A Knives/Vash poem written for a Dreamwidth challenge

Meryl and Milly are reporters for No Man's Land Broadcasting. In fact, they've been promoted to get their own segment to work on. Outlaw Insider. Their new job, tracking down the world's most wanted men to ask them a few simple questions. Vash's new job-Keeping them alive without them finding him out...Or maybe finding out how capable the girls really are.

Legato has the power to change anyone's fate and he chooses the man who changed his.

Of all the cruel fates the world has to offer, why must it saddle Legato with Vash the Stampede?

Legato stares up with unrestrained wonder as Knives offers a piece of himself as sustenance. [Warning: consensual cannibalism]

Knives has always loved his brother and has never truly listened to him- and that's where tragedy blooms.

"I know, I know… just… ugh! I hate this. I hate all of this. People shouldn't… we should be better than this…" They should. Wolfwood knew they weren't. He'd known since the day he'd left the orphanage. He knew that everyone had something they would sacrifice if the price was right… a promise, a moral, a life… And yet… and yet, he thought, not him.

It had been a while. How many years? Not too many, I guess. I hadn't changed much. He, of course, hadn't changed in the slightest. Except, maybe . . . for something in his eyes. (Takes place before/around/during TRIGUN STAMPEDE. I'm leaving it marked as uncompleted, because, although it could be a one-shot, I had initially planned on writing more, and I still hope to do so.)

After the incident in July, he has vowed vengeance against the so called "Humanoid Typhoon" for the death of his family. The only problem is, no one actually knows what 'The Humanoid Typhoon' looks like or even his real name. Will that stop The Bombshell from getting his vengeance?

Forgiving and trusting each other again proved more challenging than Vash or Knives expected. The complexities in life didn't simply disappear just because a holiday was being celebrated, especially when those complications were a result of Knives' devastating choices.
