Charity woke up the next morning on her birthday. This was indeed a big birthday for her. She couldn't wait to celebrate.
Luan made breakfast for her, which she appreciated greatly. She ate every bite.
Harriet walked up to Luke.
"Oh. Good morning." Luke says, combing his golden blonde hair.
"Good morning, Luke, I have a few questions." Harriet says, pretending to be Lucy.
"Sure, fire away." Luke says. He was now in his walk-in closet, looking for his "outfit of the day".
"What do you think of our siblings?" she asked.
He starts talking about the ones that Lucy described as nice, which in fact, they were. Then he talked about the others.
"Interesting…" Harriet says, taking notes. "And what do you think would be a good gift for your mom?"
Luke thinks for a minute, then finally remembers.
"I remember her saying she wanted this nice perfume set that she could use on her next date with Garrett's dad." Luke says.
Harriet goes out to buy it.
"There's something off about her." Luan says as she helps Luke find a nice sweater for the day.
"Hmmm…" Luke says, choosing an argyle sweater in all different shades of blue. He pulled it over his head and fit it over his light blue dress shirt.
"How do you use this stupid device?!" Harriet's voice says offscreen as there was a crash.
Lori noticed the TV was broken. Which in turn made Charity scream.
"What the heck?!" Lori says.
"NOT AGAIN!" Charity screamed. "THAT'S THE 5TH TV THAT GOT BROKEN!"
Lisa starts repairing it. Charity sighed in frustration and left the house.
"Okay, who are you?" Lynn asked Harriet.
"I'm Lucy, of course." Harriet lied.
"Really? Because the real Lucy has used the TV before." Luan says as Harriet made a run for it.
Lola was in the kitchen, making Charity's birthday cake.
Meanwhile, Lucy was relaxing in a magic hot tub. But she couldn't help but feel that something was amiss.
There was a knock on the door as Lucy froze.
Meanwhile, Chalice finds Luke. She wore a nice yellow dress.
"You're here early." Luke says with a smile.
"Yep, I came to help." Chalice says as Lola decorates the cake with sugar and sweets.
Harriet arrives back and sees a mob at her house. "Oh, no." Harriet says and teleports inside.
"Lucy, what happened?" Harriet asked.
"You don't wanna know." Lucy says.
"You need to return, Lucy. It's for the best. I have no idea how a TV works." Harriet says. Lucy frowned, not wanting to go back home.
The others took Charity to a movie. She looked a bit skeptical when she saw it was a movie they liked.
"It's Luke's favorite and mine, too." Lincoln says.
"If you say so, sweetheart." Charity says.
Later, Lucy was decorating. She sighed as she missed her grandma Harriet, but she was also glad to see her alive.
She used Charity's favorite colors. Good thing she and Luke have similar tastes and likes. Charity also likes the color purple.
Lucy blew up balloons and waited for the food.
With Charity, she felt slightly annoyed. So far, her 50th birthday has been an unhappy one.
They took her shopping. She bought a few things. She then sighed and looked at the jewelry display window at Jenna's Jewel Hut, seeing the opal necklace and bracelet set she always wanted, but never got.
Lola decided she'd buy it for her. Luke beats her to it.
Charity sighed, thinking of Forest. She knows he probably forgot about her birthday.
Later, Lori blindfolded her and led her to the party. Luke took off the blindfold and Garrett and his father popped out with the other guests.
"Happy birthday, Charity!" They say. Confetti blew around as Charity was stunned.
"Awww, this is amazing! You all are too kind…" Charity says, brushing away tears of joy.
Forest got her flowers as Charity sniffed them. He had gotten her 3 dozen roses in assorted colors. Roses were Charity's favorite flower.
"I love these flowers!" Charity says before going to put them in a vase with water.
Luke's friends' parents made the trip.
"Guys, I'm sorry about the TV." Lucy says.
"Lisa fixed it." Luan says.
Lucy sighed, realizing they never figured out it was Harriet.
Meanwhile, Emila noticed some headless bulls running around the witches' realm. "I can't take them on alone Guess I'll need backup" Emila says and tries calling Angry Luigi
Angry Luigi was looking around at the party food. "Stephen, remind me to call you in January. My mom's celebrating her birthday then." Angry Luigi says before getting a call.
"Yello, Cosmic Buddies services, how may we help you?" Angry Luigi asked.
"Get here now! Lucy caused a big mess dressed as Harriet and I can't stop it alone!" Emila says
Angry Luigi hung up. "Hey are those blueberry muffins? My favorite!"
"Witches' realm? Okay, boys, let's do this!" Alem tuber says as he and his pals leave.
Forest twirled Charity around as their kids watched.
"So this is just hitting me now. You're going to be brothers." Colleen says
"Eh…" Luke says and shrugged.
After the dance, Garrett goes over to Savannah.
"Here's the ring." Savannah says when Charity wasn't looking.
"Great!" Garrett says.
Later, Charity opens some of her presents as Rita got her a new stand mixer for the kitchen.
"Oh, wonderful! I needed this!" Charity says with a smile. "And it's lavender! What a beautiful shade of purple!"
Forest walked to Charity with a small box in hand. "Charity, when we met, you changed my boy's life. He wanted nothing to do with anything, but now look at him and Luke. They're practically inseparable. So I guess it led to us having some nice times together." Forest says.
"He isn't wrong. " Garrett says, smiling.
"What's he getting at?" Leni asked as Lola put her hand over Leni's mouth, standing on Lynn's head.
"Charity, my honey cake, will you marry me?" Forest asked.
Charity gasped with delight. "Oh, Forest! Oh, my goodness, yes! Yes, I will marry you!" She says, a big smile on her face.
Forest and Charity kiss.
"Awww, he got her a better gift than basically all of us combined." Luke says.
"Now, hold on. I haven't opened any of your gifts yet." Charity says. "I'm giving all of your gifts a fair chance of being likable."
"Yes, but what beats the gift of making best friends brothers? I'm happy for Luke." Lisa says.
Charity opens Lori's gift and sees a new iphone. Lisa got her a butler.
"Oh, how delightful!" Charity says.
Lucy gets on stage and reads a birthday poem, which delights Charity.
"Here's my gift." Luke says. Charity smiles.
"I wonder what my sweet treasure got me this year…" Charity says as she opens it. She reveals the opal jewelry set she saw in the mall.
"Oh, Luke, thank you, sweetheart!" Charity says. "You always know what I like, my sweet, sweet jewel…"
Meanwhile, a headless bull rammed towards Emila, who leaped over and noticed Alem tuber and his friends were turned into stone.
"Those idiots…" Emila says and notices baby Emma spitting out acid muffins.
Emila gets an idea and feeds Emma a magic pepper as Emma unleashes a mouth fire blast. (similar to Polly from Lost In Newtopia. that episode is underrated as heck.)
This melted the headless bulls. "Who would have thought a baby would save the witches' realm?" Emila says and looks at Alem tuber and decides to leave him there, not really caring.
She arrives at the party and sees Charity opening Leni's gift, which was a new dress.
"A new floral print dress! It's absolutely stunning! Oh, and it even has a hat to match! How wonderful! Thank you, Leni, this is a lovely gift." Charity says as she hugs Leni.
"Here's my second gift " Lucy says and performs a piano duet with Cuphead. Charity smiled at this as she loves piano music.
After that, Luke and Luna decided to perform. Charity smiled and watched. They performed some of her favorites.
"That was amazing!" Charity says.
"Thanks!" Luna says as Luke smiles.
After that, it was time for board games and refreshments.
Lucy was actually winning most of it due to Harriet's training.
"Guys I met grandma Harriet she was super cool though she doesn't know too much about technology and she's a whiz at magic. We played some dark board games." Lucy says as Rita frowned hearing this. She and Harriet were at odds.
Luke began to eat with Garrett.
"Wait, you swapped places?" Lori asked.
"Yeah, she can't be seen in this realm, so we decided to. Also, Grandma Harriet would also know what you guys are really like and how you treat Luke. She wasn't impressed, but she left a gift for Mom." Lucy says.
"Oh, what is it?" Charity says, opening it to reveal the designer perfume set she wanted. She smiled at this.
"How nice!" She says.
Luan began her comedy show. Everyone laughed at her jokes and she even did some improv. That impressed Forest.
Later, Lynn did watermelon smashing as Charity grinned. That was a childhood tradition in her family.
After that, they danced. Lucy wrote poems as she was thinking of her grandma.
Luke was feeding Chalice some of the food. Luna plays music while Hops does some tricks.
Soon, it was highlight reel time. But Charity just looked away.
Luke frowned as he edited it. But Charity could see she was making Luke sad.
He starts crying.
"Oh, no, honey, I didn't mean to upset you!" Charity says, running to her son's side.
Luke runs away. Charity tears up as she never meant to hurt him.
Lucy follows him.
"Luke, she really is sorry…" Lucy says.
Luke was upset.
"Luke, Mom said she'll accept it. She really means that. She didn't mean to upset you." Lucy says.
Luke decided to head back, where his mom smiled at the highlight reel. Lucy smiled.
Luke then eats some food as Lucy felt guilty about switching places with Harriet.
Later, it was dessert time. Charity had gone to get changed for cake time.
Lola goes to get the cake.
Charity returned, wearing the dress Leni made for her.
The lights were off as Charity looked around. The lights came back on as everyone was standing around a table that had the cake on it.
"Wow!" Charity says. "What a cake!"
Lola smiled. It said "Happy 50th Birthday To Charity!" in purple icing. There were even 50 candles on it.
Leni got a camera and started to record as everyone sang to Charity. Charity smiled as she thought of her wish. She wished Luke and Oliver would win Audition and for a happy marriage. She blew out all 50 candles in a single breath as cheering ensued.
Lucy smiled and was happy for Charity, but looked away, not sure why Rita lied to her.
"Lucy, listen, Harriet is a dangerous person." Rita says.
While that happened, Forest fed Charity her cake. She smiled at this and kissed him.
Lisa started a drone show. Charity loved every second of it.
Soon, Lola starts to cry, not wanting to get separated from her siblings.
"You can't pull us apart!" Lynn says.
Charity just watched them cry.
"We're so sorry!" Lana sobbed.
"Please don't separate us!" Lola sobbed.
"Have you learned your lesson?" Charity asked. They nod.
"Now, I won't make you go. But the Millers are moving into the manor." Charity says. "Since Forest is going to be my husband, we're going to get used to living together."
The siblings hug.
That night, after the guests left and everyone went to bed, Lynn and Luke hear Lucy crying in her sleep, having a bad nightmare.
Luke groaned as this interfered with his beauty sleep, so he got Lisa's headphones to mute it out as he fell back asleep.
"Lucy, what's wrong?" Lynn Asked
"I miss Grandma Harriet, but I can't go back, not after ruining things in a different realm. Not to mention Rita says Grandma is dangerous." Lucy sniffed.
"Look, Rita was kind of right. Great Grandma Harriet didn't have empathy and had no clue about emotions, so she tested lots of spells and nearly destroyed Royal Woods, so she got banished. Rita wanted you to never know about this, thinking you'd leave. Besides, the witches' realm is dangerous. Look, I'm sure you'll see her again. But why don't you plan Luke's anniversary? That usually cheers you up." Lynn says, getting Lucy's book.
"Sniff. Okay." Lucy sniffed as Lynn watched her.
Charity overhears this as Forest laid beside her in bed.
"I'm so glad Luke and Garrett can share a house." Charity says.
"Me, too." Forest says.
