Hello guys ! So recently i had this idea ! This story is based on James and lily potter coming back to life when harry is about to start his 5th year at hogwarts . Pls read and review ! Enjoy !
The sky was pale , the sun was setting down . People in godric hallow were happily chatting to their families and helping their kids pack their trunk for tomorrow . By the sudden flash of light two unconscious bodies seem to have appeared in the demolished house .
James groaned as he slightly moves , very part of him ached . His muscles were very sore . He thought he was in bed , but then why would the bed be so hard ? He slightly opened his eyes, he gasped .
He saw his once beautiful living room crumbled in pieces . The he realised , voldemort….lily…harry!
He quickly stood up but then collapsed with a thud on the ground .He groaned very loudly .
" James ?"
"Lily ?" Cried James
" lily !" Shouted James , he stood up this time he did not collapse .
He made his way towards the nursery room , he had one look at it and realised something bad happened . The whole mercer's room was demolished . Lily sat in the middle , her face in her hands .
" lily' he launched himself on her and hugged her tightly. ``What happened , where's Harry ?"
" oh James' she gasped for breath " oh James , he's gone . He's not here , voldemort he-he"
"Ok lily calm down a bit " soothed James
" calm down' shrieked lily " our son is missing James and he is only 1 years old !"
She started clawing at her face . James made an attempt to stop her.
" Lily ! Stop it you are hurting yourselves" said James removing her hands from her face .
" lily you've got to listen to me , we shouldn't Panic ourselves . If harry is gone there might be a chance he is with Sirius ."
"Chance - a chance' shrieked lily tears pouring down her face " James we need to go find him"
" DUMBLEDORE" gasped James " Lily Harry might be with Dumbledore , our house looks demolished, surely he would have sent someone to collect harry ?"
" yes Dumbledore lets go to him" mumbled lily standing up
James gestured to her to come downstairs , since their muscles were still very sore James suggested lily to sit down for a bit . Lily gave her answer by a little scream of dismay.
The fireplace was located in the kitchen , they both entered the kitchen and choked . Their kitchen was in bits ! The cabinets were destroyed the floor was broken and the fireplace looked as if it was about to crumble any moment .
"This isn't safe , look at the fireplace" exclaimed James
" Let's go !' Breathed lily
" Lily, didn't you hear what I just said ? The fireplace looks like it is about to fall at any moment . We don't even know if it works the same now"
" i don't care James , i need to get to Harry" shouted lily
James saw no way of making her change her mind , he didn't want lily to get hurt . He was planning to leave Lily here and go to Dumbledore by himself . It would be safer as they didnt know if the fireplace would work the same . And they didn't have their wands to apparat's out .
Lily took some floo powder which was scattered on the floor and stood in the fireplace
" headmasters office , hogwarts"
And she was gone , James quickly followed after her .
