chapter 4

To think that he once would've jumped at the chance to train her and now he wanted nothing more than to keep her away from him. Away from Snoke. Safe. He knew any moves he made would be reported to Snoke. Hux and slime he commanded would be all too eager to rat him out should he try to remove her from the ship. If he made an unauthorized departure, Snoke would know. kylo could only hope Snoke didn't know about bloom's communication with her friends and family. He should regret aiding the enemy, he knew, but he didn't. It was worth it to make her happy. He would turn into a traitor to protect her. He knew it deep in his bones. There was nothing he wouldn't do for her. All she had to do was ask. Which is why they were walking through the Finalizer, bloom in a loose black shirt of his belted over her pants with his cape around her shoulders. He needed to arrange additional clothing for her. Warm clothing, judging by her slight shivers even with his cape wrapped around her.

"Your quiet today," said bloom

They walked, turning every so often into other corridors. They passed a few groups of stormtroopers on patrol occasionally, who tensed up at the sight of him. The 'troopers knew better than to address him or question the girl at his side. even though he heard their thoughts, and he didn't like them. they were eye fucking her. and that pissed him off. Yes, he knew it was going to happen, but he didn't like the fact that it did. She was his and his alone. She was going to be his bride like he had planned so long ago. but he needed to bide his time when it came down to how to deal with bloom. plus, he rather not has his ass on fire again.

"I'm saving my energy. You should do the same." said kylo

"I don't want to do this either. To learn the Dark Side." said bloom

He felt the familiar hatred at his uncle's name. At the title she addressed him with. He used her shamelessly. and made her life a living hell. but for now, he was going to try and keep his mind off his uncle. other than he was going to share another memory with her. While bloom eyed kylo and wondered what he was thinking. but then again, he was about to share another memory with her. it was nice that he was helping her share with her what luke had stolen from her.

"Ben, this has to stop. You are an apprentice. She is a padawan. She should be focusing on her studies and you on yours. Instead, she shuns her peers to chase after you!" snapped Luke

"And?" said ben

"You think I don't see the Dark in you, Ben? It's growing stronger. You're letting it in. You should be fighting it. I won't let you teach the girl. You'll corrupt her. That last stunt you pulled. That was the Dark Side. There's no place here for that." snapped luke

"I never hurt her." said ben

"You will. One day. You need to stay away from rose. If you can't… then I'm afraid, you can't stay here." demanded Luke

"You'd throw me, out, Uncle?" snapped ben

"Here you will address me as Master Luke, apprentice. You have lost the right to call me uncle." snapped luke

ben narrowed his eyes at the man who he used to think a lot about. and ever since being here the man has been sick as his father. even double teaming him. His mother is not much better. but this was something that he would never do for not even his family. He was never going to give up on his firefly. She is his everything. and makes his life worth living.

A hand on his arm drew attention to his clenched fists. He slowly unclenched and felt relaxed. bloom. She was trying to comfort him. but he could see the anger in her beautiful eyes. He had a feeling his uncle was not going to be living much longer. but he saw a black butterfly leave that must mean she was sending word to kill his uncle. It was what was going to be best for the universe. He looked at her and smiled to her to let her know that he thanked her for doing this for him. Bloom smiled to let him know his uncle was a prisoner of her planet.

"Why did he want us apart?" asked bloom

They stood in the middle of a hallway, her hand still touching him. She was worried. She cared about him. It wasn't just about answers. He could feel it. He knew the answer was something that he had to give. but he did it out of good will. He didn't like those who harmed her. and that is something that would never end. He even hated snoke being near her. but there was not much they could do there. bloom tilted her head to the side and wondered why luke who is going to be dead soon. but he made their lives hell.

"I hurt someone. I thought I was protecting you." said kylo

"Were you?" asked bloom

"Yes." said kylo

"Why was he scared?" asked bloom

"Because he knew I belonged to the Dark. He wanted you for the Light, He was afraid of this." said kylo

"You won't hurt me." said bloom

"The Dark Side will change you, bloom. It will corrupt you. Twist you. There's no coming back from it. From what you will do. From what I've done." said kylo

kylo clinched his eyes shut to stop the tears from remembering about his uncle. These memories were always hard for him. his only redeeming memory from there was his bloom. She was the best that has ever happened to him. it killed him when he couldn't find her. but now she is back where she belonged. by his side. bloom blinked and could feel how he was feeling. This was something that she was getting used to. but Luke and han and liea had hurt him so much. but she was waiting to do what she wanted to liea. but she is being watched though.

"I know, I still want you to teach me. I trust you." said bloom

"You shouldn't trust me. You should be afraid." said kylo

"Ahh, there you are, Ren," said hux

a smug voice called. He felt bloom tense, her hand slipping from his arm to her side. In case she had to defend herself. To defend him. She was not going to let anyone harm him. but there was only a little she could do. but whoever was coming had no power whatsoever. kylo gritted his teeth. he knew this was going to happen sooner or later. and he knew hux. He would want his bloom for himself. because he likes woman like bloom. and bloom is very very almost angelic.

"Hux." said kylo

"Who is this creature?" purred hux

The ginger-haired man appraised her, up and down, his eyes lingering a bit too much. bloom narrowed her eyes a bit. she wanted to gag from what she was feeling from this man. He was horny because of her. He wanted her. kylo clenched his teeth and he felt her unease. He wanted to wring the other man's neck. how dare he want what belonged to him. This was not going to happen. he was not going to let hux have his bloom. This was not going to happen. He needed to get this over with so they could be on their way. while hux smirked oh how wanted this one.

"My apprentice. You should stay away from her." said kylo

"This is the feral creature from Jakku? The girl who destroyed my base?" asked hux

Hux raised his hand as if he might touch her and bloom recoiled. hux couldn't believe his eyes this beauty is the reason that his base is gone. He wanted her for himself. not like ren would deserve such a creature as this. but if she was from jakku why did she look like a Nobel woman. She was royalty. he was able to see that for himself. kylo growled and threw his hand out and Hux slammed back into the wall. The general seemed surprised. But not afraid. bloom arched a brow and wondered what the hell was all of that.

"No one touches her." hissed kylo

Hatred filled the man at her side. Blinding, boiling hatred. He was disgusted by this man, not just because of his current actions. No, this anger went back a long time. They were rivals. This man wore a uniform. He was part of the First Order. High ranking, most likely. but bloom didn't like this man. There was something about him that made her be on edge. well other than the eye fucking. That was annoying. but it was like they were talking as if she wasn't even there. but she has a feeling that she would have to stop kylo with kido before he did something stupid.

"You can't keep a pet, especially not that girl. A Force-sensitive? and a fairy of all things? Not on my ship. Not again." snapped hux

"Supreme Leader disagrees. She's here to train." said kylo

"Mine." thought kylo

bloom stepped closer to kylo. kylo held the other man there with ease. The anger continued. Stronger now. He wanted to kill this man. Wanted to crush him. bloom looked up to kylo and saying this guy is not worth it. hux eyes bloom with eyes that he wanted her. but it was not helping kylo mood. bloom sighed this was not common. She was used to this sort of thing. but she was not going to let kylo do something stupid. who knows what was going to happen if he did anything stupid to this man. She has a feeling this is diaspro father lap dog. he seemed to be the one who would kiss his ass so much that shit was all over his face. kylo mouth twitched with that thought bloom shared with him. It was something that he would see if he was like that.

"The Supreme Leader has already expressed his concerns about your personal interests. There's no way he'd allow you to keep her. Not after what she did." said hux

"You will stay away from her." hissed kylo

"You are letting your personal interests get the better of you. The girl is using you. She belongs in a holding cell." snapped hux

Kylo Ren tightened his grip, sliding him up the wall. He was not putting his bloom inside of a holding cell. He knows what this bastard was thinking. and he would be dammed to let him near his bloom. hux knew he struck a nerve. but he wanted to get close to the girl. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life. and he seen a lot of women. That was for sure. but this was a rare one in beauty. He knew the fairy race is known for their beauty. and here is one right in front of him. and a royal and powerful. the things he could do with her as his wife.

"I'm here to train with my Master, not that it is any of your business, so go and be a asshole somewhere else. and let me do what I am supposed to do here." said bloom

bloom could feel kylo losing control. His anger was getting the better of him. She knew if he killed this man, there would be trouble. And he wanted to. Badly. bloom sighed and knew that she was not going to let him. bloom felt him smile at that. At her calling him 'Master'. It relaxed him. kylo wanted her to call him that when she was under him when he was pleasuring her. but for now, not the time to be thinking about such things. bloom eye twitched in annoyance over this all. she wished she could set this man on fire. but she can't.

"Put your pet on a leash, Ren." snapped hux

The relaxation was gone. What had been a simple hold turned into a choke. bloom sighed and used kido to take him down and she sat on him. while kylo growled he forgot that she knew other powers. hux take a deep breath, coughing a bit. He was still pinned to the wall and Ren was still in turmoil. He still wanted to hurt him. bloom released him from her kido hold. and she tapped his helmet and pointed to look at head turned more toward her. He was listening. He didn't like it, but he was listening. She wished he wasn't wearing the mask. She wanted to see his face. To help him realize it was okay. That she was okay. She wanted to touch his face, to reassure him.

"He can't hurt me." said bloom

"He wants to." said kylo

bloom felt the fear through the bond. The quick barrage of images, each one worse than the other. Torture. Pain. Death. She closed her eyes, concentrating on a memory. Not one she liked, but one meant to soothe him. One from last night. Of her, sleeping wrapped up with him. Safe. His hand dropped, as did Hux. She loosened her grip on his arm and his hand brushed her cheek. his breathing irregular even with the modulator.

"We'll see about that," said hux

"I suggest you keep walking while you still can, if you have a problem with the Supreme Leader's orders, you should take it up with him. other than that, go and be on your way and do what assholes like you do." snapped bloom

"You think you're safe here, desert rat? That he can protect you? You are very wrong, girl." snapped hux

"Next time, I will let him kill you. or I will set you on fire fucker. now leave us." snapped bloom

"You will pay. Both of you. One day." hissed hux

With a last look, the other man stormed away, and she felt kylo hand drop. she sighed and knew her mouth was going to get her into trouble sometimes. but she was not going to let hux get her down. She was not going to show fear to him. He may have acted tough, but he was nothing. She let go, turning to face him. as she crossed her arms to show she was not happy with him. she is not helpless and she was able to handle herself and protect herself when she needed to.

"He wasn't going to hurt me." Said bloom

"He wanted to. He wanted to hurt you, bloom. For what happened to Starkiller. To hurt me." Said kylo

"But he didn't. I know you want to protect me, but you can't just attack people." Snapped bloom

Crack!

The stormtrooper dropped, his neck broken. His squad mates stepped back in unison, away from the body. Away from him.

She took a step back. He'd killed. Recently. For her. bloom cursed and wondered why in the world he was doing this. It was not the right way to do things. But then again she had done worst. But right now she was in a place that wanted her dead. Or wanted her for something else. And she could feel what hux wanted. He wanted her not dead. He wanted her for his own. But that was never going to happen. she was not going to accept it. even though snoke could order it. but the only this that kylo could never do anything about it if he even dared to try.

"Mine." Thought kylo

"What did you do?" asked bloom

"He touched you. He tried to take you from me." Growled kylo

"I need to go. I need to leave..." said bloom

bloom turned to run she needed to get the hell out of here. She needed to find a way out of here, and his arms ensnared her around the waist. He held her tight as she slapped his arms and kicked his legs. But kylo was not going to let her leave. He wanted to be here with him. It took him way to long to get her back into his arms. And he be dammed that he would lose her. but for now, he needed to get her to calm down. And see the reason for what she was trying to do. bloom growled as she was about to set his ass on fire. How dare he try to get her from escaping.

"Let me go!" hissed bloom

"I can't." said kylo

"You're a monster!" hissed bloom

"I know." Said kylo

bloom clawed at his arms, feeling trapped. Suffocated. She had to get away from him. Before he hurt someone else. She had to leave. Why wouldn't he let her leave? She needed to leave before that bastard could ever get what he wanted from her. She didn't want to be in a hux. Yes, she was starting to fall for kylo. But she had a feeling that it was always there. Kylo sighed and knew she was not thinking straight. And she was not happy with him when she was calling him a monster. but then again there was not much he could do other than calm her down. And that is what he needed her to do. lord only knows if snoke feels her trying to leave like this. It was not going to end well for either of them if that happened.

"Let go!" snapped bloom

"No, bloom I can't do that." said kylo

"Please!" pleaded bloom

"No, bloom. I can't." said kylo

He pulled her tighter, the chin of his helmet resting on top of her head. He can't just let her go. He needed her and she needed him. He would be lost without her again. She screamed out in frustration, wanting to burn his dick off right now. but she was drawing the attention of two passing stormtroopers. But as soon as they saw who she was fighting, they turned back the way they'd come. They know better to not mess with kylo ren when it came down to him angry. You will end up dead. And that is something they didn't want to end up with. so, they were going to go somewhere else. But they felt for the girl though. They knew she was probably going to end up dead.

"Please… Ben… please… let me go…" pleaded bloom

"I can't. I can't." whispered kylo

A lightsaber. Red and buzzing. As the darkside took over him. as the voice in his head was telling him to do horrible things. And kill the only person who meant the world to him. He just can't do it. He was fighting it the best way he was able to do so. he was unable to fight off it.

"Fight him! Ben!" cried bloom

Pain, horrible, terrible pain as the red blade passed through her chest. His name fell from her lips. As her fairy form vanished. As she tried to call out to him. but she was unable to speak. She was unale to say anything. As death crept closer to her. as her vision blured.

Bloom sighed and saw what he was showing to her. and knew it was something he feared. And or something he seen that the dark side was showing to him. but she needed to put his mind at ease, bloom closed her eyes as she calmed herself down. She didn't need to get herself deeper into shit right now. and snoke she needed to make sure she planed out his end carefully. He was different from his daughter diaspro and his sisters the ancient witches. Bloom sighed and put her hands on his.

"You're hurting me." Said bloom

"Don't leave." Pleaded kylo

"Come back! Ben!" cried rose

Kylo was trying his best not to cry, he was so afraid of her leaving him. He didn't want her to leave him. He waited for so long to find her. and now her has her in his arms again. And he was not willing to let her go or out of his sights. Bloom sighed. Really the people she was reborn with could have named her something better than freaking rose. But it makes sense her name is bloom and guessing whoever poor soul Luke had her reborn with had some feeling that should be close to the name she was really born with. But bloom needed to calm him down. It was not going to do well if he was like this. It could get them both killed.

"I won't leave, I won't leave you." said bloom

"Promise?" whispered kylo

"I promise." Said bloom

kylo released her and she took a step away from him. She knew that it took all of that to get him to let her go. but this was something that she knew she needed to do. She needed to be there for him. There was still good inside of him. He only went to the dark side because of how his family treated him. and she was going to give him a big family. And they are going to welcome him with open arms. She took a deep breath before turning to face him. To look at that damn mask. She hated that mask. His fingers reached up and unlatched it. He took the helmet off and held it in his hands. His pain was written clearly on his face. The face of a tortured man who had once been the boy. She reached up to touch him, to touch the scar she'd made. He flinched at her touch, his eyes still dark and wary.

"I won't leave, I won't… Master." Said bloom

He bowed his head then, his eyes closed. He seemed to relax, to calm, at her touch. It settled him. The anger she felt through their bond seemed to retreat from her. and wanting to burn off his cock and balls. But she knew that he was just as scared as she was. but for now, she was going to have to do to survive. She has been doing it long enough. Plus, she faced off with much more fucked up people and more monsters than she could count. And hux well. She would deal with him the best way she could. But for now, she was going to try to be there for kylo. And make sure she was not going to leave him.

"bloom…" said kylo

"I… I didn't mean it. I just…" said bloom

"You're afraid." Said kylo

"no just of the issue being here does," said bloom

"That's why I'm training you. If I try to hurt you, I want you to kill me." Said kylo

bloom paused, she had to think on that one. And see and hear what she was hearing. But she is feeling sincerity both in his voice and his mind. He really meant it. He would rather die than hurt her. but she could never kill him. She would try her best to try to reach him. her heart would never let her kill him. She loved him way too much. Kylo sighed and knew she would never kill him. even if it meant her life. But he could never think of a life without her. and that is something he would not willingly live without. but he would kill himself if she died.

"I won't do it, You won't hurt me." Said bloom

"We'll see." Said kylo

Kylo replaced his helmet and started walking again in long, swift strides. Kylo was trying his best to get his thoughts together. He didn't need snoke to catch onto what he was feeling and thinking. The old man seemed to like to mess around and see what his feelings are. But he would be dammed if anything would happen to his beloved bloom. He was not going to lose her again. He has her back. and yes, he knew he was being selfish. But he didn't know what else to do. other than leave. But that would be tough to do. She watched him go a moment before jogging to catch up.

Meanwhile a few hours later

Kylo released bloom from a chokehold. They were both dripping in sweat and panting from exertion. Ren reached up and undid his helmet. It hit the mat beside them with a muffled thud as he ran his hand through sweat-soaked hair. bloom had tossed his cape off after the first hour, no longer needing the warmth, but he continued to wear his full outfit, gloves and all. She didn't know how he could stand it. but she was having fun training with him. He was not bad to a teacher. But then again, she was not going to admit that fact to him. not that his ego needed to be even bigger than it already is.

"Practice," said kylo.

Bloom eyes twitched in annoyance as she ran the back of her hand across her brow, but she knew she needed practice. Even though she merged her force powers and her fairy powers and other powers together. But she needed to train said powers of the force. She was still getting used to the fact that she even had the force. Kylo smiled and he knew she was trying. The force is still new to her. She was his little fire fairy. She was going to be one powerful being once she is trained. But he knew she was going to try and take down snoke. And he was willing to help to just be free from him. even though that was going to take a lot of time to plan that out. bloom felt a tightness in her chest. Felt regret through the bond. A boy who didn't mean to kill his father. Who didn't want to kill his father. But who felt he had no choice.

Young kylo ren was standing before snoke. And was waiting for what he needed to tell him. This was something that he hated doing. but he knew there was no backing out now. He was not strong enough to even dare to. snoke looked down on kylo ren. Young ben solo. The grandson of the mighty darth vader. This was someone he needed on his side. He would be powerful once he is trained. Even though he would love to have luke skywalker to be killed. Even though he was going to use kylo ren for that task.

"Supreme Leader…" said kylo

Pain lanced through his body. Everywhere and nowhere at the same time. He fell to his knees, biting through his lip to hold back a scream of pain. He was not going to give him the screams of pain that he was making him feel. Snoke arched a nonexistent brow. He was wondering why he was not going to scream with the pain he was causing him. intriguing. He was going to continue to do it. he needed the pain to be on the dark side of the force. He was not even close to being his grandfather. In which is a sore subject when it came down to being said to his face. It was motivation. And help to keep him on the dark side of the force.

"You have failed me again, Kylo Ren. You leave yourself open to the Light." Hissed snoke

"Supreme Leader…" pleaded kylo

"The Light is weakness. It diminishes your power. Your sentiments for family make you useless." Hissed snoke

"Supreme…." Said kylo

Another one. Longer and stronger. He felt tears in his eyes. There was only so much pain that a man was able to feel. And the supreme leader was making him feel it. and it was very very painful. Snoke smirked he knew he was making him crack. But he ageeded to kill his father. It was the best thing to make him show that he was going to be able to make the dark side complete in him. The next blast left him tasting his own blood as it streamed down his nose and into his mouth.

bloom saw the pain on his face. The tension in his body as he stood with his fists clenched. She stood in front of him, hating to see him like this. It reminded her of the sad boy in her head. She touched his cheek, and he gripped her wrist with his hand. For a moment, she thought he was going to push her away. Instead, tears slid down his cheek toward her hand and he was crying, softly and slowly. Before her, he crumbled to his knees, his head pressed against her stomach. She stroked his hair, shocked by the display of emotion. Of the Light. Ben Solo still lived. She knew it now.

meanwhile a few days later

It became a routine. They're spar, sometimes with practice weapons, and sometimes solely with fists and the Force. It varied from day to day. He pushed her hard, but she knew he was still holding back. Occasionally, while in the middle of a fight, she'd hit a memory. Usually, it was her own. Sometimes she slipped back into his mind, stealing his own. She didn't remember the night the Academy fell. She still didn't remember how she ended up on Jakku. But she knew after she remembered. Fucking luke skywalker was the reason why she was there. And well reborn here for the matter of fact. But it was meant to happen. she needed to set the universe straight and back to what it once was. And kill the remaining evil of diaspro family and the ancient witches. bloom wasn't sure she really wanted to. She liked the memories of her and Ben.

Ben, making a funny face at her, trying to make her laugh while eating. She ended up snorting blue milk out her nose, which burned, but the smile on his face was worth it. Ben, tucking in her bed one night after a nightmare had woken her up. Ben, singing a song to her when she was sick. Ben, teaching her the Force. Just a small rock, but he'd been pleased, so proud of her. Ben, giving her a ride on his shoulders. Ben, so sad. But not sad anymore when she hugged him. He always liked her hugs. Ben, arguing with Master Luke. Ben, fixing her hair with ease now. Ben, patching up a scratch. Ben, staring at her, shaking his head. Ben. Ben. Ben Solo. Her Ben.

Bloom came out of her thoughts, as she saw kylo helmet in a corner. More and more, he'd been practicing without the mask in place. More and more she saw Ben underneath the mask that was Kylo Ren. She called her practice saber to her hand through the Force, still feeling a slight thrill as it obeyed. She saw his lips twist upward into a quick smile. Even thought she would never tell him on how much this turned her on that they did this together. He attacked immediately. Bloom alternated between the saber in her hand and the Force. He did the same, pulling little tricks to try and unbalance her. To mess with her focus. And she returned the favor. He zapped her on the arm with his lightsaber, so she stabbed him in the leg with hers in retaliation. Their black robes swirled as they moved in circles, attacking and defending in nearly the same motions. They were well-matched.

It took them longer to declare victories now. Her endurance had increased over the days turned into weeks. Their bouts went longer and longer. Sometimes, they even ended up in a drawl, both of them too exhausted to move further. But not today. Just when she thought she had him, he turned the tables on her and threw her saber out of her hand using the Force. She went to call it back, only to hit the mat hard. Briefly winded, she moved to get up, only to find him straddling her hips and using his weight to hold her down. His saber hummed, the blade almost at her throat. He was waiting to zap her. She threw his saber away with the Force as hard as she could. Before he could counter with his own hands, she leaned up. And quickly kissed him on the lips.

Kylo was startled, so much so that she easily flipped him onto his back. She went to call her saber back, eager to declare victory, when his hands fisted into the fabric of her robes and pulled her back down. It was her turn to be caught off-guard as he kissed her. She didn't fight back as he rolled them across the mat, pinning her under him again. This kiss wasn't a peck. It wasn't light or sweet. It was possessive and bruising. Demanding. Powerful. Just like the man. This wasn't the first time he'd had her pinned beneath him and vulnerable. However, it was the first time he kissed her. His bloom.

The first kiss had been a pleasant shock. The second one, well, he just couldn't help himself. Ren didn't have experience with this. He acted on instinct. On emotion. He wanted this girl. So bad that it physically hurt him. The painful proof was between them, pressing against her stomach. But she didn't pull away from him; didn't push him away. He put one hand on the side of her neck, his other on the curve of her hip. She made a sound in her throat that sounded like a moan. He kissed her again, deeper, full of need. She opened her mouth, and he claimed it. Pleasure filled the bond. Excitement. Anticipation. She liked this. Liked him. Wanted more. He barely stifled a groan as her hips wiggled against him and his painfully hard erection. bloom hands were in his hair, pulling him down to her. Taking. Wanting. Needing more. The door opened with a whoosh, but neither of them paid any attention until the waiting stormtrooper cleared his throat uneasily. He felt bloom stiffen beneath him. Annoyed, he turned his head to look over.

"Yes?" growled kylo

"Sir, the Supreme Leader wishes to speak to you."

"Just give us a moment," said bloom

"The orders are only for Kylo Ren,"

Bloom sighed and knew that kylo was not happy right now and knew that he needed a moment or two but also needed to get rid of his boner before her goes to see the supreme leader. bloom pulled herself into more of a sitting position beneath him. kylo groaned and he was not happy right now. He was having a wonderful moment with his bloom. His little fire fairy. Something he never thought she would be when he knew her as a little rose. But it makes sense though, and luke wanted her power.

"Regardless, we need a moment. You're dismissed." Said kylo

"Sir…"

"Your message was delivered. Return to your post. Now. And you will forget what you saw," ordered kylo

kylo pushing into the weaker man's mind for the last command. Making sure that he didn't remember what he saw here today. While the poor storm trooper was just happy to be alive. He was worried he was going to be like the rest of them who encountered kylo rens anger. As he turned and left, and he turned his attention to the girl before him again. Her face was flushed. He touched her cheek. He sighed at her and wanted to remain here with her. but he knew he must obey the orders of the stupid supreme leader, or you won't like what he would do to you.

meanwhile a little while later

kylo made his way to where snoke was waiting for him. He knew that he wanted to know the progress on the training. But that was something he needed to think about. but he didn't have the time. Snoke appeared before him as he kneeled before him. snoke arched a brow and wondering what was going on with his apprentice. He knew the fairy had some hold over him. but his daughter was just the same as well. but he loved his daughter with everything that he had. And she killed her and tossed her into the gates of hell. along with his sisters.

"Your progress with the girl is slow," said Snoke

"It takes time to replace the Light." Said kylo

"Not this long. I have half-a-mind to have the General take over her training. At least I know he wouldn't be waylaid by compassion." Said snoke

"I just need more time, Supreme Leader. I will make her a warrior for the Dark Side. She will join us in the fight against the Resistance. She just needs time." Said kylo

"You have two weeks before the General steps in. Use them wisely." Said snoke

The hologram blinked out and he hurried back to his quarters. Two weeks? That was a nearly impossible request. Even so, he would never let her fall into Hux's hands. He'd kill the man first, damn the consequences. He would not let that filthy bastard near her. but if it came down to it he knew had no choice. But for now he needed to go and see if she was doing ok, He stepped into their room and noticed her lying splayed across the bed, fast asleep.

"Ben, no… Ben…" cried out bloom

Concerned, he reached out through the bond, and he recognized her pain. She was trapped in a nightmare. He shook her shoulder, trying to rouse her. She came awake with a start, slapping him hard across what should've been a face, but instead was his helmet. He heard a crack as bones in her hand broke. bloom bolted up, clutching her hand, her eyes wet with tears. She hurt her hand. How pathetic was that.

"It was a dream, It wasn't real. Snoke…" said kylo

kylo pulled her into his arms, pulling her against his chest. She tensed and he tried to soothe her with his touch, not his words. Getting the helmet off would be too difficult now. bloom didn't know what to make of the dream she was having. She set him on fire with her dragon flame. How could she do such a thing to the man she loved. Kylo was wondering what sort of dream she was having. He knew it was not a good one with how she was acting.

"You're dead… You're dead and I killed you with my dragon flame…" said bloom

"I'm right here, I'm here, bloom."

kylo took her good hand and placed it over his heart. She was hesitant, but he felt her relax. Felt her breathe. Felt the tension ease as she felt his heartbeat. The reassurance that he was alive. he was not killed by her dragon flame. He was right there with her. but damn she felt good in his arms. And he would never let her go. but there was much to discuss. And he needed her to understand that she needed to work harder to go to the dark side of the force. Even though bloom didn't understand what hux could do to her.

"kylo?" asked bloom

"I'm still here." Said kylo

"I don't want to kill you." said bloom

"I know." Said kylo

"I don't want you to die." Said bloom

"I know." Said kylo

kylo stroked her flaming red hair. Her hair always made him think of fire. In which it looked like fire to him. but he loved the shiny of it as well. She leaned against him, her head pressed forward against his shoulders, her hand still on his heart. She needed to make sure that he was there with her, alive. but for now, she was trying to calm her nerves. Kylo smelled her hair and he loved how she smelled. While bloom just didn't know what snoke had ordered of them.

"It won't happen. It's just a dream. A nightmare." Said kylo

"It's a warning. He knows. He knows I want to kill him." said bloom

He sighed heavily. Two weeks. He had two weeks to save her. Two weeks until she belonged to Hux. Two weeks until he might have to kill her. Or until they both failed. bloom stared at her freshly bandaged hand and the newly set bones. She'd broken five of them according to the doctor and the medidroid who had attended to her. Five of them all from cracking her hand on his helmet. All because of a nightmare. The pain medication made her hazy and it was only thanks to kylo strong grip on her arm that she made it back to their rooms without falling. He helped her to the bed and under the covers.

"You saw it too," said bloom

"Yes. I saw it." said kylo

bloom snuggled further under the covers, still protective of her injured hand. Even with the medication blurring the edges of her perception, she knew to guard it. but she was wondering what had happened with snoke. He didn't say anything just yet. But she needed to know what was going to be ordered from them. She knew the bastard was going to ask how far along to the dark side she was. but he has a much bigger game about her than he is saying. And she has one for him. she was just plotting it out as much as she was able to do in her free time. She just needed to get kylo on her side on this one. Since he was going to help her if she talked him into it.

"How was…?" asked bloom

"Not good," said kylo

"What happened?"

"I… we have two weeks, bloom. If you're not Dark by then… Hux takes over you're training." Said kylo

"Hux? No… there has to… he's not Force-sensitive!" snapped bloom

"It's a test. Supreme Leader thinks if my tactics don't work, Hux will be able to physically turn you into a solider. And if I try to save you, he'll know I'm a traitor to the cause. That being around you made me weak." Said kylo

bloom felt anger then. Her own anger, not his for once. She was not happy about this. How could that bastard order such a thing. Now she knew he was out to get her more now. but for now, she needed to think. And think fast. But she was used to his emotions bleeding through the bond. She was used to sharing them. But this time, the worst of it was her own anger. He was more tinged with worry and sadness. Guilt, even.

"He can't take you away from me. We're stronger together. I won't… I can't work with Hux. I won't train with anyone else." Said bloom

"bloom" said kylo

"I won't let him!" snapped bloom

"We might not have a choice." Said kylo

"I won't let him! I won't let him," said bloom

kylo was there beside her, pulling her against him for comfort. He started stroking her hair. She closed her eyes at the touch, savoring it for a long moment. He knew that there was a lot of things that they have to do. but he would be dammed that he would lose the one he loved most in the universe. Bloom sighed she loved it when he played with her hair. It was something that soothed her. as she closed her eyes and tried to calm her nerves. Even though it was not a smart idea that she clenched her broken hand the way she did.

"I won't lose you, bloom. We'll find a way. You just must let the Dark in. Control it before it controls you." said kylo

"I'm not strong enough," said bloom

Bloom sighed as the anger was nearly gone now. Replaced by fear. The fear of him being taken away from her. Of never seeing him again. But she knew she needed to do all of this. She went to the dark once and that was a long time ago. But that was inside of her that made her go that way. but she could try and channel that part of her. She knew it was there. She would be a dark fairy then. But she was able to control that side of her when it came down to what she needed to do. she didn't like that side of her. but what can she do. She needed to survive.

"I'll help you. But you're going to have to use your pain. Let it strengthen you. It won't be pleasant. I won't lie to you. And it can no longer be just me. You have to learn to defend yourself against others." said kylo

"Who?" asked bloom

"'Troopers. We can get a bunch of them. We must push our limits. You won't like it." said kylo

"I trust you." said bloom

"It will hurt." Said kylo

"Not as much as losing you." said bloom

"I won't let anyone take you from me again, bloom, Not Snoke. Not Hux. No one." Said kylo

kylo lips found hers. Gentle, soothing. She knew he meant it. He'd die for her. She was the one person who meant something to him. She was his weakness, and he was hers. Snoke knew this. Snoke wanted to break them. she would fight to the death. she needed to kill him off anyways. It was something she must do. He needed to go and be with his family in hell. kylo sighed and knew they were going to be walking a tight rope here. But for now, he was going to have to do his best when it came down to the fact that she must go to the dark side.

"kylo…" said bloom

"You should rest." Said kylo

"I won't let the monster get you." said ben

"What if he hurts you?" asked rose

"He won't. I'm a Jedi, rose. I'll protect you." said ben

"Promise?" asked rose

"Always. No one will hurt you. No monsters. I'll keep you safe." Said ben

He moved to get up and she grabbed his arm with her good arm. She didn't say she was scared. That the last time she'd fallen asleep she'd been treated to a vision of his death. That she'd been afraid, so very afraid. She didn't have to. He could feel it all. The apprehension. The fear. He lay back on the bed and pulled her on to his chest, her head resting there, her body tucked up to him, as he played with her loose hair. She closed her eyes and suddenly she was that young girl again and he was the boy.

Meanwhile a few hours later

kylo woke to her limbs entwined with his own, bloom snuggled in closer than she'd been in a while. It wasn't uncommon for her to curl up toward him in sleep. His little desert scavenger got cold at night. But this time was different. Her good hand was wound into the fabric of his overcoat, deliberately clinging to him. Keeping him trapped there. She was still deeply asleep, drugged. kylo felt nothing but extreme calm and contentment in these little moments. He felt the most like his old self in these quiet moments, these moments in between sleep and wakefulness, these moments that were just the two of them. bloom, snuggled up against him, safe and happy. She slept best when tucked up close. She might start on her own side, but not long after she fell asleep, she made her way over to him.

kylo smiled and thought just like the little girl used to crawl into his bed after a nightmare, bloom slept tangled up beside him, sometimes barely touching him and other times with her head on his chest and her limbs wrapped around him. Clinging to him is like a lifeline. He could stay like that for hours, listening to her breathe and watching her sleep. Knowing that she was safe. Knowing that she no longer had to be alone. One-by-one, he pried her fingers off and her face twitched. He kissed the hand and put it around his pillow. Her fingers closed again, but she still seemed uneasy. She was on the verge of waking up. He didn't have much time. He hurried to a door he hadn't opened in some time. In the darkened room, his private meditation chamber, he retrieved two weapons. One he clipped to his belt. The other he carried in his bare hand. Bloom's saberstaff. He stepped back into the room to find a bewildered bloom sitting upright in the bed, her breathing tight.

"Ren… I thought…" said bloom

"No, I'm here. I didn't leave. I thought you were still sleeping. Ssh," said kylo

kylo kneeled beside her on the bed, touching her cheek with his bare hand. He needed to comfort his beloved. He knew that she was worried with everything going on. and what she was dreaming about the night before. And the then news from what snoke wished. And how long they must do it. bloom sighed and knew she was being ridiculous. But with everything that was going on. her mind is not at ease with herself. But she knew that there was work to be done. And she needed to get to the job of turning dark.

"I woke up and you were gone…" said bloom

"I'm right here." Said kylo

"Where did you go?" asked bloom

"To get this. It's time you had a weapon again." Said kylo

kylo set the saber on the bed, causing her to look down at the hilt she'd created. She smiled fondly at it. It protected her for a long time. But there were times that there was no protection. She didn't touch it for a long moment. He felt apprehension through the bond. She hadn't touched her lightsaber since their battle; not since she fully belonged to the Light.

"Are you sure?" asked bloom

"I want you to have it. So, you can protect yourself. Even from me." Said kylo

kylo knew she wouldn't want to use it. She wouldn't want to kill him. 'You might have to hurt me. It's okay if you do,' he said in her head. She tensed at the unpleasant thought. Bloom closed her eyes to show him that she was evil once. And she would try to channel her evil fairy part of her. but it was gifted to her by an enemy even though she didn't want it. but for now, it was something that she showed him to let him know she was able to do this. And was able to control it since she had to use that form more than once in her very long life.

"bloom, if you have to, I want you to do it. I want you to kill me." Said kylo

"I won't let him take you from me. I won't let anyone take you away." Said bloom

"Then you have to learn to fight. Not just against me. You need your saber. This is real, now. Life and death. You have to be willing to kill. No remorse. Not for them. You need to think about me. Use me as an anchor." Said kylo

"For what?" asked bloom

"The Dark Side is rooted in emotions. Anger. Fear. You have to channel that for your power. Use the fear of being alone. Use the fear of losing me. Let it power you. Make you stronger, faster, better. But your dark fairy form will help you go that way." Said kylo

Kylo didn't want her to follow his path. Not now. He would do it to save her. He would teach her to protect her from Snoke. From himself. And most importantly, from Hux. Because she knew what hux felt for her. and that was something he was not going to accept. Hux wanting to be with his bloom. Like hell he would let that fucker put his filthy cock inside of her. but for now, not the time to be thinking about such things. She needed to get her to prepare for what is to come.

"I'm not a killer. Well unless if it's necessary" said bloom

"I know, I know, bloom. But to survive… for us both to survive. You have to. You must make the tough decisions. Use your anger. Forget logic. Forget the calm. Think about what you went through in Jakku. What you suffered without me." Said kylo

He saw her grip tighten on the hilt. He felt loneliness in her mind. The despair. Abandonment. No family. She waited for her family to come back. For someone to come back. well before she remembered who she was. A terrified little girl trapped on a planet full of sand and forced to work to avoid starving. An asset to scavengers because of her size. Forced into dangerous, small, and unstable compartments of downed star ships. A girl who learned how to survive. A girl who learned how to fly despite being afraid to leave. Afraid to miss someone who might come back. She kept the same hairstyle for fourteen years in case they didn't recognize her. That was bloom. His bloom. She was closer to the Dark Side than he imagined. Because of a junk boss. Blobfish, that's what she called him in her head. Unkar Plutt was his given name. He disgusted her. Kept her enslaved. Without him, she starved. He knew this was a good test for her. Plutt would be a test. Snoke wouldn't be happy to let them off the Finalizer, let alone allow them to bloom home planet. But no, it had to be on Jakku. It had to be where it all began. He was two weeks.

"kylo…" said bloom

"Don't worry. I won't leave you. We're together now. You and I." said kylo

"I'm afraid." Said bloom

"I won't let you do this alone, bloom. I will be with you no matter what. I'm always in your head." Said kylo

"I don't think I can do this. I don't think I can be Dark. Yes, there is a dark fairy in me. But that is all I know of darkness. Well, there are other ways but that was for another time." Said bloom

Kylo sighed and closed his eyes and called up a memory. One he hadn't wanted to share with her. Not like this. He let her in and felt her hesitate in the darkness. But he knew snoke had something else for her. he was angered for what she did to his family. Even though they deserved it for what they had done. But for now, he wanted to show her another memory. He hated luke for what she had to go through alone on jaku. She didn't need to be there. But it seemed he chose a planet that would make her suffer the worst that she would come to him and see him to train her. and he was going to do what he set out to do to her since he had her reborn.

He knew what he had to do. It was time. There was no turning back. If he even tried, it would only be worse. Snoke was coming for him. To train him. So, he could reach his full potential. Even so, he risked the pain and wrath for one last act of defiance. He hurried to the younglings' quarters. He found his way to the room where little rose slept. He scooped the still sleeping girl out of her bed. She stirred, limbs dull from sleep.

"Ben?" asked rose

"Ssh, sleep. You're dreaming." Said ben

She burrowed her face against his robes snuggling into him. She had no idea what he was about to do. What he would do. She could never know. He didn't want her to know. He didn't want to do this, but the voice in his head did. It was a test of loyalty. But he wouldn't hurt his little fire fly. He hurried to a hiding spot he'd discovered while exploring one day. It was a tight and cramped natural structure similar to a cave. It hurt to try and squeeze his lean frame inside. But soon it would be the only safe place. She whimpered, waking up more.

"Ben… no…" said rose

"You need to get inside. We're playing a game." Said ben

He sat her down, pushing her to climb through the narrow opening. Reluctantly, she did so, but lacking much of the enthusiasm she usually had when it came to exploring.

"I don't wanna." Said rose

"I know, but you have to." said ben

"Why?"asked rose

"No matter what, I need you to stay here." Said ben

"But it's dark!" said rose

"The darkness is only in your mind." said ben

"Please don't leave! Ben, don't leave!" said rose

Indecision gnawed at his gut. He felt the pain coming off her in waves. The hurt. The loneliness.

"I'll be back. Promise." Said ben

She withdrew from him, this little shining bacon of light. She was so bright and good that it hurt. He wanted to spare her the pain and agony. He knew what he must do, but he couldn't subject her to it. She's not the youngest of them, not anymore, but he has a soft spot for her. She was his rose and he'd fight to the death to protect her. No harm would come to her or there would be hell to pay.

"No matter what, I need you to stay here." Said ben

He crouched low, darkness surrounding them both in the tight space.

"Please don't leave!" pleaded rose

"I have to, Kira. I'll come back. I'll come right back!"said ben

"No, Ben! Don't go!" pleaded rose

He pried her fingers off his clothes as she screamed.

"It's not safe! You need to stay here. I'll be right back." said ben

"No! Don't go! Don't leave!" said rose

the hysterical girl cried, hot tears rolling down her cheeks. He could feel the fear from her.

"I have to go fight the monster, rose. You have to stay here. No matter what, you have to stay here. I'll come back for you!" said ben

"Ben… No…" cried rose

"You'll be safe here. I'll be right back for you. I promise." Said ben

"Don't leave!" cried rose

He picked her up, hugged her tight. She was so full of Light. So bright. He had to save her. He had to do this. If he didn't, she would die.

"rose, it's going to be okay. Remember the song? Hmm? The one I taught you? Just keep singing it. I'll be right back. I promise." Said ben

"Ben, no!" cried rose

He pulled off his outer robe and wrapped her in it.

"I'll be right back. Just stay here." Said ben

"Ben…" cried rose

He stroked her hair, feeling the pull. The claws in his skull. It was time. He knew what he had to do.

"I'll come back." said ben

rose curled up tightly, wrapped up in his oversized robe, shaking and afraid. He wanted to stay. He wanted to stay with her, with the Light. He didn't want to do this. But he had to. He stroked her hair once, twice, then climbed back out the way he'd come. He heard her singing softly, hesitantly, but she stayed put. Ben unbelted the lightsaber at his side. It had once belonged to his uncle, and before him, his grandfather. It was the Skywalker lightsaber, a beautiful blue beam that he'd only been granted recently. One day, he would make his own saber. Until then, his master's blade was his own. He heard the shuttles landing. Heard boots on the ground. Snoke's forces. He approached the temple, watching as the white-armored Stormtroopers moved through the darkness, teams separating to go into various dorms.

"Kill them. Kill them all, my apprentice. Only then will you be truly powerful. Only then can you escape your family. Escape this pain," hissed snoke

He ignited the blade as screams tore through the night. He felt death ripple through the Force and it made him queasy. He didn't want this. Not like this. He saw it in his head. rose screaming as he threw her into a tree. How he'd been powerless to stop himself. Unable to control himself. His master had shown him a future worse than this one. A future where he killed the youngling. Because of what she was. Weakness and Light. He never became her teacher. He killed her first, because he couldn't control his powers.

rose, falling from a cliff screaming his name. rose, a branch impaling her chest from being thrown back. Kira, crushed under a pile of rocks. rose, a lightsaber ran through her stomach. Her death always at his hands. He was too weak to protect her from himself. That's why he had to do this. He had to destroy the Jedi, like his Master asked, to learn control. To protect her. His Master promised to help him. Ben entered the padawan dorms, following the 'troopers. He heard the cries for help dimly, but all he could think about was rose. About her screaming for him.

He killed one of the padawans who tried to run past him. A boy close to his own age. Cut him down without a thought. Each death hurt a bit less through the Force, though nothing could compare to the pain in his head. To his Master. Demanding blood. Commanding him to kill. Or he'd kill the girl. Another student tried to fight him, a girl, wielding her own lightsaber. He couldn't help but see Kira in her. He had a killing blow but didn't take it. A blaster bolt to the chest finished her. So much death and blood. He followed the path of destruction toward the younglings' quarters, where he'd been not even an hour before. He passed rose empty bed, a tightness in his chest, before he found the youngling he wanted. She tormented his Kira. His little bright fire fly who never hurt anyone. This girl was not Jedi. She deserved death. Sana looked up at him with cold eyes and a sneer.

"Where's your pet, Ben?" asked sana

"She's not a pet." Hissed ben

"She'll never be a Jedi." Hissed sana

"Neither will you. You'll never hurt her again!" hissed ben

Panting, he backed away from the body and headed for the temple. The archives. Where his uncle would be. Along the way, he killed. Slashed at already injured students crying out for help, for mercy. He silenced their cries with the only mercy he could give…his saber. Blood stained his clothes. Blood of his uncle's students. He walked among the bodies, feeling for his old master. His students were here, screaming and crying and dying, and where was the old man? Hiding like the coward he was. Then he heard a scream. One he recognized. Ben turned back the way he'd come and saw a 'trooper aim his weapon at a small girl clutching a robe around her.

"Ben!" cried rose

Without a thought, he sunk his saber through the man's chest and watched him crumple. He let anger and rage consume him. No one touched her. No one hurt her. No one. His. His rose. His to protect. She was crying in the dirt, alive, but unharmed. Relief rushed through him at that moment. Then fear.

"Ben…" cried rose

He paused, hesitating, before he scooped her up, his lightsaber extinguished. He smoothed back her hair and she cried into his neck and shoulder, her hot tears soaking into the blood and grit straining the beige tunic. He should kill her now. Save her the pain. The loneliness. But he looked down at this girl, at the bright, blinding Light inside her and he couldn't do it. He couldn't kill her. Not after everything he'd done. He couldn't do it. Choking back tears, he put a hand on her cheek. He pushed her to sleep and she dropped limply against his chest, tears still rolling down her cheek and onto his hand, mixing with the blood. He carried her, his overrobe still wrapped around her. He found a safe spot and tucked her limp body there. He tucked her in tighter with his robe, covering her. Protecting her.

With a lump in his throat, he headed back into the bleak night. The temple was in ruins, the Stormtroopers doing their best to bring the stone down. The air was thick with smoke and death. So much death. So much pain in the Force. A man in robes, the hood pulled over his head, obscuring his face stood by the temple. His voice, broken with pain, cried out, He stood before his former master, his clothes dark with drying blood, his saber clenched in his hand.

"Why, you failed, uncle." Said ben

"What have you done, Ben? What have you done?!" said luke

"What I had to. What was necessary." Said ben

"There's no coming back from this. From what you've done…" said luke

"I know." Said ben

"Where's the girl, Ben? Where is rose?" asked luke

"Dead. Like the others. A sentimental weakness I no longer have use for," said ben

he spat, knowing the lie was all he had to protect her. No one could know where she lived. No one. He turned to leave. There was a ship waiting for him. For rose. He just had to get it ready to fly. The one thing his good-for-nothing smuggler father had taught him. Before he abandoned him.

"Don't you walk away from me!" hissed luke

"We both know you won't kill me. You can't stop me. You're too weak, Skywalker. You always have been." Said ben

"Ben!" snapped luke

the old man called, but he paid no attention. He kept walking and the Jedi made no move to follow him. Skywalker just stayed in the ruins. Weak, old fool. The anger stayed. It fueled him. The Light was weak. There was no calm; no peace. It was a lie. The Dark had power. The power he needed to save her. To protect her. Pain made him stronger. His hands flew over controls, preparing the small craft for them. For her.

"rose!" cried ben

He ran through the smoky ruins, heading for where he'd hidden her sleeping body. She was gone. Her small, beige-clothed form was missing from where he'd tucked her out of sight.

"rose!" screamed ben

he screamed. She couldn't or rather shouldn't have woken up, not yet. He'd only been gone mere moments to ready the ship for their flight. Not long enough for her to override his Force-induced slumber. Unless he'd miscalculated the use.

"rose!"

He couldn't lose her. Not now. Not his fire fly. Not his rose.

"rose! Please!" cried ben

Then the pressure in his mind, the voice. He had to go. Had to leave. It increased, fingernails clawing through his skull, reminding him of promises made. Allegiances he pledged.

"rose! I'll come back for you! I'll find you!" cried ben

Kylo opened his eyes with tears in them. The hardest memory that he never liked he showed it to her. yes, she was able to show him all her memories. But he didn't know if this was the right time to show what he wanted to show her. even though that was a very painful day. It took him forever to find her again. And he be dammed if he would let her go. bloom sighed and knew there was not much more than to know what he showed her. It was a heartbreaking memory. As she came back into reality from the very powerful memory.

"No, no, no, no… This… it was all because of me?" asked bloom

Her lip trembled, tears close to falling. He touched her face, stroking the skin with his knew it was going to take a lot for her to take in. but he wanted her to see it. and see what he had done for her. and how much he loved her. yes it was odd to love her as that age. But he knew what she would look like when she was grown. And that was what he loved about her. and he wanted to make her his wife. And still does what to have her as his wife.

"Yes. I would do anything for you. To protect you. To save you. I turned to the Dark Side because I didn't know what else to do." said kylo

"Why me?" asked bloom

"I don't know. I don't know, I never wanted this. This attachment. I never wanted to care. But you… I never stood a chance." Said kylo

"This is my fault. You did terrible things because of me." Said bloom

"No, this was my choice. Not yours. Mine." Said kylo

"There's still Light in you, it's not gone. Not completely.' Said bloom

kylo ignored it. He knew. He had felt in creeping back in. Killing Han was supposed to stop it. To end it. To kill off the last part that had been Ben Solo. The last weakness. Instead, it backfired. And that was without counting her. He felt the Light creep from her into him, just as he knew the Dark bleed from him into her. It was why she wasn't completely Dark. The bond made them share. She drew upon his Dark and he pulled from her Light. A delicate balance. One that would continue to shift and change. That was what frightened his Master. Snoke feared the bond. He feared the girl. He feared her because she was going to do to him what she did to his family. And he should. He'd lost her once before. He wouldn't lose her again.

"You have to use the pain and the fear. Draw from me. Take from me. bloom… you have to. It's the only way." said kylo

"What happens after two weeks?" asked bloom

"I don't know." Said kylo

"What happens if I pass the test?" asked bloom

"I don't know." Said kylo

Meanwhile with hux and snoke

Hux made his way to go and speak to the supreme leader. He wanted nothing more than to have bloom as his own. And he knew the supreme leader would give it to him. Yes, he knew she was a royal fairy from the start. But he didn't think kylo ren of all things should have such a prize and such a being in his possession. He would not even know what to do with her. but hux bowed slightly in deference to his superior. He was hoping this would work for getting what he wanted.

"Supreme Leader." Said hux

"General. Tell me of Kylo Ren and the girl." Said snoke

"They keep to themselves. However, it appears he is in love with the girl. Stormtroopers have noted he often has her hand in his. He also gets defensive when approached, almost as if he's shielding her." said hux

"As I suspected. You will be pleased to know I have issued an ultimatum. If the girl is not sufficiently Dark within two weeks, she is yours." Said snoke

"Sir?" asked hux

"You will take command of her training and mold her by any means necessary. You will destroy the bond between them. It's dangerous, the link between them. Much too dangerous." Said snoke

"Are you suggesting...?" asked hux

"The girl will befall a tragic accident. You will try to save her, but it will be too late." Said snoke

"And what of Ren?" asked hux

"Should he try and save her, he will be dealt with accordingly. The girl is your sole concern." Said snoke

Hux was feeling happy about this that snoke was giving him something he wanted. But he had a feeling there was more to all of this. Even though it was none of his business to even ask what was going on. but it seemed personal. But whatever he was going to get the woman of his dreams. He always wanted a fairy. But a royal fairy at that. but for now, he was going to have to plan this out as much as he was able to do so. He needed to make it perfect. He wanted her so badly. He left to go and relieve himself since he has a massive boner.

Meanwhile a few hours later

The pain in her hand was nothing compared to the pain she felt in her heart. The pain at knowing she caused Ben to turn to the Dark Side. That she was the reason behind Kylo Ren. And knowing now that Jakku shouldn't have happened. That she wasn't meant to be alone. Ben had wanted her. He wanted to come back for her. He hadn't left her. He tried to protect her. Now she had to protect him. Protect them both. He was right; she had to embrace the Dark Side. It was the only way to save them both. bloom would save them both. She had to save them. For the boy who once gave up everything to save a girl.

He was talking to himself again. To air. He looked so sad, so hurt, so lonely. She crawled closer, watching him. She knew it was wrong to spy on him, but she couldn't help it. Ben was always quiet; withdrawn.

"Yes, Master," said ben

she heard him say before lowering his head. She frowned from her hiding spot. Master Luke wasn't nearby. He was teaching in the temple. She knew because she'd snuck away to find Ben. He turned, his shoulders hunched.

"Kid, I know you're there," said ben

She shuffled out slowly and watched him sigh. He looked tired now.

"Who you talking to?" asked rose

"No one."said ben

"Is Master Luke in your head?" asked rose

"Why would you ask that?" asked ben

"You said 'Master'." Said rose

"You misheard me, don't worry so much, rose." Said ben

"You're sad again." Said rose

"Don't worry about me. Why aren't you in your lesson?" asked ben

"Meditation is no fun." Said rose

"Patience. You can meditate. It's easy. I'll show you." said ben

"Okay, Master Ben!" said rose

she said happily, sitting crossed-legged in the dirt before him. He shook his head, but she saw the slight smile.

The sad boy was now the worried man sitting before her. The boy who sold his soul to the Dark Side. She touched the face of the man, still seeing the boy in him. She would always see Ben when she looked at Kylo Ren, the same as he still saw rose when he looked at her. He was both Ben and Ren.

"We'll find a way, won't we? To stay together? Even on the Dark Side?" asked bloom

"I spent fourteen years believing you were dead. That you were lost to me. I felt you die through the Force that night. I blamed myself. My weakness. Then, I had dreams of a girl surrounded by sand, all alone, but I never saw her face. I never saw you. Then they tell me that a girl on Jakku has been seen with the droid we needed. And I knew the girl in my dreams was real. But it was on Takodana that I knew…I suspected it was you. That you were alive, somehow, you were alive." said kylo

"You felt me die?" asked bloom

"There was a great disturbance in the Force while I was leaving. I suspect it has to do with the barrier in your mind." said kylo

"It's still there. I don't remember much before you." said bloom

"You'll remember. In time." Said kylo

"I'm more worried about losing you." said bloom

"I won't lose you, bloom. I'll train you. We still have time. You just have to embrace the Dark Side." Said kylo

Bloom smiled and knew that he spoke the truth. But she had been through so many things that involved this and she knew how they normally ended. But there was not much they were able to do. there was only so much they could do. but it was not going to stop her planning out what she was going to do to snoke. She needed to end him. and she will be dammed that she would lose to him either.

Meanwhile a few hours later

He barely saw her flinch once she started. Unlike his lightsaber, hers balanced better with two hands. While steps had been taken to promote rapid healing, she still had five broken bones in her dominant hand. He'd offered her his saber and she waved it off in favor of her own. Ren watched her channel the pain into power. She used her fear of losing him and she was glorious. The 'troopers he'd requested attacked her in varying numbers and different formations, requiring her to constantly change her tactics. What worked for one squad rarely worked for the next. And she adapted.

A few of the 'troopers carried blasters, but most carried the anti-riot batons. The batons were designed to deflect sabers, which meant Rey had to focus on disarming her opponent. She could flick away blaster bolts with ease now, taking direction from him and picking up the skill almost immediately. Only one bolt singed her dark robes. He saw her use the Force to rip a weapon from one 'trooper's hand while using her saber against another. Outnumbered, but not overpowered, she beat back the group of 'troopers, her teeth bared. All he could feel from her in these moments was sheer darkness. Consuming.

Then he saw her saber slash through armor. And he knew, he knew in that moment, that he'd pushed her too far. She'd gone too far. She was like him now. The Dark outweighed the Light inside her. She would belong to the Dark Side soon. There was no doubt in his mind. She would kill Plutt, gut him easily, and feel nothing. No remorse. She wouldn't feel the turmoil he felt for killing Han Solo. bloom was stronger than him. On the Dark Side, she'd be unstoppable. Together, they could overthrow Snoke. He took the dangerous thought and buried it deep.

Meanwhile a few hours later

While bloom scrubbed the blood from her hands, he went to the audience chamber. He needed to say this, this was going to save their asses. She just needed to do it. snoke wanted to know what kylo ren wanted. And it better be good. He was in the middle of something. Plotting out something. But for now, he was going to hear him out. and see what he had come here to tell him.

"Supreme Leader, I know how to prove her loyalty… how to completely sway her to the Dark," said kylo

"Tell me, Kylo Ren." Said snoke

"Her life on Jakku was full of pain and loneliness. One creature kept her chained. He starved her, forced her to fight to survive, that also means other things I wish not to say. and kept her prisoner on that planet. I want her to kill Unkar Plutt." Said kylo

"You want me to allow you both to land on her former planet as a test?" asked snoke

"I want to let her anger and hatred from the past fourteen years overwhelm her. This is the best place to push her." said kylo

"And for you to run." Said kylo

"Supreme Leader, that is not my intention. I understand if you deny my request—" said kylo

"Kylo Ren, in twelve days you, the girl, and a force of my choosing will go to Jakku. Should either of you attempt to run, you will be executed. Do you understand?" said snoke

"Yes, Master." Said kylo

"You cannot save her from the Dark Side. If you try, the girl will die. Do not test me. You will not win." Said snoke

"I understand." Said kylo

"Good. Twelve days." Said snoke

Snoke disappeared. Kylo groaned this was not going as he was planning. But then again there was not much for him to even go on. but he knew he needed to prepare bloom for what is to come. And he has the time to do it. But for now, he was going to go and think on things before heading to where bloom in. while she was the thing that keeps him going. and the love of her with him. He had been waiting for so long to have her back with him. and he would be dammed to lose her.

Meanwhile a little while later

Warm. Safe. Ben. bloom burrowed deeper, rubbing her head against his chest. She heard a contented sigh from him. Happy. Then all hell broke loose. Hands were on her wrists as binders cut into the soft skin, and a collar around her her from the bed and him.

"kylo!" cried bloom

bloom screamed, kicking and fighting as the 'troopers pulled her away. She reached for the Force, throwing one of the men across the room. She heard a neck snap as they tried to get the other cuff on. As they tried to contain her. He woke up, startled and bewildered.

"bloom!" cried kylo

More hands held him back, officers struggling to subdue him enough to put binders on. She continued to kick her legs at her captors and use her free hand to call the Force. To fight for their freedom. A jolt of electricity to her lower back interrupted her focus long enough for the binders to click closed, her wrists effectively secured behind her back. Her connection to the Force muted.

"No! You can't take me! kylo! kylo! You can't do this!" cried bloom

Hux stepped into the fray with a sneer as she was dragged toward the open bedroom door. Four 'troopers held Ren on the other side of the room, his chest bare except for the scars that littered his pale skin and his hands in binders. His eyes were dark with hatred, his jaw clenched. She lunged at Hux, only to be pulled back by a fistful of hair.

"You!" hissed bloom

"Let her go! You can't do this... Not yet." Roared kylo

"The Supreme Leader's orders have changed. The girl is in my custody now. You are not to interfere," said hux

the ginger-haired man said in what could only be called a triumphant tone. Hux was thrilled to have the woman he wanted here and now. but he knew he would have to take time with her. she would not come to him the way he wanted. Plus she could burn him alive that is why there is a collar around her neck it was made for the fairies. Kylo growled and knew that he was screwed. His beloved is caught and now stuck with the bastard.

Meanwhile the night before

Nothing. No despair. No pain. No calm. No peace. Just… nothing. She watched the water run clear, the red blood turning a pink hue before disappearing completely down the drain of the refresher. Still bloom felt nothing for the life she'd taken. It was a matter of survival now. Just like back on Jakku. She was a survivor. They would survive this. Together. She dressed in clean robes, dark like the stain that was surely on her soul. She didn't care. Not about the clothes and not about the blood on her hands. As long it wasn't Kylo Ren's blood, she could handle it. She would handle it.

bloom wound a fresh strip around her damaged hand. The broken bones were healing remarkably fast, despite the long hours she spent training. Focusing on Ren helped her ignore the wound. She wasn't about to let a minor inconvenience derail them. Not when they were so close to a goal. Not when they were running out of time. The door opened and he stalked in. She felt his mood without meaning to. There was a familiar hiss and then a clunk as he set down the helmet. Gloved fingers ran through her wet hair, detangling the strands. Playing and twisting them.

"bloom," said kylo

"What did he say?" asked bloom

"We leave for Jakku in twelve days to kill Unkar Plutt. If either of us try to run…" said kylo

"We die." Said bloom

bloom turned to face him and saw those sad eyes. She wrapped her good arm around the back of his neck, pulling him down toward her. she wanted him so badly. But she knew there was other thing that needed to be discussed. But she loved him with everything she had inside of her. and she would do anything for him. just as long as they remain together.

"That won't happen." said kylo

bloom leaned up, closing the gap between them. Lips met lips and she felt him hesitate at first before returning her affections with a vengeance. His teeth sucked at her bottom lip, threatening to bite, and she didn't mind. In fact, a thrill raced up her spine at the thought. She had marked him before. Her fingers traced the scar across his face. He'd never marked her. Never hurt her.

"Mine. My bloom." Purred kylo

blooms fingers curled into the folds of his overcoat, pulling him closer. He wore so many layers. So much fabric. He responded, guiding her back to the bed. He turned her around, falling back onto the soft bed himself before tugging her down. She found herself straddling his hips. His gloved hand stroking her cheek. She turned her head, using her teeth to peel the leather off. She wanted to feel his skin against her own.

"kylo," said bloom

"You're so beautiful." Purred kylo

bloom trembling as his bare hand pushed her robe off her shoulders, revealing the tunic underneath. Her clothing was more reminiscent of their former Master's than of her own. She felt a blush creep across her cheeks as she undid the wide belt around his waist. As it fell open, she pushed his overcoat off, feeling his fingers unbelting her own robe. The chilled air cut through her tunic, but Rey didn't notice. She brushed the suspenders off his shoulders with the Force, feeling impatient. So many layers. So much between them. He laughed, pulling her closer, using her tunic. His lips claimed hers as his bare hand slipped up her back under the shirt. bloom felt her hips grind against him involuntarily. He groaned then, rolling them across the bed to put her back on the bed. He pinned her wrists up near the pillows as he yanked her top off, leaving her naked from the waist up except for a band across her breasts.

"bloom," purred kylo

Kylo purred in pleasure, like a prayer, his eyes roving, no longer sad. It was as if he were memorizing the way she looked underneath him. As if he'd never seen anything nearly as fascinating in his entire life. There was an aching between her legs. She wanted him. Needed him. He kissed down her throat and she moaned, her hips rising to brush against him. Against the bulge in his trousers. He stifled a groan, his teeth grazing her skin. She knew what he needed. She could feel it across the bond. It was overwhelming, the connection between them. She palmed him through his pants and he stiffened above her.

He looked down at those hazel eyes. So innocent, his scavenger. And here he was going to ruin her. He'd corrupted her already. She was part of the Dark now. It grew in her with every passing moment. There was still Light in her, lurking under the surface. But she was more like him now than she'd ever been before. She wanted him. She trusted him. He felt the need plainly. And he wanted to bury himself inside her. To take until she couldn't give anymore. To make her scream his name. To look down at her, spent and exhausted, knowing that no matter what, no one else would ever share what they did. He would ruin her for other men. The bond would see to that. They would be further entwined. It would hurt her. And she was a bit nervous, but not scared. Not of him. But her hand, that small, tentative hand, as she touched him, still separated by clothes, drove him crazy. His bloom. Curious little scavenger. The little girl who spied on him, who pulled his robes and his ears.

"bloom," purred kylo

"Kylo." Purred bloom

"bloom… stars, bloom…" moaned kylo

blooms little hand found him and he thought he was going to black out from pleasure right then. From her hand. His bloom. He kissed her then, feeling something he hadn't in a long time. Peace. Calm. bloom. He groaned into her neck. He undid the tie of her pants, pulling them down over her hips as she continued to touch him. She lifted them, helping him. They didn't need words… the bond between them did the talking for them. An unspoken need. He peeled his shirt off which caused her to pause. Her hands touched his chest, her fingers ghosting old, healed wounds. The saber burns on his shoulder. The mark left from the bowcaster. Older, much older scars. Snoke and his training. She touched each one, wondering through the bond about the cause, which he supplied as best he could. When she heard Snoke, he felt her tense, and felt the anger in her.

"bloom," moaned kylo

She locked eyes with him, and the anger faded. He kissed her again, pressing her back into the bed, moving closer to her. He nudged her legs further apart as he slipped out of his trousers and undergarments. His fairy. His bloom.

"So beautiful," purred kylo

Kylo was touching her face, her pert breasts. She shifted under him, tension building between her legs. She needed him. Wanted him. He captured her lips again. Her nails on his back, digging, scratching, as he eased inside her. The sudden shock of pain as her body stretched to accommodate him. The change in her breathing. Her gasps. He knew to move slow even though his body wanted more. He wanted more. Hard. Fast. Rough. Her screaming, moaning, writhing. But not now. Not yet. There'd be time for that. Later. Her hips moved with him, finding an easy rhythm. She made little sounds under him, her body begging for more. He obliged, pushing deeper inside her with each thrust. He wouldn't last long, not even at this slow pace. Not with bloom. He found the nub between her legs, the center of her tension, and rubbed furiously. bloom bucked her hips in response, demanding more.

"kylo!" moaned bloom

bloom clamped down on him, losing herself to a wave of pleasure. Starry-eyed, he lost a bit of control, his hands on her hips as he drove himself into her at a dizzying pace. She cried out his name again, her body tensing against his as his own release hit. He buried his face against her neck, screaming her name,

"bloom, bloom, bloom!" moaned kylo

kylo spilled inside her, buried deep. Her fingers curled into his hair, dragging his face up to hers, those eyes, her beautiful eyes, wet with tears as her body trembled. Overwhelmed. He hovered over her, his body shaking as well. Sensations and pleasure. Sore. Sated. Sleepy. Happy. Ren picked her up. Rey locked her arms around his neck, her legs around his waist. He carried the exhausted girl into the 'fresher. He cleaned them both up and kissed the bruises his hands left on her hips. She leaned on him heavily, her fingers playing with his hair idly when he was within reach. He tugged a loose tunic over her and carried her back to bed. She was mostly asleep, the bond between them humming with happy thoughts. Pleasure. Peace. Calm. Love.

kylo tucked her in before pulling on a pair of pants. He wanted more. He craved more. She wanted more, too. He could feel it. But he knew she hurt. She was sore and overwhelmed. Her body needed time to adjust. He kissed her cheek as she curled up against him, her eyes already closed. He put an arm around her, pulling her close. She fit against him perfectly, his bloom. Beautiful and his. No one would ever take her away from him. He'd kill them first.
