While Holly did not blame Alexis for what happened, she was happy her younger sister and Christen were not hurt. Regardless, Alexis held herself partly responsible; had she not fallen asleep, she might have saved Holly. Still, Alexis tried to make up for the disaster by caring for Holly as much as the tow-headed girl needed. Ariel had to admit it was comforting having someone else go through the same disability she was. Although she did feel sorry for the sisters. As for Christen? Yeah, she was only pissed about not getting her hearing back.

"How do you plan to get to Roshi's dimension?" Ariel asked her friends at breakfast, with Comet feeding her.

Recently, Ariel had been testing herself; it is not healthy to sit in a wheelchair all day. So far this morning, she'd been able to brush her teeth, shower, dress, and walk to the kitchen alone! Ariel figured out she could not do anything that might be considered a threat to someone else. So, Comet monitored her while she brushed her teeth and showered, as a toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap can be a weapon if you launch them into someone's eyes! Yes, those are extreme scenarios, but severe cases happen.

"Crystal, Emily, and myself will have to combine attacks. While it is an advanced ability and may not work, it is better than not having any plan. I will admit manipulating space is dangerously complicated. However, I believe I've taken all precautions to minimize the risks, so they are not an issue." Trisha went on to explain the risks and the precautions she had taken.

"Can Crystal use her abilities if she can't speak? Come to think of it, how could she have transformed without speaking?" Alexis wondered if a Senshi could transform or attack without saying anything.

Gracie giggled, "I've been speaking for her."

"HUH?!" Everyone looked dumbfounded.

"From the stories, Mom told me, I remember hearing about Chibiusa using Mrs. Kaiou's mirror when the woman left to raise Ms. Tomoe when she reverted to a baby. So, I thought I'd try the other variations with Crystal. I call out her phrase, and she transforms. I'm sure her powers will work the same." Gracie explained.

"That's pretty clever, Gracie!" Star complimented.

"Crystal is acting as my eyes so that I will be her voice," Gracie replied with a smile to Crystal.

"That's a great idea! Seeing we all lost different senses, we can compensate for our friends' lost sense!" Alexis finally perked up immediately. She had been so down-hearted over Holly's recent condition.

"Yeah!" Everyone agreed.

Later, Chibiusa decided to see if she could re-create any of her previous abilities but only accomplished Rainbow Neo-Moon Heartache. Nothing else could be done without an accompanying item! As she seethed and fumed, a tender hand grasped her shoulder.

"You shouldn't be out here alone." Her older sister smiled.

"A thousand and one apologies, sis. I just needed to think if I have an ability that could help out our friends." Chibiusa tried to convince herself and others she was only doing this to help, but the Dark Kingdom Princess knew better.

"Chibiusa, no one is going to have all the answers. Trisha waits a bit before she, Emily, and Crystal attempt to get to Roshi. Also, I know you want to help, but you're letting jealousy guide you, and it may not be much of an issue now, but if it continues..." Jewel warned, her golden eyes flashing.

"I won't turn into Black Lady again!" Chibiusa claimed playfully.

"I hope or something similar." Jewel hugged her pink sister.

Chibiusa's red eyes widened for a second when she noticed her sister's arms were slim and bony, much like the redhead's mother. This did not alarm Chibiusa as she realized Jewel would undoubtedly inherit some of Beryl's physical traits. Thankfully, Jewel had become more like their father in every other way. Although the Princesses had no interest in fueling their negative characteristics, they tried to imagine what their friends would be like if they were evil.

"I think we can agree Christen wouldn't change." Chibiusa giggled.

"I'm not sure Crystal would change much, except using her smarts to her advantage." Jewel thought out loud.

"Gracie might still be hyper, but she would be vain and breaking hearts." Chibiusa laughed.

"Ariel's change would be easy: Using her karate skills to beat up opponents." Jewel knew Ariel's dislikes were the same as her mother's.

"Emily would turn into a Mistress 9 clone, and Trisha would isolate herself, thinking she'd get used to and like it..." Chibiusa trailed off sadly.

"I know Alexis would turn evil for her sister, but Holly wouldn't change either, as she is already like Mrs. Tenou was before she joined the other Senshi at times." Jewel thought hard.

"What about you and your Senshi? What would you girls be like if you were evil?" Chibiusa asked, trying to distract her mind from thoughts of losing Emily and Trisha.

"I guess I'd be more like mom. I don't know about my Senshi. Maybe they would be like their fathers and Zoisite?" Jewel pondered.

"What if we just don't sleep for the rest of our lives?!" Christen raged as everyone discussed over dinner what they could do to stop someone from losing a sense.

"Even if it were just one night, we would become too anxious and agitated to function properly in certain situations like a battle." Trisha wrote this down as well as said it.

Christen just glared, but she turned away from Trisha to stare into the crystal table as she was not pissed at Pluto's daughter, not even at Kikazaru, who stole her hearing, but she was furious with Roshi!

"Alexis, why are you so chipper? Don't you realize what's going to happen to you tonight?" Chibiusa asked as she saw Neptune's brunette daughter skipping about.

"I know I will lose a sense, but I don't mind. My only concern is my friends' safety. That's more important to me." Alexis explained.

"Alexis..." Chibiusa is still worried.

In just a few years, Chibiusa could not believe how the tiny girl had gotten braver than anyone thought she could be. Part of it could be because Alexis looked up to the rest of them. Each had a trait the short girl admired, and she wanted to be as helpful with a particular little characteristic of her own. However, Alexis knew she must be brave to discover her strengths. This is just one more challenge she has to rise to meet head-on...

That night, Alexis stayed awake, but not because she hoped the monkey would not show up. On the contrary, she wanted to meet him, assuming they were all male. As she waited, the brunette thought, what sense would she most likely lose? It had to be the most important! Neptune's daughter could not pick out of the four senses which one she valued most, so she decided to use the power of deduction:

"Holly lost the ability to do certain things, and Emily lost her hearing, so that means I'll either lose my sight or ability to talk, right?" Alexis thought.

As Alexis let her mind wander, her blue eyes began to droop! Again, Alexis fell asleep, but her body remained sitting up! Peeking open her eyes sometime later, she saw one of the monkeys crouching in front of her and opened her mouth to scream, but no sound came out: Alexis had lost her voice! Raging over what had been happening to her friends and now her, she tackled the monkey and started fighting him! Alexis raised her fist to hit him, but Holly held her back as she could not be brutal like that!

So, sopping wet, the monkey slipped out, and Alexis went back to bed, silently crying. As expected, Holly was enraged but could do little for her sweet sister. Thankfully, Alexis had her friends communicate for her as she learned body language and some ASL. It's not like she lost a severe sense like sight or hearing. Plus, some of the Senshi barely talked most of the time so you could speak less. However, this left Trisha with a horrible thought.

"I'm going to lose my sight. So much for being watchful..."
