'Man, you should've hit those thugs harder. They broke your phone and the best you could do is 1 face punch?'. Sam asked.
'1st off, that was an old phone. 2nd, Hetty warned us that if we get arrested again for another bar fight, we would have to bail ourselves out.' Callen replied.
'When did you go all soft all of a sudden? The old Callen would've beaten the crap out of anyone who broke your stuff.'
'Maybe I grew up and decided to save the roughness for the tougher guys.'
Sam didn't buy any of that for a minute.
Sure enough, the next day when both of them got cornered in an alleyway and had to hand over their phones, Callen looked ready to blow a gaskert. Sam actually had to pull him off the suspect after breaking his nose!
'See? I told you you were bluffing.'
'Hey! I paid good money for that phone!' Callen defended himself.
