Author's note.
Been a while, hasn't it? Either way, things are gonna be fun. We may even see M.O.N duel in upcoming chapters and a few surprise guests along the way. Also, the link Monsters that are in the 'Prank-Kids' archetype will be changed for fusion monsters because Links didn't exist in the GX era. I also plan to have a book called 'Monster Musume GX Off School Grounds'. This series will revolve around the lives of characters when they're not on Academy Island. Trust me, THAT is gonna be interesting to see. So, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
Chapter 27
The Joke is on you
? POV.
You think being a Zombie would be awesome, right? Not dying, not ageing? WRONG! Try waking up with a body so stiff you can't even move unless you do stretches the night before or having to stitch yourself together when your body falls apart, UGH! It's the worst. First I was part of a task force and now I'm working at a school to teach children how to play card games. What even is my life? What is the life of Zombina. And OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH boy, THIS is just going to make my head spin.

Zombina groaned as she got out of bed, only earring a black tank top and a pair of yellow panties and walked over to the mirror in her room.
'Okay, there is some SERIOUS freaky shit going on here', thought Zombina as she checked her stitches. 'First I get sent to Duel Academy island, then I find out that J.J is a student here AND a host, then a spirit shows up. Ugh, it's a good thing my hair can't go grey, otherwise I'd be-". She then heard the sound of giggling. She then turned away from the mirror and looked to see where it was coming from.
"Who's there?" She demanded. The giggling then came again.
"That better not be you, Doppel" said Zombina. The giggling then stopped.
"Ugh, I knew eating Fonda's shrimp was a bad idea", groaned Zombina. "Just because it's still sealed doesn't mean it'll still be good after it expires". After getting dressed, Zombina was walking through the halls when Professor Banner came out.
"Uh, Zombina", said Professor Banner. "Could you do me a favour?". Zombina raised an eyebrow to this.
"Yeah, what do you need?" Asked Zombina.
"Glue remover" answered Banner.
"Why glue remover?" Asked Zombina.
"Someone put Super glue on Syrus' chair" answered Banner. Zombina's eyes widened and looked into the classroom to see several students trying to pull Syrus off of a chair.
"How the hell?" Asked Zombina.
"So, uh, that glue remover" said Banner.
"Oh, right" said Zombina before running off.
Later on, they finally managed to get Syrus off of the chair with the glue remover.
"That was NOT a good experience" said Syrus.
"How did any of us NOT see that?" Asked Jaden. There was soon a rumbling sound from the bathroom.
"What was that?" Asked Jaden.
"It came from the bathroom" answered Syrus. The door then shook and a large stream of water came out and slammed into the wall. They then realised that there was someone in the stream.
"Hey, that's Augustus" said Jaden.
"Get me out of this!" Shouted Augustus. Jaden and Syrus then grabbed onto one of Augustus' arms and pulled him out.
"You okay?" Asked Jaden.
"What happened?" Asked Syrus.
"I was heading to wash my hands when the tap shot off and I get splashed by that water" answered Augustus.
"First me being glued to the chair an now this?", asked Syrus. "What's going on here?". Jaden then heard giggling and could've sworn he saw a tiny, blue creature, but it was gone.
"Huh, what was that?" Said Jaden.
"What was what?" Asked Syrus. Jaden then looked at Syrus.
"I thought I heard something" answered Jaden. They were unaware however, that Zombina was watching them.
'Okay', she thought. 'So either I'm not crazy, or Jaden's losing his mind too'.
Later on, Bastion was in the library, when he heard giggling.
"Huh, who's there?" He asked. No one replied, the giggling then came again.
"That better not be you, ShiiShii", said Bastion. "This ain't funny, damn it". A book then fell off the shelf. Bastion went to put it back, when he heard the sounds of foot steps.
"H-h-hello?" Bastion asked. He then looked down one of the isles and saw someone. She looked to be the size of a child, but Bastion couldn't see her face from underneath her hood.
"Who are you?" Asked Bastion. The child giggled before running off.
"Hey!", shouted Bastion. "Who are-". Bastion didn't get to finish as he was soon, he was soon pulled up into the air and was now hanging upside down.
"HEY! GET ME DOWN!" Shouted Bastion. He heard the sound of foot steps again, this time, they belonged to Jaden, Syrus, Banner and Augustus.
"Bastion?", asked Jaden. "What are you doing up there?".
"At the moment", answered Bastion. "Listen to the blood rushing to my head".
"Hold on Bastion, we'll get you down" said Banner. As they were trying this, Jaden heard the sound of giggling again.
'There's that giggling again' thought Jaden. He then thought he saw something float by him.
'Okay, that was freaky' thought Jaden.
The next morning, Jaden and the others were fast asleep, but they were woken up by the sound of pans clanging.
"What the hell was that?" Asked Jaden as he woke up. They went to the kitchen to find Professor Banner trying to catch Pharaoh.
"What happened here?" Asked Syrus.
"Pharaoh started to act like he drunk my Champagne" said Banner. Zombina then looked a Pharaoh's food.
"Champagne nothing", said Zombina. "This cat food is laced with Catnip".
"That explains it" said Banner. Zombina then heard a giggle, only for it to disappear.
'This is beyond freaky now' thought Zombina.
Later that day, Zombina was walking through the halls, thinking about all the things that had happened recently.
"Well, this is a total crap fest", said Zombina. "Who keeps pulling all these pranks? If this keeps up, someone could get hurt and-". She then heard the sound of screaming coming from the gym.
"What now?" Asked Zombina. She ran to the gym, opened the door and saw several students slipping on the floor.
"What the fuck did I just walk into?" Asked Zombina.
"Somebody Waaaaaaaxed the flooooooors" said a student.
"Yeah a little too much" added another. Jaden then came walking in.
"Hey", said Jaden. "What's going on h-".
"Don't go any further" said Zombina putting her hand out in front of Jaden.
"What happened here?" Asked Jaden.
"Somebody waxed the floor and turned it into a skating rink" answered Zombina. The sound of giggling was then heard.
"There's that laugh again" Jaden and Zombina said. They heard the giggling again and looked up to see-.
"That's the same girl I saw in Library" said Bastion before falling on his ass.
"Hey! Stop right there!" Shouted Zombina. She and Jaden then ran up into the bleacher.
"Uh-oh" the girl said nervously. She then ran off.
"After her", shouted Jaden. "She can't get away". They ran after her. They were soon entering the hallways.
"I wonder who that is?" Asked Jaden.
"I don't know", answered Zombina. "But she seems familiar". They eventually chased her into a dark room.
"Grab her!" Shouted Jaden. After some cartoonish sound effects, everything went quiet.
"Why do I feel something squishy in my hands?" Wondered Jaden. The lights then came on, Jaden then saw that the 'something squishy' was Zombina's breasts. Jaden's face turned red and he scurried back.
"S-s-s-s-s-Sorry Zombina" said Jaden.
"It's fine", said Zombina getting up. "Now where is that girl?". The giggling then came again.
"There she is!" Shouted Jaden and they ran off. The girl hid behind a corner and thought she was safe, until she felt something grab at her jacket. Zombina and Jaden had caught her and she was now being hoisted up by Zombina.
"Alright then", said Zombina grabbing the hood of the girl's jacket. "Let's see who you are". She then pulled the hood back, revealing blue hair and tanned skin.
"Oh, fuck", said Zombina. "Not you".
"You know her?" Asked Jaden.
"This is Lilith", answered Zombina. "She, more often then not, causes trouble for her host family".
"Hey! Let me go!" Shouted Lilith as she squirmed in Zombina's grasp. As she struggled, something fell out of her pockets. Jaden looked down to see that they were duel monsters cards.
"You're a duelist?" Asked Jaden. Lilith then snatched the cards from his hand.
"Yes I am", said Lilith. "And keep your hands off my friends". Jaden was a bit confused by this.
"Now, can you let me go?" Asked Lilith.
"No", answered Zombina. "I'm taking you in".
"No way", said Lilith as she unzipped her jacket. "Toodloo!". She then slipped out of her jacket and ran off. Zombina then ran after her and tackled her. After a few minutes of struggling, Jaden had enough.
"HEY!", he shouted, getting their attention. "Instead of fighting like this, why not duel for it?".
"Duel for it?" Asked Lilith.
"Yeah", answered Jaden. "You vs Zombina".
"I'm down for it", said Zombina. "I win, you come with me back to the office".
"Fine", said Lilith. "But if I win, I get to go free and you have to say I got away".
"That's fine by me", said Zombina as she turned on her duel disk. "Hope you're ready to lose?".
"Ha, that's funny", said Lilith as she turned on her duel disk. "I was gonna say the same thing to you".
"GAME ON!".

"I'll go first", said Zombina drawing the top card of her deck. "I play the spell card, Hand Destruction. Now, each of us discard 2 cards from our hands and then draw two cards from our decks". The two of them then discarded and then drew.
"Next, I summon Vendread Striges in defence mode" said Zombina. Her new monster was a robin with four beaks on it's body, spikes on it's wings and glowing blue eyes.

"About time", said Lilith drawing the top card of her deck. "First, I summon Prank Kids Dropsies in attack mode". Her monster was a small blue creature with blue overalls, white gloves and orange shades with water for hair.

"Next", said Lilith. "I play the spell card, Reload. Now, I can put all my cards back into my deck, shuffle them up and redraw". She then redrew her hand.
"Next, I play the spell card, Risky Loot", said Lilith. "Now, I get to send a card from my hand to the graveyard. Then, I get to look at the top card of my deck and if it's the same type as the one I discard, I can add it to my hand. So, I discard a spell card". She then looked at the top card of her deck and smiled.
"Oh, look at that", she said. "Another spell card. Which I activate now, Double Summon. Now, I get to conduct a second normal summon this turn. So, I summon, Prank Kids Lampsies". Her new monster was a small creature with pink skin wearing a burgundy jacket and pants, orange glasses and had a head of firey hair.

"You summoned two monsters that look extremely pathetic", said Zombina. "Not impressed".
"Who said I was finished?", asked Lilith with a smirk. "I activate, Polymerisation".
"You're fusion summoning?" Asked Zombina.
"You better believe it, and I'm gonna fuse Dropsies with Lampsies", said Lilith performing the summon. "I summon, Prank Kids Bow Wow Bark". Her new monster was a red two headed dog with cartoonish faces.

"Gugh, creepy dog" said Jaden.
'What's the big deal?', thought Zombina. 'That mutt isn't strong enough to destroy my Striges'.
"Now for another spell, Stop Defence", said Lilith. "Uh, it, it does what the name implies". Zombina's monster was then changed to attack mode.
"That can't be good" said Zombina.
"Bow Wow Bark! Attack her freaky bird!", shouted Lilith. "Barking Burner!". Bow Wow Bark then released a stream of fire from it's mouths and destroyed Striges.
Zombina: 4000 - 1500 = 2500
"I activate Striges' effect", said Zombina. "Now, I get to reveal a 'Vendread' monster in my hand, to summon Striges back from the graveyard. So, I reveal Revenants, to bring Striges back". Her monster then returned.
"I'll place this card facedown and end my turn" said Lilith.
"My turn then", said Zombina drawing the top card of her deck. "I summon Vendread Revenants, in attack mode". Her new monster was a male zombie with glowing, blue eyes and one of it's hands was incredibly large and gangly.

"Oooooh, you summoned two rotting corpses that are weaker than mine", mocked Lilith. "You didn't think this through, did you?". Zombina smirked.
"Who says they were gonna battle?", asked Zombina. "I activate the Ritual spell, Revendread Origin".
"A Ritual spell?" Asked Jaden.
"Exactly", answered Zombina. "Now, I tribute both Striges and Revenants". Both of her monsters then sank into the ground.
"Now it's time to bring the action to this duel", said Zombina as a black and purple portal opened up and black mist erupted out. "I ritual summon! Revendread Slayer!". The mist then formed into a human shape, eventually fading to reveal the monster underneath. It was a tall, semi-muscular man with blue and yellow skin, leather straps on his legs, red eyes, black flame hair and bone blades coming out of his body.

"Now THAT'S a monster" said Jaden.
"Slayer! Attack Bow Wow Bark!" Shouted Zombina. Revendread Slayer charged forward and slashed his bone blades across Bow-wow-Bark, destroying him.
Lilith: 4000 - 400 = 3600
"Nice job Zombina" cheered Jaden.
"I'll end my turn for now" said Zombina.
"Then it's my turn", said Lilith drawing the top card of her deck. "I play the spell, Fusion Recovery. Now, I get to return a monster and Polymerisation from my deck to my hand. Next, I'll play Polymerisation again. This time, I'll fuse Fansies with Lampsies. I'll fusion summon, Prank-Kids Rocket Ride!". Her new monster was a red and white rocket ship with rubber hose arms and a cartoonish face.

"Next, I play Rocket Ride's effect", said Lilith. "I can reduce it's attack by 1000, and it can attack you directly".
"It can what?!" Shouted Zombina.

"Now attack!", shouted Lilith. "Rambunctious Ramming!". Rocket Ride then took off and headed straight for Zombina.
"No you don't, I play my trap, Vendread Stare", said Zombina. "Now, I get sent a 'Vendread' monster from my hand to the graveyard to negate any battle this turn. So, I send another of my Vendread Striges, to negate this battle phase". Revendread Slayer then released a menacing stare that made Rocket Ride scared and turn around.
"Hey! No fair!" Shouted Lilith.
"Oh, it's quite fair", said Zombina drawing the top card of her deck. "Slayer! Attack Rocket Ride!". Slayer then ran forward and slashed at Rocket Ride, destroying it.
Lilith: 3600 - 1400 = 2200
"Now you've done it", said Lilith. "I activate my trap card, backfire explosion. When ever I take damage from battle or card effect, you take the same damage I took".
Zombina: 4000 - 1400 = 2600
"Damn", groaned Zombina. "Okay then, I summon Vendread Houndhorde in defence mode". Her new monster was a mutant deformed hound with teeth on his ears.

"I'll play Pot of Greed", said Zombina drawing the top two cards of her deck. "I'll end my turn".
"My turn again", said Lilith drawing the top card of her deck. "First, is monster reborn to summon Rocket Ride back. Next, I activate Rocket Ride's second effect, I can tribute him, to special summon two 'Prank-Kids' monsters from my graveyard.
"You can what?!" Shouted Zombina.
"You heard me", said Lilith. "I tribute Rocket Ride, to summon Lampsies and Dropsies". Her rocket disappeared and it was replaced by her two monsters.
"Next, I play Fusion Sage", said Lilith. "Now I can add Polymerisation from my deck to my hand". A card then popped out of her deck and she added it to her hand.
"In fact, I'll play that Polymerisation right now, to fuse my Dropsies and Lampsies again", said Lilith performing the summon. "Say hello to Prank-Kids Weather Washer". Her new monster was a large, mechanical water machine with cartoony robot arms and orange shades.

"Your monster's still weaker either of mine", said Zombina. "So, you'll just be sending it on a suicide mission".
"That's what you think", said Lilith. "I activate the spell, Prank-Kids Tantrum. Now, whenever I attack with a 'Prank-Kids' fusion monster, that monster gains 1000 attack points until the end of the turn".
"Uh-oh" said Jaden.
Prank-Kids Weather Washer
ATK: 2000 + 1000 = 3000
"And here's my Washer's effect", said Lilith. "When he attacks, you can't activate any card effects until after you've been dealt the damage".
"Shit" cursed Zombina.
"Now, attack her Slayer!", shouted Lilith. "Wicked Water Washout!". Weather Washer then shot water from it's head and destroyed Slayer.
Zombina: 2500 - 600 = 1900
"Next, I'll set this facedown and end my turn" said Lilith.
"Come on, Zombina", cheered Jaden. "You can do this".
"Thanks, J.J. My turn now", said Zombina drawing the top card of her deck. "I play Necro Greed. Now, since I've got two or more Zombie monsters in my graveyard, I can draw 2 more cards from my deck". She then drew the top 2 cards of her deck.
"Next, I play the spell, Vendread Charge", said Zombina. "Now, I can send one monster from my hand or field to the graveyard and I can special summon a 'Vendread' monster from my deck. So, I send another copy of Striges, to summon Vendread Anima". Her new monster was a woman with a body made of fabric that was starting to unravel and she had a wing in place of one of her arms.

"Next, comes Strige's effect", said Zombina. "Now, if I reveal a 'Vendread' monster in my hand, like my second copy of Revenants, it can special summon itself". Her monster appeared on her field.
"Next, I summon my second copy of Revenants" said Zombina. Her monster then appeared on her field.
"Now, I play the Ritual spell, Vendread Origin", said Zombina. "Now, I can tribute all the monsters I need to summon a 'Vendread' ritual monster".
"You're gonna do THAT again?", asked Lilith. "Didn't you already see me beat your last ritual monster?". Zombina's monsters then disappeared.
"I did, and this time, you won't", said Zombina. "I ritual summon, Vendread Battlelord". Her new monster was a muscular monster made up of flesh and bone and had large sword.
Vendread Battlelord

"Like that's gonna work", said Lilith. "Especially with Tantrum on the field".
"Not if I activate one of Battlelord's special ability", said Zombina. "I can remove a 'Vendread' monster in my graveyard I can declare one card type and cards of that type CAN'T be activated".
"What?!" Shouted Lilith.
"So, I remove my first copy of Revenants from play", said Zombina. "To shut down ALL spell cards". Lilith's spell card then turned grey.
"Now, Battlelord!", shouted Zombina. "Attack her Weather Washer with Sinister Sword Marrow!". Battlelord then sliced Weather Washer in half, destroying it.
Lilith: 2200 - 700 = 1500
"I'll end my turn" said Zombina.
"She's almost done it", said Jaden. "Just 1500 more life points left".
"It's my turn now", said Lilith drawing the top card of her deck. "I activate Card of Demise. It lets me draw into I'm holding 5 cards in my hand. But, after 5 turns, I discard my entire hand". She then drew until she had 5 cards in her hand.
"Next, I play the spell card, monster reborn", said Lilith. "To bring Dropsies back from the graveyard". Her monster then appeared on her field.
"Next, is my facedown card, Call of the Haunted", said Lilith. "So, welcome back, Lampsies". Her monster then returned to the field.
"Finally, I summon Prank-Kids Fansies, in attack mode" said Lilith. Her new monster was a little green creature wearing a green outfit with orange shades and wispy green hair.
Prank-Kids Fansies

"And now for the big pay off, I activate, Prank-Kids Pandaemonium", said Lilith. "Now, I can fuse 'Prank-Kids' monsters on my field to fusion summon. So, I fuse Dropsies, Lampsies and Fansies". Her monsters then chuckled as they started to swirl together.
"Hope you don't mind the sound of vacuums, because this monster is here to clean house", said Lilith. "I fusion summon! Prank-Kids Battle Butler!". Her new monster was a larger purple creature with four arms, carrying a frying pan, a fork, a spoon and a vacuum cleaner, wore orange shades and had a deranged look on it's face.
Prank-Kids Battle Butler

"Oh shit, shit shit shit shit shit" cursed Zombina.
"Now, let's clean this place up", said Lilith. "Battle Butler! Attack her Battlelord! Vacuum Whirlwind!". Battle Butler began to spin around Tasmanian Devil style and hit Battlelord, destroying him.
Zombina: 1900 - 300 = 1600
"Oh no", said Jaden. "She's almost out of LifePoints".
"I'll end my turn for now", said Lilith. "You might as well throw in the towel, my Battle Butler can destroy anyone of your monsters in battle and a whole bunch of them if I tribute him. Face it, you've lost".
"As long as I still have life points, I'll keep playing", said Zombina. "Now, I draw". She then drew the top card of her deck. When she saw what she drew, she smiled.
"I activate, Spared Sacrifice", said Zombina. "Now, I can remove one Ritual monster in my graveyard from play, to special summon monster from my graveyard who's total levels match that of the ritual monster. So, I banish Slayer, to summon Revenants and Striges". Her two monsters then appeared on the field.
"Next, I activate MY monster reborn", said Zombina. "Now, I can summon Houndhorde back". Her monster then appeared on the field.
"Now, I summon Vendread Core, in attack mode" said Zombina. Her new monster was a glowing core with flesh forming around it.
Vendread Core

"Oh look, four monsters mine can easily squash", mocked Lilith. "Tell me, you plan on surrendering next".
"Not by a long shot", said Zombina. "Because now, I activate Feral Vendread. Now, I get to ritual summon a 'Vendread' monster using monsters I have on my field. So, I use Revenants, Core, Houndhorde and Striges". Her monsters then disappear as a black mist envelopes the ground.
"This is starting to get freaky" said Jaden.
"I ritual summon!", shouted Zombina. "Avendread Eradicator". The black mist the formed into a humanoid shape. When the mist faded, her monster was revealed. He was a semi-muscular man wearing a purple suit that was complimented by bone armour such as skull knee, elbow and shoulder pads, rib cage arm and leg guards, bone spikes on the knuckles, two bone tendrils coming from it's back and large bone blades on his forearms.
Avendread Eradicator

Attribute: Dark
Type: Zombie
ATK: 3500
DEF: 0
"Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about" cheered Jaden. Lilith only laughed.
"Need I remind you that the difference between our monster's attack is only 500", said Lilith. "So, you wasted a move". Zombina smirked.
"But, I didn't", said Zombina. "You see, Eradicator has a VERY useful ability. When he's summoned using only zombie monsters, I can remove the some number of monsters in my graveyard from play, to reduce you monster's attack points by 300 for each one. So, that's 4 monsters and 1200 points lost".
Prank-Kids Battle Butler
ATK: 3000 - 1200 = 1800
"Now, AVENDREAD ERADICATOR!", shouted Zombina. "Attack Prank-Kids Battle Butler!". Her monster then charged forward and sliced Battle Butler in half, destroying him and creating a cloud of smoke.
Lilith: 1600 - 1700 = 0
The holograms then disappeared.
"Well, that's the end of that", said Zombina. "So, why don't you just come along Qui-". When the smoke cleared, Lilith was gone.
"AH FUCK!", shouted Zombina. "She used the smoke to escape".
"Where do you think she went?" Wondered Jaden.
"Who knows", said Zombina. "I'm just glad she's out of our heads. And let's just hope nothing else gets out of hand".
Deep in the forests of duel academy, a pair of red eyes glowed.
