DLC episode

(Narration.)

"Pierce still hates narration for no reason. She also has yet to provide another way for the game to provide information to the players. Seriously, she hates foreshadowing, narration, exposition and literally every possible way for the games to give her information. If they don't give her information, she will complain about not knowing anything and not having any reason to care. If they do give it, she will complain about the way it is delivered, no matter what that may be. There is just no winning with her!" one sin added.

(Can't Phoenix just go back to lawyering because it's the only job he was remotely good at? Does he really need an unfinished business motive here?)

"The only one? So you forgot about how he went seven years as poker player without ever losing once? Sure, he had some help, but he could have gone on forever if he wished. He did state he would pass the torch on to the next generation. But he goes back into law because he feels partially responsible for causing the dark age of the law and wants to help bring it to an end by helping Edgeworth solve UR-1. So, yeah, he does have an unfinished business motive." One sin added.

(We interrupt your regularly scheduled murder mystery to bring you…seaworld? In an alternate universe where they actually give a shit about their animals? That's…actually kind of nice.)

"Pierce makes a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of this game cliché."

"She also uses the above cliché to justify the fact she is sinning something she likes cliché." One sin added.

(How did they get a mustache in Orla? And how does it remain attached to her body? I need answers to solve this case, goddammit it!)

"Not this one! And also...Pierce still fails at getting game logic." one sin added.

[(Apollo and Athena ignore Phoenix) Those two are a dick to their employer, which is not good business practice for someone who wishes to keep their job.]

"They haven't noticed he is there. They are busy watching TV and arguing about what to watch next. To ignore someone implies you are aware of their presence and pretend you are not. They really haven't noticed him, so again you prove you have no idea what a dictionary is." One sin added.

(Who gave Athena control of the remote? And why do these people keep a TV in their office? This ever answers the important questions.)

"Okay…many offices have TVs for the employees to either entertain themselves or keep up with news when there is no work to be done. And I'm pretty sure they are taking turns using the remote and Athena is abusing her turn, something anyone with siblings can understand. Now…did that affect the case or the game or anything? No? Really?! I thought for sure it would." one sin added.

[(Sasha shows up at the office.) Damn. And I thought Phoenix had spiky hair.]

"Considering that her hair is supposed to look like an urchin and the case take place in a waterpark…yeah, that makes sense." One sin added.

(You experienced space jokes in the last two games, now's time for some sea puns. Seriously, which writers thought these were in any way funny?)

"All of them. And so did all the players with a measurable sense of humor, Seldon Cooper." One sin added.

(I know I'm late to the party asking this, but why is murder the only crime these people ever take on? Are you telling me Larry's never needed Phoenix's help in evading sexual harassment suits or gone to trial for stalking? Are other crimes somehow not as funny in this world? Is murder more common than I think it is?)

"Considering one murder is being commited approximately every 30.5 seconds…yes, it is. Five people were probably being killed as you were writing this. And the fact you think sexual harassment cases are as exhilarating as murder cases…" one sin added.

(Why did Sasha come here if Phoenix hadn't been practicing for eight years? I know he just got his badge back, but this is lucky as fuck. What if he'd still been disbarred? Is there any other reason-other than plot convenience-Apollo's not the guy she was looking for?)

"Well, I would have to assume the infamous lawyer who changed the entire country's legal system and almost never lost a case, despite the system being pitted against defense attorneys, getting his badge back would be something reported on the news. So I's entirely possible Sasha heard about it and she would most likely want the best of the best to help her friend." One sin added.

"Also, you once again call something happening a plot convince…but you still haven't realized the case would not exist right now if this hadn't happened. Would you prefer it if the game just went on and on and nothing ever happened?" one sin added.

(What kind of aquarium in their right mind allows penguins to run free on the premises?)

"A fun one." One sin added.

(Fake Fulbright is the detective of this case. Playing the finale before this one has given me the sudden urge to strangle him, which is one more reason this option shouldn't exist.)

"You were warned. I believe the fact this case absolutely needs to be played between cases two and three, when it takes place, and not after the game is over was made clear enough pretty early on. We have chronological order for a reason." One sin added.

(The defendant of this case is an orca. No one who plays this game will be surprised by this, but it does merit one sin for being crazy as fuck.)

"Listen, this does seem crazy, but…I think it is actually important…and something that should be done in real life. Okay, hold on a minute. Hear me out for a moment. In the real world, if an animal is even suspected of killing a human, it's immediately put down. Is that fair? What if it was a set up or a mistake and the animal did nothing wrong? Does it deserve to die? No. That's why we have due process. If a human is suspected of killing another human, he is given a fair trial by a jury of their peers, evidence and testimony is not only presented, but it needs to be compelling to get a guilty verdict. And even after that, there are options like the appeal court. And even after that, they will probably receive a finite sentence and get out to rebuild their life after some time. Animals? Nah! Just kill them! If a human is willing to frame another human for murder and have them imprisoned or even executed, why would they hesitate to do the same to the animals if it means saving their own skin? The case should be scrutinized in the same way and, if the animal is found to be responsible for the person's death, they should be put down. But otherwise, they need to be allowed to live. Just like humans who were wrongly executed cannot be brought back, the same goes for animals. Why kill innocent creatures who may not have hurt anyone? This is one of the rare instances where the ace attorney universe is better than our own. And maybe this should be followed in the future." One sin added

(No one will let Phoenix forget about the parrot from the first game. Much like Leia and her bikini, it will haunt Phoenix and his character for the rest of thi franchise's lifespan.)

"Yes, it's true we cannot forget about the parrot. But…why would we want to? It's crazy yes, but it is the kind of crazy we love this series for. Really. To the people who will read this: why do you come to the ace attorney series? To see a realistic representation of the legal system? Or to have fun in a crazy, yet wholesome and exhilarating way? It's clearly the latter. The legal system in the real world is very problematic. And, while it provides hope for the future, just like the real world itself, it can get pretty dark and scary. And that's why we seek to forget about reality, even for a few hours, by immersing ourselves in this crazy legal, world, which still gets scary and dark, but we can count on the happy ending. That may never come in real life, so we need to relish it at least in the fictional world. The parrot thing was insane, but I don't know one person who doesn't burst into laughter when they see it." One sin added.

(Sasha thinks splashing Phoenix with a water cannon is an appropriate way to thank him for taking Orla's case. She is incorrect.)

"Again missing the obvious humor." One sin added.

[(Deplume calls Phoenix a blue boy.) Norma calls him this, despite Phoenix never once blowing his horn to the sheep in the meadows.]

"Pierce makes a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of the game cliché." One sin added.

(Well, whatever you are, I don't have the slightest interest.) Then why did you ask?]

"Has this girl seriously never met pretentious egotistical people before? They will not lose a chance to show you how lowly they think of you, even if they have to create it on their own." One sin added.

[(Deplume's floating scar.) Between this and the next two games, I'm starting to think one of Capcom artist's has a fetish for floating cloth. Calling the theory now.]

"I would actually spend time discrediting your ridiculous theory…but I have other people to do it for me. Theory debunkers…devour her flesh!" one sin added.

(Rapping.)

"Pierce points out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.

(Game implies relationship between Pearl Fey and Marlon Rimes. Between this and the magic panties, I think they are trying to put me on a watchlist of some kind.)

"Pearl is 17 and Rimes is 21. Sure, it may seem like a big deal, but there is no actual law against relationships between people in those ages. Unless they engaged in sexual activity and the case became statutory rape. But I don't think the game ever says anything about psychical contact." One sin added.

(More rapping.)

"More pointing out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.

(How deplume got into the aquarium.) Casual trespassing.]

"Pierce is still pointing out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.

(If Fulbright doesn't care Deplume told Phoenix what she saw, why was it ever a secret?)

"It was supposed to be a secret. But since the damage is done, there is nothing he can do about it. This is neither the DCAU nor the MCU. Can't exactly rewind time and there is no point crying over spilt milk." One sin added.

[(Blackquill considers taking the case.) Why do I get the feeling this was less about him seeing merit in the case and more about getting out of prison for a few hours to laugh at crazy lawyers? Because that is the only reason any sane person would entertain this bullshit.)

"I already explained why this is important. Skip!" one sin added.

"But also, let's assume all you said about Blackquill is true. No, really, it might be true. But even so…why is that a sin? Maybe he did want to get his mind off his death sentence with something so insane." One sin added.

(Athena stands on an obviously marked spot in the orca poll and is surfside when he orca responds.)

"She had just slipped and fell down. She just got up and is still dizzy. I don't think she has noticed." One sin added.

(Getting hit by a volleyball into creates.) She survives this. Unharmed.]

"Yes…because this is a videogame! You clearly have no idea how games work! This is fiction! It's meant to be fun, not boring like it would be if it was realistic! This is how all games are supposed to be! The rules of our reality neither can nor will nor should be applied here! So just suspend your disbelief…and shut…the fuck...up!" one sin added.

(Referencing Sharknado.)

"Says the girl that makes at least three pop culture references in every episode." one sin added.

(Swimming with an orca. I'll take it. Swimming down to the bottom of a 65 feet pool and staying down there long enough to collect all the coins with no gear on in one try? I'm sinning it.)

"Why does Pierce lie?! There are at least two lies here! First: How do you know Sasha was doing it without any gear on? Because she is not seen wearing it? She might have taken it off. She didn't just come out of the poll when we got back here. Two: you say she did it in one try…when she says she has already put 300 of them away, meaning she has done it more than once. And thirdly…if Sasha could do what you are suggesting the way you are suggesting, why would that be a sin? It would mean she is capable of it. What's the sin? That you don't like it? Who cares about whether you like it or not? I just proved you were lying twice in one breath so…guess how many sins you are getting. Exactly." ten sins added.

(No, Phoenix. Defending Orla was not your idea from the start. It was Sasha's. get it right.)

"It kind of was. Sure, Sasha brought the case to his attention, but Phoenix decided to take the case to court even though it seemed impossible to get a court to hear it. And he even insisted on going through with it despite detectives Fulbright's warnings." One sin added.

"And don't think I forgot about you yelling at the screen." One sin added

(Court begins.) Holy shit, they actually convinced a judge to preside over this case? How did they ever…you know what? Fuck it. I'll just sin.]

"Me too. If you can't appreciate the seriousness of an innocent animal being put to death for no reason other than error…I don't even want to deal with you anymore." One sin added.

(Phoenix comments on Athena's black circles.) Athena has no dark circles to speak of. She looks hot as ever.]

"Pierce thinks Athena wouldn't still look hot with black circles." One sin added.

[(The question is whether that soul is painted in black and white.) Or they could be Simon Blackquill and be painted both.]

"I imagine Pierce thought she was really clever for making this joke…but she was still stupid enough to count it as a sin of the game for reasons I cannot claim to understand." One sin added.

[(The great grief of the great thief.) Did Deplume write this book about MaskDemasque of the Yatagarasu? I can never be sure on this one.]

"Pierce makes two refences to different games that aren't a sin of this one cliché." two sins added.

(How does the hat stay on Orla's head underwater. Wouldn't it just float to the top?)

"Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236578." One sin added.

(Word mistress.)

"Pierce point out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.

(Incident from x years ago is related to today cliché. For the second time this game.)

"Are two times that excessive, though? I think the series has been making pretty good use of that cliché ever since the first game and is getting better as it goes on. Plus, this case is standalone, how would the events have started if not by an incident not seen up to this point?" one sin added

(Those people in the gallery are the stillest fucks imaginable. Was it really that hard to animate them occasionally moving? Or even slightly altered their appearance and seating arrangement in each case?)

"Considering that nobody pays attention to the gallery in any ace attorney case, aside from nitpicky assholes, yeah it would have been a waste of time. Game designers actually have a lot to do with their lives other than satisfy every request made by nitpicky assholes." One sin added.

(Even more rapping.)

"Even more pointing things out on the screen cliché." One sin added.

(Judge doesn't know what hip hop is even though it's been around since the 1970s and would have existed when he was growing up. Is he judge older than we think he is? I can't tell, because he hasn't fucking aged since the first game. Is thee ever going to be a case that ends in his retirement? Because that would be an awesome finale.)

"No, it wouldn't." one sin added.

(Please refrain from scattering fish on the witness stand.) But…why did he bring the fish to court? Did he have it sitting up in the gallery with him? Why are there no rules on what can and can't be brought into the courtroom?]

"Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236579." One sin added.

(Casually presenting hearsay as testimony. Also, Rimes gets away with it.)

"Hearsay has been shown to be acceptable in court as long as both sides are okay with it. When will you realize anything goes in court as long as both sides are in agreement?" one sin added.

(Torturing prisoners.)

"When prisoners are tortured or even die under "unspecified circumstances" in real life , nobody gives a damn or even really looks into it. But when they see it happening in a videogame. everyone suddenly gets a lot more interested. In other words, hypocrisy." One sin added.

(Updated autopsy report cliché.)

"How long has it been since Pierce called something that only happens in this series a cliché? Long enough, huh? Yeah, I also thought she was over that bullshit. Disappointed I am." one sin added.

(How is the height of the fall so specific from examining a body? Is that a thing in autopsy reports? I don't think that's a thing in autopsy reports.)

"Pierce acts like she knows anything about autopsy reports." One sin added.

(Game changes defendants halfway into the case, ala the cosmic turnabout and turnabout for tomorrow. If this case can be one episode, so can they.)

"Pierce already sinned the fact this case was made DLC due to the cosmic turnabout and turnabout for tomorrow being two cases at the very beginning of this episode. In other words…Pierce sins the same thing twice cliché." One sin added.

(Phoenix asks Apollo to clean the office, but when we come back it looks the same as before. Apollo is bad at his job.)

"You cannot say that. The office is always the same. That's not to say things don't change. And Apollo is very good at his job! Give the guy a break!" one sin added.

(The police hand suspect's medicine to their lawyer for delivery after seizing it from her home, because fuck people's right to privacy. And the fourth amendment.)

"Since you bring up the fourth amendment, that implies the police broke into her house without a warrant. And you have no confirmation of that. Pierce sins something she cannot know cliché." One sin added.

"Also, maybe Sasha asked them to bring it to her. After all, she needs to take it even in prison. So there goes the invasion of privacy charge. You just don't have a leg to stand on here." One sin added.

(Hickfield clinic is still open and serving patients. I hope they at least got rid of their fake doctor problem.)

"Why would the clinic be closed? Sure, they have a crazy guy running around pretending to be a doctor, but they seem pretty good at taking care of people." One sin added.

[(Dr. crab.) This guy's hair is a literal bird nest, but how does sniper not get tangled up there? She is moving completely freely.]

"Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236580." One sin added.

(If Deplume is still investigating the incident form a year ago, why has she already published a book on it? Is she a nonfiction writer or a reporter?)

"Maybe she published a book, thinking she knew the whole extent of the incident, but then realized there were more secrets and decided to do more digging and release an updated version. Writers and journalists are not that different actually." One sin added.

(Norma Deplume singing.) This needed a musical cutscene.]

(Athena singing.) What is this a musical? I know they have released three in Japan, but this is just rubbing it to our faces.]

"There are also musicals here in America. Check turnabout musical on YouTube." One sin added.

"Also, Pierce sins the same thing twice cliché." One sin added.

(Hasn't Deplume been coming to the aquarium frequently in the past year? How did she never learn about the songs being changed?)

"There is no guarantee the song would have been playing any of the times she came here. Sure, that does seem like a coincidence, but everything in life is a coincidence. I have been to the train station more than 100 times and yet I've never seen people jump at the rails even thought it happens a lot, unfortunately." One sin added.

(Why is there a map at the bottom of the orca pool. And why is it intact?)

"Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236581." One sin added.

(Pearl is eager to start forensicking.) Pearl is so happy to be looking for blood I almost mistook her for Ema. Which reminds me: Ema is not in this case.]

"Neither is Kay, Gumshoe, Edgeworth, Mia, Maya, agent Lang…are you going to sin the case for not bringing in every fan-favorite character in? This series has more fan-favorite characters than the personalities of the guy in Split! How can everyone be in one case at the same time? You know what happens when too many people are trying to share the screen? See Infinity war." one sin added.

(Dr. Crab has time to be sarcastic in medical emergency.)

"There is always time for sarcasm. And Phoenix was asking for it by asking such a silly question." One sin added.

(In order to operate the switch to move the hoist, you have to move Phoenix to the opposite end of the poll from said switch. Seems logical.)

"You can't see the switch from there to press it. Phoenix can just walk over there to press it, but you need to change your viewpoint. You still don't get some things need to be done for the benefit of the audience." One sin added.

(Checking the vomit of the orca is in no way graphic.)

"Pierce seriously just asked for this to happen. What the shit?!" Ten sins added.

(Medicine capsule did not slightly dissolve n Orla's stomach after hours of digestion.)

"That's because she was given a ton of them. You didn't really think one sleeping pill could knock out a whale, did you? She was given many of them and this is the only one that hadn't dissolved by that point. There were many more before it." One sin added.

("But with orcas and dolphins, there can be communication of the heart.") Just orcas and dolphins, though. No other animals. Damn, Athena is specist…]

"She's what?"

(Athena is specist…)

"What the fuck does that even mean?" one sin added.

(Game thinks allowing a seventeen year old who doesn't work for the aquarium to feed an orca will be automatically accepted and lead to no problems whatsoever. Game is right and that is a sin.)

"So you are sinning realism now, Ms. everything-has-to be-realistic-in-games?" one sin added.

(Blackquill asks Phoenix if he's really only in it for the money. This would have been an interesting question of character in another context, but shoving it here makes it feel as if it was cut from somewhere ese and just sticks out at odd.)

"Does it? Phoenix just proved Orla innocent of the murder…and now that Sasha is accused of the crime instead, Phoenix also takes her case. Sure, he has good reasons, but that is clear only to us because we know Phoenix too well after so many games and can read his thoughts. You apparently don't realize the characters in the game don't have the near-omniscient point of view the players do. If you look at it from the viewpoint of an outsider, like Blackquill, Phoenix's actions do kind of make him feel like an opportunist." One sin added.

(Game spends entirely too much time talking about awkward prints that aren't really that awkward in the first place.)

"The fingerprints are from a right hand, yet are on the left side of the ladder. That would be impossible for a person climbing upwards. It would be pretty difficult to leave fingerprints like that in any way. Sure, it does make sense when we figure it out, but there is no way Phoenix thought of that." One sin added.

(Athena is entirely too excited to play the part of the sea slug. And now I'm having flashbacks to the disaster that was my elementary school play. Thanks, Athena.)

"Honest question: was any of that a sin? This is one of those instances where Pierce feels like complaining about something and finds a way to slip it into an argument and sin the game for it." One sin added.

"Also, Pierce yells at the screen cliché." One sin added.

(Phoenix compares Dr. Crab and Rifle's fight to divorce court. Is he implying what I think he's implying?)

"No! He is being humorous, not disgusting! Gah! Sin on you for making me think about this!" one sin added.

(Dr Carb asks the girl in a weird outfit to help him and both Pearl and Athena seem to know which one of them he was referring to.)

"It doesn't take much thinking. In fact, I won't even say it here. Readers: who do you think this line was referring to?" one sin added.

(Dr. Carb acts like Azura's ex-boyfriend despite not being Azura's ex-boyfriend. Because we really needed a red herring for this reveal to be a surprised later.)

"Yes…we did. Red herrings are one of the oldest tricks in the book. Are you really sinning their use? You know what? You might as well sin mystery fiction for even existing. Sin mystery stories for being written, sin writers for doing their job, sin the pages for allowing words to be written on them!" one sin added.

(Hidden illegal; activity form lawyers only warrants two psyche-locks.)

"Why would it need more? It's not even that illegal. It just involves the aquarium's monitoring system. It's not like it's a crime or a terrible dirty secret! It's something he doesn't like talking about to some random guys he met a few hours ago." one sin added.

(Between TORDEDO and PONCO, someone is entirely too fond of their supposedly clever antonyms.)

"Yes, they are clever. They are great names and I don't wanna hear one word about that!" one sin added.

(Phoenix presents evidence to Dr. Crab while he is having a serious conversation on the phone. Phoenix is a dick to Dr. Crab.)

"Since Dr. Crab takes the time to look at the evidence and talk about it, the conversation can't be that important." One sin added.

(How would one sleeping pill knock out a full grown whale?)

"Oh, you did really think one sleeping pill could knock out a whale. It didn't. She was given a bunch of them. Apollo says a large quantity of them was ordered from the hospital. This one is just the only one not dissolved yet. So…a pile of them can knock out a whale." One sin added.

[(In court.) Blackquill objects to the belittling of birds. I see he's trying to compete with Victor Kudo for the title of ace attorney's resident birdman.]

"Pierce makes a reference to a different game that isn't a sin of this one cliché." One sin added.

(Fully grown man admits to taking baths instead of showers.)

"So you are sinning the fact men also need to relax and get rid of tiredness and stress via a soothing bath now? Are only women entitled to that? That sounds sexist." One sin added.

(Scene of inmate slipping and sliding on the bathroom tiles was not included…)

"Skip!" one sin added.

(Blackquill is way too excited to see Phoenix wield his sword. That beats my fanfiction.)

"She has made that one joke so many goddamn times! And we are still no closer to getting why that is in any way a sin of this or any other game than we were the first time she did it. I don't think Pierce knows either. She just like saying it. So we are back to me much better idea: separate joke counter." One sin added.

(Yeah, kick that witness stand. It really deserves it.)

"Sinning this animation." One sin added.

"Also, Pierce yells at the screen cliché." One sin added.

(Marlon Rimes doesn't rap this testimony, which means it's bullshit.)

"Says the girl that has sinned Rimes' rapping three times already. I guess she ran out of ideas on what to sin and decided to speak out of both sides of her mouth again. So...guess how many sins you are getting for this bullshit. Exactly." Three sins added.

(Phoenix spends any time at thinking whether or not he will bluff about something.)

"You know, people do that sometimes. They bother thinking things through and gathering their thoughts before opening their gape holes and letting all kinds of stupid things float their way out of there. I happen to know a girl who does that. You don't know her." One sin added.

(Judge gets upset at Rimes for committing perjury in this universe. Did he forget that's not a crime in this world? All I'm saying is, I've never seen any punished for it.)

"No. But everyone gets a stern talking-to from the judge. Yeah, that's a slap on the wrist more than anything, but it's definitely not the first time the judge gets mad about this." One sin added.

(Even Blackquill doesn't understand why casually lying witnesses are allowed to remain on the stand.)

"Well, Phoenix exposing the witness' testimony is lies is only strengthening his own case against Sasha, since it makes it look like the orca couldn't have done it. You fail to realize Blackquill is an expert at manipulating people. He never believed Marlon' testimony. The only reason he allowed him to testify at all was to consolidate his own case." One sin added

(It isn't something I claim to understand, but you and Azura Summers were lovers, weren't you? Sin for that not being in the game.)

"And how exactly would that line make sense in this context? It makes sense of it being said about Redd White and Marvin Grossberg, but here the relationship was between a man and a woman of roughly the same age. Why would Phoenix not understand that, especially since he has also been in love before? You know, the developers are not like you. They bother thinking if their jokes make any damn sense." one sin added.

(Rimes' transformation.) That's not possible, unless Rimes is the Hulk and Capcom forgot to tell me.]

"Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236582." One sin added.

"Also, sinning this transformation." Five sins added.

(How did he get that huge fish inside court?)

"Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236583." One sin added.

[(Marlon starts eating the fish.) Sushi.]

"Pierce points out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.

(Rifle ex Machina.)

"You know, until I read this, I hadn't realized you went this entire fanfic without once uttering that phrase. That was very good on your part…and you ruined it at the very end. Clearly you still don't know what that phrase actually means and you just keep using it. Disappointed I am." One sin added.

(Cross-examining an orca. I mean, they could just get Dory. She speaks whale.)

"Pierce makes a pop culture reference…" one sin added.

(What are the odds of two orca trainers in a row at the same aquarium had the exact same heart condition. Astronomical, you say?)

"Yet it happened. The fact something is very improbable, doesn't make it impossible. It is very improbable that you will win the lottery, but a lot of people do. It's very improbable that you will get struck by lightning, but a lot of people do. It's very improbable you will bump into a famous person, but a lot of people do." One sin added.

(Orla's testimony. I pity the stenographer who got assigned to this trial.)

"Sinning this. Again, this series gets a bit crazy from time to time, but we love it for this. And this testimony actually helped prove how the orca was being manipulated, so it was very useful." One sin added.

(I demand serious witness testimony.) Sorry Blackquill, but…you know you're in a DLC case, right? If it wasn't considered good enough for the main game even though it could fit, there is probably a reason why.)

"Pierce yells at the screen cliché." One sin added.

(Orla's singing sounds nothing like the Swashbuckler spectacular song. That mammal is tone deaf.)

"You think it's possible for whales to sing at the same frequency as humans? Pierce doesn't know shit about biology." One sin added.

(Phoenix Wright refuses to sing in this case, but in Sprit of justice, episode one he's a full member of the musical cast.)

"No, he's not. He's in fact the only person in the court to not sing. The witness the prosecutor and even the judge are going at it, but Phoenix never does." One sin added.

(Moral of the story: always make your medical history known to your boyfriend and place of employment before training an orca. Or, if you have a heart condition, don't go into the trainer business or you'll die and come close to causing the death of two animals. Did I get that right?)

"Yes, congratulations. You have managed to keep up with the entirety of the case's backstory. I am so proud of you. Really, your concentration sills are getting better. Now...if only you could actually bother to explain why that is a sin of this case…Azura is shown as a flawed character. She made mistakes, she paid for them and her keeping her heart condition a secret led to a tragedy. But that's what set this entire case into motion. Are you sinning the fact the game found a way to develop a plot? Because if so, that's bullshit." one sin added

(Phoenix has had that fish in his pocket for two days. He must reek at this point. And his dry cleaners hate him.)

"Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236584." One sin added.

(Ending narration.)

"She said after having narrating an entire fanfic 15 pages long." One sin added.

(Deplume has a new book out advocating for the aquarium in just a few months after the case? Someone writes fast.)

"Yes maybe she is a fast writer. What's wrong with that?" one sin added..

(Rifle has not aged a day in the few moths since the case ended.)

"And one more for good measure: Pierce failing at game logic fail n. 236585." One sin added.

Total sin tally: 119

Sentence: splashed with a water cannon.
