'Thought'
"Can't believe that Jacques would want these animals near his company, didn't the Schnee and the Faunus have some history with one another?"
A truck could be seen driving through the streets of Atlas, specifically the less busy parts of the city, driven by two security guards, with the SCD logo on their clothing. The truck was carrying a dozen or two people called Faunuses, young or old, with either noticeable or hardly noticeable animal features that stood out from their bodies. The truck didn't do them any favors; all of them were kept in poor condition - not only from the crowded space that forced them to be squished up against each other, but also the neglected health that was being ignored by two more security guards who were watching over them, or so it seems. A few of the Faunuses seemed to be doing better than most, having either minor cuts or bruises, maybe a mild cold or fever. However, most look very worse than others, and unfortunately, there are three certain individuals that look to be worse off than anyone else.
'H-Humans… I hate them… I hate them so much!...'
The least injured out of the three was a young boy, with red hair and bull horns. Less injured is a bit of an insult, since he was still very hurt; even though he had the same cuts and bruises as everyone else, he also had a few harsh whip marks, some broken bones that were half-heartedly bandaged up, and the SCD logo that was harshly branded and burned into his eye. Every Faunus in the truck had the logo branded onto their bodies, so it forced him to be half-blind, unable to see through the eye that had been basically destroyed. However, instead of submitting from fear and pain like the other Faunuses, it only fueled his hate and resentment toward the humans. No doubt, if given the chance, he would kill them all without hesitation and make them suffer just as much as he did from them.
'B-But is good Hunter… Can still h-hunt…'
However, most don't share the same anger and rage, some just feel confused, sad, and like a failure, like the second injured Faunus. She is a young dog girl with black hair, light purple eyes, and a mark below her eye; like the others, she was also branded, though unlike the bully boy, hers was placed on her neck. Unlike the first injured Faunus, she seems to have been treated more like an animal than any other Faunus here, receiving injuries that are more similar to what wild animals get, either from the wild nature outside, like bites, claws, scratches, and more, or something that resembled her being hunted like a wild animal, such as bullet holes, slashes from blades, or being hurt by traps she set off when being captured. She has obviously been through a lot, and it was unclear if she could take anymore; her mental state definitely couldn't, due to trauma and multiple head injuries that left her very mentally less than she once was.
'...'
Although at least the last two can think and feel other emotions and thoughts like hate and sadness, the last Faunus of the trio, all she could feel and think about was extreme pain; what the last two had, she also had, and then some. You couldn't even see or find her SDC brand mark under all that injured mess. In fact, the only reason anyone could tell she was alive was because of her rising and falling chest from the breathing, as well as telling she was a Faunus due to her tail and ears, which were the least harmed and messed up part of her body. Everything was a mess, everyone was a mess, no one was happy, not even the security that was watching over them.
"Ugh, it smells here, don't you animals ever take baths?..."
Although their reasons were less noble or sympathetic, they were still upset.
"Don't worry, we shouldn't be that much further from our destination."
The other security guard simply reassured them, patting their shoulders, while pushing away a few Faunus that had gotten too close to them.
"This sucks, I wished we could leave them in the wild where they belong."
The first security guard continued to complain about his situation, only thinking about how this affected him and how much it annoyed him.
"At least it pays well… Damn Schnee and their large bank account…"
As the two security guards continued to talk with one another, they were unaware of a certain bull boy that was currently freeing himself from the chains and shackles that bound him, thanks to a loose tooth that had fallen out of his mouth and was now being used to pick the lock; once freed, he slowly got up and started to sneak up toward the human guards. None of the other Faunuses tried to stop him; either because they were too weak to do so, or because they felt the same way and wanted to see the humans die, or at the very least watch them get hurt badly.
'I'll kill you… I'll kill all you… Humans evil… They need to die… They deserve to die… AND I'LL MAKE TO THAT THEY WILL-"
Before the bull could do anything, or before the security guards could see and stop him from what he was doing, the truck that they were in suddenly came to a screeching halt, which made the bull boy fall back to his spot he was sitting at, and made the security guards almost lose their balance. Once everyone regained balance and their bearings, one of the human security guards pulled out their radio and started asking questions.
"Hey! Why did you stop? Don't you realize how mad Jacques will be if we're late?!"
"I, um, someone is standing in front of the truck?..."
The two security guards looked confused when the driver gave a strange reply and reason for why they had stopped; then they quickly grabbed their weapons and got out of the trucks, leaving behind a bunch of confused Faunuses, not knowing what was going on, including the bull boy.
'Someone stopped the truck?...'
His rageful mind was instantly replaced with childlike curiosity; he quickly got back up and carefully got out of the truck, making sure he sneaked around to not attract any unwanted attention and get caught. Once out, he poked his head out and looked to see what was going on, and what he saw made his one remaining eye go wide in surprise.
'I-Is that a Faunus?...'
Standing in front of the truck, where the four security guards stood, was a mysterious figure dressed in clothing that resembled a dark hooded cloak with some bone-like armor, as well as a bone-like mask, concealing their identity from the security guards. They could only tell that the individual was a Faunus due to the cat ear shapes on their hood; however, regardless of their knowledge, the unknown person simply stood there and seemed to look down at the four security guards with a light smirk on their face.
"You are only doing your job, and aren't real criminals, so the only type of mercy I'm willing to give is not killing you."
The hooded figure crossed his arms and wore a wider smug smile
"However, if you plan to continue what you're doing, then unfortunately you have sealed your own fate and will meet pains worse than death~..."
As soon as the stranger said this, all the marks and symbols on his clothes glowed a faint red color, which definitely enhanced his ominous and dangerous appearance; it definitely made the human's sense of security tighten up somewhat, though they didn't show any fear or worry toward the mysterious person just yet.
"Look, you're definitely not part of our cargo, and we don't definitely don't have enough room for more wild animals, especially ones that aren't properly trained."
One of the guards walked up to the cloaked stranger, placed a hand on his shoulder, and gave him a gentle pat. With his free hand, he used his weapon, which resembled an electric shock baton.
"So why not do us all a favor and go back to the woods where you belong, no need to cause problems amongst ourselves, alright?"
As the security guard tried to talk down and avoid any conflicts, mostly out of convenience and wanting to go home early, the hooded figure just gently grabbed their hands, interrupting them completely.
"Even though you're not entirely evil, I won't have to worry about feeling bad for using you as my guinea pig for my new suit~..."
Before the security guard could react, their entire hand and wrist were instantly shattered and broken by the unknown Faunus. They screamed in pain before receiving a very strong kick that sent them flying and crashing hard into a truck, destroying the engine and shattering the windows. This was enough to shock everyone, including the bull-like boy who was still watching everything, though now with an even more shocked expression.
"Flexibility and withstanding my strengths, check~"
The cloaked stranger wore a satisfied expression as he pulled back his leg, having delivered such a strong kick; the remaining three security guards wasted no time aiming their weapons at him, lethal gun mode, and did not hesitate in shooting their entire bullet loads at him, only for all the bullets and gunshots to hit him, but they were harmless, as they all just bounced off or fell flat on the ground after hitting his suit.
"Basic range weapon resistance, check~"
Once realizing that their guns were useless, the security guards quickly changed their weapons into melee and charged towards the hooded figure as they once again started attacking him, slashing, bashing and whacking his body all over with all their might and strength, though it barely did anything to him, allowing them to continue their assault.
"Basic melee weapon durability, check~"
Before the security guards could continue with their futile endeavor, the black portion of the stranger's suit suddenly moved and stretched out toward one of the attackers, quickly wrapping around their neck, picking them up off the ground, and violently throwing them away like trash, even landing in a nearby dumpster.
"Black mass manipulation, check~"
As the other security guard attempted to grab his weapon, which was stuck on one of the bone protrusions on the stranger, several more moves suddenly popped out of the suit and hit them all over their vital pressure points, enough force to break their aura and cause them immense pain, before ending it with a giant bony fist that popped out and struck them in the face with enough force to knock out their teeth, break their nose, and send them crashing into a nearby building, creating a big hole in the wall as a result.
"Grimm bones control, check~"
After dealing with all three of the security guards, the unknown Faunus turned his attention to the fourth and final opponent that was still left standing, though any confidence or fighting spirit they had was now replaced with shaking and unbearable fear and despair, which made him smirk at this.
"And now, most importantly~"
The cloaked stranger manipulated his bones and donned his black mask once more, shifting and moving around before suddenly transforming into a pair of what looked like a mix of a crowbar-bladed tonfa; once they fell into his hands and he held them tightly, the bone-like weapons, as well as his entire body, were suddenly surrounded by a very bright and colorful aura, which only increased the terror within the last remaining security guard.
"Aura intake and output~"
The security guard had only a moment of silence and stillness, an instant feeling of peace and comfort, a nanosecond of true bliss, before suddenly being covered in very deep cuts, clothes nearly destroyed and covered in blood, its aura already broken before it could even realize it, and just became nothing more than a mess, a living mess, but a mess nonetheless, and said mess fell to the ground, again still alive, but now unconscious and unresponsive; no doubt will be like this for quite a while until their aura recovers or when help finally arrives.
"Check~"
The mysterious person, who was standing behind the last remaining security guard, paid them no attention and simply looked at their weapon with a very accomplished and happy smile, since they saw that their weapon was completely undamaged, not even a single crack could be seen on it.
"Sorry for not being as flashy and dramatic in our fight, but today was just me testing out my new suit."
He simply reformed the weapons from his suit and looked back at the unconscious and somewhat bloody bodies of the four security guards with a light mocking smirk.
"But don't worry, if you continue to do bad things, I'll be sure to give you a proper show, k?~"
He then suddenly disappeared from sight, as if teleporting away, which immediately startled the bull boy, who clearly wasn't expecting it.
"Now then."
The bull boy yelped in surprise, and slight fear, as he quickly turned around and saw the mysterious hooded figure suddenly appear out of nowhere and looking inside the back of the truck with an interested expression, holding up a hand and summoning what looks to be a rainbow-colored fireball in his palm, which everyone, including the bull boy, watched with a mix of curiosity and worry.
"Might as well dip my toes into the hero genre since I'm here."
Short introduction to how his new suit works, just imagine it like Alex Mercer from Prototype, but anyway, due to Shadow/Cid living in a more modern and civilized world, he does not have the benefit of killing anyone nilly willy, unlike he could in the medieval barbaric world, so he has to be somewhat careful and thoughtful on who he kills, like these security guards, they might have hate towards Faunus and even mistreat them, but they're not, "Villains", if that makes sense, they have a normal life, have a normal family and go with life and such, they're not real criminals, understand what I mean? But yeah, I mean he would still brutalized almost everyone he faces, but he won't just kill everyone he meets, keep that in mind.
(BTW, Adam will still be merciless and maybe somewhat cruel, but he's not 100% evil, he is very loyal to Lord Shadow)
