(A/N: OMG, I can't believe it, the final chapter is here. I hope everything is updating ok since I know that FFN has been glitching out lately; I've actually been having a lot of problems with posting and updating on my end because of it. Regardless, this has been such an incredible journey to explore this story and adapt it, I really had a blast, and it really helped my writing, I think, in how I was adapting rather than simply writing from my head. I know you're all eager to see how things end, so let's wrap this up. Enjoy.)

Chapter 13: Reality With You
"You shot him!" Judy shouted as tears filled her eyes. "You monster!"
Miles just sneered as he stood beside the fallen Nick, pointing the gun directly at his head. "Thank you for stating the obvious."
He was still smiling. How could he be smiling like that? Did he possess any semblance of a conscience? Judy didn't see how that was possible. It was as if he was completely devoid of all emotions except rage and hate, and the sadistic glee he got out of unleashing these two emotions upon others.
"How…?" she asked, her voice almost cracking as she suppressed a sob. "How can you live with this?"
"Simple," he stated matter-of-factly, giving her a small shrug. "I know in my heart that I'm doing Zootopia a favor."
"What favor!?" she cried, the gun in his hands being the only thing stopping her from running to Nick's side. "Killing innocent animals?"
"Innocent!?" Miles repeated, spitting out the word as if it were offensive. "They waste our money, our time! Our city is dying because of those animals, and I'm the only one that's doing anything about it! All they do is whine and complain when they should be out there bettering themselves!"
He pointed the gun directly at it her. Even with one of his eyes red and swollen from the blow she had landed; it wouldn't take much to hit her from this close range. But while she was aware of the danger, she wouldn't back down, she wouldn't leave Nick.
"Some of them can't," she told him, trying to get him to see reason, even if she knew it was in vain.
"Well then they're of no use to society!" he shouted at her, and shook his head in disgust. "You know, fifty thousand dollars was donated to them by a Gazelle concert. Fifty. Thousand. That could be going to children with dreams and aspirations, not homeless drunks with nothing! I'm doing this city a favor! I am taking them out!"
In a sick, twisted way, Judy could almost see his point and how, beneath his insanity and hate, he really did think he was doing everyone a favor. In his mind, he was the hero of his own delusions trying to fix a real problem that would help the city, and animals like her and Nick were standing in his way, making them a problem as well.
But he was letting his own personal feelings warp his view of the world, only seeing one side of things and not realizing just how much of a monster he had become. He really didn't see those he was trying to get rid of as animals, and he viewed anyone who stood in his way as acceptable collateral damage.
"There are homeless teens with dreams," she pointed out, desperately trying to reach any form of compassion he still might hold. "You're really going to kill teenagers? Kids?"
His smile fell away as he stared at her, leaving him with a cold, unfeeling look on his face. "What do you think?"
On the ground, Nick groaned as he tried and failed to get up. Miles didn't even glance at him as he kept the gun leveled at Judy. She knew she had to keep him talking. As long as he was talking, he wasn't killing them. If she kept him talking long enough, maybe someone else, Lopez, Myrthil, or even Healy would come and help them.
"You lied to all of them," she said quietly.
He practically rolled his eyes. "Well of course I did. How else was I going to win the election?"
Judy's vision was blurry now, but not from the rain, and she blinked back her tears. "You'd really hurt a kid just like your father hurt you?"
He was silent for a few moments, but then narrowed his eyes. "My father was right to hurt me. He showed me the truth. That to get somewhere in life, I have to work hard and push myself to what I want to be."
Her eyes briefly darted to Nick as he tried and failed once again to get up, and she couldn't help remembering what things had been like for him back when they first met. He hadn't been given an opportunity. Even after all this time, she still remembered what he had told her, how if the world was only going to see a fox as shifty and untrustworthy, then there was no point in trying to be anything else.
No one had ever given him a chance before, and so he had done his best with what he had, doing whatever was necessary to get by. Was the same not true for many homeless animals? Could they not change their lives for the better as well if given the chance, just as Nick did?
"Some homeless animals don't have that opportunity," she told Miles. "That's why we have to give it to them, not take away the one thing they have left, their life!"
If she thought her words might have an impact on him, she was wrong. If anything, they just seemed to make him angry again. "I want you to know something. The city is blind. They all think that they are actually providing a service if they help these animals. But they're not. They're making things worse for the animals that actually put some effort into their lives. Disgusts me really. Animals care more about these… these homeless than those who are actually trying to get somewhere in life. Animals need a little push to become what they've always… always aspired to be."
Her tears finally began to fall, mixing with the rain. There wasn't just anger in his voice anymore, there was pain. He might not even realize it, but he was talking about himself. How no one ever helped him while he was suffering at the hands of his father. While he was trying to make something of himself, he had to watch other animals help the homeless, who he didn't even think were trying to better themselves and were just mooching off other people's kindness, all the while he was left alone with no one to help him.
"Your past is fueling your hatred towards these homeless animals," she told him. "Miles… just let it go."
He just glared at her. "Easy for you to say. 'Let it go'." His face twisted with rage and pain. "You have no idea! You've been ruining everything! Everything! I worked so hard to be where I am, and no one ever cared! My friends didn't, not even my family. And you, you work for everything that you claim is love and peace and equality. Well, why couldn't I have had that equality? Hmm? I am just trying to right the wrongs that this city has committed for too long… I am not the bad guy here, Hopps."
Judy suddenly felt all the fight drain out of her. Listening to him, hearing what he had to say and how he viewed things, there really was no point talking to him. He was too far gone. After everything he had been through, it was just all too much for him to bear. Too much anger, too much hate, too much pain. Nothing she said or did would get through to him. In fact, this might very well be all he had left to live for. Just him and her in this moment. It was all he had left in the world.
"You're going to kill me," she said quietly, "aren't you?"
It wasn't so much as a question as it was a statement, and she already knew what his answer would be before he even said anything. And all she could do was accept her fate.
"Finally," he said several seconds later in an almost resigned sounding, "you're catching on."
She may have accepted that he was going to kill her, but she couldn't just bring herself to just lay down and die, even though she knew it was futile. "You can't do this. Please."
"The gears are already in motion, Miss Hopps," he told her, and he almost sounded… sorry. "It's over."
She saw it, she saw his finger start to move as he began to squeeze the trigger. All she could do was hang her head as she let her tears flow and waited for the inevitable. And as she waited for death, she found that what they said was true; when you realized you were about to die, you really did see your life flash before your eyes. It passed by in an instant, all the moments of her life, the good and the bad.
Amongst the onslaught of memories, she felt all the emotions that came with those moments, and she wasn't surprised to find that the happiest moments were those she spent with Nick. She really wished they'd had more time together, but at least they would be together in death. If there was one thing in her life that she could do over though, aside from preventing what would be her and Nick's deaths, it would be to not hold back on her feelings for him for so long, to have told him how she felt much sooner, and not let what others thought about them affect her. That was her only real regret in life.
A sob escaped her, but it wasn't completely sad. She wasn't happy that her life was ending, but it had been a good one while it lasted. She was so grateful for everything life had given her, and she was especially happy that she had been able to share her life with Nick, for as short as it had been.
But the bullet never came, and the sound of the gun going off was never heard either, just the sound of the rain coming down. And then, ever so quietly, she heard Miles speak. "No… wait…"
Slowly, barely daring to move, Judy raised her eyes to him again. Miles appeared to be frozen in place, except for the shaking hand that was holding the gun. But there was a look on his face that she had never seen before. He almost looked… afraid. No, not just afraid, but utterly heartbroken.
"Wait, I…" he said again, his voice cracking, and he suddenly sounded close to tears. "Judy… I have… to kill… Judy…"
He sounded so broken, almost as if he were a completely different person right now. It was like he was a lost, terrified child being forced to do something he didn't want to do. And there was a glazed, faraway look in his eyes He was looking at her, but he wasn't seeing her. And Judy suddenly got the distinct impression that what he was actually seeing right now was himself.
Did she, in fact, actually manage to reach whatever remained of that innocent little boy he had once been that had been dormant all this time? Was it that part of him that was reluctant to pull the trigger on her? Did he actually see himself needing to kill that scared child in order to kill her?
"No!" he snarled, sounding more like the angry, hate-filled Miles she had recently become familiar with again. "No! No! No! I will not be beaten like this!"
His voice continued to rise as the look in his eye kept changing from murderous and hateful to scared and lost. There was a war going on in his head right now, and it was causing him to break down. Had her triggering his past trauma earlier been the cause of this, or had her desperate plea for him to let go of the past been the source? Whatever the case, it was causing whatever walls he had erected inside of himself to come crashing down.
"I can…" he whimpered in a perfect mix of despair and hate, sounding on the verge of bursting into tears. "I can…"
He kept his hold on the gun, but it moved away from Judy as he began to curl in on himself. Judy's eyes moved to his left though as she witnessed Nick finally manage to get to his feet and take a step towards the broken rabbit.
"Miles," he grunted.
A look of surprise crossed Miles' face and he turned to Nick as if seeing him for the first time. The look on his face wasn't angry or hateful though, but desperate, pleading, as if he were begging for help. And as Nick took another step towards him, they became full of fear, as if he really were that little boy cowering before the violent wrath of his father.
That fear disappeared though to be replaced with shock as Nick wrapped his arms around him and pulled the rabbit in for a hug. His eyes grew even wider, as if he had no idea what was happening, as if he didn't actually know what a hug was, or even affection or compassion of any kind and was experiencing it for the first time in his life, and so didn't know what to do about it.
"I'm sorry…" Nick whispered to him, "for everything…"
Miles just stood there as Nick embraced him, not moving. But then his eyes filled with tears, and Judy saw all traces of Miles disappear, as if he truly had reverted back to that little boy. Sobs escaped him as he broke down completely, and he buried his face into Nick's shirt and began to weep.
Judy could only look on in amazement as she too wept. Not just for Nick and herself, but for Miles too, for what his father and his own hatred had twisted him into. How long had this side of himself been screaming in the darkness, desperate for a single kind word, for the smallest display of compassion, for someone to help him the way he needed it? In the end, beneath all his maliciousness, he had just been a scared little boy begging for help.
Several seconds of silence passed where the only sounds were those of the rain and Miles' tears. But then Nick slowly broke the hug and took a step back. "Hey…"
Miles didn't answer, he didn't so much as look at Nick as he stood there with that faraway look in his eyes once more as his tears continued to fall. Nick continued to hold his bleeding chest as a sorrowful look crossed his face before he pulled back his fist and slammed it into Miles' face. The mentally broken rabbit did so much as flinch as Nick's fist came at him, as if he wasn't even aware of where he was.
Nick panted heavily as Miles went down, and a few seconds later, his strength seemed to give out, and he collapsed beside the rabbit. Seeing him go down broke the spell Judy was under and she rushed to his side. Being as careful as she could, she turned him onto his back.
"Nick!" she practically wept.
His eyes blinked open and he gave her a forced smile. "Hey, Judy…" he muttered, his voice slurred. "That was intense, wasn't it?"
A relieved smile broke out across her face at the way he was able to crack a joke in light of what had happened, and she let out a small laugh. "Very."
While him being able to joke around was a good sign, she could see that his eyes were also glazed over; a sign that he was going into shock. He shifted slightly and tried to speak, but only managed to let out some incoherent babble.
"Don't try to move," she told him as she examined the gunshot wound in his chest.
She breathed a sigh of relief to see that the placement of the shot wasn't that bad. Not that gunshot wounds of any kind were good, but it could have been much worse. A little more to the side, and Miles could have done some pretty extensive damage.
"You look really cute today," he told her with a smile.
Another laugh escaped her, but this time it was one of pure joy. They'd done it, they'd solved the case, and they had both managed to come out of this alive, if a little worse for wear. It was finally over.
As stubborn as ever, Nick attempted to sit up, and Judy had no choice but to help him. A few minutes later, Lopez finally ended up making his way over to them, and behind him was a number of the TV reporters Miles had refused to allow entry into the shelter.
Upon seeing Nick, Judy, and the unconscious Miles, the cameraman for ZNN pointed his camera at them and immediately began filming. And Nick, ever the charmer, couldn't resist smiling at the camera and giving the viewers a thumbs up.
Those viewers included a number of animals all across Zootopia due to the recording being live, and they looked on the now twice-over hero cops. At this point, pretty much everyone in the city knew of the relationship between the two of them, the news having spread all throughout Zootopia ever since Miles had exposed them. And while a vast majority of them had once recoiled in disgust at such a taboo relationship, seeing the two of them now, and the love they clearly held for each other, a great many of them now looked on with new eyes, seeing them and their relationship in a new light.
Among them was Bogo, watching along with Clawhauser. And as he stared at two of the city's finest cops, realizing that they were right all along, he was filled with shame and regret. A deep sigh escaped him and he hung his head, and he began reexamining a great many of his decisions and viewpoints. And he had a feeling that there were many other animals throughout the city that were doing so as well.

"This hospital yogurt surprisingly tastes really good," said Nick jokingly as Judy hovered over his bedside, both of them wearing hospital gowns. Glancing at Judy, he gave her a playful smirk as she ate a spoonful of the yogurt he spoke of. "But you know, I'm actually in the mood for something a little more… carroty."
Judy giggled as she teasingly let the spoon slide past her lips. After having been thoroughly examined by the doctors and it being determined that none of their injuries were that serious, with the exception of Nick's gunshot wound, which, thankfully, they said he should make a full recovery from, they had been all but inseparable. Their flirtatious moment was interrupted, however, as Bogo entered the room.
Noticing the chief's presence, Nick gave him a somewhat irritable look. "Thank you for not knocking."
Bogo didn't seem bothered by his sarcasm though and merely nodded to each of them in greeting. "Hopps, Wilde."
Deciding to play nice, Nick nodded back at him. "Chief."
Crossing his arms, Bogo made a clear attempt to humble himself before them. "You two did a good job today. The homeless have been evacuated, and Miles Walker is on his way to prison." He closed his eyes for a moment, clearly swallowing his pride before giving them a sorrowful look. "And… I'm here to apologize. I messed up. I was being harsh on your relationship. And I was wrong to act the way I did. While you two have been incredibly infuriating in the past, I understand the good intentions. So… I'm offering the two of you your jobs back."
Both Nick and Judy were silent. They exchanged a look, and Judy could see in Nick's eyes that he would go along with whatever she decided. Her lifelong dream had always been to be a cop, and if she wanted her job back, then he would be right there by her side. They were partners after all, in more ways than one.
Looking away from Nick, Judy considered Bogo's offer. In the past, she would have immediately accepted his offer, but now, with everything that had happened, she was surprised at how different she felt about the things. While she still wasn't happy about the way Nick had been treated, it wasn't resentment that was affecting her decision. She did, in fact, accept Bogo's apology, but it wasn't his unfairness and mistreatment of them that was holding her back.
Coming to a decision, she gave the chief a grateful yet apologetic look. "No thank you, chief."
Bogo blinked in surprise, clearing not having expected her answer. "What? But, Hopps–"
"I realize now…" she continued, "that with the ZPD… I'm restricted. Alone, I can help whoever I can whenever I can." Standing up taller, she gave him a smile as she continued to speak from the heart. "Being an officer was the dream of a little girl from Bunnyborrow, sir. And… as I get older… my priorities change. M-My life changes."
She meant every word she said, but it was still hard, and her hands were clenched tightly at her side. She spoke the truth; being a cop had been her goal for so long, and she had actually achieved her dream. Giving that up wasn't easy, even if she found a new passion to replace it. What she had ultimately always wanted, was to help people, and she thought the best way to do that was to be a cop, but she didn't need to be one to help people; at the end of the day, a title was just a title.
But as hard as it was to say this, she still found herself smiling as she did so. "And now… I don't need this job to prove my worth. To prove… I can do it… So, thank you, but… the answer is no."
For the longest time, Bogo said nothing and simply stared at her. There was regret and sadness in his eyes, but Judy could also see respect and admiration in them too. And when he seemed to realize that she wasn't going to change her mind about this, he simply gave her a nod.
"Sure," he said quietly, "I understand. I'll see myself out."
With nothing more to say, he turned around and walked out of the room. Judy just watched him go, and once he was gone, she felt herself relax. Doing that hadn't been easy, but she knew deep in her heart that it had been the right decision. She had truly grown beyond what the ZPD could offer her, and the only thing resuming her old position would do would be to hold her back.
Behind her, she heard Nick climb out of bed and walk up to her. She glanced at him and saw that he was smiling at her with a look of pride on his face. "Hmm, quitting in style."
Her own smile became one of amusement. Before she could say anything in response though, they received yet another visitor, this one in the form of a badger they had both become familiar with by now.
"Officer Hopps," he greeted with a wave, not bothering to knock either as he stepped into the room.
Judy didn't mind though as she gave him a smile. "Blanston, how are you?"
The badger casually waltzed into the room as if they were old friends. "I'm doing fine, but now that this whole incident is over and my identity isn't compromised, I can finally get rid of this silly thing."
Judy had no idea what he was talking about, and from the look on Nick's face, neither did he. But then, to both of their astonishment, they looked on as Blanston reached up, grabbed his face, and pulled it off, revealing it to be nothing more than a mask. And beneath it was the face of a jackrabbit with silvery white fur and black stripes on his cheeks and ears.
"Savage," he said cheerfully. "Jack Savage. ZI6. It's a pleasure to meet you formerly."
Once she got over her shock, Judy gave him a smile. "It's nice to meet you."
"That's a convincing mask," Nick muttered, still sounding shocked by this revelation.
Jack nodded to them. "Well, both of you take care. I must be off. I have to go, I don't know, save the world or something like that."
With that, he turned around and began heading back the way he came with a departing wave. Judy was slightly taken aback by how quick his arrival and departure was, but she decided to take the fact that he had decided to stop by and reveal his true identity to them to be a sign of his gratitude and respect.
"Bye," she said, waving back at him.
"See you later, Jake," Nick called after him as well.
"Jack!" the ZI6 agent called back without so much as turning around.
Judy couldn't help but smile. She wasn't sure if Nick had really gotten the rabbit's name wrong on purpose or not, but knowing him, she wouldn't put it past him.
Alone once more, Nick glanced at her and gave her a smile. "Well, Carrots, let's get out of here."
She returned his smile with one of her own. Yes, it was time for them to head home. And once the doctors cleared them to leave, they walked hand-in-hand out of the hospital, not caring who saw them or what they thought of their relationship that they now proudly displayed.
In the hall, Lopez, Myrthil, and even Healy were waiting for them, the arctic fox having received his own treatment from the hospital and getting cleared to leave. Thanks to his assistance in helping the case be solved, he had been granted immunity for the part he played.
This brought a smile to Judy's face. Perhaps she and Nick weren't the only ones with a new path in life open to them. Sometimes, all one needed was for someone to extend their hand and show them another way. Who knew what that person could end up doing? They might even change the world.
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)
Life was full of different lessons; Judy knew that first hand. No matter how old you got, no matter what experiences you went through, there was always more to learn. She had learned a lot, about herself, about others, about life and the world as a whole. And if anyone were to ask Judy what she had learned in life, she knew exactly what she would say.
She would tell them that everyone is different. We look different, talk different, act different, but we all live in the same type of world, the same type of reality. When someone tries to go about that reality in a different way, people's attitude towards that someone can change.
But change is good. Change is what creates novelties and inspires the world to be better. Just because something is different doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed to be. Sometimes that difference is the start of something new. It takes time for people to see that, but time is all we really have. So let's not focus on the attitude of the people that don't accept your realities. Focus on the people that live that reality with you.
That was how she and Nick decided to live their lives from now on. They weren't going to let anyone else dictate their lives or how they decided to live them anymore. They'd thought they had been ready before, but they hadn't been prepared to face society's judgement. That was no longer the case though. Those few days that they had spent apart had taught them one thing, being apart was far worse than anything the world could threw at them.
But it seemed that things wouldn't be as hard as they thought it would be. After solving the case with Miles, who was now in jail and receiving psychiatric help, and after the entire city had seen them together on the news, the animals of the city were a lot more… open-minded and tolerant about their relationship.
That wasn't to say that they weren't still met with looks of disgust or animals who made it known that they thought that they're relationship was repulsive, but for the most part, most of the animals of the city chose to just leave them be and let them live their lives the way they saw fit. Mostly, those that still disapproved of their relation would just look the other way, while some made it no secret that they thought the two of them were disgusting, but for the most part, everyone decided that their relationship wasn't their business and would just let them be.
True to her word, Judy didn't go back to the ZPD, nor did Nick. They still remained friends with their former coworkers though, such Clawhauser, Lopez, and Myrthil, and they were even on friendly enough terms with Bogo for the most part, though they didn't exactly hang out with him after work.
And speaking of work, Nick and Judy did end up getting new jobs. In fact, they ended up going into business for themselves, the two of them starting their own investigation firm. Their reputations as hero cops who saved the city not once, but twice, really helped to get their business off the ground and gain them recognition, and that's how WildeHopps Investigative Services came to be.
Together, Nick and Judy ended up buying a fancy apartment and moved in together, one much bigger and nicer than either of their previous living arrangements, with their place of business being on the bottom floor and their actual home above it. Judy had been reduced to tears one day when they got home to find that Nick had secretly had their business name imprinted on the front door.
As for their home above it, they had settled in nicely, and were now living happily and comfortably together, free to live and love the way they wanted to. Today though, they had Judy's parents over for a late Mother's Day visit, and they showed them their home for the first time.
"This apartment is beautiful," Judy's mother told them as she placed the peach pie that she had promised to bring the next time they visited down on the table.
"Thanks, Mom," Judy replied happily.
"Why, thank you, Mrs. Hopps," Nick chimed in, soundly only slightly smug. "I was in charge of decorating it."
Her father smiled as he eyed the pie his wife had brought. "Now, Nick, it's time for you to taste the fantastic peach pie that Bonnie makes."
"Oh, please, Stu, it's not that great," her mother replied bashfully.
"Yes, it is," he said in a singsong voice. "Homemade and delicious!"
An amused smile spread across Judy's face as her mother leaned in and she heard her whisper in Nick's ear, "It's actually bought. Don't tell Stu."
She apparently wasn't quiet enough, as her father's eyes suddenly went wide and he gave her a look of disbelief. "Huh? Did you just tell him it's from the store?"
The amusement in Judy's smile soon gave way to one of deep happiness. She was so glad that her parents had accepted her and Nick's relationship. And not just them, but all her brothers and sisters. Well, she had yet to introduce him to all her siblings, but her parents had assured her that they had spoken to them, and her brothers and sisters were all very interested in the fact that she was dating a fox, some of them already asking when they were going to get married, even though it was still a little early for that. For all intents and purposes though, Nick was already considered to be one of the family.
There was still something that was nagging Judy in the back of her mind though. She was aware that Nick's mother was out there somewhere. And although he hadn't seen or heard from her in years, she was still alive as far as either of them knew. Judy wished that she could meet the woman one day, if to at least thank her for raising such a wonderful son, and even bringing him into the world in general so the two of them could meet and find happiness together.
"Are you telling me you've been getting this from the story after all these years?" her father continued as a knock suddenly came from the door.
Judy glanced at it curious. "Who is it?"
"If you have an appointment, it's on the first floor," Nick added. "This is our home, buddy."
Wondering who it could be, Judy got up from the table and made her way over to the door as her father continued to lament over the fact that her mother's pie wasn't actually homemade.
"Judy," Nick said, motioning for her to come back, "you don't have to go."
But she had already reached the door at that point. And upon opening it, she was greeted by the face of an older female fox that she didn't recognize. There was, however, something familiar about her, but she just couldn't put her finger on it.
"Officer Hopps?" the female fox asked, her kind eyes wide and hopeful.
"That's me," Judy replied, not bothering to correct her about her no longer being an officer anymore; there were several animals who still referred to her and Nick by their former titles out of respect.
The woman's smile grew wider, and Judy recognized something familiar about her smile too, but still couldn't place it. She didn't think so, but had she perhaps met her at some point in the past and simply forgotten?
"W-Who are you again?" she asked as she wracked her brain for who the woman might be; she really did feel as if she knew the woman from somewhere.
"Honey, tell them to buzz off," Nick called from the other room.
The woman's eyes darted in the direction of Nick's voice, and Judy saw what could only be described as parental love and pride fill them before her gaze returned to Judy and her smile grew wider still.
"Happy Mother's Day," she said warmly, but then her smile became more amused. "Or late Mother's Day."
Judy's eyes widened as realization hit her and she suddenly knew why the woman looked so familiar.
"Honey, who is it?" Nick called to her again.
Through her astonishment, Judy's mouth struggled to work, and when she found her voice, she only managed a quiet, "I…"
Something told her that this was one visitor that Nick definitely wanted to see, and it was going to be a reunion that going to be a whole lot better than her own mother's peach pie.
THE END
(A/N: Wow, it's over. It's actually over. I normally feel a sadness when I finish a story, but this one felt special. It was a real honor to adapt this story and express how much I enjoyed the fan-film. I can only hope that the actual sequel that Disney releases is half as good as the fan-film was. BTW, if you don't know who Jack Savage, he was the original planned protagonist for Zootopia before he was replaced by Judy; I love how they slipped his character in there like that. But I guess that this brings things to a close. For this story anyway. I'm already at work on another. And, surprise, it's going to be another adaption. As per requested by my grandmother, I'll be do a story that's a retelling of Lady And The Tramp, only featuring them as humans instead of dogs. That'll be interesting. Look for it in two weeks time if you want to check it out. In the meantime though, you can check out the final segment of the fan-film for this chapter and last. I also posted the link for the full video so you can watch it all together rather than in parts. Like always, replace the DOTs with actual periods, and don't forget to leave a final review. Peace out.)
