Oliver was alone, waiting for a package. It was still Valentine's Day. The doorbell rang as he got up and answered the door.
It was Cynthia. She had grown up a bit.
"Hey." She says to Oliver. Oliver smiled as he saw the design.
"I love this!" Oliver says.
Cynthia smiled. "So about Elemental Strike…David says they're not heroes and one member attacked you for trying to celebrate your sixteenth birthday." She says.
"A member of the band can tell you about all of that better than I can." Oliver says.
The next day, Oliver and Cynthia met up with Beau and Lisa at The Pancake Cabin for breakfast and discussions.
"Beau, this is Cynthia." Oliver says.
"I'm Beau Yates. Nice to meet you." Beau says to Cynthia.
"Nice to meet you as well. Oliver says you have information on your bandmates that I can get from you." Cynthia says.
"That is correct." Beau says.
"So what can you tell me?" Cynthia asked.
"We had an interview the other day." Beau says
"You mean today?" Cynthia asked.
"No, I'm talking about a past one, but yeah, I do have another one coming up. We get way too many interviews, like at least 3 a week." Beau says and explains.
Cynthia thinks "My friends and I know a thing or two about them. Wait, didn't we go on some adventure together meeting movie villains?" She asked.
"Yeah, true, good times!" Beau says.
"So tell me, what happened at this interview?" Cynthia asked.
Beau explains.
"I'm off." Cynthia says.
A few days later, Lucy sighed, getting ready for the interview; she didn't want to hurt Luke's feelings.
"Hurry up!" Cuphead says as Lucy nods.
She thinks of Lynn's birthday a bit as they arrive.
"So, Elemental Strike, how are you today?" The interviewer asked
"Awesome, we're all two weeks away from the finals." Luke says
"Sigh, our album is coming out and-" Lucy says.
"Yeah, our album is going to come out before the finals!" Luke says excited, accidentally interrupting Lucy, who felt ignored and just decided to keep quiet.
Beau just glared at him the entire time.
"I'd like to apologize for what I said in the last interview." Chalice says. "It was wrong to compare Luke to you, even if he gets mad at you for winning." Chalice says.
Beau had nothing to say at this point.
"What if you were on a different person's YouTube channel?" The interviewer asked as she wore glasses.
"Oh, we would be the main stars. We're that popular. I mean, watch this." Cuphead Says tossing a ball out the window as it lands in a garbage truck.
"I have a poem!" Lucy screamed. Beau's glare was enough to shut Luke and Chalice up long enough for her to read it.
After she did that, the interview continued.
"Do you confess that you guys kick Beau under the bus?" She asked
"Nah." Cuphead says.
"I recall the time where he tried to talk about his time in the band and how he joined it, and you interrupted his first solo interview for your own group's gain." The interviewer says.
"Okay, Beau was never really supposed to be in the group at all. Really, I gave him a chance because Oliver had issues and Lucy was, well, Lucy. She didn't want many roles." Mugman says
"The only reason Beau's still in this show is because-" Luke started to say, but Beau finally snapped. Just then, Emma jumped in.
"Hello, guys, welcome to another episode of our channel. Today the Adventure Kids and cosmic buddies are doing a collaboration." Emma says.
"A video called Exposing Luke, payback style." Cynthia says, having been the interviewer.
"And looks like this final 5 may lose a 5th team like Luke always wanted." Alem tuber says
"Ironically it's him going home." Alex says
"Maybe we should run…" Angry Luigi says as the Cosmic buddies and Adventure Kids split up and run as Luke shot streams of flames out of anger. Delta used Chaos Control, freezing time and kicking Luke.
Luke falls down.
"Did we get that on camera? That kick was awesome!" Delta says.
"Yeah!" Bill says.
"Okay, Elemental Strike, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you're gonna get!" Alem tuber says as he and Cuphead begin fighting as thier siblings watched
"What a ding dong…" Chalice and Emma says.
Beau stormed out to see Lisa looking worried.
"They said I'm nothing! They say Luke's fame was what got me so far!" Beau sobbed. "That isn't true at all! The fans love me and Beatrix! Luke had nothing to do with that! But it still hurts that they think I'm nothing!" Beau sobbed harder. Lisa was livid and called Charity, Skylia, and Jancey.
The minute all three of the mothers arrived, the activity in the room stopped. The fight was on hold as the mothers gave the entire group death glares.
"Beau, honey, are you all right?" Jancey asked as she embraced her sobbing son.
Skylia magically lifted Randy and Brandy and dragged them home.
"Luke, we are going home. Right this minute!" Charity shouted.
"And I have a few chores for two boys who chose fame over their friends!" Kettle says sternly, having just arrived.
"Wait, Mugman did nothing wrong." Lucy says
"Well, Cuphead will have twice as many chores!" Kettle says.
"I'm an adult." Cuphead says.
"Let's go!" Kettle says, dragging Cuphead away by the handle.
"You are in a lot of trouble!" Charity screamed at Luke. And for the first time, Luke knew he was royally screwed.
"Can this day get worse?" Alem tuber asked as a net hit Skylia and her kids.
"You and your big mouth!" Cynthia says as the Golden Shooter, for some reason, was after Kali, who tossed the crystal to Cynthia.
"Me and my big mouth!" Cynthia said as she caught the crystal.
"That was a nice poem, Lucy." Lincoln says as Edwin looks down.
"Thanks." Lucy says. She knew Cuphead was getting what he deserved.
With Beau, he clung to Lisa as Jancey was rubbing his back soothingly.
"Sweetheart, you are a wonderful and very talented performer. Luke was being very unkind to you." Jancey says. "What those bandmates of yours did to you was completely out of line."
Beau sniffed.
Cynthia rushed off as she leaped, dodging a missile and tossed the crystal to Ann. "Ann, catch!" Cynthia says as Ann catches it.
"Savannah, catch!" She says, tossing it
"Delta, keep away!" Savannah says and tosses it to Delta, who smirks and speeds off as she leaves a white trail. The Golden shooter flew off, leaving a golden trail.
They speed around the whole planet 6 times as the Golden shooter blasted a pyramid.
"Ya missed!" Delta says as they begin teleporting everywhere.
The Golden Shooter tricked her into going underwater and was going to grab the crystal, but Emila flew through a portal and blasted him and flew into a second portal, holding the crystal and tossed it. Angry Luigi got free and caught it. The Golden Shooter aimed for him.
Jason leaped and tried punching the Golden Shooter, who flew off as Oliver landed.
"Oliver! Not now!" Alem tuber says as he and Angry Luigi rush off. Chrissy and Alem tuber try attacking from different sides, but he teleports behind Oliver and aims at him. Emila used a spell to save Oliver.
"Looks like I saved your life, rival." Emila says.
Lisa used a device, hacking into the Golden Shooter as it fell down.
With Luke, Charity lectured him for 3 hours straight. And not to mention this was on the news as several news stations were capturing this.
Luke felt ashamed and embarrassed. He can't believe he hurt Beau like this. His best kindergarten friend and really good friend.
Everyone in the state watched this. Gemma and April couldn't believe what was going on.
They wondered if he should even be in the finals show. They questioned his morals and how he treated Beau.
"Thanks for the help!" Kali says.
"No problem. It was some team up, getting back at Elemental Strike." Bill says.
"So, Jason, what are you going to do now?" Angry Luigi says. .
Jason crossed his arms.
"My half-birthday…" Luke sniffed. "You'll forget about it!"
"No, we won't." Lynn says.
"But you need to be nicer. What you did to Beau and Lucy wasn't nice." Luna says. "Bands have to share spotlights with every member. And interrupting them when they do something like a solo interview or whatever, well, it's very uncool."
Luke sniffed. "Luke hates sharing spotlights." He says, wanting his day.
"You have to learn to share when it comes to the band, Luke. You can't always take center stage." Luna then explains this in a way that Luke could understand.
Luke feels ashamed. But he understands everything Luna just told him.
He goes off to apologize.
He arrives. Beau looks at him.
"I'm sorry. I was wrong about all the bad things I said about you. I should have been kinder to you instead of thinking of myself." Luke says to Beau. "I promise to do better and make you feel valued in the band. What I said was way out of line and I shouldn't have said it to start with."
Beau thinks. "Water under the bridge. Just don't let it happen anymore." He says.
