A/N - Hey guys, sorry for the break but I had a MUN so I had no time to write at all!

Also btw, I will be going on a break for about a fortnight because I'm travelling! I will try to get another chapter in before I go on the break!

LEO WISHED HE COULD INVENT…look Annabeth was giving him

Grover winced. "I know how that feels. I'm sorry." He said, giving Leo an empathetic look.

"Thanks, man." Leo sighed, rubbing his temples, trying his best to forget that day. Beckendorf kept his hands on Leo's shoulders.

"One more time…"Exactly what happened?"

"He got possessed." Hades stated.

"Its not fun at all. Wouldn't recommend it." Leo groaned.

"Can't blame you. But they have good use if they're on your side." Hades sighed.

Leo slumped against the mast…throbbed from hitting the deck

Hephaestus grimaced and rubbed his head. Percy winced.

"I really am sorry about that." He said to Hephaestus and Leo.

"No worries. I needed a head massage anyways." Leo said with his typical grin. Percy gave him a small smile but he knew Leo's wasn't genuine. He'd seen enough of the 'hiding emotions behind jokes' smile to know.

All around him…"I don't know. It's fuzzy."

Jason and Percy winced in sympathy.

"Amnesia sucks." Jason told his best friend.

"You'd know." Leo said to Jason with the smallest of smiles. Jason chuckled.

"Unfortunately." He said and Leo grinned.

Too many people were looking…that had turned into Frank

Hephaestus sighed as he felt Leo's emotions wash over them. Uncertainty, hesitance, overwhelming guilt and fear. He'd really hoped that Leo wouldn't have felt that way…the way that he himself had been feeling for eons. He might not have kept in touch with Leo and Beckendorf and all his other kids as much as he would have liked to but one thing that he had always hoped for them was that they'd never be haunted by the same emotions that he was.

"All of you looking at him so accusingly is just going to make him much more nervous." Travis said.

"We needed answers." Frank pointed out.

"That wasn't the way to get answers. He's not a criminal and there's no need to interrogate him. You're a team and you have to have the trust and start acting like one." Beckendorf countered calmly. Leo gave his brother a watery smile who squeezed Leo's shoulder reassuringly.

Annabeth crossed her arms…too smart and much too dangerous.

Annabeth scowled at Leo.

"Don't put me into that stereotype. Its ridiculous." She snapped. Leo grimaced and nodded.

"I get it. Sorry." He apologized.

"Leo," she said calmly…They were best friends

"Really?" Chris muttered but everybody heard him.

"Yeah." Jason said, knitting his eyebrows. "Why?" he asked.

"Nothing." Chris shook his head.

"No, really. I want to know what you mean by that." Jason said to Chris and the son of Hermes shuffled uncomfortably.

"Its just that I don't see you guys being very…best friend-y." Chris sighed. Jason and Leo winced at how true that was.

"Just forget what I said. I'm sorry." Chris sighed and shook his head.

"No, no. Its all right." Jason said, guilt churning inside him as he refused to make eye contact with Leo.

If Jason didn't make it…Just…watch Leo. Please."

Everybody who understood how Leo might take it, flinched at the wordings. Annabeth frowned.

"What's wrong?" she asked in confusion.

"You might have phrased it in a way that could make him feel as if you trusted a newbie more than you trusted him even after months and even after he built the Argo II." Katie sighed. Annabeth swore.

"I'm sorry, Leo. I genuinely didn't mean for it to come out that way." She said to Leo who swallowed thickly.

"N-no, I get it. You know, it was important to keep an eye on me then." He said.

"No. We should have listened to you." Percy stated. "You were part of the team as much as any of us were." He said. The rest of the seven nodded in agreement, Beckendorf shot them a grateful look and Leo just sighed and gave a small nod.

Frank nodded…more than she trusted Leo

Everybody winced this time.

"Trust issues suck." Nico shook his head.

"Never heard that description but its perfect." Rachel said.

Annabeth swallowed. "I really should have phrased that better. That's on me. I'm really sorry about it, Leo." She said again. Leo nodded and gave her a small smile this time.

"It's all right. Happens. I was used to it anyways." He said. That did not make Annabeth feel any better.

Once she was gone…odd in his bedsheet toga

"See! I told you it looked like a bedsheet!" Percy whooped, mostly trying to lighten the mood which worked. Everybody laughed and the Romans looked at Frank in amusement. The son of Mars grinned sheepishly.

"I mean, you can't deny it-" he shrugged.

With his gray pullover hoodie…"Your name isn't Sammy?"

"Brother…what kind of question is that?" Travis chuckled.

"A very random one, apparently." Frank groaned and buried his face in his hands.

Leo scowled…this kid for not hating him

"I believed that you had another reason to…uh…you know….which wasn't because you hate Romans." Frank told Leo who gave him a smile.

"Thanks, man. I wouldn't have done anything had it been upto me." Leo told him.

"I know." Frank smiled.

But he knew it hadn't…hands needed to be busy.

"I feel ya." Beckendorf nodded at Leo in empathy

"Looks like its worse for you?" Percy looked at Leo who nodded.

"Because we build a lot of stuff, right? So our hands are always working in that." The son of Hephaestus explained.

"Is it better after becoming gods?" Annabeth asked curiously.

"Not really. Its pretty much the same if not less than before but if we have to use the speed that we got to build some stuff, then it kicks in." Beckendorf told her.

"Speed?" Annabeth's eyebrows shot up.

"Oh yeah, our speed to build things shot up. Like we can construct a multi-story building in a matter of like, 36-48 hours and like copy the existing structure like the basic stuff and just paste it somewhere else as well. But the customization and designing and all will need to be done." Beckendorf told her.

"Okay. That's super fast." Travis admitted.

"How much time do you take for the building?" Chris asked Hephaestus.

"Max of a day." Hephaestus answered after thinking for a while. The Hermes kids whistled.

"Damn." They said.

"Look," he said…"You have a lot of accidents," Frank noted.

"Ouch." Leo chuckled lightly.

"Well, some of us can't turn…used in cement and a bunch of other

Percy groaned and shook his head violently.

"I hate chemistry." He shuddered.

"Oh you aren't the only one." Katie shivered

"Chemistry is scary." Thalia nodded.

"No it isn't!" The Apollo kids and Jason protested.

"And then there are two types of people." Nico narrated.

Ah, never mind…"Is there anything he can't do?"

"Nope." Leo said, popping the p with a grin.

Leo thought: You should've…says you did fire the ballista?"

"Maybe that wasn't the best way to explain the story." Annabeth winced and Percy grimaced.

"Man, I—I don't…instinct in his body screamed, Duck!

"Oh if Percy's angry then you're going to have do more than duck." Dakota shook his head.

Jason grimaced slightly at the fondness that the Romans also had for Percy by now but he shook his head at the thoughts. There was no denying that Percy was powerful and there was no doubt that Jason cared about his brother but it didn't mean that he had to be fond of the fact that Percy's more powerful than him.

He told Annabeth about the damage…Leo of aerial photos of Mars

"Concerning." Ares muttered, making everybody chuckle.

"Hang on, Coach…which was where Leo headed.

"Okay. That's an amazing design." Beckendorf whistled and clapped Leo on the back. The younger son of Hephaestus grinned happily.

On the way, they passed…people homesick rather than happy

"Homesick." Percy sighed "But at the same time the scene of something that reminded us of what we were fighting for." He said with a small, sad smile.

"Sometimes you have to see what you may lose in order to win." Hades told his nephew, looking his dead in the eye.

Percy was staring longingly…I felt it too

"You should have trusted him even then, if I'm being honest with you guys." Katie said to the rest of the seven and they nodded.

"You're right." Percy sighed.

"But it was the first time they were seeing anything like that. I genuinely don't blame them because none of us saw any case like that before or heard of it." Leo said.

"But still." Percy insisted.

"You all should maintain a record of anything unique that you see in terms of monsters for the other campers as well. You all have seen the most and I think it'd be really helpful." Chiron suggested.

"That's not a bad idea. We could make a sort of film like the orientation." Will mused.

It must have been some sort…they were about to catch fire

Frank winced but this time Leo didn't.

"That was kind of harsh though, Frank." Michael frowned at the son of Mars and Frank nodded and gave Leo an apologetic look.

One of his powers as a son…my buddy, I'm good."

"Loverboy alert." Thalia hooted. Percy stuck his tongue out at her and then shrugged.

"That is true." He admitted.

Hazel smiled. "Oh, that's…That doesn't mean we'll get it."

"Facts." The younger gods chorused.

"Chapter's done." Katie announced.

"I'll read." Silena said.
