Jiro Kyoka likes UA a lot so far.

No one says anything about her changing up her uniform, her class is nice enough, and she's finally on track to becoming a hero. What's not to like about that?

Now this training simulation for Heroics is definitely more of a challenge than she'd anticipated for their first hands on training, as seen in two of her classmates blowing through a roof , but she's ready to get things done and show off her power!

She may not have personally picked Kaminari Denki as a partner, but he's better than the explosion guy by far.

Now having the top student and the number three student up against them may be a bit of a problem, especially with the whole five minutes the 'villains' get extra to prepare, but Jiro's got faith in herself.

Maybe not so much in Kaminari, but she's pretty sure she can have enough faith in herself for the both of them.

"Alright, ready, set, go!" All Might shouts from the intercom, and Jiro doesn't move, holding out an arm to stop Kaminari.

"All right, we need to be careful about this. Yukimura's got way more control over metal than you'd think. She took down the no pointer in my exam," Jiro states, and Kaminari's eyes widen.

"Seriously?" Jiro nods.

"We keep our guard up, and we try to capture her partner. We could ransom her," Jiro says. Kaminari nods firmly.

"Good plan, Earjacks! Now let's go stop some villains!" Kaminari shouts, and Jiro pokes the side of his face with her right jack.

" Ow. Right. Sneaky."

They head in slowly, Jiro checking for where there's the most sound and moving them towards there. Kaminari and her check for any alternate doorways, but the room sounds large and echoey.

A trap.

She tells Kaminari as much.

"Well, Yukimura's outfit is lined with metal, right? If I can get close enough I can shock her out of the game," Kaminari says.

It's rough, but at this point it's all they've got.

"Right. Let's blow open this door first. I can distract while you recharge," Jiro says.

The door bursts in a flood of electricity, and the hero team steps inside the wide room. Jiro feels pretty badass, to be honest.

Then Yaoyorozu jumps her, fighting in hand to hand. Jiro isn't any slouch at martial arts, it's practically a requirement if you want to be a hero, but this girl is good. Just as good as her.

Shit.

Then, Jiro hears metal creak and whips her head around, seeing Kaminari trapped in what used to be metal door barriers.

"My, I'd been wondering when you'd be showing up," murmured towards the bomb, and leaned against the nearest pillar to it is Yukimura.

She's covered in dark red armor, what looks like bulletproof material that's probably interwoven with metal. It includes a cape, old school , and a very clearly metal helmet. Her head tilts, and her eyes are covered now. Someone's playing their part.

"Give up," She states, quiet but booming in the large room.

Jiro scoffs. "Never."

Yukimura grins lazily, and waves a hand. The metal around Kaminari tightens, and an extra piece appears at his neck. It's sharp.

Jiro's nerves spike.

"You wouldn't, this isn't real," Jiro says, sounding calm but trying to inch closer to Kaminari.

"Oh, I won't?" Yukimura asks. She flicks a finger, and the metal draws blood.

"Forfeit or I break his arms. Don't think I won't," It's said so quietly with a smile, and Jiro can see her eyes now. There's something off in them and she stifles a shiver.

The metal tightens and Kaminari groans.

Shit .

"I forfeit."

"Winner, Villians!" All Might declares over the intercom. Like a switch Yukimura gently releases Kaminari, previous expression replaced with apologetic exhaustion. Jiro let's out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding.

"Sorry," Yukimura Kenzo says, and Yaoyorozu Momo helps Kaminari up from where he'd leaned on the wall.

Jiro Kyoka tries to shove away whatever that caricature was and heads back to the observance room with her teammate. At least she's not the one at risk of tetanus.

Yagi Toshinori, better known as All Might, the Number One Hero, and the Symbol of Peace, doesn't really know how to react to what's just happened.

Toshinori knows better than to ever judge a person for their roots, not after so long in the hero industry near so many who'd been harmed by villians.

Yukimura Kenzo is a bit of an enigma though.

She won the top spot in the physical exams, then maintained it in Eraserhead's tests, so she is clearly a very good student and dedicated to becoming a hero.

She's very very good at playing a Villain though. Enough to trick a fellow student into forcing them to forfeit.

"Can anyone tell me who did best in this exercise?" Toshinori asks. Iida Tenya raises his hand high.

"Yes, young Iida!" All Might states.

"Though the Heroes efforts were admirable, Yukimua showed to be the best. She committed to her role and successfully intimidated the heroes into forfeiting, despite that not being expressly made out as a way to win!" Iida declares.

Toshinori didn't initially realize that his students were so observant, but he is glad to know he doesn't need to teach them that. Toshinori looks over to said top student, leaned against a pillar towards the back seemingly dozing.

"Very true!" All Might booms, and Yukimura now blinks eyes widening for a moment before returning to their natural half lidded state.

"Young Yukimura, though your actions were villainous they were very in line with the test! It was very smart of you to use young Kaminari's momentary weakness against young Jiro!" He praises, and Yukimura nods in thanks.

There isn't much to correct the losing team on, it was simply unfortunate for them to end up on the wrong end of Yukimura's quirk. He does try to be encouraging though, and Kaminari and Jiro both seem to brighten at it.

Todoroki makes another example of being simply outclassed or at a disadvantage for the other team. Ah, also, he should speak with Aizawa about Hagakure Tōru's costume. Toshinori does not feel comfortable with having a fifteen year old girl fighting naked and at the mercy of her opponents. Invisible or not.

It takes Toshinori admittedly longer than he'd like to realize Yukimura has fallen asleep on the floor, laying still against that pillar. Young Yaoyorozu Momo stands close to her, likely feeling comradery after their exam, almost as a guard.

She sleeps through the rest of the tests, even through the parts where the lights come on and Toshinori much keep his voice booming and cheerful. Something that's clearly concern begins to build in his chest at how tired she looks, but it's minor under his concern for young Midoriya's condition.

Speaking of, Toshinori plans on seeing him as soon as class let's out. One to attempt to correct the boy's self destructive behavior somehow, and two to congratulate him on his win. Even if it was a bit of a fluke.

"How come you sleep so much?" Ochako Uraraka asks one Yukimura Kenzo once everyone has settled in class to hang out. School doesn't technically end for an hour, so they're not wasting after school time or anything.

Yukimura Kenzo is really interesting, and Uraraka wants to know more about her. That, and one of her most recent friends is in the infirmary at the moment so she's a bit bored.

"I work two part time jobs," Yukimura murmurs from where her face is half covered by her worn hoodie. Uraraka blinks in surprise.

"Oh! I'm sorry for asking, you just look so exhausted all the time- Ah, that sounds worse, doesn't it?" Uraraka asks bashfully, reaching up and nervously rubbing the back of her neck.

Good going, Uraraka! You told her she looks bad! Uraraka lightly slaps her cheeks, then holds out a hand to the still watching first in their year.

"Ochako Uraraka! I'm sorry for not introducing myself before." Yukimura takes her hand and shakes it much more firmly than Uraraka would expect from the lethargic looking girl.

"Yukimura Kenzo, and don't worry about it. Nice going on your test, by the way. Using the damage to your advantage," The girl says with a small smile, and Uraraka can't stifle the grin that comes forth.

"Really? Thank you! I was just kinda winging it, I'm not sure how much longer I could've lasted before all that debris showed up." Nearby, Iida lectures Kaminari about his shirt being untucked. "I thought your test was really cool too! I got honestly scared for Kaminari there, it was really smart of you to trick Jiro into forfeiting. How'd you look so much like a villain?"

Yukimura smiles and her eyes curve and she looks really pretty when she does, honestly. Most of the people in class are really cute now that Uraraka thinks about it, except for that explosion guy. He's scary.

"Personal experience, I suppose. Say, your quirk isn't really actual antigravity is it? Cause by that logic your targets would get shot into space and stuff," Yukimura says idly.

Well, she hasn't thought of it that way- wait. Did she just say personal experience?

Mind your business, Uraraka! Geez.

"I didn't think of it that way! I came up with that name when I was five, though, so I guess I didn't really get physics as much back then," Uraraka says. Yukimura nods, before humming comfortably into her hoodie.

"Well my registration isn't exactly the most accurate either, so I'm not one to judge," Yukimura says.

Midoriya comes through the door then, and Uraraka quickly hurries over to check on the injured boy. She really is meeting all types of interesting people!

"Uh. Who voted for me?" Is mumbled from the back of class, and Kaminari Denki's face heats up before he shoves it down.

"You didn't vote for yourself Yuki?" Uraraka says near him, and she's been trying to find a good nickname for the first in their year all day.

"Voted for Iida. He's basically Class President already," The short haired girl says simply.

"I did, Yukimura! You just always seem to know what to do," Kaminari says, looking back at the girl with a sheepish grin. She stares contemplatively at him, dark eyes like pits.

"I did as well, Yukimura, for the same reason," Yaoyorozu adds.

The girl blinks, then shrugs.

"Wouldn't have done it anyways. Too much work. Just make Iida it, he likes this stuff," Yukimura says before laying her head back against her hoodie with her eyes closed.

Kaminari decides that he's likely just learned something very important on what Yukimura deems as work, and turns back to the front after only staring for a moment.

"Alright, well ignoring Yukimura that leaves Midoriya in first and Iida and I tied for second," Yaoyorozu states.

" Rock Paper Scissors ," Yukimura grumbles behind them all, into her hoodie. There are noises of agreement.

Iida does not win Rock Paper Scissors and Midoriya looks like he's going to throw up when he stands up in the front. Kaminari still thinks Yukimura would've done better but whatever.

Kaminari is very careful not to touch anyone with his hands in the chaos, his nerves making his fingertips spark in a way they haven't in a long while.

"Deep breaths, and get to the side. There's no point getting jostled over here," Is murmured very close to Kaminari, and a familiar hand finds its place on his shoulder.

Is he freaking out that bad? Damn that's embarrassing.

"Sorry," Kaminari says, smiling self deprecatingly. Then Yukimura is maneuvering them out of the central chaos, parting the way with much more ease than he thinks he could manage right now. Kaminari spots her hand on Hagakure Toru's shoulder as well, who seems like she's trying to curl into herself. As much as an invisible girl can look like that, of course.

Yukimura seems the most awake he's ever seen her, eyes unblinking and her face serious and alert.

"This is fucking rediculous," she says, voice never changing tone to indicate annoyance, ever calm. Kaminari tried not to laugh. "There should at least be general studies teachers here to keep people from mobbing. So stupid."

They get close to the wall where it's far easier to breathe. Yukimura is murmuring in soothing tones to Hagakure as Iida goes spiraling above them. Now Kaminari really does chance an abrupt guffaw.

"Everyone please remain calm! It is just the media, there is no reason to panic!" Is shouted above their heads and Kaminari lets out a relieved breath.

Yukimura gives him a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder, now frowning in bemusement. At least it wasn't villains.

" Are you being taught by All Might?" A female reporter shouts at an exhausted looking teenager, microphone shoved close to her face.

The teenager blinks, slowly.

" Yes, " Is said blandly. The reporter presses on Anyways.

" What's it like having him as a teacher, and what's your personal impression of him ?" The reporter asks.

" He's new to it, but he's definitely trying. My personal impression is that he's bright and loud ." She yawns now. " I'm going to class. "

The camera switches now to a round faced girl with blushing cheeks.

Yukimura Kaito stares calmly at the plastic television, but he isn't focused on it anymore. The quirk suppression collar around his neck itches.

"That girl sure looked a lot like you, Kaito," Bloodranger says next to who used to be Metalhead. Kaito nods, and smiles tiredly.

"I believe that that's my eldest daughter, Kenzo," The kindly looking man says. Inside something has turned to cold steel but outside he smiles. "She looks like she needs sleep. Always was committed to her studies."

She was wearing his fucking hoodie.

Hellspawn whistles lowly. " Ouch . If my kid pulled that shit I'd have beaten the hero out of 'em."

Would it be inappropriate to say he'd already tried? Though it wasn't for that specific reason.

"There's only so much parenting one can do from prison," Kaito says with a fatherly sigh. His hands ache for his bat .

"A lot of nerve coming from the piece of shit who got in here for ' parenting '," Kingkill shouts from the other side of the room, and his whole table shouts agreement. Kaito only smiles serenely.

"Eat shit and die, Yakuza fuckers!" Hellspawn shouts back, standing from his seat and getting forced back into it by a guard. The man bares his teeth but stays there.

So. His first born surprise is becoming a hero.

Kaito breathes in and wishes he could tear his collar apart piece by piece and send the shards into all twenty nearby guards.

For now he simply smiles and watches Ingenium's brother go on about All Might. Good things come to those who wait.
