[Autor-san: Prepare for the worst chapter I ever written. (Not because of mistakes, but just how bad it is]
[Scene Change]
[Hero Association Restaurant]
"Dang it, I really wished I could've seen King in action." Squealed the newly hero girl, Mizuki. B-Class Rank 71.
Mizuki is a tall woman with an athletic yet curvy figure and purple eyes. Her long dark orange hair is tied in a high ponytail with a scrunchie, and she has a band-aid on the left side of her face. She wears a tight blue spandex top with a single stripe on each side, tight blue track shorts decorated with the initials "MZK" on it, and decorates her attire by wearing three medals around her neck.
"Mizuki, I'm pretty sure not even a few S-class have seen him in action." The other occupant sitting around the table was Glasses, Just known as Glasses.
Glasses is an average-looking young man with black hair and a pair of black-frame glasses. Always seen wearing a green white striped tracksuit. Formerly part of the blizzard group, he was now an independent hero within the B-class, rank 21.
"I even heard King was able to take out the Monster Association's Boss without even breaking a sweat." The last member was the Frog headed Hero, Chain 'n Toad. Although having a frog head, it was only a mask. (To boost his popularity and gain attention)
"I think we should strive to better ourselves so that we may also stand as equals amongst-" The toad hero is cut off as Glasses raised his hand in a sober tone.
"If you say S-class, then you must be delusional. We can achieve great things, yes. But have you seen the destruction they can cause? It's... It's inhuman." Glasses said, even tough with a sober voice. He seemed to still hold a bit of hope.
The sober atmosphere is cut true by Mizuki's cheerful attitude.
"Come on, guys! Don't discourage now, like the couch always says, 'A golden heart fuels the mind, but negative thoughts kill the soul!"
"What is that even supposed to mean?"
"Doesn't matter what it means. All that matters is having a strong heart! Everyone's heart can be our own engine to keep us GOING!" Mizuki screams her words of passion as she stands tall with her hands raised.
Drawing attention to their table by her passionate words.
"You stole that last part from a King commercial, didn't you?" Toad's question made her freeze as she is caught.
Slowly sitting down with a pout, she addresses the actual point of her little speech.
"It doesn't matter where it came from. For now, we should try striving to become stronger than before." Her words gained the attention from another figure across the room.
An oddly yet sharply dressed man stood just a few meters away until he heard the plea for power. Shortly appearing right in front of the table in his dark attire.
The man's appearance spooked the heroes as they didn't see his approach. Dressed in dark clothes seeming to be a mixture of a cloak and a suit, he gazed over the table with a businessman grin.
"I heard a call for power? Does being weak bother fine heroes such as yourself?" He spoke in a calm yet deep voice, hiding most of his face beneath the darkness. His words showed a gleam of a gleaming object around his neck.
Looking closer, Glasses could see a black pearl shining with a sinister aura. Mizuki, unaware of the man's possible danger, decided to speak to him with no care at all.
"Who might you be, mister?" Asking with a tilt of the head, the man only snickered at her question.
"I am, dear Missy, what you would call a... businessman." Reaching within his cloak, he pulled a black business card. Edged onto it, a golden emblem, similar to the black pearl around his neck.
"We don't need that." Glasses stopped Mizuki from receiving it as he saw this man was getting more and more sketchy by the second. "Why don't you go ask someone else pall."
Noticing the change in Glasses tone, Toad decided to step in as he also readied his weapon. Mizuki is still confused, only trying to get between the two as to not start a fight within the Association's Headquarters.
The man's grin falls as he sees their intervention was raking up a crowd. Before the confrontation could continue further, a sudden sound reverberated true the walls as the building shook.
The sudden sound was akin to someone hitting a drum, leaving only booming noise to pass true not just the people's ears but their very souls. The first thing Glasses noticed after the tremor was the purple glowing of the man's eyes.
The assailant widened his eyes as he came to a sudden realization. Murmuring words that none were able to hear as even the confident businessman seemed to not believe it.
"W-what?... a... status effect? B-but..." Still left a bit in confusion. The man stood there unmoving, almost as if he was paralyzed.
They weren't given much time to think from the man's actions as the next tremor hit way differently.
Crack*
Slowly gazing to the roof, they all seemed to pale as they saw the lines above. Gigantic cracks spread across the ceiling as the tremor grew louder and louder.
"Everyone! GET AWAY!" The loud scream from Glasses brought back the people's minds as the actual fear took hold.
Every occupant within the huge restaurant started to run at top speed with only fear and base human instinct took hold. One thought on everyone's mind was to survive. Not waiting any longer, the ceiling caved in right in front of the heroes, the smoke cloud obscuring their view, but all saw the impossible before their eyes.
Doom*
Leaving only a gigantic hole beneath them, they saw the debri fall to the lower floors. Only standing and watching, shocked at what they saw.
"Uhm... was that... was that the real.."
"King?"
"Pretty sure that was. But..." The group paused as they all thought on the exact same blur that passed them.
Not the superhero dressed one, not the Christmas masked guy, but the silver blur they saw attacking the Christmas guy.
"Did... Did Flashy Flash... get a new haircut?"
"You Filthy!, Ungrateful!, Mask wearing, Dead stinking, monotone speaking, Backwater-" Insult after insult thrown at him with such ferocity that it almost matched his opponents' attacks with how deadly they were. Keyword being 'almost' as Flashy Flash was unrelenting on his approach against the undead.
The attacks were fast and deadly, and it was kinda hard to dodge when your stats were that of a level 90 mage. Even with the enchantments to make it comparable to a higher level, the speed and agility were completely pathetic.
The only way he was dodging these attacks were true making use of the instant telepotation spell. All tough the spell was the same as [Greater-telepotation, making it instantly activate was eating up his mana supplies.
Even with the increased mana pool, Momonga was still stingy with using it for things that were unnecessary. The waist, even tough being small, was still aggravating to think about.
"Maybe attacking his hair was a bit too much?" he muses as he telepots away from another swift attack.
The shiny hero was a major problem when trying to confront the possible player and superhero. Momonga thought that by attacking the man's pride, he could mentally destabilize him and make him make a mistake. The only thing it did was make him bloodthirsty.
Reminded him a bit of Perochino's creation as it was similar to the blood frenzy she would experience. The sudden rise in speed and power seemed to fit, but the crazy part was a bit different, more focused than deranged.
"Need to get out of this and get to King. Seems he knows something of this Blast fellow." Thinking of the, Now labeled, Player, Momonga stares off on the horizon. Seeing as they finally made it out of the building after going true multiple floors and walls. He sees the multiple miniature black holes popping in and out of existence.
Still not knowing how those things don't affect the surrounding, he looks closer to the small objects speeding across the landscape.
One appeared to be flying while the other was skipping true the dirt. And when Momonga says skipping, he doesn't mean it in a pleasant way. The form of King was tumbling and flying over the desolate ground as Blast threw a few more gravity punches to the man.
Only trying to guard with his two hands raised to shield his upper body, the form of King was surprisingly unharmed. Besides the severe damage to his clothes, the only marks on King were the specs of dirt on his face.
From Momonga's View, King looked shell-shocked from the tumbling experience, while from Blast's view, it seemed like King was letting him hit him. Angering the hero a bit, but he wasn't gonna give in now and lose his cool.
"Dang it, what is taking them so long- Aggh!" Momonga is interrupted as he quickly teleports away, gazing to his chest where a new wound was seen. Not feeling any damage from the slash, but from the heat. His emotional suppressor was doing its job greatly as Momonga hasn't been any more calmer within a fight.
A small hole went true, his chest making one see the scenery behind him. He felt dumb letting his mind wander like that in this fight. His opponent may have great speed, but the attack did little to no damage due to his undead traits, making piercing attacks useless.
The heat produced by the man's speed was the thing that spooked him as he saw the steaming gas coming from the blades tip. The heat was weak comrade to his spells, but with him inhabiting one of his summons body, he realized that they didn't have access to the high tier equipment he had.
Taking a breather, his opponent addresses him in a disgusted and noble tone.
"You really are a petty insect. Seems no mortal wound will kill you." The man says as he flicks his silver blade of any blood. (Kinda dumb since ainz doesn't bleed, probably just wanna look cool)
"For the crimes you have committed on... on my..." The silver hero's words turn to white noise as Momonga focuses back on his true goal.
Gaining some breather room and letting the man ramble on about his deceased hair, Momonga sends out multiple commands to his nearest summons.
His not sure if the Superhero truly recognized him or chose to ignore him, but this chance was the greatest one he'll get. He needs the best stealth summons he could get to gain as much information about this man during his fight with King.
He doesn't know how strong the buff made King or how long it lasts. Hell, he doesn't even know what it exactly did to King, but he knows the sudden energy won't last forever. Or at least he hopes so.
The disparity in strength between the past King and the current King was too great. King now was able to tank attacks equivalent to a black hole spell. He knew a few tank build players that could walk such a thing off without a scratch, but for a buff to grant such power was just beyond broken.
His yddrassil instincts was screaming at him that their was a catch to such a power.
"I wonder how it'll affect my summons if I used it on them?" Thinking such thoughts, Momonga drifts off again to all the possibility these things could hold.
The information was sometimes just too overwhelming and just made him unnecessarily worry. He is constantly waiting for the moment to come where everything hits the fan and his uncovered and Pk'ed for his race. Where he has to ditch everything be once more on the run from Pk'ing assholes that think their better than everyone else.
It was always players like those who gave the guild such a hard time. To be hunted and discriminated against just for their looks. For some reason, he felt like this Blast fellow was probably the same, not just him, but all the heroes.
They only saw monster's as nothing but creatures to be put down. Blast was probably no different. He may have had a lion friend, but he would have probably be considered a demihuman at best. The lion guy was even covered in chains, Momonga thought at first it was a autistic choice but he may even be a slave.
Nah... he may just be jumping the gun on this one. What has the guy done to deserve these allegations anyway?...
Well...
First, attacking his summons without any provocation from his side. Try to talk it out, but the man cares little for what he had to say. Try to speak to his friend. Ended up getting hit with a battle axe.
When he fought back, they were calling HIM the bad guy. In all sense, it was self defense. They were two random guys fighting little old him.
It was until the man spoke of things such as 'his arrival', 'an undead avatar'. This kinda thing sent his mind of track as he wondered where they actually got that information.
They were more of a danger than he thought. They needed to be eliminated. But all this information was also pointing to one peculiar thing. We're they perhaps fellow players? In his mind, it wouldn't be uncommon to meet another player within this world. Satoru didn't see himself as anything special. What happened to him could also happen to others.
He had to abandon the original plan of fighting to win and change to fighting for information. He only gained little about his opponents origin but gained a lot on their strength.
The lion man he could identify to be around about level 90 or higher. Appearing to have more of a berserk build, but the other superhero one had a more interesting set of abilities.
First, he thought the man could be a Cronos magician, but then he saw the great amount of gravity abilities he had, which shifted his thoughts to something more on the lines of a sorcerer. Mostly specializing in gravity based spells or abilities.
The man he could possibly safely say was level 100 true the effectiveness of his abilities. Satoru may have achieved a level up, going past his level cap and reaching a new level of power, but he wasn't going to get a big head about it.
His opponents may have achieved this as well as they have been within this world far longer than he has. From their conversation, he could understand that they knew of his arrival, more things to add to their list of dangers.
The disparity of knowledge between them was a factor he wanted to change. They knew too much about him, and he knew so little of them.
He thought he had a handel on the situation, but then they surprised him again. Within a last ditch effort, the Superhero one came to a conclusion to use something he has been holding back.
Satoru saw it as their trump card, which he saw fit to use an item to negate whatever its effects were in exchange for information. A players trump card was a dead giveaway to what they were truly specialized in and could also signify their strength against other level 100 players.
He knew his opponent was strong, but he was not prepared for the person's trump card to be on the level of a world item. This type of ability could be seen as a world-skill, something akin to Touch's Ultimate attack, which he received by gaining the job class as a world champion. His opponent may also have a class equivalent to such a rank as the attack was potent enough to make his red orb activate. But... there was hope.
The man's attack was strong enough to activate Momonga's orb, but only his orb. The other world item on his finger layed dormant as it didn't see a need to activate. Meaning the man's trump card was strong enough to be on the same rank as a world item, but was still below the capabilities of his ring.
"How I've been preparing for this day. I never thought it'll come this soon."
After spending long hours isolated within that fabric of reality, he had a lot of time to think. He may have had a little setback, but Ainz Ooal Gown does not know defeat.
He has prepared multiple counters to his opponents abilities and even made backups for if he showed other abilities not originally planned for. Not having anything to do in a realm full of nothingness, all Satoru could do was just think.
Looking back on his past failures and learning from them. He may even have read a few of Punitto Moe's books to prepare his mind. He didn't know if the respawn button still existed within this world, but he didn't want to figure out the hard way.
"Okay, all the summons have been notified. Time to see what King can truly do... Also, how long is this guy gonna talk about his hair? His speaking like we are at a funeral now. Weirdo."
"Come ON, KING!? Why aren't you fighting back. Don't wanna use that Oh-So-Great Power of yours!?"Every energy beam, every punch, and every attack seemed to do nothing against the unparalleled might of King.
Blast felt little power from the man, yet his defense was on par or even greater than most opponents he has ever faced. With each attack, it felt like he was punching a mountain, completely unmoving.
He truly was surprised by King's durability. He wanted to increase his output more but first had to get away from any civilians so as not to cause any collateral damage. With his unrelenting attacks, King has remained in the same defensive position this entire time.
"I can't keep holding back like this." Blast thought, as he saw the twitching of King's arm, most likely growing impatient of Blast's attacks.
He has only been focused on putting the most amount of knock back in his punches, but holding back might lead to unnecessary injury. Blast could only wonder what was going true his opponents mind as he prepared another Gravity fist to send him another few miles away from HQ.
"I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die..." The repeating thoughts of King were replaying within his mind like a broken record. Focusing all his might to shield himself, he went into the state of defense similar to a turtle retreating in its shell. Not wondering how he has survived or how he was even blocking the attacks, only fuel running true his mind was the emotion of fear.
Every sense within his body was telling him to guard and protect what he could. Feeling a weird flow running true his body, he could hear the constant rumbling of the KING ENGINE.
"Don't die. Don't die. Don't die. Don't die..." Repeating the words in his head, he flew backward as another punch connects.
The rocks and rumble are destroyed by the flying form of King as he is sent airborne once more.
[?...King]
A weird echo of his voice shocks him even further as his body visually shakes from the surprise. He tried looking around but saw no one anywhere close to them.
[It's me, Satoru]
Realizing who it was, he felt the voice reach out to him in his mind.
[SATORU! Dude, I'm about to die. BIG TIME! What the hell do I do!? Call Saitama? Call it quits. Probably. But- ] The mental rambling of King is cut off as Satoru seemed to put a mental hand on King's shoulder as he calmed the hero down.
[Don't worry, bud. Everything is gonna be just fine. Remember that blessing I gave you?]
King seemed to calm down, a bit too fast than he expected. He's mind refocused as he recalled the thing that has been keeping him alive all this time. The thought of his life possibly being saved almost made him smile. Keyword, almost, as the fear and adrenaline had been keeping his face in a stone expression ever since this whole mess started.
[Listen King. This is very important, and I'd need you to do exactly as I say so we can get out of this, okay?... Now, remember when we played that Dungeon Crawling Game? Well, just think of this as one of our raids... Just like the game... 'This is light work']
[Scene Change]
[Princess Pink]
"Aagh That idiot! Running in head first, AGAIN!"
The irritated and angry princess was furiously packing her small purse as she prepared to head out. Putting in a few elixirs in her bag, she fumbles it closed. Retreating back her pink tentacles, she jumps true the broken wall, on search to her energetic partner.
"Hmmm..." While in thought, she scans the room for the only occupant left. "Hey you, Kid!"
Calling to the small form of Child Emperor as he used the gigantic robot arms to lift the debri away from himself. He first shook as the woman's voice scared him. Speaking to him as a mother would scold a child.
"You're a smart kid, aren't you? Can you tell me where might those idiots have vanis-" BOOOM*
Without another chance to finish her question, the room burst again in panic as the wall was practically melted true. A great explosion happened, causing her once more to lose her balance and drop her purse.
The iron wall, said to hold back even demon level threats with ease, was completely turned into goo. The white super uniform of Blast was completely burnt as a few pieces ended up being carried in the wind as nothing but ash.
Te-Fitti, on the other hand, used her moral instincts to grab Child Emperor at the last moment and jumb out of the way. She may have been a bit hurt as her potions were sent flying from the explosion.
"Hard work again down the drain." She thought, with her face showing her sadness as it seemed the elixirs were truly important to her.
The only thing she could do now was make sure the boy was okay. Seeing as he was, Te-Fitti got up and instantly started to reprimand the hero on the other side of the room.
"I thought you were gonna take things outside!? Does this look like OUTSIDE!?" She may have been angry before, but now she was purely furious at the man.
Wanting to scream at him more, she stopped as she saw he looked right past her as he got up from the floor. Still breathing heavily and having a few minor burns, he glared at the broken wall. An ominous voice breaking the silence.
"Should've expected a super tier wouldn't have been enough."
From the shining light coming in, three individuals eclipsed the sunlight as they stood in the newly made 'door'.
One dressed in an elegant business suit and red mask, another standing front and center having 3 scars over his eye, and the last... unexpectedly, it wasn't a Flashy character, as the third's clothes were a plain yellow uniform and white cape.
The three men were undoubtedly the strongest of all.
Satoru, all tough just coming out of a fight, didn't have a spec of dust or even one wound to be seen. The former hole on his chest created by Flashy Flash was gone. The only change to be seen was the golden ring around his finger. Te-Fitti couldn't put her finger on what it was, but the ring made her skin crawl.
The third hero, on the other hand, wasn't injured in the Slightest. All tough the same couldn't be said about his uniform as it looked to be on the verge of falling apart. The man only held a bored expression that soon turned to an annoyed one by all the dust. Not reading the room, he completely ignored the rest and waved his hand in front of his face, trying to get rid of all the smoke and dust.
Te-Fitti instinctively ignored the man as his face and presence were plain at best. Her mind may have filtered out a few of the things around her, as when she looked to the final person leading this 'attack'. Her mind slowed, trying to comprehend the sight she was seeing.
Right before her eyes, standing in all his might. Covered in a warm golden aura, a man sha has only seen within books. The three signature scars, the stone expression, it was all sooo...
"Please marry ME!"
.
.
.
Seems her words were not chosen wisely. Only coming here for an autograph, she ruined it exponentially. Astronomically. She has truly... fumbled...
"Uhm... I-uhm..." Trying to recover any bit of anything she had left, she spoke to the silent King before her.
Seemed the whole room was silent as even Blast stopped his glaring, only to look to his partner with an incomprehensible expression. The expression screamed at her, "What the hell?"
She knows King may be under a bit of suspicion, but- "WOOOF!"
She looked up as she saw right behind the group, was... a dog? Now that she thought about it. What the hell was even going on? First a giant explosion, then a wounded Blast, meeting King, proposing to him, and now a black dog smelling like a cosmic monster yet looking so innocent.
"Are you willing to listen now? King has already proven he doesn't wish to be your enemy, so?" Asked the creepy masked one, making Blast only growl in acceptance.
"Fine." Even more shockingly, Blast agreed.
"Okay. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?"
[Explanation]...
"WAIT, WHAT!? You fought King and DIDN'T DIE!?"
"We both weren't even going all out. So calm down Te-Fitti, plus it was practically three against one."
The argument of Te-Fitti and Blast soon escalated, leaving King and Saitama on the side to watch the mess unfold.
King, still having stomach cramps from all the stress and pressure, decided to excuse himself from the room. Being completely ignored by the Superhero and alien."I'll be right back..." King said, with as little life in his voice as possible. Saitama replied with a simple 'yup' as King made his exit, shortly returning back to attending to his newfound 'dog'.
"Agh, pretty sure the pain in my chest isn't normal... Maybe it's a heart attack from God?" King joked about the odd feeling from his chest as he closed the door behind him.
He turned down the hall, only to be utterly shook from the creepy yet familiar sight in front of him.
"Oh, King." Satoru greeted him, shortly putting away a piece of paper in his pocket. King is smart enough to know when it's a bad time, and he could see this was one.
"Sorry for interrupting with... whatever you were doing. I'm just looking for the bathroom."
"Sure, sure. I think it's down the hall and take a left. Right there."
King didn't question further and made sure to be on his way. Satoru stood for a second as the faint green light of his emotional suppression took hold. Wiping away the mental sweat, he returned back to his conversation with his shadow.
"That was close, but I think it might be a good idea to keep an eye on him too. Ugh, I'm such a terrible 'friend' right now. Keeping tabs on him might be excessive, but..."
Satoru summoned one of the documents within his inventory. Digging true the few papers, he looked to the magical image of a yellow flame. The flame, taking on a humanoid, was standing with its hands raised to guard the black hole flying towards it.
"With just one buff, a practically level one guy was able to compete with someone of possibly level 100. It doesn't add up." Satoru thought with a bit of worry.
Even with the strongest buffs stacked onto each other from Aurole Omega couldn't achieve something like this, and she was a level 100 NPC specified for that task.
Satoru could feel there was something fishy going on. All tough the Buff 'seemed' to be no longer active,he felt that further testing should be done.
King exhibited great growth in his base stats but also seemed to be able to drain from his other stats and pour all of it into one singular one. Even how broken that could be used by making you the greatest defense or best offense for a short while... it was in yddrassil. Who do you have to blame? Shitty Devs
They added a skill such as that into the game during the few early events of it run, or more actually a similar skill. The skill named [Sacrifice, originally owned by a world Boss.
...Why...
Why the hell does King have a similar skill previously owned by a world enemy. The world enemy in question even had a halo of flames, so is there something Satoru is missing. Is King some descendant of a Long lost Yddrassil Raid Boss?
"Wait, that may actually be true..." Actually, now that he thought about it, he knew practically almost nothing of King. They were both gamers and... that's it.
Only today did he get these new revelations of the guy, but before that he knew nothing. He learned he had connections with Blast, who still may be a player. He learned King apparently was hailed as the strongest even though he never showed any bit of strength.
And in the 'battle' with Blast, he was strongly against fighting. Satoru at first thought nothing of it as he thought King was weak, so he used King's great defense to practically bait the superhero out into revealing his abilities. Satoru only waited till his super tier spell finished its run.
"Ag, and I even had to use..." He felt spiteful by using another charge of his ring. He was still in his summons body, so the use of super tier spells were off the table, but making use of his wish apon a star ring and his ring of Ainz Ooal Gown, he effectively... made an infinite wishing glitch?
The method was simple. Use the wish to lose a gem of the ring, and use his world item to gain a trump card of his former Blacksmith, the [Gold Tooth] skill. Besides the name, the skill was very simple. It was able to restore one item back to its original capabilities before its use.
Ainz Ooal Gown's Blacksmith had many tricks up his sleeve but this one was the least used. In yddrassil it could never be used on consumable items, which the ring identified as, but now...
"Holy shit... Did I just find a glitch?" Satoru almost felt like jumping for joy. He wanted to scream and shout for this ABSOLUTE- [Emotional Suppressor]
"..."
This damn skill had to ruin it all...
"Something wrong, my lord?" The sudden creepy voice almost made his skill active once more at the sheer creepiness of it. He saw that his shadow demon must have returned.
"Ah, Uhm... Nothing is wrong... umu, did you find what is wrong with Corpse. His connection has been severed, but I still feel he may be alive." Satoru didn't know what it was, but something was prohibiting him from feeling the usual connection he had with his summons.
It took him a while to feel the undead signal beneath the building. He merely thought it was the Death Empress but soon realized it was Corpse when the connection was severed.
"We have found a possible cause to this predicament, my lord. We discovered a green barrier within the basement of this building, obstructing us from advancing any further. All tough, we have identified the traces of a battle taking place much deeper within." The demon spoke in a very Villain esk tone and sounding like an old medieval noble. The classy-ness of his speech was giving him major Ulbert vibes.
"Time to conjure my inner Ulbert." With a less determined mind, he brought forth his role player side, trying not to die from the cringe. "Those practices better have been worth it."
"Yes, good work on the mission, but I believe there are other matters that seek your attention. Have you pinned a tracker on that... silver fellow yet?" Satoru wanted to address the result of his experiment.
"We have sent several agents true the gate, and we have confirmed his whereabouts, my lord." The demon spoke with an evil grin on its blackened face.
"Oh, so [Gate] does work on others even if they are hostile. This is good to know as I could use this to basically teleport most into space or something. But..."
Satoru's enjoyment soon turned to a feeling of dread that even made the demon's skin crawl.Without realizing it, he accidentally released a bit of his dark aura from remembering the words of a certain hero. As the hero said, "Ainz Ooal Gown... a name I despise with all my heart."The words were briefly spoken during Blast's confrontation with King. Seemed the man was spiteful against the name for a particular reason. Maybe of how Satoru, while under the name of Ainz, almost killed his comrade, or... an old wound from yddrassil.
He didn't want to jump to conclusions, but the evidence was great in number. Blast didn't appear to recognize him in the slightest (probably due to his over cautiousness and Dozen of protective spells), but whatever the reason may be. This was his only chance to get closer to him and determine the whereabouts of other players.
His enemy was able to survive a [fallen down] with minimum injury. Even though the spell wasn't as strong if it was casted by his original avatar, it was still a super tier spell none the less.
"Yo dude."
Satoru stopped his thoughts from the intrusion. Looking back, he saw the yellow dressed hero and the... dog creature. Satoru wasn't an idiot and could see the dog was, well, not a dog.
He thought it was a creature native to this world, which tingled his collective side, but he stayed his hand... for now. From casting a few spells, he has learned the creature had very few racial levels, but many levels emptied out. They were levels that were present yet still at the zero mark.
The 'dog' even had levels into job classes he had never heard of before, such as the job class [Dog].
"Like, who was this thing fooling? It was clear to see that thing was definitely not a dog. And shouldn't dog be a racial class and not a job class?"
Satoru was briefly trying to rap his head around the stupidity of the 'build' the dog had, but instead decided to shelf it."Need something?" asked Satoru the Bald hero. He was only able to briefly get acquainted with the hero.
Learning his name was... Sati- Saito- Sara... Sa-something. It wasn't his fault the man had a forgettable face. But without him, he wouldn't have gained the distraction he needed to catch Blast off guard.
The man just appeared out of nowhere and started to converse with King, completely ignoring the barrage of black holes. Only King seemed to know him but identified him as a friend before things got ugly.
"Maybe I should keep an eye on him to. Dang it, what is it with all these strong people appearing left and right? Isn't isekai stuff like this supposed to be easy... well, it's only easy for the main character, I guess." Satoru thought with a hint of regret.
He got knocked back to reality as the hero replied to his former question. "Know anywhere the old gramps went? He was the one who kind of told me to come here."
"Gramps?" Satoru repeated the word as he wondered who he was talking about.
"Wait, does he mean Silver Fang? Now that I think about it, where did he and that Samurai disappear?"
[The Samurai and Gramps]
[Separate Space]
"Tatsumaki, what was your plan of attack again?" Atomic Samurai asked the Esper as her body twisted back all the former 'broken' bones.
"What the hell are you speaking? Trying to say I actually need a battle plan for these weaklings!?" She half screamed to the man as she used her powers to effortlessly break the bone chains around her."So you just been attacking with no plan this entire time?" The Samurai wasn't trying in the slightest to hide the foolishness he saw in her mindset, but remembering his own past actions and fighting style, he frowned from the irony. "I guess I technically have no room to talk about not having a strategy."
The two break away from their argument as they hear another booming sound. Looking at the darkness, they saw the approaching form of Silver Fang as he cleaned his hand from the monster blood.
"Seems they just won't listen to reason." The old man said as if to lecture the monsters, leaving huge pile of monster corpses behind him.
"Hey, Silver Fang -" Atomic Samurai called out to him as he sheathed his sword. "These things won't end. Have you managed to find that Skeleton guy, cuz all these monsters are starting to get old at this point."
Silver Fang only shook his head, making Atomic Samurai grumble in annoyance. First to complain was obviously the most hot-headed and prideful of the three.
"When I see that Empress Bitch, I'll GOD DAMN RIPP HER TONGUE OUT FROM HER EYE SOCKETS!"

[several dimensions away]
"Miss Fubuki, what are your orders?" Eyelashes asked with determination but still worry.
Fubuki sat only a couple meters from her group of now only ten, attending to the wound given to her by the skeletal creature.
"This separate space is still an enigma to us. For now, we should heal and recover. We will cycle the watch routine for any monsters while the others prepare for their arrival. My sister seems to still be within this space, from what I can feel of her connection at least. But for now, we are on our own." She spoke her orders with little encouragement, but her team understood them well.
All she hoped was that her sister found them in time before another group of those creatures showed up again. She may not know what this locked space they were in, but she knows it's the result of that Empress women.
Seems she may have underestimated her foe to a great degree.

[Author-san: Ugh... Well, I wrote that. Don't know why, don't know how. All I know is it was - ugh. wanted to write more of aliens but had to write a bit more of other things. Didn't know how to handle the chapter due to my mind being conflicted on how it should've gone.
Wondering probably why Saitama was there. He is usually like always just there. Plus, when King's on stage, u know his stand will show. Leave a ugh if u enjoyed the chapter, or leave an agh if u didn't]
[comment from Joseph Dumbledore: "Agh"]
