And now I present to you… an extended version of my very first FanFiction story: Kingdom Hearts: Hill Valley. What was once a one-shot turned into part of a series I created.
I decided to do this in light of getting better at writing stuff like this.
Consider whichever ones you want canon.
And yes I know Michael J. Fox is retired but I read somewhere he's still open to voice acting. And there is the amazing stuff people can do with voice recordings now, like with voice synthesis, like one company Val Kilmer's collaborating with for future projects since his treatment for throat cancer.
Plus, he IS Marty McFly and one of my favorite actors. And I am rooting for him no matter what.
Also, like the original, Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Mickey are in their Kingdom Hearts II attires.

Disney Castle:
Two days had passed since Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy had returned from the Valley of Peace. All six were now Kung Fu Masters.
Sora and Kairi were continuing to train to become Keyblade Masters like Riku and Mickey were. They were currently doing it in the backyard of the castle.
"I gotta say Kairi, you really have a knack for being a Keyblade Wielder." Sora commented.
Kairi smiled. "Thanks Sora. I really am hoping I'm making a difference with my fighting." she said. "I don't wanna be on the sidelines and let you do all the work when I can try to at least do something."
"And I'm proud of you for coming so far." Sora said proudly. "You're gonna be a great Keyblade Master."
"So are you." Kairi smiled. "Even though you didn't pass the test, I know you have potential too."
"Thanks Kairi." Sora smiled.
"Training go well?"
Both looked over to see Riku wan up to them.
"Kairi's a natural." Sora said with a smile.
"I believe it alright." said Riku. "If she keeps it up she'll be a Keyblade Master in no time."
"Aw thanks!" Kairi smiled.
"And what about me?" Sora asked, pretending to be insulted. "I almost became a Keyblade Master like you."
"I know." Riku nodded. "You know, as a Master I can give you the title."
"Yeah but I feel like I should earn it." Sora replied. "I know I came close during the Mark of Mastery, but I did get captured." He smiled. "I'll get there someday on my own."
"You are pretty unique and powerful in your own way." said Kairi.
"Thanks Kai." Sora chuckled. "Come on, let's head inside. I think it's starting to get a little hot out here."
Inside the castle, everyone was doing their regular stuff.
King Mickey and Queen Minnie were writing letters in their study.
"OK, that's my letter to Bugs and the Loony Tunes done!" said Mickey. "And how's your letter goin' Minnie?"
"My letter to the Queen of England is done… now!" Minnie declared. "And that concludes our paperwork!"
"Hot dog!" Mickey cheered.
Donald and Daisy were watching Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby play soccer in the backyard. Dewey and Webby were up against Huey and Louie.
"Oh what's this?!" Dewey dramatically shouted, stealing the ball from Louie.
"Hey!" Louie yelled.
"Dewey Duck has got the ball ladies and gentlemen!" Dewey declared.
"Not for long!" Huey called as he ran for his younger brother asd Dewey ran for the goal.
"Go Dewey!" Webby cheered.
"So which side should we cheer on?" Donald asked.
"I think as long as the kids are having a good time, it doesn't really matter." Daisy replied.
Through Webby's shadow, Lena appeared next to the two adult ducks, who didn't notice her thanks to her shadow form.
"You guys cheer on who you want, I'm cheering for Webby even if she doesn't know it." Lena smirked before her beak went into a thin line. "Hmm… or should I cheer for Louie?"
"Go kids!" Donald cheered.
"You kids have fun!" called Daisy.
"Meh, I'll cheer for them both." Lena shrugged before whooping. "Whoo go guys!"
Goofy was doing some marching in the hallway.
"And hut, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight!" Goofy chanted as he marched.
Max came in. "Hey Dad, have you seen my skateboard?" he asked. "I set it down so I could go to the bathroom and then it disappeared."
"Sorry Maxie, haven't seen it!" Goofy said, not breaking his march… only for him to slip on Max's skateboard.
Goofy yelled his signature hollar as he crashed into a knight statue.
"Hey Max! I found your skateboard!" Goofy yelled from the pile of armor.
"Gee, thanks Dad." Max muttered.
In the lab, Scrooge was on a video chat call with the Board of Directors as Ludwig presented a new gadget.
"This little doohickey right here I call the Von Drake Service Drone." Ludwig said as he showed it. "While it looks like a regular drone, this contraption can service a person's news, on or off the ground."
Ludwig pressed a button on his remote and the drone flew out of his hands. He pressed another button and it grew legs and began to walk around.
"I see." Bradford muttered, his expression not changing. "And when does this odd contraption suddenly go out of control?"
"Oh come on Bradford, you and your brothers should have more faith in people like Luwdig like I do!" snorted Scrooge.
"His record speaks for itself." Bradford deadpanned. "More of his recent inventions don't easily shout 'successful' to this company like Gyro's."
"Oh come now, this device is perfectly sa-AAAAHH!" Ludwig suddenly shouted as the drone's lights suddenly turned red and began to blast lasers at him, making him run away. "GOOD GOD I DIDN'T EVEN ADD LASERS!" he shouted as he bolted for the stairs.
Scrooge sweatdropped sheepishly. "The unexpected always happens in our world." he said.
And in the screening room, Lea was watching TV.
"This is Roxanne Feathery reporting live from Glomgold Industries where the head of the company, Flintheart Glomgold, has invested in shark-themed cars and trucks." said Roxanne. "All Zan Owlson had to say was this is a temporary setback for more proper investments."
"Villains these days." Lea huffed. He turned to Pluto and Figaro who were resting in their own pet beds. "Is it just me or do many of the castle residents' arch enemies look, sound, and act dumber than the rest?"
Pluto barked and Figaro meowed in agreement.
"I may not understand you but I can tell you are in agreement." Lea quipped, switching off the TV.
The redhead walked into the hall where he saw Sora, Riku, and Kairi walked into the hall.
"Well well well if it ain't the Destiny Island trio." Lea hummed. "Keyblade training go well?"
"You bet it has Ax-I mean Lea." Sora nodded.
"You're progressing much better. I like that." Lea chuckled.
Sora laughed. "Kairi really has come a long way in the past couple of weeks." he said.
"If she keeps this up, she and Sora will both be masters in no time." said Riku.
"As long as Sora makes sure he learns well."
The humans looked over to see Donald and Goofy walk up. It had been Donald who spoke.
"Hey I learned well!" Sora retorted.
"Well you were on par with Riku and he was the only one who became a master." Goofy pointed out.
"You still need work." Donald teased.
"Yeah rub it in." Sora huffed.
Riku rolled his eyes, amused. "Ok lay off the guy." he said. "It's clear Sora's more powerful than us. The Organization just got a damn drop on him, but that's it. He keeps it up and doesn't act reckless he may just be a Keyblade Master by the end of this month."
"That would be something to accomplish. A-hyuck!" commented Goofy.
At that moment, Mickey entered the room.
"Heya fellas! I'm getting a call on my Gummiphone!" he said, revealing said device ringing.
The six watched Mickey answer his Gummiphone. On the screen appeared Aerith.
"Oh good! I finally reached you guys!" Aerith said in relief.
"What's the trouble Aerith?" asked Goofy. "Is Radiant Garden in some kind of kerfuffle?"
"No. Cid's computer picked up a world in danger." the brunette replied. "Cid's busy talking to Ienzo about something so I decided to give you a call."
"Another world in danger? It's only been two days." hummed Sora.
"Looks at though Xehanort isn't taking any chances, especially since he lost a good ally when Shen got killed." Riku remarked.
Radiant Garden, Merlin's House:
"I'm emailing you the coordinates. Good luck." said Aerith as she ended the call.
No sooner did Aerith send the email, the door opened. Ienzo strolled in, holding a box.
"Don't mind me Ms. Gainsborough. Cid's allowing me to collect some more stuff for the project Even and I are working on." the steel-blue-haired scientist said, walking to one of the tables near the computer.
"Ok Ienzo." said Aerith. "So what is the project anyway? While Leon, Tifa, and I aren't prying, Yuffie's wanting to know what it's all about."
"I don't want too much word getting out about it. But it will help the Guardians of Light against the Seekers of Darkness in the impending Keyblade War." Ienzo replied, gathering the items.
"I understand." Aerith nodded.
Disney Castle:
"Welp it looks like we got another world to save." said Mickey. "I'll plug in the coordinates when we get to the Gummiship."
"Alright, another adventure!" Sora grinned excitedly.
"You wanna join this on this one Axel?" Kairi asked.
Lea shook his head. "Nah I'm gonna sit this one out again. Gonna get more extra training done so I can be on all your levels." he replied. "Plus, there should probably be at least one Keyblade Wielder here at the castle."
"Good call." Mickey said approvingly.
Gummiship Hanger:
Soon the group of six was all ready to go. Lea, Minnie, Daisy, Max, Lea, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Ludwig, Scrooge, Chip, Dale, Pluto, and even Horace and Clarabelle were there to see them off.
"It's only been two days and you guys have to go on another mission again?" asked Daisy.
"Sorry toots but we have a job to do." Donald said gently, stroking Daisy's head.
"We know… we just worry about you all sometimes." Minnie said softly.
"Sometimes wondering if you'll ever come back…" added Clarabelle.
"Well we did last time!" Sora said cheekily.
"That is true." nodded Scrooge.
"Just make sure you're careful out there." said Minnie.
"Well in our line of work that might be pretty tough." Goofy pointed out.
"But hey, we manage to get though it." said Sora.
"It's so true! You guys are basically unstoppable!" Webby grinned.
"Can't we come with Uncle Donald?" begged Dewey.
"Sorry kiddo, but you're not experienced with this kind of adventuring." said Donald. "It takes some getting used to."
"Believe me, I was thrown into it the day Destiny Islands fell to darkness." said Sora.
"Same here. And that was also combined being manipulated by both Maleficent and the fake Ansem." said Riku.
"Boy you fellas sure have been through a lot." commented Horace.
"You can say that again! A-hyuck!" chuckled Goofy.
"Maybe next time boys." said Donald.
"Fine by me. I'm not looking forward to fighting those Heartless or Nobodies or whatever." said Louie.
"Well you guys have fun on your mission!" said Chip.
"Kick some bad guy butt like the awesome heroes you are!" Dale said enthusiastically.
"You bet we will!" Sora grinned.
"And don't worry about the castle, it's in good hands!" said Ludwig, giving a thumbs up… as a small robot climbed out of his lab coat and wandered into the castle.
"Somehow I wanna be afraid of that sentence." Louie drawled.
"Don't worry, this castle will still be standing by the time you get back." assured Scrooge.
"With at least one Keyblade wielder here, those odds are gonna be fine." added Lea. "Got it memorized?"
"You betcha!" chuckled Mickey.
"And Daisy? I promise we'll go on a date when we get back." assured Donald.
"Aw Donald!" Daisy cooed as she hugged him.
Everyone waved their goodbyes as the six boarded the Gummiship. The front door opened. And this time, the trap door didn't, and the Gummiship took to the sky.
"Huh. That's a first." commented Chip.
"So… now what do we do?" asked Horace.
"Now we get on with whatever we have to do." said Minnie. "Now then, I am off to the library."
And Minnie took her leave.
One by one everyone took off. Lea stayed behind and looked out at the Gummiship doorway, seeing the aircraft disappear from view before the door shut.
"Good luck guys…" he said with a smirk. "You may just need it…"
Gummiship:
The group of six sat in their chairs on the Gummiship as Mickey sailed through the Lanes-In-Bewteen.
"So any idea what this world is, Your Majesty?" asked Sora.
Mickey chuckled. "Come on Sora, I told you in Gongmen City. You don't have to call me that anymore. We're all pals now." he said.
"Take that chance Sora." Riku said with a playful smirk. "You know you're on amazing terms with someone of royalty when they let you be on first name basis. I got that chance when he stood by my side after Castle Oblivion."
Sora smiled sheepishly. "Right. Sorry."
"Aw it's fine." Mickey replied. "Anyways, no I don't know what the world is gonna be."
"Maybe it's one we've been to before!" suggested Goofy.
"Or something completely new." Donald chimed in.
"Either way, I'll be happy to visit and save it." said Kairi. "As long as I'm with my friends."
The boys smiled at Kairi.
"Yeah. I'll be happy to go into battle with you 5 by my side anyday." smiled Sora.
"Me too!" said Donald.
"Our bonds have gotten stronger since Gongmen City." said Goofy.
"We're a family." said Riku, standing up to declare it further. "Family sticks together no matter what kind of hell is brought upon them."
"And our hearts are connected forever." added Sora.
The six friends smiled at each other. They weren't just friends. They were indeed a family.
It wasn't long before they saw a very unfamiliar world. It had a clocktower on top with a small town and a school underneath.
"Whoa! A new world!" exclaimed Sora as he turned over to Mickey. "Have you ever been to this one before Mickey?"
The mouse king studied the world.
"Nope. Never been here before. But by the looks of it, it appears to be consumed by darkness." he replied.
"Well if it's covered in darkness, we'd better take care of it." declared Riku.
"Let's kick some Heartless butt!" exclaimed Donald enthusiastically.
"Gwarsh, someone's excited, a-huck!" commented Goofy.
"I have every right to show the bad guys who's boss!' retorted Donald.
Everyone couldn't help but laugh at that reply.
"Alright Donald, calm yourself." said Mickey, parking the ship. "Ok, you fellas ready for another adventure?"
"You bet we are!" said Sora.
Everyone else nodded in agreement.
"Then let's go!" said Mickey, pressing some buttons.
The cockpit was enveloped in light before all six heroes disappeared.
Hill Valley:
Six beams of light came down from the sky in a parking lot.
Sora and Co. took note of their surroundings. They appeared to be in a suburban town filled with various stores and businesses. People were walking or driving by in their day-to-day lives. No one seemed to notice they were there. And even if they did, they just continued on with their day. Near the back of it was a clock tower that read 10:04.
"Well isn't this a lovely town," commented Kairi.
"It sure is. I wonder what this place is." replied Sora.
"Look, a sign!" exclaimed Goofy.
They walked over to the sign that appeared to have a poster stapled to it.
"'Welcome to Hill Valley.'" Sora read.
"'Vote Goldie Wilson for mayor.'" said Donald reading the poster.
"Well, we know where we are now." said Mickey.
Everyone laughed.
Riku then looked around. "Hmm… I wonder…" he said.
"What'cha thinkin' Riku?" asked Sora.
"I'm wondering if this world is during older times." Riku said. "Some of these cars… look pretty old."
Everyone looked in Riku's direction and took notice.
"Huh. Riku's right. Some of these cars haven't been made since the 60's or 70's or 80's." said Mickey.
Kairi spotted a newspaper stand. She bent down and took a closer look. The date read October 25, 1985.
"Wow… we're in 1985!" she gasped.
The men looked at her.
"1985?!" Sora gasped. "But that's like… 30 or 40 years ago!"
"Well some of the worlds we've visited aren't always in the present." said Donald. "The Land of the Dragons, the Valley of Peace, Agrabah, Olympus, The Caribbean…"
"Yeah! Not all of them have those fancy technology stuff like we do!" said Goofy.
"Plus, different worlds have different laws of time." added Mickey.
Sora nodded in understanding.
They took some time to look around the town. It had been only 2 minutes as Goofy absent-mindedly looked up at the clock tower which still said, 10:04.
"Hmm… that's odd. Why's the clock still say 10:04?" he thought out loud.
Riku glanced at the clock and then back at him. "Maybe it's broken." he suggested.
"If so, I hope they fix it soon. That tower looks pretty cool." said Sora.
Everyone nodded. Just then, a swarm of Heartless swarmed in. There were Shadows, Soldiers, Flappy Bugs, and Tireblades.
Sora summoned Kingdom Key, Riku summoned Way to the Dawn, Kairi summoned Destiny's Embrace, Mickey Summoned Star Seeker, Donald summoned Mage's Staff, and Goofy summoned Knight's Shield.
"Time to get busy." said Sora as they rushed into battle.

Sora started off the battle with a Wind Tracer spell cast upon two Shadows, launching them into the air. The brunette then jumped into the air and slashed them right from above. He then landed on the ground and then casted Quake against three Soldiers, effectively killing them. Riku charged at some Flappy Bugs and slashed at them. They began to swarm at the Keyblade Master, but Riku backflipped into the air and then unleashed a Blizzara spell to immobilize them. Riku landed on the ground and then slashed them all away. Kairi jumped out of the path of the Tireblades trying to run her down. The Princess of Heart casted Firaga spells against them whenever either side got near each other. She managed to jump on top of one and managed to slash it away before she could even fall off of it. Mickey slashed at several Soldiers before he triple-somersaulted into the air to avoid their thrashing attacks. Mickey then held his Keyblade up and then casted Transcendence, sending the Heartless hurtling as they crashed against the ground. Donald bashed several Shadows against their faces while also ducking from their jumping attacks. The mage then held his staff up high and then casted Thundaga to obliterate them. He then casted Exo Spark to electrocute several Flappy Bugs in the air. Goofy tossed his shield like a Frissbee against several Tireblades, making them swerve out of control. Seeing one come his way, the king's captain performed Goofy-Tornado, bashing it in the face so many times that it was eventually destroyed.
Riku fought against a swarm of Flappy Bugs, bashing and slashing them all around. Seeing three come his way, Riku jumped up and casted Wateraga, sending them crashing onto the ground. Sora charged at some Tireblades and then spun-slashed them around. The brunette then jumped back, held his Keyblade up high, and then casted Triple Plasma, obliterating the Heartless on wheels. Donald casted a light spell against two Soldiers at once, but three more tackled him. Quacking like mad, Donald was able to fling as he jumped around in anger and flung them off of him and then destroyed them with a Blizzaga Pursuit spell. Goofy slammed his shield into several Shadows in their faces, knocking them away. Several more Shadows tried to come at Goofy, but he sidekicked them away and then dinged one in the head with his shield. Kairi used Blackout to immobilize several Flappy Bugs and then used Flower Shoot to finish them. Two Soldiers jumped at her, but Kairi jumped up, did a split kick, sending them flying away, and then fired Firaga at both of them. Mickey slashed at some more Shadows with his Keyblade before he was surrounded by three of them and three Soldiers. Holding his Keyblade up, Mickey unleashed Ultima and destroyed them.
"Is that all of them?" asked Riku.
"Hold on, there's still some Tireblades!" said Mickey.
And he was right. Speeding towards them from the front of the clocktower were three Tireblades speeding towards them.
"I got this!" said Sora before calling to his heart, "Give me strength!"
Sora's clothes glowed before he was in his Limit Form, his clothes colors the same as his old clothes from when he first started his journey.
Clutching Kingdom Key, Sora charged at the Tireblades. First he used Slapshot to knock one into the air. He then used Strike Raid against the rest, tossing his Keyblade spinning at them before returning. Sora then weakened them further as he casted Infinity, summoning a cluster of energy shots at the Heartless. And as a finishing move, Sora used Ripple Drive to finish them off.

All the Heartless were gone from the Town Square. Everyone panted as Sora's clothes transformed back to normal.
"First Heartless attack… and we fought like pros!" Sora said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Sure did!" said Donald as he casted Curaga spells on everyone.
"Wow… now that was heavy…"
The six friends dismissed their weapons and looked towards the source of the noise. There coming up to them was a caucasian teenage boy. He looked to be about 16-17, had slick brown hair and wore Guess blue jeans, a red t-shirt, a Guess Marciano two-tone blue denim jacket with an "Art in Revolution" button, a Fender P-Bass pin and a and a Boomerang pin, well as a white checked Shah Safara button-up collared shirt with black 3/4" suspenders slightly visible when the jacket moved around, a Casio CA50W digital watch on his left wrist, a silver Aiwa model HS-P02 Walkman around his neck, mirrored Zeiss aviator sunglasses with a sweatguard, white Nike Bruin shoes with red swoosh and backtab with gray socks. He was also holding a purple skateboard.
"That was one heck of a fight you guys pulled of here. I'm impressed." said the teen.
"Thanks. And that's what it's like when you deal with the Heartless almost everywhere you go." replied Sora.
"'Heartless.' Is that what they're called?" he asked.
"Yep. Have they been a problem recently?" asked Mickey, a little concerned.
"Sort of, they've been in Hill Valley since yesterday. I've been taking care of them myself. Usually with my skateboard. But no one seemed to notice," he shrugged.
"The Heartless are a crafty bunch." said Riku. "And many of us have come across many more crafty villains."
"Sounds like you got an interesting job or something." the teen quipped. "I asked my friend, Dr. Emmett Brown if he knows anything about them. He's a scientist. But he knows nothing about 'em."
"They are creatures of darkness." said Sora.
"Huh. That's a new one…" he murmured. "You guys battle them often?"
"Pretty much, they cause trouble nearly everywhere we go. They only appear near someone with darkness in their heart." replied Riku.
"That's pretty heavy. Anyways, you're Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy right?" he asked the three anthropomorphic animals.
Mickey, Donald, and Goofy were shocked. They started at the boy they had just met knew them.
"H-H-How do you know us?' Goofy asked, shocked.
The boy was confused. "Uh, you guys are famous! Me and my family love watching your cartoons and movies!" he replied.
The three looked at each other while Sora, Riku, and Kairi stared at them in confusion. Then it dawned on the three pals that they were actually famous in other worlds.
"Oh right! Thanks for reminding us!" said Mickey, shaking the teen's hand.
"Always nice meeting a fan!" said Donald shaking the teen's hand.
"Yep. Anyways, these are our friends." said Goofy gesturing his head over to the keyblade wielders as he shook the boy's hand.
"I'm Sora" said Sora.
"Riku." replied Riku.
"And I'm Kairi." concluded Kairi.
"Nice to meet you all. Name's Marty. Marty McFly." said the teen after shaking the island trio's hands. "So where are you all from? Toontown or something?"
"No, we're travelers, but we traveled around a lot, that it's kind of hard to say where we're from." replied Mickey simply. He said this to protect the world order.
But Marty didn't seem to buy it. "Nice try, but you think I'm gonna believe that? I know you're from somewhere." he replied, taking the others aback. "Plus, I saw you all doing those badass moves and use actual magic powers. That's not something you can just ignore."
The group froze.
"And… you're not questioning said powers because…?" Sora began.
"It looked pretty cool." Marty replied.
"Okay then. If you want the truth, well, we're actually from different worlds-" Sora began.
"Sora! Orlds-way ecrecy-say!" exclaimed Kairi, frantically in Pig-Latin.
"Guys, the first thing you should know about the World Order is at…no one cares." He explained.
Kairi, Riku, Donald, and Goofy turned to the king to see if he was gonna argue with that. But to their surprise, he was smiling.
"It's true." he replied simply, making the others jaws drop.
"Besides, it's not like other can get figure out a way to get to them, let alone ones like Atlantica, Halloween Town, or the Pride Lands." added Sora. He turned back to Marty. "Anyways, Riku, Kairi, and I grew up on Destiny Islands."
"Donald, Goofy, and I grew up together in Disney Town. I now rule the kingdom with Minnie by my side as my queen, Donald, as my court magician, and Goofy as my captain of the guards."
Marty stared a little before exclaiming, "You're a king?!" before getting down on one knee and bowing. "Your Majesty, it is an honor to have you in our town."
The 6 chuckled in amusement.
"Relax Marty, there's no need for formalities." Mickey assured him.
Marty looked up in surprise. "Wait what? Really?"
"Yeah! You can just call me Mickey." Mickey replied.
Maty sighed in relief as he got up. "Oh thank god." He then grinned. "That's so cool that the Mickey Mouse is a freaking king! I bet the kingdom must be great if it's in your hands." he said getting up.
Mickey blushed. "Aw shucks. Thanks Marty."
"Anyways, would you like to meet my friend? He makes cool inventions." asked Marty.
The others looked at each other before nodding in agreement.
"We'd love to meet him Marty." answered Kairi.
Marty smiled as he set his skateboard down. "Alright, let's go. I'll lead. Along the way, I'm very interested in hearing about your adventures in world-traveling."
"Ok, but you cannot tell anyone about it, or that there are other worlds in general." said Sora.
"And we're not referring to other planets like Mars." said Kairi. "More like… different versions of Earth."
"The world-order must be protected!" Donald declared.
"Hey yeah no worries. Your secret's safe with me." assured Marty. "Now come on, I was gonna stop by and see the doc before I head to school."
"Gawrsh, are you sure you have enough time?" asked Goofy.
Marty checked his watch, shook his wrist, and checked again. "Yeah. Yeah I got time. Follow me."
Marty skated away as Sora, Riku, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy followed close behind, talking about their adventures as they headed to Doc's house.
