During the night, a couple of delinquents were hanging around talking about the recent incidents with no care in the world.
"Hey did you see what happened on the news?"
"Yeah, but I wish I was there to see it in person."
"It was like watching Godzilla and Gamera come to life, it was real awesome how they destroyed the city."
"Yeah, it was."
All of a sudden the delinquents heard a growl near them
"What the hell was that?"
"Probably a stray dog or cat."
"Anyway I hear that some shops aren't open, feel like some late night fun?"
Before anyone could answer they heard the growl again this time it was much closer.
"What is that?" one of them asked before picking up a rusty pipe just a few feet from himself.
"That doesn't sound like any dog or cat i've ever heard." Another one said sweat dripped from his face.
They looked into the shadows of an alley near them, where the growls were coming from before they all saw glowing eyes
Off in the distance, the delinquents screams could be heard along with the strange creatures snarls
(Nobu's home)
The following morning Nobu was getting ready for school when he saw his mother and sister by the T.V wondering what was going on "Haruka, it's almost time for school, what's so important on the T.V?" Nobu asked
"Just watch." Haruka simply said pointing at the T.V.
Nobu looked at T.V and he saw Yoko's dad interviewing a few bruised and cut teenagers talking about something.
"I swear! This thing was no animal, it was one of those monsters from the other day!" one of them shouted with fear in his eyes.
"Yeah, it tried to eat us alive! We're lucky to even be here!"
"I don't want to ever watch monster movies again!"
"You hear it first, it seems that there are still monsters among us. Will the government stand by and do nothing while these monsters continue their reign of terror? Is there nothing we can do to stop them?" Tanguro asked, looking into the camera.
"Oh damn…." Nobu frowned, knowing this wasn't going to be a good day.
Just then Sakura's phone went off, she looked at it and frowned. "Aww shit… I gotta take this." Sakura said, leaving the room as she answered the phone.
"The people of the organization have been breathing down mom's neck since the other day and this incident is only going to add more fuel to the fire." Haraku stated.
"I know, the digimon invasion and Diaboromon are one thing, but Kaiju are another. Her work with Jaden was bound to get a call from them." Nobu crossed his arms.
"They want Jaden and his family on constant watch, mom has been vouching for them but I don't think she can hold them back forever." Hakura said she knew that her mom and Jaden had been working for the last 4 years which means the organization would be very skeptical on why out of nowhere their mom would be working with someone they all didn't even know existed.
"They won't do anything, they need mom and Jaden since they are the experts on the Kaiju assuming they know about Jaden's origins." Nobu said.
That got Haruka's attention. "His origins? How do you know of his origins?" she asked curiously.
"He told me yesterday at school, I was surprised that he's from another universe but did explain a lot." Nobu answered.
"So do you trust him?" Haruka asked.
"No, I don't trust him and I'm not saying I never will but I've only known him and his family for a short time but I'm willing to trust mom's judgment considering she's known them for a while." Nobu said honestly. "But him telling me his story willingly, I'm willing to give him some trust."
Hakura nodded, finding Nobu's reasoning to be fair.
"Now we should both get to school alright." Nobu said. "Where's Sai?"
"Sleeping." Haruka answered
"Hmm, how is he our brother if he's just as much of a lazy underachiever like Xeni." Nobu sighed
"I guess that's why they are frienemies." Hakura shrugged her shoulders. "I'll wake him up, you go I'll be alone shortly."
"Sure." Nobu said as he head out the door.
(Yuki-Muto House)
Jaden was knocking at Kagome's door "Kagome." Jaden softly called out to her
"Yes…:" Kagome answered in a bored tone.
"Are you feeling alright today?" Jaden asked
"Thanks for asking, now go." Kagome said rudely. "I'm looking up new schools to go to now that mine is gone."
Alice looked at Jaden from down the hall and shook her head. "You do know that the more you push the less likely she'll even want to talk to you."
Jaden looked at Alice and glared. "Glare at me all you want, but won't change a thing, I went through the same thing with Yami and trust me it doesn't work or you and Eito? Alice stated, they barely saw Jaden as a father with a combination of not always being there and Eito didn't like that Jaden doesn't bother to change or better himself.
Jaden just sighed, knowing that secretly Alice was right but he's been under alot of stress lately. Actually when has been the last time he ever got time to relax?
"More bad news." Alice lowered her head slightly. "A Kaiju attacked a group of Teenagers last night, and Sakura contacted me and her superiors are not happy in the slightest."
"Was it one of ours? Or did it came from Cray?" Jaden asked
"Currently unknown." Alice answered, "That's why Sakura is having you investigate this."
"Alright, I'll investigate this." Jaden said as he leaned back and closed his eyes.
"They want us under constant watch, they don't really trust us which I can't blame them." Alice said.
Jaden opened his eyes, staring off into space "I'm sorry, none of you deserve this, only i do." Jaden said in a sincere tone
"This was bound to happen anyway, remember 'we' brought this to their world so you aren't the only one responsible for this, Sakura, myself and everyone." Alice stated. "Right now, we just have to work it through like always, and f.y.i if you're stressed out why not just take up yoga or tai chi or even go to a spa." Alice told him before walking away.
Jaden just chuckled before heading out for work.
At that time Davis, Kari, Xeno, Catherine, Xia and Xion had arrived at school, out of them Xion appeared the more quiet.
"Xion, are you ok?" Catherine asked with concern, her friend hadn't been herself since she and Sango left for Jaden's house.
Xion looked at her friend and nodded. "I'm fine, Cathy." Xion said.
Xeno glared at Xion. "No you're not." Xeno simply said.
"And how do you know?" Xion frowned.
"You never miss school, not even when you're sick, you skipped your ballet classes and gymnastics and I'm your brother. I know when you are off base." Xeno answered.
"What's wrong big sis?" Xia asked, it was weird to see her big sister like this.
"What did you learn that shocked you so much into not coming to school?" Davis asked curiously, as long as he knew her was that Xion never missed a day of school or any of her ballet classes and her doing so was beyond shocking.
Xion sighed. "I-I can't tell you… I promised not to." Xion said, she didn't like hiding anyone from her friends or family however this something that Jaden and his family should explain
"Why am I not surprised?" Xeno crossed his arms. "How much longer are they going to keep us in the dark?"
"It shouldn't really concern you, you did give away your Bakugan Trap and Kaiju." Kari pointed out.
"Hmph." Xeno huffed.
"By the way, do you have Yaamon with you?" Kari asked.
"Why would I bring that gutter bag with me?" Xeno asked
"Your mom works, so is it ok to leave him at your house alone?" Davis asked.
"I don't really have a choice, besides if I did bring him I would have that bitchy Principle breathing down my neck even more." Xeno answered.
"Touche." Davis said
"You have to admit, it is one of his more sensible reasons." Xion admitted. "Besides, mom asked Sakura if she could watch Yaamon even though mom doesn't trust him in the house alone and lucky she said yes."
"Well let's get inside before Principle Tsubaki gives us all more detention." Kari said.
"Yeah, and I still owe Cody a headlock." Xia grinned.
"No, Xia." Xion rolled her eyes.
"Yes Xia." Xia grinned
"She said no..!" Xeno glared at Xia.
"Ahhhhhh." Xia whined
"How do you do that?" Xion asked, whenever she tells Xia no she dismisses her words but when Xeno says no Xia actually listens to him.
"Simple, I don't take her shit and she knows it." Xeno frowned before walking away.
the group minus Xia, were in their home room class waiting for Jaden to arrive for class to begin, the door then opened revealing it wasn't Jaden but Yoko and Rito. Yoko looked at Davis who just sighed knowing where this was going.
Yoko walked in front of the goggles headed boy's desk and frowned "Davis, you need to tell me what happened between you and the Kaiju." Yoko demanded, slamming her hands on the table causing it to rattle..
This had been going on since yesterday, Yoko had been pestering him about the Kaiju and he and others usually played dumb but she had kept pestering him about it.
"Yoko, I don't know what you are talking about, why don't you leave me alone." Davis told her.
"I know you and the new teacher have some connection to what happened a few days ago and today." Yoko remarked. "And I won't stop until I get the truth!"
"What do you mean today?" Xion asked curiously.
At that point Jaden entered the classroom "Alright class is in session." Jaden announced. He then noticed that Yoko wasn't in her class "Ms Tsume, shouldn't you be in your class?" he asked
"Y-Yoko, we should g-get to our class." Rito spoke up, he didn't really want to get in trouble.
"Mr. Yuki, as a reporter I must uncover the truth, and I know for a fact that you, Davis and Nobu are connected to the monsters that attacked recently and possibly that happened 4 years ago." Yoko proclaimed pointing her finger at Jaden.
"I have no comment." Jaden said "Please return to your class."
"Um, Yoko, we should go." Rito said, hoping his friend would listen.
Yoko clenched her fist in frustration. "Grr… fine, you can deny it all you want, but once I have evidence then the whole school and the world will see that you are connected to the Kaiju." Yoko declared before leaving the room with Rito bumling after her.
'Hard to believe she actually got it right, but who would believe her story.' Jaden thought, before he reached his desk. "Anyway good morning students, despite what has happened over the last few days, we're going to continue with learning." Jaden said as they began their lesson.
Later most of the gang were now in the lunchroom, TK, Xia, Cody, Yolei and Catherine had joined them as they ate the group were talking about what Yoko had said.
"So a bunch of teenagers were attacked by a monster last night?" Kari asked Yolei.
"Yep, that's what they said on the news." Yolei confirmed. "It's a miracle none of them were hurt or worse."
"It hasn't even been a week and more Kaiju are attacking…" Catherine stated.
"Could it be one of ours?" Cody asked.
"Maybe." Xion answered. "We'll just have to ask Jaden later."
"I'm up for a little Kaiju hunting." Xeno said, taking a bite of his sandwich.
"Can I come?" Xia asked, hoping they would take her.
"No, it's too dangerous." Xion said.
"Come on! Cody gets to go and he's the same age as me." Xia remarked.
"Xia, this isn't about fun, we could die." Cody told his friend.
"You're all talking." they turned to see Sai a lunch bag, he sat down next to Xion who looked annoyed with that. "I heard you all are going on a Kaiju hunt, I'm coming along too."
"And who asked you, Sai?" Xion frowned, arms crossed. "Besides, we need to ask Jaden what we could do to help."
Sai frowned before taking out a bento box. "One of my friends, cousins were one of those guy that were attacked so I want to find this thing and get some payback."
"I'm not scared of some Kaiju." Davis said. "I'll just beat it so hard it won't bother anyone ever again."
"And here we have Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest." Yolei said pointing at Davis, Sai and Xeno, all three boys just looked at Yolei annoyed.
"I agree, especially this one." Xion said, jabbing her thumb at Sai, who just looked at Xion annoyed.
"Hey! I'm not dumb!" Davis growled.
"Calm down Davis." Kari told him, not wanting there to be a scene. "It's not just what's going on here that we should be worried about."
"You're right, the digital world." TK said, they really haven't heard anything from the Digital World yet, the Digimon Emperor has been very silent in his activities that could be either good or bad.
"You think he is planning something?" Catherine asked.
"Don't know, Patamon and Gatomon or any of the others haven't messaged us." Kari answered, she knew Gatomon would be ok but she couldn't say she wasn't worried.
Back at the classroom, Jaden was busy multitasking, trying to identify which kaiju was the cause of the incident last night while at the same time trying to work on classwork as well as find a new school for Kagome as well.
Suddenly his smartphone rang and when he looked at it, he saw that Sakura was calling him.
"Wonder what she wants?" Jaden said out loud as he picked up the phone "i'm here."
"First, I want to tell you I was able to get them to back off from you and family, lucky for you I do have enough sway to do that." Sakura answered.
"Thanks, I appreciate you doing that and I'm sure the others are too." Jaden said, that's one thing off his shoulders. "Tell me, has the kaiju been identified?" he asked
"Not yet, but it isn't one of ours." Sakura said
"I had a feeling that was the case." Jaden sighed. "However those boys shouldn't be alive and not that I'm not thankful for that, but I feel they were left alive on purpose to send me a message." The way the teenagers explained the Kaiju, it was highly unlikely for them to survive especially if it's Chaos Breakers and the only reason he lets people live was for either entertainment or to send a message and the latter seemed more likely.
"Think it could be a trap?" Sakura asked.
"Possibly, me and Keith will investigate it." Jaden said. "Sakura, i've been meaning to ask you something… the boy what was that golden light?"
"Hmm… I can't tell you over the phone, I want Alice and the others with you." Sakura answered. "Let's focus on the Kaiju first, I have a photo of the claw marks on a wall near the alley. I'm sending it over, maybe it might narrow your search a bit, my assessment, that they definitely belong to a wolf."
Jaden looked at the phone as the image was loaded to his smartphone. "Hmm, it's a Gururumon."
"I knew they looked kinda familiar, but this is the Kaiju version of Gururumon." Sakura said.
"Indeed, just like there's digimon, they all have kaiju versions of themselves." Jaden stated
"We know what it is, but we don't know where it is. I know alot about Gururumon of my world, but you know more about your world's version." Sakura said. "Either way, we need to deal with it. We can't afford to repeat what happened a few days ago."
"As soon as the day's over me, Keith, and the others will hunt it down." Jaden told her.
"Ok, I'll see you later." Sakura said before hanging up.
Jaden sighed leaning back before he gave Kagome a call, she didn't pick up but he had a feeling that she knew that he was calling her so he decided to leave a message "Hey Kagome, it's me. I'm looking for a new school for you alright, I'm hoping that someday we could reconnect with each other as well. Give me a call alright. I love you. Stay safe." Jaden said before he hung up
"Why even bother? She isn't really your flesh and blood, just a distant connection to Cadance." Dharak asked. "The girl's clearly not going to listen to you any time soon."
Jaden stared at Dharak "Like Nikko listens to you?" Jaden asked
"She's a grown Kaiju and that's different, we may be of the same species but that doesn't make us blood related. You should focus on the task at hand and not on Kagome, sort out your problems after the Kaiju is killed." Dharak said, hearing his master go through his constant soap operas could get annoying at times, first it was his wife now it's a schoolgirl that wasn't even his own flesh and blood who he actually shows more concern for. "I swear, you don't give your biological kids this much attention when they are rebellious to you."
Jaden just leered at Dharak, before looking back at the phone before getting back to work.

Kagome who listened to the message from Jaden just bitterly sighed in frustration "Why can't he just leave me alone." Kagome said out loud before stripping herself of her clothing and going to take a nice hot relaxing bath only to find to her displeasure that Fabia was also bathing as well
"Why isn't it my favorite little bird?" Fabia cooed
"I'm not in the mood Fabia." Kagome frowned, now more annoyed. "And if you touch me, I'll break your wrist."
"My you've gotten more bold than before and violent." Fabia smiled, "I'm almost tempted."
"Oh you're some princess." Kagome frowned. "Not an ounce of decency in that body of yours."
Fabia just move closer to Kagome before wrapping an arm around her
"Fabia, I swear I'm not in the mood for your perverted antics, I was hoping to relax so I can focus on finding a new school." Kagome scowled not even fazed by Fabia's actions but was more annoyed.
Fabia just sighed "Very well then." As she relaxed her posture
"I think I'm starting to see what Alice truly goes through with him." Kagome admitted. "He says he wants to make up, but it's all just a lie when we return home he'll just fall back into the same persona again."
"Maybe." Fabia smirked "And if that's the case? What would you do about it?" she asked
"Nothing, it seems no matter what goes on he never changes." Kagome frowned. "He has a gull to think he could be my father figure when he fails his own kids? His own son doesn't want anything to do with him."
"Hypothetically, how should he prove himself?" Fabia asked
"I don't want him to be perfect, but maybe if he actually tries to be better instead of always being a jackass and turning on everyone the second a new possibility of victory appears before him, like Kikyo." Kagome frowned before she glared at Fabia. "And you siding with Sesshomaru just to get back at Alice for something she never wanted in the first place."
Fabia glare turned vicious "Watch your words girl. From the position your're in, i could force you to become mine." Fabia snarled, indicating that she's not afraid to rape Kagome right here and now
"I'm not afraid of you, you have everything: a planet, people, riches and a family. But Alice doesn't care that all she wants is to have a normal life. You live a good lifestyle, why do you hate her?" Kagome asked, she really didn't understand this rivalry even when Fabia chose a different path she still had that anger towards Alice.
Fabia just growled and crossed her arms. "Look girl, I've made my mistakes but I don't hate Alice anymore I'm done with it, sure we still fight and argue but what family doesn't? And even after all that Alice forgave me and still cared… I wouldn't have done the same thing."
After speaking her mind Fabia rose out of the bath and turned to Kagome. "Jaden isn't perfect but you should at least give him a chance to make it up to you, take Alice's advice and try." She wrapped herself in a towel before leaving.
"Even as perverted as Fabia is, she is a decent person and you should take her advice." Nikko suggested. "You said he doesn't need to be perfect just be better, you need to give him a chance to get better, remember redemption is a slow process."
Kagome sighed as she sunk deeper into the bathh, as she thought about what Fabia and Nikko told her. Maybe it was because she had spent too much time around both Jaden and Alice that she wasn't able to give a chance to someone, she knew Jaden wasn't a horrible person, he was broken man involved in a seeminging unwinnable war, he made terrible choices that almost always backfired on everyone he knows which causing more rifts to form his relationships. Kagome wondered if they could even reach that point at all with everything he does.
With their detention finished for the day, Jaden had told the group they could go however they didn't leave which caught his attention but he knew what this was. "Why are you still here?" Jaden asked.
"No need to beat about the bush, you know about the news report right?" Nobu asked.
"We know it's a Kaiju that attacked those delinquents." Yolei added.
"Yeah it was." Jaden answered
"Was it one of ours?" Kari asked, concerned.
"No." Jaden answered before going to the desk and displaying an image of the kaiju.
The image displayed was that of a wolf that to the digidestined was awfully familiar in appearance
"That's a Kaiju? It's Garurumon, a digimon." Tai said, knowing Garurumon all too well.
"But what's a Garurumon doing in our world? The gates shut." Sora added.
"Actually his name is Gururumon, he's a relative of sorts to Garurumon only much more vicious." Jaden clarified
"So changing the A to a U makes it more vicious? That's clever." Xeno said sarcastically.
Jaden glared at Xeno "Why are you even here? Last I heard you quit?" Jaden said.
"Tch, of course I quit, but that doesn't mean I'm going to back out of a fight." Xeno said, crossing his arms. "I don't need a Kaiju, Digimon or Bakugan Trap to be strong, I'll kill this Kaiju on my own power and hands."
"Anyway, I was going to investigate its hunting grounds and with luck, detain it until we could find a way to send it back where it belongs." Jaden said
"Maybe we can help." Izzy offered. "I have data on many digimon, and I'm pretty sure I have something on Gururumon."
"This is not a digimon, this is a Kaiju flesh and blood, no data." Jaden said.
"How do you know that?" Davis asked. "Or is it another secret we have to wait until the right time?"
Jaden just glared at Davis before answering. "I can't let you kids get involved, me, Keith and Alice can deal with it."
"We can help, if you give us a chance." Cody said.
"And what good will all of you do?" Jaden asked. "Only three of you have Kaiju partners, one doesn't like its partner." Jaden turned to Davis who looked away slightly before turning to Xeno. "Another gave him up. So again I'll ask how could you help me?" Jaden stated
"We still have our powers." Davis answered. "Besides, if we're meant to save the digital world, then how can we save it if we can't save our own world?"
Jaden glared at Davis before sighing "Very well you can join me but only if you all listen to me."
"We agree." Nobu said before glaring at Xeno. "right?"
"Fine." Xeno nodded his head.
"So how were we supposed to find Gururumon?" Yolei asked.
"I have an Idea." Izzy said before turning to Jaden. "By any chance, do you have data on Gururumon from your world?"
"I do, it's at my house." Jaden said
"If it's ok, can I link my computer with the one in your lab?" Izzy asked.
Jaden thought about the pros and cons of the offer before eventually making his decision "Go ahead."
"Alright, let's over to your house." Izzy said.
"Can have our friends, Matt and Joe come too. They should be a part of this as well." Sora asked.
"You got it, anyone else?" Jaden asked.
"Nope, no one else." Davis quickly said, shaking his head.
"Davisss." Kari said in a warning tone stern look.
Davis turned to Kari and saw this wasn't to be debated. "Kari, are you sure? I don't think Jun can keep a secret."
"Oh boy, that's horrible." Xeno said.
"Regardless, she's a member of this team." Nobu groaned, knowing that they would have to tell Jun eventually now was better was later, turning to Jaden, spoke. "I'll take responsibility for whatever happens."
'I hope I don't regret this.' Jaden thought knowing this was going to be a long day.
Later after the kids told their parents about a group assignment that they would be doing with their teacher and his wife as the group waited in the park for Jaden, Alice, Keith and Izzy to arrive.
"So how we gonna get her to come there cause last time I spoke with her she completely ignored what I was saying and literally shut the door on me." Davis said still did not liking his sister's being there.
"Davis you just need to know the right approach and words and it's easy." Nobu said
"And what are those words?" TK ask having not even met his sister yet and little curious
"Nothing is the right approach with Jun, only things she reacts to is her computer, boy bands and Matt." Davis sighed.
"Did you just list my brother?" TK asked
"Yeah, his sister has a huge crush on your annoying brother." Xeno said while leaning against the tree. "Didn't she throw her bra at him during his last concert?"
"Please don't remind me of that. You don't get how crazy she gets for him. I can still remember her screams from that night." Davis shivered with their parents gone for weekend she did all night
"Don't put that in my head." Xeno glared at Davis.
"Davis, I think you should drop it." Kari suggested not wanting to hear about it. "She's a member, whether you like it or not. Besides, should I remind everyone how you were before we got together?"
"Really? I can't tell the difference." Xion chuckled. "He's not really that different from before you two got together, he's still loud, impatient and just as goggleheaded as before."
That got most of the group to chuckle at how flustered Davis got. "Hey I- never mind how you are so sure she's gonna come?" Davis questioned trying to save face.
"Hey!" a familiar voice called out, they turned to see Jun with a backpack on.
"Does that answer your Question?" Sai frowned.
"I'm here, have they started yet? I didn't miss anything yet did I?" she asked anxious
"Missed what?" Tai asked.
"The clothless band practice? I received a text saying they were doing a set in the park for a pet charity and their clothes got stolen by some squirrels." Jun asked frantically.
"Oh my god…" Sora shook her head, she couldn't understand where Jun got that from.. before looking at Nobu
"Can I punch her?" Xeno asked.
"I'm really tempted to say yes…" Davis lowered his head slightly. "Hate to break it to you sis. But no boy bands out here tonight it's just him."
"What?!" Jun gasped her mood souring then she realized the second part of what he said. "Wait he is coming here! Is he-"
"He has clothes on you, pervert!" Davis shouted. "Who's stupid enough to believe that squirrels would steal their clothes? even I wouldn't fall for something like that.
"Davis!" Kari yelled at him to get him to stop.
"Did you really believe that?" Yolei asked, surprised that Jun was dumb enough to believe that a squirrel would just take people's clothes.
"What doesn't sound impossible can't a girl dream that her favorite band is playing music in their underwear." Jun said.
"Oh my god, Please leave your fantasies to yourself." Xion said she even lost patience.
"You humans are a very weird species." Yaamon remarked in a Xeno's bag.
"Shut up, it's not like you digimon are normal either." Xeno countered.
"Squirt did you send this using one of their phones as a joke cause I don't find it funny." Jun glared at Davis.
"First stop calling me Squirt. Second, why would I ever text something like THAT to you." Davis said feeling disgusted just thinking of that. "Third, the reason you're here is because there's something going on and since you're a digidestined you need to be a part of it like it or not."
"I'm the one who sent it." Nobu said, which got Jun's attention. "The only way to get you involved was to use something that you are obsessed over, and Matt and his boy bands are one of the only things to get you out of your apartment."
"Wait, how did you get my number? Did you give it to him, Squirt?"
"Stop calling me that, I didn't even want you here." Davis frowned.
"Davis, control yourself." Kari said, grabbing his shirt.
Davis looked at Kari seeing her serious expression, he sighed and calmed down slightly.
"Remember, I am student council president so I do know a few of the students' emergency contracts which included you." Nobu explain to her "Now you can let your "pet" you brought here out." before she could say anything they all heard a voice
"Jun, can I come out of here?" a voice said from her bag.
"Oh yeah." Jun said, taking off her backpack and revealing Xiaomon.
"It's Xiaomon." Davis said .
"Aww, she's so cute." Xion said, as she bent down and petted Xiaomon. "And she even has an X in her name that makes it better."
Xiaomon rubbed up against Xion's hand enjoying the petting. "Thanks, I'm Xiaomon and it's nice to you all."
"Hey little buddy, how are you doing?" Jun asked her partner.
"I'm fine, a little cramped in there but fine." Xiaomon answered.
"Hey can someone let me out now!" Yaamon yelled
"I guess I should let you out then." Xeno said, as he let Yaamon out of his bag.
"Finally! You are a horrible host, you know that? A demon lord deserves better treatment." Yaamon frowned.
"I'm not your party host." Xeno frowned. "From I see you hardly count as a 'demon lord'."
"Just you wait until I get my form back, I'll kill you!" Yaamon growled at Xeno.
"I would love to see you try and then fail as I laugh." Xeno growled back.
"Do I have to get a spray bottle for you too?" Xion asked, annoyed as the two kept growling at each other.
The others just ignored them. "Matt and Joe should be here soon, along with Jaden and Izzy." Tai said.
"Matt's coming?!" Jun said getting giddy.
"Jun, control yourself." Nobu warned. "What we're about to do is dangerous. Leave your crush to yourself or you'll be killed by it."
Jun glared at Nobu. "Fine." Jun said, although she was still excited to see Matt.
Just then Matt and Joe had finally arrived. "Sorry I'm late, I had to finish a few notes." Joe apologized.
"I had to finish band practice." Matt said.
"Ohhh, Matt!" Jun squealed.
"And here we go…." Davis sighed.
"Oh no…" Matt muttered, knowing that Jun was one of his obsessed fans.
"Matt, I'm one of your biggest fans, I've never missed any of your concerts." Jun said getting uncomfortably close to Matt who backed away nervously.
"Uhh thanks." Matt said in an uneasy tune.
"Hey Jun, why don't you give the man some space?" Tai said, getting between her and Matt. "Remember what Nobu said?"
Jun frowned and crossed her arms. "Fine. "Jun said.
"So with the exception of Mimi and Izzy, we're all here?" Joe asked.
"Yeah." Nobu nodded. "Jaden and Izzy should be here soon."
"I hope so, I'm anxious to start hunting that Kaiju." Sai said.
"Me too." Xeno said, feeling as anxious as Sai.
At that point Jaden arrived "Sorry I'm late everybody I-." Jaden started before he saw the scene before him "What the fuck is going on here?" he asked.
"Nothing, just a female in heat." Xeno simply said pointing at Jun with his thumb.
"You better shut up Xeno." Jun said not liking the insult at all.
"Just ignore them, Jaden." Nobu told Jaden.
Jaden groaned mentally wondering why he allowed them to tag along with him in the first place
"Hey." Izzy called out as he walked over to the group, with Alice, Keith and Fabia following behind. "Sorry we're late, I had to put the finishing touches on it."
"On what?" Sora asked.
"Well, thanks to Jaden allowing me to use the data from his computer system and by merging it with the data I have on existing digimon along with my computer's scanners now we can track any Kaiju that share similarities with Digimon from in our world only without them being made of data." Izzy explained.
"So we can track Kaiju using the digimon scanner?" Joe asked.
"Yes, however, it has to be within a certain range." Izzy explained.
"How much range do we have?" Nobu asked.
"about 1 mile if my calculations are right." Izzy answered
"That's a small distance." Tai frowned, knowing with the size of the city it would be difficult to find Gururumon.
"Well that's the best I could get without compromising its detection with the time I had available." Izzy said.
"So if we go in the wrong direction we can completely miss it, so it is more useful to tell us if it's coming towards us rather than finding it." Sora said.
"So how will we track Gururumon?" Catherine asked, although she wasn't really really enthusiastic about looking for a Kaiju.
"Don't worry about that, I found a solution before. If all of you have your digivices I can upload it to them to give each of them the same detection and range." Izzy asked.
"Effectively making a relay by overlapping their range making a net." Nobu said.
"So by doing so you can triangulate its probability position based on where we are in the city." Xeno surmised.
"Alright, then let's begin." Izzy said as each of the digidestined old and new had held out their digivices. "Alright, give me a second." Izzy said, opening his computer and began to type on it. After a few seconds the screens on each digivice began to blink red three times before they turned green.
"There, all set." Izzy told them.
"But that also means we have split up for it to actually work dividing our numbers." Jaden pointed out starting not like this idea
"We have little choice in the matter, the longer we wait the more people are hurt or killed." Alice told him though she did understand where he was coming from.
Jaden frowned, still not liking the idea until Tai spoke up.
"I understand your concern but most of us here have dealt with dangerous digimon before and understand risks of dealing with one and if this Kaiju has similar traits including getting stronger longer we take to find it right?" Tai asked.
Jaden nodded knowing he was right and this time Matt spoke up.
"Then the more we hesitate, the harder it is to stop it from hurting or worse killing someone so we need to work together so we can stop it before that happens. Trusting each other and our ability to watch out for each other for everyone's sake."
"Oh Matt you're so smart!" Jun cooed.
"Uhh, thanks…" Matt thanked Jun for trying not to be rude to her, Jun on the other hand giggled uncontrollably/
Jaden glances over to Alice, Fabia and Keith seeing that they clearly agree with the two.
"Fine but we are doing this by my rules. First we are gonna go in groups so NO ONE is going to be on their own which I am picking. Second, each group will have someone who has the ability to defend themselves and their group from Kaiju if it reaches them. Third and most importantly if your group finds the Kaiju you are NOT to try to fight yourself you are to call me." Alice then gave him glare as he sighs "I mean US and we get to where you are and surround it trapping it and then subduing the Kaiju but NONE of you kids are to try fight yourself even with your powers if that Kaiju gets a open it won't hesitate to kill you. If you can't agree to these conditions then your leaving." Jaden said
None of the kids said anything not even Xeno or Sai and Jaden took that silence as agreement that when Kari looked around starting to realize something
Jaden nodded in agreement, there could be other Kaiju out there with it. And Chaos Breaker could appear as well. "Alright, we'll split to cover more ground, but if you find Gururumon don't engage contact with the others."
"You hear th-?" Nobu turned to see Xeno, Yaamon and Sai were gone. "Oh that's just great." Nobu said completely annoyed, although he knew he shouldn't be surprised..
"Why am I not surprised, right Xi-" Yolei tried to say but Xion was gone as well. "Really?! I thought she was better than those two."
"Oh please…" Kari turned to see Davis was now gone too. "Why am I not surprised that those four would do something like this?" Placing her hands on her hips, of course her boyfriend would be stubborn enough to go off on his own.
"What part of staying together in a group did they not hear!" Jaden growled.
"Oh they didn't hear that." Jun said casually
"What do you mean by that?" Jaden glared at her.
"I saw them run off right after, he said, getting stronger." Jun said pointing at Tai
"So those four just up and left like that?" Fabia frowned.
"Does this happen often?" Alice asked Kari.
"Xeno and Sai pretty much all the time, Davis most of the time and Xion rarely." Kari answered, with an annoyed expression. "Whenever those four band together for something, things always end in Chaos."
"And Why didn't you mention that they left until now?" Jaden asked, just about ready to scream.
"Well he always goes off on his own so I don't see the issue plus I kinda forgot after Matty cool speech." Jun said casually.
"Ahh, teenage hormones." Jaden pinched the bridge of his nose.
"You do realize you were just like her and before trying to deny it I have a very long list of examples to pull from including one's that weren't caused by teenage hormones." Alice said to her husband
"I'm sorry, those four have been doing this since the 3rd grade." Kari sighed, it had been this way since they always did this since they were little, Xion wasn't as bad and Davis didn't do it as much but he still had his moments and Xeno and Sai… well they were them.
Jaden growled "Then what was the damn point of me having all of you come with me if they don't follow my orders?" Jaden said with his left eye twitching
"Since when do kids follow orders from adults?" Alice asked, she knew many kids would rebel and at times didn't like being told what to do. "But this doesn't excuse it."
"Do you have any way to find them?" Jaden asked Izzy?
"Davis and Xeno have their digivices on them, so finding them should be easy. Except I would have to readjust our devices to show their locations again." Izzy asked.
"How long would that take?" Keith asked.
"Not even a few minutes." Izzy answered as he quickly typed on his computer.
"Alright Keith stay with him until he finds where they are and then drag their asses here watch them the rest of us will start hunting down the Kaiju and hope those idiots don't find it first." Jaden told Keith then turn to the other's to go on only for Fabia to stop them.
"Just let them be, our plan was to split up right? Then let those brats be and we can commence." Fabia said not really caring about where the four went. "Dragging them back here is only wasting more time, we have to find that Kaiju before dark, which will make it more difficult to deal with."
Jaden scoffed, "Fuck fine do what ever you want." He knew that Fabia was right, they already wasted a lot of time and they couldn't afford to waste even more of it.
"I'm going with Matt." Jun instantly said.
"I think you should come with me." Alice told Jun she could tell that the girl had a crush on Matt and her being around him might cause more harm than good.
"I really don't care who goes with who at this point, just don't try to fight the Kaiju." Jaden said, soon they formed their teams and left the park.
At that time Xeno and Xion, who was holding Yaamon, were walking down the street. The older twin had his eyes glowed to his digivice so far nothing.
"Anything?" Xion asked.
"No." Xeno simply said. "You think with that advanced tech they would be able to make this have a bit more range."
"Ahh, Xeni we really should have waited for Jaden and others." Xion sighed, but she knew her brother wouldn't listen to her anyway.
"I don't need them." Xeno frowned. "I'm fine on my own. Besides these are one the things that almost killed our family so I'm gonna get little payback"
Xion just shook her head, annoyed at her brother's stupidity and stubbornness. "I know that, but Payback isn't exactly a good thing."
"Sniff Sniff." Yaamon sniffed the air. "I smell something."
That got both Jamesers to look at him. "What is it?" Xeno questioned.
"It smells like what you humans would call blood." Yaamon answered having gotten scent
During their visit they had to his world before he gestured down an alleyway.
"Stay here." Xeno told Xion as he pulled out a custom white pistol from his trench coat. He slowly walked into the alleyways he saw it was narrow with several trash cans knocked over indicating their was a struggle turning to his left he saw claw marks along the wall, brushing his fingers against it before moving a little further into it, Xeno kept his composure when he saw several dead bodies torn to shreds, blood covered the area the scared-face boy walked over to a body looked it over.
"Hmm…" Xeno hummed as he rubbed his finger along the puddle of blood before rubbing it between his pointer finger and thumb. "It's fresh."
"You really think that peashooter of yours is gonna leave even a scratch?" Yaamon said startling Xeno
"Ahh, who asked for your opinion?!" Xeno shouted in anger.
"I'm just saying if one of my then we would have a different story." Yaamon said proudly.
Xion kept herself calm, as she looked at the graveyard of corpses resisting the urge to vomit "Xeni?" Xion asked, trying to keep her attention away from the dead bodies.
"Hmm, it was here recently." Xeno told Xion. "I said about 10-15 minutes ago."
"You don't say?" Xia asked, leaning in front of the body.
"Ye- Xia" Xeno shouted, falling on his ass in shock. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I want to help." Xia answered.
"No, you go home." Xion said, realizing Xia must have followed them to the park before she followed the two of them from there.
"Why?" Xia pouted.
"Because there is something very dangerous here that could hurt you." Xeno answers.
"You mean that?" Xia pointing behind them.
"Haha very funny if that thing was behind us." Xeno said shaking his digivice as Xion turned around going pale as she started to tap Xeno shoulder trying to get his attention "Would be going off so you are to go with Xion and she gonna take you home and you're gonna stay there un- will you stop tapping my shoulder what is it!" Xeno yelled turning around yell at Xion only to see piercing eyes in the shadows now growling at them
"Oh fuck…" Xeno muttered before looking at his digivice only for it to show there was nothing on screen as if it wasn't registering it.
'I'm gonna kill that nerd after this' Xeno thought as he pointed his gun at it. "Go now!" Xeno told both his sisters. "call those idiots and say we found it, and tell Izzy I'm going to kill him."
Without a second thought Xion grabbed Xia and they both ran out of the alleyway leaving both Xeno and Yaamon with the Kaiju. "Again what is that peashooter supposed to do?" Yaamon questioned.
"Heh, this peashooter has more surprises than you think." Xeno laughed, although he didn't admit this creature scared him especially if it gets past him and to his sisters.
"Roooar!" and out of the darkness Gururumon pounced at Xeno and Yaamon who jumped out of the way, as the wolf kaiju.
"Yeah, if you're hungry then eat some lead!" Xeno said shooting five bullets at Gururumon who just stood there and let the bullets hit him and they bounced off his skin like they were nothing. Xeno looked at the beast in shock.
"Told you." Yaamon remarked.
"Shut up unless you want me to try this on you!"
"Howling Blaster!" Gururumon roared as blue fire built up in its mouth.
"Oh shit…" Xeno cursed when Gururumon unleashed his attack as it was about to hit Xeno, his digivice began to glow as well as Yaamon.
"Yaamon digivolve too… Impmon!"
The new digimon pushed Xeno out of the way, of the attack just at it in the wall leaving a scorched on the wall. Xeno looked at what used to be Yaamon in surprise. The new digimon looked like that of a demon child wearing red gloves with black belts around them, black boots one with skull the other a red bat, he had two black belts around his waist, a long red scarf that was torn on the ends and he look like he was wearing a purple mask around his face.
"Guess this even makes some things up." Impmon said, looking at Xeno.
"So can you take it?" Xeno asked.
"Depends." Impmon scowled.
"Depends on what?" Xeno questioned.
"How much collateral damage do you want to happen here?" Impmon said he was confident he could beat the rip off but it would be a long fight to wear him down and there would be a lot of destruction.
"Dammit." Xeno said before standing up. "We need to get it away from here. That park should work."
Gururumon glowed as it stepped forward, while Xeno and Impmon stepped backwards.
Xeno gritted his teeth clenching his fists which began to crackle with dark purple electricity, and for some reason he was compelled to shout something. "Strike Thunder!" Xeno shouted as he thrusted his arms forward and unleashed a blast of electricity at Gururumon who howled in pain as the attack hit him dead on creating a smoke cloud.
"Run!" Xeno shouted as he and Impmon ran out of the alley with Gururumon emerging from the alley smelling like burned Fur but didn't seem actually hurt as it before giving chase howled.
Alice, along with Jun, Sora and Kari were searching the south side of Odaiba, the digigirls digivices hadn't beeped meaning that Gururumon wasn't in their area but they kept their guard up.
"This is so boring, why couldn't I go with Matt?" Jun moaned, wishing she had gone with the boy of her dreams instead of wandering around looking for a creature she had only seen 4 years ago and in movies.
Alice put a hand on her forehead and groaned, hoping that Jaden while looking for the kaiju alone was having better luck than she was at the moment
"I guess it's not here." Kari said, looking at her digivice not seeing a signal on it. "The digivice isn't reacting."
"I wonder if the others are having better luck than we are." Sora said.
"Hopefully." Alice said. "They didn't really test it before we left our home."
"So are you with the government? Some kinda secret biological weapons scientist or something?" Jun asked, being more out of the loop than the others were. "This sounds like something out of Godzilla or something."
"In a way." Alice answered
"Hmm, one of my friends is a conspiracy freak and she says that weird things have been happening and she says it has something to do with DragonCorps and SoahcCorps having something to do with all the things that have been happening since those two companies appeared out of nowhere." Jun said with her hand to cheek, remembering her friend's ranting and raving about her conspiracy theories.
"That's right, DragonCorps appeared out of nowhere about a year before Diaboromon attacked." Sora said, remembering seeing a video on that company. "it's one of the most influential companies despite being just 4 years old."
"SoahcCorps is even more mysterious, I mean I looked it up and it's only about a year old and it's gotten contracts for so many things around the world." Kari remarked. "And the weirdest thing is that no one knows the CEO's names or faces."
"Aww, probably too ugly and doesn't want to be seen by the public." Jun waved her hand. "Of course no one can be as handsome as my Matt."
"What's a Ceo?" Xaiomon asked.
"It's a person in charge of a company." Jun answered.
Kari and Sora just looked at each other and sighed, knowing that this was going to be a long night but Sora did understand Jun cause she would go gaga over boy bands and everything, but she would need to focus on the task at hand.
Alice just snorted. 'Jaden would bust a vein at being called ugly.' She thought she did want to tell them everyone but her stupid husband, Fabia and Kikyo refused to do so and she hopes that they can come clean soon.
Meanwhile, Jaden who was looking for Xeno, Xion, Davis and Sai as well as the kaiju suddenly got irritated for an unexplained reason.
"Hmm, I feel like I should punish Davis for something his sister said just now." Jaden commented
"Why punish him and not the girl?" Dharak asked out of curiosity.
Jaden cracked his fingers "Cause he as well as Xeno and Sai are in so much trouble when I find them. And I can't wait to hear Xion's reason for wandering off." Jaden snarled, his tone promising pain for the boys
"I'm looking forward to it." Dharak said.
Fabia, Catherine, Yolei and Cody were near the shopping district and there was no sign of the Kaiju.
"It's like a needle in a haystack." Yolei moaned, as she looked at her digivice and saw nothing. "Are these things even working?"
"Does she always complain?" Fabia asked
"Not always, it mostly has to do with Jameser getting on her nerves." Cody answered.
Fabia nodded, accepting the answer
"Speaking of Jameser, I shouldn't be surprised that a delinquent would just run off on his own, but I never thought Xion of all people would follow suit." Yolei frowned.
"Well if we're lucky he'll be eaten." Fabia said
"Don't say that." Catherine said. "And Xion probably went to keep an eye on Xeno, to keep him from, how do you say? going off?"
"I hope you're right because if Jaden finds those boys he'll punish them all and he would love to hear Xion's reason for wandering off." Fabia said with a sarcastic tone
"Is he going to kill her too?" Yolei asked curiously.
"No, he'll just ask why she left." Fabia answered
"So he's tough on boy's and soft on girls?" Catherine asked.
"Pretty much, his daughter's second youngest has him wrapped around her fingers so yeah." Fabia answered with a grin.
"Well explains why he was tough on me and other boys and soft on Kari, Yolei and Sora." Cody said not understanding a bit.
"Hmph." Yolei smiled while wiping her hair back. "This is why I'm better than that Delinquent any day of the week."
Fabia just looked at Yolei. 'The old Tsundere with a crush on a delinquent bad boy story huh?' Fabia thought.
"Let's just keep looking." Fabia said, wanting to get back on track.
Matt and TK were searching around the warehouse district, the two brothers were happy to spend time together even if they were looking for a Kaiju. They rarely saw each other since TK moved here with their mom and Matt was happy to be able to talk to him.
"Still nothing." Matt said, looking at his digivice, before turning to TK. "You?"
"I got nothing as well." TK replied
"I wonder if Izzy's losing his touch?" Matt joked, of course he knew that wasn't the case.
TK chuckled "Imagine how he'll feel if it was the case." TK said
"Hehehe, he would be having a system's crash." Matt quipped, he stopped before looking at his brother. "It's good to talk to TK, I'm sorry I haven't been spending time with you since you and mom moved back."
TK shook his head. "It's ok Matt, you have your own things to do and I have my own things to do as well." TK understood Matt was making it as a rock star so that meant he wasn't always available to spend time with him or any of their friends. "So how's dad doing?"
"He's fine, he's started dating about a few months back though." Matt said with a sad smile.
TK lowered his head slightly, his parents had gotten a divorce when they were young Matt went with their dad and he with his mom. Of course TK and Matt rarely saw each other except their video chats, he and his brother had hoped that one day their family could become whole again but it seems like that wasn't the case.
"Well that's good for dad." TK said.
Matt could see his brother was disappointed in that fact, he too wished that his family could reunite but his dad was a grown man and could make his own choices. "Dad's been through 2 dates, but the third one seems to be a catch." Matt told TK.
"Really? What is she like?" TK asked curiously.
"I haven't seen her myself, but dad says she is smart, brave, and funny and I think she's a keeper" Matt answered, remembering how much his dad likes to talk about her.
TK smiled, they may not be able to be a family anymore but he was happy for his dad, then he decided to change the subject. "So Davis' sister likes you huh?" TK said with a cheeky grin.
Matt just groaned, remembering Jun. "I don't like to talk about her, she often stalks me much like the other fangirls." Matt at times tried to be as nice as possible turning down Jun and other girls but she, like the others, wouldn't take no for an answer and now that she was a Digidestined she probably wouldn't leave him alone. "I never thought she or Jameser would be digidestined."
"You don't seem to like Xeno." TK remarked, he could see a deep dislike in his brother's face.
"Heh, you don't know that half of it, little bastard broke my arm when I told him and Sai to stop fighting one day." Matt frowned, rubbing his left arm. "I missed my gig because of it."
'Oh that was Xeno.' TK remembered during one of their video chats, Matt told him a kid broke his arm and made him and his band miss a gig.
"Let's just drop it, and continue looking." Matt said, which TK nodded in agreement as they continued their search.
Nobu, Tai and Joe were searching the northside of Odaiba, and much like the others they had no luck in their search. Tai was annoyed that his digivice wasn't beeping.
"Damn, where could Gururumon be?" Tai frowned.
"Could be anywhere, the city is a place where a Kaiju like Gururumon could cover ground with ease." Nobu answered.
"I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that there are Kaiju that look like Digimon." Joe stated.
"Me too, but we'll worry about that later." Tai told his friend.
"What do you mean worry about it later? You two have magic powers to defend yourselves while I have none and I don't have Gomamon with me." Joe remarked, knowing he was practically a sitting duck without his digimon partner and he didn't have powers like Tai or Nobu.
"He has a point, Tai." Nobu said, "If we get attacked, Joe would be caught in the crossfire."
"Joe's been through worse, and if so he can cover behind a few of these buildings and cars." Tai replied.
Joe just gave Tai a deadpan look before sighing. 'Some things just never change.' Joe thought about getting flashbacks to 4 years ago.
"Don't worry Joe, as long as me and Nobu are here it'll be fine, plus Nobu has his Kaiju with him so things should be fine." Tai smiled
"Then why am I so worried?" Joe asked
"Stress." Nobu answered
"I forgot that being around Tai in these situations can be stressful." Joe laughed.
"Hehehe." Nobu chuckled at the joke.
Tai frowned and crossed his arms. "Hahaha, very funny." Tai laughed sarcastically at the joke.
Nobu stopped laughing and frowned. "I hope those three morons don't cause trouble." he said referring to Davis, Xeno and Sai.
A growl came from the amulet Nobu was carrying.
"Hmm." Nobu murmured as he held up the amulet that contained his Kaiju partner "Are you trying to communicate with me?" Nobu asked
"You're Kaiju?" Tai asked.
"What did it say?" Joe asked curiously.
"VastatoDrill is saying that the kaiju we're looking for is on the street on the north end." Nobu told them.
"Heh, why didn't it say that earlier let's go." Tai pumped his fist ready for action.
"Let's hope no one near it." Joe said hoping that no one was hurt or killed yet.
A purple glow came from Nobu's pocket. "Oh that can't be good." Nobu commented, Xeno's Kaiju and Bakugan Trap were both glowing and wasn't sure if that was good or not.
Davis was searching down a dark alley, using his golden powers to make it easier to see. After a few minutes of looking, he exited the alley and sighed.
"Man, this is tougher than I thought." Davis sighed, before looking up at the sky. "I wonder if the others are doing fine?" he thought out loud, he also hoped Kari was ok thinking maybe he shouldn't have left on his own like Xeno and the others. 'Need to stop doing this, Kari is probably disappointed that I went off on my own.' He had been trying to make this habit for a while, but it wasn't as easy as he thought.
Davis heard footsteps and turned around and got into a fighting stance. "Woah there Motomiya." a familiar voice said, Davis calmed down as he saw Sai walking up to him.
"What? Did I scare you?" Sai grinned.
Davis just grumbled and crossed his arms. "I'm not scared Sai, I'm just jumpy at the thought of a Kaiju attacking me." Davis answered. "So have you had any luck?"
Sai shook his head. "Nope, the area I searched in was clean." He answered.
"I didn't have any luck either, my digivice didn't go off." Davis said, looking at digivice. "I wonder if the others have?"
"Guys!" Both boys turned to see Xion and Xia running towards them.
"Xion? And Xia?" Davis asked, wondering why Xion and Xia were here. "What happened and why is Xia out here?"
"The Kaiju, it snuck up on us." Xion shouted, getting both Davis and Sai's attention.
"Xeni, is fighting it!" Xia said with fear in her eyes.
"Damn it!" Davis cursed. "Xion, contact Nobu and the others, me and Sai will go help your brother." Davis took out his D-Terminal and gave it to Xion. "Let's go Sai." Davis said before running in the direction where the sisters came from.
"Don't give me orders Motomiya." Sai frowned before taking off after Davis.
Xion looked at the D-Terminal and began to type out the situation before sending it to the other digidestined. She hoped her brother was alright.
Xeno ran through a crowd of people who got out of the way as Gururumon raced after him and Impmon, who was riding on his shoulders, looked back and frowned.
"Big Dumb Wolf still on our tail!" Impmon shouted. "Yah!" Impmon pulled on Xeno's hair making his head tilt back.
"Stop that! I'm not a horse!" Xeno shouted back, as he ran in the street as a car screeched to a halt in front of the Scarred-face boy who placed his palm on the hood of the car and vaulted over it landing on his feet as he continued to run.
The man who was in the car opened the window and shouted and shook his fist at Xeno"You little brat watch-" He didn't get to finish as Gururumon hopped onto the top of the car using the momentum to leap over Xeno and land in front of him.
"Oh fuck!" Xeno stopped in his tracks as Gururumon growled at him, Xeno slowly stepped back as Gururumon slowly crept forward, suddenly Sirens were heard as 10 police cars arrived, many officers stepped out of their vehicles and pointed their guns at Gururumon.
"This is the police! This is your only warning, get on the ground now!" the lead officer shouted
"Oh crap, I'm caught between the feds and a fido!" Xeno said, looking back and forth debating who was worse to deal with.
"We're sandwiched." Impmon said, looking back and forth.
Gururumon howled as it decided to cut its losses and retreated into the darkness of the night.
"After it!" the lead officer ordered as he and the other officers minus one squad car drove after it.
Xeno sighed. "Damn, now that was a work out." Xeno said.
"That was strange, with its power it could easily over power those human peashooters." Impmon said, finding it odd that Gururumon look alike would retreat like that if its power was comparable to the original.
"Are you alright kid?" A tall man with slight tan skin with black hair and blue eyes.
Xeno looked at the officer and simply nodded. "I'm fine, I could have handled it." Xeno said, trying to play it cool.
"You're lucky we got a call about a kid being chased by a giant wolf, thank Kami we arrived just in time." the officer said, before looking at Impmon. "Isn't it a little too early for Halloween kid?"
Impmon glared at the human for his insult "Kid?! I-" Impmon was cut off by Xeno who covered his mouth, as the rookie digimon let out muffled sounds..
"Hehehe, I'm sorry my little brother is practicing for his role in a play, he's playing the demon hero." Xeno chuckled.
"Well well, look at what we got here." both turned to see Jaden walking up to them both. "You really are a pain in the ass, running off like that."
"Are these your kids?" the police officer frowned, Jaden looked disgusted by those words. "What kind of a parent lets their sons roam around at night."
"Wait a minute offic-" Jaden tried to explain but was cut off.
"What is your name?" he asked.
"Jaden Muto." Jaden answered.
"I'll write you up for reckless endangerment and leaving your child." The officer wrote down the ticket and gave it to Jaden. "Make sure they get home safely, or else," he said before walking back to his squad car.
"Woah, I didn't see that coming." Impmon said but he did find it funny.
"So what took you so long, old man?" Xeno asked. "Also, yours and Izzy's program is literally shit and I want to kill him for it."
"Funny." Jaden said "cause I want to kill you, Davis and Sai for wandering off before I explained the rules."
"I work better alone." Xeno frowned. "But the Kaiju got away, the Police Chased after it."
"Jameser, Jaden!" Davis shouted as both he and Sai had finally arrived. "Are you ok?" Davis asked Xeno.
"Heh, I'm fine." Xeno crossed his arms. "Word of advice, Izzy and Jaden's program is a flop. That thing snuck on us and the idiot program wouldn't have known it was there even if it was stepping on it."
"Motomiya." Jaden growled
"What?" Davis asked. "Is this about us leaving?"
"The three of us are barely team players outside our sports." Sai stated. "So are you just going to growl at us, or are we going to find the Kaiju?"
"We'll wait until all of us are reunited, then you three will receive your punishment for leaving before I explain the rules." Jaden said
"You're not our parent you know, just a weird teacher who works on biological doomsday weapons." Xeno frowned.
'I'm going to enjoy this more than I thought.' Jaden thought as he gave a grin just thinking of the ways to beat them down.
All of a sudden, Jaden's phone was ringing which Jaden took out. (Talk to me) he said
(Jaden, Sora and Kari got a message from Xion. Xeno was attacked by Gururumon.) Alice said.
(I know, I'm with him, Davis and Sai and I'm going to beat them senseless for not listening to my orders.) Jaden said glaring at all three boys.
(Oh like you never did anything like that, you aren't exactly a team player unless it's something that benefits you.) Alice countered. (also Kikyo contacted me, She's tracking the Kaiju and it evaded a police pursuit.)
(Good, I'll join you all shortly.) Jaden said before hanging up.
"Me and Xion found several people killed, this thing isn't too picky about its food." Xeno told Davis and Sai.
"Hmm." Davis crossed his arms and hummed, before turning to Jaden. "Did Alice find it?"
"No but Kikyo's tracking it down, it won't be long until it's contained." Jaden said
"So the stupid program works for them but not me. I swear if he did that intentionally I'm going to beat him so hard he will still be feeling it even after he died." Xeno growled.
"Stop you're complaining brat." Jaden told Xeno who just glared at him.
"Who the hell's Kikyo?" Sai asked.
"Oh that's right none of you met her yet." Jaden realized. "You know Kagome right?"
"Yeah, I saw her a few days ago." Davis said remembering Kagome. "She's pretty nice."
"Kikyo is Kagome's older twin sister." Jaden said
"whoa that means you and Xion aren't the only twins I know." Davis said, looking at Xeno.
"Who cares, as long as that thing is killed I'm fine with it." Xeno frowned.
Davis finally took notice of Impmon's appearance. "Who's this?" Davis asked.
Impmon glared at Davis. "You really don't recognize this handsome face from before?"
"It's Yaamon you dunce." Sai answered. "He must have digivolved while battling Gururumon."
"Yeah, hard to believe he digivolved to save me." Xeno frowned.
"Hmph, I only did it because I need you alive to have me digivolve, which disgusts me that I need to rely on human help to even digivolve." Impmon crossed his arms.
"Shut up already." Jaden said "I'm trying to think here."
"Let's get out of the street then, we don't want to attract any more attention." Davis suggested, gesturing to many people looking at them from the sidewalks and vehicles.
"Agreed." Jaden reluctantly complied.
After exiting the streets, Jaden, Xeno, Davis and Sai were reunited with the rest of the group.
"Xenii!" Xia shouted as she rushed over to her brother and hugged him. "I'm so glad you're ok!"
Xeno just huffed. "Of course I'm ok, it'll take more than a mutant mutt to kill me." Xeno said, wrapping his arm around his youngest sister. "Oh by the way, you're grounded."
"Ahh! That's not fair!" Xia whined.
"You should be grounded too, you just have to be the lone wolf type." Xion frowned.
"Which reminds me Xion, why did you leave after hearing my rules?" Jaden asked
"To babysit him." Xion pointed at Xeno. "I knew he would do something like that, and I knew Davis and Sai would do the same as well."
Jaden nodded "I find your explanation reasonable." he said before turning to Davis "Oh yeah your're getting detention again."
"Damn!" Davis cursed.
"Serves you right for pulling that stunt." Kari told Davis.
"And it's mostly because for some reason I feel like your sister just insulted me." Jaden said
"What?! You can't just punish me for something like that!" Davis shouted, not believing what he was hearing, before turning to Jun. "What did you do?"
"I did nothing squirt, and I don't remember insulting Jaden for anything." Jun countered.
Alice coughed into her hands, getting their attention. "Actually Jun, you mistakenly did insult him."
"Huh? How?" Jun asked, confused.
"Remember the talk about DragonCorps?" Alice said, getting Jaden's attention
"Wait what?" Jaden said,
"DragonCorps?" Sora questioned remembering, they were talking about it and Jun had insulted the CEO and it then hit her. "You got to be kidding me."
"What?" Jun asked Sora.
"He's the CEO of DragonCorps." Kari answered, in shock.
"Whatt!" all the kids and teenagers except Nobu who kept calm about it.
"Well that explains the technology and how he can afford that house on the beach." Izzy said in shock.
"All this time, my teacher was the CEO of DragonCorps?" Yolei muttered, trying to wrap her mind around it.
"You're fucking CEO and you're teaching homeroom?" Xeno asked. "You must not have much of a life if you choose to work at a public school."
"It's none of your business kid." Jaden frowned.
"Then why punish me for what Jun said?! Why not punish her?" Davis shouted.
"Because I could." Jaden said "Besides life ain't fair, deal with it."
"Everything about you isn't fair, old man." Sai said. "You and everything about you doesn't make sense, CEO, living Kaiju and you work at a public school when you have all the money in the world."
"He's not wrong there." Alice muttered.
Jaden glared at his wife, before he could say anything he got a call which he picked up (Hello) he answered
(Jaden, it's Kikyo, listen I've tracked down Gururumon to a forest and into a cave and i've contained him within a barrier. What should I do?) Kikyo asked
(Stay there and wait for either Sakura or myself to assist you alright) Jaden answered.
"Was it Kikyo?" Keith asked.
"Yes, Gururumon is in a cave and she's waiting." Jaden answered.
"Good, then we can take care of the rest." Fabia said
"Indeed." Jaden said "One of you call Sakura and has her prepare for containment. I'm sure that her superiors would love to study a Kaiju."
"Typical government, just wanting a new science experiment to work on." Xion frowned.
"I'm not happy about it either. What worries me is how did it came from Cray to this world." Jaden said
"Cray? What the hell are you talking about now?" Sai asked.
"Is this Cray like the digital world?" Joe asked.
"I already said enough." Jaden said.
"Well, I'm going home." Xeno said, grabbing Xia's wrist. "And old man, I did enjoy your theory about the multiverse today, it's almost like you've experienced it first hand." he said before walking away dragging Xia along.
"Wait for me." Impmon shouted as he rushed after the two.
"Heh, I'm surprised he's leaving so early but that's a relief." Yolei said.
"He also wants to make sure Xia gets home, it's dangerous for her." Xion said, although that last got her wondering if he's finally figured it out on his own but is choosing not to tell anyone until Jaden tells them.
"You all should go home, we can deal with Gururumon ourselves." Alice told them.
"Wait, you still haven't told us about what Jaden said, what is this Cray?" Davis questioned.
"And he said to leave it already." Fabia glared
"You can't just say something so important and just have us drop it." Matt frowned.
"Yeah, we know you're trying to keep it a secret from us, but this can't last forever. How can we trust you all if you can't even come clean to us." Tai added.
"Just drop it, Tai." Nobu told his friend. "He'll tell you in time but now's not the time.
"You know something, don't you." Sai said glaring at his brother who glared back. "Heh, whatever. I'm going home." Sai said before walking away from the group.
"I might as well catch up with Xeno and Xia." Xion said before turning to Catherine. "Let's go Cath."
Catherine nodded. "Good night everyone, good night TK." Catherine said before she and Xion left the group.
"Look, I want to tell you all honestly I do but due to stupidity among us." Alice said, shooting a glare at Jaden and Fabia. "I can't, soon I promise, right now you all should return home, we don't want your families to be worried."
The group knew that they weren't going to get anything more tonight so they decided to take Alice's advice and left the four adults alone. "You know, you talk about keeping secrets and you blab about Cray." Alice frowned.
"It was a mistake." Jaden said "One that I won't make again."
"That one mistake is getting them to ask more questions, and you know that a lot of them will want to know more." Keith stated. "It's time we come clean, those kids are too deep into this and you know you can't keep making excuses especially since you've been outed as the CEO of DragonCorps."
"I'm aware of that." Jaden groaned "You guys head on home, I'll go see Kikyo and check on our uninvited guest."
"You sure?" Alice asked.
"Me and Kikyo alone should be able to deal with it." Jaden reassured her.
"Alright, we'll meet you and Kikyo at home." Alice nodded as she, Fabia and Keith left.
"Things just keep going from bad to worse aren't they?" Dharak asked.
"Ahhh, this must be the universe getting back at me for everything I did in the past." Jaden sighed, before he pushed it to the side and made his way to Kikyo's location.

Kagome was currently in the kitchen fixing herself dinner before going to the living room and waiting for dinner to be done.
Kagome than sighed
Nikko then popped open "What's the matter Kagome?" Nikko asked
"I just don't know where me and Jaden should start." Kagome sighed.
"Simple, just talk." Nikko answered. "No Kaiju, no battles or anything, just talk, go out to lunch or go somewhere one of you likes to be."
"Hopefully strip clubs doesn't count." Kagome chuckled.
"He's lucky that Alice is faithful to him." Nikko mumbled.
The two shared a laugh for a good minute when they heard the sound of the door opening. "We're home." Alice's voice rang, as she, Keith and Fabia walked into the living room.
"Hey, I have dinner cooking in the oven." Kagome told them.
"Thanks Kagome." Keith nodded.
Kagome looked around. "Where's Jaden? Did you all get the Kaiju?" she asked.
"He's meeting your older sister." Fabia teased
"She's not my sister Fabia." Kagome frowned, she and Kikyo may have become friends but Kagome didn't really see her as a sister.
"Well anyway, Kikyo has the kaiju contained within a barrier trapping it in a cave." Alice intervened.
"Ok, why doesn't she just put her sacred arrow on the Kaiju?" Kagome asked. "Let me guess the government wants it for studying?"
"Regrettably, yes, I would rather have a Kaiju killed than allow it." Alice said.
"Hmm." Kagome hummed, she's seen enough monster movies with her friends back home and she knew that monsters plus government equals disaster down the road. "Well, I just hope they come home safe."
"They shouldn't be long." Fabia said.
"So Kagome, how was your day today?" Alice asked, changing the subject
"It was alright." Kagome answered "Still trying to find a new school to go to unfortunately." she said in an uneasy tone, not mentioning the fact that Jaden was looking for up a bunch of schools for her without her consent after what he just did
"You'll find one eventually." Alice told her, she hoped Kagome would find a school soon.
"And if not Alice could always homeschool you." Keith suggested
"I know that, and I'm grateful but I prefer studying from school." Kagome said, she was not a homeschool kinda girl and preferred to go to school and study but she was grateful.
"That's fair." Alice nodded understanding Kagome's reasoning. "So what's for dinner?" she asked
"Indeed, I'm a starving woman." Fabia said
"You keep talking like that and you won't get a crumb.!" both Alice and Kagome told her.
Fabia clutched her heart as she sighed dramatically "Ah, it wounds my heart when my little bird talks to me like that." she cried out
"And this is why not many people like you Fabia." Alice muttered.
"Yet I still have my share of fans back home." Fabia grinned
"I'm surprised that she even has fans back home." Kagome said
"You know how the old saying goes, there's always some fans for Fabia." Keith joked.
"Truer words have never been said." Alice laughed and so did Kagome.
Fabia frowned and crossed her arms. "Hahaha, very funny." Fabia laughed sarcastically.
Meanwhile Jaden made his way through the woods, he followed the location that Kikyo left him on his phone. He soon saw a bright pink light and he immediately knew this was the right place. Jaden came to a stop at a mountain face and saw a pink barrier surrounding an opening.
Jaden quickly made his way over to the barrier, he then saw Kikyo who was in her priestess outfit.
"Haven't seen you wear that outfit in a long time." Jaden commented
"It doesn't matter how much time passes, whether I wear it or not I'll always be a priestess." Kikyo replied.
Jaden nodded before turning to the barrier. "Is it still inside?" he asked.
Kikyo simply nodded. "It hasn't moved since I put up the barrier."
"Good let's get this over with." Jaden said.
"I'm not too sure about giving a Kaiju to the government." Kikyo said, although she had become accustomed to the Modern World and upon learning more about the modern day system she learned to not always trust the political system with Kaiju or Bakugan.
"Trust me, I'm not a fan of it either but the government would be on our tails if I don't allow Sakura to do this." Jaden said
Kikyo nodded in understanding, as she pulled out her bow. "We'll damage its legs to minimize the risk of it escaping."
"Can you actually make that shot without killing it because the government wants it alive?" Jaden asked
"You've seen me use this bow and arrow many times, I can do it." Kikyo frowned.
"True." Jaden said "Stress must be getting to me."
"It's always getting to you." Kikyo said with amusement, before she walked forward towards the barrier with Jaden following behind. "Ok, I'll let down the barrier on the three we go in."
"Remember, no killing." Jaden reminded her.
"I know." Kikyo said as she raised her hand slightly. "3,2,1,go!" she said, dropping her hand which dropped the barrier, before the two rushed inside the cave.
Once inside, the two were met by a huge cavern they saw stalagmites and stalactites fissures and small cliffs, drops of water slowly dripped from the stalactites before hitting the ground its sound echoed through the cave with each drop. Jaden and Kikyo looked around with the way the cave looked; it was easy for Gururumon to sneak up and attack them from the shadows using them to its advantage.
"Tch, this is annoying, it has the advantage of both being able to sneak up and attack us from behind and it can retreat back into the shadows and just repeat that if we give it the chance." Jaden scoffed as he looked into the shadows of the cave.
Kikyo scanned the area, her bow and arrow ready.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Jaden and Kikyo sharply turned to see a few rocks fall off a small cliff above them. Jaden looked left to right, both he and Kikyo knew that Gururumon was definitely stalking them using the dark shadows of the cave to its advantage and it seemed smart enough to do so.
"Hmm." Kikyo hummed, she gathered a small bit of sacred energy into her arrow before she fired it into the darkness.
Once the arrow was out of sight, a howl of pain was heard alerting both of them, before a stream of blue flames shot at them, Jaden jumped to the side so did Kikyo in the opposite direction breaking into a somersault before getting back to her feet.
Out of the darkness Gururumon appeared on the cliff Kikyo's arrow embedded in it''s shoulder which glowed in a pink light along with it bleeding out, before it could attack Kikyo shot four more arrows into all four of it's paws causing the Kaiju howl in pain before it fell down the cliff and landed on it's side a few feet from them.
"they didn't cut too deep, it's only a mesh wound." Kikyo told Jaden before he could say anything.
"You never cease to amaze me with your bowmanship." Jaden said honestly, before turning to Gururumon who glared at them
Jaden then took out his phone and called Sakura, he had to wait a bit for her to answer the phone "Come on lady, pick up the damn phone already." Jaden muttered.
While Jaden tried to contact Sakura, Kikyo walked over to Gururumon. The Kaiju glared and growled at her, but she didn't even bat an eyelash at him. Looked at the Gururumon's wounds, she saw they weren't life threatening the arrows had embedded themself in certain joints in it's legs to prevent movement however she couldn't help but feel like something was off when she first tracked it.
'It ran away from police pursuit, even though their guns wouldn't have an effect on it.' Kikyo thought she knew that Gururumon was definitely strong enough to deal with them easily but running away didn't make any sense.
Jaden eventually returned "Alright I just talked to Sakura, she said she'll be here in a few minutes."
Jaden then saw the look on Kikyo's face "What's wrong?" Jaden asked.
"Don't you think it's odd with how strong Gururumon is why it would just run away from the Police Cars knowing it could easily overtake the police." Kikyo frowned.
"Yes, I'm concerned about that and I do have a couple theories why." Jaden said
"Theories?" Kikyo asked
"Indeed, this theory is the most likely one to happen as well." Jaden said
"Which is?" Kikyo asked
"Our Gururumon is a female and is pregnant." Jaden revealed
Kikyo just looked at Jaden before looking at Gururumon then back. "Are you serious?" Kikyo questioned.
"Dead serious" Jaden commented "Think of the recent behavior lately. Everything all adds up."
"If you know that, why didn't you tell me?" Kikyo frowned. "She fell down from that cliff and I could have hurt the puppy."
"I thought you would have figured it out." Jaden admitted.
"I don't know everything about Kaiju like you do Jaden, I've only been in modern times for at least a year and a half and I'm still getting used to the modern world." Kikyo said, before turning to Gururumon and she hoped its infant was alright. "How long until Sakura gets here?"
"A couple more minutes." Jaden answered.
All of a sudden, a gust of wind came by which unnerved both Jaden and Kikyo. "Huh?" Jaden uttered, turning around and Kikyo did too already having her arrow ready.
Appearing out of a portal, a whole squadron of Tyrannodrones appeared with a beastial-looking cybernetic creature with sharp claws and a spiky mane.
"And who are you?" Jaden asked
"Savage Beast!" the creature snarled.
"Another one of Chaos Breakers lap dogs." Jaden frowned as he got into a fighting stance.
"My master ordered me to bring you to him alive, but I'll be taking a chunk out of you two first!" Savage Beast growled, raising his left claw.
At Savage Beast's signal, the Tyrannodrones attack the two, Jaden kicks a Tyrannodrone down before punching another the chest while ducking a punch, dropped on one knee and spun kicking his leg out sweeping the Tyrannodrone's legs knocking it to the ground.
Kikyo fired several arrows hitting a few Tyrannodrones, some in the head and some in their chests. Kikyo evaded a strike before quickly wrapping the back of her bow around its neck, the captured Tyrannodrone tried to free itself but Kikyo wouldn't let go, at the sound another behind her the miko pivoted turning her body and the captured Tyrannodrone around as the attack Tyrannodrone's claw slammed into its comrades gut causing it to roar in pain, Kikyo released it before kicking both of them to the ground.
Jaden dodged a slash from Savage Beast, the Kaiju's claws which left deep marks in the wall. Jaden looked at the wall and frowned. "Maybe you should get a manicure, you could really hurt someone."
Savage Beast growled at that comment "Perhaps you should worry about what's happening now." he snarled "Beast Ray!" he shouted as he lunged with his left claw sprinting at Jaden at high speed
Jaden barely got out of the way of the attacks. 'This guy's relentless, just where does Chaos Breaker get them?' Jaden thought however that one second of thought, left him open to a back handed claw to the chest.
"Ahhh!" Jaden shouted in pain as he smashed into the cave wall, picking up a dust cloud.
"Jaden!" Kikyo shouted as she fired several arrows at Savage Beast who used his superior speed to evade them, before leaping at Kikyo who's eyes widened suddenly as she let loose a blast of blue fire hit him sending him crashing into a nearby wall.
Kikyo turned to see Gururumon whose mouth was open. "Free… me." Gururumon told her.
Kikyo looked at the Kaiju debating, weighing the consequences of setting a pregnant kaiju loose as she saw Savage Beast start to pull itself out of the wall. Knowing this might possibly come back to bite them later but they don't have better options. she rushed over to Gururumon and used her powers to cause the arrows to vanish now with arrows gone Gururumon got to her feet and howled.
"So you freed a pregnant mutt, it won't make a difference." Savage Beast now fully standing up growled.
"Howling stream!" Gururumon shouted and unleashed a stream of blue flame at Savage Beast who easily evaded before charging forward to attack Gururumon.
Kikyo fired several arrows at Savage Beast who dodged them but one struck him in the arms causing him to roar in pain. "Ahhh! That is it!" Savage Beast roared his patience dealing with those bitches (the dog term) was running extremely thin.
Savage Beast crossed his arms as his claws began to glow. "Have a taste of this priestess!" Savage Beast growled, Kikyo immediately sensed the rise in his power. "Wild Fury!"
Savage Beast uncrossed his arms and unleashed a multitude of beam slashes that hit every in the cave destroying everything in their path, Kikyo looked around as rocks and debris fell all around her. She and Gururumon evaded the falling rubble and blades.
The former miko looked around at the destruction around her. "Damn, he's going to bring down the whole cavern at this rate." Kikyo said she turned to Gururumon. "You need to get out of here."
Gururumon looked at Kikyo confused as to why the miko told her to leave. "You have a baby, you need to get out of here." Kikyo said before she turned to see Jaden getting back up.
Gururumon turned her back to Kikyo before looking back. "Thank you miko." Gururumon said before she ran out to the exit.
Jaden joined Kikyo with a look of confusion. "You just let her leave?" Jaden asked.
"She saved me, so I owed her." Kikyo said honestly. "I just hope my choice doesn't come back to bite us."
Jaden nodded before turning back to Savage Beast who had stopped his attack and just glared at the two, his eyes filled with pure rage. "Grrr, you both are irritating me!" Savage Beast roared as he tore the arrow out of his arm as he rushed at both of them.
Jaden got into a fighting stance and Kikyo, who drew her bow, stood firm as Savage Beast closed the distance between them. At that time several black vans with a large truck arrived at the cave entrance, Sakura stepped out of the lead truck and looked at the cave she would have thought either Jaden or Kikyo would be waiting for her, but she guessed they both wanted to keep a close eye on their special guest
"Alright men, this is the location a few of you, stay with me inside while the rest get the holding cell ready for-." Sakura said only for Gururumon to charge out the cave, shocking Sakura and others, Gururumon leaped onto a van crushing it and vaulted off it before dashing into the woods.
"What the-" Sakura didn't get to finish it as an explosion erupted from within the cave. Sakura looked at the entrance which was surprisingly still intact. "Ok I'm 90 percent sure it's not going to collapse, Jaden and Kikyo might be hurt, call the medic team to have them ready for emergency patiences rest of you with me ."
Sakura and several of the agents entered the cave, they saw that there was definitely a struggle. "Looks like a goddamn battlefield." one of the men said, as he looked at all the scattered debris, and some of Tyrannodrones who were buried and hidden under some boulders.
"Jaden? Kikyo?" Sakura called out to her friends, now she was worried. Wondering what happened here "Scatter, see if you can find them."
The group searched parts of the cave. "Woah, look at this." a female agent said, observing a huge claw mark along the wall as she traced it with her finger. "You think Gururumon did this?"
Sakura looked at the claw mark, and it fell off. "This can't be all just Gururumon, some of this damage is too deep into the wall and look at how wide and long the gash are. They look more like the work of blades than claws." Sakura pointed out something was definitely wrong. 'Were they ambushed while capturing Gururumon?'
"Ma'am!" Another male agent called out, Sakura quickly made her way over to him. "Found a broken bow and quiver ma'am." he said before handing them to Sakura who immediately recognized them, they were Kikyo's only her bow was cut in half.
"Damn it!" Sakura cursed under her breath. "Contact, HQ report agents missing in action."
"What about Gururumon ma'am?" the man asked.
Sakura let out a deep sigh, things just weren't going her way this week. "Track Gururumon, I'll contact Jaden's family and report this, if you find Gururumon don't engage and contact me." She told them. "And salvage whatever you can find here."
Sakura walked out of the cave with a complex look on her face, things haven't gone well at all. Gururumon escaped, Jaden and Kiktyo were MIA and now she'll have to tell Alice and the others, she already knows what this could mean.
"Why does my life have to be so difficult?" Sakura scowled, before she called Alice's number after a few rings Sakura spoke. "Hey Alice… I'm at the cave… no, Gururumon escaped, Jaden and Kikyo aren't with me, there was definitely a fight in the cave… I think they were attacked while they were subduing Gururmon, they must have been captured." she finished with a grim look on her face.
Alice, who was sitting on the couch in the living room, hung up the phone and massaged her scalp; she couldn't believe this was happening. "This is just… how could this have happened?" Alice moaned in anger and worry, things just kept going from bad to worse.
"Alice…." Hydranoid tried to comfort his partner.
"We need to find them fast." Alice said, knowing that this wasn't the time to be emotional, they needed to find Jaden and Kikyo, but the problem was they didn't even know where Chaos Breakers' hideout was.
Just then Keith walked into the living room. "Is something wrong Alice?" He asked seeing her in dismay.
"Get Kagome and Fabia! Jaden and Kikyo have been captured." Alice said, shooting her feet.
Keith just sighed "As you wish, what do we do about the classes Jaden teaches tomorrow?" Keith asked
Alice bit her lip and thought about it for a second. "I'll call in and say he's sick." Alice answered.
"And the kids?" Keith asked "What if they question it?"
"We'll cross that bridge when it comes, right now finding Jaden and Kikyo is our top priority." Alice said with a serious expression.
Keith nodded before leaving to get Kagome and Fabia leaving Alice who just grumbled. "Ahhh, trouble just follows us everywhere we go." She said before racing down to the lab in hopes she could at least track where Jaden and Kikyo could possibly be.
