That evening, Gabrielle was standing on a roof across the street from Lina's apartment.
"There's been no sighting of the enemy, ma'am," said a man in tactical gear as he stood next to Gabrielle.
"Don't let your guard down," said Gabrielle.
"Our enemy is a God after all so who knows what he will try to do," she said before using binoculars to look through the windows and into the apartment. Meanwhile, inside the apartment, she was sitting on the couch while talking on the phone.
"No mom, I was just wondering if her name would sound familiar to you," said Lina.
"No, she's not an ex or anything like that," she said.
"Hang on, I just heard something," said Lina while standing and heading toward a bookshelf. When she was a foot away from the shelf a snake suddenly tried to strike her in the face but Lina pulled back in time to miss it.
"Ah!" screamed Lina, which Gabrielle and the others heard.
"Move in!" said Gabrielle into a walkie. A team inside the building then knocked the door down while storming into Lina's apartment loaded with weapons.
"Apep found her, the place is compromised!" said an agent while snakes appeared out of nowhere. As they appeared, the team shot them in their little reptile heads which made them vanish into a puff of smoke.
"Get her out and back to the base, now!" said Gabrielle who was running down a staircase.
"What… what's going on?!" asked Lina while being guided toward the door.
"You'll get your answer once we… agh!" said a team member as a giant snake broke through the floor to eat him whole.
"Oh God," said a terrified Lina who had fallen backwards onto her butt out of fear, her whole body trembling at the sight of the creature. However, the other agents quickly picked her up while shooting the snake.
"Out the windows!" said an agent while shooting one out. They all then jumped, wings spreading out of the agent's backs and allowing them to fly away.
"Just what is going on today?!" asked a terrified Lina who was forced to look down at the city while flying away with two agents holding her by the arms.
