A.N Hi! Here's another chapter.

Sorry for any mistakes.

I don't own Harry Potter.

Have fun reading :)

That night, Harry, Terry and Padma waited late into the night until the last few students had left the common room and headed up to bed. They crept out the door to the Ravenclaw common room, being careful to close the door quietly. They got such a fright when the door knocker screeched at them to get back into bed that they practically sprinted down the spiral staircase.

They were making their way past a suit of armour when Terry finally broke the silence. "I really don't think we should be doing this." Padma shushed him and they continued on their way. Through a corridor, down some more stairs and finally they reached the door leading to the third floor corridor.

Padma turned the door handle but it didn't budge. "Darn." She crossed her arms in disappointment. Terry grumbled, pulled out his wand and pointed it at the handle. "Alohomora." The lock clicked and a smile slid slowly back onto Padma's face. "Are you sure about this?" Harry asked. Padma nodded and Terry shook his head. "Let's just get it over with." The three of them slipped inside, all holding their breath in trepidation and excitement.

At first Harry couldn't see anything, he waited in the darkness for his eyes to adjust. A loud scream from Padma and a shout of surprise from Terry warned him that whatever was standing in front of him wasn't anything good. Once his eyes finally adapted to the dark he stared in horror at the giant, growling three headed dog mere feet away."RUN!" He yelled.

Harry, Padma and Terry ran back out the door, locked it and rushed through the corridor trying to get as far away from the dog as possible.

Upon reaching the fourth floor they came across Mrs Norris. "A second year warned me," Padma panted trying to catch her breath as the three of them stared down at Mrs Norris. "They said if I ever come across Mrs Norris, it's only a matter of time before Filch arrives." "Let's get out of here then." Terry advised. Harry nodded in agreement and off they went, hurrying through the castle and trying to stick close to the shadows.

"What are they thinking, keeping a thing like that locked up in a school?!" Terry's eyes were wide with fear. "It was guarding something." Padma told them as they reached the door to the common room. "There was a trapdoor. I think there's something valuable that it's guarding." "Dangerous you mean." Terry said. "No way they'd put something near that dog if it were super valuable. It'd be better off at Gringotts."

Harry remained silent and turned to the door knocker. He knocked it twice and waited. "What question can never be answered with 'yes'" Terry and Padma ended their conversation instantly, both wanting to complete the riddle. "'Are you asleep?'" Padma answered. "I wish I was." The knocker replied bitterly, swinging the door open. The three Ravenclaws grinned sheepishly at it before entering the common room and closing the door.

"It's asleep for most of the day." Terry reasoned as he and Harry got into bed not long later. "It shouldn't complain."
