Epilogue: Next Time
Castle Doom, Doomstadt. Earth.
"Report. What is the status of Project X Zone?" Masters of Evil Leader, Doctor Doom, asked upon entering a laboratory featuring a cutting-edge device harnessing a multidimensional energy source, under surveillance by several Doombots and Orbot the abandoned robot lackey.
"Hello, Lord Doom. Testing of the prototype device has gone smoothly. It was successful in separating particles and then fusing them together to create this hybrid equipment." Orbot replied, handing his current master a gold coin born from the energies of merging dimensions. "The only downside is that we can't yet predict the final outcome…Fortunately, nothing catastrophic has been produced…yet." He expressed.
"Good. Get to work on the Convergium Reactor. Our ultimate plan requires a union beyond this result." Doom claimed, throwing aside the gold like it was trash.
"This would be less stress-inducing if Doctor Eggman was still with us. He is the expert in Genesis Wave technology." Orbot sighed, implying this ultimate plan requires a grand power to rewrite reality.
"We will cross that road when Doom deems it right. We have time." Doom replied stoically.
"Uh, Boss? Miss Salem isn't looking too good." expressed by the dimwitted Cubot, pointing at the present-day corrupted Salem sitting down and looking to be suffering a headache.

"Leave us and get her medicine!" Doom sternly ordered the lackey bots, striking fear that scares them into leaving the sorcerers alone. "What is wrong, my dear?" He asked her gently, expressing an unusual kindness that he shows to no one else in the Masters of Evil besides Salem.
"Simply a headache. Nothing to worry about." Salem assured him, being just as kind to him.
"An immortal like yourself do not get headaches. You must have been affected by the recent temporal distortions that afflicted New York City. The security system at my Embassy there report that this is the work of Eggman and Octavius. They will suffer for this treachery." Doom then politely helps the witch up on her feet, asking, "Shall I escort you to your room?"
"No thank you, Victor. I can take care of myself." Salem insisted.
"Regardless, get some rest. That is an order. I will oversee this project." Doom ordered.
Salem nods in compliant as she heads toward the door looking healthy. At least externally. What her leader said is the truth. Because of the Time Eater's rampage on history, her memories have been altered. She suddenly remembers everything her past self went through in White Space, from fighting G.U.N. robots to battling The Hound. Most importantly, she remembers befriending Team SSSS. The only other people in her eternal life besides Ozma that she was truly happy with. Enough to make her briefly stop in her track to express a genuine regretful expression, muttering, "Forgive me.", before leaving both the lab and the friendship she made in her other life.

BGM-Mega Man Zero OST-The Ruins of Lab (Remastered)
"Another dimensional crisis averted. They just keep getting worse and worse. History itself was in danger this time." Mobius's G.U.N. Commander, Abraham Tower, said during a holo-conference with his dimensional military counterparts about the recent Time Eater incident.
"This is just the calm before the storm. We still don't know anything about this Ultimate Evil that Ingrid woman warned us about. I've been preparing my men just in case of a surprise attack." said James Ironwood, Atlesian General from Remnant.
"Don't get too paranoid, Ironwood. We need to keep our wits about if we're to survive what's coming." Nick Fury, Earth's Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., warned his ally while being the host of this meeting.
"Anything else we should share before we end today's meeting?" Ironwood conversed.
"Just one. The identity of the Ultimate Evil." Fury claimed, surprising his dimensional allies.
"What? How?" Tower retorted.
"Was tipped off by an Intergalactic Mystic." Fury said vaguely. The SHIELD Director projects to his allies the image of the inevitable nightmare. An alien titan that oozes death even as a hologram. "He calls himself Thanos. The Mad Titan. The most powerful alien conqueror in this corner of the multiverse. Earth had some close calls with him." He briefed them on this ultimate threat.
"Your world's equivalent to Black Doom." The stern Tower noted.
"Only he's been busy destroying countless other dimensions while keeping a low profile. I imagine it won't stay that way when he comes for our Stones." Fury informed them of Thanos's conquest of the multiverse.
"You think he's in possession of the last Exo Stone? The Star Stone?" Ironwood questioned.
"Unconfirmed, but yeah." Fury replied.
"What do you think he'll do if he gets all eight?" Ironwood asked, despite having a good guess on what Thanos wants.
"Same plan as usual: Transform the cosmos itself into an abattoir." Fury glared, expressing just how catastrophic this Multiversal War might end up.
Grimly, Tower shakes his head with a sigh, "Sounds like a real terror one world alone won't be able to compete. Good thing we have a countermeasure on standby when he makes planetfall."
"Almost time to activate THAT initiative, huh?" Ironwood remarks about a secret military program that only these three multiversal commanders know about. "Should we inform the heroes about this?" He asked the SHIELD Director.
"They already know something big is coming. It being Thanos is irrelevant. Just gotta deal with the Masters of Evil before the end. Rest assured. When the time comes, all our worlds will be on S.T.R.I.K.E.!" Fury declared, confident that their soon-to-be-active multiversal alliance will be enough to counter the multiversal threat that is Thanos.

White Space.
"Are you sure you saw a door over here?" questioned Eggman, exhausted and annoyed that he is lost in White Space after his plan with the Time Eater failed miserably.
"What?! YOU were the one who said you saw a door over here." retorted Classic Eggman, just as miffed as they are trying to find an exit out of this colorless void.
"Well, I know it was one of us. Shut up and keep looking." Modern Eggman snapped.
The Eggmen then engage in a heated argument, which is sounding very irritating to the Octopus Doctors struggling to craft a dimensional teleporter using their tentacle technology. Otto growls, "Would you two imbeciles keep it down?! We are trying to-!", until the Ocks accidently fried their only ticket home. "CONCENTRATE!" He shouted angrily at his future counterpart.
"Sorry." Patel apologized sheepishly.
Later, all four doctors are laying on the ground near each other. All of them so bored out of their minds that it causes Classic to casually ask them, "What time is it?"
"It's the exact same time when you asked earlier and it will be the exact same time when you ask later. THERE IS NO TIME HERE!" Modern snapped in anger.
"Let me just say that this was a brilliant plan that you came up with." Classic remarked sarcastically.
"Don't get too self-righteous. It'll be your plan pretty soon." Modern expressed.
"I'm going to dedicate the rest of my life to forgetting it." Classic muttered, breaking the fourth wall in the process.
"I heard that." Modern retorted.
"I'm still living the dream. Any advice you want to give to your future successor in how to defeat Spider-Man?" Patel asked her most favorite idol with a smile.
"Don't be such a fangirl. I never beaten him." Otto sassed.
"Any designs I should improve on?"
"I don't know…Form a Sinister Seven?"
"I'll keep that in mind. I'm shockin' sick of alliances right now…"
"Do we ever win?" Classic asked upon standing up.
"That depends on your definition of 'win'." Modern sassed whilst standing up himself.
"Beating Sonic." Classic elaborated.
"Oh, well…There are times when we come close! Very, very close indeed!" Modern expressed, trying to dodge the embarrassing question.
"That's a 'no' in his language." Otto stoically teased him.
"Shut up!"
"That doesn't give me much hope." Classic sighed, facepalming in disappointment of his future.
"History sucks." Patel admitted plainly.
"No kidding." Classic agreed with her. "Maybe I'll go back and get my teaching degree." He contemplated.
"That's not a bad idea. I've always enjoyed telling people what to do." Modern approves with a smile that is brushed off by his allies that absolutely hate themselves for getting themselves stuck in this empty hell.
