The Origami twin's father had kept his word, as Izuku found him chatting with Inko when he and Olly returned from school. Olly blocked his face with his collar and increased the speed of his walk.
"Oh, Olly!" He waved.
The Origami Craftsman, as he was called, was a short, chubby man with fair skin and pale green hair. It was pulled back into a ponytail with a white bandana that held small green polka dots on it. His long-sleeved shirt was a pleasant blue, with a brown apron tied into a large bow at the back.
"No wonder where she gets her love of large bows..." Izuku muttered, speaking of Olivia.
"Owen..." Olly said.
"Oh, so we're still doing that, huh?" He sounded upset, but not deeply.
"You should go back home."
"What? But I miss you and Olivia! And Izuku's mother is very sweet."
She blushed a little. "Aww, thank you!"
Olly raised an eyebrow. "Now is not the time to flirt with somebody else's mother."
"Olly, why are you being so rude all of a sudden? Are you really that upset I wanted to meet your friends?"
Olly eyed Izuku. "I have no friends, as I have no time for them."
"Well, I surely believe you do. As you have no kingdom and all-"
"So now you're bringing that up? What did I tell you about that?!"
Izuku cringed. That conversation was not going to end well.
"I am your father, so you have no control over me, whether you are royalty or not!" The Origami Craftsman began to raise his voice.
Olly huffed. "Well, I still disowned you, so you are not my father. You're just another fool under my rule, and I suggest you don't get on my bad side." He turned on his heel and stormed off to his room, slamming the door shut. He poked his head back out. "And that's wasn't an accident!" He slammed it shut again.
"Shokunin's been acting strange all day," Izuku told. "He's been really ticked off all morning, and tried to chokehold Kachaan. He almost got his face blown off..."
"Ah, don't mind him! He doesn't like me all too much, so he's probably just upset I'm here." He smiled. "I am the Origami Craftsman, Owen Shokunin." His smile faded a bit. "It has just occurred to me that my surname means Craftsman...Apparently I really am not all that creative...Olly told me that once, and now I'm starting to believe he was right."
"How good are you?"
He let out a hearty laugh. "I say I'm pretty good for doing origami all the time. Sun up to sun down, everyday. People say I'm a little obsessed..."
"No wonder."
"I folded Olly, after all. Before he...betrayed me and trapped me in a wall..."
"Why a wall?"
Owen shrugged. "I'm not sure. He did the same to both Olivia and Luigi-"
"Luigi?! As in the Mario Brothers?! The Luigi?!"
Owen nodded. "I see you are a fan! Luigi is my favorite as well. He reminds me of how Olly used to be before he...betrayed me..."
"Shokunin knows the Mario Brothers?"
"Knows? He battled Mario!"
That statement was clearly unwanted, as Olly tossed his shoe at Owen's head. He rushed over, picked it up, and pointed it at his face angrily.
"I told you to not tell! And you promised..." His eyes began to water.
"Oh, a friendly 1-v-1?" Izuku asked.
"Right, you're right." Owen pat Olly on the back as he rubbed his head. "I know, I'm sorry. I'll be more careful from now on. Okay?"
Olly sniffled. "You promise...?"
"I promise."
"I didn't mean to be so upset at you...I just heard the news you were coming to visit and my thoughts kept telling me you were disappointed in me and-and..."
"Disappointed? Why, I never! I told you before, I'm proud of you! You just need to work on that temper of yours first before you are responsible enough for your own castle!" He winked.
Olly sat down at the table as Inko went into the kitchen. "I'm sorry I've been upset all morning, Midoriya."
"About those thoughts..."
Olly shook his head. "Don't mention it. I'm sure I'm just being hard on myself, as usual."
"So you're the Legendary Izuku Midoriya I heard of. You know, Hole Punch and Tape made you sound more...older. And stronger..."
"That's those two for you," Olly said. "They tend to stretch the truth a bit to get people interested in what they're talking about. Especially since both of them are stuck in the past...And maybe Scissors too, now that I think about it...And they're all based off of pieces of my personality..."
Nobody was listening to him anymore, because Inko returned with a plate of cookies. "Cookie? I made them for Shokunin, but you can have some too, Izuku."
"Does that mean I'm stuck in the past?!" Olly blurted out suddenly, making Izuku almost drop his cookie.
"Took him long enough," Owen sighed. "Anywho..." He grabbed a cookie from the plate. "I heard you have a power? Do you mind telling me what it is? I'm curious."
"It's enhanced strength, stamina, defence, ect. ect..."
"Superhuman attributes," Olly said. "He forgot the name when he forgot to tell me about it."
"Well, you left out the part about you being able to shape shift!" Izuku shot back. "You forgot to label 'Manifold" as one of your Quirks."
"I...have no idea what that means..."
"To have many features or forms," Owen muttered. "Yeah, that sounds like your folding ability. The Vellumentals are, by far, the most impressive. Then that means you still have Fold of life here?"
Olly nodded. "It sounds pretty stupid compared to my classmate's Q-abilities."
"What did you start saying before you fixed it?" Owen tilted his head. Izuku realized Olly got it from his creator.
"I've been here too long already."
"Quirk," Izuku explained. "Superhuman abilities, basically. Like Shokunin's Fold of Life and Manifold."
"Ah, I see. Well, it really was a pleasure meeting you, but I must be going! I need to be at Peach's Castle by eight, and it's already six-thirty." He bowed to Izuku and Inko. "I hope to see you again!"
"Good riddance!" Olly called to him as he exited the door.
The Origami Craftsman understood he didn't really wish him to leave and gave him a bow as well. Olly shut the door and sighed.
"Why do I love him? He ruined my life that day and yet he was still so kind..."
"Are you alright?" Inko asked, coming over to him.
"Oh? Yes, I'm alright. I appreciate your concern, Mrs. Midoriya, but I am fine." He started towards his room. "And I'm going to get some rest. See you tomorrow."
"Night," Izuku said as Olly shut the door.
