SONG OF THE HUNTERS
A Percy Jackson Fanfiction
The Spear of Destiny
CHAPTER 2
FORCE AND ACCELERATION
"Who are you?"
Both Tristan and Thalia meet face-to-face.
Tristan was in a defensive stance from this girl's attack on him, he placed the artifact into his backpack which he carried with him.
Thalia still held her shield up in anticipation for an attack from the stranger trying to steal the artifact she was sent to recover.
Both stared at each other in an intense gaze, both waiting for the other to say something or make a move to move past this staring contest. Thalia observed the man that was in front of her. He had daggers drawn, ready to fight. He was very tall, wearing a red jacket with a green scarf. He had long auburn hair tied to a single french braid. He had the eyes of a hunter, they were silvery-gold. But what really caught Thalia's attention on the man was his face, it was immaculate, he looked like Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp back in the 90s had a baby together. Thalia shook her head to focus on the present.
Tristan made the first move and slowly stepped to the side, Thalia following his movement and direction, she and her shield blocked his path, preventing him from escaping through the exit, her shield had a petrifying aura, meant to give a psychological response to fear, but he felt nothing, he did not fear, he only felt one thing… annoyance. So Tristan did the only choice he had at that moment, he attacked first.
Tristan analyzed his target and took notice of how big her shield was, he threw a dagger at Thalia's direction. Thalia lifted her shield to block the attack, but that served the purpose of blocking her sight for a moment's notice, allowing Tristan to rush at her and kick her shield, throwing Thalia off balance from the force.
This gave Tristan the opening he needed to escape the Legion of Honor with the artifact.
Thalia cursed under her breath, the stranger had escaped, she needed to catch up to him and take him down to get the artifact. Thalia manipulated the air inside the room to pull her spear out of the wall. Once she got her spear back, she rushed out of the Legion of Honor to catch the stranger.
Tristan had escaped the area and was vaulting through every object in his path, he took a moment to look behind him and saw that the girl from earlier was chasing him with incredible speed. Tristan doubled his pace to outrun her.
Thalia was using all of her skills to stop the stranger from escaping, but it seems that he is as well-trained as she is when it comes to traversing obstacles. And then, a thought came into her mind, she commanded the wind, just slightly, to give her a boost in speed to catch up with her target.
Tristan was noticing how fast the girl is gaining on him, he needed to shake her off him fast. He began climbing up the buildings in Outer Richmond, climbing the windows and jumping from the fire escape, he reached the rooftops and continued his escape from there.
Thalia saw how quickly the stranger climbed the building and was pretty impressed by his skill, but he was now much further away than Thalia wanted. She began climbing the building trying her best not to look down at the ground. It took Thalia some time to reach the rooftops but as soon as she made it, the stranger was too far away for her to catch up. Thalia cursed loudly at her failure, but then another idea came into her mind.
She looked up at the sky to make a *connection with the birds in the air. Once she connected with one, she used its senses to search for the stranger, and her idea worked as she started to tail him from afar, following him wherever he would go.
Tristan could still sense the girl chasing him, so he went faster, frantically jumping, sliding and vaulting every obstacle on his path. Then he felt a tug. He looked back at the girl who was chasing him, his senses felt a connection happening between the girl and something else, he looked up into the sky to see a bird that seemed to be following like the girl. Tristan realized that the girl was tailing him with a bird's eye view. Using his unique abilities, Tristan hijacked the connection with the bird and manipulated it to take a different course.
Thalia seemed to be sure that wherever the bird is taking is sure to help her close in on the stranger. Thalia was very confident, maybe too confident. The bird took Thalia down to the street level, where Thalia caught a glance of the stranger in the familiar red jacket she saw him wear, he was walking trying to blend into the crowd, she rushed to him, picking up speed. Once she was at arm's length, she tackled him.
"Whoa!"
"Holy shit! She took that dude down!"
"What's going on?"
Exclaimed the bystanders as they watched Thalia pin the stranger to the ground. Once she got a hold of him, Thalia pulled the stranger to face her.
"Please, don't hurt me! You can take my money. Just don't, I beg you!" said the poor man that Thalia pinned down.
Thalia realized too late that this was not the stranger she was after. He was not the stranger she was looking for, but just some random civilian minding his own business. Thalia looked around her to see a handful of people with their phones up, they were recording her. She immediately let go of the man she wrongfully attacked.
"Sorry about that, I thought you were someone else" Thalia apologized. The man she tackled ran away from her direction.
Thalia used her electrical abilities to discreetly overcharge the phones that were recording her, the phones began to sizzle and smoke and until they exploded. The owners of the phones dropped their destroyed phones in shock and panic. Thalia then walked away from the scene to escape into the alleyway close to her. Thalia leaned against the wall and slid down to sit, the bird she made a connection to earlier had landed in front of her, its head bowed down in shame and failure. Thalia petted the bird.
"Don't worry, it wasn't your fault"
Thalia questioned herself, how did the bird misidentified her target? It was doing quite well earlier. But those are questions for later.
Thalia needed to find the stranger fast, who knows what he plans to do with the artifact. Was he simply a museum thief? A hired mercenary? Or was he working for a higher power who commanded him to steal it for their evil plans?
Thalia commanded the bird to go back up into the sky to find the stranger once more, this time with more birds helping her pin down her target.
But San Francisco is a big city, Thalia sighed as she walked out into the street.
" *Sigh* This is gonna take a while…"
Meanwhile…
Tristan believed that he had successfully evaded his pursuer after leading her into the wrong direction. He stopped to take a deep breath, he looked at the sign to see that he was in the Little Russia neighborhood. He felt safe as he was far away from the crazy girl chasing him. He walked quickly through the crowd until he was able to catch a taxi. He took out a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down an address and gave it to the taxi driver who read and nodded.
Once he relaxed inside the taxi, he discreetly looked into his bag to see that the artifact was still in there, Tristan sighed with relief. Tristan wondered if taking this job was a good idea to begin with.
$500,000,000? He knew it had to be a trick when they told him about the job, there was no way on earth that an artifact like a broken spear is worth that much. But when he called one of his contacts to verify it Tristan was shocked beyond belief to learn that he was an actual genuine offer. His client was some sort of priest, part of a cult that collects artifacts and worships them. Tristan only agreed to the job if they were going to retrieve it in San Francisco so he wouldn't leave after arriving back from Alaska, and thankfully, they were already there. And so he took the job and immediately went to the Legion of Honor.
After some time, he thought back to the girl he met earlier. She had the aura of a Greek Demigod, he hadn't met another Demigod like him in a very long time. He can't quite get it off his mind of how she found him. Was there a plot to steal the artifact before he could get it to his client? Was it a test from his client? Or was it something else? He couldn't get it off his mind, but eventually, the stress would put him to sleep in the taxi.
~~Flashback Sequence~~
London, England, Great Britain
It was late, and Tristan was sleeping soundly. But even asleep, his senses were at an all time high, he could hear the footsteps of his intruder, the beating of their heart, and the smell of incense on them. He decided to play along and pretended to still be asleep, he slowly reached under his pillow where he hid one of his daggers and slowly pulled it out, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Once the intruder was in reach, Tristan moved so quickly the intruder wasn't able to react in time, he placed his dagger against the intruder's throat, threatening to slice it open.
"Your reflexes are quick. Good" said the intruder.
"But not good enough" Tristan looked down to see that the intruder carried a crossbow, ready to fire at his chest.
Tristan sighed and lowered his dagger, he opened his lamp to see who the intruder was.
The intruder was a girl, she spoke in a German accent and she was around 18 years old. She had a very slim body frame and pale skin like the snow. She had long platinum white hair that reached her lower back. Her eyes were blue like a lake. And her beauty was that of an angel.
"Christina. You could have knocked you know" Tristan said.
"I wanted to test your skills, Meister Marcus entrusted me with the responsibility to train as you are…"
"Unique… I know" Tristan smiled. He liked the excuses Christina makes just so she can see him. She would sneak into his room late at night on random days and take him on some crazy trip around London.
This time, it was different. He could sense it, Christina smiled a lot, but she smiled like she was the Devil herself.
In all honesty, Tristan felt afraid, and excited, but mostly afraid.
"So… what are we doing this time?" Tristan asked, hoping that he is prepared for the shenanigan that Christina will drag them into this time… he was not.
"We are going to have a little adventure in the Labyrinth" Tristan's eyes widened, is she insane? She must be joking.
"Haha, you're joking, nice joke. Right?" Christina gave no reply.
"Oh god… you're not, oh dear god" Tristan began to panic, all the while Christina was giggling at his distress.
"Are you bloody mad?! There's a reason why Master Marcus forbade anyone to enter the Labyrinth! We could get in trouble! And worse, we might get kicked out!" Tristan cried.
Christina however simply enjoyed what she was seeing.
"Don't worry, I have a plan" Christina reassured Tristan, it barely worked.
"Oh, a plan? Oh tell me O great Christina Weiß, how do YOU intend to BREAK INTO the Labyrinth of all places?"
"I have a map"
"HA! A map! That's your plan? A map?! Oh what kind of map is it then? A magical map that charts the passages in the Labyrinth?" Tristan mockingly asked.
Christina's smile grew larger.
"It's… it's an actual magical map that charts the passages in the Labyrinth isn't it?"
"Ja"
Tristan looked at the map, it looked genuine, so maybe, just maybe, he could commit this one sin of trespassing into Labyrinth for once.
"Let's do this" Tristan smiled, both of them smiled like crazy siblings ready to cause chaos.
Some time later…
Tristan and Christina arrived at their destination and were looking for the entrance to the Labyrinth.
"So where does your map say this entrance is?" Tristan asked, looking back occasionally to see if anyone was following them.
"It's supposed to be right— here!" Christina exclaimed pointing at what seems to be a door. The entrance seemed to be made of metal and it had a Delta symbol on the front.
"Seems safe enough," Tristan replied.
He and Christina opened the door and were met with stairs leading downwards. Both of them looked at the other and shrugged it off and descended into the depths of the Labyrinth.
Tristan and Christina were met with a large hallway that almost went on forever.
"Are you sure that we are in the right place Christina?" Tristan asked, a little worried that they had entered the wrong place.
"I think so, it says here that we should go forward" Christina pointed toward their direction and started following the map. Tristan looked back to see that the staircase they had descended was suddenly farther away than it was supposed to be.
"I have a bad feeling about this" Tristan muttered as he quickly caught up to Christina.
Tristan could feel it, the Labyrinth, it felt… alive.
He didn't know whether if it was because of his connection as a Greek Demigod, or if it was something else
What became minutes became hours.
Every turn there were either two more ways or a deadend.
The directions of the map seemed more unreliable the more they continued within the Labyrinth.
Tristan and Christina began to grow exhausted from finding the exit.
"Are we there yet?"
"Not yet"
"Are we there yet?"
"Nein"
"Are we there yet?"
"No"
"Are we there yet?"
"How long are you going to keep annoying me?"
"..."
"..."
"Are we there yet?"
"ROAR!"
They suddenly heard a roar within the underground, at that moment they knew something wasn't right. They were not alone.
They could feel it, literally, the stomping of whatever roared that loudly. What's worse is that they both didn't bring their weapons.
"Run" Christina said to Tristan, they both ran away from the direction of the monster that found them.
They ran as fast as they could, away from the monster, taking every turn as possible, trying to find a way out.
"A good time to look for the exit!" Tristan shouted.
"Den Mund halten! Ich versuche es, ich versuche es!" Christina yelled at Tristan.
When all hope seems lost, a door magically appeared in the distance, it had the same Delta symbol on it like the entrance.
"There!" Tristan yelled.
"I see it"
They both reached the door and opened it. It was heavy, but they were able to get it open enough for them to squeeze through and shut the door before the monster that was chasing them caught up.
Once they shut the door, both of them were pushed back by the sudden force of the door caused by the monster bumping into the door. It roared angrily from the other side and once the roar died out, both Tristan and Christina sighed, believing it had left.
They looked around to see that they were nowhere near London, as they suddenly appeared in an open field, it was daytime but the clouds covered the sky.
There was one person on a bike who went past both of them.
"Oi mate!" Tristan called the biker who stopped when he was called.
"Do you know where we are?"
"You drunk o' somethin' mate? You're in Edinburgh" the biker said before continuing on his way.
Tristan and Christina looked at each other shocked.
"How the bloody hell did we end up in Edinburgh?" They both laughed at their predicament.
They both walked down the road, hopefully to get a ride back to London.
Tristan was happy then, he had family, friends, and purpose.
~~Flashback End~~
Tristan woke up, a frown on his face, an expression he always wore. Christina was very close to him, she was like an older sister to him, training him to become a fighter, always dragging him into crazy shenanigans, and always looking out for him. It was only a few years ago that—
"Alright pal, we're here" said the taxi driver, Tristan paid the driver once he got off his ride and faced an old abandoned building.
Tristan stepped in front of the entrance and knocked on the door, the door slightly opened to show a guard dressed like a… a knight? This peculiar guard wore tactical armor that was styled like a knight, wore a black helmet, black armor pieces with golden trimmings while wearing green underneath.
The guard looked at Tristan and demanded a password.
"Password?"
"I wasn't given a password…"
"Then no entry—"
"Let him in" an elderly voice was heard. The guard opened the door wide and allowed Tristan to enter.
The moment he stepped foot into the building he was greeted by the same elderly voice.
"Greetings, hunter… we have been expecting you" the elderly man said.
Tristan simply nodded and followed the elderly man into the building. He looked around to see that the place was filled with these knight looking guards, all of whom were watching his every movement. As they climbed up the stairs, it seemed that the entire building was filled with these guards. All armed with swords and spears, no guns though, strange.
They reached the second floor, it was again filled with guards of the same armor. Tristan was beginning to wonder who the hell hired him and what they wanted?
They entered the third floor where the man Tristan assumed was the same one he talked to on the phone, sat in a leather chair, two guards at both his sides. The man who called him on the phone was around the age of perhaps 40-50 years, his skin was very pale, brushed back hair, slim, and wore a black and red suit, with a pin featuring a crow with a sword on its beak on his collar. He did not look very trustworthy.
"Ah, Mr. Theron, welcome, welcome. Here, have a seat" the man offered. Tristan obliged and took a seat a few feet away from the man.
"I assume you are the 'priest' of this cult?" Tristan inquired.
"You are nearly correct, I am no priest, but I do preach the teachings of our patron. My name is Benedict Iscariot, and I serve the Fraternity of Shadows" Benedict Iscariot introduced himself. The Fraternity of Shadows? Where did he hear that name? Tristan swore he recognized the name of the group, but couldn't place it.
"I believe I hired you to retrieve an important artifact?" The question was rhetorical, he wanted to see if Tristan was successful. The hair on Tristan's skin stood firm, it was as if Tristan was being told not to give it. He could feel a cold breeze behind his neck, he couldn't make it out if it was a voice or the wind. Tristan ignored the signs, and he pulled the spear out of his bag.
His smile was immeasurable when Tristan pulled out the broken spear from his bag. He reaches out to take it but Tristan stops him.
"My payment?"
"Ah yes, your payment will be sent to you shortly, but for now, let me see it" Tristan hesitated for a moment, but he reluctantly gave the spear to Benedict.
Tristan observed Benedict, he had a crazed smile, like he had achieved the greatest task in his life, he didn't know why he was feeling it now but, something was very wrong, very very wrong.
He broke an unspoken rule about being a mercenary for the Guild… he asked questions.
"So… what do you plan to do with the artifact?" He asked, treading on dangerous territory when he said the question.
"Why does it suddenly concern you boy?" Benedict said.
"I simply wish to know what I am contributing to, besides, this Fraternity cult you have is quite interesting, I might join" Tristan lied about the latter, he simply wanted to know why he was tasked with this theft.
Benedict seemed to have bought Tristan's answers, and so he replied.
"Very well, this artifact will give us an advantage to a war that will come, a war that will last for an entire generation, and it will be the weapon that takes the final blow at our enemies. A thousand years ago, we were once at the center of power in the world. We ruled the known world for a brief while, before we were defeated and our patron killed in battle, but his remains were recovered, and we immortalized him… well, just his soul, his body continued to rot over the centuries. We have tried time and time again to regain the control we had, but were thwarted by our enemies. They have allowed this world to be broken, to be divided, to be… lost. For centuries we have been in an eternal conflict with our foes, but now, with this… this will be our triumph! This will be our salvation! THIS WILL BE OUR—"
Suddenly, everything seemed to slow down. His body moved on its own accord, perhaps it was a good thing that it did, because what happened was something no one was expecting.
The wall exploded, the windows shattered, the force of the explosion pushed everyone back, furniture was flying, and Tristan was flying through the wall into the hallway of the building.
It was an ambush.
A while ago…
Thalia had been searching for the stranger for a while now, the birds have been trying their best, but it seems that tonight might not be the night. That was until one of the birds above had signaled to her that they found something, she immediately ran to the direction of where the bird was headed, and it brought her to an abandoned building. She climbed the fire escape, trying her best not to look down from the height she was in, and reached the rooftop. She silently looked for the man that she was tracking down.
Thalia found the stranger, but he was not alone, she could see that he was talking to another man, one much older. It seems that the stranger was giving the artifact to the older man. Thalia pulled out her bow and notched an arrow, ready to shoot at them from her position.
Then out of nowhere, an explosion appeared. Thalia instinctively ducked for cover, she slowly peeked to see that there was now a huge hole in the building. She then heard someone shout out loud.
"Vivat Imperatores!" cried out one of the men that charged into the building. They wore Roman looking armor mixed with modern tactical gear, they were attacking men with knight looking armor also with tactical gear.
When the smoke cleared, Thalia could see the stranger lying on the floor and the spear in the hands of the older man lying next to him. She then heard a voice behind her neck, it was soft and very quiet, but her abilities allowed her to hear that those words were simply, "Go…"
Thalia quickly climbed down the fire escape carefully and was sneaking into the building. She was crouched as she was carefully trying to avoid the fight of heavily armed men, she could have taken them, she was the daughter of Zeus after all, but she focused on her mission. She reached the second floor but had to quickly hide from a fight ensuing in the hallway.
One of the Roman looking soldiers was fighting three knights all the same time, with axes on both of his hands. She saw how swiftly he took down one, and then killed the other two at the same time. She heard him say in a very rough and deep voice.
"Találd meg a lándzsát... és nincs túlélő!"
Once the Roman soldier had left, she made her way to the third floor where she found the stranger. The spear was being held by the older man from earlier, she pried it out of his hands. She then tried to escape, but then the voice said once again in a very soft and quiet voice, "Save him…"
Thalia looked back, she saw the stranger just lying there on the floor, she wanted to believe him dead, but she can clearly see that he was breathing. Thalia wanted to leave now, before she was caught by the soldier down stairs. But once again the voice said, "Save him…"
Thalia tried to leave, but this time the voice was a bit harsher.
"Rette ihn verdammt noch mal!"
Was that German? Thalia couldn't think about that right now, so she chose to listen to the voice and save the stranger. She was looking for an exit before she was caught by the Roman she saw from earlier. She now had a good look at him, he was very big and tall, he looked to be about 6 feet or more taller, he had wore the armor but no helmet, revealing his bald head, and giant beard, he also had a large scar that crosses his nose.
The giant man looked at Thalia and saw the broken spear in her hands.
"Alright kleines Mädchen, give it to me, the spear…" he asked not very nicely.
When she didn't reply, he growled.
"Now…" but Thalai still refused, so the Roman raised his axe to hit her, but Thalia countered by shooting a line of lighting at him, sending him flying across the hallway, and landing unconscious.
Thalia placed the spear in her backpack and carried the body of the stranger on her back. Thalia nearly fell out of balance when she felt his weight.
"Holy shit man, how much do you weigh?" Thalia quickly stormed out of the building with two burdens on her back. She found a window where directly down below is a dumpster filled with trash.
"Looks safe, I guess" she threw his body down to the dumpster where it landed.
Thalia quietly went back the way she came and went to the side of the building where the dumpster was. She was glad that he survived that and pulled him out.
He now smelled like crap… good. Not wanting to carry him again because of his weight, she decided to just drag him. She was dragging him on the sidewalk. It seemed painful… good. She had to find a place where it would be safe to lay low for a while, and the place she knows is quite far away… good. Why, you may ask? Well the answer is simple… Payback, payback against the stranger that managed to out run her and steal the artifact she was sent after.
One Hour Later…
Thalia reached the home of her best friend in San Francisco, Annabeth. While Annabeth may not be home right now, her father is. Frederick Chase, he was a Military History professor at West Point, it was the Holidays so he is probably at home with Annabeth's step-mom and step-siblings. Once she stepped in front of the door entrance, she looked at the stranger she dragged for an hour, she had to cover his face with something so that his skin wouldn't peel off.
She then knocked on the door.
"Just a minute" shouted a voice from outside. Frederick opened the door to see Thalia standing outside.
"THALIA! Welcome, we weren't expecting you! Come inside—"
"Thank you Mr. Chase but I—um have a friend outside. And he is—uh, knocked out drunk" Thalia sheepishly said. Frederick looked past Thalia to see an unconscious man outside on his doorstep.
"Oh dear, come on, let me help you" Thalia and Frederik pulled Tristan inside and placed him on the couch in the living room.
"So, what happened?" Frederick asked.
Thalia was silent. But Frederick seemed to believe he knew the answer.
"Demigod stuff?"
"Demigod stuff"
"Oh well, once your friend wakes up, tell him to take a shower, he smells terrible" Thalia nodded.
"Feel free to use Annabeth's room, and don't worry about my wife and her kids coming home, their away for a while" Frederick assured her.
Thalia went into Annabeth's room and plopped down into the bed. She was exhausted.
Thalia pulled the spear that she carried in her bag to see it. She can definitely tell that it's old. Broken, rusty, light weight, and… she focused on the aura.
Thalia knew that the spear was Roman in origin, her time in Camp Jupiter helped the fact, but the aura was nothing like she felt before. It wasn't Roman, nor was it Greek. It was more pure, more powerful, more… holy.
Thalia felt very tired, and before she knew it, she was tucking herself inside a blacket, wrapped herself like a burrito, and now she was asleep.
Meanwhile
The Roman soldiers from earlier were interrogating the knights for information. The Roman soldier that confronted Thalia was beating one of them.
"Where is the spear?! Where is it a fenébe" he shouted. The knight simply spat out blood, denying him of his answers.
He grew angry and swung his axe, beheading the knight. He was going to interrogate another one but was stopped when his name was called out.
"That's enough, Orsolya" a man, dressed in robes, came forward with two guards on his side.
"You mentioned that the spear was taken by a young girl, correct?" Orsolya nodded.
"And in your description, she wore a silver tiara?" Orsolya nodded again. The man in robes then took command and said, "Kill them"
The Roman soldier killed the last of the knights, much to Orsolya's surprise.
"I was still questioning them, Otho," Orsolya said.
"Ah yes but that is not our concern anymore, the Gods of Olympus are now on this trail as well" Orsolya's eyes widened.
"How?"
"The girl you described is no other than the Lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis, Thalia Grace herself, the daughter of Zeus, who by the way, defeated you with nothing but a stroke of lightning" Orsolya's anger grew hotter and hotter.
"She took me off guard. It won't happen again"
"Tell that to yourself" Otho insulted.
"I will find the spear, I will finish what we started, and we will build our order from the ground up once more" Orsolya announced.
Otho raised an eyebrow at Orsolya. But nodded in acceptance.
"Very well, find the spear with haste, the failed dream of our emperors will be resurrected once more" Otho turned his back and left the area.
"Ad Triumviratum" Otho said.
"Ad Triumviratum" Orsolya replied, as he tasked his men to burn what's left of the building.
The Following Morning…
Explosion.
The sounds of screams.
Fire burning.
Cold night winds.
Pain.
Destroy it.
Tristan suddenly woke up, his breath was rapid, his heart beating violently. Tristan looked around to see that he was somewhere he did not recognize, he was on a couch, his face burned like he was dragged between concrete, and his smell. Oh god his smell, it was terrible. He looked at the window to see that it was morning, he must have been hit so hard that his conscience was knocked out. He stood up to feel that his entire body was sore. He looked around to see pictures of a family, holiday decorations and books everywhere. He walked slowly due to the pain, he looked around and walked through the hallway and saw what he believed to be the kitchen. And in the kitchen was a plate of pancakes and berries, freshly cooked, it was as if it was waiting for him. He looked left and right to see if there was anyone watching him. When he believed the coast was clear, he munched on the pancakes like a wolf. He was enjoying the pancakes so much that he did not notice someone leaning on the doorframe in the hallway.
"Good Morning, you're awake" Tristan heard, he looked up to see the girl he met last night from the Legion of Honor.
"What the—"
"By the way, I saved your life, your welcome" the girl said.
"So let's start where we left off.." she said while dragging a chair and sitting on it, with the back rest against her chest as she puts her arms over it.
"My name is Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus"

Yes. The main villain of this story will be the Triumvirate from Trials of Apollo. I found them so interesting as a group that I'm a bit disappointed that I did not find any fanfiction that talks about them, they are unique and interesting, they reminded me of the Templars/Order of the Ancients from the Assassin's Creed franchise. As for the Fraternity of Shadows, you will find out soon.
*Author's note:
Hey guys, it has been more than a month since I posted the first chapter of the story. School has started and right now we are at Midterms, so most of my time was focusing on my studies, but I used up the free time I had to finish this chapter. I also plan to post my stories and chapters every month so that I have enough time for school. I'm also going to post the next chapter for Legacy soon and will be shorter than the other chapters. Until then…
See you guys next time ;)
