In a Umbrella Corporation facility beneath Mitakihara City, a disaster of massive proportions had broken out.

"What the hell!" a scientist said as he dodged swipes and bites from his zombified coworkers.

Gunshots from an H&K MP5 rang out across the halls as alarms blared and the intercom repeated the same line, containment failure, over and over. Panicked staff were rushing towards emergency exits to either escape the facility or reach the emergency bunker.

"I'll cover you! Get out of here fast!" a security officer ordered a group of scientists as he lit up the infected mob. Soon enough he was out of ammo and his gun clicked. As he was rushing to reload, a drop of saliva from the roof dripped onto his hand and as he looked up a giant tongue wrapped around his body and yanked him up.

A female scientist tripped over an office chair in panic before a zombified maintenance employee grabbed her ankle and bit into it. She tried her best to fight it off but another zombie tackled her and started devouring her face. A security officer entered the room and lit the trio up with no regard for the scientist's safety, considering them a lost cause.

"Where the hell is the communications team?" a security officer sternly asked a researcher.

"I don't know what happened to them!" the researcher replied in a panicked state.

"We need to get to the communications command room and send out a distress signal!" the security officer declared.

"You're crazy! The entire sector it's in was infected!" the researcher interjected.

The security officer began to object but before he could open his mouth a vine covered with leaves and blooming flowers broke through the wall impaling him through his ribcage. The researcher fell backwards in terror busting through a push door and fell on the ground. As they got up they heard a sound behind them and when they shrieked in terror a horde of zombies trampled over them.

"They closed the shelter prematurely! What are we going to do!" a maintenance employee cried out.

Another employee ran into the bathroom and then a gunshot was heard alongside a splatter of blood flying out of the entrance. The entire facility had been lost in a matter of a couple hours.

In the emergency bunker the technicians got everything set up and then used the emergency console to send out a code red alert to other Umbrella facilities but right when they did the shelters emergency generators ran out of fuel.

"Oh no," a scientist whispered to themselves.

After a short-lived terror induced couple of minutes the blast doors were torn open by three large tentacles, and they shot into the bunker as security opened fire to no avail. The bunker had been lost.
