Eventually, Annie and Dean come home to find Hogarth in his bed room, asleep on his bed. Annie smiled at Dean and put a finger to her lips as she went over and tucked a blanket over her son. Dean chuckled quietly and the two of them silently left Hogarth's room and watched a movie in the Living room.

Later when Hogarth woke up, He went to the kitchen to find his Mom preparing dinner and Dean at the kitchen table

"Hello, Honey. You had a good nap in there?", Annie greeted her son.

"Yeah, it was alright."

"So, did you went over to the Franklins house."

As soon as his mother mention the new people, He immediately thought about Deidre and that same feeling from when he first saw her came back almost in a instant. Annie and Dean noticed this, and, being concerned, Annie asked her son,

"Hogarth, you are right. Your face is turning red."

Hogarth spun away from her eyes and stuttered,

"uhh, y-yeah, mom I'm alright. Im- Im cool?"

"You're sure, Hogarth", Dean asked. "Are you sure it's not about that girl?"

Hogarth turned even redder in response.

"N-no!", he denied, though the truth was crystal clear;it was about Deidre and he has his first ever crush: her. But he couldn't tell Dean or Mom just yet. Maybe later.

Dean looked at Hogarth suspiciously, bu then shrugged it off and said,

"Alright, what ever you say, Hogarth."

"Well, speaking of the new family, I have invited them over for dinner tonight", Annie happily announced. " Hogarth's heart jumped and ponded against his chest a mile a minute, just hearing those words.

How dose that sound?"

"I think that sounds great, honey", Dean said. "I would like to get to know them better. How about you, Hogarth? You want to meet the new girl and her dad?"

Hogarth couldn't response back thought. He just was glued forsworn to the ground, silent like a deer in headlights.

"Ummm- I got to go to the bathroom! Be back. See ya!" He quickly darted out the room and towards his room. Annie and Dean looked at him as he rushed away.

"You know, Annie, I think Hogarth's acting a bit weird today the family is brought up. I do have a hunch that it has to do something with that girl. Little man's growing up." Dean chuckled at his own statement.

Annie turned to her boyfriend, stern. "Now, Dean. Don't you go jumping into conclusions. That may not be the reason. If it is, Hogarth will tell us when he's ready. Besides, I'm sure he's a bit shy and awkward to meet the family. You know how he can be."

"Okay, Rodger that, Annie." He turned around and settled into the couch.

Back in his room, Hogarth was trying to read his new Superman comic, but he couldn't focus because his thoughts were clouded by the warm, tingly thought of Deidre. He felt like he wanted to see her so badly. Hogarth felt so nervous about the Franklins coming over. He just hopes that he wont give away any clues about how he felt about Deidre; Hogarth didn't want Deidre to know.
