Warning: Know of these characters are mine; they are from a show called Amphibia. This is an AU where instead of Anne being sent to Wartwood, Sasha in Toad Tower, and Marcy in Newtopia. Anne is in Toad Tower, Sasha is in Newtopia, and Marcy the main character of this AU is in Wartwood, Enjoy.
Chapter 1: The Beast
Wally has just left Stumpy's place after drinking a nice cup of Bog Water. He was trying to find his way home, but ended up going the wrong way, just then he heard something lurking in the bushes.
"Who's there?" Wally said, but the "thing" didn't answer. So Wally ignores it and tries another path.
The Next Day
Maddie was out in the forest looking for some ingredients to make her next potion.
"Alright, now I need a piece of hair from another creature for this cloning spell to work, better do this before my sisters get here" Maddie says.
Just then she hears something in the bushes.
"Now's my chance" Maddie said, but before she can arm herself with potions, the creature she heard falls out of the bush and passes out.
"What the? I have never seen a creature like this before" Maddie said.
Then she hears the creature groan "Help me" Maddie is shocked that the creature can speak. She decides to bring it to her house to study it more.
She enters through the door of her Dad's bakery.
"What are you doing with a body bag?!" Maddie's Dad asked.
"Oh nothing, just working on another spell" Maddie said.
"Okay, just don't let the rest of the town folk see it, they will freak '' her dad said.
Maddie drags the bag upstairs to her room, passing her three sister's room while they are asleep.
Maddie opens the bag and the creature is still saying the words "Help me" and now it's saying "I need water".
Maddie does what the creature says and brings it a wood cup of water.
The creature drinks it and says ``Thank you, you won't believe how long I was out there with no food or water" The creature says.
"Who, and What are you?" Maddie exclaims.
"Fascinating, I've never seen one of you up close". "Are you a frog?". The creature says.
"I'm the one asking questions here, you hear me?" Maddie said to the Creature.
"Okay, Okay, my name is Marcy Wu and um, You could say I'm not really like you people, I'm a human" Marcy explains more about how she got here and what she is trying to do.
"Okay, I've never heard of a planet called earth, or a creature called a hummus?" Maddie says.
"It's human". Marcy said
"So you don't know how to get back home or find your friends," Maddie says.
"Yeah, I don't" Marcy exclaims
"Don't worry I'll help you get home and find your friends, but first you need to recover, don't worry since my Dad owns a bakery, I'll get you some fresh bread and water. I'll introduce you to them when you're ready" Maddie says.
"Thank you so much, do you think I could stay here for a bit" Marcy says.
"No problem, I'll be back okay," Maddie says.
"Okay bye, wait what's your name". Marcy says.
"My names Maddie, Maddie Flour" Maddie says.
"Thank you Maddie for all the help" Marcy says
As Maddie leaves the room Marcy wonders if it really was a good idea to steal the box so she and her friends can be together, because right now she doesn't know where they are.
Far Away from Wartwood
"Tell me right now who sent you and what does this box do" a Mysterious figure says
"I told you I don't know, just please let me out of here, I need to find my friends" another creature says.
"Well you better tell us now or you will be in this tower for the rest of your life, Anne Boochuy". The Mysterious Figure says.
