Chapter 3

They were waved off as they vanished into the gate. The moment they were gone, it became oddly silent. "So… what do we do now?" Suiryu asked aloud.

"I have to help Kiyoshi get school supplies. He has to start high school soon…" Yuuji said reluctantly.

Shin was hearing all of this off to the side. He was also curious about human school and would like to experience it. But he never brought that up to his mother or father on the notion. "I know that look."

He jumped a little as Suguru came from behind him. He smirked a little and nodded. "Your father has that look. Something to consider or something he wants to do."

"Damn genetics…" Shin muttered but snickered. "That obvious huh?"

"No kidding…" Suguru paused oddly. "Let's get everyone settled in first, and we can talk later about it." He decreed.

Shin didn't understand but he nodded.

Everyone was fine as mom and dad left. Everyone did their own thing, however, there was a rule in place.

No one goes looking for trouble.

Shin's mother made certain everyone understood this before leaving. "I don't want anyone taking anyone out, acting out a plan that we are not aware of nor made, NONE OF IT!" she said defiantly before the masses. "You are permitted to defend yourselves, but don't be looking for the dragon slayers, sorcerers or Kenjaku!"

"You never let them have any fun" muttered Sukuna.

"Knowing you, you would be MORE than happy to paint a town red. Literally…" she snapped back.

"I don't deny it."

That was still funny to watch, but it meant they can't go out and try and stop the slayers or anything like that. Shin wasn't foolish by any means either. He would dare go against his mother like that. Also, he hasn't really seen Kenjaku before. He has no idea what he would be up against besides a body swapper.

"Hey, uncle Yuuji, if you are going out, can we go with you?" asked Mochi.

He was taken aback.

"Since when have I become uncle Yuuji to you?" he laughed.

"He's dad's student, Mochi" Shin said and snickered. "I don't think uncle is the right word."

Of course, Yuuji laughed it off. "It's okay, you can call me uncle Yuuji if you want, or Yuuji is fine too."

"Big brother is going out? Let's go too!" cheered Daku. "How about it big brother?" he turned and asked Megumi.

He refused to go anywhere.

But, Shin couldn't blame him either.

His sneezing is getting more… sporadic. It doesn't help either that when he sneezes, it's not always his ears that pop out. Luckily, he doesn't sneeze rabbits off his body anymore but now…

"aCHOO!"

POP

RIPPP

"Damn it!"

Shin saw a dragon tail burst out from behind Megumi. He caught his pants in time but the tail was a lot more difficult to control and hide from prying eyes.

"I think big brother needs to stay behind" Nisha said gently.

"Come on sport, let me try and help you out with this," called Fushiguro sensei.

"I can handle it!" Megumi snapped back. "It's… just taking longer"

"Sorry big brother…" Amaya said gently.

"I'll take the kids out with me, we're just getting school supplies." Yuuji said aloud.

"I think I will tag along with you." Came Nanami sensei.

Suguru even offered to go with them as well, safe than sorry.

Yuuji didn't mind the least bit. It became a group outing to the city.

It was strange to be considering something like school. However, Kiyoshi understood. He had put his mom in a tough situation with those of the board, in fact, they went to his grandfather and stated at a child his age should be in school. Despite the fact all their minds except grandpa's as been altered. No one really could remember his real age.

At this point. Kiyoshi himself was forgetting!

However, he agreed to go to school for the sake of his mother. Grandpa arranged everything so he would attend a very good and high ended school. But he was concerned that it won't go well.

Since then, he has been doing academic training thanks to Nanami sensei and Muta sensei. They have helped him with various subject that one should know in his age group. The problem was, he found the lessons to be boring. Not because they were interesting or anything, but he memorized everything rather quickly. When he was quizzed he got everything right. When they tried to review he got board of it. "I already know, let's move on!" he protested.

But now, a human school was in sight… he didn't know what to except.

However the shopping trip turned out to be rather fun. Not only did he and his dad go out, but Gojo's children too, same with the Fushiguros minus Megumi and their father.

Kiyoshi got to pick out what he wanted for school. He got plenty of supplies and was ready to cash out in record time. Yet, as he put his items on the table, a mountain dropped on top of it of school supplies!

"What, I don't need all of this!" he protested.

But he turned and smirked, it was Shin and his siblings and the Fushiguros getting stuff as well. He didn't know why, perhaps for the Fushiguros, it's the dragon in them. He could care less at this point.

His father paid for everything, everyone got a bag of school supplies and were rather content with them.

"So, when do I start school?" Kiyoshi asked aloud.

"Next week, a new semester will be starting." His father explained. "We will make sure we get a schedule ready for you…"

He tuned his dad out shortly after. Kiyoshi was wondering what it would be like? To meet kids his… age… sort of? Either way, it was something new and different. Something he couldn't really obtain in the domain where he lived.

"By the way, how long did they say they would be gone for? Yua and all of them? She didn't mention it to me…" Suguru asked.

"Huh, I don't think they said a date to me either…" Nanami sensei said offhandedly.

"Mom wants them there for a month. Give or take…" his father said aloud.

Everyone paused.

"A MONTH?!" they demanded.

"Give or take!" His father protested. "Besides, mom is insisting. I can't go against mom now can I?"

Kiyoshi paused, he wondered why grandma would want them gone for so long? That or she is rewarding aunt Yua for all her hard work…

With the supplies purchased, it was a quick trip back home. He will be starting school soon enough… hopefully it will be an enriching experience…
