Chapter 4
Third Person POV
After a long night of sleep, the group was back on the road, walking in a straight line, an awkward silence was in the air with everyone sporting a glooming face, most of them at least, Nabe's face was still as expressionless as ever, Momon's was hidden by the helmet just like Link's was hidden by his hood so theirs were impossible to see.
Ninya, who is in the middle, steals a look at Momon, who is at the back of the line and then turns his head forward again, Link notices it and looks at Momon, remembering what happened earlier in the morning.
They were all awakened, Link wasn't too worried about sleeping outside since his high senses would've woken him but that didn't mean danger could be taken lightly.
As the group is preparing to hit the road Link sees Ninya approaching Momon.
"Momon-san, I'm really sorry about last night." Ninya bows to the dark warrior, his words are genuine, but the full-plated knight doesn't say anything.
Link couldn't stop himself from frowning at the sight, what Ninya said might have hurt him, but the boy was truly sorry and was apologizing, the least Momon could do was say something.
'*sigh* Let it go, Link, this is between Momon and Ninya.' Link tells himself.
Link likes to believe Momon regretted not saying anything, at least that's what the hylian is getting for the way the warrior's shoulders are moving since they are stiff and not relaxed as Momon walks on the road.
'Goddesses dammit, why does this hero complex have to make me feel obliged to get into misunderstandings and drama that have nothing to do with me.' Link thought.
"This place has a nice view", Lukrut says. Since he is in the lead turning around for small talk wasn't a good idea in the case of an ambush in Link's opinion. "I don't think we need to walk in formation."
'I do.' Link tells himself, glad to say it in his head for his voice would've come out squeaky if he said it to the others.
"It's important to not let your guard down", Peter says, Link nods in agreement.
"That's right! The greatest enemy is the lack of caution." Dyne says.
"Always expect… the unexpected." Link says.
"Link is right. A dragon could attack us from afar." Ninya says.
The group heard a strange sound and dust was the only thing left where Link was standing before the hylian was found next to Ninya, grabbing the petite boy by the shoulders with eyes shining like stars on the darkest of nights.
"There are dragons? …where? …how many? …what kind?" Link's voice sounded excited but also too slow for his tastes, he cursed his speech impediment, the topic of dragons was too much for him to keep a composed behavior, dragons are, after all, the most iconic creatures in all medieval fantasies. 'Elves are second, orcs are third.'
"He is exaggerating Link", Lukrut says. "There used to be stories about dragons on the outskirts of E-Rantel, but that was centuries ago."
"It is not an exaggeration", Ninya says while getting out of Link's grasp, surprised by how anxious the topic of dragons made the hylian feel. "There were legends about a dragon that could control nature and shatter the sky and shake the earth."
"Was it strong? …is it still alive?" Link regained his composure, but the shiny smile and stare continued.
"I… don't remember Link, these were rumors I've heard", Ninya says, disappointed in himself at how Link looked sad about no dragons. "But I also heard that north of the Azerlisia mountains some frost dragons took a nest."
Link's excitement returns, his eyes looking directly at said mountains, they are visible even from all this distance, the top is covered in snow, obviously created by the high altitude since winter has not begun, in other words, a snowy mountain and perfect place for Ice Dragons to have a nest.
Link looks at Momon, already deciding what his next adventure will take him, dragons are said to harvest treasures and many rare items, some of them with magical properties. This is the kind of adventure Link was looking for and he would not waste this opportunity now that it was presented to him. He walks to the dark warrior with the intention of inviting him, adventures are funnier when you have a party and with Momon onboard he would have someone to watch his back and they both wouldn't need to worry about each other since they saw how they could take care of themselves.
"After the job is finished… I'm going to Azerlisia… want to go with me? …want to fight dragons?" Link asks. If what he saw from Momon is correct he is someone who craves for adventures and can't refuse its call when it comes to him, so Link is sure that the chance to fight a dragon was something Momon couldn't refuse.
"A tempting offer Link". Momon says, Link is almost jumping but the black armored warrior raises a hand. "I will accept, but only if there is no problem that needs my attention after we finish our current job. Does that sound acceptable to you?"
Link nods at Momon and raises his hand at him for a high five, Momon just tilts his head to the size, not understanding the meaning of Link's action and making the hylian slap himself inside his mind for forgetting that this gesture is not from medieval times. Link grabs Momon's hand who tries to push it back but relents once he sees Link brings it to his other hand and hits both palms on each other.
"High… Five." Link smiles and Momon nods, understanding what the gesture means.
What Link doesn't know though is that Momon knows what the gesture means, he just never did it for a very specific reason.
'In my old world, the air is so contaminated that germs are everywhere, and people are forced to wear special clothes outside so physical contact can be possible, but even then people refrain from doing it unless the circumstances demand it, because of that I never did a high five in all my life. It was a nice gesture, maybe Link was right about opening myself but, I don't think I'm ready, nor that I ever will be', Momon says inside his head.
"What was the name of this dragon that could control nature?" Momon looks at Ninya after he and Link get some distance. 'I need to be careful if dragons exist. On YGGDRASIL dragons were the strongest creatures, lore-wise they could live forever, they also got stronger with age, and depending on their type they could develop magic resistance and grow too durable to be hurt by normal weapons.'
Ninya smiles, happy that Momon apparently forgave him and is talking to him again.
"I don't know, but after we return I'll check the city's library". Ninya says.
"Hmm, Would you help me find out if time permits?" Momon asks.
"Of course". Ninya says, nodding to the dark warrior.
"What about you Link?" Momon turns to the hylian walking beside him. "We can't just go heads in into the dragon's den without preparing."
"Knowledge… is power". Link thinks on the matter, one hand holding his chin as he closes his eyes. 'He is right, man, I would've gone blindly on an adventure to fight a dragon without making the right preparations. In the games I had fought many dragons, but something tells me the dragons here are more like Dark Souls and Elden Ring than The Legend of Zelda."
Link nods to Momon, after the hylian does it everyone else does the same making Momon feel a little bit of shame due to this only happening because he didn't respond to Ninya when he apologized, if the situation was the other way around he might've dealt with it easier as the oldest one in the group.
"Everyone, we are arriving at Carne village". Nfirea says.
It didn't take long after Nfirea told them that they arrived, it was still a few hundred meters away but from where they stood the entire village was visible, three of them realized something different about Carne when it was in their sight.
'Well, looks like someone had been busy with the defenses.' Link comments inside his head.
"What happened?" Nfirea whispers but the ranger and the hylian have heard him.
"Something wrong Nfirea?" Lukrut asks.
"That huge wood fence wasn't there the last time I came". Nfirea tells the group, getting worried about what could've happened since his last visit.
Link notices the nervousness growing inside the herbalist and sighs in defeat, better give him the stick since there is no happy-ever-after ending to what happened with this poor village.
"Village attacked… a few days ago… many died". Link tells and all eyes turn at him, surprise on all their faces except Momon and Nabe. Nfirea starts to sweat in fear.
"An attack, how?" Nfirea asks.
"How do you know about it Link-san?" Peter asks.
"Soldiers came… I was here with Gazef… help defend the village". Link tells them while the memories of the day it happened fly throughout his mind.
"You've met Warrior Captain Gazef?" Momon asks him, unknown to the hylian his intent was to make Link distance the image of the dark warrior Momon from the sorcerer Ainz Ooal Gown.
Link nods to Momon.
"Why were soldiers attacking?" Peter asks.
"Gazef… they attacked the villages to draw the warrior captain and kill". Link says.
"Other villages were attacked too?" Dyne asks, Link nods in response.
"Many… Carne was the last… saved it from evil mages from the Slane Theocracy who were disguised as soldiers of the Baharuth Empire". Link tells them, just making it even more confusing.
"Why would the Theocracy do this?" Peter asks but doesn't have much time to think about it and is interrupted.
"We have to go. I need to see if they are okay. I need to…". Nfirea was hyperventilating.
Link puts his hand on the boy's back and gives him small slaps to calm down.
"Take a breath". Peter says and looks at Link. "Link-san, what was the state of the village when you arrived?"
"It was normal… after arriving… someone else already saved them". Link says.
"Who?" Lukrut asks, but Link refuses to answer and just shakes his head.
"Not my right… to tell". Link says, making someone happy.
"Did you see the villagers? Can you tell me about the survivors?" Nfirea asks taking deep breaths and trying to remain calm while Link supports him.
"Saw no villagers… only interacted with the chief… and the savior". Link tells him.
"I should've been here". Nfirea comments and Link shakes his head again.
"It's already over… can't change the past". Link tells him, he tries to calm the boy and gives him support, he knows news like this can affect a person and make them act rashly and do stupid things.
"Let's go, we have to get there". Nfirea says at a fast pace, still nervous about what has happened.
They all proceeded back on course; many eyes were on Link, but no one said a word. Momon seeing that Link would not spill the beans about Ainz Ooal Gown decides to ask the unasked questions, so the air of nervousness could be dissipated.
"What were you doing with the warrior captain?" Momon asks the hylian.
"Found abandoned village… the captain was investigating so I decided to go with him". Link tells him remembering his first meeting with Gazef.
"Can you tell me about these villages?" Momon asks.
"*nods* …Carne was the last… but many were burned to the ground, few survived and were sent to E-Rantel… Gazef and I found the responsible and captured their leader after arriving at Carne". Link says, making 'oooh' sounds resonates among the group.
"Do you know why they were attacking villages? Surely they wouldn't need to go to such heights only to draw the warrior captain's attention". Peter asks.
"*shakes head* Gazef took the person responsible for the attacks to the capital". Link says. 'Although it could be because of religious reasons, Nigun told me that the Theocracy follows the Six Great Gods while the RE-Estize Kingdom and the Roble Holy Kingdom follow the four gods.'
"What a cruel world we live in where men kill innocent villagers for no reason". Dyne says.
"It is a good thing you were there, Link-san, and also this mysterious savior, whoever he is he is a good person for helping those in need". Ninya says, not noticing Momon turning his head slightly to the side at this comment.
"He has… my respect". Link smiles, his speech impediment returned but the memory of Ainz helping the village has overthrown it for a few moments.
"Do you want to meet him again?" Momon asks.
Link nods in response and smiles, making Momon do the same inside his head, there is something about the hylian that reminds him of his former friends.
They started getting closer to the village, Nfirea was still nervous, it was obvious to the hylian that the boy had someone he cared about there, with each step Link could hear movement through the grass, not one but many, he decided to keep quiet to not warn whoever or whatever is hiding in the grass about his awareness.
At the gates, to the surprise of everyone, a group of goblins was waiting for them. Link just observes as Lukrut takes his bow with one of the goblins and does the same in response.
"Why there are there goblins here?" Lukrut asks no one.
"Who the hell are you?" The goblin archer asks.
When the time came Link made his movement, out of the grass a group of goblins came out, all armed with weapons and aiming at Link and his companions, one of them, the leader Link supposed, demanded them to drop their weapons. One of the goblins approached Link from behind but the hylian was prepared, with a back flip Link lands behind the Goblin who was trying to submit him and grabbed it by the collar with one arm, wrapping it around its neck, then, unsheathing Fierce Deity from his back with his other hand, Link threatens to decapitate the goblin with one gesture, it didn't make the other goblins stop but they stuttered on their stance for a second.
'Those sharp senses are definitely on par with Aura'. Momon speaks inside his mind as he watches Link take the goblin hostage.
"Wait, wait". One of the goblins yells, probably the leader. "We don't want to fight you if necessary. Especially the one in the black armor and the one with the hood."
Link isn't moved since it could be a trap to make them lower their guard, the hylian had to give them credit though, despite having one of them as hostage they didn't drop their guard regarding Link's companions.
"You both emit an aura of danger". The goblin says making Link narrow his eyes and press the tip of his sword against his hostage making a drop of blood flow down its cheek.
"Want me… to drop weapon?" Link asks and the leader nods quickly after seeing the blood dripping from his companion's face. "You… first."
All the goblins were clicking their tongues, Link wouldn't be the first to lower his guard, not when he and all his companions were under the goblins' mercy, if there is one thing he learned days ago on his first quest of goblin slaying is that they are treacherous creatures, and these ones are clearly stronger, faster, and smarter than the ones of the nest he destroyed.
'Could they have killed the villagers and taken their homes as their own?' Link asks himself, wondering what could've happened.
"Goblin-san, what is happening?" A girl, probably a villager, suddenly appeared, talking to the chief goblin.
"Chief!" He says, making Link tilt his head in confusion, thinking how exactly this hierarchy works.
"Enri!" Nfirea says, his nervousness caused by Link's telling of the attack and then by the goblins' appearance soon replaced by relief.
"Nfirea". Enri says with a smile, joining her hands together.
'So, he is the friend she told me about'. Momon thought, remembering his first meeting with Enri when he saved her from the Theocracy soldiers and their brief talk about magic before erasing her memories after giving her a red potion of cure.
"IT'S YOU!" Enri yells with a smile, looking at Link who was letting go of the goblin and apologizing for using him as a meat shield, but during this action, his hood had fallen from his head when he bowed to the goblin while apologizing, making all eyes fall on him.
Link blushes, not out of shame or shyness, but because of his carelessness, and quickly goes for his hood to put it back on immediately but is stopped when Enri runs at him and hugs him with so much strength that Momon was sure the hylian would be out of breath if he wasn't level 100.
"I never got the chance to thank you for protecting us". Enri says while still holding Link, who has a blank expression on his face, in her arms, raising him out of the ground like a rag doll and then putting him back down. "Thank you. For protecting all of us."
Link puts his hood back on and nods at Enri, he doesn't want to talk about it, Enri's village needed help against evil people and Link helped, he just did what everyone able to help should do when in his position, to him there is no need for gratitude for just doing what is right.
"No need for thanks…" Link points to Nfirea. "He is the one you really want to talk to."
Nfirea blushed at the way Enri was looking at him. When she wasn't looking, Nfirea was on the verge of pouting out of jealousy for seeing her hugging the hylian but stopped when he saw Link looking at him for a moment during that hug, telling him with his eyes that he wouldn't stand in their way and showing his lack of interest in Enri, and was thankful to Link when he told Enri to talk to Nfirea. Link doesn't want to cause a rift between them, he could see by how Nfirea acted and talked that his feelings for Enri are genuine, and he would not be a stone that could divide such a beautiful example of true love.
With no more misunderstandings, they all enter the village, Nfirea has gone with Enri to her house to talk. Peter and the rest of the Swords of Darkness had decided to get some rest and they all sat under a tree to talk. Momon and Nabe decided to go to the top of a nearby hill to observe the village, and Link decided to go with them, he would trade cities and villages for the peace and quiet of nature any day.
After reaching the top of the hill Link lets Nabe and Momon alone and get some distance from them, sitting under a nearby tree he takes his ocarina out of his inventory and starts playing another song on it.
Lost woods
'That is a catchy song.' Momon comments in his head while observing the village. "So, Link… Don't stop on me, I just want to know if you agree with me".
The hylian looks at the dark warrior with gratitude for not needing to stop playing the song and nods to the dark warrior, also glad for his high senses so the song wouldn't get in his way of listening to Momon.
"You told me you were here a few days ago and helped protect the village". Momon didn't ask a question and didn't expect a nod from the hylian but received one nonetheless, he appreciated how the hylian was always polite with him and everyone else. "Did they look capable of fighting and of archery when you were here last time?"
Link doesn't need to stop and think of an answer, those villagers couldn't handle anything but garden and farm tools when he first came to this place.
"I see". Momon says after receiving a shake from the hylian. "That is impressive."
"How so?" Nabe asks.
"These people lost their families and friends, they never fought or handled weapons before, now, just a few days later, they already have the basic knowledge of archery, it doesn't look much if compared to someone with years of experience, but it is a great improvement". Momon says, nodding his head after Link does the same, showing his agreement with Momon.
"I see, I'm sorry for noticing it before". Nabe lowers her head making the hylian shake his since it was a common mistake.
"There is nothing to forgive Nabe, I'm not judging you, and neither is Link". Nabe looks at the hylian who nods at her, showing that he agrees with Momon's words, making Nabe bow slightly to the hylian in appreciation, believing his presence and point of view is what made her master soften his heart to her about the mistake committed, which she believes, should've been paid with her life. "Are you an archer Link?"
Link nods at the question and thinks about his arrows, he has confirmed he is able to make elixirs, and now there was the matter of his other limited items like bombs, special arrows, and related. In Tears of a Kingdom and Breath of the Wild the player needed to find specific items to create special arrows, while in Ocarina of Time, the player only needed normal arrows as the special arrows counted as spells and consumed magic.
'Although bombs might not be a problem, they are runes created by my Sheikah Slate, which I'm glad for, I was horrible in chemistry class, so I doubt I would be able to invent the gunpowder in this world to create more bombs'. Link chuckles inside his mind at the thought, somehow not missing a single note of the song while doing it. 'Arrows though, I'll have to figure it out, they either work like the new games or the old ones in this New World.'
"I see. You have training in all combat areas then?" Momon asks, receiving another nod from the hylian. 'I wonder if this is enough to cross him from my suspicion of being a player, back on YGGDRASIL while it was possible to learn many different job classes when playing warrior characters, Link's ability with a sword is far above what one could achieve if they had a swordsman job class and an archery job class at the same time. Maybe he was just born in this world and has a talent that allows him to be a weapon master of every fighting style.'
"Can you show us?" Nabe asks with her usual emotionless face making Momon cheer because of it and feel scared at the same time for her bluntness.
"…Okay" Link stops playing his ocarina and puts it back in his inventory, still putting his hand inside his rupee bag whenever he needs to take away or put back any object in his inventory. Sooner or later, he would have to test his archery so no better moment than the present to do it, plus, a small demonstration might help the villagers improve.
Taking his Fairy Bow and a normal arrow from his bag Link aims at one of the targets the villagers are using for practice, the distance is over a hundred meters away, making Momon and Nabe wonder how far the target needs to be for him to miss, despite their reservations about people from outside Nazarick they couldn't stop themselves from feeling curious. Link pulls the string of his bow, focused on the target, then, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, when he opens them again he lets go of the string, but something unexpected happens, after Link lets go of the arrow he feels his magic drop and the arrow was on fire, then, in less than a second it hits one of the targets, immediately exploding and creating a maelstrom of fire big enough to rise above the clouds.
Under his helmet Momon's jaw dropped, along with the jaws of everyone in the village who saw the immense pyre in front of them, meanwhile, Link could only sweat drop and look blankly at the scene.
'Well, I guess my arrow problems are solved then, I just need normal arrows and then apply my magic in them before shooting to create fire arrows and the other ones'. Link tells himself before turning his eyes to the two people staring at him, making him come back to the real world. "…Be right back."
Link sprints away from Momon and Nabe to extinguish the fire he created, he crosses paths with Nfirea who is running to the top of the hill, tired and sweating, Link doesn't stop to talk and just waves with his hand at the boy who is going to speak with Momon.
Momon was speechless, he was expecting a bullseye, not this, from his YGGDRASIL experience, he supposed that Link's fire arrow was the equivalent of a 10th-tier spell.
'WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?' Momon knew it wasn't intentional from the way Link reacted, but no matter how many times his [Emotion Suppress] kicked in he couldn't keep himself calm, all he wanted to see was Link's ability with a bow, and unfortunately, his wish came true and he got more than he asked for, as he watches Link reaching the villagers and helping extinguish the fire the dark warrior doesn't even notice Nfirea approaching him, too worried about what would happen if Link used a power like that against Nazarick. 'Can things get any worse?'
"Momon-san". Nfirea says, making the warrior come out of his trance and pay attention to the herbalist boy in front of him. "Are you Ainz Ooal Gown?"
'ME AND MY DAMN MOUTH.'
Meanwhile, Link is helping with the fire, he didn't mean to do it, but it happened, meaning it was his responsibility to resolve this problem. While working on the fire, Link's mind was on his fire arrow, they were not supposed to be this powerful, but for some reason they were, and this made the hylian hesitant to use any other of the items he had that could help him end the fire since they could also be more powerful than they were on the game. The last thing he wanted was to use the Ice Arrow and start an ice age.
Luckily the fire stopped as soon as Link came close to it, he couldn't explain how, but it felt like the fire was some kind of active spell that worked on Link's will, when he wanted the fire to stop it had lost all its magic property and became a simple fire, easy to vanquish with water and sand.
'I guess is no surprise, many things in this world work differently than in the games, the Master Sword's "evil detector" is a good example, when I tested it, instead of being a passive ability, here, the blade only glows near evil when I activate the skill'. Link ponders over the matter but is stopped once the Swords of Darkness approach him.
"Link what happened?" Peter asks.
With a sigh Link explains everything, highlighting how it was an accident and he just wanted to shoot a normal arrow into the targets. Of course, his action was too enormous to be put aside as a simple act of archery, and soon enough the Sword of Darkness and some of the villagers gather around Link with questions he preferred not to answer, at least, to the hylian relief, no one has guessed yet that he was one of the people who helped them a few days ago, keeping the question just about archery.
"*sigh* …not again". Link says before starting to answer the questions.
A few moments later
After answering a lot of questions, Link joined Nfirea along with the Swords of Darkness, Momon and Nabe were already with the herbalist boy, making Link's assumption that Nfirea wanted to talk with the dark warrior correct. After they all gather together they start marching to the nearby forest, Link wonders if this world has the same plants Hyrule has, he already saw that it has the same animals for his elixirs so it wouldn't be farfetched to think it has, then there are the replacements, in the games some elixirs used monsters guts, Link used a goblin's one as a replacement and it worked, so he wondered what herbs would replace the ones from the games in case they didn't exist here.
'It feels like I'll have to test every single thing from The Legend of Zelda, I wish I could share my suffering with someone who understands me'. Link tells himself, not noticing Momon behind him, getting a sudden shiver out of nowhere for no reason, which confuses the dark warrior.
At the forest entrance, Nfirea walks ahead of the group and turns around, looking at the adventurers, especially Link and Momon.
"We're about to enter the Wise King of the forest domain". Nfirea says.
"Wise king… of the forest?" Link tilts his head to the side, wondering if this was something he was supposed to know about.
"Oh right, Link-san was fishing when we talked about it". Peter says, making the hylian turn to face him.
"The wise king of the forest is a powerful magic creature that has been living here for hundreds of years". Nfirea says. "A silver beast with four paws and a snake tail, it is smart and capable of using magic".
"A chimera?" Link whispers to himself, arms crossed and holding his chin with his right index and thumb.
Momon curses himself after hearing Link's hypothesis, when he first heard about the wise king of the forest he supposed it was a Nue, a creature from Japanese mythology, but this is a world where YGGDRASIL (a game based on Norse mythology) elements a thing, who is to say chimeras and other creatures from Greek mythology don't apply here.
'I need to be more careful regarding the magic creatures of this world, or I may find myself fighting a Titan'. Momon thinks.
"… I see". Link nods at them.
"That's why I want to ask that please, Link-san, Momon-san, in case we find ourselves against it, please don't kill it". Nfirea says.
"Why?" Momon asks with Link tilting his head to the side also curious.
"The reason monsters had not attacked the village is that this is his territory". Nfirea says. "If you kill it, they will reproduce without control and invade".
"This is impossible, even for them". Lukrut says.
"I understand". Momon says and Link nods.
"What?!". Lukrut gasps in shock. "The opponent is a magic creature with hundreds of years!"
"…So?" Link asks.
"Only the strongest can have an attitude like this". Dyne says with a smile.
"I have a suggestion". Momon says.
"Please tell us Momon-san". Nfirea says.
"Nabe can use a spell similar to [Alarm]. We would like to make an area recognition, so she will use this magic to warn you while I check the forest with her, Link will stay with your group in case the creature passes under our eyes, this way you will be safe".
Link thinks about the plan for a second, he doesn't want to check the forest at the moment as he is more interested in the herbs, his house was a few miles away and inside a remote area of the forest so he could explore it any time he wanted so he just nods at Momon and agrees to go with his plan.
"It seems everyone agrees then". Nfirea says. "But please, don't stay away for too long."
"Very well". Momon says.
With no more delays the group enters the forest, Link can't stop himself from looking at all angles and comparing the place to the Lost Woods, once again the former player has flashbacks from both the games and real memories, and he wonders if it will come a time where he will no longer be able to discern which ones are the real memories and if he will forget his past life and dismiss it as just his imagination.
Link's thoughts are interrupted seconds after the group enters the forest, the hylian feels a dangerous and strong presence observing them and immediately unsheathes his Fierce Deity sword from his back and jumps at where he felt the presence while the group just watches open-mouthed with no understanding why the sudden action by the hylian was taken, the being who was observing them did so above a thick twig of a nearby tree, the tree branch was as thick as a human's torso but Link cut it like butter yet the creature was nowhere to be found, the twig lands on the ground with Link following suit a second after, he keeps observing the direction where the presence had run of to, while his eyes and focus were on the creature it didn't stop Link from noticing his group approaching him from behind with Lukrut in the lead.
"Link-san, what happened?" Peter asks.
"Felt something… strong… dangerous". Link says, still looking away before turning to his group. "It is gone now."
"Was it the wise king?" Nfirea asks.
"Don't think so… too small… almost like… a child". Link says. His mind is too focused on the creature to notice the slight trembling of Momon's and Nabe's bodies.
"Whatever it was, is gone now!" Momon says with certainty. Everyone seems convinced, but not Link, thinking that presence was too strong to just flee.
'Whatever it was, was smart'. Link thought.
They return to their objective and soon reach the place where Nfirea usually collects his herbs. Momon and Nabe leave the group under Link's care as they go on their way to scout the forest. Link gets on one knee and observes the plants, it seems he can't keep himself from disbelieving he is in another world no matter how much time passes, now another proof is given as he watches the small movements of the plants caused by the winds blowing and the sunlight shining over them, making the colors brighter and more alive, giving the place an immaculate beauty only few places Earth still possesses.
Meanwhile, a few hundred meters away from Link's group, Momon and Nabe walk deeper inside the forest, more than they would do since Link's ears might have a higher range, but one could never be too careful, so they communicate only with whispers.
"Here seems fine". Momon says and stops in his tracks with Nabe following suit. "Now, let's talk about how we'll spread my name!"
"Hai". A new voice says with a yelled whisper.
Nabe out of reflex extends her arm in the voice direction with an open hand that starts glowing white as a lightning spell is being cast but she stops once seeing the person who said it was an acquaintance who is waving their hands at her and Momon.
"Aura-sama". Nabe says with surprise, showing an emotion that has not been a negative one ever since she arrived at E-Rantel. "Please don't scare me."
"Sorry". Aura says with a carefree smile, not looking sorry at all.
"Wait, it was you who Link sensed?" Nabe asks.
"Yup". Aura says, giving the doppelganger a nod. "I was going to observe you when you entered the forest, but that guy sensed me the moment I approached."
"Be careful next time". Momon says with a serious tone. "He is not someone to be underestimated."
"Yes, Ainz-sama". Both said at the same time.
"Is he an elf?" Aura asks, curious about the hylian since she only knew about him from words. "He smelled a lot like me and Mare."
"He called himself a hylian". Momon says. "Until we can determine if they are an elf sub-species we have to consider them a different species."
"I see". Aura says. The dark elf felt a little dejected since she wanted to interact with one of her species despite being someone from outside Nazarick and not being a dark elf like her, Momon believes it's due to her still being a child.
"We'll talk about this later, let's go forward with what we came here to do. I believe you have everything under control?" Momon asks.
"Yes, all I have to do is find this Wise King of the Forest for you and then bring him here, right?" Aura asks, not to confirm but for permission as she already has everything prepared.
"Yes". Momon says. "Can you do it?"
"Of course". Aura says with enthusiasm. "I think I know of whom you're talking about."
"Very well, I'll leave it to you". Momon says.
"Yes". Aura nods and smiles before leaving them and running through the forest.
"What do you intend to do?" Nabe asks, looking at her master in search of understanding.
"Fight the wise king". Momon states.
"The fight against the ogres wasn't enough?" Nabe asks.
"No". Momon says as he starts to walk away and prepare for the upcoming fight. "To spread my name in the city, defeating the wise king is better than defeating ogres in one hit. Let's not forget, Link also did it, which means I did nothing out of the ordinary, and that is unacceptable."
"I see". Nabe says, then, a thought runs over her head. "Do you think he can defeat the floor guardians?"
Momon stops to think about it, Link was a level 100 being, which means the hylian is on par with him and all the floor guardians, his karma is positive 500 from what he observed which gives him a boost on his light-type magic if he possesses any, making him have an advantage over most of the being in Nazarick who possess a weakness against light-based attacks which increased even more when they have negative karma, last, there are his skills with weapons making him on par and above many in Nazarick with only Shalltear, Cocytus and Albedo probably on par with him.
"In a one-on-one fight with no magic involved, I believe only Sebas and Cocytus can defeat him". Momon says, all his assumptions are based on what he had observed on the hylian since they first met.
Nabe couldn't hide her surprise at the information she was given, she knew that in the past the Great Tomb of Nazarick was invaded many times and that there were stronger beings out there, but it was still overwhelming to know that of all the level 100 beings on Nazarick only two could have a chance, and it is not even an assured victory.
"I had no idea he could be this strong, then again, I saw how he found Aura-sama without any hardship, I should've been more attentive to these details". Nabe chastises herself but Momonga shakes his head.
"Learning is part of the journey, if you obtain any knowledge it shows growth, don't forget this". Momon says and receives a nod of gratitude from Nabe.
Back with Link's group most of them are helping Nfirea collect his herbs, Link is also collecting herbs but not the ones Nfirea and the others are, after asking the herbalist about some of the plants' effects the hylian decided to collect a few of them so he could see if there were good substitutes to the ones used on the games to make elixirs, if tests fail he will be forced to look for the original herbs in the game, it is a long shot but given that some animals from TLOZ exist it is possible the same goes for the plants.
The group soon stopped once a flock of birds flew away as if a predator was lurking nearby, then, the ground started shaking, Link and Lukrut were the first to feel it before they heard something moving, something big and heavy.
"Let's go, there is something coming". Lukrut says with his ear on the ground.
Link frowns, there is something not right and it's giving him a bad feeling. He could have just been paranoid but after that strange feeling at the forest entrance, he couldn't stop feeling there was something out of place in this forest.
The group gathers around with the herbs they collected and prepares to leave, luckily they haven't gone too deep inside the forest and the way out is just a few dozen meters away from them, but the closer they approach the exit the wearier and more nervous Link gets, once the sunlight is spot at the end of the trees all but the hylian smile.
Just a few meters from the exit Link's instincts explode.
"WATCH OUT". The hylian screams and pushes the group in front of him forward, strong enough to make their escape, while Link jumps backward, barely escaping the attack that was meant for his companions.
The group is all on the ground, confused and in pain, but not hurt, they have no idea why Link pushed them, but they could tell he was gentle for despite how much strength he used they all could feel that he barely put any effort behind it.
"That will hurt tomorrow". Peter says as he gets on his feet first to help his companions.
"What got into him?" Lukrut asks, getting up as well and looking at Peter who is helping Nfirea while Dyne has also got on his feet to help Ninya.
"Uh, guys, what is that?" Nfirea, now on his feet, asks, pointing in Link's direction, making all follow his line of sight and just stare with wide eyes open and dropped mouths, whatever it is, they are sure it is not the wise king of the forest.
Seeing the creature come out of the forest, the Swords of Darkness' faces went pale as they couldn't stop themselves from feeling a chill caused by fear running down their spines while their bodies shivered, scared of the massive presence it had, just one look was enough to see the creature screams death to all those who oppose it. Link knew the creature too well, as memories from a game and from prior experience came to his mind so he wasted no time going after it to stop anyone from getting hurt.
The creature is gray-colored and has a lizard-like body, almost like a drake, two of its lower fangs were as big as a sword's blade and could be seen despite its closed mouth, the scaly body looked tough enough to handle the strongest and sharpest of swords, on its forehead a curved horn stands just like the three spikes it has on its back, its shoulders has two green jewel-like stones each and looked as resistant as its scales, its lower body was white in contrast to its upper body and despite having a cartilage-like skin Link knows it is as durable as the scales. There is no doubt, that the creature is a Dodongo, a King Dodongo nonetheless, just like the one from Ocarina of Time, Link doesn't know if it is the same or just another one of its species, but he knows Dodongos live in caves, volcanos, and mountains, how and why this one was so far from its habitat intrigues the hylian but with his companions lives on the line he couldn't lose the focus because of his curiosity and needed to take it down or stall it long enough for the others to escape.
"RUN". Link yells, making them get themselves together.
While the warning was wise given the situation it was also the wrong one to give, when the group started running away it caught the attention of the dodongo who had already chosen them as its prey, making it turn its attention to the fleeing group fleeing attempt, Link's eyes widened realizing it was going to attack so he immediately takes his bow and arrow and takes aim at the creature. At the same time, King Dodongo puffs its chest, breathing in most of the air it can while looking at the feeling group.
"DUCK". Link screams just in time before the creature attacks.
Time seemed to go slower after Link screamed and things all happened at the same time, Nfirea and the Swords of Darkness jumped onto the ground, King Dodongo spat a ball of fire at them, and Link let go of his arrow, then time appeared to be running at normal speed again, the fleeing group feels the heat on their backs as the fireball spat by the King Dodongo flies above them but missing its target by a small margin, the dodongo then prepares to charge, but Link's arrow finds its target, hitting the creature right in the eye, making it stop the second attack and roar to the skies in pain while trying to take the arrow off without success using its forward paws.
The dodongo then turns its attention to Link who puts his bow back into his inventory and readies his sword, looking at the creature with eyes full of determination. Now that Link managed to catch King Dodongo's attention he didn't have to worry about the others and could go all out.
The dodongo charges at Link, coiling itself into a ball and rolling like one in Link's direction, just like in the game. Link just stays still in his fighting stance, waiting for the right moment.
When the dodongo is close enough and unable to change directions while spinning Link jumps to the side and evades the charging creature, what happens next doesn't happen in the game, instead of stopping with its rolling the dodongo just turns around and charges at Link one more time. Link, seeing this, knows it would try a third time, so he needs to make it stop instead of waiting for it to stop, the hylian then has an idea, but he has to time it right.
When the dodongo is close enough Link jumps to the side again, then he uses his Sheikah Slate to use his Remote Bomb rune, immediately throwing it on the dodongo's way to use it when the monster turns around for another attack.
As Link predicted the dodongo tries another charge, but this time the hylian is ready, once it is right above the bomb Link activates the explosion, launching King Dodongo a few inches in the air and making it stumble on its spinning, the final result is the dodongo falling on its belly and stop its charge against Link.
Link doesn't waste the opportunity and takes his bow and arrow once more; he aims at the dodongo's other eye and shoots. The dodongo, still dizzy from the impact and rolling around is too late to notice the arrow coming at it and has his only eye left blinded.
Losing another eye, the dodongo lifts its head towards the skies and roars in pain and rage, the sound of agony coming out of its mouth makes the ground and air tremble due to the strength behind it, as if Thor the Norse god of thunder has descended from the skies and hit the Earth with his hammer using all his power to make his presence known.
Fueled by rage and despair the dodongo stuffs its chest once more, Link's eyes widen for unlike last time this attack wouldn't come from a creature hunting its prey, but from a predator who has been cornered, the most dangerous type there is. Reluctantly, due to his wish to keep them hidden, Link puts his bow, arrows, and his sword back into his inventory and takes out his hylian shield and the Master Sword just in time as the dodongo starts another attack.
Bending his right knee forward and putting his left leg right behind it to get a better grip on the ground, Link raises his shield and readies his sword as the dodongo starts a rain of fire, spitting fireball after fireball in all directions its head can turn in an attempt to avoid being killed or captured.
Link's shield manages to protect him from the attacks, but he can't stay on the defensive for too long as the fire starts to burn the grass all around and if Link doesn't stop the dodongo soon the wind will spread the fire towards the forest and the village and nothing short of heavy rain will be able to stop it.
Seeing that the dodongo's fireballs are starting to get smaller and with a bigger time frame between them Link lowers his shield just in time to see another fireball coming at him, with a firm grip on the Master Sword the hylian strikes the incoming projectile, launching it back to the dodongo and hitting it right on the nose, making it roar in pain once more and cease with its attacks. Not losing the window he created Link jumps at the dodongo, Master Sword in hands, and slashes it on the face.
Another roar is made, but this one is much weaker than the others, the dodongo is now on its last breaths, it has been blinded in both eyes, it had a bomb exploded under its body making it hurt itself while it was spinning, a fireball hit directly on the nose, and now a slash made by the master sword, now it was kill or be killed for the creature, it knows for its instincts are screaming it.
In a last stand, the dodongo opens its mouth in an attempt to shoot another fireball, but this time Link was prepared, using another Bomb Rune the hylian throws it at the creature's mouth while it was sucking all the air it could, and ended up swallowing the bomb too. Link explodes the bomb inside the dodongo's stomach immediately, making the creature fall over its belly, with no strength left the dodongo just waits for the peace and calm embrace of death.
Link approaches the creature and pities it, but also wonders why it is so far away from its natural habitat. The hylian takes the master sword and pierces the dodongo hearts, giving it a quick and painless death, after realizing his questions wouldn't be answered.
With the creature dead Link looked around and saw the fire was starting to grow.
'Now, how do I… wait, it could work, I haven't tested yet but now it seems like the right time.'
Link uses his Sheikah Slate and goes to the key items section, then he presses his finger over a blue sphere with black marks over it, this was the [Vow of Wisdom, Sage of Water], a summon that in the game created some type of water shield to protect the player, but with everything changing after it became a reality maybe Link could use it to extinguish the fire.
The summon is made and a creature with an aquatic body rises from thin air, it has a red body with features that resemble a dolphin-human hybrid due to the 'ponytail hair' that closely resembles a dolphin's tail, wearing clothes that resemble those of tribes whose cultures were developed in an ambient where fishing was the primary source of food. This is Sidon, a member of an aquatic species named Zora and a descendant of the Water Sage, one of the Six Sages that helped Link in the past.
"Link, my friend, it is so good to see you again". Sidon says, grabbing Link's hand with both of his and shaking the young hylian like a maraca. "So, what can I do for you?".
Link feels guilty since he is not entirely the man Sidon remembers so he gestures towards the fire without speaking a word, too ashamed of himself to look at the Zora in the eyes.
Sidon looks at the fire and immediately realizes why he was summoned, with a smile he nods at Link, taking the trident sheathed on his back Sidon raises it in the air.
"Don't worry my friend, this fire will vanish in no time". Sidon says.
From the tip of the weapon, water starts to appear out of thin air, creating a small sphere over Sidon's trident, once it is big enough the Zora swings his trident in the fire's direction, extinguishing the flames as water comes out of the water sphere, flowing into the fire like a river flows towards the ocean, the movements made by Sidon with his trident are so smoothly and fluid that almost looked like he is part of a dance between him and the magic water he is using to help, not a surprise given his species is an aquatic one.
After the fire ends Sidon's magic ceases, and the Zora looks at his friend and bows to him with a smile. Link's courage returns to him, his gratitude to his friend surpassing his shame, and he looks at Sidon in the eyes, returning the Zora's smile with one of his own and shaking their hands like true companions after a hard-won battle.
"Call for my presence any time Link. This is what friends are for". Sidon says before starting to disappear, receiving a nod from Link before completely vanishing.
"… I will". The hylian responds.
Not too long after Sidon vanished Nfirea and the Swords of Darkness returned when the sounds of battle dissipated. Enri and the goblins are with them, they all look sweaty, no doubt they have been running without stopping, and given the company, Link is right to assume once they returned to Carne Village they had alerted Enri and her goblins, explaining why they are here with them.
"Link-san, are you all right?" Peter asks once they all stop in front of the hylian who nods in response.
"What about the monster?" Ninya asks.
Link looks at the corpse's direction and points at it over his shoulder with his thumb. They all go near the corpse to take a closer look, wide-eyed and open-mouthed, all of them except for the hylian. Peter is the first to stop looking at the dodongo and turn his eyes back to Link.
"Did you really kill it?" Peter asks, receiving a nod from Link.
"To think there was such a creature living in the forest". Dyne says, Link shakes his head.
"Didn't… lived here". Link tells him.
Link's words caught the attention and curiosity of the group and all eyes had fallen on him.
"What do you mean". Jugen, the chief goblin asks.
Link points at the monster before speaking.
"This… is a dodongo… they live in caves… mountains… and volcanos… not forests". Link says.
It takes a few moments before the words spoken by the hylian sink into the others' heads, but once it does realization runs all over their minds.
"Then what it was doing here?" Lukrut asks.
Link just shrugs his shoulder in response, in the dark as much as everyone else.
"Do you think someone could've brought it here?" Dyne asks, observing as Link kneels beside the monster, looking at it.
Link shakes his head, there is only one person who could command a monster like King Dodongo and even if this person existed in this New World they still don't know about Link or where he is.
'Unless… *hmm* I came to this village with Gazef days ago to help the villagers, but we weren't the only ones who were here. If someone had sent this dodongo here they might have heard about the attack and wanted to test me, Gazef, or Ainz, but without proof, this is just a theory, for all I know the dodongos were killed in their home and this one was searching for a new one to live.' Link stops thinking and gets on his feet, he goes to the tail of the creature and puts it over his shoulder.
"Well, it is a curious creature". Jugen comments while looking at it. "I heard about dragons and sub-species like wyverns and drakes. I thought this one could be one of those."
"It certainly looks like a drake". Nfirea says. "Reptilian body, horns, four legs, if it had a pair of wings this… dodongo could be easily mistaken for a dragon."
"No kidding, it also shot fireballs from its mouth at us, just like a dragon". Peter says.
"Yeah, I remember you telling us about it". Enri says. "Could there be more out there?"
"I don't think so". Peter shakes his head while taking a look over the creature's body. "Link-san just told us they live in caves and mountains, maybe this was a nomad."
"Link-san, you aren't thinking about taking its corpse to the city… are you?" Ninya asks, looking at the hylian after noticing he wasn't among the group. Link response is just a smile.
"He is". Lukrut says.
When they were distracted talking about the dodongo, Link had already put his golden gauntlets, a special item that gives the player augmented strength, he doesn't think he needs them to carry the dodongo corpse, but he thought it was better to not take any risk and embarrass himself.
"Are you sure you can carry this thing with you?" Lukrut asks.
Link nods at him before turning his head to the forest after hearing the sound of footsteps.
"Ho. Looks like we missed something".
All turn to the speaker and see it is Momon, with Nabe at his side, and a curious creature behind him, they all go to the dark warrior, curious about the creature and probably wanting to talk with him about it and Link's fight with the dodongo. Link is the last to approach Momon, due to the risk of tearing the dodongo's tail off its body with his strength, Link walked at a slower pace, thankfully its durable scales didn't let any damage get to the corpse, and it was also obvious Momon would stare at him given the load he was carrying.
"Is this?" Nfirea asks.
"The wise king of the forest?!" All but Link said at the same time.
"Don't be afraid". Momon tells the group while petting the wise king.
While they are all shocked Link's is more due to the immense urge to laugh, the wise king turned out to be nothing but a giant hamster with a long snake-like tail, and the face it was making wasn't helping, it was too cute to look fierce and threatening, Momon telling them to not be afraid didn't help and the hylian put his hand over his mouth otherwise holding back would be impossible.
"It is now under my command, and it won't attack". Momon says, putting his hand over his chest.
"It is like my master says". The wise king of the forest tells them, surprising the group for none of them thought it possessed the ability of speech. "The wise king of the forest will follow its master. It won't cause you any trouble."
"Incredible, two magical beasts in a single day". Ninya says.
'At least this one speaks, I don't think there is anything magical about my beast, except its own existence'. Link says to himself as he watches everyone look at the wise king after looking at the dodongo over his shoulder.
"I feel great strength and wisdom coming from it". Dyne says.
'Great strength? wisdom?' Momon and Link thought, the first because he couldn't see what and how they were seeing it, the second because its strength and supposed wisdom are only great compared to a select group.
"I doubt we would be able to defend Enri-sama from it, even if we all fought together against such a marvelous creature". Jugen says.
"I know you would've done your best Jugen-san". Enri says, patting the goblin in the back.
"Momon-san, I can't believe how much you and Link-san have accomplished ever since we met". Lukrut says, surprising Link with his behavior, though the magic ended with his next words. "Now I understand why Nabe-san stands by your side."
'Of course.' Link says inside his mind.
"First the dodongo, now the wise king of the forest, we would've been slaughtered. You and Link-san are really amazing, Momon-san". Peter says.
"What about you two? Nabe, Link". Momon asks.
"Ignoring its strength, I think its eyes shine with power". Nabe comments.
"It's… fluffy… he… hehehehe". Link says before giving a weak laugh at the creature not able to hold back anymore earning a confused look from all and a sweat drop from Momon.
'Not fair, he fights a giant lizard creature, and I fight a hamster, can't we trade?' Momon whines inside his head, looking at Link's catch over the hylian's shoulder.
"Momon-san". Nfirea says, making the dark warrior turn to face him. "If you take it from here, wouldn't the monsters attack the village?"
Enri and the goblins take Nfirea's words into account, remembering that the village wasn't attacked by other creatures because to do so they would need to pass throughout the wise king's territory, which they never could, with the predator no longer there, a future attack was possible.
"So?" Momon asks the giant hamster.
"There's a chance". The hamster says.
"No…" Nfirea whispers to himself, dejected, with his head down. "Then, Momon-san. Can I be part of your team?"
Link raised an eyebrow at that, he knows Nfirea has feelings for Enri and wants to protect her at all costs, but this absurd request is made out of fear, while the boy's heart is in the right place such decisions driven by emotions could lead to one's death, Nfirea has no training as a warrior and no knowledge about fighting, even if Momon agreed to his wish the herbalist would get himself killed on their first mission.
"Impossible". Link says and all eyes turn to him. "You never fought a real battle… death is the only thing you would find. You want to protect the village, that is admirable, but not enough, until you are strong enough to face deathly opponents he won't accept you."
"Link is right". Momon says. "But that doesn't mean I'll let this village suffer from my actions, I'll aid it whenever it needs me, and when it happens… I may need your help".
"Me too". Link says.
Nfirea raises his head, hope rekindled and a bright smile on his lips.
"Yes. Please, let me help!" Nfirea says and all smile at his words, especially Enri.
A few days later
The journey back to E-Rantel felt a lot faster and the journey to Carne Village, despite the distance being the same, the group was surprised by Link's ability to carry the dodongo's body without a problem and not get left behind. Although, the group had a problem at the entrance, mainly because the guards couldn't stop asking questions about the dodongo and the wise king of the forest, Link couldn't blame them, they had never seen such powerful-looking creatures before, and one of them was dead, that raised more questions about it, and about Link's strength as well.
"Momon-san". Peter said after they entered the gates. "We will go to Nfirea's house and help him unload the wagon."
"Understood". Momon says. "After Link and I register the dodongo and the wise king at the guild we'll go there".
"Thanks to you two I was able to collect much more than I'm usually able to. I'll certainly be going to put that as a bonus in your payment."
"Nabe-chan". Lukrut says making Link frown. "We'll be separated for a short time. I hope you don't feel-"
"See you soon… bye". Link interrupts Lukrut, too tired from the trip, having to carry the big lizard over his shoulder, and from listening to his flirts all the way back, so he just waves his hand at the Swords of Darkness.
"Let's go". Dyne says, pushing Lukrut.
"Bye". Ninya says, also waving at them before following his group.
Momon goes with Nabe at his left and Link at his right, all the way back he was forced to keep appearances, to do that he needed to be on the hamster's back, the shame and embarrassment were so high that even his emotional suppression wasn't enough, Link's giggles after every 10 minutes didn't help, and Momon couldn't do anything against it since he also agreed with the hylian's opinion.
'I feel like an old man on a children's roundabout in the amusement park. I should be proud, but this is too shameful.' Momon cries inside his head when noticing all bystanders look in awe at the creature below him and at the dodongo Link is carrying, on this moment the dark warrior wanted nothing less than to trade places with the hylian or just shovel his head into the ground, any option would be fine to him. 'DAMN IT.'
"Needs… name". Link says, getting Momon's attention.
"Huh?"
"Wise king… needs a name". Link says.
"Aye, it does". Momon says. "Any suggestions?"
"…Cobra? …because of tail". Link says, not nothing what name could fit a hamster with a snake-like tail.
"I don't think it would catch. But thanks for the suggestion". Momon says.
'It definitely needs a name. Hamusuke? Daifuku also sounds cool.'
While Momon was busy thinking of a name and feeling sorrow for himself, Link and Nabe were engaging in small talk, they didn't mind keeping quiet the whole way but after spending a whole journey together it couldn't hurt, plus, Link was trying to stop his speech impediment by talking to others, it was failing miserably but he would keep trying.
"Any… family?" Link asks the female adventurer on the other side of the hamster.
"Five sisters… you?" Nabe answers and asks.
"…Orphan". Link says.
Most of the games portrayed Link as an orphan with just a few exceptions such as A Link to the Past, where he has an uncle, and The Wind Waker, where he has a little sister and a grandmother, but due to none of them being here he didn't want to talk about them despite the fact of having a little sister might have made Nabe more open to talk and relate to him.
"I see… thank you". Nabe says.
"… For what?" Link asks.
"Helping me with the insect". Nabe says.
"No problem… it was getting annoying." Link says.
Nabe nods and gives the hylian a thin smile with Link responding her gesture with an equal one.
They all kept on their way to the guild, but their adventure would not be over on this night, far from it.
Author's note: Have you ever had a dialogue block? I have one of these whenever I finish writting a chapter, always wondering if I had put enough dialogues, if there should be more, if I left a dialogue out that could be vital for the plot. Damn it's annoying.
Anyway, another chapter done, I hope you like it, next one will be the last of volume 2 and and thing will start to change from the original.
