The Great Hall fell into momentary silence as Lily Potter's voice resounded through the room, her anger palpable. " HERMIONE CASSIOPEIA POTTER! " she yelled, causing many students to cover their ears. " YOU ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE, YOUNG LADY. "
Remus and Regulus, sitting at the high table, shared a chuckle as they clinked their mugs together.
Lily continued, her voice filled with frustration, " I DISTINCTLY REMEMBER THAT I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET IN TROUBLE, AND YOU GO AND...AND DECIDE TO MAKE BLOOD RAIN ON THE GREAT HALL ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT- "
"You have to admit, it was great," Sirius' voice interrupted.
" What do you even mean by brilliant ?" Lily shrieked.
" Pads says great, but I would like to say that it was wonderful ," James Potter's voice chimed in. " Principessa, you don't know how proud I am of you ."
" She came out like this because of you two ," Lily shouted in frustration.
" Lils, why are you yelling at me again now? " said James's voice, " you did that last night ."
" Anyway, HERMIONE ," Lily screamed suddenly, making Adhara almost fall off the bench, " IF I, AND I REPEAT RECEIVE A LETTER FROM MCGONAGALL SAYING THAT YOU'VE PLAYED ANOTHER PRANK, I'M GOING TO DRAG YOU STRAIGHT HOME BY THAT THING YOU CALL HAIR."
"Excuse you," James said in an offended voice, "Mia got her beautiful hair from me."
"James's hair is beautiful," Sirius's voice added, " it's definitely the Black genes in her."
"OH, MY GOD! CAN YOU TWO SHUT THE FUCK UP?" Lily squealed.
But Lily's tirade wasn't over. The howler, addressed to Remus, causing him to stop smiling. " REMUS JOHN LUPIN ," the howler boomed, " YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WATCH YOUR NIECE, NOT ENCOURAGE HER, SHE HASN'T EVEN A FUCKING MONTH AT HOGWARTS AND SHE'S ALREADY IN DETENTION. WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? SLEEPING? DRINKING FUCKING TEA? YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION TO GIVE HER ALL THE DETENTIONS YOU WANT IF SHE DOES SOMETHING STUPID LIKE HER FATHER -"
" Lily, you shouldn't say that, " Sirius's voice said, " you're insulting us Marauders fools. "
Mia giggled as she listened to her father and her uncle argue with her mother.
" Stupid fucking Marauders, " Lily said frustratedly.
"I'M SORRY ," James screeched, " What do you mean by stupid? We are not stupid ."
" We were Minnie's favorite students ," Sirius shouted.
Mia looked at Headmistress McGonagall and saw that she was snickering, while Adhara and Theo were shaking with laughter as they leaned on each other, and Jace looked at the Howler with wide eyes.
" I don't really know what the fuck I was thinking the day I married James," said Lily's voice.
" That's not Monny's or my fault, " Sirius said, amused, and a thump was heard.
" SIRIUS ORION BLACK, " Lily screeched, " DID YOU JUST...DID YOU JUST THROW A CUSHION AT ME ?"
" Sure did, " Sirius's voice was heard, half amused, half scared.
Suddenly, many noises were heard as Lily was heard chasing after Sirius, who tried to escape the whirlwind that was Lily Evans.
" Mia, principessa ," James's voice was heard, tremendously proud, " you don't know how happy I am that you are continuing the legacy of the Marauders. That's my girl! When you come back for Christmas, your Uncle Padfoot, your Uncle Moony, and I will teach you and Addie some Marauders tips and tricks. Say hello to Minnie for us ."
" JAMES CHARLUS POTTER, " Lily's voice was heard, "I HOPE FOR YOUR SAKE, THAT YOU ARE NOT ENCOURAGING YOUR DAUGHTER TO CONTINUE PLAYING PRANKS. "
" My daughter is a Marauder," James shouted.
More bangs and muffled screams could be heard in the background as the Howler turned into ashes.
"I love your family," Theo said, wiping away his tears from laughing so much.
The pranks of the Four Horsemen did not stop there. Smoke bombs in the classes, tables suspended on the ceiling of the Great Hall, and even showers that mysteriously delivered only cold water became part of their repertoire.
"HORSEMEN," McGonagall screamed, her patience clearly worn thin, "detention on Saturday."
Mia, Theo, Jace, and Adhara couldn't help but burst into had put up speakers all over Hogwarts making the students and teachers wake up at four a.m. receiving detention from Minerva McGonagall herself.
"Minnie you love us," the quartet said.
"High five," Remus said excitedly to his nieces, "I've never laughed so much in my life."
"REMUS JOHN LUPIN," McGonagall shouted, "YOU ARE PUNISHED TOO."
Remus stammered, "But...but, I'm a Professor."
"I don't care," McGonagall retorted, her authority clear as she returned to her bedroom.
Remus turned to Mia, sighing, "Your mother is going to murder us both when she sees us tomorrow."
Adhara and Jace had also received several Howlers from their mothers, and Adhara couldn't help but complain, "I think it's very unfair that Teddy didn't get any Howler."
Theo chuckled and responded, "Addie, my mother is five meters under; I find it very unlikely."
"TEDDY, NO!" Several tones of disapproval were heard as Adhara sprayed him with water.
Regulus urged, "Guys, go to sleep."
The next morning, as the quartet disembarked from the Hogwarts Express, they spotted their extremely angry mothers in the distance, searching through the crowd.
"Guys," Mia said with a dramatic air, "if we don't see each other after Christmas, know that I have thought fondly of you."
Mia and Adhara slowly approached where their parents were while swallowing hard. Their fathers looked at them amused while their mothers were furious.
"Adhara I love you, you are my best friend and you always will be," Mia said, hugging Adhara dramatically.
Adhara joined in, "Hermione, I love you too, I'm too young to die. I haven't had my first kiss yet."
Suddenly, a strong tug on their ears sent sharp pain through Mia and Adhara as their mothers yanked them toward the group.
"Ouch, ouch," Mia complained, "let go."
"Mom, that hurts," Adhara protested.
"HERMIONE CASSIOPEIA POTTER! ADHARA LUCRETIA MALFOY!" Lily and Narcissa yelled simultaneously, causing Mia and Adhara to flinch.
"YOU ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE, YOUNG LADIES," Narcissa and Lily shouted.
Mia and Adhara pouted, looking up at their parents and trying to persuade them to release their poor ears. Sirius and James couldn't help but laugh while Lucius smirked.
"JAMES CHARLUS POTTER! SIRIUS ORION BLACK! STOP LAUGHING," Lily screeched, "YOU TOO, LUCIUS MALFOY, WIPE THAT SMILE OFF YOUR FACE."
Lucius promptly wiped the grin off his face, realizing that Lily Potter's anger was nothing to trifle with, especially considering his wife's Black temperament.
"But they were very innocent pranks," Mia and Adhara protested, pouting.
Lily was not in the mood for negotiations. "I curse the day I decided to have children with you, James Potter," she muttered, her eyes narrowed. Without further ado, she dragged her husband and daughter away from the station, Mia still firmly held by her ear.
"Mum, I'm literally the best of the year, and Addie is literally right behind me, just ask Minnie," Mia said, crossing her arms.
Lily sighed, feeling a mixture of exasperation and affection. "First of all, she's Headmistress McGonagall to you, young lady, and second, why can't you avoid getting into trouble?"
Mia shrugged. "Because Hogwarts is otherwise very boring, plus I'm the daughter of the leader of the Marauders. There are high expectations for me to continue their legacy."
Lily frowned and muttered, "You are so much like your father; it makes me want to strangle you both."
Mia grinned, her arrogance showing. "But you love us anyway."
Lily couldn't help but smile. "Unfortunately, I love you both too much."
"Can I go play Quidditch with Addie now?" Mia asked, adopting an innocent expression.
"Of course," Lily said, tucking a strand of hair behind her daughter's ear. "But be careful."
"I'll have it," Mia said excitedly, running toward the garden.
During their Christmas holiday, Mia and Adhara had a fantastic time with their family. They built snowmen, sipped hot chocolate with marshmallows, and even played pranks on their uncles and parents.
"I want you to have this," James said, handing a parchment and a cloth to his daughter.
Mia examined the items curiously and asked, "What is it?"
"It's the Marauders' Map and the Invisible Cloak," James whispered, winking at his daughter. "Make good use of them, you know what I mean."
Mia hugged her father, grateful. "Thank you very much."
"Say hello to Minnie for us," James added with a chuckle.
Mia and Addie got on the Hogwarts Express looking for an empty compartment when they heard a scream and a familiar voice.
"PRINCESS, WE'RE HERE!" Jace shouted, sticking his head out of a compartment.
Mia grumbled, "I'll kill him," as several students turned to look at them. "I'm going to kill him one of these days."
Adhara attempted to calm her friend. "Mia, honey, relax. We can always play a prank on His his hair color a bit."
Mia's eyes lit up. "You've read my mind."
Theo noticed the objects Mia was carrying and asked, "What's that?"
Mia assumed a solemn voice, "This, my young Padawan, is the Marauders' Map and the Invisible Cloak."
Jace, intrigued, questioned, "The what map?"
Mia explained, "The Marauders Map is a map that my father and uncles created during their time at Hogwarts." She pulled out her wand and said, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
Words began to appear on the map, which Theo read aloud. "Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs are proud to present THE MARAUDER'S MAP."
Mia proudly displayed the map, showing them all the corners and secret passages of Hogwarts. "It's impossible to deceive the map."
Theo's fascination was evident. "We're going to have a lot of fun with this."
"They're just like their parents," Minerva protested, walking to one side of her office in frustration.
"Minerva, calm down," Filius Flitwick advised.
Minerva scoffed, "Calm down? Those two are going to drive me crazy."
Pomona Sprout chimed in, "Besides, Minerva, Lucius Malfoy was not a Marauder."
"But his wife has Black blood," Minerva argued, "the same blood as Sirius and Regulus Black, and they were both little shits in their own way."
Poppy pointed out, "But you have to admit that you yourself enjoyed the Marauders' pranks."
Minerva huffed, "I merely admired the magic behind every prank, nothing more." She sat down, still clearly exasperated.
Filius couldn't resist a teasing comment. "What bothers you, Minerva, is that Hermione Potter and Adhara Malfoy are not from your house."
Minerva shook her head, her frustration giving way to a wry smile. "I expected it from Miss Malfoy, but from Miss Potter? She doesn't make sense. Her parents were Gryffindors, her grandfather was a Gryffindor. When in the history of Hogwarts has a Potter been seen in Slytherin?"
Pomona mused, "When have a Malfoy and a Potter been friends? And yet, Hermione and Adhara are best friends."
Filius added, "You will never see one without the other."
Poppy, who had been listening with amusement, suggested, "Minerva, I think I'm going to prescribe you some painkillers. Because next year, Harry Potter will start school, and I have a slight feeling that he will be just like his sister."
Minerva groaned, "Don't remind me," and she hid her face behind her hands while Poppy, Pomona, and Filius laughed heartily at the exasperated headmistress.
