Monday morning in the classroom. Jett is surprisingly quiet as everyone chats among themselves*
"Did you have another dream about me?" Camille asks
"Not exactly. You were in it but you were turned into a Pegasus and then you glitched into another dimension." Logan replies shrugging his shoulders and laughing
"Wow that's really funny." Camille says
Miss Collins walks in and class starts*
(Later during lunchtime at Palm Woods Park)
"He's been quiet all day. He's planning something isn't he?" Kendall says giving Jett a distrustful look
"He's not evil Kenny. He's just really annoying. What could he possibly be planning?" Logan asks
"I don't know. Something really bad." Kendall replies
That scumbag has no heart
After lunch the class goes back inside*
(At the community center)
"You sure you want to operate the mechanical spider, Kenny?" Logan asks
These instructions look very complicated
"I'll be fine. I want to do this." Kendall replies
What's the first step?
"To make this a very spooky experience make sure all the parts are together," Logan says reading instructions
Step 1: Insert the medium screw into the hole in the upper right corner. Connect wire A to wire B and crossover the black cord to the center of the device
"Um..ok. What? "Kendall responds confused
"I knew this would happen. You're already struggling." Logan says
"I'll get it. Keep going." Kendall says
After 2 hours he finally finishes and turns it on*
"Whoa, it works. You did it!" Logan says
"We did it. You helped me even when I was struggling you didn't give up on me. Thanks, dude "Kendall says giving him a bro hug
"You're welcome. This place is starting to look so awesome." Logan says
(They all return to the Palm Woods)
Jett is late again for tutoring*
"You're an hour late. You don't need to waste Logan's time." James says
"James I've got this go do something else," Logan says to his tall buddy
"You can't trust him. He's unbearable," James says
"Go do something else," Logan says insistingly
James reluctantly walks away*
"Must be nice to have a bodyguard that lives with you," Jett says
"He's not my bodyguard. He just doesn't like you." Logan says
Why were you an hour late this time?
"I had a meeting with my stylist," Jett replies
"That can wait. Your education is more important right now." Logan scolds
I told you the terms of tutoring were for you to not be late and you've been late twice. Do it again and the deal is off
"You're seriously going to do that to me?" Jett asks
"Yes. I don't owe you this. I'm just helping you out of the kindness of my heart. An organ you're practically missing." Logan says
"Fine, I'll do better," Jett says
"I'll be the judge of that," Logan says
They get started and Jett leaves after 2 hours*
Tuesday afternoon the guys go to a local basketball court to get some exercise*
"Hey, my gym buddies are over there. They're the ones who told me about this place." James says waving over to them
This is Cameron, Harrison, and Joshua
"Nice to meet you. We've heard nothing about you." Kendall says looking at the tall brunette for an explanation
"I didn't tell you guys about them because I wanted you to officially meet. Sorry if that's so wrong." James replies
"It's fine. You did a good thing." Logan says
"Hey guys! Did you start the game yet?" Andy says running up to them with Steven and Tyson
"Who are these kids James? You didn't tell us they were coming."Cameron says
"That's Andy and Steven. They're our friends and two nice fans of our music." James answers
I wasn't sure if they would come. They had to do some chores first
"Logan invited us. He told us to come when we finished our chores." Andy says
Hi, I'm Andy. This is my older brother Steven and his service dog Tyson
"Why does he need a service dog?" Harrison asks
"He's autistic," Andy answers
"He doesn't look autistic," Joshua says
"What's that supposed to mean?" Andy frowns
Do you have something against kids with special needs?
"No," Joshua says
"Good because autism isn't a visible disability," Andy says
Logan are we going to have a problem here?
"I hope not. James talk to your friends." Logan says
"OK. Cameron, Harrison, and Joshua, I want you to treat Andy and Steven with kindness and respect. They're good kids. Tyson is a very sweet dog." James says
"We have no problem with them being here," Cameron says
"Good," James says
Steven signs to Andy* "Help me tie my shoes, please"
"Ok, buddy," Andy says and kneels to the ground to do it
"Was that sign language?" Harrison asks
"Yeah," Andy replies
"Steven we are going to start the game now. Do you understand?" Joshua says loudly
Steven covers his ears and looks at his brother uncomfortably*
Tyson growls at the older teen*
"Why the heck did you yell at him for?" Andy says angrily
"You were using sign language," Joshua says defensively
"He's not deaf! Sign language can be used by anyone hearing or not! Even if he was deaf yelling at him wouldn't help. He doesn't like loud noises "Andy says
We're going. Come on Stevie
"Don't go guys. He didn't know." Kendall says
"That's no excuse! He should've asked! "Andy says now fuming and comforting his brother
"You're right amigo," Carlos says
"Everyone just calm down," Kendall says
Joshua, you should've asked if Steven can hear very well."
"I'm sorry," Joshua says sincerely
"You sound like you're being genuine. We'll stay." Andy says
"Why did you help Steven tie his shoes?" Can he not bend down to tie them himself?" Harrison asks
"He can do it but he has a hard time manipulating the strings. His autism has caused him to have some delays with his fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. So he sees an occupational therapist about 3 times a week." Andy answers
"Wow. So he can talk right?" Cameron says
"Yes, he's semi-verbal," Andy says
"Interesting," Cameron says
"Do you two know how to play basketball?" Harrison asks
"No, but we would rather be here than be at home with our mean sister and her psychotic dog. Good thing my cat is safe in my room." Andy says
"What's your sister's name?" Harrison asks
"Hannah. She's 16 and thinks she owns us. Her dog is a chihuahua named Princess and my cat's name is Angel." Andy says
"Wow, she sounds like a pain to live with," Cameron says
"She is," Andy says
They all start the game have a lot of fun and go home when the sun sets*
