A New Chapter

Prolouge

TIME: UNKNOWN

"So, why is it that you have called me here?"

The voice echoed, one of a young man, or perhaps a young woman? Coming into view was a glowing form, a humanoid made of pure golden light looked up at another much larger being. This being seemed to change forms but kept a mostly humanoid figure and looked like they were made out of the astral plane as galaxies and stars flickerd, die, and are born constantly. This was the Watcher, a being that exists in the multiverse and watches over them and their existances.

"A universe that I have been quite fond of is in trouble. From what I have seen it has been put on a path towards ruin and destruction."

"How is this possible, what about the Sentinels? The Narrators?"

"They both have lost faith in it, those who create the narrative are putting the universe's narrative downhill. They have moved on to other universes, but I will not abandon that world."

"What do you suggest we do, Watcher."

"We shall intervene."

"WHAT!? Tha-."

"Against the laws of creation, yes. However I am one of the authors of the laws, remember? And they can be bent every once in a while."

"What about the others, if they learn about this?"

The golden one seemed worried about these "others", but the Watcher just waved their hand dismissvly.

"If so what would they do, there's an infinite amount of univers, so what if one's narrative is changed? Plus it is our job to protect creation, and we are preventing destruction. So please help me save this universe."

The golden one sighed looking down and putting their hands down on their hips thinking. Go against the ancient laws and mess with a universe's timeline in order to save it from destruction by the hands of its creators? Yeah it's definitely an easy decision. After some time they groaned and relented.

"Fine Watcher, I'll help you out, though I'm not sure I'll be of much help if we get discovered."

They would get a pat on the head from the wtcher who chuckles.

"Not to worry Gold, they won't know a thing. Now for my plan."

The two would be whisiked away and reappear to a balcony which overlooked a sea of shape, the multiverse itself in all of its glory. But one was of particular interest, the Watcher would hold out their hand towards ther expanse and one is highlighted in a silver silver light. The universe itself was a sphere butit seemed that a corner of it had shattered and was floating off of it yet not leaving the rest. This was the RWBY Universe.

"Oh I've heard this universe was quite popular awhile back. This is the one you want me to save?"

"Yes, and I have the perfect way to do it."

With that some other universes would come over. One was a perfect sphere glowing a royal purple, another was more of a half sphere glowing in fiery colors, the 3rd was much larger, seemingly having other universes being a part of it colored orange. And the last was a white cube.

"Hey hold on I didn't know we were getting other universes involved in this."

Gold walked over looking up at the Watcher who would just look down at them and give what looked to be a grin.

"You didn't ask for the fine details~!"

Gold would groan and facepalm, this was just going to be beautiful.

"Anyways I chose these universes for a reason, they have individuals there that can help the people of the RWBY universe. And thankfully it won't leave a noticeable change as for some their stories are or already have ended, though for one I'll have to do a bit of illusion to mask." After they say this 4 portals open up infront of them matching the colors of each universe. "Now I just need you to hop on through, find them, and bring them here so I can send them to RWBY."

Gold would stare at the portals for awhile before jumping up and becoming a ball of light.

"I hope this is worth it."

Before slying into the purple portal, off to get the first "hero". After they disappear the wtcher would turn to the RWBY univer to see another crack appear, they would sigh almost sadly before saying to themself.

"I hope this works."

Writer's Note:Hey look I got it finished, I'm sorry if it's real short but I write on Docs cause it's easier and may not translate over to well, and I'm not sure how it'll go on Wattpad but hey let's hope this story works!
