This story starts off on Mustafar, where Anikan duels with his master for the final time
As Obi-wan steps off of his ship, he is greeted by the sight of Anikan force choking Padme. As Anikan notices Obi-wan stepping off the ship, he ignites his red lightsaber, readying himself for his most dangerous opponent yet.
As the duel starts, Anikan immediately shows his prowess by effortlessly defending himself from Obi-wans attacks. As they continue, Obi-wan, with a shaky voice, says "you were my brother, Anikan, I trusted you, Padme trusted you, why have you done this" Anikan, shaking with rage, tells him "I have lost all trust in anyone who calls themselves a Jedi, you took me from my home, my MOTHER, I will give this galaxy a leader that is fair and will keep them safe. Too long we relied on the so called 'good guys' yet the Jedi take small children, indoctrinate them into an army, and remove all connections from their lives." They continue fighting until they reach the edge of the lava flow and obi-wan begins to see the flaws in the Jedi order, yet he remains unshaken, stating "we don't have to destroy them to improve the system, we just need to make adjustments" "IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT" Anikan says as he lands a fatal blow against Obi-wan, ending his connection to the Jedi Order. As he reaches the landing pad, Anikan immediately picks up Padme, using the force to preserve her until they reach Coruscant to give birth. On the way to the planet, Anikan meditates on the actions he just took and if he should continue on his current path, when Qui-gon appears in a force vision, saying "you have the right idea, but you haven't gone about it the right way, you must destroy Palpatine, and restore the galaxy to its former state of peace" as he reaches Coruscant, Anikan immediately takes Padme to the hospital, laying her gently onto the gurney and hesitates as the medical droids ask him to step away, but he does and stands near the door, waiting for his wife to return to his side.
