Note: To my old readers, this is a rewrite of the story. i wanted to update it with my current skills as a writer. I feel now that this story deserve a nice refresher. Please let me know what you think.

Isabella 'Izzy' Parks stood on the sidewalk facing a red house. She was hesitating because she wasn't sure if she would get the relief she was seeking for herself and her sister. She fiddled with the locked around her throat. This was her last chance. Otherwise, who else could save her life?

She sighed and walked up the pathway to the stone steps of the front porch. She spoke out loud, "Why are we doing this?"

But when she did not get an answer, she stopped in front of the doors and turned to her right where there was a window. She couldn't see her own reflection. Her sister, Maria, appeared. Dirty blonde hair in a messy bun and bright blue eyes met her brown, golden ones. Izzy's brown hair imitated Maria's.

"Because we need help," Maria's voice echoed in Izzy's head. Izzy rolled her eyes.

"He left us Mar…"

Maria let out her own sigh, already annoyed with the repeated argument. "I'm not getting into this again. I know he left us. I was there. But we need his help. That locket has me trapped and it's killing you."

Izzy didn't bother replying because as much as she hated doing this, she knew her older sister was right. Maria needed to get out of the locket. She turned away, the reflection of Maria disappearing. She raised her arm then knocked on the ornate door. She felt like the knock echoed through the house. She waited a few seconds, then turned away. She looked at the window.

"There's nobody home. I'm leaving," Izzy said, facing the steps.

Maria narrowed her eyes at Izzy, "Izzy…"

Izzy ignored the warning tone. The best part of Maria in the locket was that it was so easy to ignore her when she wanted to. But once she stepped off the top step, she heard the door open behind her.

Fuck

"Hello?"

The voice of a young man called out. He watched her curiously as she debated whether she should just continue or turn around. Her decision made; the girl turned around. She stepped back up the step, a short distance away from the blonde man.

"I probably have the wrong place, but does Leo live here?" Izzy asked.

The man cocked an eyebrow, "Leo Wyatt?"

Izzy nodded.

"Yeah…he lives here," He replied. "He's my father."

Izzy was surprised. But then again, she shouldn't have been surprised. With all the stories Leo had told them when they were younger, she should've known she'd meet his son.

"You're Wyatt?"

She caught a flash of surprise on his face before he became wary of her.

"And you are…?"

"I'm Isabella…Izzy. He's never told you about me?"

Wyatt looked at her closely, leaning against the door panel. He crossed his arms.

"I'm not sure why he would, but no he didn't. How do you know him?" He asked her.

She hesitated. She wasn't sure if she should say it, but with a glance to the side, she saw Maria. Maria gestured towards Wyatt.

"He used to be my Whitelighter," Izzy said.

Wyatt's eyes widened, "I'm sorry?"

She rolled her eyes.

"For fuck's sake…I'm a witch. I know you're not a mortal. I'm not stupid."

"Rude much?" Wyatt snarked back at her.

Izzy sighed as she dropped her face into her hands. She lifted her head back up and looked into his hazel-green eyes.

"I'm sorry…that was rude. I'm just frustrated. Can I please see him?"

He took a moment then pushed himself off the door jam. He gestured her into the house. She stepped in and he closed the door behind her.

"Stay here…I'll go get him," Wyatt said before he turned and left her standing in the foyer.

She stood there alone as she watched him disappear up the stairs. She looked around the house, as much as she could see, then turned to see a small mirror which also housed jackets and umbrellas. Maria appeared. She gave Izzy a look.

"What?"

Maria didn't bother to give her a reply. It was pointless to even try scolding her from wherever she was. She just shook her head. Izzy scowled at her.

"I'm sure it was pointless to even come here," Izzy said.

"He's married to a Charmed one Izzy…We didn't just come for Leo. We came for them too. They're the most powerful witches on the planet."

"Oh please. Charmed ones or not, Mar, going to Leo was the last desperate attempt to save you. I doubt he would even want to talk to us, let alone help," Izzy retorted.

"Well maybe not after that attitude of yours. Chill the fuck out. It's not about me. It's about you. It's about saving you. You don't even know why he left. He had a family…all we had was each other."

"It doesn't matter anymore…he lef-" Izzy spoke before she heard footsteps stop.

She sighed. She was sure she looked like a loony idiot. She could sense them standing there watching her. She turned from the mirror and faced them. The first one she saw was Leo. And immediately, she felt like a little girl again, just waiting for the orbs to show up and Leo swinging her in his arms. Leo looked so much older than he ever did. The wrinkles marred his face and his hair had grey. It didn't matter. Her world shrunk as she looked at Leo and remembered her excitement when she was five years old.

"Leo…" She whispered.

Leo had a look of confusion as he raised an eyebrow and cocked his head, "Do I know you?"

In that moment, her world exploded. Everything went cold. She stood up straighter and her eyes burned…gleamed dangerously. She could see Maria in the edge of her eyes.

"Not this again…"

Izzy whipped her head towards the mirror, "Shut up."

"Excuse me?"

Leo's voice took her attention back. He had crossed his arms and was looking at her with concern. Izzy wanted to laugh. The look on his face…he didn't deserve to look at her like that.

"I was crazy to think you'd recognize me after all these years. That everything would be the way it was before when you sat us down and told us stories about Wyatt and Piper. All those demons you helped vanquished and the Elders that seemed so hell-bent on keeping you and her apart," Izzy said as she gestured towards the woman who she assumed to be Piper.

"Leo?" Piper, the woman standing beside him spoke.

He turned to her then back to Izzy. In that moment, it clicked.

"Holy fuck…you're not a Whitelighter anymore, are you?"

"How did you know I was a Whitelighter?" Leo spoke with surprise.

Izzy rolled her eyes, "Because you used to be our Whitelighter Leo! One of the reasons why we came to you for help was because you could heal," Izzy said. "I was right…this was pointless. God, I wished Maria hadn't convinced me to come here."

She couldn't stand to look at Leo anymore, so she turned away. Recognition sparked in Leo's eyes, and it widened as he realized who he was talking to.

"You know what? I'm out of here," Izzy said before she turned fully to the door. Just as she put her hand on the doorknob, Leo jumped forwards and grabbed her arm.

"Bella?"

She stopped, frozen. She hadn't heard that nickname in a long time. That moment she knew he finally recognized her. She whipped her head towards him, "You don't get to call me that anymore. You lost that right the day you left."

She jerked her arm out of his grip. She pushed him away, hands on his chest.

"I'm sorry, Bel-"

Izzy narrowed her eyes at him, "No! It's too late for a damn apology. Sixteen years too la-"

An explosion erupted in the room. Leo wrapped his arms around Izzy as they slammed into the front doors, sliding to the ground. Piper and Wyatt dropped to the floor as a blue force field enveloped them.
