On the 4th of January, some criminals were robbing, working for Octi Corp.
Some kids looked at them and leaped in.
Pow, Crash, Smash!
Lisa was watching the news. It said stuff about a robbery.
"How'd we miss that?" Lori asked.
"Some kids were fighting them." Luke says, confused and not caring.
"Did the cosmic buddies fight them?" Lynn asked
"No, they were upset about not getting appreciated. Randy can be sensitive." Leni says.
"So what, I'm better than the cosmic buddies. Who needs them?" Luke says.
"That's probably the other reason all the comparisons between you and the cosmic buddies have been going too far. Some people say Jitro should have captured them and that they shouldn't be on Audition. Rumors go on that Randy wants Oliver and Garrett dead. Also you." Lisa says.
"That does it!" Charity says, angry and very stressed. "I'm not standing by anymore and seeing people die because a hero team is throwing a temper tantrum over losing!"
"Everyone seems to throw a temper tantrum over losing. Stephen does it sometimes. Luke does it over attention." Oliver says
Lola looked away. "I do not have temper tantrums." She says.
Brock and Beth Clusterfield walked into a room.
"Good, you captured those heroes. Very good." Brock says as they enter the room, seeing some kids who definitely were not the cosmic buddies.
"Wait, those aren't the cosmic buddies. Those are those Adventure Kids! Also, is that one of Oliver's designs?" Beth asked.
"Made by me, you old hag!" Cynthia says smugly.
"Mind making me an extra?" Beth asked.
"Maybe…nah, just kidding!" Cynthia says, blowing a raspberry.
"So no seeing Audition?" Ann asked.
"If we can get out, we'll see the show." Kali says.
"I need to get this delivery done today!" Cynthia says.
"Huh?" Brock asked.
Suddenly, the door was kicked down as Lynn and Lincoln were there with Lucy and Oliver.
"Oh, hey, Cynthia." Oliver says. Cynthia waves to Oliver. Ann fainted when she saw Luke.
"What?! You know her?" Luke asked Oliver. Oliver nodded.
"Less talking, more fighting!" Lynn says.
Card Shark shot water at Lynn.
"You sure seem to be a good fighter." Cynthia says with sarcasm.
While the others fight, Oliver frees the Adventure Kids. "Now, fight with us!" He says.
"Yeah!" Brock says and charged.
"Brock, wait!" Kali says as she used the crystal to send the villains somewhere else by mistake.
"That was easy." Lucy says.
"Yeah, we got tickets to buy. Please say they're not sold out…" David asked as Ann woke up, saw Luke, and fainted again.
"Sorry about that. My little sister is a big fan of yours. We all are. But she likes you the most. Cynthia, please tell me you saved the package…" Kali says.
"It's at the hotel. Let's go." Cynthia says as Oliver was blushing.
"You like her, don't you?" Lynn teased Oliver. Oliver blushed harder.
"What?" Luke asked.
They arrived as Cynthia got Oliver the clothes and designs. Oliver smiled.
"Thank you." Oliver says.
Tina was getting ready for ANH. And so was Savannah.
"Happy birthday to me!" Tina says.
"We'll celebrate later." Savannah says.
Meanwhile, the Adventure Kids were in a long line waiting to get tickets. Luke just watched them.
"This is taking too long…" Brock says
Deeders just reads his book.
"Why are you watching kids?" Luan asked.
"Oliver likes one of them." Luke says. "You should see the way he blushes every time he sees her."
"Wanna tease him?" Luan asked.
"Oliver is already a bit embarrassed by it. Let's not." Luke says.
"Out of tickets?" Ann sniffed and looked heartbroken. They were walking home, but they bumped into Angry Luigi, Bill, and Jason.
"No way, the cosmic buddies!" Deeders says.
"Oh, hello." Bill says.
"You needed tickets, right? We'll try and get you in." Jason said as Angry Luigi nodded, a bit sad.
"Really, thank you!" Ann says. "I really wanna see Luke. Oh, I guess your team is pretty cool."
The two teams head to the door, seeing the door locked.
"Use your cool powers!" Ann says.
"No." Angry Luigi says. Jason punched it down.
"What's wrong with him?" Brock asked. Kali shrugged.
Luke and Oliver were preparing as Cynthia walked by. Oliver blushed before Luan snapped her fingers, getting his attention.
"Focus! If we lose, it's your fault!" Luke snapped. He then decides it's time for a break and storms off.
"What a hard case" Cynthia says.
Later, there was food in the VIP room. Brock drooled as Alem tuber sighed.
Luke entered as he got his share of food and then walked out in a huff.
"So, Cynthia, what type of adventures do you go on?" Oliver asked as Cynthia just eats.
"Your partner kinda left in a huff." Ann says.
"And what happened to the Cosmic buddies? We were actually looking forward to seeing them fight crime, but they didn't." David says.
"We're not heroes anymore." Alem tuber says, looking down.
The Adventure Kids were stunned.
"Oliver's distracted by Cynthia and the cosmic buddies are going soft. Good work." Mark tells himself, despite not doing anything.
"What next?" Brandon asked as they noticed Brandy and Luke going to forfeit.
"Stop!" Garrett says.
"Why?" Luke sniffed.
"Oliver! Stop putting your love life in the way of the show! And Luke, those bullies are just wanting you out. What have we talked about?" Garrett asked.
"I'm not good enough." Brandy sniffed as Luke nodded.
"Mark and Brandon are just wanting you out so they can win. You're in it to win it, Luke. And those bullies are trying to get in the way of that. It's time you learn how to grow a backbone and how to ignore the haters." Garrett says.
"Fine." Luke sniffed as Brandy thinks.
"What about me?" Brandy asked Garrett.
"Same goes for you." Garrett says.
The show was set to start in 30 minutes. Luke and Oliver were soon back to preparing as Oliver was heavily scolded for losing focus just an hour ago.
"I'm sorry, she's just…" Oliver says
"Look, we need to do something about Cynthia." Luke says.
"Don't you touch her!" Oliver says as Alem tuber and Angry Luigi shrugged.
"This is why we don't need girls." The twins say.
"I just won't look at her. It's a big crowd." Oliver says.
"Glad that's over. Anyway, your old friends really want Brandy and I out of the show." Alem tuber says.
"Not our problem." Oliver says, not minding.
"Whatever." Alem tuber says.
Soon, the show was starting. Victoria and James appear on stage.
"Hello everyone, tonight is going to be an amazing night! Why?" Victoria asked.
"Because tonight will be a show that is out of this world!" James says.
"We got tonight's idea from the Sing 2 movie. Each of our teams was given a 'planet' to explore. And they were to coordinate a routine based on it. Each team's 'planet' is different. None are the same as the other." Victoria says. "And of course, someone will go home tonight. Based on votes. So if you want a team of your choosing to remain here on the show and be in this season's top 10 for the next show, we want votes!"
"Good luck, losers!" Mark says to Brandy. Brandy remembers what Garrett said and strategically ignores him.
"Our first planet, ripe for exploring, is the planet of war. And the team of Brandy and Randy Waterlash will be our explorers of this planet! Take it away, boys!" Victoria says.
Brandy and Randy appear on stage in their warrior costumes. They do their routine using the song "War" by Eddie Starr.
The crowd gets into it, even singing along with the chorus of the song. At the end of it, the twins walk offstage, hand-in-hand, as the crowd cheers.
Backstage, Luke and Oliver put on their costumes. They were ready to show the world they weren't quitters.
"Coming up are the stars of the show! They are coming up to explore our next planet, the planet of silliness! Give it up for the fearless explorers of this planet…Luke Huntington and Oliver Fox!" Victoria says.
The boys appear on stage in colorful Mad Hatter-themed space outfits. Luke pulls out his custom Mad Hatter-themed guitar as the two boys begin their performance of the Sing 2 rendition of "Let's Go Crazy".
Fans cheered and Ann screamed for Luke. She was excited to watch him.
"Best performance ever!" Fans chanted.
Beau and Lisa got ready.
"The planet being explored next is one of wonder. It's called the planet of hope. Exploring this planet is the team of Beau Yates and Lisa Huntington!" Victoria says.
"I didn't know there were planets on Earth." Brock says.
"It's fake, you idiot." Cynthia says.
Beau and Lisa appear in silver space suits speckled with blue stars and do their routine that is set to the song "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2.
Fans cheered for them.
Lucy was working on her poems while Cuphead made adjustments to his outfit.
"We're so going to win." Mark says.
"Ha, fat chance!" Cuphead says.
Soon, Mugman and Margo appear on stage in a garden-like setting, the planet of love. They perform the Sing 2 rendition of "I Say A Little Prayer".
The crowd is awestruck by their performance and gives them a standing ovation at the end as fans cheer for them.
"We're up next, Lucy!" Cuphead says.
Lucy gets ready.
"And now…the explorers of the planet of horror…Lucy Huntington and Cuphead!" Victoria says.
The couple came out in some vampire costumes and did their performance of "Paint It Black" by The Rolling Stones on a haunted castle stage.
Fans cheered and fell in love with this performance.
They soon finished. Both of them smiled as they left the stage.
Luke was smiling alongside Oliver.
"We were amazing out there!" Luke says to Oliver.
"Yeah!" Oliver says.
After the show…
"And we're retiring. Like people said, we just play heroes." Angry Luigi says.
"Oh, how pathetic!" A voice says as Card Shark growled and glared at Kali.
"Angry Luigi, do something!" Savannah says.
"I'm useless." Angry Luigi says, depressed.
Card Shark chases the Adventure Kids as Alex took out his swords.
"Come on Alem, we need you!" He says.
"Nah." Alem tuber says.
Kali ran alone as Card Shark grabbed her. Bill tossed a lasso, but Card Shark dragged it and swung Bill around and tossed him away.
Jason tries to punch Card Shark, who jumped up and tried punching Jason, who dodged. Card Shark shot water blasts as Alex and Jack tried attacking him, but he knocked them aside.
Brock punched Card Shark and keeps punching but Card Shark knocked him down
Cynthia and Kali entered a room as Card Shark entered. Kali and Cynthia were dressed as assassins. Card Shark was confused before David tripped as the kids split up again.
Kali runs, holding the crystal as she sees Emma.
"Cute baby." Kali says. Card Shark grabbed Kali, but Emma spit acid in his face.
"AH!" he screamed and went for a punch but Alem tuber punched him, then Angry Luigi stomped on him.
Then the brothers got ready and shot an energy blast and a lightning blast, sending him flying away through some buildings. There was an explosion with lightning sparks.
"Okay, back to retirement" Alem tuber says taking Emma with him.
"Thanks." Kali says with a smile as Angry Luigi sighed, nodding and walking off.
"That was awesome! They just took out the Card Shark in seconds" Brock says.
Kali and her friends walked to Luke's friend group.
Ann had tears in her eyes "Well, I guess this is goodbye." Ann says.
Luke grinned and pulled out a few invitations.
"For you all to attend my anniversary celebration later this month and my half birthday party this summer." Luke says.
"If we're available." Kali says.
"You're still invited regardless." Luke says. "I'd love to see my biggest fan again."
Kali smiled and looked at Ann, who squealed with pure excitement.
Meanwhile, Savannah and Tina performed on ANH. The crowd loved them.
Luna watched this and looked a bit nervous. Sam reassures her that they'll do great.
Soon it was Luna's turn. She and Sam went on stage and did an amazing job performing one of their favorite rock songs. Fans loved it.
After Luna and Sam, Carol and Connor performed. They were an amazing duo and performed well together.
Fans cheered as they performed.
Later, Savannah leads Tina to a dance room.
Confetti fell on her as Tina was stunned.
"Surprise, happy birthday!" Tina's family and the Cosmic buddies say, standing with the Adventure Kids.
"We helped decorate." Ann waves.
Tina smiled at this. "Awww, thanks, guys!" Tina says.
"I'm heading off." Jason says, heading home.
Tina hears her favorite 90s songs and smiled.
The party went on as David tried to dance with Cynthia like always, but Cynthia headed to be alone.
Angry Luigi eats some snacks, wondering how long his friendship with Luke would last, especially with their toxic families.
With Luke, he sat alone, tears in his eyes.
Lucy finds him. "Please, we're going to try and make your anniversary perfect. I did the planning and everything…"
Luke sniffed and stared at his past anniversary pictures.
Lucy winced as he always would look at the bad moments, which hurt. She just hated failing Luke. But it wasn't her that always failed him.
Tina got a cool remote car and smiled at this then Savannah got her cool earrings.
Bill and Deeders were chatting away like nerds. Cynthia sat down, listening to Oliver brag.
"So, Angry Luigi, after this you think we'll get another adventure? Cause I'm all fired up for one!" Kali says.
"Nope." Angry Luigi says.
Later in the party the Adventure Kids had to go.
"Please don't leave me!" Oliver sobbed, holding Cynthia's leg. He had lost love before and was pretty lonely for many days after.
"I'll be back." Cynthia says, dragging herself to the car.
Walter got ready. "Are you ready, kids?" He asked
"Yeah!" They say as the Cosmic buddies wave.
"So, what now?" Savannah asked.
"I might move back to Greendale. I mean, most people here hate me. Randy doesn't like it here anymore, especially that Lola girl." Angry Luigi says.
"Oliver is really desperate and I doubt we'll run into those Adventure Kids again." Emila says.
"Makes ya wonder about other heroes…" Savannah says.
Tina got ready to hit her piñata, which was a star piñata. She hit it so hard, candy fell.
With Luke, he stares at his pictures some more. He stops on one in particular. It was from his 3rd anniversary. The Louds hadn't even met him yet. It was when a different family abused him.
Luke sobbed and tore that picture to pieces. He didn't want to look at it anymore. He then looked at another picture, which was his first anniversary with the Louds.
"I hate them all!" Luke screamed. But he didn't hate Lucy, Lincoln, Luna, or even Leni.
"Luke hates us again…" Lana says
"Of course he hates us. He doesn't let go or forgive like Lincoln." Lola says.
Lincoln holds Luke, who sobs against him.
A Loud is going to get executed if there is a mistake. And the Adventure Kids won't appear for a while.
