"Can't believe we're actually swimming to a mermaid castle under the ocean," said Apple, who had turned into a mermaid and was swimming with Raven and Meeshell.
"Sorry that I'm always putting you in these kinds of positions," said Raven.
"Hey, I'd rather be somewhere interesting like now rather than at home, sitting around doing nothing," said Apple before kissing her girl's cheek.
"Wait, are the two of you a couple?" asked Meeshell as she led them down a small cliff to the sea floor.
"We are," said Raven.
"I thought only Coral and I were like this," said Meeshell.
"I mean I've never heard of other couples who were like us where both people were the same gender, but at the same time I have never been to the surface until recently," she said.
"There aren't many on the surface either, but we know a few other gay couples so it's not that rare actually," said Apple.
"I have always told my grandfather that there was more to learn from the surface but he refused to listen," said Meeshell. The three then approached a large cliff that had a massive castle and city at the bottom.
"So, you're grandfather is in there?" asked Apple while looking at the castle.
"And so is Coral," said Meeshell.
"Hault!" said a voice from nearby. They then noticed a small group of soldiers swimming toward them.
"I am Princess Meeshell Mermaid, I'm here to talk with my grandfather," said Meeshell as she floated in front of the other two.
"And who are these two?" asked the head knight as he glared at Raven and Apple.
"They are royals from the surface who are also wanting to talk with him," said Meeshell.
"Very well, follow me," said the head knight.
"Be careful, we don't know if we can trust him or anyone else," said Raven over a mental link she had created with the other two girls.
