[DISCLAIMER: I am not literate at all so don't expect long ass descriptions. But do expect grammatical errors. I'm prone to them. And this is my seventh time ever writing a fanfic so it will probably be trash. If you have any constructive criticism, by all means, give me. Just don't do it in a manner that makes you an asshole. Anyways, let's begin

CHARACTER SELECT:

BINGUS: a dark red, mobian fox. He's just a standard citizen. But now with rocket shoes that let him go fast, as well as an arm canon that he can use to turn the tides of battles. AGE: 20

BLAZE: a lavender, mobian cat. She's a princess of the sol empire who has the power of pyrokinesis. She also guards these 7 gems called the sol emeralds.

AGE: 20

SONIC: The fastest thing alive, the blue blur, he goes by many names. But he's got places to go and he's gotta follow his rainbow.

AGE: 26

TAILS: once a kid genius, he's grown up some. Still an absolute Einstein reincarnate.

AGE: 18

AMY: Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend however, he could not care less. In fact, it kind of makes him uncomfortable. But she is a valuable asset to the team.

AGE: 22

KNUCKLES: guardian of the master emerald, he's stoic, I'll be it a bit gullible from being alone all the time

AGE: 25

SHADOW: the ultimate lifeform. He was created in the space colony ark by Professor Gerald Robotnik with the funding of G.U.N. They got word of how dangerous it's become and sent soldiers to kill everyone but Gerald and Shadow. Everyone including Maria. Gerald's granddaughter and shadows best friend. When awakened by Eggman, shadow wanted revenge on the planet, until he realized that wasn't what she wanted. He sacrificed himself to save the world, but woke up with amnesia.

AGE: unknown

ROUGE: spy who works for gun with shadow. She's also a jewel thief who loves to get on the nerves of that knucklehead.

AGE: 28

ESPIO: a ninja who's also a detective for the Chaotix detective agency.

AGE: 26

CHARMY: a hyperactive bee who's also a detective for the Chaotix detective agency.

AGE: 16

VECTOR: the leader of the chaotix detective agency. He loves money and music

AGE: 30

SILVER: telekinetic hedgehog from the future. He's a bit naïve and gullible. The future he's from is destroyed so it makes sense.

AGE: 16

TANGLE: local from Spiral Hill Village. A village that's under attack from Eggman's leftover forces. She has a long, stretchy tail that she uses as a weapon.

AGE:26

WHISPER: once the scout of a team called the diamond cutters, her team was wiped out when their leader, mimic, turned on them. She's very shy and protective of the ones she loves.

AGE: 26

NEO METAL SONIC: A supped-up version of metal sonic. He can now speak, take forms of other people, and take their biodata. Allowing him to copy their abilities ala Kirby.

AGE: he's a fucking robot

Super neo metal sonic walks over to Sonic and knuckles

SUPER NEO METAL SONIC: "Well? You came here to stop me, didn't you? Step right up"

Sonic looks at him, cocky as always. As Knuckles looks at him, furiously

SONIC: "I'm gonna kick the smugness right outta you!" He then mutters "As soon as I figure out how"

KNUCKLES: "AN UPGRADED METAL SONIC AND HE'S SUPER TOO?! THAT'S CHEATING!!"

Super neo metal sonic creates a giant ball of electricity

SUPER NEO METAL SONIC: "Such a disappointing choice of last words"

The ball of electricity crackles as he shoots it at our heroes. Landing in between them. Sonic talks to Knuckles

SONIC: "Knux! Secure the master emerald so he can't draw power from it! I'll keep him busy"

KNUCKLES: "Are you nuts?! He'll crush you!!"

SONIC: "Only if he can catch me first!"

Super neo metal sonic bolts to sonic and knuckles in a millisecond.

SUPER NEO METAL SONIC: "if?"

He then grabs them by the heads and runs them through the ground, makes them butt heads, then shoots them with electricity. Causing them to fly off in different directions. Knuckles, lying next to a pillar, speaks to sonic

KNUCKLES: "I thought you were going to distract him?"

SONIC: "Just getting warmed up. That's all!" ""I hope everyone is doing better than us right now""

Meanwhile, tangle grabs onto a cannon with her tail and tries to move it

TANGLE: "Cover me! I'm gonna turn their big guns against them!"

Whisper and Bingus shoot every badnik in close range and Tangle aims the cannon to one of the ships. Causing it to shoot it and destroy it. Team Chaotix are tearing up the wing and badniks, rouge drops bombs all over the place, tails whacks an egg pawn with his tails and Amy whacks one with her hammer

TAILS: "We're not making much headway!"

AMY: "But we're not losing either! Keep it up!"

TAILS: "We need to work smarter! Not harder! I've got a plan! Cover me!"

AMY: "Resistance! Form up behind tails! He has a plan! Blaze! Are you doing okay?"

burning blaze is seen demolishing the wing

BURNING BLAZE: "I'm holding my own. I'll join you all as soon as I can" "" The enemy can't harm me in this form, but they can slow me down. I can only maintain it for so long. And I'm running out of time! I have to finish my part of the plan, now!"" "I must be careful not to harm the island"

She then starts to build up a giant ball of fire. After a few seconds, it grows to be five times the size of burning blaze. She then unleashes a giant wave of fire. Absolutely destroying the wing. Sending the broken part to fall into the ocean. She then lands on Angel Island as her burning blaze form wears off. She leans on a tree for support

BLAZE: "It is done… and so am I"

Meanwhile, on the other wing, tails is trying to get one of the ships running as silver covers him

SILVER: "I can only hold so much at a time, you know!

TAILS: "Just a second! Just a second! And ignition!"

Tails finally get it running as it flies off, Shooting everything. Causing the wing to split in two. The flying characters pick up the others as they make it safely on board. Rouge grabs Amy as they make it on the ship

ROUGE: "Good idea! A little more of a heads up would've been nice"

AMY: "Well he was practically raised by Sonic. And he's not known for his patience" Amy looks down. Seeing the wing fall into the ocean

"Ha! Looks like we didn't need shadows help after all!"

ROUGE: "I'm still gonna chew him out for bailing to do his own thing"

They land on the ship

AMY: "Good! I mean, why? We had a plan!"

ROUGE: "And you did a very good job implementing it"

Amy sighs

AMY: "Where is he

ROUGE: "Knowing shadow? Seeking out the strongest threat he can get his hands on"

AMY: "well… I guess Sonic and knuckles having a backup isn't a bad thing"

ROUGE: "mm. Provided they don't trip over themselves trying to show each other up"

Meanwhile, back at the alter, sonic keeps dodging super neo metal Sonic's attacks as Knuckles gets closer to the master emerald. And just as he's made his way towards it, super neo metal sonic swoops in

SUPER NEO METAL SONIC: "Aw. You almost made it this time"

He slaps knuckles so hard that he's sent flying and landing onto Sonic.

SUPER NEO METAL SONIC: "I am disappointed. Truly. You're defeated, and I didn't even need to unleash my final form"

Just then, shadow swoops in and stabs Super neo Metal Sonic with a chaos spear. Making him lose his super form as the others look on in shock

KNUCKLES: "SHADOW!?"

Neo Metal Sonic looks at his hand

NEO METAL SONIC: "Wh-what?…"

Shadow then starts beating the copy to submission. Punching him in the face, and kicking him so hard he's sent rocketing to his thrown. And just as he's about to punch him again, sonic stops him

SONIC: "WAIT! HE'LL COPY YOUR BIO DATA!"

SHADOW: "So? It wouldn't be enough to transform"

SONIC: "he'd still get your powers and become that much stronger!"

SHADOW: "tch. Afraid?"

Knuckles then pushes them both out of the way

KNUCKLES: "MOVE SO I CAN GET THE MASTER EMERALD!"

Neo metal sonic chuckles

NEO METAL SONIC: "Did you not hear, shadow? Or merely forget? Dr Eggman upgraded me to this form. He removed that pesky limitation you counted on. You have given me the final piece. All I need is sonics biodata, your bio-data as the ultimate life form, and the master emerald itself!"

Sonic looks at shadow with irritation

SONIC: "Way to go, shad. Thanks for the help"

Neo Metal Sonic creates a shield as shadow and knuckles start to attack it

SHADOW: "This isn't over!"

KNUCKLES: "Yeah! He's right there! We can get to him!"

Sonic starts to notice the place rumbling. As if there's a hundred earthquakes happening

SONIC: "uh… guys? I think a tactical retreat is in order"

Neo metal sonics shield starts to grow. Making the place explode in on itself as they escape. Knuckles looks on in dismay as Sonic tries to lighten the mood

SONIC: "Well… on the bright side, you've got your shrine back!"

Sonic, knuckles, and shadow lose their footing as yet another rumble happens

SHADOW: "what now?

KNUCKLES: "the master emerald has been cut off from angel island! Without its power, we're all gonna fall into the ocean!"

The island starts to fall as an upgraded master overlord appears in front of them

MASTER OVERLORD: "NOW SONIC, MY LOATHSOME COPY! BOW BEFORE YOUR MASTER OVERLORD!"
