Snow in Konoha
Chapter 1: Arrival
The young snow elf was laying on the slopes of the mountain. His armour was rent, and his sword, the last gift of his father, lay shattered on the ground beside him. The Nord, a muscular man with dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes, was standing above him, the warhammer, dripping with the blood of the young Falmer's friends. As the Falmer, his name being Harlor, was waiting for the death that would come at any moment, something strange happened: the sunlight bent around the young elf, and in a flash, he, along with his sword, was gone. The only trace of the elf was an imprint in the snow, which was filling at a rapid pace due to the snow storm. The Nord looked around, confused, then shrugged his shoulders and left, sheathing his warhammer. It was of no consequence to him, though. Many Snow Elves died by his hand that day, and though he hated killing the children, it did help with taking his mind off what happened in Saarthal. However, Harlor was not in Mundus anymore. He opened his eyes, and found himself in a void. The void was soon filled with light, and colors like a rainbow. They swirled around him, and some entered him. When he opened his eyes again, he didn't find himself in the colored expanse… he found himself in a moonlit forest, in front of a blonde boy with a giant scroll who was panting as though he had run a mile, and he was wearing the most eye-melting orange clothing Harlor had ever seen, along with a pair of… goggles. Harlor rubbed his pale blue eyes, and then pinched himself, convinced that this was a dream. Then he noticed something… something different. As he looked up… he saw only one moon. Masser was nowhere to be seen. He was confused, and quite frightened. Even on the darkest night, both moons could be seen, especially on a night as clear as this one. Then he looked again… that was not Secunda. The phase of the moon was wrong. He looked at the trees, and they were not any tree he had seen before. They almost looked like pine, but the trunks were too narrow. Then there was the scroll. It almost reminded him of an Elder Scroll. But the size and shape were wrong. The letters of what he could make out were not of any language he understood. There were too many lines and swirls. To make matters worse, the building that they were beside was not of any make he had seen before. It looked like stone… but not. Harlor was terrified. He had only been alive for 14 winters, and he was in a place that was so unlike the Hidden Vale, or any of Skyrim for that matter, that he was certain that it had to be a dream. To make sure, he took his sword, and nicked his finger on it. There was pain, and a drop of his blood fell. It wasn't a dream. Then the blonde looked up at him and shouted at the top of his lungs, "WHAT THE HELL? WHO ARE YOU 'TTEBAYO!?" Harlor was certain he'd go deaf if the kid kept speaking that loud. Then, said kid pulled out a… dagger? It had to be a dagger if it was that small. Harlor's ears pricked, and his sensitive hearing picked up someone running towards them faster than anyone should be able to run. They stopped, and Harlor saw a man panting in front of them. The man had long brown hair in a… rather spiky ponytail, a tan, and a large-ish scar from cheek to cheek in a straight line across his nose. He was wearing one of the strangest outfits Harlor had ever seen. Almost completely dark brown, with the same red swirls on it as the kids eye-melting jumpsuit. To top it all off was a beige jacket without the sleeves. The man looked up, and saw Naruto. He then saw Harlor and got one of those weird daggers out, but then the kid said, "YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD ME YOUR NAME 'TTEBAYO! WHAT EVEN ARE YOU?!" Harlor looked at the man, and said, "W-who are you? W-where am I? And where's the twin moons?" The man looked confused at Harlor's questions. All he said was "...what?" The boy jumped up, and said - or shouted is more like it - "MY NAME IS UZUMAKI NARUTO, AND I'M THE FUTURE HOKAGE, 'TTEBAYO!" Harlor had enough of this kid. "C-can you please just stop shouting? I thought my mother was loud." "Naruto, what are you doing here?" The kid, now known as Naruto, perked up and said slightly quieter, "Oh, Iruka-sensei, I'm gonna show you this new jutsu I tried, then you'll pass me, right? Anyone who learns a jutsu from the scroll will graduate?" "Huh?" Iruka looked dumbfounded. "Where did you get that idea?" "Mizuki-sensei, 'ttebayo! He showed me how to get the scroll and this place…" Before either of them could formulate a response to that, the sound of multiple projectiles sounded through the air. "GET DOWN!" shouted Harlor, as he tackled the blonde kid. Then the man was impaled with three daggers, one in the shoulder, one in the knee, and another in the forearm. Harlor looked up, and saw a man standing on a tree branch with two giant four bladed knives on his back, and was similarly dressed as the brown haired one, but he had short hair, and it was tinted blue, and cruel green eyes. He said in a tone to match his eyes, "I've seen you found my little hideaway." Iruka said, "So that's how it is." The man in the tree then uttered, "Naruto, give me the scroll!" Naruto confusedly replied, "W-wait," He got out from under Harlor. "Wh-what's going on?" Iruka pulled the knife out of his shoulder, "Naruto, Mizuki tricked you into stealing the scroll, it contains forbidden techniques." Mizuki then laughed, a very harsh one that had the hairs on Harlor's arms standing up. "Oh, I'll tell you who's really lying." The young snow elf decided that he hated this 'Mizuki' person. Absently, he wondered what a jutsu was. He thought to himself 'don't they mean spell?' He knew quite a bit of spells, most of them ice related. The Altmer may have the best magical affinity, but only the Snow Elves had a near perfect grasp on the ice magicks. "No, Mizuki!" Mizuki continued on relentlessly, "They've been lying to you this whole time, since the decree 12 years ago. Why, everyone knows except you. Even Iruka is hiding it from you now." Harlor stood back up, and glared at Mizuki. He knew what this man was: a gifted manipulator, someone who was willing to do anything for power. He knew that Mizuki was dragging this on, just to cause more suffering for Naruto. Naruto then spoke up, saying, "What decree? Why does anyone know about it?" Mizuki then said in a cold manner, "The decree is that no one can tell you that the nine-tailed fox is inside you." Harlor could tell that this was shocking news, judging by how the kid's eyes widened and how he took several steps back, his head shaking and body trembling. "No…" It came out as little more than a whisper. Mizuki continued on ruthlessly, "Didn't you find it odd how everyone treated you - less than dirt, as if they had hated your very existence! Even your beloved sensei hates your guts! Now die!" The man took the four bladed knife and spun it above his head, but before he could attack, he was struck in the gut by a giant ice spike. Naruto, Iruka, and Mizuki all looked at Harlor, who still had his hand outstretched, ice and frost emanating from his palm. The glare he held and the glint shining from his eyes all unnerved them, aside from Mizuki, who fell from the branch, the giant knife thing slicing into his neck. The last thing Harlor said before he passed out was, "I hate child murderers."
