"What do you mean our army defending Pennsylvania defected?!" President Myers asked.
"Miss. President, with our losses mounting and them already replicating Sherman's March to the sea. Splitting our southern forces in half. Throughout the war we have been suffering desertions and with us being pushed out of Texas and the fall of Michigan and Indiana it's only skyrocketed." The General of the Army told her.
"We not only outnumbered the Free States, but we have more military equipment than them also."
"This Enclave has negated this advantage. Their support bots and this "Liberty Prime" are shredding through us. Then there is their nuclear 'fat man' launchers"
"There has to be something we can do?"
"Well there is…"
Then the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier guard busts in interrupting the conversation. "President Myers, we are placing you under arrest." The Captain of the guard says.
"What mutiny is this?" She asks.
"Sorry but enough destruction has been done to this country and we will not allow warfare to reach this city."
"So you will hand this country over to separatists?"
"The Enclave have already proven themselves to be more capable of settling this nation back on the right track. They are even in a position to negotiate with Texas. Now stand down."
"No you stand down, I already called for aid."
"No one is coming. We killed your secret service personnel and the rest of the military in DC is too busy arresting Congress, the Supreme Court and the Pentagon."
Then the General of the Army pulls out his gun and aims it at Myers. "After giving it some thought, I realize that they are right."
"Jax how could you, I gave you your job."
"If the Enclave can defeat us, as they currently stand, then with America's full might, we can have Europe and Japan under our boot. We can bomb the world into using the US dollar again."
"There is nothing I can say about that."
