Saturday morning the guys get up and fix breakfast*
"It's a lovely beautiful morning," Logan says putting bacon in the pan on the stove, bread in the toaster on the counter, and orange juice in four cups on the table
"What do you want to do today?" Carlos asks while watching Spongebob on the couch with James
"We can go to the beach and hang out with Andy and Steven," Kendall says reading a hockey magazine
Has anyone seen Katie? I didn't see her come out of her room. Do you think she's feeling sick?
"Um…I don't know," Logan says then looks up and sees her silently laughing on the swirly slide deck
But you should be able to find her if you stand exactly right there *points in front of the slide*
"What's that supposed to mean?", "The tall blonde says confused and impatient
He screams when his precious little sister comes down the slide landing on top of him, and hears other boys laughing uncontrollably the whole time*

stands up and looks irritated at the brown-eyed little girl he adores so much and starts to smile while he playfully twirls her around enjoying her happy squeals*
"Is everything okay in here?" Ms. Knight says running in concerned
"Yes," Kendall reassures his mother
"Can I come to the beach too?" Katie asks
"Sure thing just eat your breakfast first then get dressed," Kendall answers
They all eat, take showers, get dressed, and leave*
(At a local dog-friendly beach called Huntington Dog Beach)
The group sees the two young brothers excitedly running up to them and hugging them
"Hi little dudes," Kendall says
"We're so excited about playing with you today!" Andy says jumping up and down
"We make sandcastles now, please?" Steven asks grabbing his shovel and bucket
"Sure, does Tyson like the water?" Logan asks while rubbing the young German Shepherd's head
"He likes swimming in it but he makes bathtime an exhausting Olympic event," Andy replies
"Why? Did he have traumatic experiences as a puppy?" Carlos asks curious if it's true
"Not as a young puppy but last month we bathed him in the tub and Hannah practically boiled him alive turning the faucet on the hottest temperature of water because she couldn't wait ten minutes to reapply her couture she could look like a glistening goddess. Whatever the heck that's supposed to mean," Andy responds rolling his eyes at the memory
"Wow, that's insane," James says freaked out by the story
"Why was she involved in his bathing session if she doesn't like him?" Kendall asks confused
"Our dad told her because she intentionally let him out in the rain that day it was her responsibility to help Steven and me clean him up," Andy answers
"Wow, she just never learns her lesson," Logan says shaking his head in bewilderment
"True but enough about her. Time to make an awesome sandcastle." Andy says
They all sit down and start on the structure of the base*
"I'm hungry. Can I go buy a snack?" Katie asks
"This is a dog beach. There isn't any human food." Kendall responses
"There is a boardwalk near the second parking lot," Andy says
"Great we can do it there later. Thanks for the information little dude." Logan says
After 30 minutes it starts getting hot*
"Wow, it's scorching right now. Even most of the dogs and their owners have left." James says observing the now almost vacant beach
"The sand is starting to feel like fire," Carlos says wincing in pain as he rubs his feet
"Sandcastle looks very good Andy," Steven says clapping his hands
"It sure does buddy," Andy replies happily
"We go now?" Steven asks
"Yeah, you're sweating a lot," Andy responds while looking at his older brother's red face
"Can I smash the sand castle? That's always fun to do." Carlos says
"Sure," Andy answers
"Watch this. Hulk Smash!,"The young Latino says as he imitates his favorite Avenger
"You're hilarious Carlos!," Andy laughs
You'r a Marvel fan?
"Yeah. The Incredible Hulk is my favorite. That's why I was pretending to be him." Carlos divulges
"That's awesome. I like Captain America. Stevie tell him who you like." Andy says
"Spiderman!,"The pre-teen responded excitedly
"Awesome," James says fist bumping him
After they all pack up everything they brought with them they go all the way down to the boardwalk*
(On the boardwalk there are several restaurants to choose from)
"What do you want to eat Katie?" Kendall asks his little sister
"Pizza, please." She answers back
"Ok. You guys go find what you want to eat while I buy her food. Then we'll meet back here by the tables. Sound good?" The tall says after explaining the plan
They all nod and walk off to buy their food. When they're all done they find a table to eat at*
"Wow, these are good burgers and fries," Carlos says as he grabs the salt
"Andy, did you get anything for Tyson?" Logan asks concerned about his rapid panting
"Yeah, Steven and I got him a bowl of iced water," Andy answers to the brunette
The young dog excitedly laps up his drink in seconds*
"Wow, he sure was thirsty," Katie says watching him pant happily and lie down
After they all finish eating they go home*
Sunday morning it's way too hot to go outside and the air conditioning in the Palm Woods is malfunctioning from being overheated*
"Oh my gosh, the temperature today is in the triple digits," Logan says sitting on the couch listening to the weather report
"That's the constant downside of living in California. The sun can bake us alive in seconds if we go outside." Kendall says from the kitchen pouring himself some orange juice
"Video game marathon!" Carlos suddenly says running into the room and jumping over the back of the couch to sit on it
"I'm in," James says happily joining him
"You guys have fun with that. I'm going to go do something more productive like a crossword puzzle." Logan says standing up and going to the table
"I'm going to read some hockey magazines," Kendall says sitting across from him
When the day ends they all go to bed after eating dinner*
