it's a nice afternoon. The sun is setting. The wind is blowing strong. Everything is at peace.

as the red haired pirates get ready to leave. Their captain, "red hair" Shanks, is once again talking to his young friend, monkey D Luffy.

is it true?. Your leaving, and never coming back? Asked Luffy.

been a long time coming. But I think it's time we find a new base of operations said Shanks with a calming smile.

I've decided not to be a pirate anymore. Instead, I'm going to be an adventurer said Luffy happily.

an adventurer?, where would you go? Asked Shanks smiling happily. I'm going to form my own crew of adventurers, who hunt for not only treasure. But bounties as well said Luffy smiling like crazy.

I see, and then what? Asked Shanks enjoy the sound of this.

we're going to be a strong crew. Stronger than you and the crew. And then, we'll find lots of treasure along the way. Until we find. "It" said Luffy with a smile.

"It"?. What's "it"? Asked Shanks confused but smiles anyway.

the one piece. I'll find it, not just because I want to find it. But because I want to see what it looks like said Luffy happily.

a treasure hunting adventurer, seeking out the one piece... now that, is cool said Shanks with a calm smile.

your going to need this then Luffy said Shanks as he puts his straw hat on Luffy's head.

this straw hat was a gift to me, from my captain, when I was young. He believed that I'd find a calling for myself as a pirate. I give this straw hat to you, Luffy. As a keepsake. I want you to keep this hat, until you find the one piece. Only then. Can you give it back to me said Shanks.

after that Shanks and the crew set sail, to the great unknown.

after that day, Luffy began his training. With the help of his grandfather, monkey D Garp.

after hearing about Luffy's new dream and goals. Garp was happy to hear Luffy won't be a pirate.

but at the same time is sad Luffy's not joining the marines like he did years ago.

as time went on, Luffy trained and trained so he can be strong.

after Luffy turned 17 years old. It was time to leave and live out his dreams.

[at the docks]

Luffy's wearing a red sleeveless vest. A pair of blue shorts. Some sandals. And his treasured straw hat Shanks gave him years ago.

just like that Luffy steps onboard his big boat. The boat was big enough for five people.

but instead it has Luffy. Food and drinks for 5 days. And 50,000,000 Barrie's.

he was ready to set sail to the great unknown.

just like that a giant sea king shows up.

so you returned. Big mistake. Because I'm ready for ya now said Luffy to the sea king.

the sea king hears this and begins to roar at Luffy.

[gum gum... pistol!] yelled Luffy as he used his right rubber fist. To punch the sea king out.

this sent the sea king flying a few feet away before crashing down into the deep sea.

just like that Luffy kept sailing around the sea king's knocked out body.

look out world. Here I come. I need enough for my crew. But how many? Asked Luffy as he set sail.
