'Oh, no!,' sighed Price. 'Now what?'

'According to Ziggy, a part of the initial energy wave has split off, and seems to have latched onto the new London HQ of your previous assignment, an organisation known as UNIT.

'It's back in operation?'

'Yes!. According to this, the relocation was prompted by extensive damage to the previous building, during a recent incident involving the Spy version of The Master, The Daleks and two varieties of Cyberman. The energy fragment seems to have formed a short term temporal passageway, leading from the basement of UNIT HQ to an area outside the Normandy town of Nuvion, mid evening, June 5 1944!'

'The night before the D-Day landings! whispered Gant.

'That's not all. Ziggy found unconfirmed reports, referring to a woman matching Major Price's description, accompanying a Home Guard platoon operating in that area, from that night onwards!'

'Another reality?, asked Beckett. 'You know, if Al was here, he'd be making remarks about Mashup Central!'

'Ha, ha!,' Price replied sarcastically, before turning to Addison and Williams. You said the energy fragment had formed a short term temporal passageway. How long before it gives out?'

Addison checked the device. 'According to Ziggy's calculations, just over 7 minutes.'

'And just how do you expect me to get from here in Scotland, to UNIT HQ in London, explain what's happened, and use the passageway, all within 7 minutes?'

'I could turn this into a Portkey for you' said Dumbldore, showing Price the back cover of a small, square shaped book. 'I found it in the Muggle Studies section of the school library.'

'The Action Operatives Handbook.' read Price. 'For the first time, the Action Heroes Handbook and Action Heroine's Handbook have been brought together in one, complete volume.' She looked up at Dumbledore. 'Let's do it!

'Are you sure this is a good idea?' Kontarsky asked, as Dumbledore checked the screen on Addison's device, before applying the Portus Charm.

'We're out of options, sir.' With that, Price turned to face the teens. 'Sorry guys, looks like I won't be able to answer your questions until after I get back.'

'If you get back!' said Ron, sourly.

'Are you ready, Major Price?' asked Dumbledore.

'No, but let's get it over with!

As soon as the book fully passed from Dumbledore's hands to hers, she found herself being pulled though a swirling tunnel, as if a hook had attached itself to the back of her battledress jacket. After a few seconds, she was rolling over, paratrooper style, on a carpeted floor.

'Welcome back to UNIT, Major Price,' came the unmistakable voice of Kate Stewart, UNIT's Chief Scientific Officer. 'What the hell is going on?'
