It Was Because of You
This is the first time I'm writing in over fifteen years so bare with me. I'm sure my writing skills have not improved too much since highschool and I apologize in fic is ooc. Not going to lie you will cringe a bit. Set during New moon during bella's depression. She doesn't know Jacob and he's human at least for now.

"I can't wait for the show. It's going to be epic!" Jessica squealed next to my ear.
It was so loud in the venue. So many people were there. Many people packed in like sardines. They were all stoked. The newest and most famous band around was playing in Port Angeles. My friends were more excited than I was. I promised Charlie I'd do more things with my friends. It was that or go live with my hairbrained mother in Jacksonville. I missed him. I didn't want to move away from the only place that reminded me of him.
Jessica bought us our tickets in the front row. I was to Jessics's right and Angela next to her. The girl that sat to my left (who was gorgeous btw) told me how much she spent on her ticket which included a vip pass and my jaw dropped. Who would spend that much money on a concert ticket? They are just human beings who can play music. No big whoop. Not like his musical talent at all. He was perfect. I thought he was perfect, but if he was why would he leave me?
The band started with bold beats and thunderous booms. Guitar riffs and pyrotechnics. Angela and Jessica started screaming and then singing along to the song. I didn't know one lyric. I sat there silently and sulked. The lights were so bright against the darkness and it was giving me a headache. I didn't really want to be there at all. The music was not my favorite by any means. I actually hated music ever since he left me in the woods. Abandoned me. Left me to rot in agony.
A few songs in and it was intermission. I got up to get some fresh air. I started walking to clear my mind from all the loudness. My mind was anywhere than where it should be and before I knew it, I was in a dark alley with no sense of how I got there. Suddenly I looked up and a man from the shadows appeared in front of me.
"Give me your wallet!" He shouted at me. I Remembered I had pepper spray somewhere… oh yeah. It was in Jessica's car. I started slowly backing away, then I realized he had a knife on him. I froze terrified. I didn't make a move. I was hoping one of my friends would notice I was gone and come looking. "Turn away." his velvet voice directed me where to go. I was still panicking and then I saw him. Not the man who left me. Not the man I could no longer say his name. This man was much taller and more built. He looked so familiar. I know I've seen him from somewhere, but i couldn't put my finger on it. Then he confronted the stranger and shouted "Back off! Get away from her!" The man with the knife jabbed at him but he dodged him and punched him in the face, then in the stomach. The man doubled over groaning. My savior told me to follow him, to hurry and I agreed. I ran out of the alley and when we were out of danger we stopped by the back door to the venue.
"I've never had the time to introduce myself. My name's Jacob, Jacob Black."
Then it hit me. He was on stage. He's the lead singer in the band that was performing tonight.
"I'm Bella." I said shyly. He placed his hand out and we shook hands.
"I better get back before the guys wonder what's up." He met up with his bodyguard at the door and he led him in.
I don't think he knew I was at the concert. I don't really look like someone who would be. Everyone here had their band shirts on. Some had vibrant shades of pink or purple in their hair. Does he think I know who he is?
I went back inside to the venue to meet my friends. I don't think they'll believe me when I tell them. Maybe I won't tell them who saved me. I don't want Jessica to be jealous. She was a bit jealous when I was with him. She told me there wasn't anyone good enough for E… I still couldn't say his name.
I was shaking so bad from what almost happened. I was unable to remember my seat, and then I saw Jessica and she came running up to me. She saw the look on my face.
"Oh my god Bella! What happened? Are you ok? Do you want to go home?" I thought about it and I didn't want to ruin everyone's evening. They had been looking forward to this for so long. I didn't want to burden anyone. I'd stay for the rest of the show. Nothing actually happened anyway. I was almost mugged, but was saved by a rockstar.
"I'm ok. I'm fine. I was almost mugged, but someone saved me. I was rescued."
"Oh I'm so thankful you are alive. I shouldn't have taken you here. I just thought it would have been a fun time going out. It's been months Bella and "
The lights started flashing and the drums Interrupted her mid sentence. I looked up when he started singing. Maybe I should tell my friends. Then he spotted me since I was in the front row. Now I was trying to hide. I hated being in the spotlight. Maybe he did think I was a huge fan because next thing I knew he was calling me up on stage.
