A couple of months later
"Cassie let me introduce you to my business partner and my good friend Aaron Hotchner," Dave said, as he and another man she had never seen before approached her. She had heard a lot about Aaron Hotchner from Dave, but she had never actually met the man before now. She knew that Dave and Aaron were close, like brothers, as they had known each other forever, since childhood.
"It's very nice to meet you Mr. Hotchner," Cassie said shaking the man's hand politely, either not noticing or ignoring the sparks that appeared as soon as they touched, just like what had happened with Dave.
Dave who had been watching for it immediately saw the sparks and briefly smirked in satisfaction. His expression returned to normal a few seconds later before Cassie could look over in his direction.
"It's very nice to meet you Miss Silverthorne," Aaron said just as formally as Cassie had introduced herself. "Dave talks about you all the time. You can't really get him to shut up about you. It gets rather annoying. I can see what he was boasting about now. You are indeed a very gorgeous woman. I can see what he sees in you. I've been wanting to meet you for weeks now, but Dave has been keeping you all to himself."
Cassie blushed at the compliment Aaron had just handed her
"Our relationship is still pretty new you know," Dave snorted, though he wasn't really upset, as things were going according to plan.
It didn't shock Cassie how she reacted to Aaron, with the same intensity she had reacted to Dave. She had never in her whole life been so intensely attracted to two men, but since she knew why she was she just took it in stride. It was almost like picking up a live wire and being attracted to Aaron as well just doubled that feeling. Her hormones were certainly even more out-of-control than they were around Dave and seeing both men together was like being dumped in a volcano, as her blood pressure shot up until she felt like she was on fire on the inside. The fact, that both of them were looking at her hungrily, like they wanted to devour her quite literally only made her blood pressure go up further.
She knew very well that having two men as lovers, especially ones that knew about each other was not normal. Hell! She'd take both of them if they offered with no qualms. Yeah, she knew she hadn't initially wanted to give into Dave's asking for a date but she had against her better judgment at the time. Now she was not about to break it off unless he did, as she had grown attached in just a couple of months. Hell! Really, she was more than attached. She knew she was falling hard and fast for one David Rossi and she knew that she could fall just as hard for Aaron Hotchner if she allowed herself or even of she didn't she would likely fall for him if she kept hanging around him. She knew that neither would mind sharing.
To have two such a drop dead gorgeous men at her beck and call, would be a dream come true. Aaron was just as handsome as Dave with the same dark hair and brown eyes, but that was where the similarities ended. While Aaron was broad at the shoulder just like Dave he was a little taller and slimmer than Dave was. The two of them had very different body shapes. It was clear that both men had to work out as they had muscles on their arms and she assumed their legs, though those had always been covered by pants at least in Dave's case.
She could literally devour both men up and she suspected they wouldn't mind that at all considering the looks they were still sending her. The air around them was charged, with sexual tension.
"Please, call me Cassie, Miss Silverthorne is way too formal," Cassie said with a smile.
"I'm Aaron."
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Aaron," Cassie said with a bright smile. "I've heard a lot of good things about you from Dave."
"We had better go in or we're going to be late for our reservation," Dave said finally.
Dave had suggested to Cassie just the other day, that it was past time for her to meet Aaron, his business partner and one of his best friends. Dave had already met Cassie's friend Teri. Cassie had agreed with him and said that he had met Teri, so it was past time that she met Aaron. So here they were and Dave thought it was going very well at present. Of course, he knew, that could change in an instant when Cassie learned their real objective. Cassie was open-minded luckily and not unwilling to accept anything that didn't fit her worldview. Dave wasn't sure if she was going to freak out once they changed into their dragon forms or not. He supposed that they would have to wait and see on that one.
"This place must be pretty popular if you need a reservation for lunch," Aaron said.
"You act like you've never been out to eat," Cassie told Aaron shaking her head.
"Oh we've been out to eat," Dave intervened. "But we don't usually come to places like this. Actually, I'm an excellent cook and so we usually just eat at home."
"So you live together," Cassie said.
"Yeah, we do, as we're close as I'm sure Dave has told you," Aaron explained. "We have this big, old place that's too big for one person. There is room for both of us if we decide to get married and have a few kids."
"We enjoy each others company so much we didn't see the point of getting two places," Dave shrugged.
Neither him or Aaron mentioned Monica, their mate, as now wasn't the time to introduce her into the conversation.
"Yes, I see," Cassie agreed. "Me and Teri shared a place for awhile, but it became rather difficult to bring a guy over to our apartment if the other was there, not when we wanted privacy anyway, but you own a large house which gives you plenty of room for privacy if you want to have a female guest over."
"So you decided to get separate places," Aaron said, as he pulled out Cassie's chair for her.
"Yeah, but she lives right across the hall, so it's not like she went far," Cassie said smiling. "When the apartment across the hall became available Terri snatched it up. She'd been looking for another place to stay for awhile, somewhere close enough that we could visit every day if we wanted and that was perfect."
The three of them ordered lunch and continued to talk softly. As they waited for their lunch Aaron flirted lightly with her while Dave watched, also participating occasionally.
Dave didn't look the least jealous that his friend was also flirting with her, Cassie noticed. Normally, any guy that saw another man flirting with his girl would be furious or at least jealous, even if it was their best friend doing the flirting.
Dave however, was having the exact opposite reaction to what Cassie would have expected normally, but since she knew what was happening it wasn't exactly unusual in this case.
Dave really was an unusual man in several ways, but Cassie found that rather refreshing. It was clear that Dave wasn't after her just for her money, as he seemed to have plenty of his own. Also he wasn't at all arrogant about having plenty of money in the bank, like so many wealthy people were.
Finally, lunch arrived, and the three concentrated on their meals
"I can see why this place is so popular with the lunch crowd," Aaron said finally, after he was about halfway through his food. Around them sat mostly business people or young professionals who were enjoying their lunch before getting back to their workday.
Cassie was pleased, as it was a place she had suggested to Dave. It was a restaurant that she came too occasionally because she liked the food and the portions were generous, certainly more generous with the portions than those high class places that charged you an arm and a leg for much less food.
How such places stayed in business was beyond her, because it was price gouging at it's finest. Actually, she knew how to such places stayed in business, they got customers with too much money and too little common sense. People who didn't care about the price of the food so long as it was good. People like that never looked for a more reasonably priced place where the portions were larger and the food was just as good and sometimes better.
"We'll have to come back sometime," Dave said. "As much as I love my own cooking it won't hurt to eat out once in awhile."
"Certainly not," Aaron agreed, as he ate one of the last bites of his meal. "I certainly like the flavors and I don't think I've ever had Moroccan before."
"I certainly haven't. I might have to collect some Moroccan recipes and see if I can cook them," Dave said. "I have plenty of people to try any new recipes on."
"We can just come back sometime," Cassie said. "Maybe I'll bring Teri and you can get to know her, as she is my best friend."
"That sounds good," Aaron said agreeably looking quite content now that his belly was full.
"Sounds fine to me too," Dave said. "I like your friend, at least from what little I've seen of her."
"Good," Cassie said, as she finished to own meal.
The three of them chatted as they waited for their dessert, though Cassie planned on taking hers home, as she was stuffed. She had been an absolute pig and eating her whole meal instead of saving part of it for later. She couldn't do that very often all she was going to start gaining weight, which was a big no-no.
Their dessert arrived, though Cassie's was in a box.
"Don't have anymore room, huh?" Dave teased her.
"I'm afraid not," Cassie said. "If I eat anymore right now I'm probably going to explode, so I'll take this desert home and put it in the fridge and eat it tomorrow. I wasn't going to pass up the chance to get my favorite dessert from here, but it will have to be enjoyed at a later date, because as you can see I was a bit of a pig. Instead of taking a portion of my meal home I ate it all, which isn't like me."
"All of us have weak moments from time to time," Dave said. "Maybe you were hungrier the usual, so you ate all of your meal instead of half."
"If I keep that up I'll start to gain weight, which will be a pain to lose again," Cassie said.
"I don't think you need to worry about it from one meal," Aaron commented looking her up and down appreciatively, causing Cassie to blush at Aaron's heated regard. She then saw Dave looking at in the same manner and she blushed anew. She didn't believe she'd ever blushed so much in her life, that she had been doing lately when she met Dave and now Aaron was causing the same reaction in her body.
"I know a lot of women worry about their weight," Dave said. "At least that's what I've heard."
"Yeah, a lot of women do," Cassie agreed. "But really, there's no need to so long as they eat sensibly."
"Or exercise, as that way they can eat basically what they want," Aaron said. "Of course, I realize that a lot of women don't like to exercise or can't because they have some medical problems like a bad heart or bad asthma."
"Luckily, that's not my problem," Cassie said cheerfully. "I'm in excellent health according to my doctor."
"That's very good as I want you around for a long time to come," Dave mentioned with a grin.
"I can agree with that," Aaron said. "I'd definitely like to get to know you better. 'Much better'."
The way Aaron emphasized much better had Cassie blushing again, as she caught onto his meaning.
"I wouldn't be against that at all so long as Dave doesn't mind," Cassie said.
"I don't mind," Dave confirmed. "Aaron is my best friend and brother, even if that isn't biologically. I know that he'll show you the respect you deserve, just like I will. He's not the type to take advantage of a woman, just like I'm not."
"Well, I think we should get to know each other better before we even think about taking that step," Cassie said.
"I think that's sensible," Aaron agreed with a brilliant smile.
"Don't tell me you aren't married either," Cassie said only partly teasing.
"Nope," Aaron said with the shake of his head.
Of course, bonded is a whole different matter, Aaron thought silently. He supposed technically, bonding was the same as marriage at least among dracons, but it wouldn't be legal among the humans or any other species.
"I won't say I haven't dated some," Aaron shrugged causally.
Sure I dated, but that was way before Dave and I met Monica, which was over 300 years ago. Still, it's not like I'm lying, even if my dating experience is far in the past.
"If you told me you were a virgin I would know you were lying, as there is no way such a handsome man who was virgin," Cassie said a little boldly causing both Dave and Aaron to chuckle.
"Not with your strong personality and your confidence in yourselves," Cassie added. "You were bound to have girls and women both chasing after you."
"She's right, you have to admit," Dave told Aaron, as he slapped the other man on the shoulder in a friendly gesture.
"Yes, she is," Aaron chuckled again.
The three of them enjoyed their wine, as they chatted, but finally, Dave called for the waiter and asked for the check.
"Right away, sir," the the waiter said with a slight bow before briskly walking away obviously on a mission.
It was only a few minutes later that Dave was signing the bill and writing down a large tip, before the three of them rose and made their way out of the restaurant.
"I enjoyed myself very much Miss Cassie. We'll have to do this again soon," Aaron told Cassie as soon as they had gotten outside.
"Of course," Cassie agreed cheerfully. "Just let me know the time, though please, try to give me some advanced warning, in case I have an appointment or something."
"That's the only polite thing to do," Dave said smiling.
"We'll be in contact," Aaron promised, boldly kissing her cheek.
Cassie didn't object and instead looked rather pleased, as well as flushed from the heat of the kiss on her cheek.
They said their goodbyes and after Dave had kissed her on the lips the two men departed.
Cassie smiled as they disappeared then turned to get into her own car.
~~~Dave, Monica, Aaron, Cassie~~~
"She's more open-minded than I expected," Aaron told Monica as soon as they got home from their extended lunch. "At least she doesn't seem to have any problem with the idea of getting involved with two men as she doesn't seem like the type to date two at the same time, ones that know about each other and aren't jealous. To tell you the truth she doesn't seem like the type that would go for that kind of thing, but I suppose, it's all a matter of not being able to tell a book by it's cover."
"I have to agree," Dave said. "She even took me by surprise by how accepting of the suggestion she was and I'm not often surprised anymore."
"Neither am I," Aaron agreed.
"Well, think about it, she's bound to be having the same reaction to Aaron that she did to Dave the first time," Monica said. "The only difference really is that she isn't resisting Aaron's sexual vibes like she did with you originally Dave. That attraction, especially to both of you, would be at least double the strength then when just one of you is present."
"That's a very good point," Aaron said with respect in his tone for Monica's astute observation. "Once Cassie had checked with Dave to make sure it was all right with him she was very open to the idea, though she wants to get to know me better first, which I can understand."
"Well, you have to see it from her point of view she doesn't know that you're not human, like she likely believes she is. For humans, couples are the norm. I won't say that there aren't some humans who have two or even three guys or girls on tap just that it's not what's normal. At the very least she'd be considered a sexual deviant by most people, if anybody found that out she was having sex with two guys, ones that knew about each other at the same time," Monica said
"Of course she would, as most people are not so open-minded," Dave said. "From what I've learned about her parents though, they were apparently also pretty open-minded and while Cassie might've turned out differently from her parents she didn't in that way."
"Which is a good thing for us," Aaron said.
"Definitely," Dave agreed soberly. "Of course, she was rather resistant at first, but there's nothing wrong with being cautious as there are a lot of men that would take advantage of her, physically, emotionally, mentally and monetarily, so I can't blame her for being cautious. Anyone who doesn't probably has an ulterior motive or is very naïve."
"And they're are plenty of humans of both varieties," Monica said.
The other two were nodding, because if there was one thing they've learned over the centuries was that a lot of people could be greedy, even when they had plenty and some people were very innocent of the way the world worked, particularly women, though to be fair, a lot of that had to do with the parents who had tried to protect their kids from the realities of the 21st-century.
~~~Dave, Monica, Aaron, Cassie~~~
"Well, I didn't know you had a pool," Dave said, as he dived in.
"Technically, it was my parents pool," Cassie said with a shrug. "They had it put in when Rena was 10 or so. I think they didn't want to have one put in until then because children drown all the time and while we have servants they have their own duties. To watch us swim would put them behind on their chores, which meant that they wouldn't be able to go to bed until they were done. The servants need their rest to as lack of sleep can cause mistakes or accidents."
"Well, it sounds like your parents were very considerate," Aaron said impressed. "I hate to say it, but a lot of the wealthy set tend to be thoughtless. At least they don't think about the fact that servants need just as much rest as they do in order do their jobs efficiently."
"Most of the higher class consider someone that works for them a part of the furniture," Dave added.
"Sad, but true," Cassie admitted without getting upset or angry at Dave for he was speaking the truth. "I went to enough parties and social events when I was growing up to know that most servants are ignored unless they're to be berated for something or ordered to do something. There are those of my set though, that are very kind to their servants, even consider then family."
"Like your parents," Aaron said.
"And luckily, they weren't the only ones," Cassie shrugged, as she started swimming again.
Cassie was a excellent swimmer both men noticed. She swam like a fish, slicing through the water quickly and effortlessly.
Aaron and Dave followed her and though, water wasn't their natural habitat they still enjoyed themselves. Both were excellent swimmers and it was lucky, they were because there had been times in the past where the only way to escape was through the water, unless you wanted somebody to know that you were a dragon shifter, which was very dangerous thing to do back then. Much, much too risky unless there was no other choice. Of course today it was worse.
Cassie kept moving her legs in the water to keep herself afloat, even as she splashed the two men. Her expression was rather playful.
"Catch me if you can," Cassie called, as she dove back into the water and took off at speed.
Dave and Aaron sputtered at being so throughly splashed when they hadn't been expecting it and looked at each other both thinking the same thing.
They both simultaneously dived back into the water and chased after Cassie who was way ahead of them.
Finally, Cassie came up for air just as Aaron and Dave caught up with her.
She was smiling as Dave and Aaron finally emerged from the water. "Man, you're fast," Aaron said admiringly.
"You swim like a fish smooth and slick," Dave added truthfully.
"Swim team at my private school," Cassie told them. "I won several awards. I try to keep in practice."
"It's a great way to exercise," Dave said.
"Especially if you really enjoy it," Aaron added.
"Yes, it is a great way to maintain my weight and I try to come at least twice a week, sometimes more," Cassie said. "It all depends on my schedule."
Cassie was pleased at both her men had reacted when she splashed them and then beat them in a race. They hadn't tried to claim she had cheated because of her head start and they took it all in good fun, which was the right attitude, as it hadn't really been a challenge or a competition. She know from experience that many men would claim she cheated whether she had a head start or not, just because they were the type that absolutely had to win and be the best at anything they tried, especially when it was a female that beat them. Many men felt as if their pride was wounded if they got beaten by someone they considered just a girl and therefor weak, especially when it came to some sort of challenge or competition.
However Dave and Aaron had simply accepted that this time she had won, which told her that while they probably liked a challenge they didn't have to win at any cost.
This was very good in Cassie's opinion, as that meant they knew when it was serious competition and when it was all in good fun and so there probably wouldn't be very many arguments whenever they were doing something like that.
"So had enough for now?" Dave asked stretching lazily and Cassie couldn't help but stare at Dave's abs and the water just dripping down his chest, which made them glisten. She was surprised her heart wasn't beating even harder as Dave with only swim trunks on was absolutely gorgeous. His black hair was soaked, but that only made him more beautiful in Cassie's humble opinion. She resisted the sudden very strong urge to run her hand though Dave's wet hair. She looked at Aaron and she had the same reaction as Aaron's abs were also wet and dripping water, as was his hair. Both men had nice bodies as both arms and legs were heavily muscled and their chests and stomachs were just as they should be.
The fact that Dave was wearing dark blue swim trunks with silver stripes on the side didn't help. Aaron's swim trunks were red with black stripes and both men looked utterly delectable in them.
"I suppose so," Cassie finally said, trying to hide her bodily reaction.
Both Dave and Aaron had noticed Cassie staring at them very distracted and they briefly smirked at each other in satisfaction.
"We can always come back sometime," Cassie said. "Me and Rena still own mom and dad's property. We have no intention of selling as there is no need too. It's been in the family for generations. I'm sure that when one of us gets married one of us will want to live here, as there is no point of buying a place when we already have one."
"There is nothing wrong with valuing something your parents owned. I'm assuming this is where you and your sister grew up. In fact, it just shows you loved your parents or you might have tried to sell the house, just to get rid of it," Aaron said.
"It's not like Rena or I need to do so, as we have plenty of money of our own and yes, we did grow up here, which is another reason we're not going to sell, as there are many happy memories here and I value them," Cassie said.
The three of them headed inside the house's side door to take showers and get dressed in different outfits, that they had been warned by Cassie to bring.
"So what about lunch before you guys head home?" Cassie suggested.
"Sounds good. I only hope you warned the cook in advance that we would be eating here so that he or she had time to prepare," Dave said.
"I did," Cassie promised. "It was the polite thing to do and besides, Old Gerda used to watch me and my sister sometimes when the nanny had the day off. Rena and me love Old Gerda, and she used to feed us tidbits from wherever she was making."
"Sounds like a nice way to spend a few hours," Aaron mentioned smiling.
"It was," Cassie said smiling as she remembered. "Well, I'll go tell Old Gerda that we're ready for some lunch, as I, for one, am starving. Swimming like that always makes me hungry."
"Us to," both men answered at the same time, causing Cassie to laugh lightheartedly, even as she headed towards the kitchen that was down the hall on the main level.
