. He smirked wickedly at Yuuto, "I'll show you my perfect dueling. My turn. Draw!" He drew his sixth card and looked at it. "Allow me to use those set cards of yours. If there are two or more cards in my opponent's Spell or Trap Zone, I can Special Summon this card from my hand! Come forth, Escher the Frost Vassal!"

After playing the card, a monster dressed in ice-themed armor and sitting Indian style over a flat yet jagged surface of ice appeared (4/ATK: 800/DEF: 1000).

"And now I release Escher and Advance Summon…" Sawatari continued his play, removing Escher's card and playing a new one. "Mobius the Frost Monarch!"

Crystals suddenly emerged from the ground before a sky blue fist in armor broke through, eventually shattering all of them. Appearing from the ice is a tall monster clad from head-to-toe in peerless sky blue and indigo armor that had a glacial gleam due to how flawless the armor looked. It was an ensemble fit for a king (6/ATK: 2400/DEF: 1000).

The goon that Yuuto knocked away from the door began to cheer, "Alright! In an instant, he summoned a 2400 ATK monster!"

"Mobius' effect activates!" Sawatari declared. "When this card is successfully Advanced Summoned, I can choose two Magic or Trap Cards on the field, and destroy them! Freeze Burst!"

As his explanation began, Mobius had already begun to gather an orb of energy between his palms before releasing a literal blizzard at Yuuto's field. When that happened, the two far right cards on Yuuto's field lifted up, revealing them to be Magic Cards before dissolving into simulated dust. However, this didn't seem to affect the Phantom Knights Duelist.

"I'm just getting started!" Sawatari sneered, showing off an Ultra Rare card due to the shiny gleam off the surface. "I activate the Magic Card: Advance Carnival from my hand!" Playing the card, the boy began to explain the card's effect. "This card allows me to Advance Summon again after one Advance Summon succeeds!"

Yuzu gasped, "He's going to release the 2400 ATK Mobius and Advance Summon another monster?"

"Obviously. It's one of the strengths of the Monarch archetype." I explained, watching the Duel, bored.

"That's right!" Sawatari smirked wickedly. "I release Mobius the Frost Monarch and Advance Summon!"

Mobius crossed his arms as a glowing light emerged beneath his feet. The Level 6 monster vanished into motes of green light before a new version of the Monarch took his place. This time, Mobius was taller, his armor possessed more spikes, and the armor was bulkier (8/ATK: 2800/DEF: 1000).

"Come forth, Mobius the Mega Monarch!" Sawatari finished the declaration of his newest monster. "Usually, this would require releasing two monsters but, if it is a monster that was successfully Advanced Summoned, you can release it and count it as two! This is the power of Mobius the Mega Monarch!"

"Oh wow, you actually managed to use a card that was part of the old generation of Duel Monsters." I said, sarcastically. "Good for you. Want a cookie?"

*POP!*

"You really like to piss him off, don't you?"

He's a prick. Plain and simple.

Sawatari growled before continuing his play, "Mobius the Mega Monarch's effect activates! When this card is successfully Advanced Summoned, I can choose three Magic or Trap Cards on the field, and destroy them!"

One of Sawatari's goons spoke, mockingly, "Hey, Knight-kun, how about using those cards before they get destroyed?"

Sawatari snickered wickedly, "It'd be pointless! If this monster was Advance Summoned using a WATER-attribute monster, Mobius the Mega Monarch prevents the targeted cards from being activated!"

A gale of icy wind began to gather around Mobius' large forearms, preparing to deliver the blow.

"Freeze and shatter! Blizzard Destruction!" Sawatari commanded as Mobius unleashed a powerful blizzard that destroyed the last of Yuuto's face-down cards.

The freezing gust blew through Yuuto, Yuzu, and I. Due to the Solid Vision technology that Yuuto had in his Duel Disk, the chill from the wind was quite real.

"Eh? How come I can feel the wind even though this isn't an Action Field?" Yuzu questioned, confused.

"With this, all of your set cards have been destroyed and your hand is at zero." Sawatari said, mockingly. "On top of that, you don't have any wall monsters out. After that cool entrance, this is pretty pathetic."

Yuzu loomed at her supposed savior, "Hey, you need to get it together! If this is all you can do then it'd be better if you let me-" However, one sharp look from the masked Yuuto was enough to make the pink-haired girl pause.

"Now then, my gloomy Knight-kun." Sawatari continued his egotistical behavior. "I'm sorry for the rude awakening but I'd appreciate it if you stepped down from the stage. After all, I still have a score to settle." He said, glaring at me. "Battle phase! I make a direct attack with Mobius the Mega Monarch!"

A flurry of ice and snow surrounded Mobius as the spikes on his armor glowed cyan and began growing to larger proportions.

Suddenly, Yuuto acted, "I activate the Magic Card in my graveyard: Phantom Knights Shadow Veil!"

Just like that, the goon squad exclaimed in surprise.

"Huh?!"

"From the graveyard-?!"

"A Magic Card?!"

Sawatari was equally shocked. "You're going to activate a Magic Card from the Graveyard, you said!?"

Yuuto pulled out a card from his GY Slot and showed it, revealing the image to be one of the cards that Mobius had destroyed. When he moved his fingers a bit, it showed that he held three of the same card in his hand "When a direct attack is declared, I can Special Summon as many of these cards as monsters as possible." He places all three cards on the surface of his Duel Disk board horizontally.

Three ghostly Knights riding upon black steeds all materialized on Yuuto's field (4/ATK: 0/DEF: 300).

"When the cards Special Summoned using this effect are sent to the Graveyard, they are banished!" Yuuto finished explaining the rest of the effect.

"Not bad." I commented with a nod of approval. Even though I knew that Shadow Veil, despite being a Magic Card in this dimension, was actually a Trap Card back in mine. My guess is, the writers and animators forgot that Trap Monsters existed and momentarily turned Shadow Veil into a Magic Monster for the anime only.

"You set those cards intending to use their abilities to Special Summon them then?" Yuzu questioned.

Sawatari huffed, "Hmph, they're just wall monsters you summoned while you were flustered! I'll destroy them! Go, Mobius the Mega Monarch! Attack Shadow Veil! Imperial Charge!"

Mobius released a battle cry as the giant Monarch dashed towards one of the Shadow Veils and impaled the ghostly knight on his spikes before it shattered into pixels.

"When destroyed, the Shadow Veil is sent to the Graveyard and is then banished." Yuuto said, removing the destroyed Shadow Veil from the GY Slot and placing it in the Banish Zone.

"Looks like you just barely saved yourself this time…" Sawatari said, smirking. He played a card on his Duel Disk board. "I set one card and end my turn!" And cue the egotistical monologue, "I guess I'll let you live one more turn."

"Neo Sawatari is so cool!" The goon squad gushed.

"There will be no next turn for you." Yuuto said, coldly.

And here comes the epic comeback from the Xyz Yu-boy.

"What?" Sawatari gritted his teeth in annoyance.

"My turn. Draw!" Yuuto declared, drawing a single card from his Deck. He looked at the image of the card before speaking, "I thought you'd put up more of a fight but…" He sounded disappointed. "Your dueling…" This time he sounded serious. "I don't feel the sharpness of a blade or the power of a bullet in it. Not even a fragment of it."

This seemed to only anger the loudmouth Duelist. "What was that?"

Yuuto ignored the bantering and laughter of Sawatari's goons and continued, "All the conditions have been met. When there are two monsters with the same level on my field, my deck's evolution manifests itself!"

"Here it comes…" I mumbled, watching with interest while Yuzu gasped in surprise.

"I use the two Level 4 Shadow Veils to construct the Overlay Network!" Yuuto declared as both his Phantom Knights monsters turned into dark purple lights that flew into the air before descending and entering a dark vortex layered with golden stars before a burst of light erupted from the dark hole.

"It can't be-?!" Sawatari exclaimed.

"That's-!" Yuzu added, equally shocked.

"Formed from pitch-black darkness, to fight those foolish enough to oppose its treacherous fangs! Descend, now! Xyz Summon! Rank 4, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"

Dark Rebellion had glowing yellow eyes, which made its slick black and dark purple scales more pronounced. The dragon also had skeleton-like wings. Purple electricity was charged, and occasionally flickers between the beast's wings. Two long, black mandibles protruded from Dark Rebellion's chin, and the dragon screeched loudly into the gray, smoke-covered sky (R: 4/OU: 2/ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000).

"N-No! An Xyz Monster?!" Sawatari gawked with stunned stupor.

"Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's effect activates. By removing one Overlay Unit until the end of this turn, it can lower one Level 5 or greater monster on my opponent's side of the field ATK by half, and Dark Rebellion's ATK increases by that amount. Treason Discharge!"

As he said this, one of Dark Rebellion's Overlay Units enters the gemstone on its right claw (OU: 2-1). The skeletal wings opened to reveal what seem to be biological generators before purple electricity was discharged and struck Mobius, binding it in electric sealant.

Mobius the Mega Monarch (ATK: 2800-1400)

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (ATK: 2500-3900)

"Dark Rebellion's ATK-!" Goon #1 exclaimed.

"It's over Mobius's!" Yuzu finished.

"No way!" Sawatari cried out in comical disbelief.

"I'm not finished!" Yuuto remarked. "I use the last remaining overlay unit and activate Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's effect!"

Dark Rebellion released another roar as its last Overlay Unit entered the gemstone on its body (OU: 1-0).

"So that means he can do the same thing again?!" Goon #1 questioned.

"This is bad!" All three goons cried out.

"Treason Discharge!" Yuuto declared as his Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon once again drained Mobius of his strength and added it onto the dragon's own.

Mobius the Mega Monarch (ATK: 1400-700)

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (ATK: 3900-4600)

"An ATK of 4600!" Yuzu cried out.

"No, no, no way!" Sawatari couldn't believe that he had been outplayed.

Yuto held out his hand. "Battle Phase! I attack Mobius the Mega Monarch with Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" The purple gemstones on the dragon's body began to pulse as electricity channeled throughout its body. The electricity condensed towards its skeletal wings, forming a plasma membrane. "Go! Crush that glacier with your fangs! Revolt of the Lightning! Disobey!"

Yuto's dragon flew towards Mobius as the protruding mandibles on Dark Rebellion's chin glowed with plasma and electricity before skewering the Mega Monarch right in the chest. The resulting clash caused an explosion that sent Sawatari flying with a cry while harsh wind, debris, and smoke flew towards the spectators. Yuto quickly shielded Yuzu when he realized she was in the path of the debris.

Sawatari LP: 100

"You okay?" Yuto asked.

"U-Uh… yeah." Yuzu nodded dumbly. "Thanks…"

Sawatari got up with some effort, and gave a pained grunt. The boy managed to raise himself up into a sitting position. Yuto, seeing that his goggles were cracked and broken, took them off of his eyes for fear of any glass getting in it. Small flames licked at the floor and sides of the abandoned yet occupied warehouse. The furniture Sawatari had brought in was destroyed, and scattered across the warehouse.

"I'll only ask you once, and you will answer me properly!" Yuuto threatened, his voice almost hissing as he spoke while presenting an LDS badge. "What is your connection with Academia?"

"A-Academia?!" Sawatari spoke with confusion, and admittedly, slight fear. The teenager shrugged at Yuto's question. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb!" Yuto demanded.

"I mean it!" The egotistical Duelist insisted. "Anyone who's enrolled in LDS has a badge like that! I don't know anything about this Academia or whatever! I swear!"

Believing his words, Yuto said simply, "Then I have no business with you." He turned around and began to walk away, even though the Duel wasn't over.

Shingo smirked, "Idiot! The Duel isn't over yet!" He declared, pressing a button on his D-Pad. "Trap Activate: Ice Rage Shot! This card can be activated when a WATER-type monster on my field is destroyed in battle. It destroys one of my opponent's monsters and deals damage to them equal to its ATK!"

Yuzu and the stooges gasped in shock, and looked towards Yuto's Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. However, Yuto didn't even bother turning around at this turn of events.

Shingo continued nonetheless. "Your Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon is destroyed, and I'll have you take its ATK of 4600 in damage! So you lose!" He cheered, celebrating a victory he didn't win quite yet. The brunette tilted his head back and laughed boisterously. "I read your move and planned ahead by setting that trap card and now I've won!"

"Such cheap tactics." Yuto stopped walking away. "It's child's play honestly."

Sawatari seemed shocked at Yuto's words. "What was that!?"

Yuto raised his hand, back still turned from Shingo. "I activate from my Graveyard the Continuous Spell Card: Phantom Death Spear!" The spell suddenly appeared on the field, and glowed brightly. Before the card seemed to invert on itself, and turned into an actual spear surrounded by a red ring as if from the Underworld itself. "When my opponent's Trap Card is activated; by banishing this card from my Graveyard, I negate the effect of the Trap card that triggered it and destroy it."

Sawatari's eyes trembled in shock as his last shot at victory was shattered right in front of him.

Yuto still didn't look back as he spoke. "And then! It deals 100 points of damage to my opponent!"

The ego-centric Duelist flailed his arms comically, sweat dripping down his face as he began to panic. "Wait. Wait. Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! WAIT!" His words began to rise into a yell as he repeated the word frantically.

Yuto finally turned to face his defeated opponent, and pointed at the boy. "Experience this with your very own flesh! The rage and sorrow of the battlefield!"

The spear flew towards Sylvio, and a few tears sprung in the teenager's eyes as he actually thought he was about to die. He was thrown back against the wall harshly, and thankfully, was still alive. Though he was definitely shaken from the ordeal, as the spear had torn a hole into his school jacket and pinned him against the wall of the warehouse. The brunette didn't dare blink or say a word through his gritted teeth lest something else happen to him.

Sawatari LP: 0

Yuto LP: 4000

WINNER: Yuto

With the duel now over, and a winner declared. Everything within the duel and battlefield vanished and dissipated into a bunch of yellow particles and blew away in the wind. Sawatari slumped down against the ground, the teenager having passed out from his brink with death and from his duel. But everyone still saw as Yuto finally removed the filter around his mouth. While it was no surprise to me, everyone else saw Yuya's face right there and then. Despite the different hair style, coloration, and eye color.

"Y-Y-Yuya?" Shingo stuttered, before finally succumbing to his exhaustion and adrenaline rush, and passed out. His goon squad quickly ran over to collect and carry him out of the warehouse.

"Yuya?!" Yuzu looked at Yuto in unabashed shock. "Yuya! What are you doing here?"

Yuto glanced at Yuzu for a second before his gaze focused on me. "What do you know about me?"

"That's something that will have to wait when we meet again." I told him before Yuzu's bracelet began to glow, surprising the pink-haired girl. Then in a flash of light, Yuto was gone.

"Wait, what?" Yuzu looked around, completely confused. "Yuya?"

"Yuzu!" A familiar echoing cry rang before a certain tomato-haired teen arrived at the entrance of the warehouse.

"Yuya?" Yuzu repeated, surprised that the boy she secretly liked had arrived but now wearing his original outfit.

"Are you okay?" Yuya asked the Melodious Duelist.

"Yuya…" The girl mumbled. "You're Yuya, aren't you?"

"Huh? What're you talking about, Yuzu?" The upcoming Entertainment Duelist inquired.

"Then that wasn't Yuya…?" Yuzu pondered to herself.

"What?" Yuya looked absolutely confused. "Why does this place smell like smoke?"

"I'm here too, you know?" I pointed out, getting Yuya's attention.

"Oh, uh, hey, Yusuke! Sorry about that, I got worried about Yuzu." The Odd-Eyes Duelist admitted.

"It's fine. I'd be worried too if I heard that my girlfriend was in danger." I said, subtly teasing the tomato-haired teen while strolling right past the two with the boy blushing heavily while Yuzu was thinking about Yuto.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Yuya denied, vehemently.

Ah, so amusing to watch a teenager fumble with their hormones.

The next day came and went by rather quickly. A good night's sleep was just what I needed. Though maybe telling that I knew about Yuto would surely backfire on me. Most likely, it will get me on Shun's little mad hunt for Fusion users.

Just my luck that I happen to have Fusion monsters. But I'm not really worried about fighting a guy that uses metal birds for monsters.

"Are you sure that you should be so casual about this?" Ray asked me.

Probably not but it's not like I've had a serious Duel yet. Only ones that I can see giving me trouble right now would be Akaba Reiji, and maybe, possibly Shun.

"Just…don't let overconfidence get to you. Better Duelists have fallen to such an attitude before."

Oh, please. The only one who loses constantly with that kind of behavior is Sawatari. From what I remember, he has never won a Duel. Every other Duelist I know that has been designated as comic relief has won more Duels than him. Kinda weird how he gets made into a Lancer despite how useless he is. Maybe they kept him around for a human shield.

"I guess…that would make sense. But surely, he has some skill if my half-brother is willing to let him help save the Dimensions." Ray tried to see the bright side in Sawatari's involvement.

Eh, we'll see. I'll admit, despite his behavior and his useless boasts, he has some decent Dueling skills, even if they are only good enough for a beginner.

Going fast makes me feel alive!

My heartbeat's in hyperdrive!

Ah, getting a call. Collecting my D-Pad, I answered the caller, "Hello, this is Yusuke speaking."

"Fujimaru-san? It's Dr. Akashi. I'm here to tell you that I have news about the girls."

My heart stopped when I heard this. "Is something wrong? Are Ruri and Rin all right?" I asked, a bit scared of what I might hear.

"No, no, no! Nothing is wrong with them. In fact, I just came to inform you that the girls are showing signs of activity."

"You mean-"

"Yes. The girls are awake."

A/N: And that shall be the end of the chapter.

So, hopefully, this keeps your interest in this story going because once the LDS vs You Show arc comes around, that's when things will start to change.

Also, I've been coming up with some additional Duelists for the Maiami Championship and I think you readers are going to really like it.

The Rush Duel Deck aces are still up if anyone is interested. You just need to provide the effect, appearance, and possible ATK and DEF of them. Here is what is still available.

Blue-Tooth Gundam (Level 7/Effect)

Red-Boost Gundam (Level 7/Effect)

Gold-Access Gundam (Level 6/Effect)

Violet-Delete Gundam (Level 8/Fusion)

Verde-Data Gundam (Level 8/Fusion)

Amber-Code Gundam (Level 8/Fusion)

White-Vaccine Gundam (Level 10/Fusion)

Black-Virus Gundam (Level 10/Fusion)

Those are the ace monsters. If you're having trouble on what the aesthetics of the Gundams might be then I'll give you a helpful hint: Their theme is related to cyberware and color.

Anyways, reviewers, be they Guest or otherwise, are free to petition OC Gundam cards for different Decks. If there is a specific Deck you would like a card in, tell me and I will give you a response. However, be sure to add the name, what summoning method is used, the attack and defense points, the effect if it has one, and the appearance.

Review and comment on this chapter. Love it, hate it, but just know that you've read it.

Peace out, everyone!
