From now on, I'm not writing out chapters by hand before typing them down. There's only going to be one draft.

Shadow smiled at Buddha as he saw him grab his arm. "What's the matter, Buddha… Don't tell me that you're giving up now!"

Buddha glares at Shadow. "Heh… I gotta hand it to you, man… I don't know exactly how you got your powers, but that was very creative. Using it against me like that.

Tell me something… What do you plan to do once you've achieved godhood? I'm genuinely curious."

"I still have goals to achieve when I get back home." Said Shadow. "Godhood will just make things more interesting for me. The Cult of Diabolos will crumble under the might of the new God of Darkness… Erebus."

Buddha raises an eyebrow. Erebus? He's heard of that name before but he couldn't bring himself to remember where. "So that's what you're gonna call yourself, huh? Well this fight's not over yet. I still have one more ace up my sleeve."

Buddha's sword began to start glowing. This time, it has transformed itself into a new weapon.

"Six Realms Staff, First Realm: Lokapala, The Twelve Deva Axe!"

Shadow's grin only grew wider. "Oh, this is going to be fun."

Even without his ability to predict Shadow's movements, Buddha was still more than able to hold his own against him. Shadow, however, knew more than enough about the fighting style of the pikeaxe. As the two of them continued fighting, he just couldn't deny it anymore: He was starting to get bored.

"I can't land a hit on this guy." Buddha thought to himself. "I hate to admit it, but Zeus really does know how to pick 'em."

Shadow blocks Buddha's attack with his sword and proceeds to kick him away.

Seeing his opponent on the ground, he lets out a sigh. "I've meant what I said before, friend. You truly are great. It's not your fault you're losing. Let me show you… just how mismatched this fight is…"

Buddha's weapon began to glow again. This time taking the form of a massive shield.

"Six Realms Staff, Fourth Realm: Ahimsa, the Everlasting Shield!"

"This fight's gone on long enough, Buddha!" Shouts Shadow. The atmosphere around him is getting darker. Although one can also note that the color purple is also present.

"You may be a god… but I am something much more!" Shadow raises his sword in the air. Buddha braces himself for what's coming. "I… am… Atomic."

Watching the fight, Brunhilde, Goll, and Maya couldn't believe what they were seeing. The same can be said for the gods. "HAHAHA!" Zeus laughs aloud. "And with this, the Gods have finally taken the lead! The humans really have put up a good fight, but in the end, it is their own thirst for power that led to their downfall! Let this be a lesson to all of you! Stay in your place… or face the consequences!"

He then looks down to see Buddha. Still alive but just barely standing up. Apparently Shadow's ultimate attack had to be toned down a bit. The tournament's not over yet and he'll be in for quite a show before officially receiving godhood.

Sword still in hand, Shadow walked past fragments of Buddha's weapon. Intending to end this fight as humbly as he could.

As he was walking towards him, Shadow kept talking. "I will make sure you are remembered… as a wise leader… a talented fighter… and the finest man I have ever had the privilege to know."

He never took his eyes off of Buddha, however Shadow was caught off guard at something that appeared out of nowhere nearly out of his sight.

"Wait, what is this!?" Heimdall yells. "It… It would appear that some… THING has entered the arena!"

Shadow and Buddha could only describe this thing as a human-like shape of nothing but darkness. But darkness truly doesn't have a form. So it's more like a walking paradox. One with crimson red eyes. Only the tiniest amount of white is seen.

Zeus drops the cup of tea he was holding as he stares in shock. "It… It… It can't be…"

Hermes looks at him. "Why are you… afraid? Just who is he?"

Brunhilde crosses her arms. "Wait a second… That wouldn't be…"

The dark figure looks directly at Shadow. Who at this point is standing still. It then utters a single word. One that Shadow understands far too well. "...Pretender…"

It was then that the figure disappeared and then reappeared in front of Shadow.

0.00000001 Seconds.

It all happened so fast. Shadow just couldn't see it coming. As he was entirely outmatched by the dark figure. In a fraction of a fraction of an instant, his body imploded. It didn't matter in the slightest that he was wearing the Slime Bodysuit. His body was torn apart at the cellular level. He died before he could process what was happening.

Buddha could only stare with his mouth hanging open. "What… what are you?" He then meets the gaze of the figure. He can't read its emotions, but it doesn't seem hostile towards him.

He then heard a loud voice from across the arena. "EREBUS-SAMA!"

It was Zeus. Looking more frightened by the second. It all made sense now. Shadow wanted to rule his world under the name of Erebus and the real God of Darkness doesn't approve of that.

"Erebus?" Said Brunhilde. "The Primordial God of Darkness? Husband of Nyx? THAT Erebus?"

Goll looks at her. "Huh? Who… is Erebus?"

Erebus looks up at Zeus. Who is visibly shaken with fear. After what felt like an eternity to Zeus, Erebus vanishes from the arena. Every bit as quickly as he entered.

Buddha then looks down at his body. "I'm… I'm back to normal. It's like I've never been hit." Erebus took his leave, but not before healing Buddha on his way out.

Breathing out a sigh of relief, Zeus sank in his chair. "Number One Rule: Don't do anything that'll anger the Primordial Family. They'll never let you get away with it. Especially Erebus' wife. I do NOT want to ever see her again."

Receiving orders through his magic communicator, Heimdall announces.

"Folks, due to the unforeseen events that just happened, it has been decided that Buddha wins Round Seven by default!"
