Chapter 3

The next two weeks saw multiple 'heroes' trying to arrest Mr. Bones. However Eraserhead shot them down with facts while still knowing Nedzu had placed a camera in the boy's eye socket. Every interaction with the pair was recorded as were the two physical attacks by said heroes. No one would get out of this in good light if Nedzu was involved.

That Friday Nedzu took Bones to a very special tailor to get a full suit. He told the boy it was a gift for what was about to happen. Sure enough that night a delivery specialist served Nedzu and Mr. Bones a subpoena for court. The official charge was Unauthorized Vigilante actions while under the VRP.

The day they stepped into the courtroom with a very well known legal aid, the Hero Commission looked worried. Add to that the fact the judge looked very tired.

Once all customs were done. The judge glared at the Hero commission legal team. "I just spent the last two days watching multiple heroes trying to arrest a boy interning with an underground hero. Said boy was not involved in any active combat and only used capture and restraint supplies. On the command of the underground hero. Then add that twice a mainstream hero who was just starting his patrol attacked said boy standing beside said underground hero in a public location. All this was recorded. Now tell me why I should waste my time with any of this mess?"

Nedzu stood up. "Your honor, we wish to file a counter lawsuit. Harassment of a VPR subject. And abuse of Authority. The latter part being the fact that the hero commission had sent persons to exhume the urn of Midoriya Izuku's ashes."

Mr. Bones turned his head to the judge. Then calmly raised his hand. Seeing the action the judge decided to humor the boy. "Yes. Do you have something to add?"

The skeleton nodded then stood up. "I wish to state for the record that I have no pulse as I have no heart. I do not breathe as I have no lungs. And I do not register brain activity as I have no brain. At least I have courage or I would be three for three to a bad storyline. But back on topic, Izuku Midoriya died. Period. His body is dust, it was buried with his mother's tears flowing as she knew her son would never be coming back. But his skeleton lives on and cares for her like a son. I cannot be claimed as alive by textbook definition… That said, you gotta be pretty messed up to dig up the dead just to try and prove the person you're harassing is not dead."

The judge just pulled his hand down his face before turning to the Hero Commission legal team. "I approve the Counter suit and throw out your lawsuit. The facts and evidence are very clear. If this continues then I will have to escalate this to the Prime Minister's office as the boy is right. He is not considered alive so he can't be legally accountable for Vigilante laws. Also it is very unnerving to be listening to a child's voice coming from a skeleton. Case dismissed."

Back at the school, the hero classes were not allowed to go to the USJ due to several issues. One was Mineta's clearly perverted outlook on all women. Yes that out ranked Bakugo's aggressive tendencies, then the whole lack of professionalism with those seeking the spotlight hero's positions. Finally the fact that they all see heroics as a lifetime career that trumps proper education. That meant new education guidelines. And in Aizawa's words, 'beating the logic into them'.

So here was a group of Heroes… and one skeleton. Beating up… errr... I mean sparring with the combined hero classes to teach teamwork. And get rid of all the competition mindset. Thus why Mr. Bones was currently using choke holds, throws, and grapples that really made one feel like a pretzel, on the poor Monoma. And even all that did not sink in the lesson that not working together was going to get him killed. With a sigh Bones went to his bag in the corner and pulled out permanent markers.

"Time to upgrade the lesson. Hound Dog! Call out Half the group with problem children first. The rest will run 2 laps while we finish off these. The new goal is not to die. I had the support class whip up some special ink that will paralyze you if it touches you. Now normally that means nothing but did you know that if your chest is paralyzed then it is hard to breathe. And hit a vital organ and it causes all kinds of issues. Oh and an abdomen hit would be spilling your guts if it was a real knife but releasing your bowels is the same idea."

That had the class worried. "Ok next thing. The teachers are the villains so they get the knives. Not fair you say… well this is Mr. Bones' S.I.U.B. bootcamp. That stands for Suck it up Buttercups. I am out there at night stopping criminals that will kill or worse so let's get dangerous." He stopped and blinked before patting his teeth. "Ok. No beak. Forget that part but be ready to die."

The first group lasted under 10 minutes. The second saw the goal of working together and lasted 40 minutes. The fact that the last to fall were trying to protect the least harmed was also a big kicker. But it did not end there.

A knock at the door had Bones running over and flinging it open. "Mei, mother of my beautiful babies. They worked perfectly. Look at all these dead bodies ready for their funeral. Oh wait, not enough time, let's just bury them." The support class walked in with forty cheap black plastic coffins.

Vlad looked shocked but it was Merumi who looked sick. "Ok that's too far. I mean you called her a mother but look at her figure. No way she can keep such a great shape being a mother."

Aizawa had already slid into his sleeping bag. While Mic was doing a weird dance waving his arms as the support class loaded the groaning students into the coffins. He finally found his voice. "That is too far? But what about the kids? Why are you putting them into coffins?"

Bones looked at the hero classes. "To bury the dead. I mean it's not like they would have survived in the real world like that so bury them now and not later. Oh for those with claustrophobia I do not apologize but to Hound Dog for all the new work… I do apologize. See you tomorrow at our normal time?" With that he left as the lids were closed Mei just chuckled stating they would be fine in an hour when the paralytic wore off. As long as it was the red marker." She looked at the teachers holding black markers. "Oh. Sorry for the smell and 2 hours tops. Bye." She bolted out the door followed by the support class.

The others did as well leaving Aizawa to sleep. Two hours after the marker hit him… Bakugo blasted open his coffin. The others were a bit more gentle but everyone ran for the lockers and showers. That night they all swore vengeance on the skeleton.

Nedzu was very pleased with the combined focus of the hero course to take down a certain annoying skeleton but his greatest amusement was the Hero Commission asking for Mr. Bones to intern under Hawks. That had stupid written all over it. But what could he do to make it even more upsetting to them?

The fact that the skeleton showed up with a jetpack bungee corded to it was the best thing to Hawks but when his handler who was present for Bones arrival stated he had to find whoever sold hero support gear to the vigilante… Well, the answer was priceless. "I did not buy it. I'm testing it for the Mother of my other babies. All my capture gear is experimental after all. But If you really want to explain trying to steal company property from someone you demanded to intern with your hero then by all means take it."

The man growled as he turned to walk away but stopped before grinning. "You never did tell me the name of the company you're testing it for."

"Really? Gee this empty head of mine guess I forgot their name. Oh well they usually remind me in a couple days and then move on to the next invention. Look at the time we better get patrolling. Bye Commission lackey # 46."

He took off into the sky followed by a laughing Hawks. The night was simple and again he only captured after the hero fought. He also made a very intimidating sight with the engine glow behind his skeletal figure.

One pair of burglars were ready to go toe to toe with Hawks but the moment Bones landed they gave up. He took a minute to remember them… then proceeded to lecture them on doing better things to earn money. They looked relieved when the police said they had to take them in. For someone with no lungs, continuous lecturing is a non lethal weapon.

The end of the patrol had a few new issues. This time three of the lackeys were waiting. "Um… you do have your own agency, right? Because none of the other heroes have to report to the commission unless there is an issue with their written reports. You do the written ones too, right? I may be brainless but doing this first means the written ones are useless."

Hawks looked at the men and frowned; he did think that doing this and then writing it up after was useless. "I have a question, fellas. Why do I have to write up a report that I verbally gave to the Commission handlers? I mean you see that a lot of it is unnecessary but keep me doing it. Am I not wasting time if you have to hear it then read it again? Also when do other heroes give verbal reports to their handlers?"

Bones cut in on that one. "Wait. Hold the Bone. You mean the other Heroes are supposed to have handlers? I never heard of that. Why do you have them if your #3 and no one else does?"

The man from the night before growled again. And again it was ignored. "Quiet you. You're going to give us that jetpack so we can confirm with the maker if it really is being tested by you."

Bones tilted his head. "So theft it is. But one thing you should know. I would not try to remove it from me right now..." They charged at him and grabbed the pack before screaming out and pulling their blistered hands away. "...Unless you have a burn or heat proof quirk. The temp gauge says it is in limit but still holding at 210 degrees right now. Please tell me your men did not hit the red button."

Lackey #46 just glared. "Why does that matter?" He was answered by the engine revving and firing up.

"Hawks. It was fun while it lasted but this is goodbyyyyyyyeeeeeeee." The pack rocketed him off into the sky with Hawks just laughing even more.

The men looked worried as they now had to explain how this happened to the upper Commission.
