Wednesday morning at school. The guys walk into the classroom and wait with everyone else for Miss Collins to come in*
"So what happened next was in my lovely dream about you something amazing appeared in the sky," Logan says to his beloved girlfriend
"What was in the sky?" Camille asks smiling big
"The award for the Coolest Girl In The World fell out of the sky and landed on a large podium and with its power it solved all the problems of the world being fueled by your positivity," Logan says
"Wow, that's cool," Camille says
"More like super lame!" Jett says listening to their entire conversation
The two brunettes look at him and frown*
"We didn't ask for your opinion, Jett. Why don't you focus on yourself? It's what you're best at." Logan says sighing and hoping Miss Collins comes in soon
"You're way more fun to mess with nerdling," Jett says
"Don't call him that," Camille says
"Stay out of this you low-life actress." Jett says "You should learn to keep your mouth shut. Might improve the ugliness of your face and that shrill voice is just unbearable" He continues as he watches tears swell up in her eyes
"Alright, that's ENOUGH!" Logan says angrily slamming his hand hard on his desk and shocking everyone into silence
"You can tease me all you want! I can handle that! What I won't tolerate is you insulting Cami! You say things without any remorse and aren't held accountable enough to the consequences of your actions! You arrogant, spineless, heartless jerk! Just shut up already! No one and I mean absolutely no one likes you! Not in this classroom or the entire Palm Woods. Your attitude is just infuriating!"
"Yeah well, you're short!" Jett says with a weak comeback
"I've been alive for 16 years just like you. I think I would know that already you lousy annoying bully!" Logan says
"What is going on in here? I'm late for 10 minutes and a fight is happening?" Miss Collins says walking into the classroom not having a clue who started the fight
"He verbally attacked me and should be punished." Jett very boldly lies
"Wow, you are a coward," Katie says shaking her head in disappointment
"Shut up you brat!" Jett yells
"Don't talk to my sister that way!" Kendall says going into protective older brother mode
"All of you just calm down right now. Camille, are you OK? You look sad. Was Jett being mean to you?" Miss Collins says
"He did say some very hurtful things to me," Camille replies
"Ok, Jett it seems like you're losing this battle and are the bad guy. You're notorious for putting a bad vibe in the classroom and pretty much anywhere else you can do it. So I'm going to give you one chance to be completely honest with me. Did Logan start the argument between you and him?" Miss Collins says
"Yeah, he sure did," Jett says continuing to lie
"You do know lying to me will involve punishment right?" Miss Collins says folding her arms with a raised eyebrow
"It's the truth." Jett insists
"Ok well, I've made my decision. Afterschool detention." Miss Collins says
"Ha! I won! You lost!" Jett says pointing to Logan who just gives him a weird look
"No, you lost Jett. You're the one getting afterschool detention. You don't have a reputation for being very kind or thoughtful. Logan is extremely nice to everyone in here but you're not. I know you started the argument. I know you lied that you didn't just to save your inflated ego. So here's what's gonna happen for the rest of the month you're gonna focus on being nicer and kinder. That'll help you make a friend" Miss Collins says
"Whatever," Jett says rudely rolling his eyes
When it's time for lunch the class goes to Palm Woods Park to eat*
"You ok Cami?" Jo says
"Yeah but why are you friends with that jerk?" Camille says"
"He didn't start that way. He used to be nice but Hollywood fame poisoned his mind and now he thinks the whole world evolves around him." Jo says
"Too bad you gotta work with him as part of your job," Camille says
"It's not that bad," Jo says biting into her sandwich "He's needed on the show. He brings the views and popularity. That's what our director likes."
"If Witches of Rowdale Drive and New Town High ever do a crossover I'm calling in sick," Camille says
"I think it would be so cool if you and I were co-stars," Jo says
"I feel the same way but how he treats me will get his neck broken. Especially after today." Camille says
"You want one of the guys to roughen him up?" Jo says
"No, I don't want them to get in trouble," Camille says
"That's very thoughtful," Jo says
After lunch time is over they all return to the classroom and then resume decorating when school ends.*
"You ok from earlier?" Logan asks his girlfriend
"Yeah. I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Camille replies
"I can't help it. I know you can take care of yourself but it helps to have backup." Logan says
"Thanks. What you did today. Standing up to Jett like that was cool. Not many kids at the Palm Woods have the guts to be that confident in front of him." Camille says
"I've been getting bullied since I was six. I've had years of experience, unfortunately." Logan says
"I think you're very brave," Camille says
"You guys gonna kiss?" James says as he munches on chips like he's watching teen romantic drama series
"Why kind of weird question is that?" Logan says uncomfortably
"Feels like I'm watching the Notebook," James says
"My dad loves that movie for some odd reason," Camille says
"I'm gonna go focus back on decorating. I'm gonna hang up some ghosts and goblins on the walls." Logan says walking away
After 2 hours the guys go to the community center to continue decorating for the party*
"I've got an idea. We can go out in a group costume. It'll be so much fun!" Carlos says excitedly
"Dude we don't need to do that. We're mature teenagers now. Trick or Treating is for children. Dressing up is too." James says rummaging through a box for more art supplies
"But we always go out and have the best time. I just know this Halloween will be the best one ever. My Papi is coming to celebrate with us. He promised." Carlos says
"That's great that he's coming and you guys can celebrate together. Just the two of you." Kendall says as he measures a wall to hang up spooky streamers
"I can't do it without my amigos," Carlos says
"He's never gonna let this go unless we agree to do it with him," Logan says
"I know. We'll figure something out." Kendall says
"This better be a good plan. Or Halloween won't be so fun for us." James says
They all leave at sunset*
In Apartment 2J*
Kendall is in the shower, Logan is playing online solitaire and James is watching TV but notices a package on the counter and looks at the name to see who it belongs to*
"Carlos there's a package that was delivered for you," James says
"I hope it's what I think it is! "Carlos says excitedly opening the box"
"What are you expecting it to be?" James asks"
"This," Carlos says holding up the item
"A yo-yo?" James says confused
"Not just any yo-yo. A spooky one" Carlos says "Check it out" He yanks it up and down for it to light up and make a spine-chilling scream*
"Awesome! Logan can't even hear us. He's got his noise-canceling headphones on. I've got an idea. When Kendall comes out to sit on the couch and watch Jeopardy with him let's scare them with that creepy sound from the yo-yo "James says smiling mischievously"
"Good idea amigo but what if we make it even scarier by turning out the lights and waiting until they fall asleep on the couch? Sometimes they do that." Carlos says
"I love that!" James says fists bumping him
After 30 minutes Logan and Kendall are on the couch watching whatever is on the pitch dark slowly nodding off*
"3,2,1 go! "Carlos whispers to his roommate
James Yanks it real hard*
"Ahhhh! What's happening?!" Kendall says shooting straight up from his deep slumber and looking around
"Who's there?! What's going on?!" Logan says wide-eyed and panicking
James and Carlos fall on the floor laughing uncontrollably*
"Sometimes I don't like you guys," Kendall says extremely irritated
"I nearly peed myself," Logan says walking to the bathroom
After that, they all go to sleep in their beds*
