Redemption

LOCATION: UNDERNEATH FREDDY FAZBEARS PIZZA PLACE

TIME: UNKNOWN (X, XX, 202X)

The Labyrinth, the place where this story ends. Fire burned brightly throughout the halls as the suffering of the past melted away, tormented souls being be put to rest. But for one a long past eternal torment awaited them, and while in the past he defied the odds and lived on, with the final swing of an axe that last chance was snuffed as the amallgmation of what was once a man now a monster was in pieces unable to move and finally consumed by the fire.

And the culprit? None other than the volunteer himself, the one who set out to right his wrongs, and went through suffering to save everyone. Micheal Afton.

The eldest of the Afton children and the unlikely hero of this story, had finally done it. He looked down at the torn apart body of Willain Afton, a killer and nothing more. Not to him. He managed to find everyone that had been harmed and trapped by this infernal place, and set them all free thanks to the help of his uncle Henry. He personally saw to it that during his final battle that they were able to make it to heaven despite their cries for him to follow, he was going to see this through to the end, plus even after everything did he really deserve to move on?

To go to heaven?

Micheal: "Guess I'll see whenever I burn."

He heads to his office, he walks through a wall of fire not at all minding it as it clinged to his body, it's the end after all. He stumbled into his office seeing the broken Helpy sitting ontop of his keyboard, looks like he was waiting for him. He felt bad for the little bot, he was his only companion while her was here and remained diligent even as everything burned down around it, he walked over to the computer taking Helpy into his purple hands and sat down in his office chair, the fire now spreading further covering more of his body and filling up the room around him.

"So many years, and it's done. Elizabeth… Henry… Mother… Charlie….." He get's flashbacks to better times, when they were all alive, and happy. But there was one… "Evan."

Memories rush to his head. He remembered he helped him in his first steps, the times the three were together, the one time they helped throw a surprise party for Charlie. But it all changed after Liz's death, instead of supporting his little brother he blamed him for their sister's death and tormented him for years, then that damned prank. After that he set out to make things right. And on this mission to do so he learned of his fath- NO, William's actions, how he had went crazy and began killing in the hopes of attaining immortality. So he found out how he would make things right, to save and free everyone, and send his father down to hell.

"The Hero"

Heh, he certainly didn't feel like one. Multiple pizzeria's, a horror attraction, and many other locations where he went face to face to horrors and the victims of Willaim's insanity, most of which were children. And it didn't help thet he grew up to look similar to him, which made him target number one for anything possessed, but at least they are all going to a better place, something even now he didn't think he deserved.

"If any of you can hear me I got a few things to say. Y'all deserve it. Henry, I just wanna say thank you I can only imagine what you have been through for all of these years, but now you and Charlie can finally be together again." He says, his life begins flashing before his eyes, everything that had happened up to this point playing infront of him like a slideshow, reconciling with his old friends, the new ones he made, all of the people alive and dead that he had managed to help. "To everyone that I had helped moved on, I hope you all was able to find some peace up there, and you guys please actually move on, don't remain here. He's gone for real this time."

He thinks of the first few kids, the first ones besides Charlie to had been killed starting this nightmare. They were the first he was actually able to contact and speak with, it was thanks to them he was able to almost take down the Purple Guy back at the Attraction. Guess all it took was a bit more time and force. Finally his mind turned to his brother and sister, Evan and Elizabeth, his mouth open to speak but he hesitated.

What could he say?

"Elizabeth, Evan. I hope right now that y'all are listening. After everything that has happened and what you both have gone through you all can finally find mom again. And while I said I could never say it, I'm sorry to the both of you. And I love you both. Goodbye."

And with that his speech ends looking forward towards the screen of the computer, and too his surprise blackened tears fell out of his eyes. He chuckled.

"I'm able to do that? I'll allow it."

And with that he lays back in his chair the fire fully engulfing his vision, he closes his eyes and awaits his fate. But instead of the slow death he expected, he found himself.. Floating? He opened his eyes and he found himself in an white void, did it really take that little fire to kill him?

Gold: "No, you are not dead yet, at least not completely." Micheal turns to the voice to see a golden humanoid standing there arms crossed. Despite the situation he almost felt safe in a way, was they- "And no I'm no an angel, I dont got the wings."

Micheal: "That's true, to ask who or what are you and why am I here?"

Gold: "Because you have been chosen to save another universe."

Micheal stared for a few seconds, that sounded absolutely absurd, not the whole other universe part. But HE was chosen? Why would he be chosen?

Gold: "I got an answer for that, because of who you are Micheal Afton. For years you suffered mentally, emotionally, and physically all to make up for an accident you made when you was a kid. And it was through all that suffering you saved so many people, and while not all could be saved from the hands of death you were able to help them pass on to something better. You are someone who's willing to go through hell and back to do the right thing, if you ask me that makes you a hero."

His eyes widened at this, that was just a role, one he took up in order to do something good with his life. But being told straight up gave him a realization, what he did actually meant something, even if the story ends he still had an effect on peopled. Well, maybe it wasn't all bullshit.

Micheal: "Huh, alright then. But why should I agree to this, I could be considered one sure but I've been through a lot. I would say it would be better to try and pass on, why go to another universe and save it?"

Gold: "I got something for you. A second chance. You're life here has been filled with tragedy, your early years taken away because of your mistakes and you "died" as soon as you became a young adult. And while you made some good memories yes, you most of your time has been spent getting rid of Afton, if you take this offer you can get a new life in this world. Start over, make new memories, and perhaps you can finally learn to finally forgive yourself."

Micheal looks down in thought crossing his arms. It's almost sad that he couldn't disagree with this thing, he had devoted most if not all of his time hunting down Afton and destroying all of his work, freeing the souls and saving the living. But at least there was some moments, such as reconciling with his old friends, spending time with people he saved, even the times where the missing children had came to thank him. And while it only happened a few minutes ago he'd say the fire from earlier was a good memory, after all that's when he finally won. But now he was being offered a second chance, to try at a new life in a different universe at the cost of doing something that saves it…..

Well, no where else to go but up right?

Micheal would do his best at a smile and look at Gold with a nod.

Micheal: "Alright I accept. But not sure how I'm supposed to save an entire universe.

Gold: "I'm going to be sending you there a year before you must begin your task so you can get used to how things work there. Whenever the plot begins you will be sent a message and some things to get you started. Now get ready I'm gonna send you now, and I gotta be getting the other chosen."

Micheal: "Others? I'm not the only one?"

Gold: "You're not going to be alone this time Micheal, good luck."

And with that they would bring up their hand and a purple pillar of energy and light would surround him. As he gets ready something appears in his hands and when he looked he choked, it was pictures. Pictures of his friends, his family, and the missing children. On the first photo there they were, Evan, Elizabeth, his Mother, Henry, and Charlie. All in Heaven, together and happy. More tears began to roll down his face in pure relief and happiness, and holds the pictures close.

Micheal: "Thank you."

And with that he disappeared, the first Chosen has been sent. Gold would let out a sympathetic sigh, and if they could they would smile.

Gold: "You're welcome."

And teleports themselves, heading to get the next chosen.

LOCATION: THE HAZBIN HOTEL, PRIDE RING OF HELL

TIME: 8:00, X, XX, XXXX

The Hazbin Hotel. Formerly named the Happy Hotel, was the passion project of the Princess of Hell. It was ironic really, the daughter of the devil wishing to do good in hell by attempting to reform sinners and get them to ascend to heaven, just thinking about it drew the dark distorted chuckle of one man. The Radio Demon, Alastor. At the moment he was looking down at some of the others who was lounging about, Charlie and Vaggie were discussing something in the middle of the lobby while Husky seemed to be sleeping at the bar, as usual. There other two, Angel Dust and Nifty, were probably off somewhere in the hotel, the former most likely in his room with that pig. And the other perhaps continuing their obsessive cleaning of the hotel. Well guess it is good as time as any to begin his radio show.

He would move on and walk down a hallway, the faint sound of a radios buzz complimenting his humming.

Alastor: 'No let's see I shall do my usual broadcast with the addition of advertising the hotel, afterwards we shall be planning our stage performances, I can't wait to try out my devilish my puns and jokes.'

He thinks as his smile widens with joy. He would reach his room opening it up revealing that he had transformed the room into a stylized suite with an in built radio station where the windows and balcony should be, something he can easily work with. He sits down at the radio station and with the snap of his fingers everything began to get calibrated and ready for his first transmission of the day, outside the window a screen showed a recording of his little deed from the other day. The complete destruction of Sirpentious's airship at the hands of the "Radio Demon", he looked on with a sadistic look, irritated that this was recorded and was also being shown off on a screen, he's a bit surprised that it was being shown considered his rival Vox rules the screens.

No matter, he had a show to put on.

He would tap on the mic and open his mouth to speak. But stops, for a split second he felt something.

A presence, a very powerful presence.

He quickly stands up and bring up his mic, his power rising warping reality around him preparing to kill who or what was with him. But instead of turning to see his room he was suddenly in a pure white void, nothing for as far as he could see in every direction. Was he killed? No he wouldn't still have his senses, this is very different from the first time.

Gold: "I suggest you don't try that, Alastor."

The demon turned around to face the voice, only to see Gold, the glowing gold humanoid looked up at him on guard, Alastor could feel as if they was glaring at him even though it had no eyes. What was this?

"I cannot believe that they chose you of all people, but even then considered goal of this story it only makes sense." Gold mutters. "You have been chosen to save another universe."

The man stared, his mind wrapped around the idea. He had be chosen? HIM? He began to laugh, even in this place reality began to warp as his dark staticy laughter creeped into Gold's ear, if they hadn't remembered that they were practically a multiversal being they would have actually felt fear, well more than what they were currently feeling being in the vicinity of Alastor. As for the man he was finished laughing as shade came over his face.

Alastor: "Well that has to be the greatest joke I've heard in DECADES, you are no demon I can tell that already and you give off no heavenly aura. So tell me." He says as he starts using his magic, symbols began to fly around him and shadow began to dominate his side of the void, Gold stood their simply giving off no reaction, even if they were slightly freaking out inside. "Who has chosen me for such a task?"

Gold would recompose themselves before speaking.

Gold: "I cannot say the name of the one who had chosen you but know that this being is one beyond your own existence, and one despite everything has some care for you." This caused Alastor to slightly shift, now looking slightly confused. "Whatever look just know that you have been chosen to be a hero for another uni."

Alastor would bring a finger to his chin thinking, a being beyond his own existence that would still have some care for him? To him no such being exist, perhaps it was God, but he couldn't really believe that, after all why would he choose a sinner to save others. No this was something else.

Alastor: "Of that is the case. Why? Why have I been chosen, and why should I accept this?"

Gold: 'I wonder if this will be the same for the other two?' They think, though considering one of the chosen he's not one for asking too many questions. "I don't know why you specifically was chosen perhaps they saw something that I and yourself don't know about." Corny. "As for why you should accept, think of this as a second chance at life."

Now that made the Showman's smile falter, now becoming a small toothy smile that threatened to become a frown. A second chance at life, another chance to live as a living person and go through the same trails and tribulations of being alive. Charlie wanted to give sinners a second chance by reforming them and sending them to heaven, but here he was being offered a second chance and being brought back to life, if only she was here now. But what reason should he go through all go that again, he lived a relatively short life back on Earth living a life of struggling which lead him down his current path, in this new world he must somehow save it. It was laughable.

"Wouldn't you want to have a chance to live a better life?"

Alastor is pulled out of his thought as he looked back towards Gold, who seemed to have gotten closer.

"You grew up in a halfway happy home, were forced to become a cannibal or face starvation, and let's not forget you deciding to get involved with voodoo and the demonic. What if you could a new life where none of that happened, a clean slate for you to start over and live a possibly better life?"

Alastor: "You are really trying to sell this aren't you?"

He says raising an eyebrow, his smile widening.

Gold: *groan* "Well you wanted an explanation. Plus you're going to get sent there I might as well make sure you actually realize why you're going and don't try and repeat the same mistakes. We need a hero, not a pitiful killer." Alastor would smile bigger at this. "Anyways I'm going to be sending you a year before your task begins, that way you can get acquainted with your new life and get to know how that world operates beforehand. We can't have you going in blind, when it's time a message will be sent to you along with some items to get you started.

That's when a pillar of red light would surround Alastor, he looks around a bit surprised as all of his power seemingly shut off as his shadows returned to him, this should prove to be the greatest entertainment yet. However he heard one last thing from Gold.

"At least try to think about what I said Alastor, for your mother."

And before he could react he would disappear, the red light leaving. The second Chosen had been sent, Gold would let out a breath almost as if they had been holding it.

"At least the next two should be easier."

They say beginning to leave, but as they do they feel another presence, a slender shape with a large hat covered in shade starting at them with narrowed eyes. Gold knew full and well who this was, it was time to leave. Without saying a word they disappeared, leaving the figure to stare off into this realm, before scoffing and waving their hand, a flame began to burn brightly as the void destroyed itself being burned into nothing and collapsing, as the void shattered the figure turned and disappeared returning to their home.

And so ends the first chapter of the REWRITE! Took me long enough lmao, not going to go too deep into it but hey at least I got the chapter made, even if it's only on mobile. Hope y'all enjoy the rewrite and I will probably be working on the next chapter sometime soon.
