Inside a car of the Bell Tree train...
"Mr. Conductor, please stop the train at the nearest station, right now."
"B-But... Mr. Suzuki Jirokichi said that-"
"I don't care about that old geezer said, just stop the train at the nearest station. And contact the police to come here."
"B-But-"
The young conductor was shaking in fear right in front of a black-haired man, who was looking at him intensely with his dead fish-eyes.
"Look young man, there is a murderer hiding in this train. And I want you to stop the train so that every passengers in this train can be safe. I don't care if that old man called Suzuki Jirokichi told you not to stop until you're reached Nagoya Station, but do you think he will be able to compensate for innocent people who will be killed next in this train?"
"N-No, I think-"
"Then stop standing right there and stop the train. And beside, surely you wouldn't dare to oppose a police officer, right?"
The man pulled something out of his pocket, then revealed to the conductor his police badge.
The young man after seeing the badge was very tense, then immediately answered the black-haired man.
"R-Right away... Sir!"
Right after the young conductor ran to stop the train, the man sighed deeply.
"Damn it, why does that demented fucker make his decisions so thoughtless and stupid? I must tell to Yukino about this."
The man pulled his phone out, then called to someone that he knows.
"Hachiman? What's wrong?" A female voice spoke up.
"Nothing, just ensure everyone's safety. There is a case of murder on this train."
"Oh my god, does that mean the murderer is still on this train?"
"Unfortunately, yes. So make sure to keep yourselves safe. Looks like on this mystery trip I won't have any rest at all."
"Understood. Anything else?"
"Oh, can you give the phone to your mother? I got something to tell her."
"Sure. Wait a moment."
There was a silence until another female voice spoke up.
"Hachiman-kun, is there something you want to tell me?"
"Oh, sure. Do you know about some man called Suzuki Jirokichi?"
"The advisor of the Suzuki Conglomerate. I know that man. But why did you suddenly ask me that?"
"Apparently, he is also the owner of this train. And that old man want to be famous."
"What do you mean?"
"You see, there is a case of murder on this train. And I told the conductor to stop the train to ensure the safety of every passengers. But..."
"But?"
"That man decided not to stop until arriving Nagoya Station, so that he could catch the murderer himself. He doesn't care about the safety of everyone else in here."
"Oh my. Looks like I need to talk to Tomoko-san about this. Such a thoughtless decision."
"Okay. Now I have to go to solve the murder. Make sure to keep yourselves safe. Take care."
"Sure. Take care."
After the call, the man put his phone back to his pocket.
"Okay, let's do this. Solve this case and arrest the murderer, as always."
Just when he decided to go, another person enter the car.
"Excuse me, sir. I just want to ask-"
The black-haired man turned back, saw a blonde man with dark skin right in front of him.
The blonde looked very surprised and shocked when he saw that man turn back.
"What... Hikigaya Hachiman?"
The black-haired man - Hachiman - also shocked to see the blonde, but then quickly composed himself back and said.
"Furuya Rei... I didn't except to see you here."
"That's my line as well. What are you doing here?" Rei exclaimed.
"Oh, just take a trip with my family until this happened. What about you?"
"Same as you, on my own. Looks like this is my job to solve this case as well."
"What do you mean?" Hachiman questioned.
"You see, I'm a detective. Now if you don't mind, I have to go to find the clue."
"Let me help you. I'm also a detective. We could work together to solve the case."
"Oh, just like old time, huh, Hikigaya?" Rei teased.
"Just like old time, Furuya." Hachiman replied.
"Oh, and please do not call my real name as well." The blonde suggested.
"Why? Is there something wrong?" The dead fish-eyed man asked.
"That's a secret, I will tell you privately once we get the hell out of the train."
"Sure, but what alias will I call you from now?"
"Amuro Tooru." Rei answered.
"Sure, Furuya... I mean... Amuro-san. Now let's catch that damn murderer that ruined my trip." Hachiman exclaimed.
"Right after you, Hikigaya-san."
And after that line, the two of them started to find the criminal still hiding on the train and solve the murderer.

And welcome you guys, to my new story.
As you can see, this is an Oregairu x Detective Conan fic, where Hachiman is in the world of Detective Conan, along with some of the characters from Oregairu like Yukino, Haruno, Komachi,...
Now, there are two reasons I want to write this fic.
1. I want to see a fic where Hachiman is a detective in the future, as i was heavily inspired by these two Detective Hachiman fics:
- A Doll's Eyes by GenericOregairuFan
- Unmade by SouBU
2. Hachiman's character looks fit in Detective Conan world, so I decided to write this fic.
Now, in this story, Hachiman married Yukino, met Furuya Rei and the Zero Squad during his university time, so there would be some moments which Hachiman and Rei team up and also, fight each other.
The timeline in this story is in the Mystery Train arc, aka the Bell Tree Express case. Hachiman encounters Rei and Conan's group, also Yukino, Haruno and Komachi will appear in there.
