An hour later Kim found herself sitting outside of Olive Garden with Jay and Zoey.

"We need to go in, babe. Hailey's texted me three times already asking where we are." Jay said gently. They'd put off not getting ready for as long as they could, and they'd been sitting outside the restaurant for almost twenty minutes. It was time to face the music.

"I know," Is all she said before leaning over the center console to kiss her husband before opening her door and getting out of the car. Jay and Zoey quickly followed suit. Kim held onto Jay's hand anxiously as they walked inside and her other hand rested on her small baby bump. Zoey walked ahead of them, rushing to greet Platt when she spotted the older woman.

"There you guys are! We were starting to get worried." Hailey stood up to greet them, Kim let go of Jay's hand and went over to hug her friend. She hoped they'd still be friends after the night was over.

"Sorry, sorry. I had a lack of energy after my doctor's appointment." Kim apologized, before going to take her seat.

"So, what's this dinner about? It must be something important if you wanted all of us here." Voight surprised everyone by being the first to breach the subject.

"There's some stuff that I need to tell you guys," Kim said slowly, waiting until everyone's attention was on her before continuing.

"I've been seeing someone for almost eight years and I've been married to him for almost four." She held her breath once the words left her mouth, there was no going back now. She looked around at the looks on their faces. Trudy was smiling encouragingly at her, Voight was stoic as ever, and Adam and Kevin both looked incredibly confused and a little hurt, but Hailey's expression sent her for a loop. Hailey's face had paled the second the words had left Kim's mouth and she looked like she was trying not to throw up.

"And I'm four months pregnant," Kim said before she could stop herself. She needed to get that part over with as well. She could tell that that part was clicking in their brains. It made a lot of sense. She'd stopped going to Molly's on team outings immediately after they'd found out she was pregnant. Jay still went though, they didn't want the team to get suspicious.

"How have you possibly kept that secret for four months?" Kevin asked, there was a lot of disbelief in his voice.

"I didn't start showing until recently and the whole tripping over the cat and breaking my foot thing also really helped." She explained and motioned down to the boot on her foot. Kim rolled her eyes when she saw both Jay and Zoey holding back laughter. She didn't understand what was so funny about it.

"Wait, wait. Why are you telling us all of this without him?" Adam asked, she could tell he was trying super hard to put the pieces together.

"She's not," Jay said and somehow everyone looked even more confused, and Hailey looked even more sick.

"Jay and I have been together for seven years. We never intended to keep it a secret for so long, it was only supposed to stay that way for a few months at most while we tried to navigate a newfound relationship, but eventually hiding it became a habit." Kim explained hastily, needing them to know that they never meant for this to happen.

"Excuse me," Hailey said, barely loud enough for everyone to hear before she took off in the direction of the bathroom. Kim exchanged a concerned look with Jay before she stood and went after Hailey.

~••~

Hailey took deep breaths to try and calm herself down as she leaned against the sink in the bathroom. She didn't even bother to look up when she heard the bathroom door open, she knew it was Kim. She also knew that if she looked at her, she was going to start crying. So, she continued to stare down at the sink.

"Hails?" Kim's voice was soft and it was full of concern.

"Don't," Hailey whispered, willing her voice not to tremble. Kim paused, taking a moment to collect her thoughts and think of what to say next.

"Don't what?" Kim asked a hint of confusion now mixed in with the concern.

"Don't try to comfort me right now. It feels.." Hailey paused for a moment, taking a deep breath and willingly herself not to cry before she continued, "It feels like you just ripped my heart out of my chest and now you're trying to fix it with a fucking bandaid."

"Hailey, what are you talking about?" Kim asked as she stepped closer to her.

"Are you really that oblivious?" Hailey finally looked up at Kim through the mirror, an incredulous look on her face. Kim stared back at her silently, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Hailey could feel her tears fighting their way out of her eyes, and at this point? At this point, she didn't even care about stopping them anymore.

"I don't understand," Kim said, stepping back again when she saw the look on Hailey's face.

"I love you," Hailey whispered, somehow managing to hold Kim's gaze. "I love you too," Kim said slowly like it was the most obvious thing in the world, Hailey shook her head.

"No, Kim. I'm in love with you."

Kim and Jay weren't the only ones that had secrets. Hailey could see the wheels turning in Kim's head, she could see the other woman trying to make sense of what had just been said. Hailey stayed quiet, letting Kim take her time to process this information.

"I- I'm sorry," Kim whispered before she rushed out of the bathroom.

Hailey finally let the tears steam down her face.
